2015.07.01 20:48 Kaeloron Error emulating PS1 games from any source

Hello /emulation,
I am turning to you as last chance of getting this to work before I completely give up on this. For several hours I have been trying to emulate my PS1games on my PC,using several different emulators, without success. First the basics:
Tried following emulators:
I have tried playing FFIX for nostalgia's sake and thought i'd just load it up in an emulator, never had problems playing my PS2 games on one, SNES always worked like a charm aswell. I downloaded the latest version of ePSX (1.926) and a pack of PAL Bios Versions as I am from Europe. Then I went through every step of the configuration wizard and chose all the plugins using the standard configurations. When I tried to mount the CD from my drive it would open the game-window with just a black screen showing on the upper right corner "Analog off" (concerning the gamepad settings I assume) for several seconds and nothing more. No PS bios or any audio. The Emulator's log said the following:
After some googleing I tried changing some plugins (thought it might be a problem with the drive not being able to read the cd, but i could open it within windows explorer and access the files directly; used another GPU plugin, nothing changed) and also tried several PAL BIOS versions, all with the same outcome. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that might lead to solving the problem as I am quite puzzled about the whole ordeal.
Thank you in advance.
edit: I also tried to load another game (FF VIII) from CD with the same result as well as loading FFIX from an .iso which also did not work.
edit2: formatting is hard.
