2024.05.13 17:25 colehowy Issues with teleporting and placing characters inconsistently in VR

Hi, I've recently begun and am new to working in Unity and its VAR applications and have been working on a project that has me working on a premade Unity project I didn't have a hand in and I'm trying to port our game from a Pico to Meta Quest 3 and have been having some placement issues with our character when using stationary boundaries for the room as they inconsistently place the character into the scene without any input.
Every time I load the apk up in our headset while sitting, everything seems to be set up accordingly with the XR Rig set the correct look direction and starting position but when actually entering the game a solid 70% of the time the game offsets the character by a random amount either backwards or to the side ruining the setup of some of the screens we have as they either have issues reading them from afar or are unable to interact with the rest of the scene due to spawning outside of its walls.
Roomscale seems to work fine up most of the time due to being able to set yourself in the middle of the area wanted and being able to move towards objects and locations and I am currently running a script while running to give myself the updating X, Y, Z coordinates to see if there was any pattern to each placement but afaik the numbers were random and I couldn't weed out the issue.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas they would be greatly appreciated because at this point I think I may need to gut out teleporting functionality and try to recreate that but that sounds outside of what I understand atm and may not have the time to do so.

2024.05.13 12:38 Ryanwilliam01 How to Use Cricut Maker: Create a Siser EasyColor DTV Project!

Have you just bought a new Cricut Maker and are wondering how to use Cricut Maker? This brilliant Cricut machine may be overwhelming for beginners, but it is simpler than you think. You get many amazing features with this crafting machine. Let’s get ready to use it and make creative DIY projects with it. I will tell you how to prepare a desired project using this Cricut cutting machine.
Cricut Maker offers various adaptive features that help you create unique and beautiful projects effortlessly. Plus, you get a slot for inserting pens and a number of Cricut tools and supplies. It will be all fun to create something with this ultimate machine. Here, I’ll tell you the best methods to prepare personalized apparel using Siser EasyColor DTV. You’ll learn more about it later in this blog. So, let’s get started.

Supplies and Tools You Will Need for Your Cricut Project

Before we get started to learn how to use Cricut Maker, you must gather some important accessories. I’m listing all of the best accessories here. Use them and follow my step-by-step instructions to create your own project. Check the steps below.
● Brand new Cricut Maker or Explore
● Siser EasyColor DTV
● Siser Easy Mask
● An inkjet printer
● Cricut StandardGrip mat
● A weeding tool
● A Cricut EasyPress
● A Cricut scraper tool

How to Use Cricut Maker to Make Personalized Apparel?

Finally, we are here to learn the process of creating personalized T-shirts. So, before we move on to the final steps, measure your blank so that you can create an appropriate design. So, let’s check how to use Cricut Maker for beginners.

Step 1: Upload an SVG File to Cricut Design Space

In the first and foremost step, you’ll need to upload your SVG design file to the Cricut software. If you want, you can create a design manually as well. Once you’re ready, just resize your design and make it fit to your blank.
As you’ll have to print this image, ensure that your Cricut machine will recognize it as a printable file and not a file to be cut. To ensure this, choose your image and hit the Flatten option beneath the Layers Panel.
After that, your Cricut machine will show a preview of the image. When you’re ready, just click the Make It button. And now, this design will go through a Print Then Cut feature. To access it, hit the Continue button.
In the next step, you’re allowed to send that image to your inkjet printer and select the paper type you want to print on. I prefer specialty matte. You can select one based on your printer. Get ready with your printer and insert the Siser EasyColor DTV into it.

Step 2: Start Cutting the Siser EasyColor DTV

In the following step, you’ll need to cut your material. On your Cricut machine, select your material as Premium Vinyl Permanent Glossy and set the pressure to More using the drop-down menu.
Next, load your vinyl material on the Cricut mat at the left-side corner and make it stick to the mat using a brayer tool. Now, load the mat with vinyl into the Cricut machine and hit the Play button to allow your Cricut to cut the image. Continue with the steps to learn how to use Cricut Maker.
Once the cut is done, take off the paper sheet from your mat, turn the mat over, and take the mat away from your DTV. Please note that you don’t have to peel off the DTV from the mat. You can also use a pair of scissors to cut the design if necessary.

Step 3: Weed Out the Excess Vinyl

Once you cut your design, you should weed out the excess vinyl from your design. Do this carefully, so that your design doesn’t ruin. This step will add more detail to your project.
Note: DTV material is light and fragile and can easily be pulled back from the sheet. Hence, you may need to cover it with a mask to prevent it from pulling away and not sticking again.

Step 4: Cover Your Image With a Mask

Since, you know that your design needs a mask to prevent itself from damage. I’ll recommend you to use the Siser EasyMask. Although, I struggled a bit, but soon I grasped the trick to use it.
Moving forward, cut your mask to the size of your design. Now, take off the transparent film from the mask and then apply the mask alone to your DTV image. Moreover, ensure that the final design is flat and that there are no air gaps between the mask and the design.
Afterward, scrape off the final design using a scraper tool. Use that tool on both sides of your design and then peel it away from your design.

Step 5: Transfer Your Design to Apparel

Then, you have your design covered with a transfer mask. It’s time to preheat your apparel using an EasyPress to a temperature of 340 F. To prevent your apparel from excessive heating, you can take a pillow and use it between the garment layers. After that, preheat your apparel for about 15 seconds before you finally transfer the design.
After preheating, you can add the final design on your onesie. Plus, again apply heating for 30 seconds, and this time you’ll finally transfer the design. After pressing the design for sometime, take away the mask sheet from the apparel. Make sure that your vinyl sticks perfectly to the apparel.
This design is so amazing; I love making it. This is how to use Cricut Maker to reap good results. All the best to all of you who are keen to make something unique and precise.

FAQs

How to Use a Cricut Maker to Make Shirts?

To create a shirt with your Cricut cutting machine, you’ll need to use the Cricut Design Space and a heating press to create a desired design. Get started with the Cricut software, make a design, resize it, and then print and cut it with your Cricut machine. Now, weed away the excess vinyl, and then preheat it with your Cricut heat press, and give a final heat to it.

Which Heat Press Is Suitable for Making an Iron-on Cricut Project?

As there are many options to create an iron-on Cricut project, you can use any of them depending on your requirements. So, the common machines are Cricut EasyPress, Cricut EasyPress 2 & 3, Cricut EasyPress Mini, etc. You can utilize a heat press to transfer the design to your apparel effortlessly.

Can You Use Regular Iron With a Cricut Machine?

Yes, you can. A regular iron is also effective for your minimalist iron-on projects. However, a regular iron may not deliver the results you want and not give a permanent design. Overall, we can say you can use a household iron for normal, sensitive projects but not for complex projects.

2024.05.13 07:43 Reasonable-Life7087 Anand Karj - My suggestion for Maryada

I see a lot of times Anand Karj is done just to add “authenticity” (i.e. culture) to Punjabi Weddings. In many cases, neither bride nor groom know anything of Sikhs except that want their wedding done by Guru Granth Sahib because they want to add cultural flavor to their big day celebrations, appease their parents, or both. One piece that gets missed is that Guru Granth Sahib is the center in Anand Karj sanskar, not the bride and groom.
My suggestion to add weight to this sanskar:
The goal is to weed out those who have no faith and are just disrespecting Guru Granth Sahib, and set up some learning goal for Bride and Groom so they will at least learn the basics before they setup new family.
Someone might say that this might reduce number of people using Anand Karj for their weddings. My question to them is if 1) we are in the business of selling this ceremony that we don’t want this number to dip or 2) why do you force the ceremony on those who aren’t religious but are appeasing their parents.
I’m open for learning if I am reading current situation incorrectly.

2024.05.13 00:19 Altruistic-Force-931 Constant Spring Flats Make Me Want To Quit

I have a mountain bike but I use it more like a gravel bike, sticking to paved or light gravel trails, nothing too intense or rocky. I usually do pretty short rides (10-20 miles or less) and would like to get more into cycling and doing longer rides but every spring around this time of year I just get nonstop flat that absolutely ruin the experience. I hate changing an inner tube more than anything else and it always takes me at least half an hour (done it dozens of times at this point, never gotten faster and it's always the most miserable part of maintaining my bike) and makes a huge mess with grease/grime everywhere but this time of year I literally can't go on more than 3 rides without getting another flat and having to repeat the process. We do have some weeds around here such as puncturevine which are known to sometimes pop tires but Im always looking down trying to avoid these plants. It's always my back tire which is a Kenda small block 8, changed from a continental tire that was dry-rotting about a year ago and haven't gone more than a month or two without getting a flat since. It seems like I've heard good things about Kenda tires on this subreddit and other sites but I genuinely cannot imagine any other brand could possibly be any easier to puncture than this. I'm thinking it has to be the tire itself since the punctures are always in different places, always the outside of the tube, and I've never once got a pinch flat in my entire life. Im at the point of genuinely considering solid rubber tires despite everything bad I've heard about them. 20 pounds extra on my bike sounds like heaven compared to being greeted with a flat tire every single time I want to go for a ride. I like cycling but its not even worth it anymore until I figure out how to stop getting flats all the time. Any recommendations of how to prevent these constant flats from happening? Kevlar-lined tires? Tubeless setup? Any recommendations in terms of products or brands would be great. Also, my bike is a bit older so it has 26in wheels, which seem to be a bit harder to find sometimes so tire recommendations offered in that size would be great!

2024.05.11 13:58 FatGoku Tournament Organizers, consider NOT putting up a pot bonus.

IF YOU'RE A TO AND JUST WANT SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE EXTRA MONEY, SKIP TO ~HALFWAY THROUGH THE POST THE FIRST 5 PARAGRAPHS ARE JUST COMPLAINING ABOUT POT BONUSES
Okay I know this is only going to be relevant to like 10 people on this entire subreddit, but I still think it's important and it's something I've wanted to talk about for a long time. In my (and every other top player I've spoken to about this) opinion one of the worst things you can do with money hosting a tournament is having a pot bonus. The idea makes sense, you put up some extra money in the pot which incentivizes top players to come, and then more people come to see / play the top players and the tournament is better, right?
The issues with pot bonuses are 1: They don't properly incentivize top players to come. 2: They don't benefit 95% of the players at the tournament in any real tangible way. 3: Often times a lot of other things at tournaments suffer because of pot bonuses (this one doesn't necessarily have to be the case, but often times is because we live in reality).
For point 1: if there's a big tournament, top players are just gonna show up. For a lot of them it's their passion / job, they naturally want to go to big tournaments. When I was in my prime when melee was my job I was just going to go to 100% of tournaments that had over ~50 entrants that were within a 3 hour drive of me. Adding $200 to the pool or whatever did nothing to get me out there. Similarly as a "retired" player who doesn't play the game for money, there is no amount of money (that's reasonable, if you host a million dollar prize pool tournament hmu I'll go) that'll get me to go to a tournament if I'm not feeling it.
Point 2: This one is easy, the only people who care about pot bonuses are the people who are going to win them (LIKE ME, AND I STILL FUCKING HATE THEM)
Point 3: This could be anecdotal but I feel like I have more data points for going to tournaments than everyone on this planet aside from like <100 people, so I'd like to give myself some credit. Most times there's a juicy pot bonus at a tournament there's a lot of other things that kinda suck about the tournament. Expensive venue fee resulting in fewer overall entrants, shitty venues, no stream setup, stuff like that. It makes sense, if I am spending $500 on a pot bonus it's hard to justify paying a good streamer to come and stream the event.
But FatGoku! I want to make my tournament sick and I have some money to throw at it, what should I do? I am so glad you asked
(All of the lower tiers apply to the higher tiers) If you have a bunch of money to spend >$500: You could try upgrading the venue! Venues are an underrated part of tournaments and can make or break it. You could also try directly flying top players out if that's why you had a pot bonus in the first place. I feel like it's way cooler to fly a top player out that your local scene will get to meet / play with for the first (or maybe only time) instead of giving your local top player a bunch of money.
If you have a good bit of money to spend $200-$500: I think carpool bounties are sick. If you have regions that are a few hours away from each other by drive, offer carpools a gas bounty. "Hey if anyone brings a carpool of 3+ people we will pay for $30 of gas" (numbers will vary) This actively incentivizes more people to come to your tournament! I think trophies / medals are pretty fun too. This falls into the same trap as "only a few people will be effected" but getting a medal for 7th will mean so much more to someone than the $10 extra from the pot they would have gotten. Free consumables make a tournament so much more enjoyable IMO. One of my favorite tournaments of all time was a house tournament where there were bowls of joints and coolers of white claw / beer to take (in a place where weed was legal and also every person was ID'd before entering). I probably drank and smoke ~$10 worth of weed and white claws but I still think of that to this day.
A little bit of money $100> Buy the tournament attendees some food! I'd just buy some pizzas or something! A couple costco pizzas, a couple cases of soda, maybe a family size bag of chips or a pack of oreos and bam, the vibes of the tournament go up a ton.
And lastly, if you're a TO who has hosted a tournament with a pot bonus / were planning on it, please don't feel bad. Tournament Organizers are the back bone of melee and without y'all the scene would not exist. Obviously you're putting money into the pot because you want your tournament to feel special and that is amazing and commendable, so I hope I didn't come off as negative or ungrateful or anything. I just think that your tournaments would bring more joy spending the money in a different way :)

2024.05.11 10:53 SwaggyLemonn Any snail tank recommendations?

Hello everyone! So I wanted to share the items I'm gonna put in my future fish tank! So I want to get a bunch of different good kinds of plants! Here is all of the types of plants I will get: java Moss, java fern, Amazon Sword, Anubias, Water Sprite, Anubias Nana, Moss, Pearl Weed, Bacopa, Dwarf Hair grass, Chain Sword, in total they will cost just over £360 which if the tank ends up looking as good as I imagine then it will be very well worth it, Im gonna get a good heater and sponge filter online, I'm gonna get some rocks for aesthetic purposes. I'm gonna try to get a nice large driftwood piece to put right in the middle of the tank, I'm gonna get alot of natural wood/driftwood tunnels, caves. then I am going to put the sand, rocks, hides and plants in first, let the plants grow for a bit and then put the shrimp in, then snails (after the tank is cycled obviously) and then after a while when the plants shrimp and snails are grown a bit guppies! I really hope it ends up looking as nice as I imagine. Wish me luck! And also feel free to ask any questions about my setup or tank! And give recommendations if you have any, I appreciate any feedback

2024.05.11 06:35 bix0r Upgrade from Mini Vivaldi II

Posting on my wife’s behalf as she’s having difficulty posting in this Reddit. ——————————
Curious about this group's perspective on upgrading from a nice but older Mini Vivaldi II. I hadn't thought much about upgrading until the Lelit Bianca sale caught my eye.
Is the Bianca an upgrade from my older Vivaldi Mini? If not, are there any upgrades (within my price range) worth exploring? My Vivaldi is probably about 12-13 yo. I bought it second hand about 8 years ago. It's in excellent condition and I've never regretted the purchase. But due to its age, it lacks some features - no pre-infusion, doesn't work with a smart plug, etc. The 53 mm group size is an annoyance: for example, my current tamper leaves just a bit of space around the edges. I can mod/buy new accessories, but the cumulative cost adds up, and I don't want to DIY. And I've wondered if all of these prevent me from getting a more consistently good shot. (Overall, my success varies.) It's also gotten more difficult to refill the water tank lately (sticky replacement).
I used to think a 58 mm portafilter's dimensions might pull better shots, but after reading more about the Vivaldi's saturated group, I'm not sure.
Interested me about the Bianca:
Flow control seems interesting to explore Pre-infusion Flexible water tank position and option to switch to plumbed in Rotary pump (seems generally higher quality) 58 mm group (?) Good size (machine is located under a cabinet) I live driving distance from Chris Coffee so service can be found as needed (but it's not so close that it's easy to go pop over and check out machines in person prior to the end of the Bianca sale) Nicer looks (never loved those of the Vivaldi) Don't mind the heat up time - being able to use a smart plug will seem like a luxury Comes with good accessories out of the box, saving money I also started looking at other options. Most Bianca competitors seem to cost around $3K. It's not appealing to spend $1K more for (apparently) not much difference in the machine. $4K (e.g. LM Micra) is the absolute outside range (and I'm not sure about the Micra's app, tight space, or its missing features). I wouldn't go any higher than that right now.
Other related info:
I don't like apps I am a casual user; I try to dial in and improve my shots, but won't be diving into the deep weeds. I weigh my beans and shots, time shots, use a WDT. I usually drink 1-2 lattes a day, occasional espressos or Americanos. I use fresh beans from Blue Bottle. My grinder is a Macap M4, which came with the Vivaldi - also old, with an annoying doser, and huge, but the grind is probably as good as I'll need. I'm not expecting an "end-gamer" but would want to use a machine for 5-10 years at least Vivaldi is my first really nice machine (used to have a Silvia/Rocky setup). Thanks for your thoughts!

2024.05.11 05:32 Gullible_Heron_6123 Beginner garden advice

I have only done a bit of vege growing at our old house and never really used fertilizer, compost, checked ph levels etc. Use the tui calender and planning square foot gardening. Wanting as low of a maintenace setup as possible while still wanting to become a bit of a lifelong gardener. If this means a very not perfect garden it's ok as long as it's decent and I'm sure I'll slowly learn but it's a bit intimidating for me to start. Will do regular weeding/trimming etc. but just want the process to be a bit semi-automatic Wanting any feedback about what I've done and am planning and any advice. Am in Hamilton.
I have built a 10m x .9m wide garden facing north along a fenceline at ground level. I dug out the dirt and filled in 50/50 garden mix from a landscaping yard and the soil that was in some old unused raised garden beds that were here when we bought the house. Have put a weeper hose on a timer going along the garden and back again essentially splitting the width into 30cm segments to help with square foot gardening. Have a decent size compost area we plan to use. Hoping to grow 20 or so different types of veges.
Do i mix a thick layer of compost through yearly?
Does the garden mix i bought mean it wont need compost for a while yet? What about fertilizer?
Seems like veges have different watering requirements, will i be ok with my automatic even watering setup just averaging it out?
Can i similiarly just use a general fertilizer on everything every however often (Fortnightly? Monthly?) Or do i really need to research all veges and buy multiple types and fertilize different veges at different intervals?
What about pests? Is there similiarly 1 or 2 products i could buy and quickly spray everywhere at regular intervals to eliminate most?
I want to direct sow what i can for ease but what veges should i not bother trying to direct sow?
Do i need to add mulch on top? Should i put it all over? What about where i will be planting seeds?
Thanks for any help!

2024.05.10 20:22 auntjeremimah Internal Pentesting Best Practices

I just started a job as a pentester. My responsibilities will be with applications and network pentesting. The only problem is my department and position are new. They have never had an internal pentest and were using consultants for application pentesting. No one else knows what the best practices are for an internal pentester and neither do I since this is my first pentesting job. What are best practices as far as setting up my environment? It seems having all of my tools local on my laptop/kali vm seems like a terrible idea? Should I have them setup an internal VM? I'm lost in the weeds on this and would love some advice on how other companies have this setup. We are going to have a meeting next week with my manager, GRC, SOC, etc., to discuss all of this so I want to be prepared.

2024.05.10 17:33 Ok-Anteater9173 Advice For Best Plants. Dwarf Baby Tears?

First timer here. I've done a lot of research on vampire crabs and trying to setup a habitat for them. I bought a 10 gallon tank and want a planted paludarium. I've thought of carpeting the soil if that's a good idea. And duck weed for water portion. Can someone give advice on plants that the crabs would enjoy? Dwarf baby tears seem very beautiful but I wonder if the crabs would prefer some kind of moss carpet instead. Java moss doesnt look as pretty but seem easier to grow. Any insight would be appreciated. Never done planted before. Only ever had basic betta aquariums in the past.

2024.05.10 16:05 TheDocsCrocs [Question] Advice requested on daily task optimization and planning for new work/living scenario

I recently signed a multi-year contract for a position several hours away. There is a definite end date and we currently live where we intend to be for the rest of our lives. My wife will be staying on the farm because the city I’m going to be working in is incredibly dangerous, doubly so for her due to the nature of her work. I plan to stay nights for my job when necessary, 20-23 days a month starting out, and driving home to stay the other 7-10 days each month. I’ll have several weeks worth of vacation and a 1-2 fewer shifts per month each year as I progress.
Now we are staring down several years where I won’t be here every morning and night to pull my share. I have about two more months before my start date and I finally have time to cut a few pages off our ‘to do’ list. For better or worse, our longest-term plans for the land are largely on hold for 3-4 years regardless of where I would have ended up in the interim. In that time our medium-term goals are to gradually scale up our small livestock and work on infrastructure as finances (and my limited time off) permit. For the short-term, I’ve so far been focusing on trying to simplify and/or minimize the day-to-day as much as possible for my wife going forward. Some examples:
  1. putting up permanent fences around our garden/berry patch/orchard/vineyard to better keep out wildlife (and less wild life like our dogs) and minimize the need to keep the grass around the perimeters as low as possible to prevent electrical fence shorts.
  2. deeply mulching our fruit trees, berry bushes, grape vines, and veggie garden to cut down on insane weed burden and progress towards no-till in the above areas.
  3. setting up a lawn care service to check in at least once a month to help keep things from getting out of control.
  4. getting large gravity feeders for our dogs that only need topping off once a week or so, and likewise setting up automatically refilling water troughs.
  5. reducing small indoor things that eat up time to once a day tasks by setting up things like a roomba-type vacuum for ground floor pet hair, dishwasher install where we previously washed all by hand, and self-scooping litter box (that works shockingly well for our multi-cat home!)
I’ve also addressed less physically tangible life things like annual medical/vision/dental appointments and vet visits for our animals, set up all our shared bills on autopay, legal things including advance directives and living wills and POAs, and worked on preventative maintenance for our vehicles and equipment. Now working to fix all of our broken down stuff (and in the process breaking something else every day LOL, so it goes) and planning to work more on clearing the overgrown brush around our house and taking care of other general clean-up tasks - metal to scrap yard, cardboard to recycling, selling or scrapping what I can’t get running, etc. We’ve caught up with nearby family and community friends, and have been going on date nights every other week. We also have a quick getaway trip planned for next month.
I guess my question is what else could/should I be doing to ease the transition as much as possible? My wife’s job has been really stressful lately on top of anticipation about this big change for our situation, and I just want to know what else you might be thinking about for short-term if you were in our shoes. In the medium-term we want to add more poultry to our existing setup, possibly a couple hogs, and bees over the next 2 years. Is there anything you’ve implemented on your homestead that made a noticeable difference in day-to-day workflow, or something you’ve been meaning to do that I may have overlooked? Appreciate any input!

Step 1: Create a Design in Cricut Design Space

To start, you’ll need to launch your Cricut Design Space software and hit the New Project option. Now, you’ll need to add an image or a text that you want as a final outcome. As Design Space offers you a huge library of images and pre-made designs, it’s quite easy to design anything. Also, you can upload an external file to Canvas.
You can explore all the features of the Design Space. Once you’re satisfied with the design, hit the green “Continue” button.

Step 2: Load Your Vinyl on the Cricut Mat

In this step, you need to place the Cricut StandardGrip mat on a clean, flat surface. Also, take off the plastic covers from the sheet. Now, load the vinyl on your mat, aligning the vinyl with the Cricut mat’s grid lines. Once the vinyl is fixed in place, smooth it down with a scraper tool.
This step will remove all the air bubbles between your Cricut mat and the vinyl.
Moving forward, load your mat into the Cricut machine. Plus, align the edges of your mat with the grid lines. Finally, hit the Load button to load your mat into the machine.

Step 3: Select the Material

I hope you’re learning how to use vinyl on Cricut well with this guide. Moving forward with the next step, choose a material to be cut. For instance, which type of material vinyl you are using - Temporary, permanent or anything else.
To do this, continue with the on-screen prompts to select the Base Material. After that, select the vinyl settings from the options. In case you don’t see your material on the list, hit Browse All Materials to check out the full list.
After selecting the right material, just hit the Go button to start the cutting process.

Step 4: Weed Out Excess Vinyl

Once you get your cut vinyl, it’s time to hit the Load button to unload your Cricut mat. Now, you’ll get the vinyl in the shape you wanted. Remove the excess of vinyl from it using a weeding tool. This tool will remove all the tiny leftovers gracefully leaving the original design untouched
This method is crucial to give a good finishing to your final project. Once you’re ready with the further steps. Let’s check all of them.

Step 5: Prepare Your Blank

You’ve come here after a long way. So, now you need to prepare the surface of your project with a rubbing alcohol and cotton. This step removes all the dirt, dust and lint from the surface leaving a smooth surface for final vinyl transfer.
Here, I’m using a mug. Let’s wipe it with alcohol and cotton. Let it dry, and continue with the vinyl transfer.

Step 6: Apply Transfer Tape to Your Vinyl

In this step, cut a transfer tape slightly larger than your vinyl design. Next, peel off the paper backing from the transfer tape. Then, apply the transfer tape on your vinyl design in alignment with the grid lines to keep the design straight.
After that, burnish the transfer tape on your vinyl using a scraper tool. This step will help you transfer your vinyl design smoothly.

Step 7: Peel off the Transfer Tape

In this step, carefully peel off the transfer tape from your vinyl’s backing. Ensure that the transfer tape is lifting away smoothly from the backing paper. If it doesn’t happen, you may need to burnish the transfer tape once again.

Step 8: Apply Your Vinyl Design to the Final Project

It’s the final step for transferring your vinyl to the final project. Check if your design is aligned properly on your transfer tape. Once the design is in the correct position, press the vinyl to stick it to the final project. Also, you can use a scraper to burnish the design. Apply the scraper tool all over the vinyl design.

Step 9: Take off Your Transfer Tape

You know how to use vinyl on Cricut. Now, in the final step, just gently peel off the transfer tape away from your project. Ensure that you pull it away at an angle of 45 degrees. Then, the transfer tape will be removed, and the design will be left.
