So I am class of 2024 and back then I graduated middle school through a car due to COVID and now this year I won’t be walking on stage. Back story is that I was doing really well as a sophomore and I was enjoying school but then I had to move from California to Arizona not going into details on why but it was a stupid and horrible decision my parents have made. So they put me in a program that was horrible didn’t even have good communication with the teachers so I had to drop out you could say.
Now it’s 2024 and I’m going to use penn foster or go to a school nearby that does GED programs. Now I’m back in Cali I moved back last year and I was supposed to go to a school again but they couldn’t accept me cause of some reasons I do not remember. Now you are probably like “why didn’t you go to physical school in Arizona?” I was no where near a high school where I was living the nearest high school was 30 min away and they wouldn’t let me register anyways.
So besides that I follow some of my old friends and they all went to prom, gradnite, senior activities and they graduate on the 5th. Me I just sit at home and try to work and do house chores along with studying so now I sit and watch as all my old friends be successful and graduate walk that stage with their families cheering while i do nothing. Also I’m Mexican and black so Mexican part of the family is the ones I live closer too and i really wanted to make them proud but all I’ve done is fail them. now they do nothing but compare me to cousins who have been successful plus are graduating.
What I’m really trying to say it should I say fuck it buy a cap and gown take pictures and celebrate like I did it? Some say it’s dumb but i just want to fit in it’s really not my fault I have tried everything and now I have to wait for my parents to help me get this course In penn foster or something.
I really am thinking of just celebrating then getting my actual diploma next month or something I just need some answers if this is a dumb idea or should I just go with it.

Not really sure if this is the right sub for this, but hopefully I could get some helpful insights.
Let me start by saying I'm a Christian, not very active but I strongly believe in this faith.
That said, ever since I can remember I've always had this ability to see things in my dreams, and after the 3rd death (my Mom's) I'm done being in denial. I've dreamt of 5 people's death, and most recently a beloved pet's, which all came true. The dreams don't exactly show them dying, but rather they show sceneries or circumstances related to them, which undoubtly has the air of death. These dreams happened within the span of years, from my elementary days until recently, I'm in my late 30s. I've also had random dreams coming true, which causes countless deja vu moments... i.e. dreams about what a location looks like way before I even thought of going there; the birth of my nephews and nieces before their own Moms even knew they were pregnant, etc.
I can also predict some small things about people through touch, and I must say I'm pretty good at it. I can't do that to myself or siblings though.
I noticed I can only get predictions about myself and family through dreams.
Also, I often feel that this ability is quite useless overall. I may have an idea that someone will die, but can I really do something to stop it? Why can't I dream of lottery winning numbers instead!?
The really good dreams/premonitions are few and have yet to happen, not really sure if they will even happen.
From time to time, I find myself conflicted of this ability. Do I go to my local pastor and get exorcised or something, or do I practice and improve it, although it goes against my faith?

I've also had random dreams coming true, which causes countless deja vu moments... i.e. dreams about what a location looks like way before I even thought of going there; the birth of my nephews and nieces before their own Moms even knew they were pregnant, etc.
I can also predict some small things about people through touch, and I must say I'm pretty good at it. I can't do that to myself or siblings though.
I noticed I can only get predictions about myself and family through dreams.
Also, I often feel that this ability is quite useless overall. I may have an idea that someone will die, but can I really do something to stop it? Why can't I dream of lottery winning numbers instead!?
The really good dreams/premonitions are few and have yet to happen, not really sure if they will even happen.
From time to time, I find myself conflicted of this ability. Do I go to my local pastor and get exorcised or something, or do I practice and improve it, although it goes against my faith?

So what is boredom? The wise would say that it's the continual refusal to become oneself or what one is meant to be while most would say it's just feeling bad, feeling unmotivated or just tired with life, specifically the monotonous side of it.
What do people do when bored? They become dull, inactive and just want to do activities that ensure that they remain in a state of inertia. Activities like sitting in the house, scrolling the media, listening to music all day, and maybe just sitting down and thinking (kujihurumia tu). These are activities that require the least energy yet they help with passing the time.
So is boredom a bad thing? Yes it is, cause it makes our lives stagnant since we are not active hence not moving anything, remember action is equal to reaction hence if you don't offer any opposing force then nothing will move.
But is it totally bad? Not really. You see boredom just like depression helps you reflect on the state of things. It is during this reflection that one notices that they are things in one's life that are not the way one would wish them to be. One then makes a choice to change these things since the alternative is living in this state of boredom which is very very unbearable. Yes I said it, people often make the decision to change their lives once they've had a taste of it's opposite.

For many years, I took the train to work. A fellow commuter (I’ll call her Jane) endlessly complained about the poor punctuation of the service. Jane was intent on claiming as much compensation as she could from the train operator. To that end, every day she recorded on a spreadsheet how late her trains were. She was due to go on holiday and asked if I would keep a note of delays during the week. Reluctantly, I agreed. When Jane returned from holiday, she asked me for an update. However, I had totally forgotten to keep a record. Rather than admit my oversight, I told her the trains had run perfectly on time through the week. It had never happened before. Jane, as you can image, was delighted. She did not ask me again. I often think, if I’m too happy then Jane could sort me out.
I love seeing people use things I build. A combination of commercial and IT skills enabled me to develop a tool that significantly improves the way my corporate colleagues work.
I struggled at school. Maths and woodwork were the only things I was good at. In my 30s, I discovered books and embraced the idea of life long learning. I am working my way up Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. I am particularly enjoy learning new things and sharing my understanding with other, e.g. via this blog.
While incredibly fortunate, I have faced many setbacks, including redundancy and the death of my mum and a close friend. Pragmatic optimism and a supportive network helped me. I feel more resilient and grounded, having come through these challenges.

At Reading station I sought help and an ambulance was called. At the scene, paramedics used an ECG to check my heart. I was then taken to the local hospital for further tests. After an overnight stay, I was told my heart was healthy and I could go home. Subsequently, I went to my GP who told me the likely cause of the pain was related to some DIY I had undertaken. Since that event, I have not taken my health for granted. Daily walks help me stay happy and healthy.

To understand the importance of what’s at stake we have to start with the basics. For right now I’ll focus on the federal side of the election as I think that’s what most want to learn more about (I’ll bring up state-level issues later; they can still affect the result).
The Mexican federal system is tripartite, divided in the usual way – the President is the executive, the Supreme Court being the figurehead for the judicial branch, and Congress through both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate representing the legislative.
The President is elected via FPTP for only one term lasting six years, called a sexenio. There hasn’t been much actual innovation in the process of voting for the President, aside from the notable shifts in voting tendencies every six years since the 2000 election, which ended the 71-year-long run of the PRI in power. The current president is Andrés Manuel López Obrador, or AMLO as he’s commonly known, elected in 2018.
The Senate is composed of 128 senators. 96 of these come from a majority system and 32 are elected via national proportional representation party lists. Of the 96 majority senators, 64 are elected as winning pairs in each of the 32 states, known as the “first and second formulas.” The remaining 32 are the “first minority” winners, in other words the second placers in the Senate elections. This, alongside the PR senators, is supposed to even the playing field for opposition parties. Senate elections are concurrent with presidential ones, also lasting six years, but they are able to be reelected for one term more.
The Chamber of Deputies, meanwhile, is composed of 500 deputies. 300 of these are the FPTP winners of each of the 300 electoral districts nationwide. The other 200 are PR party-list deputies divided between 5 circumscriptions, or at-large districts. These districts are roughly equivalent in population and roughly represent the 5 main regions of the country – western Mexico, headed by Guadalajara, northern Mexico, headed by Monterrey, southeastern Mexico, headed by Xalapa, the capital of Veracruz, south-central Mexico, headed by Mexico City, and southwestern Mexico, headed by Toluca the capital of Mexico State. Deputy elections are every three years; an elected deputy is able to get reelected for three more terms. These reelection changes were set into law with the 2014 political-electoral reform package and came into practice in 2018 for the 2021 elections, the first time any federal-level politician was allowed to run for continuous reelection since the Mexican Revolution.
All these elections are managed by the National Electoral Institute (INE, its acronym in Spanish). The INE is, quite literally, a superpowered FEC – aside from the basic role of taking note of who is campaigning for what, it controls ballot access, it manages campaign ad times on TV to the second, it makes sure that candidates do not say anything that can be out of electoral law, it sets up the format and the broadcasting of debates…it is the reason that Mexican elections flow (relatively) smoothly.
Alongside the INE stand the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF) and the OPLEs, the Local Electoral Public Organisms, creating the entire Mexican electoral system. The Tribunal, as you can guess, is where affected parties (in the legal sense) can go dispute any potential circumstance that affects them. During campaign season this is mostly just “candidate X was a meanie to me – candidate Y” type affairs, but post-election its importance ramps up as it helps resolve close calls in elections – something people say will be especially important this time around. The OPLEs are mini-INEs for each of the 32 states, managing the electoral matters of localities and replicating the faculties of the INE for local elections.
The Mexican electoral system is complex out of post-uniparty distress. Before the IFE (the INE’s precursor), elections were handled by a commission under the purview of the Secretary of Government. You can guess where this goes. It was one of the main ways the PRI held power for so long – elections were free but unfair. During the 1990s when the Mexican system liberalized the creation of an independent electoral agency was one of the main goals, and as far as creating the conditions for fair elections, over the five full sexenios it has existed since 1990, I’d say it has generally succeeded.
The main characters of elections, however, are obviously not the institutions, but the political actors themselves through political parties. This election, there’s seven of them at play.
THE PARTIES (AND THEIR COALITIONS)
For the 2024 election, the seven parties running are divided into two main coalitions and one running a single candidate – Fuerza y Corazón por México, composed by the PRI, PAN and PRD, Sigamos Haciendo Historia, with Morena, PVEM and PT, and Movimiento Ciudadano.
Fuerza y Corazón por México (Strength and Heart for Mexico)
The opposition coalition, composed of the National Action Party (PAN), the Revolutionary Institutional Party (PRI), and the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD). A big-tent coalition, center-left to center-right. Their candidate is former Senator Xóchitl Gálvez.
PAN – The opposition by excellence. Founded in the 40s by a group of lawyers, doctors and other professionals to serve as a balance to the nationalistic policies of the PRI from back then. Due to the Mexican system, it only controlled some municipalities until the election of their first governor in 1989, and from there on, winning the presidency with Vicente Fox in 2000 and repeating with Felipe Calderón in 2006. “Humanistic” according to their doctrine, but conservative according to many you’d ask. More so in the Christian democratic tradition, but their party is still a big tent – from reactionary firebrands like Senator Lilly Téllez to progressive pro-market types like Xóchitl herself.
PRI – The former Mexican dominant party, now a shell of its former self. With 71 years of one-party rule that ended dramatically in 2000, the PRI has shapeshifted over the decades. From standard-bearers of the post-revolutionary cause to nationalistic expropriators, from technocratic liberators to Congressional opposition, from centrist reformers to a second place in this coalition of unequals, it has somehow managed to survive when people announce its demise. With how coalitions are structured in ballots, the desertion of its former clientelist and syndicalist bases to Morena, and the constant kick-outs and self-exiles of politicians who don’t agree with the current party president, however, who knows how many more times the PRI can cheat death before it’s truly over.
PRD – A party that began with a bang and is ending with a whimper. Created from the aftermath of the 1988 election where many believed (and still do) that left-wing candidate Cuauhtemoc Cardenas had his victory stolen, the PRD was, until a few years ago, really a front itself of multiple left-wing groups that constantly squabbled amongst each other. Its main political bastion was Mexico City, where it governed continuously from 1997 to 2018, and southern Mexico in general. Many of its former members and voters moved on to Morena, leaving the party in the hands of a few groups trying to keep it alive. Already it lost its registry in several states, and it’s close to do so nationwide. This might be its last election the PRD runs in.
Sigamos Haciendo Historia (Let’s Keep Making History)
The governing coalition, composed of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM), and the Labor Party (PT). Leftist/populist, their candidate is former Mexico City mayor Claudia Sheinbaum.
Morena – AMLO’s personal project, it first started as one of the many groups inside the PRD, only to then spin off when he broke off from that party after the 2012 elections, becoming a civil association in 2013 and officially a party a year later. With AMLO at the forefront, the party got its big break in 2018 by winning the presidency, a majority in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, and several governorships. Only more wins came after that in more states – currently, it holds the governor’s seat in 21 of the 32. Morena’s ideology is…confusing. It can best be described as a populist platform, with a typical class-battle message and lots of focus on marginalized communities of all types. However, it doesn’t really attempt that through typical leftist means, like raising taxes on the wealthy. Instead, it goes for a vaguely Norquistian “starve the beast” method, with the reasoning that governmental and economic power have been connected for too long. Austerity is the name of the game, at least on that end. These saved funds are then channeled to voters through its main policy proposal – social programs. Pensions for old people, student scholarships, disability checks…direct cash transfers and the clientele they bring are what the party’s become best at. Add onto them the syndicalist and rural structures that its brought onto the fold from the PRI and you can see where exactly it’s obtained so much goodwill (and votes) from.
Green Party (PVEM) – The most questionable party in a political scene already filled with questionable actors, the Green Party can be summed up in one word – controversy. Founded by a former PRI member in 1986, it limped along until somehow in the 90s it started getting votes. After that, it found its calling – being the willing coalition partner for any party that needs votes. In 2000 it aligned with the PAN to help elect Fox, from 2003 to 2018 it was in a long relationship with the PRI, and in 2019 it became a proud Morena ally. Over the years, it has championed such pro-environment proposals as: burning trash to generate electricity, giving medicine vouchers to families, and the death penalty! Wait a minute, weren’t these guys green? Ehhhh…the founder’s son once said that “they represented interests, not the ecology,” and the European Greens outright stripped the party its official designation of Being Green (TM). Aside from that, they’re known for a small scandal of TV celebrities being spokespeople for them in movie theater ads, a small scandal of an unauthorized resort development in Cancun, a small scandal of a murder of a Bulgarian model in a party…the Greens have been called “the worst of the worst” in Mexican politics. Rightfully so?
Labor Party (PT) – The PT is a party that, to be quite frank with y’all, dear readers, I don’t understand how (or to be more precise, why) it still exists. Formed in 1990 by a group of various left-wing and agrarian organizations, the PT has a typical leftist-socialist ideology, but never much actual presence nationally aside from being the coalition partner of the PRD or Morena. It’s tried running its own candidates for governors, but they never went anywhere – all its governorships have been as part of a coalition. It’s also only ever had its own presidential candidate once, in 1994 with Cecilia Soto – she obtained 4th place with a little less than a million votes. It has never been a highly voted party – in deputy elections, the most it obtained was in the 2009 midterms with about 3.7% of the vote. Last midterm, it reached 1.14%. It already escaped the loss of its registry in 2015 thanks to the goodwill of the PRD and MC in annulling an election. Who knows if it can this time?
Finally, there's Movimiento Ciudadano, with Jorge Álvarez Máynez as their candidate.
Movimiento Ciudadano (Citizens’ Movement) – Originally Convergencia in 1999, MC describes itself as social-democratic. They're a more modern left compared to the governing coalition, showing throughout the years proposals on urbanism, federalism, and a focus on GSMs. While for most of its existence it was another minor party that’d run in alliance with the PRD, MC shook up the scene in 2018 by winning the governorship and most municipalities in the state of Jalisco with Enrique Alfaro, followed by the 2021 meme-based winning campaign of Samuel García in Nuevo León. Samuel’s specifically set the tone for how MC would start running – flashy campaigns with candidates boasting about them being “the new politics” (debatable). Right now, the party is at an important fork, depending on how its first-ever homegrown presidential candidate Máynez does. If he reaches a good percentage of votes, MC will have the chance to be kingmaker in Congress, setting themselves up in a good position for the next elections. But if too many voters decide to go for one of the coalitions, the decision to run solo might accidentally have been the party’s downfall.

I have not felt welcomed by a lot of communities including the LGBT community. As a gay man I have felt like it’s an expectation to be apart of the community because I am gay. I do not feel the need to identify with any communities because of what I am. Being apart of communities means having to stand by and deal with controversies within that community. I disagree with some things in the LGBT community and as a result I stay away and do not actively seek individuals or spaces whom may identify as being part of the community. I also do not discuss my opinions, politics, and controversies as they may cause arguments and debates which make me uncomfortable. When I do discuss my opinions I am often met with backlash and then outcasted because people disagree with my opinions. It seems if I do not agree with the community and their values that I am not welcome and never will be. I think this reasoning can be applied to multiple communities and not just the LGBT community.
I am a logical thinker and make most of my decisions based on logic. I have autism and I think this has something to do with my reasoning. I understand that this post may seem vague and lacking context but that is on purpose as I am trying not to state strong opinions which can be argued. I am not trying to start an argument but rather seeking individuals who may relate to this post.

Miscellaneous Jujutsu
- Cursed energy reserves and output – Confirmed by Yuta Okkotsu, who possesses the second highest cursed energy reserves of any known sorcerer, Sukuna's store of energy is mounds higher, exceeding double Yuta's. His output is also nothing shy of monstrous, likely only losing out to Ryu Ishigoori whose claim to fame is having the highest CE output of any sorcerer in history. Making matters worse for his opponents is his tremendous efficiency, another aspect in which he is second only to one other. Even without the Six Eyes, the only means of attaining efficiency greater than his, his ability to spontaneously activate cursed techniques with minimal consumption of energy allows him to chain back-to-back Domain Expansions without concern.
- Reverse Cursed Technique – Not technically a cursed technique, but rather an application of cursed energy manipulation where one multiplies two pools of negative energy together to create positive energy, which can then be used to regenerate human flesh. Unlike Satoru Gojo, Sukuna does not possess Cursed Technique Reversal, but this does not mean his use of RCT is any less impressive. In fact, it is often considered more advanced due to the following:
- External RCT - By using another human's cursed energy to synthesize positive energy, Sukuna can heal bodies other than his own. So far, he has only ever demonstrated this ability on Megumi, though in this case it was strong enough to recover his body from fatal wounds, meaning it is vastly superior to Shoko's in output and effectiveness.
- Healing a destroyed brain – Just as Gojo learned to do, Sukuna is capable of destroying a portion of his brain responsible for maintaining cursed techniques and recovering it with reverse technique in order to more quickly regain access to his technique.
- Domain Amplification – In order to neutralize the effect of an opponent's cursed technique (namely Infinity), Sukuna shrouds himself in the empty shell of a domain, and by not imbuing a cursed technique into it he leaves room for another technique to occupy the space and have its effect canceled out. Because he needs to leave space to funnel his opponent's technique into the domain shell, he cannot use the cursed technique engraved on his body at the same time as Amplification, but if a technique is granted to a barrier via Domain Expansion then he can use it in sync with Amplification. Sukuna also demonstrates a specialized capacity to "pause" a technique's effect when beginning Domain Amplification, demonstrated when bearing the burden of Mahoraga's adaptation to Infinity and Blue between uses of Amplification.
- Hollow Wicker Basket – A predecessor to New Shadow Style's Simple Domain that spreads out a woven, hollow sphere which interferes with a domain's barrier and prevents the sure-hit effect from landing. It is largely inferior to Simple Domain for a plethora of reasons, including;
- Hollow Wicker Basket must be constantly maintained using the hand seal and chants, while Simple Domain only requires maintenance at activation time
- Due to not being a domain, HWB does not grant the buff or debuff properties present in Simple Domain or a true domain. This means it cannot reduce the output of cursed techniques making contact with it in the same way an advanced Simple Domain such as Kusakabe's can
- The more advanced barrier of Simple Domain allows the incorporation of automatic programming for reflexive movement, most commonly seen in sword-drawing techniques. This is a capability entirely lacking in Hollow Wicker Basket
- Despite these glaring issues, Sukuna had little time or care to upgrade to Simple Domain as his own Domain Expansion was more than satisfactory for any domain in the past.
- Black Flash – When cursed energy impacts a target less than one millionth of a second following a physical blow, space distorts and flashes black. The effects of pulling off a Black Flash include awakening to the composition of one's cursed energy and entering an elevated state of performance. Once a single Black Flash has been landed, it becomes measurably easier for a sorcerer to enter a sort-of flow state and chain several together. Sukuna has performed at least four during the ṛaid in the remains of Shinjuku, and after doing so was able to construct a unique relay for Domain Expansion in his brain (more on that later).
- The cursed tools Kamutoke and Hiten – These tools were originally wielded by Sukuna during his rule of the Heian era. Their power is unquantifiable, but high enough that they are nigh uncontested by modern tools. Kamutoke is the only one of the two whose effect was demonstrated in battle when Sukuna used a replica created by Yorozu. It creates a massive electrostatic discharge with destructive properties equivalent to a lightning strike. This cursed tool would have enabled Sukuna to deal far more damage to the sorcerers allied with Jujutsu High had it not been seized in Higuruma's domain.
- Cursed object transmutation – Thanks to his colluding with Kenjaku a millennium ago, Sukuna has gained the ability to sunder his soul into cursed objects which can then reincarnate in a compatible vessel if the two become one. He can either divvy the soul up into several parts or dope the entire conscience and cursed energy pool into a single object, but either way his object of choice is his fingers. If Sukuna has already incarnated in a compatible vessel and hence gained conscience, other fingers will not be able to incarnate separate instances of Sukuna and will instead serve as nothing more than cursed energy stores. There is no evidence to suggest that Sukuna's power is restored logarithmically when reconvening with sundered fingers. Instead, he most likely gains back an equal amount of cursed energy for each object ingested.
- Properties as an incarnated cursed object – After incarnating in a human vessel, Sukuna gains access to their memories, as he shares their brain when operating the body. The result of this is that extensively using his Jujutsu while in a vessel can leave an imprint on it in the form of cursed techniques. This is what enabled Yuji to learn Shrine after awakening with Black Flash. The reverse is also true, however, as Sukuna is more than capable of using the techniques of a body he is incarnated in to compliment his own. Lastly, completing the incarnation and manifesting his original form only replaces the body's external shell – any damage sustained to internal organs of the host will persist. This also means that even though full incarnation makes it more difficult, the cursed object and host can still be torn apart with enough brute force. This is what would have happened if Megumi had contributed to Yuta and Yuji's plan during chapter 251 were it not for his resolve being entirely squashed. Lastly and most bizarrely, Sukuna seems freely capable of deforming his vessels so long as he maintains control of their body, as he did in order to bite off Hana's right arm in chapter 213.
- Dismantle – The default slash Sukuna seems to prefer using. The technique sends an invisible slash or array of slashes flying through the air, cutting whatever it can reach until its cursed energy is exhausted. While it is extremely effective at decomposing inanimate objects and weaker humans, its potency is the lowest of any of Sukuna's techniques. As eloquently put in another comment, the reason Gojo's Six Eyes do not enable him to see Dismantle is because having the ability to perceive fluctuations at an atomic level means nothing if the fluctuations aren't visible – a microscope cannot make gravity visible no matter how close it zooms. Maki's heavenly restriction enables her to see the effect of the slash by the deformations it creates on the surface of air and surrounding objects, but she cannot see the slashes themselves.
- The World-Splitting Dismantle – A version of Dismantle that, instead of throwing slashes at something, expands the intended target for the slash to the entire metaphysical space the target is located in. This allows it to bypass everything from cursed energy reinforcement to cursed techniques to any other conventional defense. However, in order to hit Gojo instantly without warning, he used a Binding Vow that would prevent him from ever using the slash again without the hand seal accompanied by the chants "Scale of the Dragon. Recoil. Twin Meteors." finally followed by pointing with his fingers the direction in which the slash should fly.

- Cleave – A technique that activates on physical contact with its target, automatically adjusting its output and frequency of slashes to cut them down in a single strike. The two main properties it accounts for are cursed energy reinforcement and physical toughness, the latter of which not usually being an issue for Sukuna. However, when his output is severely weakened as it was in Yuta's domain or when his target's cursed energy reinforcement is too high to overcome (Gojo's) Cleave will hit a limit and not be able to fully cut through the target.
- Spider's Thread – A version of Cleave that spreads its slashes out into a spiderweb-shaped array and has been used only once in order to tear up a large portion of earth.
- Furnace – Known informally by many names such as "Black box," "Open," or "Fuga" before the reveal of its actual name, Furnace allows Sukuna to bring a small flame into reality between his palms which can then be aimed and fired at a target. Outside of his domain, Furnace has obscenely high firepower, easily outclassing Jogo's Disaster Flames, but can only be used against a single opponent at a time due to a Binding Vow that will be addressed later. Its speed also leaves much to be desired and works best in one-on-one standoff scenarios. The name of this technique confirms an already supported theory that Sukuna's Shrine is indeed a kitchen (reading the Kanji for Shrine helps confirm this).
This is a big enough topic that I think it merits its own section
- Sukuna's domain is the embodiment of his Shrine in pseudo-physical form that is the most technically impressive in the series. In its default form, Sukuna is capable of expanding a virtual landscape, that being his shrine, into reality without separating the two using a closed barrier. The result of this is a domain whose sure-hit exists within reality itself and not only the closed-off environment created inside a traditional barrier. The reason I specify that he does not use a closed barrier is because there is still a barrier present in Malevolent Shrine, but due to its functionality and shape it can be treated as if it does not exist at all. Inside the domain, objects with cursed energy are torn apart with Cleave adjusted to the appropriate intensity, while Dismantle ruthlessly attacks anything in range without cursed energy until it is reduced to dust. Just as when used outside of his domain, however, factors limiting Sukuna's output can allow someone to survive inside his domain provided they can recover from the wounds created faster than they propagate. Furthermore, while Sukuna generally prefers an open-barriered domain for its immense range and ability to crack the external shell of traditional domains, he is entirely capable of expanding it inside a closed barrier as most other sorcerers do.
- Furnace's true power – After Cleave and Dismantle prepare the "ingredients" of the domain by reducing them to tiny particulate matter, Furnace's real capabilities are put on full display. By dropping it into the mass of dust kicked up by his slashes, Sukuna kickstarts a chain reaction wherein dust particles become thermobaric explosives (fire bombs), setting each other off in a domino effect that scorches everything in the domain and leaves no trace of life behind. In order to make use of this, however, Sukuna must maintain a specified range and output of his domain in order to generate sufficient amounts of dust to begin the reaction. Due to being unable to achieve these conditions during his clashes with Gojo, Furnace would have proven a less effective tool than Ten Shadows for dispatching him. It is also a very situational ability, as there are exceedingly few things that can survive the rain of slashes from Malevolent Shrine long enough that Furnace is even necessary.
- Malfunctioning Shrine – After suffering critical trauma to the region of his brain responsible for maintaining barrier techniques, Sukuna was rendered incapable of expanding his domain for a long time after his fight with Gojo. However, landing multiple consecutive Black Flashes allowed him to build a new relay in his brain through which his barrier technique would operate. You can think of it like coming to a stop on a highway because of a major pileup in the middle of the road, and then plowing through trees in the ditch in order to continue moving along. This is not without its issues, however, as Sukuna was unwilling to sacrifice the quality of his domain in order to kill every one of his opponents simultaneously. By using new, unintended portions of his brain, the domain takes on a grossly disfigured appearance and suffers from instability to the degree that it cannot sustain itself for longer than 100 seconds. Additionally, the edge of the sure-hit range was covered by a barrier preventing escape from the domain, which removed the Binding Vow used in Shibuya to maximize its range but prevented the sorcerers from escaping without Todo's help.
In the interest of not going over every minute detail of a technique that only somewhat belongs to Sukuna, I will only make note here of changes he made to the technique in order to increase its effectiveness
- Partial Summons – By summoning a Shikigami on top of himself or in an incomplete manner, Sukuna can use its traits to his advantage in ways that include a rush of fluid Divine Dogs or Piercing Blood from Max Elephant's water. He mainly uses this for Mahoraga in a way that at first seems bizarre but proves critical to his victory against Gojo. Instead of forcing Mahoraga to take the damage for its adaptations, Sukuna bears the brunt of his opponent's techniques and has the wheel adapt to them, passing it on to Mahoraga who can then respond with a complete adaptation. In this case, Sukuna himself cannot make direct use of whatever adaptation results from the technique, but he can prevent Mahoraga from being taken out in one shot.
- Fusion Beast Agito – A totality Shikigami created using Nue, Great Serpent, Tranquil Deer, and Mourning Tiger that shares all of their properties, including electrifying strikes, regeneration of itself and others, and snake appendage creation. Its strength is unimpressive compared to Mahoraga's, but might have been one of Megumi's strongest Shikigami had he chosen to form it when he had the chance.
Since Sukuna now has a reputation as the Binding Vow merchant, we may as well discuss all of them in detail
- Vows preventing the destruction of his fingers by any form of Jujutsu

For many years, I took the train to work. A fellow commuter (I’ll call her Jane) endlessly complained about the poor punctuation of the service. Jane was intent on claiming as much compensation as she could from the train operator. To that end, every day she recorded on a spreadsheet how late her trains were. She was due to go on holiday and asked if I would keep a note of delays during the week. Reluctantly, I agreed. When Jane returned from holiday, she asked me for an update. However, I had totally forgotten to keep a record. Rather than admit my oversight, I told her the trains had run perfectly on time through the week. It had never happened before. Jane, as you can image, was delighted. She did not ask me again. I often think, if I’m too happy then Jane could sort me out.
I love seeing people use things I build. A combination of commercial and IT skills enabled me to develop a tool that significantly improves the way my corporate colleagues work.
I struggled at school. Maths and woodwork were the only things I was good at. In my 30s, I discovered books and embraced the idea of life long learning. I am working my way up Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. I am particularly enjoy learning new things and sharing my understanding with other, e.g. via this blog.

At Reading station I sought help and an ambulance was called. At the scene, paramedics used an ECG to check my heart. I was then taken to the local hospital for further tests. After an overnight stay, I was told my heart was healthy and I could go home. Subsequently, I went to my GP who told me the likely cause of the pain was related to some DIY I had undertaken. Since that event, I have not taken my health for granted. Daily walks help me stay happy and healthy.

To start off, there are two of the anchors of my whole power system. Flow and Ebb. Flow is a metaphysical energy that latches onto concepts and ideas, Stable flow, which is just flow, likes to create boundaries for itself, while unstable flow can become anything. It can also combine different concepts. Users with dreamsprites have a large amount of it.
Ebb is a naturally occurring energy that builds up within individuals who lack a Dreamsprite companion. This accumulation could occur over time, gradually enhancing the user's physical and mental attributes, as well as granting them access to Ebb abilities. Most ebb users have a zone casting. They're usually not very strong and are mostly used for distractions. What they can do is condense their zone into really cool weapons. This gives them at least something to hang with the dreamsprites.
Zone castings and limit breakers.
Zone castings are basically domain expansions from jjk, but are more linked to the soul. The user can expand their soul/dreamsprite in a designated area. Zone castings are able to change the environment for their own benefit. Basically imagine a guy with the ability to create a zone where everything becomes super hot. Zone clashes usually end in s tie, wether or not A is stronger than B. They can become more potent through the act of chanting. I made this to have it equal out and not have too big of a gap between the smaller guys of my verse. They have the chance to actually hurt the big boys.

Nightsprites are initially made of pure ebb. The user must get over the fear or something that they don't like in order to use the nightsprite at full capacity. Nightsprites are less forgiving, but once you've learned to conquer your fears, only then will you get to use the nightsprite. For this reason they are more rare than normal dreamsprites. These guys are most common in the noumenons category.

Preface: I do not profess this opinion as the canonical and factual ending. I like the interpretations and ambiguity, which is why i believe this play is genius in its writing. This is my essay and case as to why i believe the kids ended up surviving in the end. I really tried to find where Jacob Richmond has ever said directly that they definitely don't return at all, or anything that confirmed the fate of the group aside from Jane/Penny ofc. As far as I am aware, he has only just focused on their death and has never explicitly confirmed any theories of the fate of the group. That is technically my first point I just discussed to back up the theory, but everybody knows the ambiguity of the ending has left a lot open to interpretation, so we won't count it ;). Besides, he can always one day come out and just decide the canonical fate to everybody and completely throw whatever I have here out the window, but hopefully he leaves it ambiguous. I apologize in advance for grammatical and structural mistakes. I tried to be organized with my thoughts, but i am also impatient and just type lol
1) Karnak's Prohpecy to the Group:
I know it is widely accepted that the "complete the whole" is referring to Ocean giving the prize to Jane in order to restore her "whole" and reincarnate her as her being the only one who lives in the end..... but technically, you could actually argue that the fortune means that when Ocean, who is the one who is the final and toughest person to come to terms and find peace in her death, gives the prize to Jane Doe, who was the biggest "loser" out of all of them, it will complete the "whole"....... as in the GROUP as a "whole". Ocean giving the prize to Jane Doe was the last and final resolution of the entire group as a "whole". They were all complete. There was nothing else that they needed to figure out or resolve after that and they all became complete and content in the end. They became whole and fulfilled the prophecy Karnak made, which funny enough, made the prophecy whole itself. Everything was made "whole". Personally, I think it is more face value, far fetched, and easy to assume that the "whole" meant JUST Jane Doe being complete. Focusing too much on the prize itself, and not the meaning of what the whole journey of the play/plot was meant to be about really. Karnak's prize of returning one person to life, i believe, was a red herring anyway. Karnak knows way too much about the group and it would defeat the whole purpose and have not nearly as much of an impact if he told everybody, "All of you will return to life if you learn your lessons 🤗". So, to assume the widely accepted assumption most people go with and it is nothing more... makes the idea only Jane was given life (the prize) just more flimsy in my eyes.
2) Wording, Context, and Specific Choice of Words That Were Written:
Ofc, Jane gets a life and is reincarnated we know this. Notice how that isn't the same as being brought back to life if you want to get technical though. Reincarnation and resurrection are very separate definitions when it comes to death and have been widely accepted as such. Her actual body and who she was, was not actually resurrected. Also, religions, most notably Hinduism, always tell us that reincarnation is the CONTINUATION of life. Life never stopped. As a matter of fact, Jane sings this in the beginning and end of the play. This is why a lot of people believe the group is in a constant time loop. It is a complete restart going from being alive.... to being alive in a different form for Jane. Amd it is a restart for the group which I will explain further. And if we are to interpret resurrection and reincarnation as separate, then nobody actually won the prize that Karnak said would be given. If the ending shows time being manipulated and reversed (or they were moved to another timeline. Gonna get into that later lol)..... then how is one dead if they never were to have died in the first place 👀 (Manipulation of time). So in a way, WE WERE ALL RIGHT. They did die in the timeline they were originally in, time technically did loop around to the point of where they were before, and they all are bow alive. Would be f'ing mind blowing.

Tieing into the previous point of evidence.... Karnak has been established since the beginning of the story to be misleading and not very trustworthy in what he says to be the entire truth or not the ONLY truth. However, that is not to say what he says has not come to fruition. All of his prophecies come true. Now, you may think that if I say this, then I just contradicted my point about him saying he would bring someone back to life in the end. That's where I am going to bring up the specific wording and how Karnak has operated in his prophecies and his nature as a character. See, even though they weren't playing a game as established in the ending..... Karnak explicitly stated when they arrived in Limbo that he wanted to play a game. That game was part of the red herring and the misleading nature of his character. It was a game for Karnak not them. Karnak constantly shifted the rules and regulations of the game throughout the play (never lied), but you know when he is clearly giving a prophecy (Ex: The winner and the loser make the whole). If the game never existed (as evident by the fact they were never actually competing, let alone even competing for a prize)..... If there wasn't a game being played.... then that would mean the prize was not the actual reward that was even given. So then you may ask, "What would that mean about the prophecy of the winner and the loser making the whole then if that is the case? Doesn't that contradict that theory?". That's where wording is very tricky and amazing about this play. A winner and a loser can be correlated to that of a conflict, battle or endeavor. You could actually refer to life as being the endeavor. Ocean was the one who wanted to win the most out of life, and Jane was the one who lost the most out of life. In Limbo, that continues to be the case. Ocean still is striving to win at her life (one who wants to win the most) while Jane can't and is eternally labeled as, literally, the loser. So, who wins and loses doesn't have to be in the context of an actual game or contest. And if you want to say there was a contest or game, then the only kind was with themselves. They were MAKING it a contest initially if anything.
Karnak has never lied. If there was never a game,, then there were never rules, and if there were never rules, then he really has never lied. Mislead? Yes. If you believe it was a game, then it would only be a game from Karnak's perspective. He would make changes, but has never actually lied.
4) Karnak's Powers and What He Was Going to Say Before His Death:
By the end of the play, at this point, it's absolutely perfectly reasonable to assume Karnak has the ability to bring all of them back if he were to be able to do everything else he has done in the show. He has never stated that he isn't capable of it, and just says that he is able to bring someone back who wins. Powers we know he is capable of are (and not limited to as far as we know) time manipulation, spacial manipulation, controlling life and death, prophecising, resurrection (we actually don't even know if he is capable of this technically, but probably is), reincarnation, and being an overall omnipotent and all knowing being. I know it is even more of a deeper dive, but if they are in a time loop and the last time we see the group, is when they are back on the coaster..... who is to say he didn't take them to a time where the accident doesn't happen? Somebody said that they are just constantly in a never ending loop on the coaster at the end cause of the screams and the gestures? But idk how we would get that when a roller coaster has multiple dips so idk how you would get the conclusion from just gestures. I would like to mention that Karnak was about to mention another prophecy before his death, so there clearly was something that we are meant to try and figure out what it could be that he didn't mention. I just know there is something significant about the number 7 that ties into it somehow, cause I haven't been able to figure out the significance of that number besides the time of when they were riding the coaster. There has to be more to it.
5) The Light:
Ok, I just know someone is going to say something about the light, and I totally understand..... but it's not enough to counter everything else that was previously mentioned. Jane and the group had different colors for the light because they both traveled different paths of their return. And also, you could easily interpret the change of light for the group to show that they were back in the carnival setting and they just made the light green because they were matching the carnival color aesthetic. It's just something that I get is subtle and should definitely be taken into consideration, but it's just not enough. You would have to examine if there is any symbolism in color within the story and if they are actually associated with anything in the play itself, which as far as I can tell.... the white light is the only symbolic color I could discern.
P.S. I'm sorry, but I flat out am going to say that the theory that Jane Doe always was Penny is not believable imo cause if you know of Legoland, people would DEFINITELY know who she was, her fingerprints, law enforcement and the school having a strong enough inpression from her criminal activity and how unhinged she was when she was alive. There's just no way her death would have gone unnoticed if she was Penny before she died. So, she was definitely reincarnated as Penny. Not resurrected. You could argue that she got reincarnated as Penny, and then that is the actual Penny from Legoland, but like........ what would be the contextual clues and evidence if that's the case? The only thing would be that Jane (whoever she was before death) and Penny both go to the same school canonically, but like...... Penny also has a brother who goes to the same school..... so even if her parents were locked up while she was dead, her brother would've known so very easily. To say she didn't have a brother pre Jane Doe would be saying so without any actual contextual evidence.

(Trick q, there is no answer but I have to let this out, tis a silly little rant, not that deep, rhetorical and all that) Recently started a fresh acc on a new switch for solo queue for all lanes but oh my lord….. Seriously, had to give it a google first cos bruhhh, i’m trying to be chill about this but after reading many threads on here and twitter of people non stop complaining having the same issues of the worst players in any game in the history of earth ever and getting some really hostile responses off obv non bot and non children I gotta ask..
Genuinely, no shade.. why, why continue to play ranked and ruin other peoples experiences? If you “enjoy the game but know i’m really bad” why not play against the computecasual games until you understand? stop with the excuses of “it’s kids/bots” and “i’m having fun” 1) no not every single bad player is a child/bot, i’ve gamed since i was 3, children can understand and aren’t the only issue here and bots follow a guide. and 2) no it’s not all about just you in a ranked game, sorry it needs to be said but a “want to play” goes out the window when playing an online competitive function in a game, effecting someone else (4 other people in this case) game and experience.. being young and new are different and absolutely valid, we are all new at some point and all make mistakes, it’s life even diehard day one players slip up… but to have no idea wtf is going on in every game after playing for a good amount of time and be actively ignoring your team be it refusing to move lanes to help, ignoring pings or carrying, hogging and repeatedly losing 50 points.. it’s just WHY? even if you don’t really understand the games concept you absolutely 100% understand what “HELP ME” “I need backup” “rally here” “score points” means yet chose to never respond to the calls so again… WHY ranked? you can play the game all you like that’s fine but it’s just why ranked, why competitively.. admitting you are bad when options to learn the game and help you improve are right there but still refusing it is genuinely just so infuriating to see used as an “excuse”.
