So, recently I just got my new coffee machine and I was looking for a grinder and decided to go with the DF64 Gen 2. I've searched everywhere and could only get the white version at an extremely high markup from an European retailer (homebarista.be), since white doesn't suit me I immediately started looking for alternatives outside Europe.
I quickly noticed that there was what seems to be an Asian retailer (df64coffee.com) that has this unit in stock for immediate shipping, although costing around 75 euro more than the pre-order version, so I thought they must be putting their money forward to build up their stock and pass this cost to their customer, making more per each "instock" unit they sell, in principle this seemed like a fair deal and I didn't mind paying 25% markup to get the "instock" unit. I gave up on getting a Niche Zero and decided to go with DF64 based on this.
I found out a coupon code from here for 10% off (ASAF10OFF) and that they had a fast expedited shipping option with 1-3 day delivery and given that I got this 10% off I decided to go with this option instead of a white version from an European retailer, because 1-3 day shipping is still acceptable to me, even though it cost me 56 euro to get the fast delivery. Thus order #9753 was placed for my DF64 and I've been patiently waiting since. But it's now been over 48 hours since I placed my order and I haven't heard from DF64coffee still, I'm afraid they won't fulfill on their 1-3 day delivery that I paid extra for.
Has anyone else experienced issues with DF64coffee.com with their "instock" units and expedited shipping? It is my understanding that no matter how I look at it I should be getting my coffee grinder either by tomorrow, or at most by Tuesday if they're only counting working days.
Do they usually fulfill their obligation or is this a scam website? They haven't answered my email either, although they claim it might take up to 3 days. Just want to get my grinder ASAP and happy to pay any markup they ask for but if they don't fulfill it afterwards I'm going to feel terribly scammed if I can't try my coffee machine now...

The user summons a small Nen-Dwarf that will help them to do tasks at home. This will use up all Nen (except of 1%) the user has at the moment and pour it into David. That means as long David is fueled with nen a bit every day after the first summon he will be stay there. The following conditions must be met to use this Hatsu:
1) The user or his partner must have delivered or adopted a Baby. 2) The baby/Child shall not be older than 5 Years. If the Baby/Child is older, the dwarf will not be Conjured anymore. 3) The user and his partner must have an emotional bond to the Baby/Child.
If all those criteria are met the Dwarf will help with tasks like: Changing diapers, Cleaning told areas at home, Cook food, Taking care of washing clothes, Play with the baby (when the parents are exhausted),sing Lullabies etc, etc.
Davids main function can be described as: Keep the Mental and Bodyhealth of the Family high up. But the more tasks he does a day the more Nen he will use. If the users nen is used up David will dissapear. Another summon is possible after 48 Hours.
However when the child turns 5 the Nen used for David will stick to the childs back creating a small cross (called Kings Cross) between the shoulder bones. Said Cross can only be seen by using Gyo.
Hatsu 2: Supportive Fella: Kings Cross Specialisation
King can be described as the ultimate protector using the Nen filled cross on the childs back as a medium to be summoned. He can only be summoned with following conditions:
1) David must have turned into Kings Cross. 2) The main user must say King out loud. 3) The child must say King out loud when its life is not danger but attacked. 4) Automatic summon when the Childs life is in danger.
King is a Nen Beast in form of a rusty orange Wolf with the ability to set his size depending of the danger nearby. The higher the danger the bigger he will become. King will do anything to protect the child from any dangerous harm until the Child becomes 35 Years old.
Keep in mind the Child still can get slightly hurt, like a headbump or bruises etc when it walks into something, to support the natural learning proccess, but King will prevent the worst things like trauma, broken bones, open wounds, shocks, attacks etc.
In case the Child is about to be attacked or hurt (without its life in danger) by another person King needs the command to appear and attack.
At first King will try to intimidate the opponent and stay at the childs side until one of the parents arrive. If an intimidation is not possible King will attack.
The parents can put King into the cross again by touching his head and say: Thank you, Good boy!
Last note: King has the potential to become a Post Mortem Hatsu because the main user is still one of the Parents. If the main user dies, King will protect the child until it dies of old age by a natural death not only till the age of 35.
I hope it was a good shot. I wanted to create something that will help a lot and take stuff of the parents shoulders in a world of crimes and danger.

The elder of two brothers was very expert at catching eagles.
He would cover a hole with leaves and brush, place on top the carcass of some animal, and hide underneath until an eagle settled on the brush to eat the meat.
Then he would seize the bird’s legs, draw it inside, and kill it.
Once he caught a big red eagle, but not wishing to kill such a bird he let it fly away.
The younger boy now begged permission to catch eagles also.
The elder refused him three times. The fourth time he consented, but warned the lad not to touch a big red eagle.
So the boy concealed himself in the trap.
One of the smaller eagles soared down and began to eat the meat.
The boy caught and killed it without difficulty.
Another settled on the trap, then a third. Those also he killed.
Then came a big red eagle. Forgetting his brother’s warning and tempted by its bright feathers, he seized its wing and tried to drag it down.
The eagle, however, was too strong. It pulled him out of the trap and carried him far away.
His brother looked for him that evening, saw the gaping hole in the trap, and knowing what had happened sat down and wept.
He wept and wept, until he shriveled up and became a tiny baby again.
An old woman who was traveling to one side of a party happened to hear the baby cry.
She picked it up, wrapped it in her blanket, gathered some of the feathers that were strewn about, and hurried on to rejoin her people.
In the party were her ten sons.
As the eldest was pitching his tent that evening, she said to him, “Back yonder on the hill I found a little baby and brought it along with me.
May we sleep in your tent tonight?”
“No”, he answered gruffly. “The child will disturb us too much.”
She approached the second son, the third, the fourth; each rejected her in almost the same words.
Last of all, she approached the tenth and youngest.
“Yes, mother, come in and bring your baby with you.
He will be a little brother to me.”
So the old woman lodged with her youngest son, to whom she gave her eagle feathers.
The years passed by, and her baby grew into a sturdy youth.
One winter the Indians set up their tents beside a large pond and began to scour the countryside for buffalo. Not an animal could they find anywhere.
Before long their supply of food ran low, yet they would not move away, for they still hoped that one or more herds would appear in their neighbourhood.
While they were idly waiting, the chief of the band tried to capture two foxes that had made their dens in the vicinity, but the animals were too cunning for him.
Annoyed at the failure, he sent a crier round the camp to proclaim that the man who brought him their skins might marry one of his daughters.
All the best hunters went out to try their skill but failed — the foxes outwitted every one.
One day the boy brought some sticks into his foster-grandmother’s tent and began to make a bow and arrows.
She said to him, “What are you going to shoot, my grandson?”
“I am going to try for the foxes.”
“Foolish boy. If the best hunters in the camp can’t catch them, you certainly will not succeed.”
“I can at least try. It may be that I can shoot them with my arrows.”
The grandmother only laughed; she said no more.
Unnoticed by anyone in the camp, the boy slipped away the next morning and hid near one of the dens.
A fox emerged and wandered away.
As soon as it disappeared, he planted a circle of pointed sticks around the hole, then hid again and waited.
Not long afterwards the fox returned, spied the watching lad, and darted for its hole.
The sharp sticks pierced its neck and killed it. The boy killed the other fox in exactly the same manner and, concealing the furs under his coat, he started for home.
As he trudged along, snow fell and obliterated his tracks so that no one discovered where he had been.
Outside his tent he stopped, glanced quickly round, and concealed his furs in a heap of firewood.
Then he went inside and sat down without saying a word.
His grandmother looked up and asked:
“Where have you been?”
“Oh, I just went out and caught the foxes.”
She laughed again.
“Oh, but I will prove it,” he said.
And going outside he plucked a few hairs from the furs and brought them in to her.
“You shouldn’t pull the hair out of our dogs,” she said. “The weather is very cold, and they need all their fur.”
Three times he brought in scraps of the fox fur, and each time she declared that he had pulled them out of the dogs.
The fourth time he brought in the furs themselves.
The old woman gazed at them in amazement.
At last she said, “My grandchild, you have been very lucky.
But you are too young to marry one of the chief’s daughters.
You had better give the furs to one of your brothers.”
The boy did not answer.
In the evening she told her younger son what had happened.
Loudly he voiced his praise and said to the boy:
“Don’t give the furs to anyone else.
Take them to the chief yourself.”
At dawn the people discovered that the foxes were missing and informed the chief, who walked through the camp crying before every tent, “Who killed the foxes?”
No one answered him. None of the hunters could produce the furs, and no one thought of the poor orphan lad.
Greatly perplexed, the chief retired to his tent again.
The sun had reached noon when the old woman, concealing the furs under her robe, stole inside the tent and sat down humbly at the right of the door.
The chief looked up and said to his family, “This old woman has never visited me before.
Feed her well, and then let her tell us what she wants.”
They fed her, but instead of announcing why she had come, she quietly slipped through the door and returned home.
“I brought the furs back,” she said to the boy.
“You are such a poor wretched orphan that I was ashamed to tell him.”
Before he could reply, her own son spoke up, “You did wrong, mother.
You should have told the chief.
Go back now and give him the furs.”
The old woman went out slowly.
Presently she returned with her message again undelivered.
He sent her a third time but shame still sealed her lips.
Driven back for the fourth time, she sat with bowed head inside the doorway vainly trying to muster up her courage.
At last she rose to steal outside again but as she stooped to pass through the door, the fox’s tail slipped down into view below her robe.
With one bound the chief pulled it away from her, seized the other fox fur also, and cried, “Now — which of your sons was it that killed them?”
“It was my foster-grandson”, she murmured.
“I was too ashamed to give you the furs before.”
The chief sat down in silence, and his elder daughter turned her face away in disgust. But the younger girl cried out, “If her grandson has killed the foxes, I will marry him.”
So the younger girl returned with the old woman and married the youth, while her sister remained with her father.
Three days passed without incident.
On the fourth, the youth said to his bride, “Tell your father to build the pound higher and to keep a sharp watch, for tomorrow I am going to drive in some buffalo”.

After the sentencing, if Trump's support starts to drop dramatically, then I would likely make changes in my August to early November predictions to reflect that. For now, I still think Biden has an underrated chance of winning, but it's still looking to be very close, closer than 2020. Unlike last month, however, I'd like to go into detail about why I have these placements. Likely Republican States:
Should Trump receive jail time for this case, I imagine that my prediction could change substantially among the seven battlegrounds (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin). For now, though, this is what I expect - Biden improves over the next several months and outperforms polling expectations somewhat, having the same incumbency boost that Bush, Obama, and Trump all got (though to a lesser extent than those three, as Trump was the previous incumbent). |

Wife (49) makes approx $400k base per year (100% bonus but not achieved this last year)
We have $4.2m in 3 monthly dividend high growth mutual funds $750k in bonds - assests held in Middle East and currently (as residents not subject to taxation) These assets pay approx $400k pa in div/ coupon of which we reinvest $240k into same mutual funds pa
We hold around $800k in cash in Middle East and US paying around 4.4% annually
Rent in the Middle East and intend to continue to do so (feels very much like a property bubble here imo - of course could be wrong) We have one property (NYC apartment from our time there) and nett nett costs us $25k pa (rent minus mortgage / taxes) the outstanding mortgage is $1.4m in the US based on an approx $2.5m selling price - this is a Highly Illiquid asset however due to us not being residents in the US any longer and subject to stringent IRS money laundering rules if we sold - at best I believe we could pull $400k initially on any sale and the remaining balance in 3 years once completed IRS ‘holding period’
We do not own property in the U.K. and this is our biggest concern and barrier to FIRE for us both in 3 - 5 years - current exchange rates are favourable but do we sell some liquid assets to purchase outright in the U.K. ?
TL DR - do we dip into principal capital to purchase outright a property in the U.K. with exchange being favourable ?

I think perhaps it just wasn’t uploaded correctly because when I clicked to expand it, it basically just wanted me to upload again. I did a PA background check and the FBI fingerprint background check as I’ve lived out of PA, and from what I can see both came back with no prior arrests or records. Obviously I’d know if I’ve been arrested 😂 but in my anxiety riddled brain I’m like but what if there is something else that would be causing a discrepancy? I was young and dumb once and (attempted to) shoplift from Walmart, was not arrested but paid a fine I believe. Waiting the 48 hours for results is brutal enough but now seeing a “discrepancy” on my application is making it that much worse. I think I passed, shut off at 85 and got the “good pop up” from Pearson. But if anyone has experienced something similar with the application my mind would greatly appreciate it. I think perhaps it just wasn’t uploaded correctly because when I clicked to expand it, it basically just wanted me to upload again. I did a PA background check and the FBI fingerprint background check as I’ve lived out of PA, and from what I can see both came back with no prior arrests or records. Obviously I’d know if I’ve been arrested 😂 but in my anxiety riddled brain I’m like but what if there is something else that would be causing a discrepancy? I was young and dumb once and (attempted to) shoplift from Walmart, was not arrested but paid a fine I believe. Waiting the 48 hours for results is brutal enough but now seeing a “discrepancy” on my application is making it that much worse. I really enjoyed the tournament format of the last AAC, so I'm back again with a similar split tier and a whole new set of maps to run this back.
For those of you who’ve never heard of these kinds of tournaments, here’s the rundown:
To sign up, comment on the signup thread with the two characters you intend to run, a brief justification of why they’re in tier vs the tiersetter characters, and a linked "respect thread" including links to all the scans/feats you intend to use in the debate. The Respectthreads forum has a large pre-existing list of these, but you may draw from any comprehensive equivalent or create one yourself. Vs Battles Wiki pages are not permissible substitutes.
Stipulations are alterations to a characters’ gear, powers, mindset, or sources used. The following are examples of reasonable stips:
Each round of debates will last 5 days, with a minimum of two responses within 48 hours to avoid disqualification and a maximum of three responses per competitor, plus optional closing summaries. Responses can be up to two maximum length reddit posts long, or 20k characters including spaces.
Arguments will be judged with special attention paid to the effective use of linked scans of feats, antifeats, character behaviour, etc. as evidence.
More than that, this tier is designed for teams that synergize well together in creative, effective, and unpredictable ways.
The two tiers are deliberately asymmetrical, with Deadpool as the more dangerous and mobile melee combatant while Cable is slower and less durable, but offers ranged support and telepathic tracking to enhance Deadpool's effectiveness. This dynamic should be reflective in team composition, with mixed support and offence taken into account.
Characters will be considered for in-tierness both as a 1v1 against either Cable or Deadpool, and as part of a 2v2 team fight alongside their teammate.

Hey there folks, it’s Tad. You may remember me from such threads as funny heavy, rhyme satan, and obama.I really enjoyed the tournament format of the last AAC, so I'm back again with a similar split tier and a whole new set of maps to run this back.
For those of you who’ve never heard of these kinds of tournaments, here’s the rundown:
- Competitors will submit teams of characters of their choosing and debate them against the submissions of others to determine who would win, using linked scans as evidence of their abilities.
- Submitted combatants are balanced against a ‘tiersetter’ character, against whom they must have a plausibly non one-sided matchup and be able to feasibly lose against. The tiersetter is the “measuring stick” for the tournament’s power level.
- Winners of each round of debates will be determined by majority vote by a panel of judges factoring in the strength of arguments made and evidence provided both in favour and against the victory of characters.
A Primer For Newcomers:

The Tier:
Teleasshole
“Teleasshole” is a split tier consisting of two characters: the frenemy duo of Cable & Deadpool from Marvel Comics. Participants will submit one combatant to each tier character to form a two-person team.- Cable is a brawler armed with a rapid fire, long ranged heavy weapon that tears apart his enemies' bodies. He supplements his ability to provide fire support, telekinetic ballistic shields as cover, and intuitive telepathic tracking of his opponents.
- Deadpool is an agile assassin who fights with unpredictable acrobatics wielding a blade that can cleave through moderate amounts of metal. He has a potent healing factor which allows him to fight recklessly through injuries, and a long ranged teleporter that lets him scout the battlefield and freely reposition with his ally.

He even left home and chased them across the country. He expected that hard work, training, and determination would make his dreams a reality. Afterall, people always said that if you worked hard, you could achieve your goals. He did not expect to be a short order cook working long shifts for minimum wage. He certainly didn't expect to take the garbage out one night and find himself confronted by a thousand pounds of fury armed with fangs and claws. He did not expect to survive. Now, Kirk finds himself in the center of a world he never thought possible. Caught between two powerful forces, he's pushed to make a decision. That decision will change the future of his new home. He doesn't know what the right decision is, and as tempting as the offers are, only one side can win. Thankfully, he's got a pair of interesting women to show him his options. I figured that since G.S. D’Moore did such a good job on his summary, I would copy and paste it. I think it was spot on, but left you enough room to discover the world as you read. What I liked about it was that it captured the tone of the author’s voice. Characters: First, this was a harem series, so there were a lot of important characters. However, this was told from one point of view, Kirk Jensen. He’s the male lead of this world and was your Joe Every Man made good. Total wish fulfillment, but I really loved these cats and kittens. All of these characters were well-written and fleshed out. They felt real to me, as if I could have a beer with them at the local pub. Which is ironic, given where Kirk’s first job was. Like the last book in this genre that I read, this was a laid-back story. I loved that the author focused on fun and adventure, without needless navel gazing. Hats off to G.S. D’Moore on his execution, he killed it with these characters! Kirk Jensen: He’s an orphan with dreams of a career in law enforcement. With a new degree in criminal justice, he moved to a small town in Alaska. He knew that small towns, like the one on Kodiak Island, had openings in law enforcement. At least he hoped that they did, because he went all in with his move. When he gets there, he chases his dream by working at a greasy spoon restaurant as a cook until he can test for the one opening that was coming with one of local cops’ retirement. From a personality perspective, he is a steady, loyal guy. He’s your average guy, at least until things change when he becomes a shifter. Brianna Ahnah: She’s a member of the Ahnah Innuit Werewolf Pack. Her father is the alpha and she is his only daughter. Her pack is a collection of various indigenous werewolf shifters, but she’s an arctic wolf herself. Her people run the logging industry on Kodiak Island. She’s petite, maybe 5’3” tall and lithe in stature. From a personality standpoint, she is a calming force and more of the laid-back homebody type. Serena McCoy: She’s a member of the McCoy Werewolf Pack. Her father is the alpha and came to Kodiak Island in the early 1900s. The pack is a collection of Dire Wolf shifters who run the Kodiak Island fishing companies. She’s a busty ginger, with a personality to match the fiery mane. While Brianna is demure, Serena is a tempest of raw sexuality. She’s almost as tall as Kirk and seems very outgoing. Plot and Pacing: This story was plotted to perfection by GS D’Moore. I believed in the character’s transition from human to shifter. It was expertly done and not some rush job to get to the harem parts. Instead, we had several chapters before we got that change that is hinted at in the series title. But, again, I love shifters, and werewolves… so, my buy-in was easy. I was ready to suspend my disbelief… cause shifters are awesome! It helped that the author made it an easy and enjoyable ride through his coming-of-age adventure. As far as pacing was concerned, the adventure wasn’t all at once, rushing through the plot to get to the smut. Instead, the author built up to the crescendo, allowing the harem romance to ride second fiddle to a shifter tale. We explored the universe through Kirk’s eyes, but he was a fun perspective to follow. The author kept the story flowing smoothly from beat to beat, interspersed with romantic tension filled lulls to let the reader catch their breath. Audiobook Quality: The audiobook was professionally made by Podium Publishing. The narrators they hired were good and they kept my attention. There were a few obvious inserted corrections, where the volumes didn’t match, but those were so infrequent that they were almost unnoticeable. I’ve never listened to Evan Jordan or Sierra Taft before, but they’re now on my auto-approved list for audiobooks. The two worked well together, and I’m becoming more and more of a fan of the two narrator pairings. Sizzle Factor: There weren’t that many sex scenes in this novel, a blowie and one glorious ‘wham, bam, thank you ma’am’ scene. What was there was well written, allowed you to visualize things like a smutty movie in your head. That sex was very much normie vanilla, but it was good. Those scenes were steamy… very steamy. Like, it sizzled and left you a hot and sweaty mess. Overall: Okay, let’s dive into this book! This was my second harem novel, so I don’t have a lot to compare this to. That said, I really enjoyed what was here. The story was a lot of fun, it was well-written, and the audiobooks were well-performed. On the writing side, G.S. D’Moore has a mastery of the craft that was a pleasure to read and listen too. It was a joy to read, and I plan on checking out more of his books. He communicated to us with conversational prose, which I’m a huge fan of. If my Veteran Radar still works on, I’d put money on D’Moore having worn the uniform in dangerous places like I have. It was no wonder that his law enforcement character, Kirk Jensen, was so well written. His other characters were also all believable, and I wanted to hang out with them in real life. This is how I judge the people in the books where I temporarily make my home. The sex was written with just enough sizzle to seduce you into buying the next book. Even cooler, I have enough knowledge of werewolf and shifter lore that I could follow along. In a nutshell, this book was amazing and hooked me into buying the rest of the series. You’ll want to buy them all too and you won’t regret it! |

 | So, the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine now has the the Evergreen version of MagiQuest, condensing the game to the first 4 floors of the lodge instead of all 8. I've posted a few times about the ongoing issue with my husband who is a PA. I don't make a lot of posts but I do comment around here.
I've been in therapy, with a non-csat and it's ok. I feel grounded with that but not making any improvements or breakthrough. I think I'm gonna quit and try to find a CSAT.
Update about the PA. He was laid off at work for 2 weeks and stopped going to the CSAT. He's been back in work about 6 weeks, and hasn't scheduled anything with her now that he's got an income again. He told me when he was laid off that he would resume sessions with his CSAT once he was back in work. He's also gotten a raise at work.
I guess to his minimal credit, he found an in person meeting and goes to 1 meeting a week that is 2 hours long since he stopped with his CSAT.
We went to discernment counseling with a therapist who works at his CSATs practice. Discernment counseling is a counselor guided process where over 4-6 sessions they help you decide to get a divorce, commit to couples therapy,or maintain the status quo. It's more nuanced that that but that's the gist of it.
We went and discussed it. It was a male counselor and he didn't say anything to invalidate that porn can be addictive. However, during the session, several times he brought up couples counseling, and I clarified everytl time that we were here for discernment counseling. At the end, we basically left off at he and I need to go home and discuss it and schedule something whether it be moving forward with discernment counseling or couples therapy.
I didn't really like that and I am annoyed because I specifically discussed what I wanted with the intake lady, we discussed in depth the process and steps to discernment counseling and then we get there with the male therapist and he kept guiding the discussion to couples counseling.
I don't know. If he thinks that DC isn't good for us and we should do couples counseling, I think he should just outright say that if that is the case. It was very confusing amd left me feeling weird.
So anyway, we never talked about what we should do because I've dropped the rope on leading talks with him. I told him months ago when he started with his CSAT what I needed and one of those things were weekly check-ins scheduled, initiated, and led by him. I am a leader at work and under a lot of stress and pressure, I do not want to be the leader of this, nor do I feel I should be; I feel he needs to be scheduling with me and he should be creating an agenda or talking points. We've not had a single check in and it's been approx.8-9 months now. And I've provided him with information on how to have a check in and the types of things to discuss.
I keep seeing people say what it looks like when someone is in recovery and that they have shame resilience and empathy. I've not seen either. In the very beginning with the CSAT he was more open about acknowledging the pain he has caused and apologizing. It was minimal, but I saw it for a few weeks and it felt like a glimmer of hope.
He cannot talk to me in person. He can't. I don't know why, it's always been this way. We could have a disagreement and agree to table it until later and then when later comes and we're in bed, we both sit there in silence and awkwardness until he outlasts me and I fall asleep. Conversation successfully avoided on his part.
Again, I don't feel like these are conversations I should have to initiate. When I need to, I do. But all things related to this porn addiction need to be led by him,and he's not leading or even taking this seriously.
What I'm feeling like, now that we're nearly a year into a "serious" crack down on my part with the insistence of a CSAT and recovery, to which he agreed that he is addicted and does need help because even if I leave him, he will likely have another relationship in the future and he doesn't want to lose this one or have a PA impact this future any longer.
Big talk, he's wanting recovery yeah! rah rah...6 months later in a small spat he says, well I only went to the CSAT so you wouldn't leave.
And the truth comes out. You said you wanted this for you, for our family,for our relationship, and not you're forgetting your lie.
So over the past 3 to 5 months. I've dropped the rope. I don't even remember what happened but I put him out of the bedroom on the couch. He slept there for about 2 months. We were working to clean up my office and the spare room that is storage so we could separate in the home andove my office down stairs and he take my old office. After 2 months I noticed the physical impact this was having on his body. Back pains, neck pains, all sorts of pain and hobbling, and I do not think he was crying wolf. He works construction and it's hard physically demanding work. So I let him come back to the bed.
Not much progress has been made on the room cleaning and moving situation.
Now for the most recent fuckery from my brain that's got me all messed up....
We scheduled a trip to Vegas in Feb for a show at Sphere with a band I love and introduced to him. In late March I told him I didn't want him to go and I will find someone to buy his half of the trip out. (It's not just tickets,there's a hotel room, and a VIP experience). I found someone,the committed, had some personal house issues (new ac) and are unable to go. I let him know and because things havent been awful between us, I told him he is welcome to come or I'll try to find someone else. He wanted to go, I admittedly was nervous being in Vegas alone so I was comforted by him coming, despite what goes on there. We've been geeking out about it and finding activities to do while there.
I want to go to the pool, a bathing suit has been on my mind for weeks. I got one recently and it was too small and fit really badly and really made me feel bad about myself. Last night I was looking at full body rash guards, like imagine a wet suit for a diver...a full body bathing suit because I don't want to show my body at the pool. I mentioned going to look for a bathing suit today. I woke up and just didn't want to go because I am fat and disgusting. There's no bathing suit that's going to fix whatever this is.
I used to be so confident and at least acceptedy body. I'm not super fat but am not skinny. I'm thick. I have red hair half way down my ass that I sit on when I sit down. I have tattoos and tasteful piercings. There was a time that I was like "fuck yeah I look good" now I just feel like 50 pounds of shit stuffed into a 5 pound bag.
So as we were sitting here in bed I closed my eyes and started tearing up and just trying to breathe through it and not cry. I don't know if he noticed this but after about 3 minutes of sitting with my eyes closed and little tears running down my face, he gets up and is like I'm gonna take the kid to pickup his bike from the shop and leaves. I'm a blanket burrito at this point and just crying while they're gone.
Forgot his card, texts me that he's coming home. Comes home and gets it and asks if he can get me anything while hes out. Through tears I ask if he can get me any self esteem and he replies "it's just like that million dollars, I can't buy that" and leaves.
So, lately, I have been thinking about getting my brows shaded/microbladed because I have fair skin, red hair, which means my eyebrows and body hair are cleawhite blonde. I've always looked like I have no eyebrows even though I do.
So I called a place and went and got some semi-permanent brows put on my face this afternoon.
Maybe this will make me feel better if my face looks "normal" by having eyebrows.
I am continuing to leave the rope on the floor, I won't be picking it up. He needs to pick it up and hand it to me. Our lease is prohibitively expensive to break, so I'm going to ride it out and work on me.
I've paid all of the bills and carried us for years, including our 2500 a month rent with my job. He's now making more than me, once again. He, as a single person,should have no issue paying for his own bills, life, etc. meanwhile he's nickle and diming himself (and our family by extension) with gas station energy drinks and food, and mobile games in the Google Play Store.
