I had also just gotten out of a short term relationship (first boyfriend) that left me completely heartbroken a few months before I met my husband. As a result I was very 'wishy-washy' towards my now husband. I didn't really see myself dating him but liked that he was very kind and attentive towards me, even though, I found him rather annoying at first. He didn't seem to care and kept pursuing me. We eventually became a couple without either one of us formally asking each other.
We each went to separate universities which were close in proximity. This is when I started to notice his lack of communication and intimacy towards me. He rarely texted, called or visited me. When I would bring this up he would state he was busy, fair enough, I understood that but told him if he was too busy to call or text he was too busy for a gf and broke up with him. Once I did he showed up at my apartment in less than 2 hours. I took him back and that was just the start of the charades or breadcrumbs I had unfortunately settled for. Long story short it never really improved not when we got our first apartment, our first home, or our second. It only got worse with each milestone. As we hit every goal/dream we wanted I felt less and less seen, heard or valued.
There were a few moments in our lives that made me slowly start to resent him. The first one was him not standing up for me when his mom disrespected me, him getting mad over me calling So Cal Gas because I smelled gas and they shut off our gas. The time we bought our first house and he started packing his stuff to go live there even though the house was no where near ready to move in even when I begged him to wait. Him going to my parents house to tell them when we were fighting/arguing or calling them on the phone to tell them to come so they could calm me down. Him locking me out of our house. Him taking a picture with his mom in front of our first house and him saying how he was so proud he did it with no help from anyone 🙄 him not tending to me after I almost died having our baby and then telling me I couldn’t even breastfeed our son. Him telling me I was having vertigo symptoms because I was obese. Him telling me we had bills to pay when I mentioned I was extremely tired during my first trimester (a little empathy would have been appreciated). Now I will say I didn’t know how to regulate my emotions back then compared to now so I would explode with anger and I wish I could take back a lot of things I said and did. But I have worked on myself and grown but have not seen my husband do the same. As a result we grew apart ( didn’t have a strong bond to begin with) and his lack on intimacy and attention made me hate him. I felt so alone and alienated in my own home. I finally decided to file for divorce and he has moved out. He says he wants marriage counseling but now I’m not sure I want to put in the effort because I suggested counseling back in 2021 and he said he didn’t need counseling but I did. I miss him but I think he just wants someone there. There’s a lot more but it’s too much to jot down. I seriously want to give us another shot but we were sexually intimate a few days ago and he slept over and he acts like nothing, but he doesn’t really express what on his mind. my bp and i have been now living separately for 3 months (D-Day) but regularly see each other and check in with one another, text every day. we are not currently in a relationship but continue affections for one another (typical relationship stuff) and go out on dates. we hug, kiss, say i love you. our situation is confusing but we arent currently seeing anyone else.
i love him so much, but every time i see him i feel horrible. guilty, shame, remorse. when he texts me, my heart feels so heavy.. i feel like i cannot look him in the eyes. seeing his numbness. seeing his old self shattered. he acts so different. he rarely laughs anymore, his tone has shifted. its my fault. i broke this man. my thoughts are scattered. i have nightmares about how badly i’ve hurt him. seeing him cry breaks me.

Having the nerves and willpower to do the intimidating task of home-cooking meals is nothing short of admirable. As well as staying hydrated! The fact Emily continues to master these is not given enough credit!
Also, the struggle was real for self-care like great sleep and managing stress. ExtraEmily tried so hard for this! Many philosophical debates were had on the collapsed on the Iron Forge floor!

I (F24) have been friends with this person (F24) since we where 16, and we're both 24 now. I get that life changes a lot. I would say I'm a relatively open and try to be patient because I don't just wanna throw my friends away, and I get that change is inetiable in life. Over the past year, she has definitely had a lot of changes, like marriage and children and now the second child. Sometimes I just feel like there is not really any interest in how I'm doing, but moreso I'm just the guest to all her events. Give an example, we have not seen eachther for 6 months and out of the blue she sends me an invitation to her childs birthday, a long list of present ideas. No one question of how I am doing. Naturally her life and stuff takes up a lot of space and energy, I get that. I just start to feel like I need more. I love deep conversation and to feel understood. But it feels superficial, and I almost feel used in a way like I have to give her all these presents, and that's pretty much what our friendship is based on. When we are together I notice that the conversation rarely is focused on me. It was fine when we where younger. I could take to some extend, because I get that we all need validation from friends. But lately I feel like it's not any balance in the friendship. I don't feel like she values any of the effort I put into our friendship. Forexample when she had her first child, I baked cupcakes, bought presents, and all that stuff for the baby-shower and she can't even remember what I gave her. Me and my boyfriend put SO much time and effort into finding something her child would like. I don't feel like she really expreses a lot of gratitude for any thing I do honestly. And now I am really unsure how to go about it. It makes me so sad. We are just different places in life. I just miss when our friendship felt more equal, but now I dont feel like there's any effort on her side. I don't need a lot just a bit more if that makes sense. Can I even do anything to make the situation better?

Hi everyone- thank you in advance for reading…. Although, TL;DR I am at my wit’s end- at this point, even with medication and counter conditioning it feels like it’s 1 step forward and 3 steps back. And I can’t pinpoint why! Why has her fear and anxiety gotten so much worse in the past 3 years? Is the issue lack of trust? If we had experienced some kind of traumatic event at least I would know what had triggered this, but we didn’t. I wish I could just talk to her and understand.
Has anyone else experienced a sudden regression in feaanxiety response (without a triggering event)? Or feaanxiety that doesn’t improve substantially even with treatment, but instead even worsens over time? If so, what did you do? How did you manage? And most of all- is there hope? I just want my adventure dog back.
I have had my dog since she was 6 months old- prior to adoption she was a found as a stray. She was skinny, had worms, and had a broken femur (suspected car accident).
I focused on healing her up, built trust, did basic training, and we became besties & mothedaughter. We definitely experienced separation anxiety, but it didn’t inhibit her. She has been slightly fearful of long car rides and traffic noise in the past, but she especially overcame this when we moved cross country in my car- there was a bit of help from trazadone there, but mostly because I wanted her to just sleep on our 9-10 hour driving days. The trip went well- she has been the best adventure buddy.
Fast forward to living in our new state- we moved 4 times in one year (pandemic!) before finding a wonderful permanent house with 2 women. I worked from home at first, then went back to the office but one of my housemates worked from home, and she had a dog who my dog was besties with. We rarely had issues with fear or anxiety during this time, only on the rare occasion of neighborhood fireworks (new years and July 4th). Her separation anxiety vastly improved in this living situation, and she was never really alone.
Then we reached a turning point: I began dating a person who lived 30 minutes away, who has a dog that ‘doesn’t know how to dog’ imo- history of reactivity (aggression), and even after getting them used to each other never learned how to play with my dog (who can play with any dog!) This somewhat long distance relationship involves me driving 30 mins to their house and 30 mins home every weekend. And my dog became INCREASINGLY anxious in the car, to the point of panting, shaking, drooling- nearly a full panic attack. We went to vet, described what was happening, they suggested trazadone - I tried it, because it had worked in the past, but it made her seem just high and still anxious now- like she felt out of control or something. So instead I focused on counter conditioning in the car as best I could with tons of high value treats on car rides, and this helped- for a time.
Housing situation changed due to landlord selling home, we had to move again to a neighborhood with lots of construction. (Also will mention that leases here often are July to July so moving right before firework holidays- ugh). She started to become increasingly noise adverse, more than ever before. Someone cold slam a door outside the house and she would go into full panic fear response. Car rides anywhere became awful!! Returned to vet, they suggested puppy prozac. Started her on that and found some improvement, but it was not the miracle drug I had been hoping for.
Finally, to date, partner and I move in together. My dog is now 6 yrs old. I am super excited to see her improve due to greater housing stability and wayyyyy less car rides. Of course, we have to get through a very difficult 4th of July again, right after a new move, but it is ok. However, her car ride fear is as awful as ever. At our annual vet check up they ask how she’s doing and I mention continuing fear responses so they suggest adding Clonodine to the Prozac, so I do. I saw a small amount of improvement. But just this weekend we drive out to dispersed camp, something she’s done MANY times- the car ride was bumpy/spicy at times and even with trazadone she had a full fear response. AND unfortunately the campsite was windy AF so she had a fear response the whole evening, to the point that she couldn’t settle at all, despite being exhausted - she shivered and shook, sitting at alert while struggling to keep her eyes open- it was heartbreaking to see her struggle so much with something we used to enjoy together.

So it’s quite the well-known fact that of Willo’s talent: Blastflower, is Willo’s best talent, at least statistically it does well. I won’t say it’s not because it is just that much better than her other two talents. But there’s a huge “why?” to it. In general, the factors of why talents are good or bad when compared to one another come from three factors: Their actual upsides, their actual downsides, and how they make someone play.If anyone takes a look at most talents in the game you’ll notice that most don’t list a downside, the “downside” of taking Darkstalker is the fact he’s not using either of his other talents, that and my technicality certain cards don’t work the same as they would if they were on a chained Netherstep and so this example sucks and I didn’t want to change what I had written, but that’s not the point. All talents have this drawback- the fact they’re not other talents. Some talents in their upsides come up short of their peers. Sometimes they’re not even a problem and it’s that one talent overwhelms the others with its sheer power- I’m not saying Blastflower needs to be nerfed even if the bar graphs are showing that (though it should on principle), that’s not what I’m saying.
The final issue is the playstyle that is incentivized by both Nightshade and Scorn actively making them contrast with their intended and more effective playstyles, I should say that Nightshade is less egregious than Scorn thought it still has problems.

Nightshade
By increasing the damage Nightshade does you make it an easy-to-land damage tool, in the previous guide I mentioned that Nightshade doesn’t have falloff, and that makes it incredibly useful for helping new players land it, however, it also gives the impression that you should use deadzone for dueling, which you shouldn’t since you’re now no longer using it for Area Denial or Crowd Control, however, if you don’t use it to fight squishies and just use it as normal you end up risking the chance you effectively have a non-talent since unless you save it for only hitting targets you might end up never taking the shot at all, that mixed with Deadzones cooldown makes it incredibly hard to use effectively for a reward that’s more or less able to be caught up with via Blastflower, even with a specialized build for Nightshade, my best advice for when to use this (outside of never) is to use it on TDM where the lack of tanks and objective gives plenty of room to use this for deathmatching.A side note, Nightshade is considered ability damage which ignores AP and instead can only be stopped by flat DR or AW.In conclusion, in the case of Nightshade, risks, by its incentivised damage amp rewarding using it for fighting targets rather than stopping healing, means it possibly loses out on the area denial, however, it still is capable of doing this job even if the reward of the talent may be lost, so the red isn’t a full stop, though the talent also risks not using the damage however, you will rarely not gain value from deadzone denying heal, and if you use it on a tank or a shield, that damage still exists so it won’t be losing out on its value since you still have use cases of Crowd Control, and Ensuring kills where you’d have used the ability in the same way regardless.
Blastflower
Willo’s meta talent, and by a large margin as it gives Willo the means to duel enemies more easily (without using deadzone to do so) gives her more damage against health pools and generally has no real downsides. It’s to the point it’s more or less self-explanatory but I shall elaborate regardless. Blastflower as a Talent works regardless of whatever else you have going on, by the nature of it being attached to her primary attack with no special gimmicks beyond just hitting the same person multiple times, this and its ability to consistently get this stacking damage even with splash damage (though increasing 125 damage by 90% still doesn’t kill anyone any time soon so still aim at target) means you can easily ramp up damage and land the absolutely lethal 900 damage, while normally these guides won’t be used for balance discussion I will say that they should reduce the max stacks by 1, capping Willo’s damage to 800, to allow for duels, and some tank shredding while at the same time not doing 900 goddamn damage. Since I genuinely believe any attempts at balancing Nightshade in its current state are hopeless and giving her scorched earth (perhaps at a weaker value or without the cooldown reduction to not entirely gut point tanks with a single ability no matter how little uptime it has) it’s hard to advise people about Blastflower beyond just hit your shots.Scorn
Okay so while I personally never looked at Scorn beyond it being just a weirder weaker version of the already weak accelerant, it was Snake (the person who does my math for me and helped me make this guide via his time on Willo) who made me realize the problems with it. We’ll talk about the positives first, it’ll be quick.- It does over 3500 damage if all seedlings hit
- It’s easier to use aggressively
- They are considered ability damage like Nightshade so all the same benefits apply.

I expected a different scenario because you seemed to have a specific set of future plans. It was said like it was a focused passion that would no doubt come to fruition. People change, plans change, values and goals change. I didn't think they would change so radically. That or you just played a character much like the ones you like to create in your fantasy writings. Writing might not even be your passion anymore. I couldn't guess what it would be.
I suppose this shouldn't even be a question. I am no stranger to being taken back by peoples actions and choices. I am basing this on what they have expressed themselves. Not sure if it was a lie or a change of heart. Most likely I didn't even know who they were as much as I thought I had. Fortune telling isn't a talent of mine nor is reading people. It is interesting to see. I still wonder about the how and why of what their life has become because I had an image of what would be and none of them would be the case. Some of those turned out to feel like miracles I never thought I'd see the day. I'd like to know, but I shouldn't question it because those I knew aren't the only ones.
I surprised myself with all the things that I never imagined I would experience and become. It seems all surreal now. It feels like it happened to someone else. I forget that it even happened. I am always wrong and have learned to appreciate that. Most have been forgotten I can't imagine a second round.

That or you just played a character much like the ones you like to create in your fantasy writings. Writing might not even be your passion anymore. I couldn't guess what it would be.
I suppose this shouldn't even be a question. I am no stranger to being taken back by peoples actions and choices. I am basing this on what they have expressed themselves. Not sure if it was a lie or a change of heart. Most likely I didn't even know who they were as much as I thought I had. Fortune telling isn't a talent of mine nor is reading people. It is interesting to see. I still wonder about the how and why of what their life has become because I had an image of what would be and none of them would be the case. Some of those turned out to feel like miracles I never thought I'd see the day. I'd like to know, but I shouldn't question it because those I knew aren't the only ones.
I surprised myself with all the things that I never imagined I would experience and become. It seems all surreal now. It feels like it happened to someone else. I forget that it even happened. I am always wrong and have learned to appreciate that. Most have been forgotten I can't imagine a second round.

I hope the devs will see this one, IMO the mafia update is one of the best updates for the game but in its current state, its severely lacking.
Add illegal business
The crimes tab is bit of lacking as of now, and the way the "ranks" within a mafia family are partaking in those illicit activities are kinda awkward, Caporegimes stealing cars? the Godfather personally extorting a business? that's unrealistic, I suggest that "wet work" types of crimes should only be reserved for the associates and the soldiers, while the the Caporegimes can start or set up illegal business', like the following:
Second, the Capos can set up the business' independently or the higher ups orders a certain business to be operated.
Third, a maximum of 5 business' should only be allowed for each Capo (if the player Capo has 5 gambling dens but the higher ups wants to set up a drug trafficking business, one of the gambling dens should be demolished.)
Fourth, the generating income for the player Capo from those business will be similar to how the family takes cuts from the crimes tabs
Fifth, a maximum of only 3 (+1 if you reach the Capo rank) capos for a mafia family and 5 (+1 if you reach the Capo rank) Capos for the Sicilian Mafia.
Sixth, each business will have varying "sizes", for example before you can set up the business you have to choose how big the operation would be, a small gambling den? a large drug trafficking ring? and each "sizes" will correspond to generated profit, a small gambling den will generate less profit compared to medium size one etc. and each "size" will also generate "heat" for your character Capo, the smaller the operation the lesser "heat" generated.
Lastly, like I said in the beginning, the associates & soldiers, each of them will be assigned in to a Capo, and the Capo can delegate "wet work" types of crimes for each of them.

They will also get a random orders from the Underboss or rarely from the godfathegodmother.
Underboss
In the mob, the Underboss is sometimes called the streetboss, because they oversee the entirety of the operations of the mob on a daily basis, he directly reports to the boss/godfather, so basing on that, the following options should be added into the game
The GodfatheGodmother
Day job
This option should be included, this will also be a good way to avoid police attention in-game or decrease your "heat", its awkward to see a unemployed schlep making millions of dollars every year and not get caught by the IRS or something lmao,
"Heat" system
For every crime you commit there a corresponding level of heat added to the character's overall "heat", the more serious the crime the more likely the police/feds will target you
Bodyguard system
As I observed in the game, you can easily whack anyone in your family, this should not be, by adding bodyguards, the chances of your success will decrease exponentially
The only sure-fire way to "whack" a family member is using the "put a contract" tab, the bodyguard system will not be in effect, because as the Godfather, every family member would obey you no question.
Mafia Wars
During a mafia war, business will generate lesser profits (or will even close down), the heat from the police will be much higher & funds will quickly diminish.
There will be only two ways to win a mafia war depending on the justification you chose, these will be:
Eliminate Competition
If you win the "take over their business" option, your illegal business will triple their profits, the rival family will be weakened, the police will be more wary of your crime family there's a big chance of rats & stings operations.
If other Crime Families sided with you during the war & you won, you will have to compensate them for 40 million
Ways to lose a mafia war
Some Factors in winning a Mafia War
Your family and friends should be wary of you being a mobster, for example, you mother or sister found out that your character is actually a mafia soldier, this will make them disown you, your relationships with them will instantly go to 0 & your happiness will also take a dive.
And the interactions within the mafia family should follow the hierarchy (For example, no associate should be able to directly access the GodfatheGodmother and ask him/her out to go and watch a concert of Lady Gaga lol)
Random Events
Random events should be according to your rank, for example, you're the current Mafia Godfather random events should be in line to your rank, a random guy suddenly insults you on the streets, there should be an option like putting a contract on his/her life or have your soldiers whack him/her or a celebrity starting a "beef" with you, you can either order your men to kill him or just order them beat him up.
Rival Gangs
If you choose to be in the Italian Mafia, your rivals should be the other gangs like Russian Mafia, Yakuza, Triad, Lating Mafia etc and If you're in Sicily, the rival family will be another Sicilian Mafia (i.e You're family is the Visconti Family your rivals will be another Sicilian family)
There should be also family rankings, for example, the Italian Mafia is the current most powerful crime syndicate in the city, followed by the Russian Mafia, followed by the Latin Mafia etc the rankings can change yearly depending on how much muscle (number of soldiers) & income of the families earn, you can also be the most powerful crime family for 10 years if you won a mafia war. If you choose to start a Mafia War the other families can join sides, for example the Italian Mafia waged a war against the Yakuza, the other families will join which side they want, or if you formed an alliance with another mafia family, they will side with you during the war no matter what.

- Settle disputes (this will improve the income of your crew, settle any disputes among the soldiers & associates or sort out any grudges)
- Do favors (you can grant favors to to local people, like a school teacher, a lawyer, a small business owner or even a municipal judge etc, you can later "cash in" with these favors, may it be monetary value for the family, legal protection or personal wealth etc.)
They will also get a random orders from the Underboss or rarely from the godfathegodmother.
Underboss
In the mob, the Underboss is sometimes called the streetboss, because they oversee the entirety of the operations of the mob on a daily basis, he directly reports to the boss/godfather, so basing on that, the following options should be added into the game
- Collect contributions/tribute (this is for the illegal business', this is only available once a year)
- Add a business (You'll order a Capo to operate a certain business)

- Delegate a hit (when the godfathegodfather orders a hit the underboss will delegate it with one of their capos, the success depends on the capos intellect & willpower)
- Perform charity (at the behest of the godfathegodmother, you'll perform charity works to lower down the police attention of the family, lesser sting operations, lesser rats popping up. Just like the "bribe a judge" option, charity foundations will also be reluctant to accept funds if your heat/notoriety levels are too high)
- Bribe a judge (to protect family members from prosecution, depending the amount of money being given, the maximum years of legal protection will be 15, for example a soldier got caught murdering a rival family soldier, if the Underboss bribed a judge, the family soldier will not be convicted. the success of the bribe depends on the Underboss' "Heat"/Notoriety level, the higher the heat/notoriety the lesser chance the bribe will be successful, if yo fail to bribe a judge, you can be also arrested and tried)
- Procure weapons (Distribute weapons to each of the crews, it may be small handguns, shotguns or even assault rifles, this will increase protection of the business' and of the members of the family from the rival family during mafia wars, this option should available during peace time & mafia wars)
- Will also get a random orders from the GodfatheGodmother
The GodfatheGodmother
- Wage a mafia war against your rival family, there will be two sub options for this part, the justifications will either be "eliminate competition" (total destruction of the rival crime family) or "take over their business"(a "skirmish" type of conflict, instead of eliminating the rival family you instead take some of the "turfs") AI GodfatheGodmother should be able to wage a mafia war
- When a mafia war is ongoing, there will also be options for the GodfatheGodmother to pick, like "destroy rivals business", "take out their soldiers", "raid a rivals business" (unlike the destroy one, your soldiers will only raid for money), "order the hit of the boss of the rival family", "call for political support" (this basically calling on the police to take your side against your rivals, this is only available when you have a political ally, and depending on the position of your political ally if your political ally is a senator he/she can instantly imprison majority of the members of the rival family, if your political ally is the mayor of the city the only thing he/she can is increase the sting operations of the rival family), "ensue peace" (this can go both ways, when you lost the war you can still ensue peace, but the consequence will be either you're will be removed as the boss or worse be killed, and when you win, depending the choice you made for the cause of the war, you will be rewarded handsomely and a chance your rival family will be wiped out)
- Form alliance (Instead of going to war, you can also have the option end the rivalry between the families and start an alliance, work together in terms of business, this will generate bigger profits for your family but the downside is the police/feds will be now more active to take you down, more sting operations, more rats popping up)
- Support a local politician ( sub options are "fund a his/her election campaign" (or you can go to a more devious plot like rigging the elections), "eliminate his/her political enemies", "give a gift" etc, after gaining a political ally, you can now use him/her for your own ends, like "ask for political protection", "clean criminal records" etc.
- Support a national politician, same as the "support a local politician", besides the basic benefits, the benefits you receive if your national political bet wins (senator or presidency) your heat will be erased, no sting operations, no rats, if caught by the authorities the charges will be dropped and lastly if your character is engaged in a mob war, this political ally can instantly imprison the majority of the members of the rival family, thus increasing your chance in winning in a mob war. Downside is its much harder for your political bet to win, if you want a successful results or chance to win, either rig the elections (high risk of getting caught) or contribute 250 million into his/her campaign
- Order a business to be operated (same as the Underboss option)
- Put out a hit/put a contract (you can choose anyone from relatives, enemies, random people, friends and anyone in the family)
- Promote an underboss (when the current underboss dies, you can instantly promote any Capo for that position)
- Policy making (The GodfatheGodmother dictates on how the family runs its "business'" and passes certain "laws" within the family, for example, you can outright ban the drug trafficking business to reduce heat from the authorities or only men can join the family vice versa)
- Appoint front boss (appoint a "front boss" to insulate yourself from the feds/authorities, if your political bets didn't win the election you may choose this option instead, it lowers your heat/notoriety levels, lesser sting operations waged against you, and even if a sting operation is successful, the front boss will be the one who takes the fall & and rival family will have a hard time assassinating you during a mob war, The disadvantages are, it doesn't lower the chances of having rat in your family & no political backup during a mob war)
- Distribute funds (when a crew is an dire straits you may give them necessary funds to operate, the Capo will automatically owe you a "favor", you can later "cash in" these favors in terms of personal wealth, like cars, planes, boats, rings, or even properties)
- Go legitimate (This option will only be available when you're already the godfathegodmother for more than 15 years and have the enough funds (around 100m), this will dissolve all the illegal business of the family and turn you into a CEO of a legit company)
- Step down (retire as the GodfatheGodmother, to let the younger generation to take over, this option will increase health & happiness for the player character, and erases the notoriety/heat levels completely & you will also receive 250 million dollars, random events will pop up like a Caporegime from your family paying respects to you, a soldier seeks your advice/wisdom, or the underboss visits you to reminisce the good "old days" etc. these events will either increase your happiness or health)
Day job

Blue tickets: Every time I get a red chest, I use a blue ticket to upgrade it. That way the red chest isn’t occupying a square while I wait on a new chest (because they don’t come along all that often), and I think I’m getting a high value since I’m trading it for something with a cost of 200 gems. This has also worked out well because the producers from the red chest get used so frequently, getting pieces to build and upgrade the work benches and knitting baskets is a big help. (I was pretty proud of myself when I came up with this strategy, lol, so I’m eager to hear how it compares to other ideas.)
Black tickets: So rare, I don’t have a strategy, but I used one that I had to upgrade a broom closet. I’m still holding one, so hoping for suggestions.

I (38F) have recently decided to dip my toes back in to the flaming cesspool that is dating in this modern age. I joined an app, matched with a few guys, talked with a few less, and had a dinner date last night with F (40M) who I felt like I was vibing with via text.
F and I had agreed to meet last night at a nice but not stupidly-expensive steakhouse in a popular upscale district downtown. I had originally planned on driving my Jeep, but it has been at the shop for maintenance and they still hadn't finished by COB Friday. I live too far out of town for Uber to be reliable, so I decided to have fun and drive my new car that was just delivered this week. I got to the restaurant 45 minutes early, valet-parked (I would have done this with the Jeep too, parking in this district is a complete nightmare), and walked down the block to a stationary/book binding boutique I love to pick up a few things. When I walked back to the restaurant to meet F I was a little surprised to see my car was still parked out front of the restaurant in one of the reserved spots instead of being moved back to the designated lot. I asked and found out that the valet company policy was for any car over a certain value threshold be left in the reserved spots out front both to keep an eye on them, and so that the company wouldn't have the liability of a valet potentially damaging them driving. That made perfect sense to me, so I didn't ask them to move it to the back.
F met me at the host stand and after about five minutes got seated at our table. Hilariously to me, we got seated next to the window looking directly out at my car.
Dinner started off... ok? F started off pretty affable, but started making little comments early on about my dress, and what I ordered and how I wanted my steak cooked - he tried to insist to our server that I really wanted medium when I had ordered my steak cooked blue. I joked to the server that when I said I wanted my steak blue (for those who don't know, "blue" is extra-rare), that that might actually be too well-done for me, better just bring it out raw. The server laughed, but F was quiet.
Conversation after that was pretty one-sided. He did ask me "what do you do for a job" (my standard answer is working at an animal sanctuary. It's not technically a lie...), which he scoffed at and made a comment about how I "must not make any money doing that" and "are you sure you can cover your bill here?". I laughed it off, but definitely found it rude.
Once I asked him about his job he completely took over the conversation. He went on ad nauseam about his job in finance at a major corporation, but once he started in about what a great investment crypto is I knew for sure he wasn't getting a second date. Honestly, it felt like I was talking to someone completely different than who I had been texting, and I was not a fan.
I had ordered desert to go, when for some reason, probably trying to impress me? F pointed out the window at what just so happened to be MY car, saying that he was doing so well in crypto he had just picked it up at the dealership, and was getting another next week just because he could.
Now some important backstory: in my very early 20s I won a significant lottery jackpot. Initially I absolutely went stupid and was spending money like an asshole, but after a few months one of my uncle's (a self-made multi-millionaire) sat me down, made me run the numbers with him, and showed me how if I kept doing what I was doing I would be broke before I was 40. He helped me get a good financial planner, and to make long-term plans. As a result over time I've still been able to have and do pretty much whatever I want as long as I don't decide to do something stupid like have a jet for every week of the year, and my money has actually grown. I've helped my close friend's and family out (and only gotten burned once), invest in local small businesses, and donate to charities that mean something to me.
I now live on a large farm outside of our major Midwestern city. And while I do travel all around the world, I spend the majority of my time training and showing horses, as well as providing homes for horses that have been rescued from the slaughter pipeline and can't be repurposed back to work, or retired show horses that need a soft spot to land (and various other animals, like pigs, alpacas, and an absolute hoard of chickens. Someone offered me a giraffe once, and I had to politely decline). And yes, I do actually do a lot of the hands-on work myself, although I have other people who clean the stalls and help with the general caretaking of the retired crowd, which is why it's not really lying when I say I 'work at an animal sanctuary'.
Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the finer things in life like the latest tech and designer clothes, bags, and shoes, but as I've matured I tend to not go for the flashy "logo" option. Except for one thing...
I love fast cars. My daily-driver is a Jeep that I've had for 10 years, and I have a big truck for farm stuff (I didn't drive it to dinner because it is huge and will not fit in any of the garages downtown), but I also have a small collection of late-model Lamborghinis, starting with the Murcielago I bought during my "asshole spending" phase. I also have a Gallardo, an Aventador, a Huracan, and this week I finally had my Revuelto delivered after ordering it more than a year ago. The Revuelto is what I decided to drive to my date, because I just couldn't resist the excuse to drive the new toy.
Now, back to F trying to claim my car as his. On my best day I am a sarcastic bitch, and this opportunity was too much for me to pass up. I started playing along, asking him "omg, isnt that a Lambor-jeenie Hurricane?", which he confirmed it was, and "would he take me for a ride in it after dinner?" He said maybe on our second date he would.
Basically for the next 10 minutes until we settled our checks he bullshitted his way through my questions about the "Hurricane", and how he could help me invest in crypto so I could have nice things too, and "get some nicer clothes from somewhere better than Target, because my girlfriend should only wear designer". For the record, I love Target and have a lot of clothes from there, but I was wearing a dress from The Row to dinner and my bag and shoes were designer as well, just without obvious logos for him to pick up on.
We walked out of the restaurant together and he made a show of telling me and anyone who would listen (there was a small crowd looking at my car and taking pictures with it, which is fine with me as long as they dont lean/sit on it) that he had an errand to run and would be picking his car up from the valet later, but he would wait with me until my car got brought up. I (38F) have recently decided to dip my toes back in to the flaming cesspool that is dating in this modern age. I joined an app, matched with a few guys, talked with a few less, and had a dinner date last night with F (40M) who I felt like I was vibing with via text.
F and I had agreed to meet last night at a nice but not stupidly-expensive steakhouse in a popular upscale district downtown. I had originally planned on driving my Jeep, but it has been at the shop for maintenance and they still hadn't finished by COB Friday. I live too far out of town for Uber to be reliable, so I decided to have fun and drive my new car that was just delivered this week. I got to the restaurant 45 minutes early, valet-parked (I would have done this with the Jeep too, parking in this district is a complete nightmare), and walked down the block to a stationary/book binding boutique I love to pick up a few things. When I walked back to the restaurant to meet F I was a little surprised to see my car was still parked out front of the restaurant in one of the reserved spots instead of being moved back to the designated lot. I asked and found out that the valet company policy was for any car over a certain value threshold be left in the reserved spots out front both to keep an eye on them, and so that the company wouldn't have the liability of a valet potentially damaging them driving. That made perfect sense to me, so I didn't ask them to move it to the back.
F met me at the host stand and after about five minutes got seated at our table. Hilariously to me, we got seated next to the window looking directly out at my car.
Dinner started off... ok? F started off pretty affable, but started making little comments early on about my dress, and what I ordered and how I wanted my steak cooked - he tried to insist to our server that I really wanted medium when I had ordered my steak cooked blue. I joked to the server that when I said I wanted my steak blue (for those who don't know, "blue" is extra-rare), that that might actually be too well-done for me, better just bring it out raw. The server laughed, but F was quiet.
Conversation after that was pretty one-sided. He did ask me "what do you do for a job" (my standard answer is working at an animal sanctuary. It's not technically a lie...), which he scoffed at and made a comment about how I "must not make any money doing that" and "are you sure you can cover your bill here?". I laughed it off, but definitely found it rude.
Once I asked him about his job he completely took over the conversation. He went on ad nauseam about his job in finance at a major corporation, but once he started in about what a great investment crypto is I knew for sure he wasn't getting a second date. Honestly, it felt like I was talking to someone completely different than who I had been texting, and I was not a fan.
I had ordered desert to go, when for some reason, probably trying to impress me? F pointed out the window at what just so happened to be MY car, saying that he was doing so well in crypto he had just picked it up at the dealership, and was getting another next week just because he could.
Now some important backstory: in my very early 20s I won a significant lottery jackpot. Initially I absolutely went stupid and was spending money like an asshole, but after a few months one of my uncle's (a self-made multi-millionaire) sat me down, made me run the numbers with him, and showed me how if I kept doing what I was doing I would be broke before I was 40. He helped me get a good financial planner, and to make long-term plans. As a result over time I've still been able to have and do pretty much whatever I want as long as I don't decide to do something stupid like have a jet for every week of the year, and my money has actually grown. I've helped my close friend's and family out (and only gotten burned once), invest in local small businesses, and donate to charities that mean something to me.
I now live on a large farm outside of our major Midwestern city. And while I do travel all around the world, I spend the majority of my time training and showing horses, as well as providing homes for horses that have been rescued from the slaughter pipeline and can't be repurposed back to work, or retired show horses that need a soft spot to land (and various other animals, like pigs, alpacas, and an absolute hoard of chickens. Someone offered me a giraffe once, and I had to politely decline). And yes, I do actually do a lot of the hands-on work myself, although I have other people who clean the stalls and help with the general caretaking of the retired crowd, which is why it's not really lying when I say I 'work at an animal sanctuary'.
Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the finer things in life like the latest tech and designer clothes, bags, and shoes, but as I've matured I tend to not go for the flashy "logo" option. Except for one thing...
I love fast cars. My daily-driver is a Jeep that I've had for 10 years, and I have a big truck for farm stuff (I didn't drive it to dinner because it is huge and will not fit in any of the garages downtown), but I also have a small collection of late-model Lamborghinis, starting with the Murcielago I bought during my "asshole spending" phase. I also have a Gallardo, an Aventador, a Huracan, and this week I finally had my Revuelto delivered after ordering it more than a year ago. The Revuelto is what I decided to drive to my date, because I just couldn't resist the excuse to drive the new toy.
Now, back to F trying to claim my car as his. On my best day I am a sarcastic bitch, and this opportunity was too much for me to pass up. I started playing along, asking him "omg, isnt that a Lambor-jeenie Hurricane?", which he confirmed it was, and "would he take me for a ride in it after dinner?" He said maybe on our second date he would.
Basically for the next 10 minutes until we settled our checks he bullshitted his way through my questions about the "Hurricane", and how he could help me invest in crypto so I could have nice things too, and "get some nicer clothes from somewhere better than Target, because my girlfriend should only wear designer". For the record, I love Target and have a lot of clothes from there, but I was wearing a dress from The Row to dinner and my bag and shoes were designer as well, just without obvious logos for him to pick up on.
We walked out of the restaurant together and he made a show of telling me and anyone who would listen (there was a small crowd looking at my car and taking pictures with it, which is fine with me as long as they dont lean/sit on it) that he had an errand to run and would be picking his car up from the valet later, but he would wait with me until my car got brought up. Hi yall! So I matched w a guy recently on hinge about 4-5 days ago, and after a day we moved onto Instagram dms. For reference, we're both 19, and I personally have never been liked back (as far as I'm aware) or in a relationship. Also have not had my first kiss or anything like that.. I rarely ever match w ppl and if I do, I rarely ever talk to them more than a day or two. Boys my age kind of suck lol, as l'm sure many have noticed. However, this one seemed relatively interesting and we were able to get a good convo going more than a couple of times.
I am a really terrible texter who struggles to reply in a timely manner, yet for 2-3 nights in a row, I found myself texting him for like an hour or more at a time up until 2-3am. I NEVER do that, even w my own friends lol. So I took that as a very good sign and it seemed that he did as well, literallt saying he was excited to meet me, if this was how well we got along over text.
I should preface that I'm not a huge flirter and it seems like he isn't either (?) but he definitely flirted more than I did. He said like a corny pick up line as a joke once, then on hinge was like "you're my type in a way that makes me regret that I met you on hinge LOL" like silly things like that.
He told me he looked thru my instagram and was perplexed by how awesome I was. I liked it cause he was never overtly like "you're so beautiful" or whatever it was always some like corny sheepish little message abt how he thought I was cool or "looked great" lol.
Anyways, things seemed to be going well and I was getting excited up until like 2 days ago. We had a flow of texting each other around 10 pm to catch up on our days together and when I texted him he became strangely dry. This continued into the next day, and then a full day passed where he did not text me- I did not text him either because the prior day, I initiated the convo and that was when he was dry for a second time, worse than the first. However, at some point amidst this dry spell, we made official plans to meet this coming Saturday, a week from today. So that also threw me off— why be dry with me but then also go through with making plans?
After 24 hrs of no texting he texts me at like 3am “shit sorry l've been really busy how was ur day" and so today we've continued talking. It's not dry anymore, I think, but definitely not as fast and excitable as our first few convos.
What also is making me hesitate is that as we were texting, I was mentioning how I was a grade above him and he sent a message along the lines of "I like em older " very obviously as a goofy joke, but then deleted it right away. I still saw it though and I'm unsure as to whether he deleted it because he thought it was stupid and inappropriate, or if he did not want to lead me on romantically any further.
The thing abt not liking flirting is that l often end up in these situations where now I can't tell if he's still romantically interested or not. Because he wasn't a huge flirter before but there was obvious interest in our convos, so now that this took a bit of a turn, I can't help but wonder if he's lost interest or something. I should mention that today he told me he had a really stressful day yesterday (the 24 hrs of no texting day) and he had a panic attack. So he very well could've been not texting because of that. But I don't know.. I really can't tell if this is just in my head or if the signs are glaringly obvious. I was really excited about this; as I said, I rarely like guys and never have I been liked back.
So to see the potential of a spark here, I could not help but find myself getting really excited and thinking about him, which I tend to avoid doing as to not set myself up for disappointment. But after that 2 day period of dryness, I can't help but put my walls up again and feel the disappointment lingering in the back of my head...
I will also admit, I do have deep rooted insecurities, especially about my appearance. I was quite the ugly duckling up until midway through highschool, hence my lack of relationships or attention from guys thus far. I think I have a great personality and a lot of other good traits, but I live in a city where I just know boys, especially my age, value appearance over all else. And this guy is pretty darn cute! My friends thought he was okay but I think he's a touch out of my league lol. I also suspect that I may have found what his ex looks like and she is far prettier than me; but it sounds like she messed him up a whole lot.. mentioning all this incase it has to do with me potentially overthinking.

Hi everyone, I’m dealing with both insulin resistance and prediabetes. I’ve been on metformin for quite a while, but it didn’t seem to be making much of a difference. About three months ago, my dosage was increased to 2000 mg per day. This has brought my fasting insulin down from 22 to 11.7, which is good news. However, my HbA1c remains stubbornly high, fluctuating between 6.1 and 6.3.
I’m frustrated because I eat healthy, go to the gym four times a week, and do both cardio and weight training. I rarely eat processed food and am mindful of the quality and quantity of my meals. Has anyone else struggled with high HbA1c values despite being on metformin? What helped bring it down for you? A combination of metformin with other meds? I would love to hear some success stories. I have had bad experiences with substances before, mainly stemming from a toxic group of people I have left behind. Therefore, I have become somewhat afraid of any kind of substance. My girlfriend respects my beliefs and values. However, I would say she is a bit more flexible when it comes to the topic of substances, particularly alcohol. I want to make it clear that she very rarely drinks, only on special occasions maybe two or three times a year, and every time she intentionally gets drunk. During these times, I get extremely uncomfortable and upset, and I want to physically and mentally distance myself from her when she is intoxicated. I may go to another room or preoccupy myself with another activity. We've communicated about this before, and she does say that she understands and only drinks if we both agree that it's okay. However I feel really bad and am very worried that I'm restricting her from a normal part of adult life. I don't want to hold her back from having a good time with her friends, so I often allow her to without protest. I don't want to seem like a doormat, but I just don't know how I can overcome this fear and become more comfortable with seeing her in an intoxicated state. I really don't want to be a square and overly sensitive about alcohol, and I want my girlfriend to not feel restricted by me in any way. How could overcome these feelings I get any time she's drunk?

Well, my thought is that we all band together and create scarcity. I have accumulated so many books while hunting keys that are essentially worthless.
I have a stack of New Universe 80's Marvel books I can't give away.
Why don't we destroy all the New Universe books (for example) we get our hands on until there are not many left? We would create scarcity and bring interest and value to these books. We would bring life back to them through destruction.
Are you with me? I have a stack of DP7's and other that will make great kindling. We can all post videos of these books being destroyed until they are rare and have life again!

In particular, they were to feed on the invertebrates and fruit that were growing in abundance in tropical regions of the world; as such, they were spliced with hammerhead bat, common and white-winged vampire bat, little brown bat, and large flying fox to give them both a sufficient size and a wide range of diet that was to ensure that they wouldn’t starve during early lean years. A mating pair was thus created to study their affects in a controlled environment and see how well they adapt to their environment and how they would cope with the pressures they might face. Unfortunately, the secure research facility that they were contained in was attacked and destroyed by an unknown party, releasing the one entity most feared by the staff: the Yog. When the Yog searched for a suitable host, it found the pair instead. With no other option, the Yog infected the two despite their screeches playing havoc on him. As they mutated and grew in stature, Yog mutated and grew a certain immunity to sonic waves up to a point. After they finished growing, the two new Titans were ravenous, so Yog commanded them to devour nine entire costal villages before raiding a nuclear plant in the dead of night so that they had enough energy for the long voyage. After roosting in an isolated cavern nearby, Bagorah and Korghan then proceeded to make a journey across the North Atlantic Ocean, attacking and sinking ships of all sizes along the way. As the US Navy scrambled to search for the cause of so many sinking vessels, Bagorah and Korghan land in Miami, Florida and go on a devastating rampage that levels multiple areas of the city and kill many people. Under the directions of Yog, Bagorah and Korghan move towards the largest concentration of animal life that was closest to their position: Greater Miami Zoo. Once there, they proceed to infect as many animals as they could, creating an army of Super Fauna under the control of the Space Amoeba. Once this was completed, they then went on the march, following the coast and moving towards South America and the amazon rainforest, on of the largest and richest ecosystems in the world. Fortunately for mankind, this doomsday army was halted at the city of Galveston by a coalition of Titans led by Showa Godzilla and Gorgo. While the other amoeba-controlled mutants were bogged down by the other Titans, Bagorah and Korghan fought the Gojiras and Gorgo directly. The fight was long and brutal, both sides dealing harsh blows that knocked any unwary mutant that strayed too close unconscious. When Gorgo was isolated and pinned down, Bagorah and Korghan feasted on his blood, unable to resist their primal instincts anymore. The intake of DNA caused Yog to experience a sudden, uncontrollable series of mutations that left both mutant Titans paralyzed. All the sudden, every piece of the Space Amoeba left the bodies of every single mutant Titan present and converged upon the two pieces that were formerly within Bagorah and Korghan, taking the form that Yog keeps to this day. Resuming his own battle, Yog viciously fought with the trio while the two bat Titans watched on from their perches on a couple of skyscrapers. Though now free from Yog’s direct influence, they still felt a kinship with him and were conflicted over whether or not they should flee the scene to lick their wounds. By the time Yog had been defeated and sent scurrying into the hollow earth, however, Bagorah and Korghan had long since fled back across the ocean and further east, never truly stopping until they reached their current location. Bagorah and his mate rarely leave their location, only doing so when summoned by either Battra or Yog or when they seek larger prey beyond their island. •of the two, Bagorah is by far more aggressive and hotheaded than Korghan, preferring to get into the thick of it and crack some skulls open and use brute force to solve any issues. Korghan, on the other hand, is more level headed and prefers to either outthink her opponent or use diplomacy to avoid conflict outright; caution should still be taken, however, for she’s just as dangerous as her mate, with faster attacks and movements due to her smaller size and lighter build. Amongst their allies in Battra’s alliance, some would be shocked to learn that they are the most consistent and reliable heavy hitters of them all when it has the likes of Kumonga, Tlanusi and Sasori. In practice, however, things are much different: Kumonga is usually too indifferent to the plight of nature, Tlanusi is usually deep asleep and unable to be roused by anyone, and Sasori is too much of a wild card to be relied upon for any period of time. Once Bagorah and Korghan are committed to a task or goal, however, they will stick to it to the bitter end, no matter how long it takes. This, combined with their desire to actually support and sustain the world’s ecosystem, makes them consistent and reliable allies for Battra to call upon any time he needs to. The only thing that somewhat sours their relationship with each other is Bagorah and Korghan’s ravenous appetite that repeatedly see them get into conflict with Titans on the other islands when chasing down larger prey. This, combined with their habit to periodically deplete their island of large prey, has caused them to be a lesser thorn in the sides of Battra and Monarch, who seek to maintain a stable population of Mega Fauna on the Skull Island chain. •of the two, Bagorah is the most likely of the two to leave the island and wonder around the world to explore, his sense of curiosity driving him to seek new things to discover and map out. Such curiosity has often led him to get into all sorts of trouble, which usually involves him brawling with other Titans when he unintentionally enters their territory. He’s seen the most fights with Venria, Zeus and Tiamat, since Bagorah has an undying hatred for those who have such an insufferable and arrogant personality and abrasive attitude. It has gotten to the point that Bagorah seems to go out of his way to goad them into a fight, using his ear-piercing, sonic screeches to taunt and harass them until they either attack or retreat into a spot out of his range. Korghan, on the other hand, seems to mostly stick to the island entirely, patrolling its shores and keeping any wondering Titans away with her piercing shrieks when they get too close. The only times she ever leaves the island for extended periods of time are when Battra calls upon her for help or Bagorah manages to successfully coax her into joining him on one of his exploration journeys into the hollow earth and usually ends with both of them brawling with an enraged Titan that Bagorah had unwisely taunted and goaded until they snapped. Despite her very apparent anger towards her mate whenever this happens, Korghan seems to be willing to forgive Bagorah every single time. Despite their clashing personalities, differences and demeanors, however, the two are very loyal towards one another and have rebuffed multiple attempts by other bat Titans to court them. In fact, it’s Korghan who seems to act more aggressively towards other female bat Titans that try to court Bagorah than he does towards male Titans. This interesting quirk is still under study, but it has been theorized by the more conspiracist researchers that Bagorah secretly enjoys the attention he gets and is ashamed of it, which drives Korghan into a frenzy to protect her mate and save him from such uncomfortable situations. •despite two of the bats that went into their genetic makeup being fruit eaters, the vampire bat and little brown bat within their makeup was amplified and further enhanced by Yog have caused them to become obligate carnivores, ingesting fruit, seeds and other plant matter in order to supplement their diet. Their main source of prey are Megapedes, Water-Vipers, Lesser Goliath Krakens and Skull Crawlers, with sauropods and other creatures of similar mass sometimes being preyed upon if there are no other sources of nutrients available. Megapedes, in particular, are amongst their favorites because they can use the creature’s naturally occurring toxins as a deterrent for skin parasites by rubbing it in their fur, wings, tail and face. Their most preferred prey, however, is the Lesser Goliath Kraken due its sheer bulk and the ease of preserving it in one of the salt-filled caves that they like to frequent. In fact, when researchers explored one of these caverns whilst Bagorah and Korghan were away on one of their explorations of the hollow earth, they discovered dozens of well preserved Lesser Goliath Krakens that showed signs of being casually nibbled upon and consumed; when taking samples to see how long they were preserved, they were startled to discover that the oldest carcass dated back to late 1999, just over ten years ago. This has led to Monarch researching into the preservation properties of the salt caverns of Skull Island Minor to see what could preserve dead matter so perfectly that they look like they were just killed a few days ago. Recently, however, such potentially groundbreaking research has been halted due to drastic changes in the two Titans. •behavior of the two bat Titans has completely changed, leaving Monarch both confused and suspicious. It has been noted that Korghan has been sticking to the valley that she and Bagorah roost in the mountain range exclusively, picking up trees and other such shrubbery with a delicateness unseen before and taking them back to their main cavern. The only documentation that they could get before they were chased off by Bagorah was that it appears that she’s building a nest of some sort, using the tree trunks to build a crude wall and using the leaves and branches to create a soft (for them) bedding. The last sighting Monarch has received from the outpost station has noted that Korghan has put on not insignificant amount of weight, and seems to have grown to prefer skulking along the ground in a loping gate instead of flying, which may tie in to her weight gain. Bagorah seems to have done a 180 on some of his behavior, becoming much more reclusive and reluctant to leave the island unless it’s to chase sufficiently large prey; he now spends his days aggressively patrolling the shores of the island, the entrances to the mountainous region and the island’s single entrance to the hollow earth when he’s not excessively hunting prey of any sufficiently large size down and taking it to their roost, only to do it again immediately after. It has gone on for long enough that he’s been spotted boldly raiding territories that he once avoided in order to hunt their plentiful stocks of Mega Fauna and take them back to their caverns. More alarming about the change in Bagorah’s behavior in that he has become increasingly aggressive and suspicious towards any Titans or human craft of any kind that shows even a hint towards going to the island. A few much lesser Titans have even been found to have been ruthlessly attacked and killed by Bagorah, their bodies missing chunks of themselves that were taken by Bagorah himself as food. Things escalated slightly when a few freighters were found in ruins near the island’s coast, everything of even the remotest value was destroyed, though the crews were lucky to escape with only moderate injuries. Though the companies that owned those freighters had lobbied heavily for military action against Bagorah for the economic loss sustained by his attacks, Monarch was able to get it vetoed by pointing out the recent collapse of his paths of patrolling to only the mountainous region of the island. This has also allowed Monarch to regain communications with their outposts, who have reported that Bagorah himself now rarely leaves the surrounding valleys that connect to their roost and has blocked off the other entrances to the main cavern besides one that is easily defendable. Though some more aggressive personnel have suggested that they crack open the cavern and see what is going on, Ishirō Serizawa, now head of Monarch after the arrest of the previously head after their arrest due to their part in the attempted recreation of the Oxygen Destroyer, vetoed it on the grounds of just how a bad idea it was to do so and ordered that they be monitored for any changes to their behavior and movements.
