Hi! I am an ex teacher, who just returned to Limerick after working abroad for many years. I decided to try something new, learned how to code a bit over the last few months and created this webapp. I am looking for testers/feedback on the product and the mods were okay with me posting.
A bit about the webapp:
1) input a pdf, doc, ppt, txt, youtube link or wikipedia article (can also handle mp3 and wav files but it is a bit slow with those at the moment, I m working on improving that)
2) turn it into a variety of teaching material, things like flashcards (multiple choice questions, definitions, fill in the blanks, translations (don't have Irish yet but will include it soon)...) or summaries, notes, transcriptions.
3) Once you have created that content it is stored in decks, which you can then turn into tests/worksheets to print out, or even assign them through the platform. Decks can also be shared with others, there is a public deck page, and if you share a deck with a student they can study it on the platform as there is a spaced repetition system functionality.
It has been a real challenge getting this far but I hope I can make something that is truly useful. Any feedback would be incredibly useful in getting me there. I know there are a few other companies in this space making something similar, but I m hoping my approach can offer some extra value.
I have usage limits in place (have to do so for free accounts otherwise I would lose too much money on costs) but if anyone creates an account and then messages me that they are from
