Pressure washer leak
I’m pretty much a newbie when it comes to these things, so please bear with me. I’m using this pressure washer that was handed to me by my mom’s ex. I don’t know it’s model or how old it is, but I know it is 5+ years old. Anyways, the old hose was bad and I had to replace it. I had to hammer out the old hose because it was rusted into the male piece of the pressure washer. You can see what the female part of the hose looks like in image 2. I put on the new hose and tightened it with a wrench (I don’t know if this was the right move). Now when I turn it on, there’s a pretty substantial leak coming from where the hose and pressure washer meets. The gun still has enough pressure to get the job done, but I just want to get this fully operational again. How can I fix this?
