[[General Marhault elsdragon]] “Whenever a creature you control becomes blocked, it gets +3/+3 until end of turn for each creature blocking it.”
Im looking for good budget creature cards (sub 1$) to actually swing with for this deck.
Im thinking first strike / double strike + trample.
I already have the classic sac to do ____ cards like [[Fling]] and [[Lifes legacy]]
Block all cards like [[Lure]]
With the unique power up these cards can stack even a [[charging badger]] could one shot a token deck.
Any deck tech im missing TYIA

2024.05.14 18:56 SmokeyMcBongwater_ Rework Kang to end the game on turn 5
Hear me out. Because of how good knocking down sand castles is with tech cards and the fart cloud nerf, a lot of decks are trying to throw priority or wait to put out power until the last turn. Off the top of my head, this ability directly affects Hela, Magik, and Red Hulk. Leech being 4 cost now could be problematic but if they changed him back to 5 cost it’d be perfect. Shouldn’t be too hard to see coming and you’re almost throwing away your last turn, but it changes the way snap is played in a healthier way imo. Lmk what yall think

2024.05.14 18:18 catololo Exosisters deck questions
| Hey everyone, I've been using Exosister for the last couple of months and it's been super fun. But I keep losing against the meta decks (snake eyes, labyrinth, tearlaments) pretty consistently, unless I go second and have enough hand traps to avoid them making a full board. Ive seen people saying to use dimension shifter or retaliating c so you can lock them out of their GY stuff, but then if Im trying to get to Exosister Magnifica on my turn for example, I will end up sending a bunch of the starters to the banish pile. Which I dont really have access to. For Exosister duelist out there: - Is dimension shifter worth it? and how do you deal with your starters going to the banish pile?
- Asophiel seems pretty strong against the decks mentioned above. How many Asophiels are yall running?
- Any tech cards that I must include?
- How many aratamas are yall running? And how many Sakitamas?
- Apart from the xyz rank 4 exosisters. What other rank 4s or links are you running?

2024.05.14 18:05 BoomTartanArmy New player: Which keyboard keys have helped you in game?
Hi rimworldians. Bought this game 4-5 weeks ago and it's totally absorbed me. Restarted more colonies than colonies I've manged to research past the hi tech research table. I had been playing this game on steam deck then I got a new laptop and have really been enjoying using a mouse & keyboard again to play it. With a couple mods also I have just found life easier playing with the keyboard.
So I know many of you are long time players and checking in on this discord, some of you after 1000s of hours still find out new things.
My question is what keyboard buttons others that are not well known help you along your way? The one I found out recently (thanks to this sub) was using Alt for quick beauty ratings.
Thanks

2024.05.14 16:21 Gamesfreak13563 GamesfreakSA's Guide to Creating Jank Decks
Hi everyone! GamesfreakSA here, and I'm 1% evil, 99% hot gas.
I've been posting deck techs here for years now and peoples all the time be askin' me how I come up with all my weird and possibly illegal ideas. Good guess, but no, it's not by imbibing substances! Unfortunately, I've never been able to articulate it in just a few sentences, so I've spent the last few days narrowing down the tools and techniques I employ to create strange lists week after week. Now it's time for me to pass the savings onto you!
If you ever wanted to build jank decklists, this is the guide to read. Build jank like the semiprofessionals by asking weird questions, turning nonbos into combos, looking at old cards, and much more.
Let me know below if you find the guide helpful and what jank decks you're looking to build!

2024.05.14 12:45 Agreeable_Ad7709 Selling Budget Decks as a side hustle
So I've created around 30 Budget decks with lots of cool commanders and techs that aren't in a lot of the recent Precons (last couple of years) I was wondering if it would be worth building and testing my decks then selling them sleeved and boxed for a small profit, ( I have the skills to build my own website) I've tried to keep them all Budget and around a Precon maybe slightly above power lvl. I thought it would be good for newer players that want to start trying new things and new commanders but don't have the knowledge yet to build there own deck Plus it saves time finding and ordering a full deck of cards in singles
Just wondering what everyone else thinks of the idea, I'm in the UK and don't think there is really anywhere selling there own 'Precon lvl' decks

2024.05.14 11:14 OkTune5910 Talking Whiz kid deck
| Alright first off help me my second cyberdeck. It's practically finished. It's a v-tech talking whiz kid gutted and turned into a cyberdeck. It's running Samsung Dex via a Samsung Galaxy s9 velcroed to the bottom and connected to a type c to hdmi hub. I wanted to do samsung dex instead of a raspberry pi because I wanted to try something different and I've got to say I love samsung dex now. I'm going to mostly use this deck for media and emails. The battery pack in the back is just an anker battery that I slapped some carbon fiber wrap and vinyl on. It's very no thrills and very practical just cool looking in my opinion. Also ignore the terrible Japanese it's bad from Google translate. I've included pics of what it looked like when I started as well. submitted by OkTune5910 to cyberDeck [link] [comments] |

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone.
```
This deck is super fun, disruption-resistant, and highly chaotic.
Every time the board gets wiped, new minions fly out of your deck for free after swinging your poisonous immune kingsbane.
Theorar and Mutanous both have failed to stop it. Dirty rat regretted showing his face. Hecklebot crashed and burned. Deathlord died in fear. Okani was the only one laughing at his own joke before crossing the rainbow bridge. Steamcleaner couldn't keep up with the cleaning and resigned.
This deck will surely keep your opponent on their toes, and I beat several Reno decks with this.
MULLIGAN:
Try to get kingsbane early. You want to buff it with poisonous, immune, and card draw. Worry about the attack later, especially if you don't want it to get stolen and used against you.
Gameplay:
shuffle in cards and draw. Hit face wherever possible. Poisonous immune kingsbane is your best defense until it's strong enough to heal and go on the offensive.
Don't shuffle in too much all at once. You won't have the board space to accommodate them all, and you'll need to resupply after a Steamcleaner is played.
2024.05.14 08:34 milimji Blue Moon... Reawakened?
Good evening nerds, after perusing last week’s thread about synergies with Jace Reawakened, I wanted to try to start a more in-depth discussion of the archetype that I think might best leverage his abilities: Blue Moon. While the most obvious place for Jace is slotting into the Mystmin-style Dimir Lurrus control shell (and that’s probably just stronger overall regardless of synergy), I think there are some clear benefits to going in another direction, namely: 3MV sorcery-speed value spells to leverage the plot ability, more situational spells to leverage the loot ability, and snap/bolt to leverage the ult.
Before we get too far in, I should note that I don’t have a meaningful match history to show off here. Results have been mediocre as I’ve tweaked toward this current iteration, and I haven’t tested exhaustively enough to thoroughly map out all the matchups. With that being said, it’s a fairly fun deck to play, and I think it might have enough general quality to be somewhat competitive with a refined list and play. With the disclaimer out of the way, let’s get into the deck:
Jace + plot targets:
- 2-3x [[Jace Reawakened]] - this is the real development in tech for this deck, and it synergizes very well with the rest of the cards that you already want to be playing
- 2-3x [[Blood Moon]] - The namesake of the deck. Fairly strong against domain, which seems decently represented in the meta. Plotting this on turn 4 is pretty late to fully cripple your opponent, but restricting them to one spell per turn is still useful when holding up interaction.
- 3-4x [[Fae of Wishes]] - Obviously a spicy inclusion, but it’s just such a juicy plot target it’s hard to pass up. Also a good blocker in a pinch, and it turns on Flame of Anor. More discussion on wishboard options to follow.
- 2-3x [[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker]] - Fable is everything you want in a generic plot target: great value for cost, not reliant on instant speed (unlike Archmage’s Charm), excellent with snapcaster, treasures can occasionally let you Blood Moon on otherwise sketchy lands
- 2-4x [[Flame of Anor]] - similar to Fable, this hits the spot as a plot target: plays well at instant speed but isn’t reliant on it, gives you great value to recover from a slow start, and synergizes with both of your creatures
Interaction:
- 4x [[Lightning Bolt]] - Generically great removal, and can occasionally close out the game with a Jace ult. Would prefer to run more if possible
- 4x [[Mana Drain]] - No question, best counter in the format. Your plot targets (and Lorien) tend to make great mana sinks for this as well.
- 2-4x [[Spell Pierce]] - Obviously seeing quite a bit of play in such a fast format. Your favorite card against SnT, Natural Order, Minsc, and the like.
- 2-3x [[Stifle]] - Another spicy inclusion. This spell probably isn’t good enough for the format in general, however it does play uniquely well with Blood Moon. First of all, it supports attacking your opponent’s mana base, and stone-raining an early fetch can make an otherwise middling Blood Moon excellent. Once Blood Moon is on the battlefield, Stifle helps defend it against outs like Boseiju, Otawara, or Leyline Binding.
- 1-2 [[Stern Scolding]] - Bowmasters bad, ergo scolding good. Also incidentally hits many non-bowmasters.
Other:
- 2-4x [[Snapcaster Mage]] - Fairly slow card for such a fast format, but that is somewhat mitigated by biasing toward 1MV interaction. Works great with Fable and Flame of Anor.
- 3-4x [[Brainstorm]] - On the upside, find what you need when you need it. On the downside… bowmasters. Probably worthwhile, but I could see trimming here depending on the meta.
- 2-3x [[Lorien Revealed]] - Like a tapped fetch, but more resilient to Blood Moon and synergizes well with snap and mana drain
- ~20 lands - Fairly standard mix of fetches & island duals, heavy on islands to support the Blood Moon. Probably worth running an [[Otawara]] and a [[Mystic Sanctuary]], possibly worth mixing in an additional sanctuary and/or [[Hall of the Storm Giants]] depending on how much you want to tempt fate.
Sideboard:
- Tier 1 wish targets - [[Roiling Vortex]], [[Pithing Needle]], [[Surgical Extraction]], [[Unlicensed Hearse]] - nothing too surprising here
- Tier 2 wish targets - [[Test of Talents]], [[Gaea’s Blessing]], [[Tormod’s Crypt]], [[Brotherhood’s End]], additional Blood Moon - additional support for common scenarios, or options for rarer scenarios. Note that you can put Blessing into your deck with Brainstorm when needed
- Generic advantage cards - this is where the wishboard has felt fairly disappointing to be honest. You really want something disgusting like a Valki to close things out, but I’m just not seeing it. I think [[Narset, Parter of Veils]] may be the best option to push a game from even to ahead, but it’s a bit situational and lackluster. [[Search for Azcanta]] is another cheap option, but very slow. [[Chandra, Torch of Defiance]] is a classic for this slot, but it seems to play poorly with the blue pips and instant speeds among the rest of the deck. It could also be that an additional fable is the best option.
- Normal sideboard cards - [[Molten Impact]] and [[Aether Gust]] as general interaction, probably some additional copies of wish targets for depending on the metagame
Other cards under consideration:
- Other generic control spells - Archmage’s Charm is fairly bad while plotted and very risky with Blood Moon. Counterspell might be good enough as hard counter #5. Expressive Iteration is great value, but I’m not sure it outcompetes the other value cards already included. Dig Through Time might be worthwhile as a 1-of.
- Delirium package - most blue moon decks I’ve seen have been running this, but I feel like it may just take up too much room for what you get. You don’t get the most out of DRC like a more graveyard-focused or aggressive deck would, bauble is a no-go with vortex (and you don’t have a Lurrus to recur it), and heat can largely be replaced by flame of anor.
- [[Tishana’s Tidebinder]] - This is probably the best fit that I don’t already have locked for the main deck. It’s a wizard, it supports the stifle/moon plan, and it’s great with a fable that sticks. The biggest downside is that it’s expensive, and it doesn’t interact particularly well with Jace, but it might be good enough regardless.
- [[Vendilion Clique]] - Another flash threat option similar to Tidebinder. V clique is also a wizard, it plots better than tidebinder does, and it’s fantastic with Narset if you can get there, but on the downside it doesn’t work with fable.
- [[Fury]] - coming soon, this seems like it will slot in very nicely. Helps keep the board free of bowmasters, and it works rather nicely with fable, either early game as pitch fodder or late game with reflection.
- [[Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer]] - a classic rage inducer when paired with a turn 2 Blood Moon, but honestly doesn’t seem to have a great place in the meta. Decent against SnT, but it seems like every other meta deck has T1 removal, blockers, or both. You also don’t really have enough other must-remove threats to make it backbreaking in the lategame, nor play few enough creatures to expect zero removal in post-sideboard games.
- 3rd color splash - Jund can get away with it with Jegantha, both as limitation on pip requirements and as a safety valve when color screwed. Jund this ain’t, with several 2x blue pip spells and only fable treasures to bail you out. With that being said, there are some interesting options if you’re feeling bold.
- In Temur, you have great midrange cards like Jarsyl (incidentally a wizard) and Oko (wishable). You also have Veil as interaction, and several options to shore up your enchantment removal. Going more exotic, reclamation exists, and [[bramble familiar]] gets a steep discount with Jace.
- Jeskai also has some potential. [[Deputy of Detention]] and [[Reflector Mage]] are both wizards as well as excellent reflection targets. T3f is a solid wish option, and you have veto/swords/fragment if you want additional interaction options.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk. I’d love to hear about any experiences y’all have had with blue moon in the current timeless meta, as well as any suggestions for adjustments to the deck.
2024.05.14 07:50 Luppercus The most missunderstood line in Trek lore: “You don’t provoke the Borg”
Yes, we see in episode “Q2” of Voyager Q telling his son q “You don’t provoke the Borg”. This simple line has cause immense amount of discussion online, debates and whole fans arguing how the Q “fear” the Borg and why. Youtube Videos on the matter and even Wikipedia mentions it in the Borg wikipage.
For me (and I know I¿m not alone) is pretty clear that Q was not afraid of the Borg per se, is not that the Q are in risk from the Borg in any way, it was a warning with the best analogy to be “do not through stones to the hornets’ nest”. Hornets won’t destroy humanity but they would cause a lot of damage to a lot of surrounding animals.
Or is like having a garden full of insects that you study and go kicking the Brazilian fire ants’ hill. They won’t kill you nor other humans but will ruin your garden and everything in it unless you intervene which would certainly be an annoyance.
Returning to the Q, it has been argued that in a similar way how the Borg invaded fluidic space they would see no problem in invading other dimensions thus trying to find the Q Continuum to invade it. But precisely the fluidic space is a good example, Species 8472 was kicking their cyberasses until Voyager intervene. If they can’t handle a physical species with better tech how can they attack a near-omnipotent species?
Another argument is that the Q don’t want the Borg to know about their existence or they would try to capture one Q and/or go around assimilating species trying to gather intel on the Q as they did with the Omega Molecule, but they already know about the Q, they already assimilated Picard for a while and many other Starfleet officers.
Truth is, the Borg can’t do anything to the Q even if the Q are limited and not truly omnipotent. Quinn explains in “Death Wish” that they are not really omnipotent it just looks like that for lesser life forms. I personally think the Q do use technology but they are an Minus Omega-Type civilization in the Barlow scale. For those who don’t know the Barlow scale also known as the Reverse Kardashev is a scale that proposes the opposite of Kardashev, as more advance is a civilization the smaller order of magnitude they control. For example we already control molecules (chemistry) and atoms (nuclear) other civilization will go to smaller and smaller levels until pretty much having god-like powers much like the Q.
In synthesis, no I don’t think the Borg are a threat to the Q in any way possible nor the Q fear them, Q’s word were more based on warning from making the Borg took over the galaxy or go on an assimilation rampage that will destroy thousands and they would have to clean up or live with it. And even if the Borg do manage somehow to assimilate a Q they probably would become enlighten beings who would drop assimilation altogether like Badgy in Lower Decks.
2024.05.14 07:48 zander2880 Cue point setting
Hi friends! I've been djing house music (everything from progressive/deep to tech house) or about a year now and have had a few paid gigs but I honestly dont know how or where to set cue points in my songs. I know it will help me level up and I'm hoping to get a few pointers here. I've asked a few friends and they either dont use cue points or suck at teaching and cant explain when asked (lol).
- How/where do I best mix in and out of tracks? Where do I set cue points, and how do I know where to set their placement in each song (both of house and other genres)?
- Do you recommend setting them in Rekordbox, or on your deck when practicing your set?
- Is there a formula for knowing what will sound best with mixing in and out, as well as where to set cue points in house music (or is it the same in all genres)?
I'm a noob and have just been playing tracks front to back, looping the first 4-8ish bars of when the beat is introduced without any true technique other that basic eqing and flitering. I'm ready to level up though! Thank you in advance for your help!!
2024.05.14 07:12 Ok-Programmer-6938 My Time at Sea: Hellclouds
(
The Merrow)
It has been a long time since I thought about these things, but I think starting with the Merrow was the right choice. They were dangerous, sure, but for the most part, they didn't interact with us much. I think it's time I told another story, this time, though, I think I'll go into one of the things that sent me to the hospital.
Normally, when you're sailing one of the big things you want to do is avoid storms. They can cause unnecessary damage to your ship or even kill members of the crew. When I was in the military we never ran into a storm, high-tech sonar and weather monitoring equipment made the chances of that happening slim. The same goes for my time on cruises, really. We'd sail around them and the passengers would be none the wiser. So, it wasn't until I started working on smaller cargo and fishing ships that I learned about hellclouds.
Nobody really knows what causes them, but they always seem to appear near storms. To most, they look like fog resting atop the waves, but I've learned differently. I know what's in Hellclouds.
The first few times I encountered them, it wasn't anything crazy. We were inside and getting ready to bunk down for the night when the pa sounded.
"Alright boys, dog down all hatches and stay inside. Looks like we have to go through a Hellcloud."
Those who were more seasoned on these smaller boats quickly ran to all of the doors and locked the hatches down tight, placing a piece of steel on the handle to prevent it from turning. I watched with morbid curiosity as they scurried about like ants, dutifully sealing the inside of the ship off and covering all of the portholes. When they finally finished I took the chance to ask one of the saltier sailors what the hell was going on.
"You'll see soon enough. Thought you'd been sailing a while, never been through a Hellcloud?"
I shook my head "Been on a lot of bigger ships, don't ever remember going through one of these."
He nodded, "Bigger ships have fancy navigation, usually able to avoid storms and Hellclouds without too much issue." We talked for a little longer, sharing some sea stories to pass the time, but then, things got eerie. The sound of the waves lapping against our fishing boat suddenly disappeared and everything was silent. I looked to the older sailor and he gave me a solemn nod. "Keep quiet. Don't draw their ire."
Suddenly the world exploded, cacophonous agonized screams and horrid roaring echoed across the deck. I could hear heavy breaths as something moved outside, within moments it was at the hatch, jiggling it in an attempt to open the door, to expose us to the nightmare outside. The jiggling stopped and something heavy banged against the steel, letting loose a low throaty growl. I jumped in shock, but the other guy grabbed me and raised a finger to his lips. The banging continued, and the screaming grew louder as the ship began to rock and shake. It was like being in some of the choppiest waters I had ever experienced.
I've never gotten seasick, never even come close, but that night when I first went through that cloud I nearly puked. Soon, the pounding ceased and the screaming began to fade. The churning waters stopped tossing our boat and everything seemed to calm down. We unlocked the hatches and checked outside for damage to the boat. There were dents in the deck and on the hatch, but things were otherwise fine. I breathed a sigh of relief and spoke to the other sailor after we had made sure things were still in working order.
"Yeah, Hellclouds are weird. Lot of guys think they're portals to other dimensions. Heard stories about ships that get caught in Hellclouds. When the clouds disappear, so do the ships. Bermuda Triangle's got a lot of 'em. All I know for sure? You don't want to get caught outside in one. You seen the door." he murmured, motioning to the dented hatch.
I went through seven Hellclouds on that boat. None of them were exactly the same. Some were short, five minutes, others we were harassed for hours while strange creatures tried to claw their way into the ship. Every time the damage to the ship was minimal, and every time we just got back to things like nothing happened.
Until something did.
We were sailing somewhere in the Atlantic and I was on deck with another deckhand, Gregg, and we were finishing up the late shift. Things suddenly got really quiet and the captain frantically came on the PA "HELLCLOUD! SEAL THE SHIP NOW!" Gregg and I exchanged a glance before we bolted for the hatch, but it was too late. The door had been sealed. I felt my stomach sink, and when I looked over to Gregg I could see the color in his face was gone. We were outside. We were outside in a Hellcloud.
The anguished roar of a thousand voices dropped me to my knees, my hands shot to my ears and I wanted to scream in pain, but I couldn't. Weakly, I looked to Gregg, he was in the same position. We knelt there covering our ears as the screams echoed deafeningly all around us, my head swam and my vision clouded. I could feel the blood pooling in my clenched hands, and then there were stars.
My vision was rocked with a bright light as intense pressure sent me flying into the wall of the boat. Even through the screams, I could hear the thing growling, but as I opened my eyes I saw nothing. Within moments of colliding with the hull, I felt myself leaving the ground. I heard the low growl of the creature again as my body was racked with white-hot pain, cooled only by a warm trickle of what I could imagine was my blood. I gasped, hands beating desperately at something I couldn't see, but there was no relief. I squirmed, screamed, and fought. There was no solace, only agony as I felt my body being torn to shreds.
Blacking out was a mercy.
I was airlifted to the nearest hospital, and that night I died for four minutes. I spent two months recovering from the mauling I experienced, doctors had no explanation for what happened, it wasn't like lions or bears just roamed the ocean. Eventually, it was chalked up to falling overboard and being attacked by wildlife, they never delved deeper than that. Gregg was injured, but he was able to recover within a few weeks, sadly the ordeal cost him his eye.
For me? Two fingers, and a foot. I'm also now partially deaf. I still consider it a blessing that I survived. Apparently, we were in the cloud for six minutes, which means I was beaten for six minutes and I survived.
I spent around six months on land, doing jobs in docks and fish markets, but I couldn't stand it. Everything about shore life felt empty. After that time I went back out, because even Hellclouds weren't what finally broke me.
