2024.05.15 03:42 GummyGumShoe I dont know why i feel like this

For context- i turned 30 recently, i have a laundry list of medical problems including epilepsy late diagnosed untreated Autism PTSD and clinical depression
I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do, I'm talking to friends about my problems Distracting myself with coming mechanisms, "taking deep breaths" when anxious The house is CLEAN I'm taking care of myself and exercising and eating healthy, I cut soda and fast food out of my diet completely I'm getting a therapist soon and going back on meds I'm eating vitamins. by all accounts I'm doing better than ever.
I just, don't want to be here. all I can think about from the second I wake up to when I go to bed is how I want to die, whos going to show up to my funeral, if they could even afford one.
I've been so closed off from by boyfriend and we've hardly been speaking When I talked to my mom and my friends the other day its like I wasn't even there, like I was pretending to be present for their sake, but I genuinely didn't feel a single emotion.
I don't want to go back to outpatient, having homeless women scream at me then get sedated was horrifying

2024.05.15 03:36 Famous-Panda5136 Does your psychiatrist/provider make you feel like a child?

I recently had a telehealth visit with a new provider who prescribed a new medication for my anxiety that has helped...that part is great. But at the end of the loooong appt where I explained different methods I've used to try and better cope with anxiety (journeling, walks, vitamin D, yoga, meditation, exercise, breathing exercises etc. I'm sure I don't have to go down the long list with people who're fighting anxiety). I discussed having a family history significant for anxiety and asked her for advice. She said "oh you'll be fine. You just need to work on your coping." I tried not to read too much into things, but then again she said the exact same thing. Oh continue to practice your coping then you won't need medication. I mean, this was after I shared all the ways I am actively trying to manage anxiety. I felt kinda like a child being dismissed. Oh there's no monster under your bed, just go to sleep/oh you just need to practice your coping. Ugh. It was so so freaking hard to start on any medication for anxiety and this made me feel even worse that I take meds. Really just need a hug😭

2024.05.15 03:03 Istoh My dad is sick and we live together

My symtoms recently got so bad I had to take medical leave from work. I'm on a waiting list to see a cardiologist, and get an appointment with a Long Covid clinic.
This last weekend my anti-mask, anti-vax father that I currently live with attended a local convention. He obviously didn't wear a mask, and today he's extremely sick.
I'm terrified. I can not get fucking sick again. And what's worse is that I have a flight on Saturday I was already dreading because I feel embarrassed to use the airport wheelchair services. I need to make that flight, my boyfriend and I are moving in together at the end of summer. I need to get fucking better. I can't fucking get sick again.
I'm so scared and upset. I took some extra vitamin C supplements and I'm hiding in my room now, masked. I can't get fucking sick.
Edit: don't comment on my posts with your anti-mask, anti-vax *bullshit*. People who don't believe in covid safety protocols are why I now have a god damn chronic illness in the first place.
Edit 2: Update Edition: my father has a fever of 102F and I've changed my flight to Thursday early evening, which was the soonest I could get out. it cost me the last of my money but I really can not get sick. I hope he gets through this alright, but I can not be here for it. I'm basically barricaded in my room til Thursday when I'll haul my ass to the airport and get wheelchaired onto the plane and gtfo of here.

2024.05.15 02:15 LuckyInLove8789 Is this go to the ER or can I wait to see my PCP next week?

I'll try to keep this simple. I have lupus, pseudo tumor cerebri, lupus nephritis, Hypothyroidism, chronic pain, nerve damage, POTS and some other minor issues but the list is already to long.
I have started to have a very strong smell of something that's not there. It smells like stale cigarettes. I don't smoke and neither does husband. Also some times if I'll smell like I was at a bon fire. The smell will get so intense it make me nauseated.
I made an appointment to see my PCP for next week. The soonest I could get in.
So is this something I should take action now or I'm okay to wait for my appointment. I'm asking because my husband is really worried.

Also I suffer hyperhirdosis; I noticeably sweat more and more easily than others. Bad sleep.
Health background : Nothing protruding. I had repeated encounters of dog bites with puntured skin during my childhood, once on my head. Had chickenpox as a joung child and scarlet fever as a child. I live in areas with many ticks, which can transfer diseases. I had multiple ticks stuck on me during my lifetime, but not once a prominent infection. I tended to have regular middle ear infections due to having longer hair in my youth and going out into the cold winter with wet hair. Had multiple bones broke, most remarkably my left clavicle which was not 100% aligned to grow together.
I made a full run of experts: • Nephrologist • Radiologist • Cardiologist • Blood screens Result: nothing, except my right kidney seems to have split arteries connecting it to my aorta, but the doc said both diameters together should average to normal blood flow. The blood screen results pointed to a slightly hightened but not alarming result of the enzyme that points to the kidneys. (I forgot what it was called, sadly). I took blood pressure medication myself once but stopped as I wished to tend to the cause and not treat the symptoms. But a healthier lifestyle seemed not to help me...

Family history: My mother is taking blood pressure medication and my grandma (mothers side) has hightened blood pressure as does my grandpa(fathers side). They are old and seem to get by with it well, except my mother. She has a unhealthy style of life and cannot handle stress very good. Father had diabetes.
Other information: I exerecise regularly by going for runs, swimming, bouldering among other sports. I have a great variety of sports and do mostly cardio but also calisthenics. I stretch and use blackrolls for tensions in my muscles. I had long-term ECG device not too long ago. The results said I had a great range between high pulse and low pulse. BUT it detected sleeping apnoea. And indeed I go weeks of bad sleep before I am reminded by some wonder, that sleep can be restful. I eat vegetables or fruit to every single meal and try to mix it up regularly. Nuts, different grain, fish and meat is on my menue and I also take Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 and sometimes Magnesium supplements. I don't smoke and don't abuse any substances, though I consume alcohol and the occasional hash cookie. I drink one coffee per day and don't use much salt. I get my regular walks and during sunny days go into the sun. I meditate from time to time and have a supportive partner. In my mind I life way healthier than the average person but my energy level and motivation seem to be always way too low.

A Blend of Skin-Nourishing Ingredients
SeriSkin boasts a unique blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants specifically chosen for their benefits on skin health. The inclusion of Hyaluronic Acid, known for its moisture-binding properties, and Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant, immediately grabbed my attention. Additionally, the presence of Zinc and other essential nutrients promised to nourish my skin from the inside out.
Easy to Swallow and Integrate into Routine
The SeriSkin capsules are small and easy to swallow, making them a seamless addition to my daily routine. The recommended dosage of one capsule per day is convenient and fits perfectly into my existing supplement regimen. The bottle itself is secure and clearly labelled with instructions and a list of ingredients.
Gradual Improvement and a Healthier Glow
While I wasn't expecting dramatic changes overnight, I noticed a gradual improvement in my skin's overall health within a few weeks of taking SeriSkin. My skin felt more hydrated and supple, with a noticeable reduction in dryness. More importantly, my complexion began to develop a subtle, healthy glow, making me appear more radiant and youthful.
Reduced Blemishes and Even Skin Tone
Perhaps the most welcome change was a significant reduction in occasional blemishes. The breakouts that previously plagued my skin became less frequent and less severe. Additionally, my skin tone appeared more even, with a noticeable reduction in redness and hyperpigmentation. This newfound clarity and evenness boosted my confidence and allowed me to embrace a more natural look.
A Safe and Effective Long-Term Solution
Since incorporating SeriSkin into my routine, I've experienced a significant improvement in my overall skin health. It's not just about treating blemishes; it's about nourishing my skin from within and promoting a healthy, radiant glow. The natural ingredients and lack of reported side effects make SeriSkin a safe and effective long-term solution for anyone seeking to improve their skin health.
A Recommendation for a Natural Glow
If you're looking for a natural way to achieve radiant, healthy skin, I highly recommend SeriSkin. The easy-to-use format, well-researched ingredients, and noticeable improvement in skin texture, tone, and clarity make it a valuable addition to any beauty routine. Whether you're concerned about dryness, blemishes, or uneven skin tone, SeriSkin can be a powerful tool in achieving a naturally glowing and healthy complexion. Remember, beautiful skin starts from within, and SeriSkin

2024.05.14 16:26 GTCapone Weightlifting with low blood pressure

Hi askdocs
I've (36M) been dealing with high blood pressure (150/85+) this year and have made a ton of progress through exercise, diet, and quitting drinking/smoking. Lately, I've switched to having low (below 80/60) blood pressure. It's been low enough that I've almost blacked out from standing up and during weightlifting.
I talked to my doctor already and he's having me lower my Losartan dosage from 100mg daily to 50mg and stopping my hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg entirely to start, with instructions to continue lowering the dosage until my systolic is back around 120. We currently think I'll be able to stop the medication entirely.
I've also added protein shakes (muscle milk) to my diet to ensure that I'm not malnourished, since my other medications (listed below) suppress my diet significantly.
My question is: at what point should I go back to weightlifting? It's been 3 days on the lower dose and I'm measuring 100/70 before medication and between 90/60 and 100/70 after medication. I'm still getting dizzy when standing up, though not as bad. I was planning on waiting until either I was done adjusting my dosage, or above 110 systolic, but that may be me making excuses for myself.
Medications:
  • Venlafaxine 75mg
  • Atomoxetine 40mg
  • bupropion 150mg
  • Aripiprazole 10mg (1/2 a 20mg tab)
  • Losartan 50mg
  • Gabapentin 300mg (as needed at bedtime for nerve pain)
  • Atorvastatin Calcium 20mg
  • Trazodone (temporary sleep aid)
  • Nicotine gum 2mg/3 hours (as needed for cravings)
  • Vitamin D3 5000 IU
  • Ibuprofen and acetaminophen as needed for pain
Lifestyle:
Diet is almond milk yogurt w/ granola, and a protein shake for breakfast, raw vegetables for lunch, coldcut sandwich for dinner, fresh fruit, nuts and dried fruit for snacks, 2-3L of water and unsweetened tea for fluids (I've been over hydrated per lab results). 30-60 minutes of exercise on weekdays.
Background:
My weight is currently 215lbs (97.5kg) at 5'11 (180cm). I've been a 1/2 pack/day smoker for 16 years and an alcoholic for 14 years. No indication of liver or kidney damage, and my chest x-ray was clean. I'm currently 3-months sober and have quit smoking, but I'm still using nicotine gum and pouches. I have significant back, ankle/foot, and joint pain from military service and am diagnosed with GAD, MDD, and ADHD (hence the laundry list of medications). My cholesterol was above 300 as of 4 months ago, but is down to 107 as of a week ago. Sleep is a disturbed 5 hours/night.
I've been back in the gym for 3 months, lifting and walking. Outside of exercise, I'm pretty sedentary.

2024.05.14 14:34 s4turn2k02 Literally diagnosed today. I’m confused

So I had a routine blood test yesterday and got a call today saying I have folate deficient anaemia. Also can’t believe how quick the results were given this is the NHS
I have a couple of questions
I googled folate deficient anaemia and was a little confused. Is this just another name for vitamin B12 deficiency
What could cause it? I looked at the recommended list of foods, and I eat quite a few of them regularly. I am egg intolerant so don’t eat eggs, but other than that idk. I was eating very poorly at university but for the last couple months I’ve been back home eating normal balanced meals
Is it common?
Anyway here are the symptoms I have experienced

2024.05.14 14:09 discocurrency CF with one gene?

Hi, I’m a 40 year old female with one CF mutation (French Canadian), as far as I know. I’ve had genetic testing and no sweat test. I suffer from chronic asthma as well as anemia and other vitamin deficiencies. I get sick often and when I do it takes me a long time to recover. My mother has the same mutation and has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. She has had her large colon removed.
I’ve been reading a lot lately about how people with only one CF gene mutation can sometimes experience mild forms of the disease. Or maybe there’s more mutations that we aren’t testing for yet? I generally feel unwell and have a laundry list of complaints that doctors tend to ignore.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it worth getting additional testing?
Thanks!

2024.05.14 13:18 woodss I tried 30 different supplements while healing my CFS/ME - Here's which ones worked

I've had two bad burnouts in the past 10 years, both lasted me years, both scattered my life all about the place. I've spent far too long in dark rooms and I've had to give up a lot of things I thought were key to my life. It's been rough.
During that time I've learned to improve my nutrition a bunch, (largely with help from a good specialist nutritionalist). I think, other than therapy, and redesigning my life, nutrition was the most important factor to my recovering my energies and health.
I've spent a fortune on remedies/supplements/trying stuff, but a lot of it seemed to do nothing, or make me poop myself. I'm sharing here in hope this'll help one of you.
Here's what I tried, and what worked for me (note, mileage will vary - we all start this pain journey from different nutritional states. I'm not a doctor, and I only pursued most of these under nutritionist supervision - don't take stuff without checking with a pro).
Definitely helped:
  • Mitochondrial NRG
  • Probiotics - Microbiome formula Mood by Garden of Life
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D / Vitamin D3 and K2 spray
  • Omega 369
  • B 12 - B12 sublingual
  • B complex - Organic B complex by cytoplan or Vitamin B complex oral spray
  • Inulin with FOS powder
  • Noni Juice
  • Magnesium glycinate
  • L-theanine
  • Ashwagandha
  • Athletic greens / Daily Greens (AG1, and another brand I can't remember)
Somewhat helped:
  • 5-htp
  • Ginseng
  • Ground seeds (flaxseed or mixed)
  • Protein powder (I used organic European pea protein)
  • Phosphatidyl serine
  • Phyto-ADR
  • Motherwort
  • Vitamin B2 (Ribose)
  • Coenzyme Q10
Not sure these did anything for me:
  • NADH
  • Melatonin
  • Iron
  • DHEA
  • Lysine
  • Acetyl L-Carnitine
  • Alpha-lipoic acid
Did you try anything not on this list? What worked for you? I'm interested to read about your experiences with different supplements and coming back out of the abyss.
Be well!
Edited to include a summary list of other users suggestions from the comments here, for your ease. These are ones I've not yet tried, but search the comments below if interested:
  • Alpha gpc
  • Shilajit
  • Brahmi
  • Citicoline (multiple users suggested)
  • L Glutathione
  • Resversatrol
  • pqq
  • Triphala
  • tru niagen
  • N-acetyl Cysteine (NAC)
  • Turmeric/curcumin
  • Bromelain
  • High dose thiamine (B1)
  • Ginkgo biloba
  • Vinpocetine
  • Oxaloacetate (benaGene)
  • Electrolytes & ORS
  • Agmatine sulfate
  • LDN
  • Methylene blue
  • Cortexin peptides
  • Inositol (people with ovaries)
  • Metformin
  • Lysine (make sure to not deplete your arginine too much)
  • Seriphos for high night cortisol
  • Multi-vitamins like Ultranutrient by pure encapsulations
  • Digestive aid called Happy Gut by Carlyle
  • Querticin
  • Licorice root (helped with low cortisol)
  • Sodium butyrate
  • Bee pollen
  • Taurine
(Let's do this right: always consult a qualified nutritionist before taking any of these!)

This week's book club list is as follows (enjoy reading and comment which your favourite is below):

  1. "Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More" by Vitale J., Len I.H. - If it seems like you work hard but never get anywhere, maybe the problem is something within you. Maybe the limitations holding you back come from inside you, not from the outside world. 2. "The Probiotic Solution: Nature's Best-Kept Secret for Radiant Health" by Mark A., Dr Brudnak - In The Probiotic Solution, Dr. Mark Brudnak states a greater truth: "Disease begins from an imbalance in the body." Good health is a dance on the tightrope of balance. Lose your balance for long enough-and you plunge toward crisis-if not death. Find and maintain balance-and you can enjoy the fruits of a happy, healthy life. It's the law of nature.Whatever causes imbalance, causes ill health-be it cancer, heart disease, autism, diabetes or obesity.
  3. "The Bible secret of divine health" by Gordon Lindsay - In this book is revealed one of the greatest secrets of practical living found in the Bible. It recognizes Divine healing as God’s promise for the believer but—and this is important—it goes further. Much teaching on Divine healing misses the profound truth that God intends that his children should not be sick at all—that they should prosper and be in health even as their soul prospers.
  4. "The Low Carb Myth: Free Yourself from Carb Myths, and Discover the Secret Keys That Really Determine Your Health and Fat Loss Destiny " by Whitten, Ari; Smith, Dr Wade; D, M - Do Carbs Make You Fat, Hungry, and Lazy? Read to find out.

In this long-awaited book, Inna Segal unveils the secrets to understanding the messages of the body and reveals the underlying energetic causes of over 200 symptoms and medical conditions. Who are the healthiest people on the planet then? Well, Japan is considered to be the country with the longest life expectancy, and it is featured in many books including The Blue Zones and Ikigai.
  7. "Dumping Iron: How to Ditch This Secret Killer and Reclaim Your Health" by P. D. Mangan - How to Ditch This Secret Killer and Reclaim Your Health is a game-changer in health and fitness. The accumulation of excess iron in the body, a condition that affects perhaps the majority of adults, leads to much higher risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and shorter lifespan. Dumping Iron shows how to measure your iron levels, what the test numbers mean, and how to go about lowering iron if necessary.
  8. "Breathe Smart: The Secret to Happiness, Health and Long Life" by Aaron Hoopes - Learn the secret Yoga and Tai Chi masters have known for centuries and discover one of the most fundamental dimensions of good health: proper breathing. Breathe Smart shows us how, through deep, conscious breathing we can raise the level of oxygen in the body and reap the benefits of increased energy, better health, and a stronger sense of well-being.
  9. "Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth Cookbook (Simple, Delicious Recipes for Health & Longevity)" by Devanando Otfried Weise - This book is excellent for those who wish to embrace Food Combining i.e. what has become known as the Hay Diet. It is where one avoids mixing starch-based foods and protein-based foods in the same meal.
  10. "The Calcium Factor: The Scientific Secret of Health and Youth" by Robert R. Barefoot; Carl J. Reich - Did you know that scientists have found that cancer thrives in an acidic medium, but cannot survive in an alkaline medium? Did you know that with vitamin and mineral supplements, you can lower the acidity of your body fluids and become healthy? Here's a challenge: If the answer to any or all of these questions is "No", then you owe it to yourself to read The Calcium Factor, not only for the sake of your own health, but for the sake of your family and friends.

2024.05.14 11:38 talking_grasshopper Starting SIBO cleanup journey (India)

Hi, 25 years old male from India. I developed food intolerances when I was 18. I was eating outside food back then and was also under a lot of stress. It started with bread, then fried food, then random food. Even bananas which I previously was able to, started causing bloating and the below listed issue(x).
I can have dahi, plain dal, rice, all meat, pulses, legumes, dal, most fruits available in India. Cant have anything remotely fried.
Issue - x - soon after eating intolerant food I get these waves of gas moving over my back, thighs, arms, face. When the gas moves it feels like thorns pricking a layer underneath my skin and I get goosebumps. This lasts for 2 days. Only after passing stools do I start feeling better.
The pain is so intense I go into a sad depressive state and I can't work at all. All I do is start scrolling on my mobile phone to forget reality.
A month back I began intermittent fasting and decided to skip breakfast and stop snacking which I had a natural affinity towards. No benefit from doing it yet.
I came across some youtube videos on SIBO, it's fix and thiamine( Vitamin B1) use.
https://youtu.be/53f1gsRUxvY?si=Sl_qfnbYq8qhsPpq
https://youtu.be/3oyHbpsMejg?si=4jzNvnGgQiuBlYE1
I plan to use these and share if it works for me.
BTW I have tried everything possible for the past 7 years to fix this issue. Food allergy testing Anitbiotics Ayurveda medicines (too many doctors to keep track) and Panchkarma Homeopathy B12 injections for 5 months.
A lot of effort, time and energy has been devoted to this futile task. No more do I hope. I only practice yoga and came across these videos which seem to make sense. Hence, I am trying.
Let me know you suggestion in the comments.

2024.05.14 08:10 vadroqvertical How I (personally and mostly) overcome FQAD, took me ~600 days

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share how I personally managed to overcome FQAD (or at least the worst part of it, lets hope to not relapse). I’m not quite at 100%, but I’m somewhere in the 95-99% range, depending on whether it’s a good or bad day. Initially, I experienced tendon and muscle issues all over my body—from my feet to my neck. I dealt with some minor fatigue, twitching, and cracking. It took me around 600 days, including at least 500 PT/rehab sessions, to reach this point.
I still take quite a few supplements, but they’ve helped me maintain that 95% level. If I stop taking them for a while, I notice a decline. Here’s what’s been working for me:
Other strategies that worked for me:
  1. Rehab: This had the biggest impact alongside time. Over 500 rehab sessions, I gradually loaded my tendons, allowing me to regain normalcy. I can lift, hike, cycle, do chores, and work. I could even run, but I’m not a fan. I’ll continue with rehab, transitioning to normal training over time. I even made a special instagram account for my rehab progress, it also contains some information how to start if someone wants on their own, that link is in my profile here in reddit
  2. Time: The 19 months of being floxed played a significant role in my recovery.
  3. Fasting/Caloric Deficit: Initially, fasting caused flare-ups, but now it’s fine. The caloric deficit during fasting likely triggers autophagy, including mitophagy.
  4. Breathing exercises: I do Wim Hof Breathing, Box Breathing, and the Physiological Sigh from Hubberman throughout the day.
  5. Near Infrared Therapy: Once I found the right dosage, it noticeably sped up my leg recovery. (my dosage is quiet low, its currently like 1,3j/cm2 and still gradually adding more slowly slowly)
  6. Heat and Cold Exposure: I exposed myself to both heat and cold, which helps with mitochondria biogenesis.
  7. Social Interaction: Having supportive friends, especially my wife, made a huge difference but also finding other floxies who shared the same mindset about doing something about it
  8. Supplements: I’ve tried many, but the ones listed above have been the most beneficial.
Final Thoughts:
I might be luckier than others in terms of how hard I was floxed, but who really knows? I credit my recovery to a combination of factors: antioxidants, magnesium, persistence in rehab, and the realization that I had to save myself. There’s no magic cure; it’s a process. Once I shifted my mindset, I made progress. It’s not just mental—it’s action.

2024.05.14 06:42 Redbait2310 Ugh I feel like crying (AV won’t go away)

I went to my GYN to show her my Juno Bio results and she completely dismissed me. I explained to her that it seems like I had a high amount of strep in my sample and she just said that she had never heard of it and just continued to test me using a swab for standard BV…even after I tried telling her that my tests kept coming up negative every single time and the bacteria that showed up on the Juno Bio test were all different from the ones that the GYN office tests for. I just feel so defeated because I thought I had finally found some answers but my doctor wasn’t even willing to listen to me nor did she even seem interested in looking at the results I got. She just brushed me off and continued telling me the same generic things: “wear cotton underwear”, “wash with hypoallergenic soaps”, “take probiotics” and the list goes on. I’ve tried all of that…I’ve been doing it for months and have seen no change in my symptoms. I feel the exact same and I’m so tired of it. Maybe it was my fault for even going back to that doctor but I thought maybe she would be able to help this time. It seems that there aren’t many GYNs who are knowledgeable about AV and they don’t really seem to want to listen to their patients concerns.
Before I went back to my original GYN, I saw a telehealth doctor who I mentioned my problem to first. I explained to her my results and I also told her how I was cured the last time, but she seemed weary about giving me antibiotics since I’ve taken quite a few in the past. Instead, she mentioned using vitamin c and boric acid suppositories and trying a different kind of probiotic to see if it’ll help, but no probiotics have been working for me so far. I just wanted to see if I could try taking antibiotics one last time (the one that worked) and then follow up with a more homeopathic approach to avoid having to taking them so much in the future…no doctor will listen to me though.
Anyway, after I told her about my symptoms, surprisingly, she knew what strep was and her office even has a test for it…I think it’s for Group B Strep and other aerobic bacteria’s if I’m not mistaken. She said it’s called Swab One. I’m not sure if you all have heard of it. I see her next week, so I’m trying to be optimistic about it but I still have a lot of doubt at the moment. I just want to be fixed.

2024.05.14 03:08 Bluenymph82 Confused about high folate

UPDATE: realize I got my medical stuff confused. I was thinking about lactic acid and picked the wrong name. Sorry about that.
So, I know a lot of CFSers suffer from burning in their legs and weakness due to a build up of folic acid (which is apparently the fake, manmade version of Folate).
But what if a test comes back with high, natural folate? Could it be doing the same thing?
I can't find much info on it except that any excess we have is usually peed out.
I had more labs done today and my folate is high enough that it isn't listed except that it's over the max range. I do take a multi-vitamin with it and B12 in it. B12 was in normal range.
So I'm a little confused on what's going on or even what symptoms could be related to it.
Can anyone help me out?

One of the key strategies for mindful eating is to slow down and be present during mealtimes. Rather than rushing through our meals or multitasking while we eat, we should take the time to appreciate the flavors, textures, and aromas of our food. This heightened awareness not only enhances the enjoyment of our meals but also allows us to better recognize when we have reached a state of fullness, preventing us from consuming more than our bodies need.
Portion control is another essential aspect of mindful eating and healthy living. Overeating, even of nutritious whole foods, can lead to weight gain and other health concerns. By being mindful of our portion sizes and focusing on balanced plates that incorporate a variety of plant-based foods, lean proteins, and whole grains, we can ensure that our bodies receive the necessary nutrients without consuming excessive calories.
Implementing practical strategies, such as using smaller plates, eating slowly, and listening to internal hunger and fullness cues, can help us cultivate a more mindful approach to eating. This, in turn, can lead to sustainable weight management, improved digestion, and a greater sense of overall well-being.

Weight Management Through Healthy Eating

Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is an integral part of a balanced healthy eating lifestyle. By understanding the principles of calorie density and macronutrient balance, individuals can make informed choices to support their weight management goals.

Calorie Density and Satiety

The concept of calorie density refers to the number of calories per gram of a particular food. Whole, plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains tend to have a lower calorie density, meaning you can consume a larger volume of these foods without exceeding your daily calorie needs. This can lead to a greater sense of satiety, or feeling full and satisfied, which can support sustainable weight management.

Balancing Macronutrients

In addition to considering calorie density, it's important to focus on balancing the three macronutrients: protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Each macronutrient plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy eating habits and supporting weight management. By incorporating a mix of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats into your meals and snacks, you can help regulate your appetite, stabilize blood sugar levels, and fuel your body with the necessary nutrients for overall well-being.
