And yet , she's still on my mind. Why has she added that Portuguese guy on Facebook? Why is she going to an event in December she never went with me when we were together?
I keep having dark thoughts about her. Like I wish she just died and I won't have to think about her anymore.
Any attempt I make with girls ends up a failure while my female friend manages to line up hookups like chickens to the slaughterhouse.
I have to be in contact with my ex for the house isn't sold yet, but living at my parents drives me crazy. Except I'm in a shit situation with a job I want to quit, hell, I even got condemned by the Law for what I've done.
A mutual friend told me she hadn't mentioned a guy in the picture in their conversations. And I can't get myself any dates, the only girl I went on two dates with told me she wasn't ready for a relationship and I haven't been a date since March. I feel so ugly and undesired. Every girl I see, I try not to think about them sexually but I'm starving for affection and attention

I really like old (i.e. from the era when religion was considered an evident truth) religious horror, because there the way they integrate religion into horror seems more… substantial. Decadence literature, for example, is very big on that. The very horror aspect is that the protagonist is usually a sceptic to some degree, but the religious dogmas turn out to be real and start visibly influencing reality as the protagonist tries to move away from the religion. They are trapped in a world that work according to religious logic, and they cannot escape. It is moralising, in a way, but also not just a cautionary tale, but also a reflection on the fears people had at the time (I read decadence literature as a teen, that is why I really cannot remember the names, but I am thinking of this relatively obscure book about a poor struggling writer making a deal with a publisher who is also the Devil and is there to test him and take his soul after handing him a life of luxury, for example).
In a lot of modern “religious horror” I feel like the religious aspect becomes somewhat purely visual (“crosses are scary”) or social (“nuns are evil and use religion as a control tool”). While this is interesting in its own right, I feel like this isn’t exactly religious horror, and if you replace nuns with nurses or teachers, not much would change. Alternatively, demons become random monsters that have nothing to do with religious dogmas, although technically carry the name.
I understand that this is quite a natural, and generally welcomed development in a broader sense, as we move away from religious dogmas being considered self-evident. But from the perspective of a reader it feels this is taking away from the experience. I don’t necessarily feel religious dread at the sign of a random demon causing havoc for no specific reason beside the fact that they came from hell, or at the sight of a nun beating someone up, or at the sight of a bloody cross.
Now, I wonder if there is modern religious horror that would take the best of two worlds: 1. Existential feeling of “yes, all religious dogmas are real and you are trapped in the world which functions according to the twisted religious logic”. Yes, following all the old-school beliefs is the only way to avoid eternal suffering. 2. A protagonist or protagonists that wouldn’t be demonised for going against these dogmas. I.e. the world would be portrayed as an evil trapping place, and portags would be (generally) portrayed as correct in doubting and going against such world/God.

First off: yes, I spent money on the hall of Fame pass. I don't have a regular schedule, so never know how much time I have to grind, so there. Also, I saved Dom games specifically for beginning of each season, so I have something to use all those XP coins on and make great progress before I try playing online. That way, I can implement new players into my line up and figure which ones I like best. That being said, I got to lvl 40 earlier today (EU, Sunday morning) and have had some fun with PG Jokic.
Playing Unlimited, I noticed that it affects my other bigs, like Eaton (C1) and Gilmore (C2). That was the first time I felt it in me. It suddenly made sense to my mind, and my soul was not torn over it. There was no apprehension in my heart.
My stepfather was not a nice person. Ever since my mom left I have been stuck taking care of him and my little brother. I absolutely loved my little brother, but I did not love my stepdad.
He wasn't a monster all the time, a lot of days while I was scrubbing floors and toilets, doing beds and laundry, washing dishes and cooking food, all was well for him.
But sometimes I felt like he needed his fix. And his fix was not alcohol, or cigarettes, or any other regular addictions. His nasty habit was anger. He needed to humiliate and scream and trash perfectly good food, rip the sheets off freshly made beds, throw neatly folded laundry on the floor. Because they weren't good enough, because a lot of the times everything I did needed to not be good enough. Most of the times I cry, and I feel the pressure in my chest and the knots in my stomach and I just... fix it, alone, that's how I've always done it, that's how it felt like it needed to be done.
And I would dry my tears and sooth my heart and act like it never even happened, it never affected me, and everything will be well again, for a while.
But today I felt differently for the first time; I've always been obsessed with killers, I've always stayed up late watching true crime videos or reading books and biographies of horrible murders, horrid crimes. And my obsession was not nefarious, it was not because I had a monster inside of me that I was feeding with these stories, I did not have troubled thoughts of blood and dismemberment and torture. Rather, it fascinated me because I didn't understand it, I didn't know what could make a man kill, derive pleasure from it, or be desperate enough to feel like the only path for them is murder.
Until I did. And worst of all, it didn't scare me, it didn't make me repulsed with myself, there was no reasonable voice telling me this is crazy talk, these were not intrusive thoughts.
After his latest episode, the only words in my mind, in my ears, echoing through my body were "I'm either going to kill him or kill myself".
And standing here in the dark kitchen, the smell of the food I cooked today still lingering from the garbage can, his venomous words still lingering in my mind, the large knife clutched in my fist, I have to remember all the times I have wanted to kill myself and didn't. Poison, drown and maim myself. And I didn't. I've resisted those urges so many times before that chasing them away from my brain is just my nasty habit now. The urge to kill is new, however, fresh in my mind, pulling at my skin and limbs, and I don't think he's left me with enough of my sanity to resist this too.

2024.05.19 13:49 Jymboe PC micro stuttering when all HDDs are plugged in. Is this a SPU or Mboard issue?
For some context about three weeks ago this issue started appearing out of the blue. Tiny micro stutters that freeze my mouse, the audio, and visuals. Every now and then my sound just stops working completely or it sounds demonic and super weird and static when playing anything, both of which need a restart to fix. Interestingly the demonic sounding audio was coming from a USB speaker source (studio monitors plugged into a USB interface), when plugging headphones into the headphone 3.5 jack it sounded fine during these episodes which I thought was odd. So demon audio only affected USB audio out and not 3.5 case jack audio out, but the stuttering still affects both.
Ive done a clean reinstall of windows and installed just the bare minimum drivers, graphics and chipset. When only the internal NVME C drive is present, the stuttering seems to go away and things run smoothly. But when I then hook up my other four HDDs to the Mboard via Sata cables (2xHDD and 2xSSD) then the stuttering gets bad. These are still connected to the PSU in both cases.
Ive tested my RAM using memtest and individually checked each ram stick in separate boots and the stuttering persists.
Ive also checked all the storage using CrystalDisk and found no errors or bad sectors.
Im kind of at my wits end here. Im going to buy a new PSU tomorrow and hope thats the issue since plugging in multiple drives seems to make it worse, which implies some sort of extra load on the peripheral rail of the PSU, but im not sure it would cause system wide stuttering.
If that doesnt work then I have to assume its a faulty Mboard, which I really pray it isnt since changing that out would be a right bitch.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might typically be causing this stuttering/micro lagging behavior? It occurs sporadically and the stutters only last a fraction of a second at a time but its bloody annoying and make music impossible to enjoy.

So I looked on good ol Google and saw there is a serum you can take, and I found a couple at a player vendor for 200c/ea so I bought them.
However I noticed it says that you lose intelligence... how do you guys typically counteract that? I know I can join a public causal group... is there other ways? I know there is also a scorchbeast food that ups your int, but I'd rather not farm them if there are easier ways.

A lot of the newer stuff ranging from evos to towers aren't really all that op, people just take forever to figure it out. Like evo bomber, everyone was losing their mind about it for a bit, and now nobody cares even though it still functions the same way and only saw minor nerfs. This is especially true with dagger dutchess and void spell - Dagger dutchess is good, even great, but she does have weaknesses. it took forever for people to realize that she will fully counter many single card pushes, and is strong against spam as a product. The void spell meanwhile, idek if it's good. It's so easy to counter by grouping cards, but people rarely take advantage of this and idk why. It basically takes a tiny amount of strategy to render useless. The best use it has is clutching when an opponent rushes with one win con and you dont have much elixir.
Meanwhile some stuff like evo skellies have stood the test of time and are actually great, but it seems like nobody ever paid them much mind. They almost always force out a spell which is a great subtle trade, can counter a whole push if your opponent doesnf have the right spells ready, and it has the potential to win you an entire game with one split hog push. Honestly rn I think it's the best evo, just because it forces very positive trades even if it doesn't outright win you games 24/7. Most of the other evos are easily countered or hit or miss - Especially firecracker now that she dies to arrows!!

Guys I’m trying really hard not to gain as much weight as I did for my last pregnancy (around 50 lb). I did ok for the first trimester but now I’m 20 weeks and I’m literally never not hungry. I regularly eat 2 of my usual portion of every meal (about two hours a part). For example I’ll wake up and eat my usual breakfast (eggs toast and fruit/avocado) at 8am, and by 10am I’m hungry enough to make the exact same thing again. Then I eat lunch at 12 as usual. Then I’m starting again at 2 or 3pm. Then dinner at 5 with my toddler, then I’m starving again after I finish putting him to bed and have to eat a second dinner all over again. Then I wake up hungry like a werewolf in the middle of the night and struggle to sleep because of it??
I legitimately gained 10 lb between my 16 and 20 week check up. At this rate I’ll gain the same 50lb at least that I did with my last pregnancy. I was so miserable during the last 2 months because of how heavy I was, and I can’t imagine feeling that way again.

Hello folks, I am planning to buy my first bike in couple of weeks. I am very confused between Speed 400 and CB350RS. I have test ridden both, but couldn't go above 100kmph because of our good highways. My observations : Speed looks so great, I can look at it all day. Finest fit and finish. Very good suspension. And I loved the breaking power. Easy handling.
CB350RS I need to shift the gears at low speeds, design is just okay. I felt the rear break useless. Comparatively speaking.
I am more inclined towards speed 400, only thing bothering me is that I hear lot of reviews where they say there is significant vibrations above 6000rpm. Whereas Honda has a very smooth engine with little to no vibration. It is a big investment for me. And i won't be changing my bike anytime soon. Atleast for next 5 years. I appreciate your valuable opinions.

Whereas Honda has a very smooth engine with little to no vibration. It is a big investment for me. And i won't be changing my bike anytime soon. Atleast for next 5 years. Last November (2023) I started having pain in my forearms (near the elbow around tendons) especially while working using a mouse or keyboard and when I would train upper body, my forearms would get so tight I had to stop. It would take a while for the tightness to subside. Eventually it got worse to the point they would hurt while doing every day activities such as cooking. Pain medication gave me a little relief but did not get rid of all the pain. Strangely the pain always seemed to be worse on one side… mainly the right but never the same intensity on both sides. The pain started going into my hands. Texting became painful and I also had to stop playing piano as just moving my fingers would hurt. I could describe the pain as burning and pinching and sometimes pins and needles in my pinky and right finger. I would try massage, ice, heat, stretching but these were only temporary relief for not very long. When I stopped moving my arms it would go away so at night I could sleep. In the morning I seemed fine but as soon as I started moving again it would come back. I saw a doctor and he suggested I get tested for carpel tunnel and get a nerve test done. Well it wasn’t carpel tunnel. Next I saw a physiotherapist and she suggested compartment syndrome and referred me to a sports doctor. The doctor did not think it was that and suggested my nerves were compressed due to bad posture at work and perhaps bad position while Sleeping. He said to check for ergonomic equipment and correct my posture with a physical therapist. I suggested an xray of my neck too. Well in the meantime it just got worse. Some days were better than others. I got ergonomic equipment and eventually a standing desk. I noticed a small difference but not much. I knew there was something more to just this. Eventually the pain went up into my tricep following a precise path into my underarm into my back up my shoulder blade. Again worse on the right but also a little on the left. At this point I was trying anything for relief. It was becoming really hard to work. I stopped training completely. Massages were the best thing for relief and sometimes I could have 1-2 days without pain but it would always come back. Another doctor had me do an ultrasound of my elbows but only showed I had a little inflammation- not really enough to cause this pain. I never received news on my xray so I thought it was normal. Fast forward to today. I try to limit exertion of my arms and hands as much as possible and it helps but it’s it’s gotten to the point that just movement hurts - like walking. However it is mainly in my left arm now. My right arms seems a lot better. Still the tightness, the pinching and burning but the worst now is in the hand by the wrist. It is very sensitive to touch and feels like its on fire. I figured out if I immobilize my arm and hand it’s better. Sometimes it’s the only way to sleep now. I finally got The nerve test on my arms and hands done but it showed that my nerves were normal- however that particular day I didnt have a lot of pain so maybe that’s why it showed up normal?! I saw a Chiropractor- he did some tests and thought I probably have a slipped disk in my cervical spine as I had a lot of the signs. He prescribed me an MRI which I haven’t gotten an appointment for yet. However just last week when I went back to open clinic because I just couldn’t take it anymore with the pain, the doctor checked my file and pulled out the xray of my neck (that I never got news from) and it showed that I have osteoarthritis in C2-3-4-5 and 6. The doctor was not very clear on the severity and I was a little emotional not understanding what this meant that I did not think to ask. She said it is possible that my pain is coming from compressed nerves from my spine but she didnt rule out a herniated disk. She prescribed Lyrica and I started taking it a few days ago but dont feel any difference yet. So this is where i am now. still waiting for an MRI to be done. I am still in a lot of pain and wondering if its going to be like this for the rest of my life. My moral is not good. i actually called suicide hotline because i just cant take it anymore. I was a very active althletic person and i also coach Crossfit. Its very hard for me right now. I was told with osteoarthritis in my neck I wouldn’t ever be able to do my sport again. I am devastated. Can anyone please give my insight? Am I doomed to feel pain the rest of my life or is this temporary?

Hey guys, 28 Male here.
About 12 months ago my little one started daycare and brought illness home which I copped for 8 weeks really bad - this led to weeks of constipation which eventually fixed itself after some enemas and senna tablets and fixing diet.
My stomach has fully not recovered and I still deal with constipation every now and then and I feel it may be due to some gluten intolerance (not celiac got tested)
Anyways, 3 weeks ago constipation started again but worse than ever 6th-13th May I've had liquid Type 6/7 stool leak out, either bit by bit throughout day or extremely strong with shit loads. 14th May I did 4 enemas as even tho lots of liquid stool came out I still have been full and bloated. 3 very small harder stools came out. 15th May nothing came out. Now the last 3-4 days have just been more of that liquid stool, like sluggish brown and I havnt seen any hard stool for weeks. Doctor prescribed me a strong amount of Movicol 4 days ago and I've been taking it, hence why it's been liquid stool but nothing solid. I feel extremely full and bloated, physically can see it too. I just did another enema and a lot of liquid type 7 stool just flushed out after a day of 2-3 tablespoon amount of type 6 stool. Also I just tried to put my index finger deep in my rectum and honestly couldn't feel anything, not sure how deep I'm meant to go lol went a few inches deep.
No real pain to complain about other than the bloating discomfort No blood in stool No energy loss No weight loss Can still eat fair amount although I am a little loss of appetite due to the fullness
I have no idea what is going on - I travel in 10 days and need this resolved asap.
I am booking a colonoscopy hopefully I can get in before my travel.
Should I look into a colonics centre and will that help? Do I have a bowel obstruction or intestinal obstruction? Should I go to the ER?

I have had seizures since 2014. Taking briviact, lamotrigine and vimpat now. It works great and I have only one seizure a week or sometimes less. Before (only keppra and lamotrigine) I sometimes had like 6 a day for 4 days straight.
Well after having EEG tests and MRI they saw that it came from the left temporal lobe. They said I can have surgery and remove a part. If it's a big part they have to remove, then they won't be able to perform the surgery. They said that I will lose allot more of my memory and speech problems.
I got it from the medication.. I was an honor student and now I can barely read a book.
I did allot of tests and am now waiting for the green light. I'm hoping it will go on.
Has anyone had any experience with left temporal lobe surgery?
How did the recovery go, did u notice a decline in ur memory/speech.
I always find stories about the right side but not so much of the left

The divorce is real. It's not about money, and they're keeping it a secret from Cove, trying to keep things normal for her while she’s still sick. They're still living together as a family, and they're not planning to separate while the cancer thing is still going. Surprisingly, they're getting along well, considering the circumstances.
Things between them were already bad before Cove got diagnosed, just after her diagnosis they knew they couldn’t stay together but kept it together for their daughters to live normally.
Cove was diagnosed on February 2023, they were told she wouldn’t make it through the summer (which is why Aspyn said she’s taking a long break late 2023 but she didn’t). Some of her symptoms were balance and walking issues and some changes in her face. Scans showed tumors near her brain stem, and she started treatment right away.
Cove isn’t doing chemotherapy or radiation anymore, which is why her immune systems isn’t weak and her hair is starting to grow again. They had her doing an experimental trial treatment and her body is responding well to it. She’s not in remission yet though and is still considered terminal. If the trial treatments continue to work it’ll buy them more time.
Since there were a lot of concerns and uncertainties with cove they didn’t physically separate and wanted them to spend as much time as a family together for the sake of their daughters. They wanted Lola to not feel excluded or neglected, and had a third baby through ivf because they wanted Lola to still have a full sister, they also wanted cove and the new baby to meet and spend as much time together. Especially all three of them as sisters for as long as possible.
They baby was conceived through ivf because Aspyn and Parker were separated but wanted a third sister for Lola and Cove. They also wanted to do some tests on the embryo to make sure the placenta stem cells are a match for Cove as an additional thing.

I recently got out of inpatient and was put on Wellbutrin, so I’ve been on it for a week now. I’ve been feeing really dizzy, especially when I first wake up. I can’t really exercise or move around a lot because I end up having to sit down due to being so dizzy.
I know dizziness is a side effect of Wellbutrin, but I’m wondering if the REAL culprit is Trazodone, which I’ve been using to sleep. BUT this is why I’m confused: I took the Traz for about 4 nights in a row and started feeling the dizziness around then (I started the Traz + Wellbutrin around the same time), but not NEARLY to the extent it’s been affecting me these past couple days. These past few nights I stopped taking the Traz and it seems like every time I wake up, I can’t move my head without feeling like I’m spinning.
The reason I’m not sure if it’s the Wellbutrin causing my dizziness is because it’s always at its worst in the morning right when I wake up, before I even take my meds. On the other hand, I’m not sure how it COULD BE the Traz—I only took it for 4 nights and it got worse after I stopped taking it. Can I experience withdrawal symptoms after only taking for 4 days? I can’t imagine that’s very realistic, but I don’t know.
TLDR: I’m having super bad dizziness in the morning and I’m not sure if it’s from Wellbutrin or Trazodone, or even possible withdrawal symptoms from the latter.
*also, this might be worth mentioning. since i stopped the Traz my sleep has been absolutely horrible. I’m sure this plays a role.

The reason I’m not sure if it’s the Wellbutrin causing my dizziness is because it’s always at its worst in the morning right when I wake up, before I even take my meds. On the other hand, I’m not sure how it COULD BE the Traz—I only took it for 4 nights and it got worse after I stopped taking it. Can I experience withdrawal symptoms after only taking for 4 days? I can’t imagine that’s very realistic, but I don’t know.
TLDR: I’m having super bad dizziness in the morning and I’m not sure if it’s from Wellbutrin or Trazodone, or even possible withdrawal symptoms from the latter.
*also, this might be worth mentioning. since i stopped the Traz my sleep has been absolutely horrible. I’m sure this plays a role.

So I am a 27f. I have very mild cerebral palsy which affects both of my legs.
I basically lead an ordinary life. I live by myself, have a masters degree, a job, a social life, traveled a lot and all that.
I need no help with mostly anything in my life, but I do walk with a slightly different, very typical cp gait.
The problem is that I've had body image issues my whole life and this prevented me from dating.
Everytime someone's tried to kiss me, I'd freeze, not being able to kiss back. So as you can guess I've had very little romantic experience and I've never had sex.
I'm in therapy now and it has been helping a lot. So I think I wanna try dating again but I have no idea how to present all this information to potential partners and I do wanna tell them because I would be too nervous to function othervise.
I'm scared I will be stigmatized. I think people would accept me more easily if I were an able-bodied person with no sexsual experience or a person with a disability who has had sexsual experiences. Being both I think will scare people off.
Also I'm bisexsual but I think prefer women.
What are your thoughts? How shuould I go about all this? Would you consider dating someone like me. You can be honest, I won't get hurt I promise 💛 Thank you 🩷🩷

2024.05.19 13:43 Nervous-Channel1617 My printer turns off before starting a print
So backstory to this event, I have owned this printer since October 1st 2023 and done some prints as well as a Mando Helmet (albeit a little small, mb), then one day I messed up when preparing a file and the printer due to this got filament glooped all around the extruder and everywhere. Myself and a mate fixed it and did a print afterwards to test its working and it went fine like there was never an issue however now, roughly 1 month after the issue whenever I got to print my printer gets ready to start, gets into place then shuts off and reboots up again (not a fully reboot, screen still on, lights still on). I have no clue how to fix it or what to do as the printer is functioning fine, everything else works but the actual printing, and yes loading and whatnot work fine, it can print it just won’t. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to fix it?

I have had a valve index for 2 months now. After 1 month specifically on april 18th for some reason my vr couldnt connect to steamvr. Also when i went to device manager neither the cameras nor the headset its self could been seen. A couple of days ago i got a new cable and i tried testing it but this time the pc recognized the headset and can see the cameras. The cameras work fine in every app i have tested but the headset is stuck in stanby mode thus steamvr can not detect it neither the controller nor the basestations. On steammvr the folllowing message pops up: Tether disconnected at headset. The cable is perfectly fine and inside the headset. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hello.. So I’m 33 now back in 2018 I found out that I had literally 0 sperm in my ejaculate and man it was devastating, I also had low T , normal LH and slightly elevated FSH. I also had an ultrasound that showed I had vericoceles that were high grade , because my right testicle is normal size and left is slightly atrophied. The doctor did the operation on them and gave me clomid for 3 months to recheck and I did and nothing came back so I was fed up and upset. I wasn’t even with anyone at the time but it was frustrating that I felt I wasn’t getting answers to the why ! Like why! You would know looking at me I’m 6 1 , good build , my parts are good shape like not to brag but I’m a solid 7 … but It consumed me I went to Penn and was told I’d have a 60% for FNA or mtese .. but said to come back when I’m with someone serious / wife .. I dated rounds for years since then but nothing worked out I eventually moved back home for a bit to save money to buy a home I kinda felt like oh she won’t wanna be with me for my fertility issues so I kinda focused on myself and other passions like my dog , saving for house . I have a lot of friends some are married with kids or on way , some still single like me and I have a beautiful niece and nephew and a god son form another friend. Then recently I went back to urologist cause I wanted to know where I was at again so they did an ultrasound and my nuts grew ! Which is great they are normal size now Alberto lefty still smaller … but the ultrasound also found a new 2-3 mm intratesticilar hypoechoic cyst very small so my doctors want to keep an eye on it but I’m constantly freaking out that it will be cancer I had 2 ultrasounds a month apart that showed no signs of changes or malignancy I even had tumor markers done and a CT scan cause I have bad health anxiety, even did xray on chest and heat and all sorts of urine and bloodwork . Only thing I have is kidney stone. I’m still scared that this will turn into cancer or that it’s some rare cancer I have a recheck in August and I’m scared I don’t want to lose what I’ve been trying to fix best I can. I also don’t want Cancer so .. I can’t keep thinking it will metastasize .. I don’t have any Klinefelters they checked while bloood and no Y deletion im 46xy.. it’s just like idk what to do I have goals and stuff and I can’t help but think I can’t live my life cause I catastrophize thinking oh because I got this rare thing then I’ll get a terrible incurable cancer and I’m toast. I kept reading articles about increased risk for cancers or cysts / nodules for infertile men / azo men and I’m thinking oh fuck here we go .. my doctor told me don’t do that and I never had underfunded testes. / klinefelters or Y deletion either But my doctors say it’s a cyst I’m a healthy young individual , I wanna buy a housei want to date again. I regret feeling inadequate a few years back and wish I manned up to my GF at the time and just did whatever it took to have kids and I feel left out sometimes when I’m with my friend a at their house and they are getting married or ave kids and then there is me and it sucks and I w ant to be able to live and have that for my own no matter what it takes with some one I love and this cyst in my testicle have been a real mind fuck for past 2 months ….. advice , help please , I was atleast ok with my circumstances but now I’m afraid I lose all that too cause of this cyst that I think is cancer even though the doctors tell me it looks like a. Cyst and there is no concern for malignancy.. my therapist says to focus on the facts but I like to think long term and this is getting hard for me and I just want to know I’ll be okay and not have to constantly worry about this like I have been
