2024.05.19 22:30 Khuss87 High SSD temperatures on HX99G
Hi everyone! I have a HX80G model, which is basically exactly the same model as HX99G but with a different CPU model (Ryzen 7 5800H instead of Ryzen 9 6900HX). I bought it with preistalled 1tb ssd and 32gb ram. A preinstalled ssd is some kind of Phison SSD. And I also installed another 1tb SSD, Samsund 980 pro model, in second nvme slot. So, both of my SSDs are installed with a basic heatsinks (the same ones that came with the peinstalled ssd) and under load showing resonable temperatures. 55/56 degrees for Phison model and about 60 degrees for the Samsung model. Not so long ago, a friend of mine bought HX99G, bareborn, and when it arrived, he took two SSDs from his old desktop PC (both are Samsung 970 EVO Plus models) and installed them in his unit. They work fine now; there are no crashes or any other problems, but recently he noticed that while gaming, the temperatures of both his SSDs reach up to 90 degrees Celsius! He also has basic heat sinks installed on them. He tried to take them out and put one of them back in his old PC, and temperatures it showed there was less than 60 degrees under the stress test. So now, we are confused about how to solve this problem. Might it be the problem with the airflow in his particular model of HX99G, because on my unit temperatures of SSDs are much lower in the same conditions? All other temps are very good in his device; in heavy gaming, the CPU shows max 84 degrees and the GPU 72 degrees. Strangely, despite such a high temperatures, SSDs work fine on his device. There was not a single failure while gaming. Maybe someone else had a similar issue and know how to solve it?

2024.05.19 22:29 JoshEng32 DIY Boom Arms
I am in need of a couple of those C-Clamp, Desk-Mounted Mic-Arms. I am going to give them universal applications. This may include a lamp, or a magnifying device, or a fan for solder-fume extraction. I actually intend to do all three. However, buying these arms will cost about $60 total. I am very privy to DIYing this project. The 6063 Aluminum 10x10 cross-sections cost about $5 for 500 mm on AliExpress. However, through this, would honestly not save me much. I feel these arms cost less than 5 dollars to make, and I intend to make them for less than 5 dollars. I just don’t know what material I would use that provides the structure, but gives the same “almost 30 inches” length and for a fraction of the cost.
I appreciate any suggestions! Especially on material and/or where to buy!

2024.05.19 22:27 fartgangthrowemup Would a 30-60 hour water fast do much for inflammation?
I’ll keep it short.
Firstly I’m a very active healthy person. I’ve done intermittent fasting before between evening and morning and I always felt benefits. More light. Clear.
Lately I’ve been eating more gluten (breads, pasta etc) and believe I’m feeling inflamed as I feel more aches than usual. I have brain fog too. I know when I’m in my best and when things slip and right now is a slip as I don’t feel 100%.
I stopped eating last night around midnight and it’s now 3pm next day. I’m just planning to keep drinking until tomorrow or the next day. So somewhere realistically between 30-60 hours no food. Just water and herbal tea / electrolyte drink.
What can I expect? Anything you’d recommend I do to get good effects?
Adios

2024.05.19 22:27 youslumber-acucumber Were you able to lose the lave handles?
Has anyone been able to lose the love handles and/or lower belly fat. I'm starting keto again, two weeks in, and I'm as thin as can be except for these two areas that stick out a bit.
I walk every day between 30-60 minutes and eat under 20 carbs a day. I wonder if the love handles will ever go, or how long it will take.

2024.05.19 22:27 sbtrey23 I keep playing this 3.0 woman in mixed tournaments who plays in the 3.5/7.0 draw, but would be considered a bad 2.5, and it’s painfully boring
I’ve played her three times over the past 2 years and in that time, she and her boyfriend have gotten a total of 4 games off me and whoever I’m playing with. And the games are always on his serve and we tend to lose them because we are way up and we are actively making sure we avoid hitting to her at the net because she’s such a liability. I was late on his serve once the first time I played them and sorta blocked the ball her way at net and it hit her racquet and hit her in the face. Since then, we always make sure to avoid hitting to her at net.
In the three times we’ve played her, she’s returned one of my serves. Today, I hit 9 serves to her and had 8 aces, and the other one barely hit her racquet. I do normally serve hard, but to her, I’m literally hitting it slower than in warmups.
She hits her serves so high, that when they bounce, I usually end up with an overhead inside the service line. We literally hit balls at the pace I hit with the beginner kids I coach and she still routinely barely makes contact and sometimes swings and misses.
They incorrectly rate her so that she can play with her boyfriend, but she is just not getting better at all, and she just can’t unless she tries to play some 2.5 draws. The matches are painfully boring and the worst part is, between every point, the boyfriend coaches her up for 30-60 seconds. It got so bad today that an official had to step in and tell them to hurry up.
Not looking for a solution or anything, just wanted to rant about that because it is so frustrating. My partner and I almost dropped out because we were dreading playing them so much (partly because it’s boring, and partly because I’m legitimately concerned about her getting hurt by us).

2024.05.19 22:27 Hi-Im-Moody-Cracker Am I wrong for mostly being angry at my aunt and uncle?
My friend has been feeling rough since her therapist upped her Abilify to 5 mg. Almost every side effect of the medication she had. Well, I'd been up and down with her from the time we went to bed. Saturday 2 am. I'd wake up to her crying about her muscles spasms, not being able to breathe, and her chest hurting. We thought it was from her not bringing her sleep apnea machine with her. I mean, she took her medicine the day before and it helped her chest not hurt. Well, about noon I noticed her face once the window light shined on her. I flipped out. She looked like death and her lips were bluish. I called my dad and he had me call my aunt and uncle next door to see if they'd watch my kids. OK, so I did. I literally said to them, "Can you guys watch my kids, I need to take my friend to the hospital right now." They said they couldn't and that they were taking her daughter out. I called my dad back and told him. He wasn't happy of course (my dad was an hour away). I hung up and I went and made my husband get his a$$ up (he works 2nd and some of 3rd shift). Of course my aunt walks up there and hinders me from leaving because she wouldn't shut up long enough to let me get a word in edge wise. My friend was incoherent, but she managed to get in my car.
Before anyone ask about the ambulance, let me explain. It took them forever to arrive the last time I called them for my sister. It was like 20 minutes. The ride to the hospital for us is like 20 to 25 minutes if you do 60 mph in a 45 zone.
Anyway, my friend gets in my car and I had her call her mom. Her mom said she's not making any sense. She was very incoherent by the half way there mark. By the time I got 2 minutes away, She said, "Oh my God!" And tensed up before completely going limp (she coded). I ran the red light since no one was there and quickly hurried to the ER. My friend had 2 heart attacks 1 in my car and 1 like 4 hours later. She coded both times. CPR brought her back, but it took 10 minutes. I stayed by her side as much as the hospital staff allowed me to be. Her parents and brother had to drive like 5 to 6 hours to get to her as she was visiting me from out of state. While I was sitting there in the ER, I sent my aunt a text. I was as nice as I could be. I sent her: "I love you guys, but your plans could've waited for at least an hour. I needed to get my friend to the freaking ER and instead I was held up by others. Right now, I don't know if she is going to live as she is in critical condition and on a ventilator. She coded before I got into the hospital parking lot, and they had to do 10 minutes of CPR. My only friend. Love you guys, but I'm beyond P.O."
Her response was, "This is your uncle we didn't know she was that bad off and why didn't you call sooner than you did we would have changed our plans?"
I'm sitting there even more ticked off. Like, how am I supposed to call sooner if I've been dealing with my 3 kids and trying to care for my friend at the same time. She didn't look like that 30 minutes prior while she tried to eat cereal. I looked at her while she fell asleep eating that cereal I fixed her. I took her blood pressure, but I couldn't read the electronic stuff and she was just in and out of it, so she couldn't tell me (she was in nursing school). Emergencies come up out of nowhere, so please tell me how the heck am I supposed to let someone know ahead of time to watch my kids? They hadn't even left yet, so they could have called her daughter up and said they'd be late. I would've called someone else once I got my friend to the hospital and situated. I'm very upset about all of this and I feel like I could have saved her life if I hadn't had been held up by certain individuals. I want to blame them for her not making it since my aunt held me up about 10 to 15 minutes longer than needed. I keep blaming myself in all of this. I'm even blaming her therapist that upped her medicine. She had a majority of the bad side effects of Abilify. I lost my only friend. She was 29. We spoke every single day and sent each other silly videos off of Facebook. She loved my children so much. It's hard to find friends like her.
As the title says and as of now, I'm not really into speaking to my aunt and uncle.

- 5-18-2024 HAVE SMARTPHONES KILLED THE ART OF CONVERSATION? Once upon a time, human relationships unfolded without smartphones. The reality may be hard to recall, so profoundly have these devices transformed the way we relate to the world and others in fifteen years or so. As an anthropologist interested in modernity, I am particularly preoccupied by the impact of these devices on our conversations. In my book, “The End of the Conversation? Words in a Spectral Society” (French original: “La fin de la conversation? La parole dans une société spectrale”), I investigate the pernicious effects of this technology
- 5-18-2024 HOW TO REWARD EMPLOYEES FAIRLY AND IMPROVE TEAM DYNAMICS A recent study has shed light on how to reward employees more fairly and improve team dynamics. The study found that when less skilled employees report their performance voluntarily, they often exaggerate their achievements and ask for higher bonuses. These employees also tend to put in less effort and are less concerned about fairness when sharing their contributions voluntarily. Interestingly, the researchers discovered that requiring employees to explain their contributions leads to fairer decisions about bonus allocation and improves
- 5-19-2024 BILLIONS ARE SPENT ON EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY, BUT WE DON’T KNOW IF IT WORKS During the COVID lockdowns, schools and universities worldwide relied on education technology—edtech—to keep students learning. They used online platforms to give lessons, mark work and send feedback, used apps to teach and introduced students to programs that let them work together on projects. In the aftermath of school closures, the market for edtech has kept on growing. The value of the sector is projected to rise to US$132.4 billion globally by 2032. The problem is that we don’t know very much about how effective many edtech apps or programs

In fact, what they really want is a chatbot that makes it clear that it is not human at all. In a new study, researchers found that people preferred interacting with chatbots when they felt embarrassed about what they were buying online—items like antidiarrheal medicine or, for some people, skin care products. “In general, research shows people would rather interact with a human customer service agent

One of those experiments—led by Matthew Gentzkow and Hunt Allcott, economics professors at Stanford University—centered on more than 35,000 Facebook and Instagram users who were paid to stay off the platforms in the run-up to Election Day. Brands like Mattel, once criticized for promoting unrealistic body standards and gender stereotypes, now portray themselves as feminist and progressive. 2024.05.19 22:24 Turbulent_Average115 Hat unser Hund zu wenig Auslastung?
Hallo,
- Morgens: kleine Runde (10-15 Minuten)

2024.05.19 22:23 UtushoReiuji I made a huge lore about this creature.
Boykissers are extremely weak specimens with the average length of 15cm, and only weighing from 50 to 80 grams.
They are barely stronger than that of a Tiger Prawn or Two-spotted Field crickets(Gryllus bimaculatus).
Astoundingly weak that even an adult was sometimes hunted by: Chinese Mantis(Tenodera sinensis), European Mantis(Mantis religiosa), Cane Huntsman Spider(Heteropoda venatoria), Greater Arid-Land Katydid(Neobarritia spinosa), Giant Asian Mantis(Hierodula patellifera), Asian Giant Hornet(Vespa mandarina) and even Giant orb weavers(Nephila pilipes).
Their vocalizations consists a very annoying, femboyish: "Ohh you like kissing boys you are a homosexual boy kisser"/"Ohh you like kissing girls you are a heterosexual girl kisser". Variations do exist; But what all they have in common as they are reported to be much more annoying than Asian Koels at midnight times.
Their diet is similar to that of a rat, eats what they sees in front of them. They don't require that much of food and mainly scavangers. They don't even have the capacity to hunt down a two-spotted field cricket, so they hunt slow and small targets such as: larva and grubs, earthworms and pillbugs. But hunting rarely occurs, often observed to eat trash or leaf litters, fallen fruits.
It's intelligence is lower that of reptiles; for example, leopard geckos and anoles. And their maxinum speed is about recorded to be 0.7 to 3km/h.
To fix that, they have specifically evolved into one thing: High reproductive rate. They are extremely prolific, able to make another generation in a matter of 14 days. Their litter size is from 15 to 20 individuals.
Baby boykissers, weighs as much as 0.5 - 1.2 grams; where as Juvenile boykissers weighs around 8 - 20 grams.
So that's make them very vulnerable to insects, and are favorite foods of Dragonflies,
Predatory Crickets,
Ants,
Cockroaches,
Robber flies,
even Antlions(Myrmeleontidae species.) Their offspring mortality rate is around 85%.
Sometimes, something like Thrushes and Starlings, Bullfrogs, Centipedes, Whipscorpions or Vinegaroons(Uropygi), True Scorpions, Tokay geckos, and even a Tarantula could even destroy an entire family of boykissers without significant effort.
Their prominent femboyish voice would instantly enrage almost everything; making them very vulnerable to predation. In the ecosystem, they don't serve a purpose; they can't pollinate or fertilize the soil,
their only purpose is to be bodied by almost everything and provide food for the ecosystem. Boykissers are primary/rarely secondary producers, often placed below that of rabbits as you commonly see in a food chain diagram. They are often surplus killed as some humans and predators hunts the for sport/lashing out.
As a result, Baby and Juvenile boykissers are often commonly used in live feed for predatory insects such as mantis and antlions, and small reptiles such as anoles; Adult boykissers are commonly live fed to Chickens, Monitor Lizards including komodo dragons, Ducks, House cats, Dogs, Mustelids.
They are often bred in suppliers.
In fishing, Baby boykissers can be used to fish River prawns and Crayfish; where as juvenile boykissers suits medium fish like Tilapias and adult boykissers fish baits larger fishs such as Salmon, Tuna, Sailfish, even Groupers.
There are absolutely no law regulations towards boykissers, so they could be ground up in shredder and mix it in livestock feed, fish chums, Boiled alive to make more digestible treats; or even beaten up by the packagers while shipping from frustration.
For Boykissers, They can be sold in a 100 individuals for 3 euro(100 TWD).
Due their prolific efficiency to make offsprings, there are companies which can produce 1 billion boykissers per year. they are lucrative businesses in martial arts for replaceable sandbags, stress relievers, pet stores and fishing stores.
Children usually play them like soccer or beating them up, and not punished by teachers because no one wants to protect them.
You cannot be arrested, no matter how you torment them and caught on live camera, as Animal Welfare Organizations don't consider them as sentinent creatures.
Domain:Eukaryota Kingdom:Animalia Phylum:Chordata Class:Mammalia Grandorder:Ferungulata Mirorder:Ferae Order:Carnivora Suborder:Feliformia Family:Shittidae Subfamily:Shittinae Genus:
Shit Species:
S. fuckus Binominal Name *Shit fuckus* (Huang, 2024)
Boykissers have bone density of average of 0.6 to 0.7g/cm², makes them very prone to fracture and breaking. Adapted a bipedal stance, the weight bearing ability in legs can reach 0.85g/cm². Compared to humans who had 1.8 to 1.9g/cm²; boykisser is way much inferior than most animals in bone strength. From a live hydraulic press experiment, it only takes 8 kilograms force; or 72 joules/meter(72 newtons) to pulverize every single bone in adult boykissers. for single bone, and it would take 0.5 - 3kgf or 4.9 to 29 Joule/meter(4.9 - 29N) to pulverize the entire femur of boykissers. Their muscle tissue are quite weak; with the strongest individual in the sample tested lifting strength with whole body don't generally exceed 12 grams, with average of them at 65 grams never exceeded 5 grams.
Lifting strength never exceed 12 grams with whole body with bones 3x weaker than average human. They have one of the lowest size to strength ratio, no claws and have uneffective teeth. 0.8 - 1.5N(0.1 to 0.2psi), 30x weaker than that of the horned frog in bite.
IQ is lower than reptiles such as geckos, and comparable to that of a severe/profound child or a koala. Skin is about 5 micrometers thick and could be punctured by even hit by an european robin.

2024.05.19 22:22 PrincipleOtherwise70 [Hershey Park] Trip Report (5/18)
| [Hershey Park] Trip Report 5/18 Hello everyone! So as I discussed in my last trip report l, a good friend came up to visit me in VA to experience some new theme parks they had never done. Day 1 (Friday) was Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens in ONE day the link to that report is here: https://www.reddit.com/rollercoasters/s/knR1swL1yQ Day 2 (Saturday) was a trip to Hershey park! This is a 3.5-4 hour drive that is well worth it. I went to Hershey last year for the first time and was blown away by how much I enjoyed it so I was exited to go back and also excited to guide my friend as they experienced the park. So going into the trip I already anticipated that there would be some rain for a portion of the just by checking the weather repeatedly. This did not deter us from going as I didn’t see any indications of a major thunderstorm. But we knew to dress accordingly bringing pants and rain jackets. I initially figured the rain would help with crowds so we wouldn’t need to purchase fast passes. Park opened at 11, but we went arrive till noon. As we’re driving into Pennsylvania the rain was coming down moderately nothing too crazy. I checked the app to see some wait times and I was kind of stunned. 105 minute waits, 90 minute waits, 75 minute waits for pretty much all the major coasters that were open. I knew then and there we would have to purchase fast pass so we did do that 100 bucks a piece before even getting in to the park. I was a little disappointed to see that storm runner and skyrush were both showing closed on the app, but I attributed that to the rain and had fingered cross that they both would be running a little later (spoiler I was correct they did open). Slight side note, this is the 2nd time I’ve had to purchase fast passes here. I believe last year I went on a Saturday as well and it was REALLY busy. So for anyone who has to travel to this park, if you are going on a Saturday I would strongly recommend getting the fast pass even if it’s saying it will rain. They have 2 options the regular fast pass which lets you skip the line once per ride and then unlimited one which gives you unlimited skips. Each time I’ve just done the one and it’s been enough for me, but I wouldn’t mind getting the upgraded version In the future to get more re-rides on certain things (more on that later) Anyways we get to the park around noon and I see a kiosk before you go in the park where it can automatically print out your fast pass wrist bands. LOVE this kiosk really great idea. Last year I had to go in the park to a building to get this and while it wasn’t an issue, your momentum is interrupted by having to take care of your entrance ticket and then having to go in the park and take care of the fast pass at another location. So here are the rides we did in order. Candymonium: this ride always has a huge line right at open and no surprise it was 90 minutes. But with fast pass we skipped all that which was great. What wasn’t great were the operations. The ride attendant controlling the dispatches was holding the gates for a ridiculous amount of time. They were running 2 trains, but The train behind was stacking every time while the train in the station was empty and not loaded at all because the gates were closed. I wasn’t sure if he was new or what, but that is not how to load and unload trains idc what park you’re at. Anyways we do front row which was a first for me since I did back row last year. I really like Candymonion (CM) it’s a fun hyper that is incredible smooth. Good airtime moments on all the hills. It’s not an intense ride at all, but just a really fun ride to start the day. Skyrush: I saw Skyrush send a test train right when we exited CM and was so excited so we darted there. I was ready to try out the new trains. The older trains were verrry tight on the thighs, but it was still a crazy wild ride so I was excited to see how this would turn out with new trains. They were only doing one train ops the whole day for Skyrush but this didn’t matter for us because we had the fast pass so we got on the back row rather quickly. I did a wing seat same as I did last time. Skyrush was and still is very intense especially when compared to CM. The new restraints are very comfortable and I wasn’t stapled in the station but the G forces did push the restraints further down almost immediately at the pull out of the first drop. Even still…the ejector airtime is just crazy on this ride. The kink in the drop is quirky as always and noticeable pop of ejector at that moment. The camel back I was flying out the seat even with the restraint having moved in a little. The laterals were good too but not overly crazy. A good flinging out the seat moment occurred on one of the direction change transitions but interestingly that same moment felt wilder the last time I ride it. The ride is ‘smooth’, but not say glass smooth like CM you can feel a little rattle in some portions. I dont think it detracts from the ride at all though. & Either way still a great ride. I wish I did another ride on this. Both of my visits I only did it once. I enjoy it every time but I just keep feeling like I need to do it again to get a good feel for the experience. Great bear: I liked Great bear last year, but this year it really stood out to me as a star of an attraction. I’m not sure what it was. It was running wonderfully. Very smooth. Back car is just fantastic for this ride getting pulled down the drop (and talk about a drop that is the most interesting B&M first drop). Great positives but not overly headache or grey out inducing positives. All the rolls had a really good balance of snap and gracefulness to them. I enjoyed this ride so much it may beat out Carowinds afterburn as my #2 in my ranking of best inverts I’ve done. I will need to re-ride afterburn again to fully make that claim but this ride was seriously phenomenal. (Definitely prefer this over Alpengeist which has a trim that nerds the 2nd half of that layout really bad) Storm runner: I saw storm runner running with guests while in the queue for Skyrush so I was exited. But as we were walking to storm runner the rain had picked up a little again and I didn’t see any more trains running I was getting nervous. Once I get there I see people in the station but no one in the trains. I asked and an attendent said the ride was down currently for weather. I was bummed but I figured the raid would peter out again and we’d revisit. Instead we did: Jolly Rancher Remix (boomerang): this one was still operating in the weather conditions at that time so we used our flash pass to skip a long line and get right on. I skipped this one last time as I didn’t really care about boomerangs so this was a new credit for me. I was VERY impressed. It was really fun. Good comfortable restraints. And the tunnel with the fog was such a nice touch. It was a little disorienting going backward which was great. I will definitely be riding this each visit. The boomerangs aren’t super tall but in the back car on the way up at that angled slope it feels really tall. Nice visual effect. After this we had an intermission since it was raining anyway we had a reservation at the chocolatier restaurant so we headed there next. I did this restaurant last time and it was alright, but since I had other people with me who hadn’t experienced it I figured why not. The ambience is still super nice with this place as it was last time. I got an 18 dollar cookies and cream milkshake which is pricey but it was gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous and delicious! I ordered the salmon and I was a bit disappointed with this choice and wished I had just gotten a burger. The salmon wasn’t horrible but they sprinkled some heath nuts (?) on top and it really didn’t taste like heath at all just nuts. I scraped them off as I didn’t like that flavor or texture combination. All In all after 2 visits to this restaurant I guess I could visit again, but honestly I would like to see or try something else for dining in the park (suggestions welcome). Again it’s a pretty restaurant with a nice ambience but it’s pricey and each time I’m not leaving 100% satisfied so ehh? Anyways it stopped raining by the time we left the restaurant and I was seeing trains for some major coasters being tested so we bee line it to: Storm runner (PT 2): this time it was open. Storm runner was THE highlight attraction for me last year so I could not wait to ride it again. And it did not disappoint. This is a gem of an attraction that I just can’t get enough of. 30 seconds of pure adrenaline and the heart beat audio playing in the station every so often was just fantastic. This was my friends first ever hydraulic launch so I was excited for them to experience it. And this launch is just simply one of the best I’ve ever been on and I’ve done. It’s a gut punch in the best way how powerful this acceleration is. Super unfortunate that they are a maintenance nightmare for parks and Intamin is no longer doing this model type because these launches can’t be beat by even the best Intamin LSM. So I do recommend people who haven’t done one to try storm runner. What I love about this ride is that even after the top hat it’s not over they incorporated such an action packed layout and that flying snake dive element is world class. I rode in the back the first time but we ended up circling back towards the end of the day there was pretty much no one in line so we got two more rides in the front. While you can’t go wrong In any row This is a front row ride it just blew me away once again. I hope they continue to maintain this rare kind of coaster because it is again a gem. Farenheight: next we did this. Line was a little long but with fast pass we were in in no time. Rode in the back car and it was super fun! Lot of positive Gs on the first couple valleys. It had a great ejector bunny hill towards the end and a great head chopper moment as well. All In all I really like Farenheight. I think I prefer their take on the vertical lift model as opposed to Gerstlauer but from a cost perspective I can see why parks would go for a Gerstlauer. Wildcats Revenge: last year when I rode this I ofc enjoyed it because..hello RMC. But there were some critiques u had about some questionable lateral forces on some unbanked sections that weren’t super comfortable. The line was long ofc but with fast pass we cut right In front of all the lines. I rode again in the back. But I noticed I wasn’t nearly as stapled in the restraint as I was last time. I think I had the restraint kind of around the minimum position where the sensor would ‘approve’ and show up green on the monitor maybe a little bit lower down. The attendant didn’t try and staple me either (I try to prop one of my legs up to help with this) and I must say my experience was sublime. Not being pinned down I was gettting LAUNCHED out the seat each element very powerful ejector. I had a similar experience to Great Bear where I really appreciated this layout the second visit around. It was fantastic. I thought it was a clear step below Twisted Timbers before but not its right up there with that one maybe even higher with this sublime experience (I have iron gwazi and Arie Force as # 1 and 2 for RMC). Laff Trak: another new credit. The fast pass did nothing for us wait time wise. The queue inside with the mirrors had no air ventilation or AC going. It was very muggy and uncomfortable in there. Hershey will need to do something about that. As it warms up people could get really sick or have a heat stroke in there. One of the people in my party walked out the line because they were feeling sick. Anyways I braved the hot queue and eventually rode I was pleasantly surprised. The indoor neon light in the dark cutouts looked AMAZING. Seriously stunning. The ride itself is fun with a nice drop. The rest of the layout leaves some to be desired. Would have liked to see something a little more wild actually. The seats didn’t spin that that much either so that was kind of a disappointment but the theming inside the attraction was the standout part for me. Comet: last ride of the day was comet. In hindsight I wish I had gone to Skyrush but my friend was trying to get a new credit so I was supporting them. Comet is a fun classic wooden coaster that looks great with the classic wooden coaster strobe lights that were on in full effect. It’s my understanding they got new trains for the ride? I noticed they looked very clean and polished. The ride itself is a fun little wood coaster that doesn’t offer a whole lot in terms of thrills for me but I can still appreciate it. We ended the day in that huge merch shop attached to the chocolatier restaurant and did some shopping in Hershey world for candy we don’t need haha. They have great merch at Hershey park I will say. TLDR: had a fabulous trip to Hershey park despite some rain we were able to get on most of the major coasters. Highly recommend. submitted by PrincipleOtherwise70 to rollercoasters [link] [comments] |
