I had some overheating problems with my pc so i just bought a larger cpu cooler which just about fits with my motherboard and gpu. whilst i was doing this i accidentally got some thermal paste on the cpu pins which i cleaned with alcohol and a brush and hoped i did a good job. when i turned on my pc it took me to the bios and said i had a new cpu installed then after i exited it, it was fine. I loaded up a game and it was all working well until my keyboard and mouse just froze (and maybe monitor but im not sure) now everytime i boot it, it says no signal and my mouse and headphones aren't lighting up like they should be. my keyboard is lighting up. Anyway i can fix this?

Fell off the wagon again. Been a few weeks which was pretty good. Something to build on. But I feel like every time I relapse I drink like 20% more than what my previous baseline was. Does this happen to anyone else? Like the last couple days I looked at the bottles in the cabinet going “wait did I really drink that much? That’s not good.” While I’m happy that I’m putting in multiple sober weeks in at a time, this trend of drinking more and more every time I do relapse isn’t sustainable.

I wanted to take a moment before the final to write about our season. I have written about our previous two knockout ties against city and Bayern but now we have finally arrived to the summit of our season and the summit of a Real Madrid team which we won’t see in the same way without our maestro and conductor - Toni Kroos.

But yet here we are almost 9 months later ready to compete to win our 15th what a privilege for our fans to witness this moment. In an interview recently after eliminating Bayern, Carlo said that this was the best group of players he has ever managed. The fact that he said that having coached the likes of legends in Madrid and Milan of the past speaks volumes of the perseverance and team spirit we have shown this season. These are not easy things to do and players need time to adapt but this team has done a momentous job shifting from a 4-3-3 and adapting to a diamond 4-3-1-2 or rather a 4-4-2, and playing for the needs of the team.

1. This is where I would like to talk about Ancelotti and his ability to manage based on what the club needs rather than his own personal style. The reason why Madrid are historically successful is because they don’t have a “style” they adapt and have the clutch factor to win when it matters and achieve the unprecedented.

Managers like pep are positionist and rely heavily on rehearsed plays that hinder the expression of freedom from players. Real and Carlo as of late have always been relationist allowing for a flow or mixture and adaptation. Against city we had to play a mid block in the first leg and stop their build up before they can push into our box to force them wide. I think we can all agree that when you look at our side of the bracket in our run of the champions league, every team in our bracket would mop the floor with the teams in dortmund’s side of the bracket. I’m not saying Dortmund don’t deserve to be in the final they have earned to be there playing a defensive approach that sees the entire team defend when they need to. They have fast paced dribblers in sancho and adeyemi and a physical box presence in fullcrug. Their centre backs rank the highest in long ball passes in Europe and they play in quick transitions like a German team. They’ve shown resilience to overcome their opponents but let’s not forget they did top the group of death and that is no coincidence. Upon watching their games I think the one that impressed me the most was their win against atletico at home. They have qualities to cause us problem so we should be vary of how we approach them.

What troubled us against leipzig was when they played to clog us centrally and cause us issues in turnovers. Against Bayern in the first leg we didn’t acclimatise to the width their wingers found to score. My only worry remains our aerial and set pieces defence with the likes of a physical target man like fullcrug supplied by pace around him we need to be careful but I’m sure Carlo and co are well prepared and I trust the team handles this Dortmund side and take them to task.

1. I want to talk about the aura of Madrid in finals and how “Real Madrid don’t play finals, they win them”. Some of you may be supporting them for the first time in a final while for some they may have lost track. Personally this will be the sixth time I will be watching them play the champions league final and in my heart I know we will win it. Real humility lies in accepting that your opponent can beat you even if you are the favourite but Real perseverance lies in knowing that we will never give up no matter what. That is forever ingrained in me from 10 years ago when Sergio Ramos equalised in 92:48 to make us destroy atletico 4-1. I have since watched us win from going behind early on, winning in penalties and brutally destroying our opponents. Just like Carlo says I cannot explain what it is but there is something special about this club, it’s the winning dna, the spirit of juanito the comeback mentality, the myth and legend of this club and shirt that allows us to transcend and excel.

If you believe that there is something special about this club then you will know that we will win tonight. A year ago I’ll never forget how low I felt as a fan when we lost 4-0 to city. We have come a long way since then and a long way in this tournament getting revenge against city and beating Bayern Munich. We have come a long way to this final to lose against a side like Dortmund. And I will back my statement by pointing out a unique tradition that sees us always winning the champions league whenever we eliminate the reigning champions.
We have ALWAYS eliminated the title holders in the UCL era whenever we have faced them in the knockout rounds. And guess what ? Each time that happens we go on to win the champions league!

I have some grey birch saplings that were allowed to dry out. I’ve since taken them inside and given them lots of water and cooler temperatures. Some came back strong and will be ready to plant soon. There are others like this: one tiny leaf emerging low on the trunk. I’m wondering if I should give it a plant fertilizer like miracle grow to help it along. So I just called to schedule a consultation for electrolysis and I found it strange that the receptionist was trying to convince me to do laser hair removal instead. She said it’s quicker and cheaper which I already know. However, I told her that I am a dark skinned black woman and I also have PCOS and in my research I have encountered too many negative outcomes regarding both of those. On the first account of me being a dark skinned black woman, it can cause burns and hyperpigmentation. Regarding the PCOS, I’ve read that the laser can actually stimulate follicles that weren’t active before with many women ending up not only with the hair growing back but with even more hair that wasn’t there before and STILL having to move on to electrolysis which comes out more expensive in the long run.
Hirsutism is the most devastating aspect of PCOS for me, so I take this very seriously. If I end up getting more hair growth due to laser it will negatively affect my mental health. She did acknowledge these factors and stated that they have treated people of my racial background and skin tone and that they use the YAG laser which apparently works for us. She also stated that with PCOS I would likely have to do maintenance anyways, which is fine, but I would rather not risk stimulation of inactive follicles still? Idk, they offer both so I thought it was weird she was pushing so hard for laser. I would rather skip to the more permanent option. I have the consultation set for tomorrow but I am going to call around to a few other places that are open today too. She said they will go into more detail during the consultation and will likely state similar things she did. What do you guys think about this? Should I risk laser?

Backstory -
My biological father and I had never been close. I have grown up with 2 stories about my childhood- from my mother that he abandoned me and from him that she kept me away from him.
I’ve accepted the fact that I will never know the truth of the matter and that is okay, but at 18 I attempted to cultivate a relationship with him.
About 3 years later, at 22, I moved in with him (or rather, my great grandmother, he lived with and still lives with her) due to exiting an extremely abusive relationship.
One day, out of the blue he came into my room, yelling at me about how the day before I blew him off. I tried to explain to him that I had gone into work that day (a sales job) to try to close on some deals and he called me a liar, etc etc.
Additionally he made some comments regarding my last name.
I had been adopted by the man I call my dad, and took his last name, got married and divorced and took my maiden name back on - he seemed to be confused as to why I didn’t take back on HIS name.
Anyway, after going around and around in arguments that just didn’t make sense, I felt like I was in a loop; he slapped me, and (this was VERY WEIRD) stuck his fingers down my throat when I was yelling back at him. Eventually he kicked me out; he told me to never tell anybody he was my father.
So I left, changed my number and removed myself from social media - this was about 10 years ago and I went no contact.
During this time, I realized a huge abandonment wound was opened.

About 4 days ago, my biological father’s mother found my phone number online from when I was a realtor. Last night he called me. I had the phone on speaker with my partner nearby because I know bio dad’s tactics and I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t allowing my ego to flare up and get out of line to make the situation worse.
During the conversation I attempted to see the situation through his eyes and he AGAIN continued the loop of “your mother kept you from me” “you believe everything she says” “you should have picked up the phone, I tried to contact you” and told me that the things within the fight DIDNT happen. It was as if this 10 year old fight, one that I moved on from, happened THIS AFTERNOON for him.
Also during the conversation he mentioned to me that he tells my half brother that he believes me to be a survivor and he, my brother , to be weak, essentially. Why one would say that to their child I cannot comprehend.
After realizing he would never express sympathy or acknowledge any wrongdoing on his part, he asked if I was planning on having children - I am still unsure at this time, but if it happens it happens - and he asked me not to keep them from him. I am starting to feel anxious that he will expect a relationship between us.

AI, what a wonderful invention, you can chat with it, play with it, get information out of it and copy their works to do homeworks- wait that doesn't sound right. When I was a kid at primary school, I wasn't good at English, but after about 12 yes old, I begin to develop writing strategies from reading books, especially fiction with action in them, I also like adding blood gore in them sometimes (proud to say I learn how to write animals dying from WC satire) so when the 2nd term writing was about cats and with action, I was pretty thrilled and over the clouds when it was announced. I prepared for it A LOT, like thinking of the plot and even write a draft of the action scenes. And the day comes where we started writing, the teacher gave us permission to use iPad and said for "research" and "learning" and trust us to not do anything else. I actually sympathise the teacher as after that my classmates used some AI to do their work. I don't have perfect grammar, my grammar test IS the one that pull my marks down. And your telling me that people just copy and paste and I have to be extra careful? And the app is self installed by the iPad itself. Good thing? I wrote 900 words (the word count is 250 above, most people wrote 4-500) and given the honour of having my teacher re-read the writing. Bad thing? I nearly have a mental breakdown because of the story while my classmates were laughing. And I don't even know my marks yet, it's either lower or higher than them, and I damp want to drag them from hell to back. I currently live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend, our cats, and dog. I have two male cats (1 year old Siamese Lynx and 3 year old tabby mix). My two cats have access to the majority of the apartment at all times, everything except the bathroom and one of the bedrooms.
Unfortunately my boyfriend and I have decided we no longer want to live together (we’re young and need more time alone, moved in together too quickly). We got the cats together in this apartment and he doesn’t like them as much as the dog. I’m moving back in with my parents for the time being and taking the cats. Would it be cruel to keep the cats confined to one room?
The bedroom in question is quite large imo (over 17 feet by 13 feet), as it’s a big room in the finished basement. They’ll have their cat tree in there and I’ve thought about getting those wall shelves they can go on. Eventually if possible giving them full access to the basement only. The basement doesn’t have a door just an entryway so this depends on finding a way to keep them in the basement only..
The cats can NOT have access to the main level of the house. My Siamese Lynx has PICA and mainly eats fabric pieces (clothing and dish towels) and silicone/plastic. With this being said it’s not on my parents to deal with this. They always have lots of dish towels out, the laundry room is open, it’d be a lot for my parents to change so he doesn’t eat things he shouldn’t.
Another reason is my parents have three dogs. The three dogs have access to their dog kibble 24/7 as they can self regulate eating. BOTH my cats will eat their kibble if they have a chance. My cats are rescues and eat whatever they can whether it’s people, cat, or dog food.
So overall it’d be too much to adjust to have my cats have access to their entire home, but it seems like my cats will be stuck to the one room for now.

Hello D. I hope you’ve been doing well the past few months. I have been wanting to update you on what life has been like for me AND of course I want nothing more than to hear how life has been for you especially.
First, I am forever sorry for how I handled the way you ended things with me. I know it was very difficult and it left you heart broken, having to choose what's best for you, thus walking away from me. It stuck with me when you said you felt you weren’t enough. I want to make one thing very clear, if there is anything you take away from this letter it must be this- you are NOT the reason for me not fighting for us at the time. This time apart taught me about the personal issues I have. This time apart has shown me that I lacked the inability to communicate my wants and needs in a healthy manner AND that’s why I didn’t argue or fight for us. It absolutely had nothing to do with you.
The breakup needed to happen no matter how much I did not want it to. We would have fallen out eventually. I needed you to walk away from me because I was not changing. At that time I didn’t understand myself. I didn’t understand how to process my emotions fully. I did not understand why I am able to shut my internal self off when I’m confronted with emotions and vulnerability.
It was March when I felt something deeply wrong inside of me. I could not figure it out on my own (like I usually do). So for the first time, I reached out for help. I caved and started going to therapy which is something I never believed in. When I was a child, if I was ever sad or upset or felt anything. My parents' response was to work and stay focused. That caused me to bottle up my emotions and not work on them. After some time in therapy, it was realized that I have a dismissive avoidant attachment style. I was like, what the heck does that mean? I thought the therapist was making stuff up. This is all brand new to me. It sent me down a rabbit hole of personal development and learning methods to work with other people who do not share the same attachment style as me.
I was given exercises. I was told to journal, which to my surprise gave me a sense of relief. I write about my past traumas. I write about us. I would write about how you made me feel. I’d write about being grateful and acknowledging the change. I analyzed past relationships of mine and noticed I indeed had a pattern of avoiding emotional confrontation. I’ve realized that if I didn’t work on this then I’d forever be caught in an endless cycle of heartbreak and not solving this would prevent me from achieving my biggest goal in life, and that is to be the best father I can be.
So thank you for ending things with me because without you doing so. I would not have put in the work to figure myself out.
For the first time in my life I am fully aware of my emotions. I have made peace and forgiven myself for my actions. I have also forgiven you. It took me a while to process all of my emotions regarding the break up, because of my attachment style. My mind naturally suppresses what I am feeling when I am overwhelmed. We have a 22 month old, he's been a descent sleeper - trained with CIO at 6 months and has slept through nights since then up till the past 2-3 weeks. The last 2-3 weeks he gets up at night crying (no actual tears though) and yelling "mama". He goes to bed at 7 pm (and wakes up 6 am for the day) but he wakes up sometimes 11 pm, 2 am, 4 am, or even 5 am yelling "mama". I am not sure what is wrong as he is our first and so we've never experienced toddlerhood until now. Is this normal? How can we help him? We try to give him 10-20 minutes sometimes to settle on his own otherwise we will go in and hold him for few minutes and then he'll fall back asleep. Will CIO work with this if we tried it long enough? Nothing has changed in his sleep routine, no major changes day to day besides this.

So, I've been having a hit of problems these last months with my 7 yo pc. They can be summarized with what it's been happening these last two weeks. Basically because of these problems I formatted the pc about two weeks ago with a fresh install wiping clean all partitions and then installed the drivers, Steam and Firefox and nothing else. After a couple of days I had the notice on the lower right corner telling me to activate windows (I'm using W10), even though I've already inserted the key during installation, and even in the activation settings the key was there, but it wasn't saying anything about the activation status. Then I had Firefox bluescreening my pc everytime I closed it. I thoughy my HDD was corrupted or nearly broken, so I used chkdskwith the fix switches and repaired it. The notice went away, but now it sometimes reappears for a couple of minutes, then goes away, and so on. Now my pc also sometimes freezes and has the screen go black for like a second, especially when closing applications, and Firefox keeps having the tabs crashing, and Firefox itself crashes when closing it. It also bluescreens again randomly and it's been logging me out of Steam all by itself. I downloaded HDD health check softwares and used the built it powershell command to check it and they all say it's in great condition, so I don't really know where the problem is, but I suspect it can't be the software at this point...

Okay, so from what I remember, I was in a council estate where I was walking. My two dogs im not lucid yet but I then am near an abandoned play park as i was being shown the top 10 worst in my town and this was just a rusted metal mesh made of barbed wire, I turn the corner to walk down a big hill with a tunnel at the bottom with both my dogs, it then starts turning to night and the sky gets darker, I then appear in my living room of a version of my house in which a man wearing a hooded jacket is attacking one of my dogs so I push back and attack him but sadly don't see his face I then vow vengence.then I settle down with a bunch of beers like 15 cans to binge watch TV getting hammered. Then I messaged the person who attacked my dog on reddit who responded they knew where I was and was going to kill me. I at this point was still not lucid, then I walked to my garden and my sister was lying on a trampoline choked to death on a bottle she tried to eat for some reason, so I had to heimlixh her to revive her, then I went to my bedroom where I quickly became lucid by checking my fingers, as I was leaving the house I made sure to continuously stabilise myself and ground myself in my surroundings by feeling the walls and hearing sounds and smelling and tasting everything to truly ground myselfwhilst lucid I decided to go to try and find the person who was messaging me on reddit as i knew his location so I walked a couple streets away to a slight hill and his was the house on the corner, however then some woman with dark hair went walking past and said why aren't you at your sons fins house (I have no son in real life) in my dream I knew exactly where to go, I went there which was a few houses up the row when I got there the first time I lost lucidity, and woke up however I was still stood there after fake waking up so I did a reality check and it almost failed as the first time checking my fingers there were 5 each and trying to blow through a blocked nose didn't work, however when I tried again I counted 7 fingers on each hand so I knew I was still dreaming, I continued by walking up the house driveway and opening the door. I saw marble floors and an open plan living space with an attractive woman who in my dream was my wife and a young child sat on a chair at a table just infront of the door, my wife said to help the kid with his homework so I sat down and started doing his homework. Then I woke for real.

So, I had been in a relationship myself for the past couple of years. Me and him met over half a year ago when he opened his shop at the end of my street while I was still in a relationship. 2 days ago we were drinking coffee in my backyard when he suddenly started crying. I asked him what was wrong and he confessed to me that his parents arranged him a marriage to his far cousin. Whenever they talked about it in home he would say I have to go, and ran out of the house. He doesn't love the girl and says that if his father was still alive he would just have to tell him this and his father would understand. His mom, not so much. She's been grieving his fathers death in a unhealthy way and the only thing she looks forward to now is the wedding of him and his far cousin.
I was shocked as this is not that common here anymore. He kept on crying and I just comforted him the best way I could. He confessed he was in love with me from the first day he saw me walk into the shop but never said anything as I was in a relationship.
He wants to come clean to his family but is scared his mom is not going to forgive him as his mom has already been calling and planning with the mom of the girl.
What do I do? Do I stay around waiting or do I distance myself to protect myself? I never met someone as compassionate as him and im scared he is going to go for the hapiness of his mom instead of his own. I also think his mom wants to keep the wealth in the family and thats why she thought this might be a good idea.
