However, as you can see, the info suggests that if a sufficient amt. of tyramine is consumed when on ayahuasca, the ayahuasca will actually be kicked out of your body.
*MAOIs that permanently bond with the body's enzymes, but the effect is not truly permanent, as the body replaces its enzymes every two weeks or something. This is why some medications require a 2-week wait period before switching to a different medication.

And that high tyramine levels can cause high BP and discomfort. And in some cases be dangerous.
I even stated it isn’t dangerous with Ayahuasca, but that it can definitely cause discomfort in many. Including me.
So yes, I still do recommend to avoid high tyramine food 2-3 days before ayahuasca to avoid unnecessary headaches day after.

Nothing in your articles or quotes contradict the well known scientific fact that MAO enzymes are responsible for breaking down tyramine.Now you're just making things up, because I never said that anything said that. The first quote states that if one ingests tyramine when on moclobemide, the moclobemide is kicked out of the body, thus even when one is on moclobemide, the enzymes are still available to do their job. After that it states that one does not need to avoid tyramine on moclobemide because, indeed, moclobemide will not stop MAO from doing its job. So, there's no reason to avoid high tyramine foods, and one especially does not need to avoid them for 2-3 days in any case, that's just you imagining stuff...

On a boiler with 24 engines, each engine only generates 12288su, because 294912/24 = 12288 < 16384, generating a total output of 12288×24 = 294912su. Because 294912/18 = 16384, that is the maximum number of engines such that each engine is running at full capacity. Things get a bit trickier when the number of engines doesn't easily divide 294912. Im planning long-term arc here but the character will eventually get a chance to go Burnout Way and reconcile with some of their magical past, or keep full chrome.
What should i be watching out for? The idea is for the character to be super low essence at char gen, piling up almost useless cyberware if only to cripple that Magic Rating (wired reflexes, full cyberlimbs, etc.). But that leaves me with a few questions.
1)--should the character still buy high magic rating to start even tho they will essentially "lose" those stats, or just keep low as any investment would be a waste.
2)can the character go to less than 1 essence without becoming permanently mundane? Or is 1 the threshold to never go below?
3)if they choose the path of magical reconciliation and want to level up their magic, how much karma does it cost to increase magic? For example, if they started with 2 magic with a potential of 6, but then loses 4 pts to essence loss, (their magic basically becoming 0 out of 2 max) and then want to gain a magic point. Do they basically spend 5 karma (going from zero to 1) or they should spend 30, as if they were counting from their original, unmodified stat of 2 to 3?
4)Way i see it, the "ideal" build would be to purchase a Magic Rating using D priority, invest nothing in it. Ignore magic altogether and make sure they dont go below 1 essence, so they have a (theoritical) magic rating maximum of at least 1, (with a practical rating of 0). And someday either purchase Magic 1 or start initiating. Am i correct?
Any suggestions or considerations i might have overlooked here are welcome.

I (28F) think I am a bit of an asshole due to HOW I bring the topic up, but I think my boyfriend (30M) is the asshole for being blind about what needs to be done/WATCHING me do housework and not considering how he could contribute. I’ll let Reddit decide for now and hopefully give me some advice.
For background, I and my partner work full-time and live together. I am a high school teacher and he works as a manager in a warehouse/production capacity. I don’t want to say more, in case it can identify me/us, but we typically make a similar amount of money as a base-line, but he gets his vehicle, phone, health, etc. paid for by work and generally makes a $50,000 bonus on top of that if work is going well that year. He owns his own home but won’t let me contribute to the mortgage, “just in case” things go south as it would, legally in my country, give me rights to his home. Fair enough - instead, I contribute to bills, pay for all the food and household items, all subscription services, etc.
It should be said that I am currently in a position where I work most nights when I get home and spend about 10-20 hours, most weekends, marking. It’s shit. This is my fifth year teaching and I’m beginning to look for ‘outs’. Regardless, I’m not enjoying my job and I spend a lot, if not all, of my free-time working.
My partner was in a similar position for about a year and a half (1-2 years ago), as his company was not doing well, and he was working on weekends and nights, on top of his daily hours. It was utter shit for him. I figured to help him and make his life easier, I would always clean the house, have dinner on the table by the time he got home, fed the dogs, do his washing /do anything in my power to make his life easier. He has come out of this working environment this year, and often gets home earlier than me (he does begin earlier than me, however). I have discovered that, now that my working life has become increasingly more difficult and time-consuming, the same level of reciprocation has not occurred. Perhaps it is because I do a lot of my 'extra' work at home, whereas he had to go into work to do his.
Regardless, I am still the one who comes home, unpacks the dishwasher, tidies the house, cooks dinner, cleans up afterwards, feeds the dogs, and then continues to work until 11:30-12 at night, whilst he falls asleep by 9:30-10. After 5 months of this, I am royally pissed off. My work schedule has increased, his has decreased, yet my domestic duties have not changed in the slightest. He gets home and, generally, apart from a work call every now and then, gets to relax until he falls asleep. I rarely get this luxury yet get told by him that I am "burnt out" and "stressed" from work, as though domestic duties don't contribute to this. I lived as a single woman/by myself before moving in with him and it seems like the time I spend cooking and cleaning has almost doubled.
FOR INSTANCE: We order a food/cooking delivery service, where they deliver the ingredients, the recipes, and it takes literally 15-30 minutes to cook and serve the dishes. On the rare occasion (like when I’m doing school reports) that I simply don’t have the time in the evening to cook, I’ll ask him to do it. He says yes, puts it off until it’s late, and then orders unhealthy take-away “because I didn’t know what to do/didn’t know what you wanted to eat”. The recipes are on a magnet on the fridge and are simple enough for a 12-year-old to follow. I have called him out on ‘weaponised incompetence’ already and he’s accepted this but hasn’t had changed his actions.
When I do call him out or ask for his help I’ll come home to an unpacked dishwasher and a clean kitchen. I’ll cook and he’ll take our plates and clean up the kitchen… for a day or two. It goes back to 'normal' after this. It’s clear he knows what/how to do the jobs required to maintain a household, but won’t do them consistently. Like, when I didn't take the bins out for a few days I found maggots in them. I expressed a similar issue with my past boyfriend when I started dating my current boyfriend a few years ago and he said, "what a child, how disgusting" - yet here I am again.
I have brought it up, not going to lie, it hasn’t gone well in the past so now it’s usually after a night out and we’re both a bit tipsy and end up fighting. He claims that he does a lot around the house (like set up shelves once a year, or look at my car every 6 months, and change my tyres when they go flat - things that I know are labour intensive, but as I have said to him, don't contribute to the day-to-day running of a household). I have gone out and bought him flowers, apologised, etc. the last two occasions, even though I think my reasoning is right despite approaching it in a bitchy manner, yet nothing changes and I continue to live in a shithole that I seem to clean up every day, yet he will trash it by kicking his shoes off wherever he feels like it, never taking his empty cans to the trash, pulling out all his tools and equipment to maintain his car (he does this every weekend), yet never put it away. I’m sick of cleaning up after him – I’ve tried being subtle and kind, I have tried the passive-aggressive bitch route, so I am here, finally, for some adult advice. Perhaps for a bit of a vent too, now that I’m reading back what I wrote.
He’s made such a fuss about being desperate for children – although I could live without them, but can see myself really loving motherhood after infancy, I don’t want to be a mother to my boyfriend as well, and I’d utterly resent him if I had to maintain my current job and domestic duties ON TOP OF those that come with having a child. We need some change or a way forward that we can both agree on, or else I really don't see us having children for my own sanity and longevity. HELP!!

I quickly noticed that there was what seems to be an Asian retailer (df64coffee.com) that has this unit in stock for immediate shipping, although costing around 75 euro more than the pre-order version, so I thought they must be putting their money forward to build up their stock and pass this cost to their customer, making more per each "instock" unit they sell, in principle this seemed like a fair deal and I didn't mind paying 25% markup to get the "instock" unit. I gave up on getting a Niche Zero and decided to go with DF64 based on this.
I found out a coupon code from here for 10% off (ASAF10OFF) and that they had a fast expedited shipping option with 1-3 day delivery and given that I got this 10% off I decided to go with this option instead of a white version from an European retailer, because 1-3 day shipping is still acceptable to me, even though it cost me 56 euro to get the fast delivery. Thus order #9753 was placed for my DF64 and I've been patiently waiting since. But it's now been over 48 hours since I placed my order and I haven't heard from DF64coffee still, I'm afraid they won't fulfill on their 1-3 day delivery that I paid extra for.
Has anyone else experienced issues with DF64coffee.com with their "instock" units and expedited shipping? It is my understanding that no matter how I look at it I should be getting my coffee grinder either by tomorrow, or at most by Tuesday if they're only counting working days.
Do they usually fulfill their obligation or is this a scam website? They haven't answered my email either, although they claim it might take up to 3 days. Hello! I have a little more than a week left of my first year in highschool, and I absolutely failed my freshmen year. I’ve been having straight A’s all throughout middle school and elementary, getting into advanced programs. With the same mindset, I’m in all the capstones and advancement programs in my current highschool as well. This backfired on me, as I didn’t recognize the hardships of highschool. Being dumbfounded, I signed up for the hardest classes, without recognizing that I would get so burnt out. I can’t seem to focus or just try hard enough as my grades are plummeting. I was struck with reality, ending up with a 2.6 GPA overall. What will I do now? I understand that freshmen year is just the beginning, but that’s what scares me even more. Unrealistically speaking, if I were to get 4.0 GPAs my next three years, it would lead me with a 3.6 GPA. I cannot get into my state university with that GPA. I do not have ECs, except being the Secretary of my school. It scares me as my friends who were once the same level as me, do so much better than me now. I’m definitely happy for them, I just wonder why I cannot do the same. I do not want to look like I’m looking for attention, that is truly not my intention. But I genuinely do not have any talents or sports that can make me stand out to colleges. I do not want to disappoint my family or my middle school dreams. If anyone has similar experiences to me, I’d truly appreciate any inputs or suggestions! Feel free to get really realistic with me, I probably need that too. So I've been unemployed for a year now and actively looking for jobs, I have probably sent off my resume to who knows how many places at this point, and somehow it apparently landed on the desk of some agency. FYI I graduated 2 years ago and have around 1.5 year of actual experience and some shadowing/co-op experience until I got laid of last year because of "restructuring".
Person from agency calls me out of the blue and asks about my experiences for a "Entry-level", "Junior Role" they are working on. Sounds great! They start asking the same questions that are answered on my resume and how long I've been at the places I've worked at, even though they can see the month and the year on my resume. I oblige them and then they push for a salary range, they are insistent on a number so I tell them what my last role gave me. (I didn't want to push too hard because I know how the job market is right now).
They get rude and tell me that it was way to high and doesn't meet their standards especially for someone of my "experiences", stating "your experiences show that maybe you are a bit too "Junior" for this role". Keep in mind they started off by saying that this was an "entry-level" role but then switched the script to say that they want folks to have minimum 3-5 years of experience.
I don't understand how these people can cold call you and then have the audacity to act like this. I get not all roles are designed to be competitive but holy hell some of these recruiting agencies are coping hard. How can they treat people like this and get away with this?

Some notes before I go into explaining what the campaign will be about:
* This is a queer only campaign for a simple reason, it's gonna have heavy queer themes that are mostly going to connect with queer folk! And coincidentally, all the already invited players and DMs ended up being trans, so we just feel it's fitting.
* Newbie players are more than welcome, though we do need someone who knows and is passionate about Steven Universe. If you join a game as a newbie for a game full of lore you don't like or understand, it's not gonna be enjoyable for you!
THE CAMPAIGN
The campaign is going to be a re telling / re skin version of the Call of the Netherdeep campaign. I will of course ask you to have not played nor dmed this campaign, and to not look anything up about it. It's more fun if you don't know what you're going to encounter! And I heavily improvise and homebrew a lot of stuff, so it won't even match up with it most of the time
So, what's it about?
Call for the Many is a setting based on the unexplored and alien world of Steven Universe. It takes place before the told story and we'll not be adding any of its main characters other than the necessary (Diamonds are a must, and some videogame cameos may occur)
Some of the canon aspects will be ignored or changed to fit a narrative that fits DnD 5e and allows more customization for the players.
The campaign starts in the planet of Ananke, in the Emerald Meadows. A festival is being celebrated by none other than Pink Diamond herself. Small groups of gems will be able to participate in the name of their diamond to earn points, and by the end of the festival, they'll encounter something, or rather someone, that will change the course of their actions for the rest of their adventures.
It is a 1-12 lvl campaign with aspects of war and dictatorship and its consequences, corruption and redemption, mental health depictions, underwater exploration and body horror.
It's still a dnd game, and it's still a Steven universe inspired game, so it'll have it's fair share of silly stuff of course!
*Also, please take note that anything I say here is not canon and may change when session 0 happens depending on the players triggers and preferences!
What will I be able to play?

We've separated gems into caste categories that you'll choose according to the type of gem you want to play. You may choose an existing gem, or make a new one that's not seen in the canon before.
We're also allowing pebbles, as well as humans and permafusions.

Classes will stay the same, it's still dnd 5e after all! All official classes and subclasses are permitted, as well as any expansion book other than Unearthed Arcana (UA)
What homebrew rules will you be using?
Not many, honestly! I'm not a dm who follows the rules strictly as stated, but one of the things I love most about dnd is powerscaling stuff, making it a challenge for my players, and that cannot happen without a strict set of rules.
However, I do have a couple changes; some personal, some relevant to the campaign
I can't tell you exactly when it'll start, but I can estimate that I'll have it semi prepared in a month or so, but I prefer doing session 0 and characters beforehand so I can tie the campaign around you and not the other way around!
We'll play either Fridays or Saturdays from 6 pm to 9/10 pm CEST.
We'll have a couple or sessions to level up your characters from 1 to 3 before the main story, but this will also be a good time to test if we're truly a match. You don't like how I dm, or a ruling Im strict about? You're not into the story? You suddenly realize youre not free anymore? It's okay! We'll be sad to let you go, but we all understand, and I wouldn't want to jump directly into a campaign without knowing if we're comfortable with eachother.
I'd love to have 4 sessions a month, but I cannot promise that since I have a job, and I do need to eat. The minimum will be 2 a month! Hopefully more!

* This is a queer only campaign for a simple reason, it's gonna have heavy queer themes that are mostly going to connect with queer folk! And coincidentally, all the already invited players and DMs ended up being trans, so we just feel it's fitting.
* Newbie players are more than welcome, though we do need someone who knows and is passionate about Steven Universe. If you join a game as a newbie for a game full of lore you don't like or understand, it's not gonna be enjoyable for you!
THE CAMPAIGN
The campaign is going to be a re telling / re skin version of the Call of the Netherdeep campaign. I will of course ask you to have not played nor dmed this campaign, and to not look anything up about it. It's more fun if you don't know what you're going to encounter! And I heavily improvise and homebrew a lot of stuff, so it won't even match up with it most of the time
So, what's it about?
Call for the Many is a setting based on the unexplored and alien world of Steven Universe. It takes place before the told story and we'll not be adding any of its main characters other than the necessary (Diamonds are a must, and some videogame cameos may occur)
Some of the canon aspects will be ignored or changed to fit a narrative that fits DnD 5e and allows more customization for the players.
The campaign starts in the planet of Ananke, in the Emerald Meadows. A festival is being celebrated by none other than Pink Diamond herself. Small groups of gems will be able to participate in the name of their diamond to earn points, and by the end of the festival, they'll encounter something, or rather someone, that will change the course of their actions for the rest of their adventures.
It is a 1-12 lvl campaign with aspects of war and dictatorship and its consequences, corruption and redemption, mental health depictions, underwater exploration and body horror.
It's still a dnd game, and it's still a Steven universe inspired game, so it'll have it's fair share of silly stuff of course!
*Also, please take note that anything I say here is not canon and may change when session 0 happens depending on the players triggers and preferences!
What will I be able to play?
Any gem, really!
We've separated gems into caste categories that you'll choose according to the type of gem you want to play. You may choose an existing gem, or make a new one that's not seen in the canon before.
We're also allowing pebbles, as well as humans and permafusions.

Classes will stay the same, it's still dnd 5e after all! All official classes and subclasses are permitted, as well as any expansion book other than Unearthed Arcana (UA)
What homebrew rules will you be using?
Not many, honestly! I'm not a dm who follows the rules strictly as stated, but one of the things I love most about dnd is powerscaling stuff, making it a challenge for my players, and that cannot happen without a strict set of rules.
However, I do have a couple changes; some personal, some relevant to the campaign
- Healing potions as a bonus action. Pretty common rule, most people use it.
- Inspiration points can be used to re roll any of your OR your companions checks, if both parties agree
- All backgrounds will be custom made, but we'll make em with you, so don't worry!
- Exhaustion. Not exactly a rule change, just a clarification. This campaign uses the exhaustion mechanic, and we will be using the dnd 5e rule. Sorry y'all, I know it sucks!
- The help action for skill checks require proficiency in said skill. If you don't have it, don't worry! You can still help! You'll need to roll said check, and if it's a 10 or up, they get advantage.
- Death saves are private. I just feel it makes them scarier!
- You tell me what you want to do, I'll tell you what to roll! Just makes it a bit easier for me to know what you're looking for.
- You're free to play any weird combo you wanna play, just know it'll raise their cr as well as yours. This doesn't mean I'm okay with players actively trying to break the game, I'm just okay with people enjoying min maxing as long as it doesn't cause a problem with any of the other players. If it causes them to get bored because you're doing all the killing, well need to change something! Everyone wants to play
I can't tell you exactly when it'll start, but I can estimate that I'll have it semi prepared in a month or so, but I prefer doing session 0 and characters beforehand so I can tie the campaign around you and not the other way around!
We'll play either Fridays or Saturdays from 6 pm to 9/10 pm CEST.
We'll have a couple or sessions to level up your characters from 1 to 3 before the main story, but this will also be a good time to test if we're truly a match. You don't like how I dm, or a ruling Im strict about? You're not into the story? You suddenly realize youre not free anymore? It's okay! We'll be sad to let you go, but we all understand, and I wouldn't want to jump directly into a campaign without knowing if we're comfortable with eachother.
I'd love to have 4 sessions a month, but I cannot promise that since I have a job, and I do need to eat. The minimum will be 2 a month! Hopefully more!
What do I need to do to apply?

* Know about SU lore, and be interested in it

anyway, i woke up this morning with very mild cramping and i initially thought it was period cramps but i’m not due on.
i went to the bathroom and it was quite loose🫠 i don’t think it was diarrhea as it wasn’t pure liquid but it was like soft lumps that float (so sorry for how tmi this is) and it came out kinda fast. i’ve had 2 episodes of this. it’s not an urgent feeling, like i can hold it quite easily but idk
i’m low level nauseous but it could very well just be hunger as i last ate something 6 hours ago. i’m also SUPER gassy. like i’m 💨 a lot 😭
my diet isn’t great and i don’t eat a lot, had a curry last night but surely that wouldn’t have taken 12 hours to hit?
does this sound like the start of something? i have no idea if these things start gradually or if i’d be hit with immediate full on diarrhea. i’m scared haha. help

I went to an army school (12 weeks long) i told my employer i had to leave, i gave them a 60 day notice that i was leaving for school, and gave them a copy of my orders when i got them. They seemed okay with it. I went to school and on week 7 i went to sick hall because i wasnt feeling good and felt sick for the last couple of weeks. I had strep throat, a sinus infection, fever of 103, and COVID. I was admin dropped from my course due to illness and sent home early. I called my boss the day i found out and let him know what happened and requested i start work in two weeks (i needed time to quarantine, drive across the country, unpack, and not feel sick anymore). He was really weird about it all on the phone requested my army medical files claiming that HR would need them. I told him he can get my DD220 and my amended orders when i had them and thats all HR should need. He asked if i had to re do the school, i told him ya and he told me “i dont know how this is going to work if youre just gonna leave again.” I told him it wasnt my choice these were military orders and i didnt think he could do that. He asked if i still had to drill, and i told him ya. He asked when my next drill was, i informed him it would be the 13/14 of june which happened to fall on weekdays which is rare for my unit, he wasnt happy and expressed his frustration is with the national guard not me and he was mad that id miss work again….. I went to work and they handed me a 12 week severance package and told me they know that my priority is the army and maintaining my TS clearance and that its great i want to serve but they were also downsizing and i was being let go because of the downsizing not because of my military obligations. I was mad i filed a claim with USERRA. The USERRA investigator called me the next day and let me know that they just get your job back and recover lost wages but since i had a severance package there is no lost wages. I decided to close the investigation and look for a new job.

hey all! i just joined this group and i’m 100% open to all knowledge and answers. i’ve had a possible ap experience and i would like to share the experience and get some feedback.
i’ve never ap’d before but i’ve known about it for some time and i consider myself very spiritual. here is the experience i had today: i had a nap on the couch shortly after 5pm, it was roughly a 2 hour nap in total. at one point i woke up and debated staying awake but i laid there awake with my eyes closed, you know the eyes closed but awake “nap”. i was in such a calm and comfortable state and i know with trying to ap, its good to get comfortable and be in the right headspace (my knowledge about ap is very slim so please feel free to tell me if im wrong) all of a sudden my body feels like a slight but heavy vibration, and my upper body and head feel like a light, feathery sensation that sent shivers all over. i then felt like i was slowly floating out of my body, that too felt like a slow but heavy vibration. the atmosphere around my living room was a kind of vaporwave-esque pink/purple filter or some kind of fog i guess. i’m not standing but i think it was my energy that was looking around and taking in the environment briefly. i turn and i’m overtop of my body on the couch, looking at myself, the atmosphere hasn’t changed, and im looking at myself sleeping but my eyes are open at looking at me. then it’s over, i’m awake and still in a calm state but confused. why i was and am still confused is because i’m unsure if it was just a dream. i don’t believe if it was a dream because i don’t see bright colours in my dreams, they’re always very, very light colours. i’m making this post in search of information and advice to figure out what i experienced today. thanks in advance all!
