Avera antivirus

For some reason, my tf2 now happens to have no music or voicelines. I boot up the game, no music. I play the game, no voicelines on my end.
I tried unistalling and reinstalling the game, verified the games files via steam.
The console says lines upon lines something along the lines of 'mp3 failed to play'.
Before anyone says a certain Avera Antivirus has quarantined it, I don't use that...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
