What happens when you exceed 999 calories
I am genuinely curious. I am getting closer to 999 calories on my hour runs. Does it stay at 999, does it reset to 0, does it go to 1000, or does it just glitch out?

2024.05.29 01:14 ScruffySasquatch Weak on hills + ping when lightly pushing pedal (2005 2.4L RAV-4 110k)

Hey there, been trying to diagnose a mild issue with my vehicle prior to doing a ~2k road trip in a few months.
My car has ran pretty well and has no check engine lights on it or anything, but it has a bit of a ping-y rattle when I accelerate / go up hills. This issue has been persistent since I got the vehicle ~2 years ago but only seems to present when I’m not pushing the pedal down too hard (if I’m “cruising” up a hill it pings but if I’m accelerating up a hill and pushing the engine it does not). Weirdly enough, when I read the owners manual from Toyota, it says to expect ping under load.
Additionally, when I’ve done hilliemountain drives in the past, I’ve noticed that I need to push pretty hard on the gas pedal compared to other vehicles I’ve driven and it has a hard time hitting the 55-65 mph speed limits of these areas.
I’ve swapped spark plugs, had oil changes, and a tranny drain/fill pretty recently but I was thinking about pulling the knock sensor and testing it. Am I pursuing the right route or should I check off any other boxes first?

2024.05.29 00:55 Saiyaman_09 86 octane gas

Before you say it, yeah I know I’m dumb af lol. So I accidentally filled up my 2020 STI with 86 octane gas (91 is the highest in my area). It wasn’t until I saw the total that I realized I messed up. So how bad is it ? Should I be concerned ? I drove the car about 20miles home after that and it seemed fined, nothing out of the ordinary. I read the owners manual and it doesn’t say anything about 86 octane. It just mention that they use 93 or 91 if not available. I’m just worried that this might void my warranty (if the dealerships finds out of course).

2024.05.29 00:54 one-eye-deer I used oven cleaner on my Lumin

Kicking myself right now. Of course, I reviewed the owner's manual again AFTER I had soaked the lid and cooking liner in oven cleaner and marveled at how all of the burned on gunk was coming right off! The liners are now discolored from being stripped by the oven cleaner.
I submitted a request through the Weber customer service to get replacement parts, but it'll probably be 1-2 business days until I hear back. Has anyone had to replace the lid liner or cooking liner in their grill? How much was it? Also, should I avoid using it now that it's been stripped, or will it be okay to use after I air it out?
I've already wiped it down completely with water and a little dish soap to get all the oven cleaner off.

Help I can’t figure out where to get these metal vacuum(?) lines
86 SE v6
been googling and I can’t for the life of me figure out what to call these lines. They are rotted and look like the culprit for my vacuum leak. they look like vacuum lines that go to the vapor canister but I’m not exactly sure what they do. If anyone knows where to find new ones or even what they are called I would appreciate the help.

2024.05.29 00:15 NoInternet900 2009 scion xb

Im looking to buy a 2009 scion xb, already drove it, rides well, interior and exterior are well preserved, cold ac, paint is top notch, know the owner, they take great care of their cars, we ran a CARFAX, everything seems to be good, no accidents, 2 owners total. Its a 5 speed manual, I’m very interested but, it does a grinding sound when shifting rapidly from 2nd to 3rd, only does it from 2nd to 3rd and it doesn’t do it every time that you shift quickly, its like a 2 seconds grind noise, the owner drove it with me in the highway to show me the grind noise, they did quick gear shifting from 2nd to 3rd like 5 times and it only happened once.
My question and thanks in advance to anyone that takes a minute to answer; is it a problem that will inevitably progress with time and will have to be fixed? If so, I read that it can be the synchros, how expensive can that repair be?, or is it a problem than can be minimize and avoided by just shifting normally?

2024.05.28 23:59 ICreated_thisAccount Nearly all of my submitted (real) characters are deleted from the database

I'm pretty annoyed by this. I had submitted a handful of characters to Akinator, some examples here are Simon Heath (a well known dark ambient musician and label owner of Cryo Chamber, currently the biggest dark ambient record label) and the Durandoo and Sporg enimies from Hollow Knight, among others.
I find this incredibly annoying and I have no idea why. Maybe because I've (falsely) had characters flagged as not real in the past they decided I was "untrustworthy"? It's unlikely, but otherwise I got no clue.
non-characters like keyboard spam, slurs, and gibberish remain in their database as well, so Im wondering if it was even manual, or if I somehow got flagged for submitting a non-character. Not all of my submitted characters are gone it seems, but nearly all of them are.
I hardly see the point submitting characters if it's likely not to go through for... Reasons. Anyone else have this problem?

2024.05.28 23:25 pikabruce Neutral Rpm limiter

I have a ‘23 T manual transmission. Since after my first oil change, I have been able to rev past 5500 in neutral. I only did it twice (once by mistake), second to double check. Before the first oil change, I remember I once hit the limiter at 2500 in neutral. I know it’s not healthy for the engine to hit high rpms in neutral, so wanted to check if other manual owners here noticed a neutral rpm limiter. I contacted the dealership service to see if they did this but they asked me to leave the car for 3-5 days, which I cannot. They said they just did the oil change. Any advice is appreciated! I haven’t noticed any issues or unusual noises yet due to high neutral revving.

2024.05.28 23:08 CapSuspicious1018 Do Pool Robot Cleaners Really Work?

Do Pool Robot Cleaners Really Work?
I've seen a lot of questions about pool robot cleaners lately, so I thought I'd share my experience since I own several of them.
In fact, I have several videos on YouTube where I've reviewed them.
When I first heard about pool robot cleaners, I was pretty skeptical. I mean, could a little machine really handle all the cleaning tasks that come with maintaining a pool? But after doing some research and eventually taking the plunge (pun intended), I can confidently say that these gadgets are a game-changer.
Maintaining a pool can be a lot of work. From skimming leaves off the surface to scrubbing the walls and floors, it often felt like I spent more time cleaning the pool than actually enjoying it. That's when I decided to try out a pool robot cleaner, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I've made as a pool owner.
Let me tell you why these little machines are worth every penny:
Effortless Cleaning: These little guys do all the hard work for you. I just drop one in the pool, and it scrubs the walls, floors, and even the waterline. It's like having a personal pool butler!
Saves Time: I can’t emphasize enough how much time these robots save me. Instead of spending hours cleaning the pool myself, I can relax and let the robot handle it. More time for swimming and chilling by the pool!
Great for All Debris: From leaves to fine dirt and sand, these robots pick up everything. Some models even have smart navigation, so they don’t miss any spots. Last week, I even had a huge crawdad in my robot pool cleaner basket 😅
Enhulk Pool Vacuum
Easy Maintenance: Maintaining these cleaners is pretty simple. Just empty the filter bag or cartridge after each use, and give it a quick rinse. That’s it! No complicated parts or frequent repairs.
Energy Efficient: Surprisingly, they don’t use much energy. They’re designed to be efficient, so you won’t see a huge spike in your electricity bill.
Long-Term Investment: Sure, they can be a bit pricey upfront, but think of it as an investment. Over time, they can save you money on professional cleaning services or the cost of water and chemicals from manual cleaning.
Durability: These cleaners are built to last. I’ve had mine for a few years now, and they’re still going strong. Just make sure to store them properly when not in use and keep the basket cleaned out after each use.

If you’re on the fence about getting a pool robot cleaner, I’d say go for it. They make pool maintenance so much easier and give you more time to enjoy your pool.
Do you own a pool robot vacuum? How do they work for you?

2024.05.28 23:02 No-Employment5652 OEM Tyres?

Does anyone know what tyres the CT200h 2011 model would have come with from factory?
Looking at getting Yokohama BluEarth GT AE51 215/45R17 87W
They appear to be best for low noise, which is my main concern along with fuel economy
Previous owner put cheap Chinese Landsail tyres on with a higher load rating of 91W which would cause excessive road noise? but the manual calls for a 87W
Yokohama ones I’m looking at are about £130 each fully fitted
Does anyone have any suggestions?

2024.05.28 22:54 sashanixxie Fair price for 2009 Kia Rio?

Hello y’all,
So this 2009 manual Kia Rio is listed on marketplace for $5,300. It only has 45,000 miles on it because it used to belong to their grandad who’s now in the nursing home. Supposedly It’s sat in a barn for a few years aside from the occasional drive from family members.
I went and test drove it yesterday, I really like it. No rust, low miles, one owner. My only qualm is that the clutch feels quite stiff/spongy. Now admittedly I am only 21 so I don’t have a ton of experience with different cars. However my last car was also a 2009 manual Kia Rio (a lot more miles + rust) and the clutch felt very similar to this one before it needed to be replaced. Once replaced it basically felt like butter, I barely had to use any force at all.
I offered $3700 for it because of my suspicion about the clutch. That’s no cheap fix, it was like $900 for me last time. Seller said he got it checked out by a mechanic before listing and they told him everything was good. I don’t doubt that was true but I’m fairly certain a clutch only lasts 40-70k miles on average, right? Plus if you think about random family members driving it, they probably weren’t nice on it so that’s going to burn it up faster.
He seems to think I’m just not familiar with manual driving and gave me pointers after I expressed my concerns. I drove my manual rio for almost 3 years daily, and put 40k miles on it. Maybe it’s egotistical, but I really don’t think this is a me problem. I know how to drive stick, I even had to work around a few gears because my transmission was going bad lol. Although my car never sat for longer than a few days at a time. Is it possible for a clutch to become stiff if it’s not used frequently?
Idk am I being an ass? I do really like the car but anything over 4k seems like a lot especially considering the clutch will probably go out within 10-20k miles.

Purple Onion Lakeview is Charging 11.5% Tax
I visited Purple Onion Lakeview in July of last year and noticed their computer system was charging 11.5% tax instead of 10%. Considered that it could have been a simple mistake. I told the owner and he said "thank you for telling me". Recently went again and they are still doing it. Surely this is illegal right? They are most definitely only turning over 10% to the county and keeping the remaining 1.5%, right? Also, it isn't a mistake either. You have to manually program your POS system as to what tax to charge (taxes vary state to state and even item to item in other states). So what gives? Also, this is NOT a credit card convenience fee. It is charged on every item, cash or CC.
Can any actual lawyers verify if this is actionable in any way? I don't need my $ .23 but wrong is wrong and untold thousands of customers are being cheated each year.

2024.05.28 21:07 Buggy-ZH Transmission fluid change DIY

I started to do some work on my car to save some money. Next step is to do a transmission fluid change and an oil change. It's a 2018 Honda Fit/Jazz
Transmission fluid is overdue because my old mechanic claimed automatics do not have transmission fluid... However now that I now better I looked into how to do it. However the owner's manual warns from doing it yourself.
As far as I learned it's not that much different from an oil change.
If I'm correct I would just need to undo the two bolts on the transmission pan to drain the fluid.
Am I correct in assuming that I could use the upper hole as a filling hole and could just put in transmission fluid with a big syringe until it overflows and then bolt everything back together?
The filling hole in the engine bay is quite hard to get to and I want to avoid disconnecting the cooling hose in order to remove the airbox to get to the filling hole.
Or would you advise to have it done at a Honda dealer?
Thank you very much for any help!

2024.05.28 21:05 Scottydew93 Finally got a par!!!

Finally got a par!!!
I got addicted to golf late in the fall last year and was never able to make it to the course to do 9 or 18. With it finally being perfect golf weather I’ve been able to go out a handful of times and I’ve loved it more each time. Today I was out with my brother doing 18 and I was playing like absolute garbage, but something magical happened and on the 5th hole, it was a par 5. I finally made par and it was the best feeling in the world, I feel like I’m chasing the dragon. Immediately after getting par I went back to playing love garbage, but I love this sport

2024.05.28 20:58 ashoka2019 Help needed - Need to understand this pool filter system

Help needed - Need to understand this pool filter system
Hi, new pool owner and learning.
I need help to understand this pool system. I understand the three Cs of pool - circulation, cleaning and chemistry.
Cleaning - have done brushing and sweeping. I need to do vacuum. I have a manual one with telescopic handle which I will have to figure out how to use.
https://youtu.be/rQNRW_Ka8zo?si=wHw_-n2LB-O6ThYQ
Chemistry- I have tested the water and FC and chlorine is at level. Ph levels are a little off but nothing to worry. I may put in some Low and Slow
Circulation- this is the part I need to figure out. See picture below. I need to do back wash.
I have also read somewhere that if you do vacuum , pool levels with decrease. How do I put the water back in to increase the pool level. A little scared so as not to do damage.

2024.05.28 20:45 Spooky_Sugar Xerox C70 Automated Power Saving Settings?

We got a refurbished C70 in my work, and the way the Power Saving options are set is a headache. It correctly follows the configuration the boss decided on (5/10 min after last job goes into Power Saving/Suspension, respectively), but then, without fail, will wake up from suspension quarter past the hour. Last print job was 12:49? Asleep at 12:59, and then automatically wakes up at 1:15. The Power Save button doesn't even work, it just makes the "no more options/error" chime, and won't enter suspension.
Boss man is hardly in the office, so I've tried looking into the manual and settings, but I can't find any "automatic/timed wake up", and Xerox website isn't much help. Is this something the previous owner programmed? Can it be turned off, and if so, how? I'm losing my marbles here, I work front store retail, I know how to deal with unreasonable clients, not unreasonable printers!
Thanks so much for reading, any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!

Does my barrel allow for adjustable choke tubes? Mossberg 590
Hi all, I cleared the shotgun first so I don’t shoot myself on accident. The owners manual only talks about Accu-Choke and Accu-Mag Chokes on these models. This seems to imply I can change out the choke tube but upon inspection the barrel appears to be fixed choke. Does anybody know if I can change the choke tube between modified, improved, full without needing to buy a new barrel?
Also I went clay shooting prior, fired like 150 rounds so I am cleaning the barrel today

2024.05.28 20:06 zerthimon666 My first Fender Stratocaster ever

My first Fender Stratocaster ever
I bought today my first Fender. After 20 years of playing on different cheap guitars I decided to buy it for a half of price. Of course it isn’t a new one. It has been used about a year for previous owner. This is a model from 2021.
By the way I have a question. I tried to setup a string action. Regarding Fender user manual the space on 17th fret should be about 1,6mm (4/64”) but this is impossible. I set it, but the bass string is buzzing like crazy. I play mainly a metal, like Iron Maiden or so, and so low string action is not possible. Is this even possible so low space without string buzzing? The truss rod and neck are sett up perfect.
