Last year, I received offers from universities in the UK and Australia, including Birmingham, Monash, and UNSW, but I couldn't attend due to some family issues. I am looking forward to study Computer Science or Physics. What are my options right now, please recommend something ?
Please don't Recommend any English speaking countries for my Bachelor's as It'll be a huge investment and it's not completely worth it anymore, please correct me if I am wrong about anything.
USA- getting a green card especially as an Indian is almost impossible Canada- No UK- Recession, Housing crisis, Jallianwala massacre Ireland - Their accent is really.....+ Khabib Fan Australia and New Zealand - High Visa rejection issues from this year especially for Indians
I can always go to these countries for my Masters in future If I have to but I don't want to burden my family with 1 cr for my Bachelor's.
I do know that the job Markets of these countries is not good but I'll not be staying there forever, I am just looking for a good foundation for my Master's degree somewhere else I am thinking about 1- Politechico Di Torino (Italy) 2- IE University( Spain) 3- Malaysian Public Universities (UM, USM, UTM, UPM, UKM)
Singapore is also a good option but it's kinda expensive, so is Hong Kong. South America is a no go, University of Cape Town in South Africa is good too. There's University of Luxembourg too,it's fine.
What do you think about some really old Satellite campuses like the branch campus of a University in a different country. SUNY Korea, University of Utah Incheon, Americann University of Cairo, Beirut.
I am really inclined towards Malaysia right now, I know it's not good as Western countries but it's cheap and a good place to live and I think it's better than India in many aspects and Unless you are studying in some prestigious institution or Institute of National Importance in India the other institutes are not worth it. (I do know you can't have a permanent job in Malaysia after graduation as an International student)
I'll look for a Internship by making connections or try to find something in Singapore.

TLDR: Finally symptom free of decades long battle with hand eczema with a sustainable routine of rotating 2 wks clobetasol CREAM with 2 weeks elidel (pimecrolimus) CREAM after not getting fully clear from clobetasol ointment and protopic ointment. Used hyphoclorus spray and topical probiotics to initially reduce redness. Use Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream for moisturizing after treatment and throughout the day after hand washing.

Long:
I've been on/off steroids and various treatments over the past two decades for severe hand eczema/atopic dermatitis. Broken, itchy, cracked/fissured fingers. It was extremely debilitating.
I've spent the last two years trying to treat this with more intention after being unsuccessful so often in the past. I had little to no results after months of treating with clobetasol ointment so I ended up doing 6 weeks of UV light therapy. Light therapy really did help, but it was extremely expensive and very time consuming so I stopped. The eczema came right back when I stopped (I stopped in summer thinking the nice weathehumidity might keep it at bay for a bit... but, no). During the light therapy time I was continuing to do 2wks on of steroid ointment, 2 weeks off.
The only relief I really ever experienced from the steroid is when I would apply the ointment under a band aid (this is very much not recommended but it would close the fissure though would not help heal the patchiness or itching so the fissures would just come back.
Around this time I tried applying elidel cream that I had leftover from my face (perioral dermatitis) and found it very soothing. I didn't have much left, but my dermatologist told me I could use that during breaks from steroids. Unfortunately my insurance changed and I needed to find a new derm and the elidel cream quickly ran out.
Visit the new dermatologist several months later and my eczema and perioral dermatitis are both back and flaring up (yay me!). I visit a new dermatologist and I tell her my expericene with the elidel. She says protopic (tacrolimus) will be better as it's stronger, but it only comes in an ointment which again she says is better.
I begin religiously doing 2 weeks clobetasol ointment 2x a day then 2 weeks protopic ointment 2x a day. I also switch to Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream per her recommendation which is truly great (in the white tube, I did get a fake one in a blue bottle once from Amazon so be careful).
Still having a lot of symptoms and started learning about treating this as a staph infection here and other places. I bought Hypochlorous acid spray and topical probiotics and started a round of strong oral probiotics. I did see an initial drop in redness and itchiness that was so exciting! Those additions did not help completely clear it up, though at this point it's the best it's every been except for after the light therapy.
"The best it's every been" was still quite a bit of symptoms though with regularly appearing fissures and cracking patchiness, and at my follow up the derm basically said I needed to slather ointment on my hands and then sit around with socks over the ointment to help it absorb.... Um, no thank you! Progress photos are from this time.
I asked about creams and she said ointment was better but if I insist she'd let me try clobetasol cream.
I did 2 weeks on the cream and the results!! So good! I tried the old bandaid trick on a particularly bad part and had to remove it within minutes because it was burning my skin. So, clearly the cream is being absorbed better into my skin as the ointment never once caused discomfort when I applied a ton of it and put a band aid over it.
I called the derm and asked for elidel cream instead of protopic (weaker than protopic, but I'm having such good results on the cream steroid that I wanted to try a cream in those off weeks as well and I want to stay with the recommendation to only use steroids for 2 weeks at a time.
My hands are nearly completely clear! I have no fissures and the most stubborn patches have been mostly resolving.
I wanted to share my experience here as I came to reddit so many times during my journey looking for experiences. I just wanted to share in case this can help someone else!

I've used regular over-the-counter painkillers when it's at its worst, sometimes cold gel. Pain gets worse when I move. No apparent swelling.
Maybe-symptoms: I don't feel hot anymore, pretty much no matter how hot it is, usually not even in a sauna. This has changed, but I can't pinpoint when. Before this summer, though. I also get muscle spasms in my big toes, but that might be nothing.
I've had some blood tests done, most were normal. I'm having a bit trouble translating the results to English, but B-Leukosytes were 4.0, when the normal range for my age is 4.5-13.5 E9/L. E-Erythrocytes, average volume, were only one fl over the reference range, but I'm guessing that is a part of normal variation.
1st Doctor Visit: Doctor didn't seem to believe me at all. Said my pains were caused by me being weak, and the exhaustion is because I "have had to think about things". She still ordered some blood tests, and we're meeting her again tomorrow.
I'd like to know what tests or other things I could suggest her? I'm thinkin of asking for a blood test for my thyroid levels and a Lyme's disease test, which I think could show something if my symptoms, which have been going on for a while now, were caused by Lyme.

is this a sign that the old story is resisting the new? I think this is a good sign, it means I'm on the way to a new story. so yesterday i messed up my first check. this customer was asking me to write the balance in for her, since english was not her first language. i wrote it in and i had a gut feeling i did something wrong, and i called over a manager to verify if i wrote it out correctly. it was a 196.36 order and i wrote it out to be only 106.36 cents. her handwriting was not the best, still this does not excuse it. i’ve been a cashier for 3 months and im genuinely scared i might get demoted.
my manager claimed i wouldn’t, but last week i misplaced money (25 dollars) and left it in a drawer (i was distracted by a customer who was telling me something about their order). so this is where i feel super guilty about everything. they said i would get a talk to from the store front lead, yet i don’t know if ill get demoted from both incidents. i go to work tomorrow and im just worried. i’ve learned my lesson and i understand what ive done wrong, but im just super stressed out about this whole situation. any advice?

Can I be pregnant in any of these scenarios and still be pregnant?
I had painful period so consulted a gynae in September 23.she prescribed norethisterone5mg but that didn't suit me took it till October.gaping in between for withdrawal bleedings.Till October my withdrawal bleeding or periods were exactly like natural periods normal flow with clots Also was involved in sexual activities they were non penetrative it was only fingering, oral sex , dry humping but I was always fearful if little very little amount of semen was present on fingers or not or while dry humping if semen came on clothes of my boyfriend and got into me in September and October but got withdrawal bleeding from pills after that.
From November she prescribed me OvralG for 20-20days and a week pill free gap for withdrawal bleedings.had OvralG from nov to jan. For 20-20 days gaping in between and having withdrawal bleedings.last bleeding was from 6-10feb.in between had various sexual encounter with my partner but no penetrative intercourse ever I am still a virgin it was only fingering, oral sex , dry humping but I was always fearful if little very little amount of semen present on fingers or clothes of my boyfriend while humping on him because he used to be clothed but me not. The withdrawal bleedings after ovral g used to be scanty and less for 5days only filling half of sanitary pads on 1 and 2day so I kept taking various prega news home pregnancy test but never positive . My last cycle of ovral g was from 12jan-31jan before that I got sexually involved on 10 january which was 3rd day of withdrawal bleeding from 2nd cycle of ovral g. After my 3rd cycle I got withdrawal bleeding from 6-10 feb. And on 5 feb my boyfriend just fingered me nothing more happened he didn't touched himself before his fingers didn't had any traces of semen. next day had withdrawal bleeding as mentioned.
After that I discontinued pills. On 11feb I got ultrasound done which diagnosed me with PCOD and empty uterine cavity with 6mm endometrial thickness.

I honestly feel like the AoT fandom has died lately, where are all the fans at? Seriously lol I haven’t heard anyone mention it in forever. But I’m still here! I’d love to do an AoT roleplay with somebody. The story is beautiful, even if it is quite gruesome and sad. There are still aspects that still shine out, one of the main reasons as to why it’ll always hold the place of favorite anime in my heart.
To start things off, a small introduction on my part. You can call me Hina or Hinata and I’m from Japan. I’m currently in the GMT+1 timezone temporarily for vacation but I usually am in the PST timezone. I’m mentioning this because sometimes time zones can matter or change the roleplay/roleplay friendships. I don’t mind what timezone you’re in, honestly, as long as we can talk things out without a longggg pause. I have been writing since I was 9 when I joined a writing campaign and a story competition held by my school which sparked the writeroleplayer in me and I am currently 22 years old. To finish my introduction off, I am someone who listens to goth music/vkei (i LOVE plastic tree. i’m so happy to see they got some of their popularity back on tiktok), I like to play and watch basketball, I watch anime and I am currently rewatching bluelock as a refresher, and.. I also play many video games.
Now onto things I’m looking for roleplay-wise. I mentioned something about Attack on Titan but I didn’t talk about anything really specific. That’s the thing. I don’t mind what story we do. It could be something modern AU with the original characters, another story of Mikasa and Eren, maybe even an OC with one of the characters in a more modern setting. It could also be something done in the original timeline. Going through the events of becoming a scout and the rumbling as two other oc’s or one OC and one original character. I’m honestly down for anything! Just hit me with it.
CHARACTERS
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character, these usually consist of names, background, and personality. More so on appearances, I prefer using animated or drawn references than real life people. I enjoy good enough references where I get the idea of how the character would look like.
The types of characters I write are either the lone wolf type that has some sad past which leads them to want to join someone for a redemption arc or the bubbly character who is the one that brings the mood up and is usually seen as trustworthy and of that kind.
I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attract as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though. I love seeing the characters go past the urge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others lineage or upcoming.
REQUIREMENT
I think this is my last paragraph on the roleplay. It’s the most important, at least. Requirements. All roleplay searches come with them. Or at least that’s what I heard! But don’t fret, there isn’t much.
I’ve seen this as one of the most used requirements, and I agree with it. As someone who’s first language wasn’t English, I understand that you may not be great at it. But please, I do require a partner that at least has proper use of grammar and punctuation. You don’t even have to use big words or anything, just at least know where to put your periods and the placement of your words.
My second requirement is for you to be LITERATE! Please. I’m a big writer, I tend to ramble on and tend to write more than what I thought I would. (like i’m doing right now) I write multiple paragraphs from the starter until the scene relaxes. I also understand that sometimes writing big blocks of words every response is tiring or boring so I don’t expect it all the time, at least after the starter has been made and in more important scenes. Dialogue also cuts my replies shorter.
Please please please be polite in OOC! We may just be role playing together but kindness goes all ways. If we do include OOC, I enjoy talking about many things. My day, movies, games, funny moments and stories, all of that!

I had my first submental silicone chin implant 7 weeks ago under general anesthesia because it was combined with a rhinoplasty. However, the chin implant shifted and moved below my lip. This caused discomfort when smiling or laughing, so I had it removed yesterday under local anesthesia.
The removal process was quite painful, despite the surgeon administering a lot of anesthetic. It took an hour to remove the old implant and another hour to put in a new one due to the pain. After the surgery, when the surgeon showed me my reflection, I noticed that my chin looked larger and wider, which made me anxious. The surgeon attributed this to swelling from the anesthetic and the fact that it was a revision procedure, but I was still concerned.
The surgeon explained that my jawbone was more prominent, which had caused the old implant to move upwards. He inserted a smaller implant and stitched it to the edge of my jawbone to prevent movement. Two days after the surgery, I can see that my cheeks are swollen, but I am more worried about the implant placement making my chin appear longer. I originally wanted to retain my face's vertical length and only wanted a slight projection.
I'm considering having the implant removed, but I'm afraid that my skin and tissues are already stretched, and removing it might make my chin look even longer. Can you provide your opinion based on the videos and photos? Do you think that this type of swelling is normal? Has the implant made my chin appear longer and bigger?
