Would swapping mobos be worth it?

Hey Low End Gamers!
I have 2 AM2 motherboards I've been debating whether to swap for some time now (which members of the Discord server can attest to, with how much I rant about it). Both have their 'advantages' and limitations. One is AM2 (I think), the other is AM2+. Both have the same Geforce 6100/6150SE + nForce 400/430 chipset.
HP Narra5 (M2N68-LA rev5.00) https://web.archive.org/web/20220520020225/https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01701270
Foxconn M61PMV https://www.manualslib.com/manual/595090/Foxconn-M61pmv-Series.html?page=9#manual
I'm using the Foxconn board as my main. Full specs: 340W PSU (generic non-modular, no 8-pin cpu or pcie connectors) AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.7ghz (Brisbane) AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB GDDR3 (OEM) 2x2GB DDR2-800Mhz RAM
Now, the Foxconn board officially supports a Phenom II X4 945 or 955 (95W, non-BE) and DDR2-1066 (required by aforementioned CPU??). But, it has a PCIe x16 v1.1 slot.
The Narra5 board, I have heard from commentors on cpu-upgrade's Narra3 page and elsewhere, supports a Phenom II X4 945 / 955, but it is listed as Unknown Processor in BIOS. And only supports DDR2-800Mhz according to manufacturer specs (perhaps why it displays as unknown, since those CPUs claim to require DDR2-1066 on cpu-upgrade?). But, this board has a PCIe x16 v2.2 slot.
I was wondering if the Narra5 might accept 1066 memory despite it not being listed. And if utilizing the PCIe v2.2 slot might net me better performance. Pretty sure all the connectors match up, making the swap possible. But is it worth the effort?
Also, the Athlon 5200+ would be replacing a Sempron 1300-LE in the Narra5 board.
I saw somewhere that the Foxconn board has a bus speed of 1000HT/s, while the Narra5 has 2000HT/s. But according to the manual, looks like it might be 2000 for both. Though I am curious how that might translate to performance.
(And yes, I already know upgrading would be preferable. Looking into H81, B85, H110, and B250 mobos as a potential future purchase. But that might be a long way off unfortunately.)
