Let me start by saying I’m highly introverted and extremely bad at reading social cues. I’ve slowly become friends with a guy at work and we’ve become closer friends as the past year has gone by or so I thought.
We have been going through a semi similar experience the past year as my husband passed away and this guy has been going through a rocky divorce. Not exactly the same thing but we share about the hard stuff and I’ve listened to him vent a lot and talked him through a lot of struggles. We also have a lot of common interests and both work night shift (about five months ago he went to work for a different company). Since he left we went from texting rarely to several times a week to pretty much every day. He even recently told me he wanted me to meet his mom because he thought we’d have a lot in common. I’m an introvert, that struck me as odd but I know other people have friends that meet their families so I was open to it.
I know there’s no interest in anything aside from friendship. My marriage was bad for a lot of reasons; I have a ton of healing to do and haven’t been shy about sharing my lack of interest in dating anyone. He’s never said anything about it aside from he still has feelings for his ex wife and isn’t looking for anything either. On top of that I’m a 2 maybe a 3 lol so I doubt there would be any interest towards me anyway.
I say that because everything has abruptly changed in the past week. One night everything is normal, he stopped by my house to pick up something. Stayed a few minutes and left. We texted more after that. Then the next afternoon I sent him a funny meme (pretty normal for our communication pattern). He saw my messages but didn’t respond, I was like ok he’s busy. Sends a short response towards the end of his shift. Next few days I’ve sent him a couple more memes and a few messages…same thing. He usually messages back very quickly and openly engages. Last message he hasn’t responded at all at this point even though, again, he looked at it. I’m super confused. Did I misread our level of friendship? I stopped messaging him because I obviously don’t want to be that annoying pushy friend who tries too hard but I’m not sure what to do now since I value the friendship quite a bit. I also am afraid of looking like a clingy or overly attached friend if I ask him point blank if everything is ok or if I’ve done something wrong. Any advice on if I misread and thought we were better friends than he did or maybe how I can best handle the situation going forward? Do I just ghost until he actually reaches out?
tl;dr I think I assumed we were better friends than we are and might have messed up by messaging him too much and am not sure how to go forward from here and still salvage the friendship. Advice to help me fix things?

So I've added some texture mods to my Fallout: New Vegas game, and i'm trying to turn on the "Archive Invalidation" setting for it to work. I've noticed that the setting is automatically in my dashboard which makes it super easy, however the button settings kind of confuse me.
When the text says, "No" does that mean that the archive invalidation setting is *off*? Or is it implying that the setting *will* turn off if I press it?

Nevertheless, Snagharpoon, despite overall lacking in many aspects, serves as a useful back up option for when Gunmael can't win a clash, with the addition of bursting tremor; a nice cherry on top. LegerdemainThat doesn't even look like an appleSome people consider Legerdemain to be one of the best ego in the game. I mean, a cheap AOE which inflicts paralyze? What's not to love. And yes, they are right. Legerdemain really is an amazing ego. Tremor or not. On tremor, it is even better... shame that Gregor has no ID to use it on. Rosespanner is, as discussed in the first tremor report, not a reliable tremor ID, and this ego does not justify bringing him. As for any other... well, they won't be bad. Think of it more as an SP healing tool to use whenever Outis goes first than something like Rose Garden Gregor. Binds HeathcliffOugh...This EGO beffudles me. On one hand, I can't say it is bad. A tremor team fuels it well, it buffs Heath up potently, bursts tremor, and hey! It even does a bit of sinking! But... I don't know, something just doesn't click on it for me. The Passive is sadly useless, as tremor struggles with long resonance chains. The Idea of bursting tremor, then getting buffs to whail on a staggered enemy is fun, but the fact the buffs mostly help with AOE also beffudles me. Still, it is undoubtfully a powerful ego, and its unique SP cost helps ensure you can always win your Sanity back. Binds OutisMmmfSimilar to the Heathcliff Binds, but instead of getting buffs it focuses purely on tremor. This makes it much better in a tremor team, surprisingly. Even without Tremor Collapse, this would be an amazing EGO that helps smoothe out the weaknesses of a Tremor team. With it? It's fucking glorious. The amount of damage you can dish out with this and Oufi Heathcliff almost makes you forget Tremor "sucks" And that is all! I loved making small talk with her and lightly flirting, never going overboard. She mostly responded positively and remarked once that we have chemistry together. So, I say to an intern sitting on the rightmost side that day that I was feeling cold and would like to move to his position and he agreed. As he was getting up, so was I and in that moment, my colleague suddenly grabbed the back of my palm, more specifically the bare forearm area around the wrist and held onto it firmly. I turn to face her while sitting down and we make eye contact. In that moment, she says “let me” and then gets up and moves to that seat herself.
I was somewhat taken aback and a couple seconds later say “I was supposed to sit there”, to which she said why while smiling and I didn’t say anything in response. She giggled and we just resumed our respective work. Ever since that day, I have been feeling a little differently about her. I've been on the apps for six months now and I have to say that I don't really like them at all - it's either people treat it like playing Candy Crush and are not interested in meeting new people or there's a weird vibe and expectation on the first date where the other we are vetting if the other person is a suitable candidate for dating with often too much expectations. I'd rather see someone out there in the city and get a feel for them through interaction rather than look at pictures and prompts.
The fact is that I'm kind of love-starved and I really want to have kids before I'm 40 so I kind of feel my "radar" going off more than ever before, like being sort of desperate to find a partner.
But here's the problem: after a relationship lasting years and picking up the pieces of the aftermath I've noticed I don't have the confidence to approach women anymore - where in my 20s I was adept at small talk and the act of "selling myself" by giving a good impression and being charming, it seems I don't see any point in the effort now. I might see someone interesting and appealing and my instant internal response is that I'm going to get rejected and I'm not attractive enough. I fail before I even try. Even though I try to rationalise it through some form of Pascal's Wager telling myself that I don't have anything to lose being alone but I have everything to gain I can't bring myself to just let go and approach women. I think the fact that I'm so starved for love and connection is flashing a sign of desperation to women around me.
It would be ideal to me to just meet women as friends through common hobbies and interests and let chemistry do the work if there is some but all of my hobbies tend to be quite solitary, I'm mostly meeting people in gigs & clubs.
How could I let go of "needing" to find someone in my life and just organically learn to approach women who I might find sharing the same kind of vibe and interests as I do?

This is my very first post here so apologies in advance for anything that I'm doing wrong.
I've been married for 9 years. My wife (40) is stunning, intelligent and everything that I (or anyone) could ever ask for. My parents were very happy when I introduced her to them, as was my brother. I had almost given up on marriage for various reasons but having this woman fall in love with me was better than my wildest dreams! My brother is a couple of years younger than I and was married before I met my wife.
When I introduced my wife(then girlfriend) to my brother and sister-in-law, she was very cold. She made no effort to try to get to know my wife and didn't even attend our wedding. She flew down to our hometown a month before our wedding but was adamant about not attending the wedding. She later told my mother that it was because she hadn't been consulted for any of the wedding preparations!
8 years down the line things have only become worse with my brother.
My father passed away a few years ago and my sister-in-law was a complete nightmare. In what was already a very difficult time for a family, she created a scene saying that she was "ignored" , that everyone likes my wife more and even went so far to allege that my brother and my wife were having an affair. My brother was understandably furious at her while my wife has always maintained a dignified silence and doesn't believe in retorts. She is bewildered and extremely upset at the way that thing have turned out and if you ask me I still don't know what exactly has gone wrong. My wife has never even had a conversation with my sister-in-law and feels very upset about the fact that our daughter has never got to meet or interact with her cousins.
My brother appears to have a miserable married life, walks on eggshells around her and from what little I have seen of his kids, they are not doing too well either.
SIL calls my mother from time to time and complains about my wife, saying that everyone can't get enough of her, and how she(SIL) is the victim. She says the nastiest things, conjures up scenarios in her head and then decides that they are facts. I will definitely get hauled over the coals for saying this but SIL is obese and not a great looker.
A couple of years ago, my wife told me to speak to my brother and ask him what the problem really is. She said if needed she is ready to apologize to SIL for anything that might have offended her, for the simple fact that all of us should get a long for the sake of the children. My brother kept asking for "more time", as he put it and at the end of it said, his wife doesn't want any communication with us.
My brother on his past attempted a few feeble phone calls over the years which have now completely stopped. He now says he and the kids will only speak to us if SHE is spoken to first, and we try to get on her good side. The entitlement and arrogance is mind boggling!
Holidays are now spent in isolation and there is hardly any relationship between my brother and I.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make things better? I am clueless about what to do and I really don't know where and how things have gone so horribly wrong

Getting to grips with the game playing as Sardinia Piedmont and trying to make inroads into Africa. It's 1850 and I'm trying to make a protectorate out of Oro. I've researched quite a few military techs, probably about a third of my research so far has been for military techs.
I thought I'd have a massive tech advantage so wouldn't need to send too many battalions. First I sent 10, they got defeated easily, tried again with, 20, they also got defeated easily. Then I tried 30 and I've just tried 40. Defeated easily every time.
On the last attempt I think they took like 5K casualties out of their (and their allies) 50K men, whereas pretty much all of mine were either killed or wounded or otherwise put out of action. I should point out they had 1 ally who was also an African minor nation.
Is it because it's a naval invasion, is that specifically why I'm getting my arse handed to me every time? Or are uncivilised countries actually a lot tougher in this game than in Vicky 2?
Thought I'd steamroller them without issue but I've been humbled to say the least. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've connected MSI Claw (Core Ultra 7 155H with Intel Arc) via Dell Dock D6000 Type C (powered by 100W laptop charger) and DisplayPort to a Dell Monitor and it's not showing any picture on the monitor. In fact the Claw doesn't even recognise external screen. I've then tried using Cable Matters 4K@120Hz hub (powered by 120W Anker 737 charger) to LG C1 TV and I had "no signal issue", but this time Claw has actually recognised it's connected to external screen, but all I got was "no signal".I was ready to say "probably faulty Type C port on the MSI Claw" but then I've restarted the device and it showed MSI Boot logo on external display, however when windows booted I got "no signal" on external screen, yet again. I've scoured MSI and Intel forums and found someone with similar issue who said that it works when you cap it at 30Hz. And so I did, and it turns out that when I do change it to 30Hz the MSI Claw/Arc does actually output signal to external monitor and/or TV, but at 30Hz. Following that I've uninstalled via device manager the Arc driver, which is 31.0.101.5522 the latest available intel driver for the Arc in MSI Claw, and re-downloaded it using MSI Mobile M on the MSI Claw which downloaded 31.0.101.5522 again. I've encountered the same issue, anything over 30Hz and I get "no signal" on external screen(s). I've then uninstalled the driver via DDU in safe mode and installed the Arc driver, again 31.0.101.5522, directly from Intel website. Unfortunately, the 30Hz is still the case. I've got no outstanding Windows Updates, I've tried 3 different HDMI 2.1 cables, 2x 40GBps, and 1x 48GBps, I've tried DisplayPort connection, and the best I can get is 1080p@30Hz. Sadly, I also have ROG Ally with AMD Z1 Extreme, and it works flawlessly outputting 1080p@120Hz, which really helps as LG C1 supports VRR.

Just saw a video and ninjas teammate asks ninja if people are soft for muting emotes. I agree with ninja and alot of the comments in that video are funny cause people dont understand the point of what epic did.
I agree with the decision for the same reason that supercells playerbase wanted them to make it so that you can mute emotes in clash royale. Lets be honest, when u play a video game you get on to have fun. Most of the time you get on after a long day at work to forget about life for awhile. We all know damn well that when we do the laugh it up and the take the L were doing it to be toxic. So why call someone soft if theyre having a bad day and they just wanna play the game and have fun and they dont want to see those emotes? Imo they should make that an option for every emote. Emotes were added for YOUR enjoyment… not so that you can bully other people and be rude. That being said if some people want to say “why would they do that if i spent 20 dollars on an emote? Ig i waisted my money” and we look at the big picture and they use their emotes to be toxic then that sounds like a YOU problem and maybe u got some stuff to work on. welcome to the world where Coffee contains magical properties. I was desperately looking for new ideas for my world and when I was drinking coffee I realized what if I design a magic system that is based on coffee? That’s how I started this world.
Now you might think how would this coffee magic work right? Coffee in this world is a magical potion, so to get a powerful potion you need to brew the potion in the right way. Similarly to use coffee magic to a greater extent you need to make the perfect cup of coffee. Also, I am planning to make this world kind of like an oxymoron. So the coffee magic sounds like a light, chill kind of magic but the characters and races I am planning to make would be gore in a way. I feel this type of mix-and-match would make this world interesting in a funny way.
So how does this coffee magic work? Well, firstly there are berries found in different regions with different elemental properties. Second, is the roast of coffee if it is lightly roasted, dark roasted, etc. Third is how fine or coarse the coffee is, fourth is how it is brewed and last is how the coffee is mixed with other ingredients. These Five things are how an appropriate coffee potion is made.
Let's understand the potions with an example
For a berry, I have chosen Vaya which was first discovered in the highlands of Vellure. Due to it being in the mountains the element it has is Wind. Let's say the roast is a dark roast, with fine powder. An espresso shot is brewed with no additional ingredients.
The effects of the spell would be something like this: when you drink a shot of this espresso, you will be able to jump at very high heights for a few minutes.
This is how you can brew a spell and use it as magic.
I want to push the limits and deep dive into brewing coffee and create different spells and finally a spell book. I want to cross the limits of what a magic system can do and create these complex mechanics for my magic system. In the future, we will learn about the magic system in detail and its lore. My question is: Can I knock out Orin in the sewers and still save my party member later?
I can even reduce her HP to zero but she doesn't die. I can steal her clothing and some gold, though. So basically my brother was permanently expelled from my school for incomplete work, not wearing a jacket in winters, and low grades. My brother had a small fight in the school with one kid(my brother was in 8th) who's parents demanded my brother's expulsion too, on the first day of 9th grade, my brother was fasting but was very happy to go to school, but he was stopped at the reception for hours saying "you're not going anywhere till your father comes" my father is a bit old, just turned 60. he went to the school and was told your son cannot attend this school because of his incomplete work and such things. They could have told this to my father on PTM day, but they waited till school reopening as the vacancies in other schools almost ends by then. They very well used this tactic, when my father mentioned this saying "no school can admit him now" the school incharge said "exactly "(this is well recorded conversation) My parents, when went to talk to school administration the second time were stopped from entering the school. We had financial lows in my brothers 8th grade so fees used to be a little late, for that reason my brother wasn't allowed to play sports. the school also bought this topic against him that he does not play anything, but he literally got a certificate when his fees was fine and he played. My brother, thankfully, after trying in almost 30 schools who said vacancy is full, is in a different school now but it absolutely breaks my heart to see such a thing. This school has a long history of PDA, vape possession, gangs running from inside the school, bloodshed, FIRs and police visiting the school...but these children have not recieved any such permanent expulsion. I dont want any other kid to face this. it's disturbing for me to see others having a perfect education there while my brother stayed at home for almost a month and faced mental trauma. I had someone ask a person they knew in education ministry, they simply said that no child is permanently suspended over such things in delhi. Coming to my question, that girl who tweeted and made it to news about SA on metro, idk whom she tagged but I'd need y'alls help! in framing a tweet and whom to tag! Please help this reach higher authorities.

First, I accidentally read a spoiler regarding Scribe Haylen. Is there any possible way to save her, send her to a community, have her become a companion, or possibly romance her without using mods? In my opinion she deserves more of a chance in Fallout 4.
The other is Shelly Tiller. I didn't kill her during the Silver Shroud missions, as she wasn't a bad person overall. Unfortunately, I killed Sinjin and saved Kent Connolly, thereby completing the Silver Shroud quests. I went looking for Shelly at the National Guard Training Yard to send her to a community, but she wasn't there. Did she go elsewhere, or is she gone after completing the quest line?
Lastly, but not least. Trashcan Carla. That thieving witch stole my power armor. I read that you can pickpocket the fusion core, and she'll jump out, OR she'll show up at Beacon Hill and it'll be sitting next to her, in which case you can just get it back. However, she was taunting me with it, and being her typical nasty self, and WOULD NOT leave Sanctuary. I went to Beacon Hill SEVERAL times looking for her to appear, but she didn't. Just stayed at Sanctuary during the day hours, everyday, in my power armor. My pickpocketing skills were not built up at all. I attempted anyway to try to resolve the issue. She then turned hostile in my power armor, so I really had no choice but to put her down with my Two Shot Assault Rifle right in the road of Sanctuary. I wasn't wearing any power armor myself at the time and my companion, MacCready did nothing to help, not that I needed it, but it's the point. You're companion's supposed to provide support in conflict. I also read that you can shoot the fusion core and Trashcan Carla will jump out of the power armor as well. It's too late now, she's dead in my street with her caravan brahmin walking around while she draws flies. The occasional settler on non used companion will walk by and stop at her body also. Is there a way a way to remove her??? I tried, but it says that she's too heavy because she's lying dead in my old power armor frame. At this point she's an eyesore. I also read that she is/was an Institute "snitch", so I really don't feel bad, except for not having the convenience of a trader in my settlement now.
I'm playing on the remastered quality version of Fallout 4 on PS5. Any help or answers/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As time gone i observed that I usually ejaculate with almost flacid penis. My sperm became watery and clear even after two week abstinating. My orgasm became less intense even after abstination. When I realised that i was really dumb I decided to stop masturbating. during first three months of abstination sexual drive really dropped. Almost no libido, no morning hard woods. I became attracted to anything nor porn nor human. Nothing turn me hard.
Now if i try to masturbate i never get arroused and spontaneous erection from it. I have to use my hand to get at least "somehow" erected. Iam able to ejaculate almost with flaccid penis after 20 seconds of masturbation. After ejaculation i feel really "soft" weak orgasm. My penis became somehow erected but not instantly hard. If i stop stimulating it will became flaccid in 5 seconds. Tip of penis is usually more weaker than the root. I tried some natural remedies but nothing really helped. I have already overcome porn addiction. Problem is that i have lost the request for spontaneous arrousal. I can go whole year without masturbation, porn and touching my penis but i cant get spontaneous erected or arroused from the sexual content. Even that fact i can feel the orgasm that is pleasurable but nothing pulls me to keep me arroused or erected during the process of masturbation. And after ejaculation i feel extremely empty even if i abstinated for 3 month. Iam afraid that i can get UTI or prostate infection from not releasing.

Hi,
I was extremely adicted to porn and masturbation. I had OCD. Due to ocd many times I pushed myself to masturbate again right after ejaculation. As time gone i observed that I usually ejaculate with almost flacid penis. My sperm became watery and clear even after two week abstinating. My orgasm became less intense even after abstination. When I realised that i was really dumb I decided to stop masturbating. during first three months of abstination sexual drive really dropped. Almost no libido, no morning hard woods. I became attracted to anything nor porn nor human. Nothing turn me hard.
Now if i try to masturbate i never get arroused and spontaneous erection from it. I have to use my hand to get at least "somehow" erected. Iam able to ejaculate almost with flaccid penis after 20 seconds of masturbation. After ejaculation i feel really "soft" weak orgasm. Right after orgasm i feel really depressed, iam so down that i feel no reason to have sexual arrousal ever again. I can hardly say wether the orgasm was pleasurable or not. Has anyone sufferd from simillar problems? I have done myself complete blood test to check my hormones and everything is in range.
When i started abstination i can last unlimited time without sexual arrousal. I completely lost ability to feel some "tease" from sexual content/object. More i tried to abstinate it became worse and worse. If i tried masturbate the strange feeling of emptyness became, i feel really tired and unmotivated. I feel like having zero testosterone levels.

I recently had one cc of voluma injected into my cheeks/smile lines. I just turned 35 and have just been feeling so saggy and I think spending too much time on TikTok seeing filler transformations lol.
While I don’t think it looks bad, I had a revision rhinoplasty a few years ago, and I have Cartlidge graphs on the sides of my nose to repair it during thag surgery and the filler was done much closer to my nose and smile lines than I had originally thought it would be so it is really pulling on my nose/I am so scared that it is going to migrate or damage my nose. (I’m having a lot of discomfort on the sides of my nose)
When I called the doctor because I was having some nerve pain and expressed my concern, he was saying oh it wasn’t done anywhere near the nose, but I know that it was.
I had under eye filler done 5 ish years ago and everyone has always says it would have been gone, but now I’m feeling like I really should’ve had them do the ultrasound and check.

Listening to CBC Radio this morning. Now I'm hearing that Hogan has backed off on threats to Francophone school districts, saying they're now following new provincial policy on pronoun use in schools. The Francophone DECs themselves say they aren't. He's still pursuing Anglophone East School District for doing exactly the same thing.
They've lost it, in my opinion.
* They're trampling on elected local school districts, which is almost always an election loser
* They're blatantly avoiding a constitutional argument on minority education rights by backing off on the Francophone school districts and telling an outright lie to save face.
* They're continuing to push this culture wars nonsense, which I still don't think plays in New Brunswick and has no basis in Canadian law. You cannot legally have rights over another person that supercedes their human rights. Parental rights are not a thing.
Can we get to the fall aready so we can turn the page and get back to our provincial sanity? I am not proud to live as a New Brunswicker under this government and have no respect for these people.
