Gojo Satoru cookie (my original design and idea.)
Gojo Satoru Cookie charges up his reverse cursed technique, before shooting a beam of cursed technique reversal: red. While Gojo Satoru Cookie is using his skill, his CRIT DMG is increased and enemies hit by the cursed technique reversal: red will be stunned. While Gojo Satoru Cookie is charging his laser, he will briefly become resistant to interrupting effects. After using his skill, Gojo Satoru Cookie will gain a stack of ‘blue’. Once Gojo Satoru Cookie gains 3x stack of blue, his skill will be enhanced. Instead of firing Cursed Technique Reversal: red, he will instead use Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue, absorbing the cookies in a ball of Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue.
Red single hit dmg: 150%
Red charge up: 1.5 seconds
Blue periodic dmg: 50% per 0.5 second, Lasts for 3 seconds.
Btw, this is my first time drawing cookies, so I apologize for the mask. The second picture is a rare costume.
I also wanna make his 'crazed' state, which is his rematch with toji, as well as his sukuna vs gojo outfit.
Might consider making a magic candy. Spoiler, >! It's gonna be hollow purple!<

2024.05.17 12:52 Healthiermetoday07 The Most Important Vitamins for Men: Essential Nutrients for Optimal Health

Maintaining optimal health requires a balanced diet rich in essential vitamins and minerals. For men, certain vitamins play critical roles in supporting bodily functions, enhancing energy levels, and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. This blog explores the most important vitamins for men, highlighting their benefits and sources to help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Vitamin D: The Sunshine Vitamin

Benefits: Vitamin D is crucial for bone health as it aids in the absorption of calcium, thereby preventing osteoporosis and fractures. It also supports immune function, reduces inflammation, and has been linked to improved heart health and mood regulation.
Sources:
Note: Men, especially those living in areas with limited sunlight, should consider regular vitamin D level checks and supplementation if necessary.

Vitamin B12: Energy and Brain Health

Benefits: Vitamin B12 is essential for red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis, and neurological function. It helps prevent anemia and supports mental health, enhancing memory and reducing the risk of depression.
Sources:
Note: Older men and those with absorption issues should monitor their B12 levels closely.

Vitamin C: Immune Booster and Antioxidant

Benefits: Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage, boosts the immune system, and enhances iron absorption. It also plays a role in collagen production, promoting skin health and wound healing.
Sources:
Note: Regular intake is necessary as the body does not store vitamin C.

Vitamin A: Vision and Immune Health

Benefits: Vitamin A is vital for maintaining healthy vision, especially night vision, and supports the immune system. It also plays a role in skin health and reproductive functions.
Sources:
Note: Balance is key; both deficiency and excess can cause health issues.

Vitamin E: Antioxidant Protection

Benefits: Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative stress and supporting immune function. It also contributes to skin health and may reduce the risk of heart disease.
Sources:
Note: A balanced diet usually provides adequate vitamin E.

Vitamin K: Bone and Heart Health

Benefits: Vitamin K is essential for blood clotting and bone health. It helps maintain bone density and reduces the risk of fractures, and also plays a role in heart health by preventing arterial calcification.
Sources:
Note: Consistent intake is important, especially for those on blood-thinning medications.

Folate (Vitamin B9): Heart Health and Cell Function

Benefits: Folate is crucial for DNA synthesis, cell division, and the formation of red and white blood cells. It helps reduce the risk of heart disease and supports mental health.
Sources:
Note: Adequate folate intake is essential for all men, particularly those planning to start a family.

Conclusion

A well-balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains is the best way to ensure adequate intake of these essential vitamins. However, individual needs may vary based on age, lifestyle, and health conditions. Men should consider regular check-ups and consultations with healthcare providers to determine any specific vitamin deficiencies and appropriate supplementation if necessary.
By focusing on these key vitamins, men can support their overall health, enhance energy levels, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases, leading to a healthier and more vibrant life.

2024.05.17 12:30 PimsriReddit Just got back from Greece and I'm very happy

(Note, this is one of those long, loooong “I went to Greece and this is what I did” post)
I've wanted to go to Greece since I was young. I wrote in my diary when I was 17 that I would go one day and exactly 10 years later I would actually go. Took me 4 years to save up. So I'm very happy.
I have 9 days there, 27th APR to 5th MAY
I arrived very early on the first day which is the 27th with my one backpack and one daypack, and went to Keramikos right away. Had ice cream on the way because I craved sweets after 17 hours traveling. I really love it there and it, along with Delphi, are my most favorite places I visited. I really like how tranquil it is, and I really like the museum and also the tortoises too. I had a dream about tortoises that night. Then I stopped and ate a Greek salad. I learned how to compliment food in Greek and made the waiter laugh lol. The second place I went to is the Agora and the temple of Hephaestus. The whole area is very beautiful, but I accidentally fell asleep and didn’t realize I was sitting where I shouldn’t be sitting but luckily someone woke me up. Felt bad about it :/ Well, anyway, I looked at the museum in the agora too. I really like the big shield (I didn’t know it’s a shield at first. it’s huge.). I found that I get dehydrated so quickly, so I tried to drink as often as I can. I can see the temple of Hephaestus from the agora! It look like a painting. I walked around the place, I just want to convince myself that I’m actually here first before I go to see the temple of Hephaestus. The people back home’s not gonna believe this, the temple is so pristine, so wonderfully preserved. I get to look at the inside which is not often in the pictures. Then I walked past the Monastiraki square to go to my hotel, then came out to get gyro. I slept at a hotel that night because I accidentally booked it (I intend to stay the rest of the night in Athens in a cheaper apartment).
The next day was the 28th May, initially a day trip to Delphi but as I got there I found out my booking was cancelled due to some problem so I booked a new one on the next available day which is the 30th. Initially, the 30th was the day I intended to climb Acropolis because it’s weekday/less busy, but it’s ok! so, I left my baggage in a baggage store place, and walk to Acropolis! I was very excited, my heart beat very fast all the way up and not because I’m tired or anything. I just can't believe I’m actually here. It’s very slippery, and at one point I look and see a long walk up, so I was busy looking at the path and not looking up because I was afraid of slipping, so I get to look around only once I was at the top, and when I look down I finally saw the Herodion and it is bigger and higher up than I thought, and my hair stand up. The Acropolis was ok, but the Erechtheion have always interest me more, because again, it’s on more thing that’s bigger in real life than in pictures. The path down from Acropolis is even more slippery. There were so many musicians, it’s very lively. Met a really cool guy who dressed as Spartan warrior. I walked through the Acropolis museum. I got sad about the missing karyatid, because there were 5 of them displayed, but the vacant space they left for the 6th made me sad. I hope she will stand in that spot one day (I was already missing my sisters and family too… so it feels a little personal to me.) I got really tired then so I ate another salad but this time an Athenian salad. Then I climbed Philopapou! I noticed a tall monument from the top of the Acropolis and wanted to see what it is. On the way I visited the prison of Sokrates, and then this clearing called Pnyx, and it's windy there and got a lot of shade so I slept a while before going to the top of it. Well the monument is beautiful and tall. I can't believe that, compared to the rest of the places I visited before, this monument is considered new. I got lost a bit on the way down (I didn’t go down the way I came. there is a path from the monument and I wanna see where it goes). and um, something happen on the way down. A man asked me if I want to get a coffee with him. I politely declined but that’s the first time in my hideous person life that someone ‘flirt’ with me. People don’t do that, unless as a joke. So I feel weird I guess but not bad at all. Anyway I was so tired so I call taxi with the app Freenow. it’s decent price, I think. I goes to get my baggage and walk to the apartment I’ll be staying and I found a “super food market” on the way (near Temple of Olympian Zeus) and I got some energy bars there. I watched the Temple of Zeus from behind the gate (I didn’t pay to go inside) and see the statue of Alexander the Great on the way. I wash my cloth at the apartment and ate instant rice porridge I brought from home (I was on budget, I can’t eat out every meal).
On the 29th May I woke early so I can have breakfast and hot tea because I got a little sick last night. It’s usually 35 degree celsius in my country so I’m not used to the cold. The tour office is just a few minutes walk from my apartment. I get to sit in the front of the bus and see in front, not just on the side! I’m excited because the route is ancient route, like there are temples on the way, and pass by Eleusis (I really like the book “The King must Die” by Mary Renault and it’s a location for important part of the story about Theseus) After a brief stop where I get to walk to the bridge across the Corinth canal, I finally got to Epidaurus. The theatre there is so unreal. Climbed to the top and still hear the ‘clink!’ of someone dropping a coin on the orchestra below. Museum is pretty, and the fact that almost all the statues are missing their heads are kinda eerie. there are so many medical tools in the museum too. Really made me realized about the fact that people nowaday come to Epidaurus for the theatre but people long ago come here to be treated for their illness. Very difference purposes. The tour stopped at Nafplio for lunch. Had grilled dish and learned how to squeeze lemon on meats. Also went to pharmacy to get something for a sore throat and a face mask. An hour later I was in Mycenae archeological site! I really looked forward to see the Lion gate and it did not dissappoint. Bigger and taller than I imagined. 2 years ago I painted a picture of the Lion gate, and I tried walking around for an angle that fit the one in my painting. I took one, and when I put the pictures and the painting side by side, it’s almost the same angle, just different lighting! (It was morning in my painting, but mid day when I took the picture) It’s very intimidating and I imagine it must have been very scary to defeated enemies or captives, being brought into this city and looking up from their chains to see the lions. The tomb of Atreus is chilling. Both because it’s cold inside but also because it’s, well, a tomb. A large and important one. Overall, Argolis is a beautiful region, a lot of plains and very windy. Once again very tired when I got back to my apartment, but I get to wash my hair!
The 30th is my long-awaited Delphi day tour. Like I said, this was originally on the 28th but due to problem with, I think, the app I used to book it, it got cancelled without me knowing, and the tour company is very helpful and helped me book it for a very fair price, but I’ll just have to buy tickets myself. It’s a longer drive this time, but the sceneries is beautiful. I LOVE mountains, so the views interests me all the way there (even if I didn’t get to sit in the front, and the window is tinted so it’s a little dark) I really admire bus drivers in Greece. The mountain path is narrow in the village on the way, but they’re all very good drivers. It’s quite cold up there. There are caterpillar silk nest on the pine trees that look like cotton candies. Delphi is… um, it’s like it’s not in this world. It’s like it’s from another world, and maybe you could say that it is, it’s from the world in the past, or something. I felt as if I was in a dream. I can’t explain it, but it make the place all quiet and tranquil despite all the wind and the tourists. Like there are tourists, but it also feel as though they don’t exist, but it’s doesn’t feel vacant either, but instead there’s “presence” all around that doesn’t come from the tourists. I understand now why the people in the past believe that this is center of the world, or believe that gods were here. The tour guide said to meet at the museum in an hour and a half, and I really want to go see the small temple to Athena, just beyond the athletes area, but I was afraid I wouldn’t go to the tour guide in time so I didn’t go. Kinda regrets it. Anyway I fell in love at the museum in Delphi. The artifacts inside are gorgeous, I particularly love the sphynx and the charioteer (bought a postcard of it back home) but none as gorgeous as the statue of Antinous. He’s beautiful and I’ve never seen a boy more lovely than him, even the living ones. I seen the stone that contain a ‘sheet music’ and lyrics. I remember that melody, because I played a game called Assassin’s Creed Origin once and the musician NPCs sometimes plays this music. It’s good to finally see the ‘sheet music’ itself! Had a bit of a late lunch and had feta cheese salad, it’s delicious. Another long drive back, where I get to nap a bit. There’s a dessert place nearby where I tried some pastry and then a convenient store where I bought pudding from a freezer. Greece only have 3 Lays flavours that I’ve seen but a lot of bars of grains and cereal to choose from which I really enjoy (especially the ones with honey)
On the May day, I pack my things and checked out, again with my backpack on the back and daypack on the front. I called a taxi this time, before the strike happen, so I can go to the national archeological museum. I know the museum already have place to deposit backpacks. I walked around for about 4 hours. Everything is pretty even if I was still thinking about Antinous. Everything is amazing to me there. I like to be reminded of the fact that it’s really human’s nature to make pretty things. I visited the museum giftshop too. I travelled alone with little space so I know I shouldn’t buy lots of souvenirs, but I did get a lot of postcards because I like them, and allow myself one book. Had a heated gyros outside, just a quick bite, while I wait for a ‘break’ in the strike, then take the taxi to Spata, near the airport, because I have a very early flight tomorrow. I booked a room there that’s really huge (it’s a bit expansive, because there are flight change so I had to find new hotel.) Since I arrived in the early evening, I get to wash my cloths and see it dry before the night. It’s really really cold out here now. I get to rest the whole evening and eat the food I bought earlier. (I took a foldable tupperware with me. I use them to pack lunch for work but this trip I used it to pack leftovers from tavernas). I sleep early and was kinda nervous about the flight, but I woke early too.
on the 2nd of May, I booked a taxi on Freenow since the day before so by the time the taxi arrive, I was already standing outside waiting. Again, I shouldn't have gone out to wait early and should've stayed inside the building until the taxi arrived, because it's so cold, and I think this got me sich later. The flight went well and took me to Herakleion safely. I have a little problem finding which bus goes to the city but I found it and arrived safely to the center too. I took the bus number 2 to Knossos! I got very excited when I see the road sign that indicated that Knossos was just ahead. I ate first though. I had moussaka. I bought an audio guide because I want to try touring using an audio guide, and the direction was confusing, maybe because it's not updated. I ended up walking around and around trying to find the spot the tour was talking about. Knossos is as I expected. It was mostly reconstructed, but I still had a lot of fun imagining what it could look like, and thinking about the people that lived there. It means something to me because I've always been obsessed with the minotaur since I was little, since before knowing what country the story come from. So seeing something related to, or even potentially the origin of the tale, has been super exciting to me, and also because, as I mentioned, I really like Renault's “The King Must Die”. I really love it there. The review said it’s not authentic and I agree, but to me, it matters enough that I’m here, so I’m very happy with that. Unfortunately, I spent so much time in Knossos that I didn’t spent as much as I want in Herakleion musuem! Still feel bad about that. But I get to see the bull leap frescoes, and all the pots and vases and statues with bulls on it. There’s so many thing with bulls, like a statue and a really beautiful bull head vessel and a small statuettes with people grabbing on a bull’s horns. I really love them all. I get to see the real vase with octopus. I have a blanket with Minoan octopus on it, it’s good to see the real thing. I got a tiny bronze bull replica of the one in the museum. It’s small so it doesn’t weight much. Unfortunately, for the rest of my journey, I’d be sick. It start with sore throat that evening, which progress into symptoms of sinusitis. I had to visit the pharmacy again. Hot tea didn’t help this time, my nose was too dry for too long and I think I’ve been cold for too long as well.
The 3rd of May is holiday, I know this, so I pick this as the day to travel to Chania via bus and explore Chania. I woke up when I’m ready because I’m in no rush today. I ate all the supplies I had for dinner and breakfast to make my pack light, so I head out of the hotel and walk to the bus station. I waited a while, feeling myself getting more sick. It was about 3 hours to Chania with no bathroom break so I suffered a bit, but wow, the landscape of Crete is so much different from Attika. It’s less trees and more of large bushes. All the way, the right side is the sea, and the left is the mountain. It’s beautiful. I miss the cypress though, there are less cypress in Crete. On the way though! I saw a goat with a really big horns. I think it’s one of those Cretan wild goat, which I was excited to see at Samaria gorge. I had to use the bathroom real quick after I arrived. The bus stop is near my hotel, but it’s not time to check in yet, so I went and had lunch by the harbour. Look pretty just like in the pictures I’ve seen! I had calamari and sakanagi. It’s so delicious and refreshing. They have rice which is different from the one in my country, the rice is tiny and round and cuter than the white fluffy rice at my home. I was so full. I learned about how, after you asked for the bill, they’ll give you dessert first so I really look forward to it. I got a really good dessert too, and had to sit a while because I’m so full. I walked to the hotel, and there are two identical entrance. Luckily the staff was there and show me the right entrance. My room for the last 3 nights is small and cozy, really love it. I hope to eat out at dinner, but unfortunately, by that time, my sickness got so bad, I can only walk to the nearby supermarket and buy a salad and tea with honey. Tomorrow I was supposed to go hike the Samaria gorge. I’m a regular person, I wasn’t super fit, but I’m not a weakling either, and I have hiked in my country several times but it’s a different climate (hot and wet tropical jungle, not dry and cold) and I got Covid once which got my health down so bad that I had trouble even walking up stair but I bounced back since then. But this hike is a bit longer than my longest hike, so I trained myself for it for about 6 months and got fitter than I’ve ever been. I was so ready, sooooo ready. But that night, I had to emailed them to cancelled the hike because I got a bad fever, and my throat is all red. I just tried making myself feel comfortable all night. It’s a sad 4th of May, but I got better in the evening! When I’m sure I was well, I went out. Tomorrow everything will close again so this is my last chance to buy souvenirs. I got more postcards and, since I couldn’t go to Samaria to see the goats, I bought myself a little goat plushie that have “Love Crete” embroidered on his back. I would love if I could buy plushie from different countries I visited, of an important animals of that place (I got an emu from when I was in Australia) and for dinner, there’s this place called To Xani that I’ve read review of and wanted to try so I went. I have rabbit stifado because I’ve never tried rabbit. It’s like chicken but less fat and more sweet, to me. So far, that’s my favourite dish of all I’ve tried in Greece. That night, I planed to go to church and see how Christian celebrates Easter, but unfortunately, as the night gets late, I got sick again, so I went to sleep.
The 5th, my last day, is my relaxing day, which initially I want to use it to stroll around the city and chill. Instead I lay sick almost all day. I haven’t eaten the Cretan dish on my list yet, which is last one left on my list; Cretan pie. So I went out anyway during the evening and ordered a takeaway to eat at my hotel. At least I’m happy with that, especially because I stopped to watch the sun set for the last time before I leave tomorrow.
I pre-booked a taxi which take me to the airport. I flew from Chania to Athens, then I switched to another airline that take me home, with a 4 hours stop at Istanbul. during the longest leg of the flight, which is Istanbul to my home, I got more sick so rapidly (I think the cold and dry cabin air got me) I feel so guilty because I was afraid I might make other people sick too. (I wear mask all the time). 28 hours after I left my hotel in Chania, I got home safe with a new goat friend.
So, that’s my adventure! I’m not sure why I got that sick. It’s not covid though. I noticed that the dry climate made me thirsty very often and I think maybe I was dehydrated? Or is it simply the cold? Or maybe I caught something from Greek people because I noticed a lot of people were sneezing. Is it the season? I noticed some olive trees have flowers when it’s supposed to bloom in summer, so there’s an unusual weather and that make people sick and I caught something from them?
Next time I’ll bring some medicines of my own because medicines are expansive there. Next time, I’ll be better prepared. I want to go back again, because I haven’t seen everything yet. And especially have not hiked Samaria yet. Maybe next time, I’ll go when it’s warmer, but not in the middle of European people’s summer holiday, because I don’t like too many people.
Anyway, the trip may have ended badly, but over all it’s still a wonderful trip. I learned a lot about traveling, I become motivated to start another side hustle so I can make more money to travel, I learned about life outside my country. It’s also worth everything I have been doing to get here too. Overall, I’m very very happy, and can see myself going back there again.
Actually, during the time I prepare for this trip, one of the preparation is learning how to speak Greek. I learned on free online sources, and I’m proud that I get to speak Greek to Greek people (say things like "This food is delicious" "I like it" "the weather is cold" "I'm traveling for ten days")
I think people will ask because somehow some people can tell, so I’ll answer first, yes i have autism. I don’t expect many people to read to the end but thank you if you do. English is not my first language so I'm sorry for grammar mistakes that I made. Feel free to talk about your own experience too because I always love hearing about it. I’m from Thailand by the way.

2024.05.17 12:25 Ok_Powerfully Energy drinks/beverages!

I'm in serious need of an energy drink that makes a difference in my life. For a while now, I've been consuming C4 energy drinks, which contain 200 mg of caffeine each can, but they don't really make a difference. When I questioned a coworker who is obsessed with energy drinks, he was afraid that I could drink two C4s and then take a sleep because he normally gets sick from just one of those. Monster and Rock Star are ineffective, and I detest the flavour of Red Bull. Has anyone discovered a caffeine or energy drink that truly works as a pick-me up? Having tried them all, coffee just doesn't do it for me. Although I am aware that energy drinks are bad for you, there are days when I just need anything to get me through the workday since I can't take a nap.
While I am aware that energy drinks are bad for you, there are days when I just need anything to get me through the workday since I can't take a nap.
Note: Due to my bipolar disease, I am unable to use stimulants and am currently taking 400 mg of modafinil. I've tried Concerta, Focalin, and Vyvanse, and each one of them caused hospitalisation due to manic or psychotic episodes.

Red spots over hands, chest
Should I be worried for these small little red dots? I have some also on my chest and stomach. I am also a bit anemic, if that could be related.. On the second picture, I think that they quite grew, at first they were barely noticeable. thanks!

2024.05.17 12:16 NoniTheUnicorn 23F - What is happening to the vision in my left eye? tingling? numbness?

General background information: 23F, no pre-existing health conditions that I know of in myself or family, healthy BMI, sedentary lifestyle, 9-5 office job, quit smoking and drinking 1 year ago. The only medication I take is for ADHD.
I used to wear glasses (-4.00 with -1.25 astigmatism) and had Lasik in December 2023, which was successful. A few months later, in March-April my eyes were checked by the optometrist and vision was perfect in my right eye and almost just as good in my left. Starting May (~ May 1st), my left eye became increasingly blurry, and this week (may 13th) I noticed I could not see enough to read with it. initially though it was vision fluctuation from lasik recovery or some dryness, but then this was combined with the following events: (emphasize that the right side of my face and my right eye have been- and continue to be- fine, as well as both sides of my body).
  1. May 13: sharp pain on the left side of my nose bridge, connecting to the tail of my left eyebrow., but felt only when squinting or scrunching my nose. If I kept a straight face, I did not feel pain.
  2. May 14: woke up with no more pain on the side of my nose, but my upper left eyelid was slightly swollen and slightly red (no discharge or pain). I took a picture and sent it to my GP, who prescribed me Chloramphenicol eye ointment (1x per day before bed). I could not get it delivered in the same day, so I just washed my face with the same soap and water as always and went to bed.
  3. May 15: My eye was still swollen but not as much. the Chloramphenicol was delivered and I applied it once in the evening as indicated by my GP.
  4. May 16: Left eye is still just as blurry but not swollen or red. While I was at work, ~11:00am I had a sudden feeling of tingling and numbness on the left side of my face surrounding my eye (cheek and forehead). The vision in my eye was not worse than it had already been, but this sudden tingle and numbness scared me (I can compare it to the numbing cream they apply when you get a tattoo, because I still had some feeling). I was also able to move my face muscles just fine and had no drooping. I urgently went to my GP, which sent me to the optometrist, who saw ?something? in a deep layer of my cornea (he indicated towards a possible viral infection?) that alarmed him enough to say I needed to go to the hospital ASAP to get checked there. At the hospital, 3 doctors and 2 interns later, I was told that they do not know what it is, and that it does not look like an infection, but it could be a sort of herpes. They also say they have no idea about the numbness in my face and cannot explain that, and they care about the eye. They didn't want to check with neurology either. I was now given an eye ointment 5x per day and told to come back in 1 week (ACICLOVIR EU-P 30mg/g).
  5. (today) May 17: The movement in my face is still not affected, and the numbness subsided (maybe still 5% still numb, around my forehead). I got to apply the eye ointment 2 times yesterday until I got to bed and 2 more times today (still early morning here in Europe, got 3 more times to go). After each time I apply the eye ointment, I notice that my vision is getting more blurry and 'frosty' and not returning. Not sure if It is normal because of how thick the ointment is, or if I should raise alarm bells to go to the hospital today.
When I felt the tingling and numbness in my face (may 16) I panicked because I was afraid of it being a sign of a stroke. My GP laughed and told me that I am not 80 years old so I must be exaggerating. I asked if there was any way I could check whether I had one, but he said there were no tests I could do. My vision is getting worse after this ointment and no one could explain to me the numbness. Although that numbness mostly went away, what is happening to me? what can I do?

2024.05.17 12:05 BigBootyBear Do we have a clear distinction Disorder and Syndrome?

From Stedmans
syn-drome. ...The aggregate of symptoms and signs associated with any morbid process, together constituting the picture of the disease.
Going alone only by this criteria, technically this definition applies both to disease and disorder. The definition of "Disease" specifies an additional criteria (i.e. presence of a biomarker detectable in the morphology of the patient) and "Disorder" specifies it's inverse (i.e. absence of a clear biomarker in spite of disordered functioning).
But that still leaves an overlap between syndrome and disorder. When I converse with physicians about the reasoning between what makes a pathology a syndrome as opposed to a disorder, my way of contrasting syndrome against disorder is by saying it's a set of mutually inclusive signs and symptoms, with no particular rigidity about the nature of their combination (except maybe greater prevalence of symptom cluster A over B).
I rarely get an agreement about my interpretation, yet neither also an alternative explanation that is satisfactory (tbh half don't even seem to care about that degree of pedantry).

2024.05.17 11:38 Traditional_Ground33 Canon sure shot 60 zoom mid-roll rewind problem

Canon sure shot 60 zoom mid-roll rewind problem
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a p&s from eBay (Canon sure shot 60 zoom). I used a Kodak gold 200 film and at frame 15 (mid-way point) the camera started to rewind and all the film went into the canister. I went to a developing shop and the guy at the desk helped me get the film out but he did mention that I could save the first 15 frames by going into a dark room and shooting past frame 15 (I did this and most of my pics still got double exposed 😭).
I guess my question is for you folk who use a similar p&s - Is this an issue any else has come across? I’ve seen some Reddit posts talk about the motor wearing out over the years and causing resistance mid-roll to trick the camera into thinking the roll has completed. I am going on holiday soon so this issue is pretty annoying considering the mid-roll could happen each time.
One other thing I noticed - I looked for the manual of the camera online and on page 76 under specifications it mentions that mid-roll rewind is possible, so could this be a fault with all of the canon sure shots? (see image attached above)
And is it maybe possible to get the automatic rewind feature overridden so it’s only done manually? There is a rewind feature so not sure if any camera techs could give their insights if this is possible. Thanks :)

2024.05.17 11:24 AttorneyInfamous1792 Chronic hives, HELP

Hello everyone, I have had chronic urticaria for 6 months. It most often appears on the same parts of my body and disappears within 20-30 minutes. It also happens that I can literally write on the skin and I read that this condition is called dermography. Whatever my skin touches, I get those red dots/flecks, literally whatever my skin touches! Sometimes it happens that I also get redness on my neck and décolleté from sweating... The dermatologist recommended an ANA test to detect autoimmune diseases, but I'm still waiting for the results. Cramps in the intestines, which I did not normally have, also began to occur. It is important to mention that I have had E. Coli for a couple of years, which I cannot "kick out" from my body, and that I used to have constipation and now I have constant pain in the intestines and regular stools, as well as high blood pressure. I don't know what is happening to me, please help!!!

2024.05.17 11:08 MysteriousWinner1572 Irritated lump at the bottom of my breast is it cancer??

Hello everyone. (22F) I’m usually very aware of things on my body i check everything very often but 2 days ago I discovered something I haven’t noticed before. It’s a lump bellow my left breast it’s almost on my ribs. It feels a bit larger than a skittle and more oval. It’s also red on the outside and and has a tiny dark dot that almost resembles a black head but of course isn’t one. It hurts a bit when i touch it and the rest of my breast hurts too but a lot less. I know i should see a doctor but i can’t at the moment and I’m hoping that by providing a picture someone can reassure me it’s not anything just by the look of it. I also have anxiety and it’s been getting in the way of doing things. Thank you.

2024.05.17 10:23 Obieshaw Chromecast issue

This is so annoying
So with Chromecast you can click on a video and the options for play or add to queue pop up. This made creating a playlist on the go so much easier.
Now the second I click on a video it plays it. But it also plays said video in a shuffle of my entire watch later playlist. Even if the video itself wasn't even apart of said list to begin with.
Now, if I click the 3 dots on the side I can still addd to queue the normal way. Only millisecond my finger touches another video I get sent to some random spot in my watch later playlist again.
To paint a picture I'll be spending upwards of 20 minutes sorting through videos and creating a playlist, then when I'm finally close to finish I'll accidently tap a video, completely deleting my playlist I was working on and for some reason opening up an entire new one.
I read someone that a year ago someone was dealing with something similar, they said it was on purpose so YouTube could promote YouTube red
I don't know if I buy into that, but I would be very interested in any solution or at least reason my Chromecast would work fine s few hours ago and just not function the same now.

2024.05.17 10:20 Euphoric-Seaweed Wow, they finally added the missing picture for 10k Piñata Party coins

The largest coin reward of the Piñata Parties is 5,000 coins (1% probability to get it) - or 10,000 coins during events when the coin reward is doubled (like now, or during a Leap Day event). Problem is, the image for the 10k reward was missing (or incorrectly addressed) and instead the game showed a red "X" and a Gargantuar.
This bug has been in the game since forever. Practically during every Birthdayz event somebody would luck out, would get the largest coin reward, and would post here the picture of the missing image.
Well, I just noticed that this bug has finally been fixed! I don't know when exactly but it is fixed in at least version 11.2.1:

2024.05.17 10:19 SweetPotato_Salad A TSH of 5.8 was enough to mess up my blood count

For context I'm 21. What happened was I tested positive for the hashish antibodies with a TSH of 8.5 at the time. My T4 was normal, which appariently meant I shouldn't be having any overt symptoms. I know now that's a load of horse shit. They didn't medicate me despite the fact I said I was having symptoms.
Cut to a year later, I started getting inexplicably sick and my blood count (red cell count, heameglobin and white cells) was dropping across the board. They had no explanation for it other than a nasty virus they couldn't identify, but after 2 months my blood count wasn't rising, so they decided to start medicating me with Levothyroxine. Thank god, my blood count started rising and is now back to normal, and even now isn't as high as it was before (almost a year later).
It's interesting because I didn't think my levels would be anywhere close to being able to influence such a vital part of my health, literally slowing down my bone marrow. It's crazy how something so drastic had to happen for me to be medicated. It wasn't until my levels became normal how bad I realised I was pre-medication.
When a disease creeps up on you over a course of years, especially as you're transitioning into adulthood, it's SO hard to know what "normal" should be.

2024.05.17 10:07 VonBagel Killer Concept: The Glutton

Killer Concept: The Glutton
https://preview.redd.it/49v4jufajw0d1.png?width=734&format=png&auto=webp&s=773f465d2fb6d18bb0a80ae82dc122a9b2b447cf
The source of the pic is here! It's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's certainly close enough to give people a rough idea. In my mind, the Glutton's mouth splits it all the way down vertically, opening into a tooth-filled cavity. Between the gums and lips of this mouth, horrid multi-jointed arms slide out to grab things and yank them into the grinding maw. The more I've stared at this picture, the more I've grown to like the cleaver as a weapon; it's cliche, but it's cliche for a reason, dammit, it WORKS! And the Glutton's left arm is a grotesque bone-hook.
... Hm. Y'know, sometimes, you have to look deep inside yourself and wonder what your fucking problem is. This will be the third killer I've made that's themed around eating survivors, but only the second I've actually posted to this sub. I should cut back on it before anyone starts making jokes, but I think being eaten (mostly) alive is one of the worst fates that can befall someone, so I like using it as horror.
This is also another of my attempts at making a killer which could have a difficulty rating of "Easy," something I've found to legitimately be more challenging than making a killer with a complex, Singularity-length kit, likely owing to how verbose I get and how much I enjoy precise numbers. I LIKE complex ideas, I like pushing boundaries of what's possible in the game, and every new killer that gets released which does exactly that (Vecna's spell wheel is making my head spin with possibility) causes new ideas to course through me. So, have a guy who does two things: eat pallets, and eat people.
115% speed, 32 meter terror radius, Tall height (Nemesis height)
--Power: Great Maw. The Glutton's power starts the trial at 0 charges. It gains 1 charge passively every 8 seconds, 2 charges per second while in chase, 10 charges when it breaks an pallet or wall, and 20 if it hits a survivor with its basic attack. Upon amassing 60 charges, the Glutton's maw splits its body with a loud audio cue as it begins to slaver and growl, signifying to everyone that the power is fully charged. While the Great Maw is charged, the Glutton's hand-mouths will reach from its torso towards whatever survivor it's in chase with; this is purely cosmetic and cannot be seen from the killer's POV.
Holding the ability button causes the Glutton to raise its hook-arm into the air and widen its maw, during which it's slowed by 10%. Releasing the button causes the Glutton to briefly stand in place and lash its hook-arm 8m directly in front of it. This hook can hit over obstacles and shorter terrain pieces, and can target survivors on different elevations if aimed up or down. If the hook impacts a healthy survivor, that survivor is injured and pulled 2m closer to the killer, and Great Maw loses 20 charges as the Glutton is briefly slowed, licking the blood off the hook over 2.5 seconds. If the hook impacts a breakable wall or dropped pallet, the impediment is pulled into the maw and devoured over the course of a 1.8 second animation, and Great Maw loses 10 charges. If the hook misses or hits terrain, Great Maw loses 15 charges.
If the hook impacts an injured survivor, the injured survivor is pulled through all intervening obstacles and into the Great Maw and entrapped. An entrapped survivor is held within the killer's stomach, battered by the hazards within as their sacrificial meter ticks down, potentially killing them if they can't get out. While a survivor is entrapped, the Maw cannot gain charges, and its charges begin to drain at a rate of 1/s, and when the charges reach 0, the survivor pulls themselves from the maw and escapes, an action which briefly stuns the Glutton and causes it to lose all collision for 5 seconds. A survivor escaping the Maw gains all the benefits of being freed from a hook. Survivors can accelerate the speed they escape the terrible situation by fighting back out, which involves a sequence of directional inputs akin to disabling Skull Merchant's drones. Each correct input they put in drains charges, but missing them adds charges, potentially trapping them for even longer--maybe even enough to progress to the next hook stage! Other survivors can also accelerate how quickly their trapped ally escapes the Maw; just being nearby helps, but blinding it and especially stunning it helps even more.
A survivor who reaches their third and final sacrificial stage while in the Maw, or if they are pulled in when they are on their final hook state, is treated to a special mori and perishes, and the Maw's charges fully refresh. If a survivor is reduced to the dying state while the Maw is available to use, the Glutton may entrap the survivor without needing to hit them with
--BORING NUMBERS/DETAILS: Each successful input when fighting back out reduces the Maw's charge by 1 (for a total of 5 per successful string), but failing an input causes the string to turn red and vanish, adding 2 charges to the Maw per input remaining (so missing the first input adds 8 charges, but missing the last input only adds 2), potentially trapping the survivor even longer. A new string appears 1.5 seconds after the last one vanishes, or 3 seconds if an input was missed, and they remain onscreen for 5 seconds before vanishing. Any inputs not put in by the time the string vanishes count as being missed. A survivor who allows 3 strings to vanish without making any input attempts automatically progresses to the next hook stage.
Every survivor within 8m of the Glutton while it holds a survivor in the Maw causes the Maw to lose 1 additional charge a second. If the Glutton is blinded, it loses 5 charges immediately plus 1 extra charge per second it's blind. If the Glutton is stunned, it loses 20 charges.
If the Glutton is not in chase, the aura of an entrapped survivor is periodically revealed to other survivors (every ~15 seconds) and is accompanied by a short directional audio cue, so survivors have a rough idea of where the Glutton is and where they need to go to rescue their ally. This prevents the Glutton from gobbling up a survivor and then sneaking off somewhere with stealth perks to make sure they remain trapped as long as possible.
ADD-ONS
COMMON
  1. Finger Food: Great Maw loses 3 fewer charges whenever the hook is thrown out, regardless of the result.
  2. Gristle and Grime: Great Maw's passive charge is increased by 0.3.
  3. Insulting Offering: The Glutton's terror radius is reduced by 8 meters while Great Maw is fully charged.
  4. Handful of Offal: Great Maw's passive charge gain occurs 1 second sooner.
UNCOMMON
  1. Shredded Rags: Great Maw gains 10 charges if the Glutton kicks a generator.
  2. Befouled Cloth Clump: The cooldown for the Glutton's missed basic attacks is reduced by 20% when Great Maw is fully charged.
  3. Moldy Morsel: Great Maw's passive charge is increased by 0.6
  4. Unified Screams: Increase the Glutton's terror radius by 10 meters while a survivor is entrapped.
  5. Bloodstained Wood: Great Maw gains 5 additional charges when breaking pallets and walls.
RARE
  1. Salt: Great Maw gains 5 additional charges when damaging a survivor with a basic attack.
  2. Appalling Appetizer: Survivors within the Glutton's terror radius while it has a survivor entrapped have no skill check warning.
  3. Corroded Bones: Survivors missing inputs while fighting back out recharges Great Maw by 0.2 charges per miss.
  4. Blood Barrels: The Glutton recovers from hitting a survivor with its hook 0.5 seconds faster. Breakable walls are devoured by the Great Maw 0.8 seconds faster.
  5. Offal Bucket: Great Maw's passive charge gain occurs 2 seconds sooner.
VERY RARE
  1. Barbed Bones: The bone hook inflicts hemorrhage on survivors it damages, and survivors are pulled 1.5m closer to the Glutton when hit by it.
  2. Branching Bones: Slightly widens the bone hook projectile horizontally.
  3. Choice Cuts: Damaging a survivor with a basic attack while another survivor is entrapped grants Great Maw 5 charges. Hooking a survivor while another survivor is entrapped grants Great Maw 15 charges.
  4. Bolus of Keepsakes: Each time you entrap a survivor in the Maw for the first time in a trial, this add-on gains a token, to a maximum of 4. Gain a stacking 1.5% Haste bonus for each token while not in chase.
IRIDESCENT
  1. Iridescent Bone Spear: Visibly changes the Glutton's hook to a spear, which slightly narrows its hitbox. Great Maw now requires 100 charges to become fully active. A survivor struck by the spear is pulled into the Maw and entrapped automatically, even if they were healthy.
  2. Dreams of a Banquet: The Glutton has a 10% Haste bonus while not in chase while the Great Maw is fully charged.
PERKS
Hungry for More: There's still more blood to spill, and you know exactly how to get it. After reducing a survivor to the dying state with a basic attack, you see the auras of any healthy survivors in your terror radius for 4 seconds. Then, Hungry for More goes on cooldown for 30 seconds.
Blood in the Air: With the smallest taste of it, you can smell it all around you. After injuring a survivor through any means, Blood in the Air becomes active for 12 seconds. During this time, you see the auras of all bloodstains in your terror radius. Then, BitA goes on cooldown for 30 seconds.
Hex: Chop Chop: Your metal can wait. There's meat to prepare. Each time you hook a survivor, a dull totem on the map ignites into a Hex Totem. Each Hex Totem curses one specific generator on the map that has not yet been completed. So long as the curse remains in place, the cursed generator has a 30% repair speed penalty. Any survivor who works on a cursed generator for 6 continuous seconds can see the location of the Hex Totem cursing it. In addition to cleansing the totem to end the curse, completing the cursed generator shatters the Hex Totem completely.
it's 4AM. I'll write up his moris in the replies tomorrow.

2024.05.17 10:03 Miserable_Corner_879 After my perfectly reasonable and non-offensive post was deleted without explanation - without stating what exact rule it broke - in the r/Gangstalking "community" I decided to open this page immediately

The question I asked in the deleted post is "who are the people who are stalking you" with a few additional questions so that we all get a broader and clearer picture of what is actually happening to us since it is redundant to say that the situation is extremely serious for us. I only started writing on reddit a few weeks ago for the first time in my life and it immediately became clear to me that this platform is extremely controlled, and that all the communities in which I tried to write are burdened with a large number of rules that serve to suppress in the first place freedom of speech and not to maintain order. All those moderators and robot moderators are constantly deleting and removing people from those groups. There, it is not only impossible to connect with others who are in a similar situation that threatens their life, but it is also impossible to:
  1. leave comments; due to the high criteria set by some communities, such as EscapingPrisonPlanet where newbies and all those with no more than 30 karma are automatically deleted. I really don't know what's in the head of someone who sets such a rule and that in a subreddit of that name that deals with the topics he already deals with, and attracts people who don't have many choices and places to write. That rule prevents newcomers from writing with people they share a lot in common with. And I emphasize, someone would register only because he wants to write in that community and no other. He may have to communicate something of great importance in just one or two posts, and because of their rule he is completely prevented from doing so. How does that serve everyone?
  2. ask the right questions and write the truth in posts; which, even if they are not deleted and allowed to pass censorship, they deliberately do not allow them to be upvoted, moreover, it is strange how many posts have 0 upvotes and often have quite a number of comments.
As for those upvotes, in my case, literally every comment I leave as soon as it's posted shows 1 upvote colored red in the space around the number itself, which means that I upvoted it, that I voted for myself, even though I didn't. Someone else does that. I noticed that they are messing with the number of votes that we don't get from others and it became clear to me already at the beginning that I will never reach the 30 karmas needed to write on EscapingPrisonPlanet. All this is so much bullshit and STUPIDITY that a person is so disgusted at the very beginning that he feels like disconnecting himself from everything, i.e. from reddit.
I'm not going to bother and waste my time and nerves on something if the rules aren't fair and the same for everyone. That's why I don't plan to actively participate only with myself in this community. Just yesterday I saw the profile of a redditor who was gangstalked and started his own community where he left a really large number of very thoughtful and quality posts. All and one post contains 0 likes and 0 comments. Ok, 3% of posts contain 1 or 2 comments. And it has 44 members. Anyway, to wrap things up for now, I'll post the original post that was deleted on Gangstalking soon.
