It was Saturday—no, a Sunday—that begat my fear. The fear of the unexpected, the quiet, even grotesque truth in the trees. I am both happy and disturbed—perhaps even disgusted—that I am alive today.
You see, I’m a musician, one who prefers more sophisticated music. But on this day, I was just going for a stroll. Whenever I hear music, I am entranced. It has been that way since I was a babe.
Beware, lest you make the same mistake! Behind the tree line, as the leaves begin to blot out the sun and the woodland creatures begin to peer at you queerly, you must be careful. Quiet, even. Perhaps you should heed the advice and never be there at all.
There was this tune, a silly little tune, but my ears were in love and my heart was curious. “Was this a woman? Perhaps a soulmate?” I thought to myself. How embarrassed I am to recall.
I followed this tune, the type that makes you want to dance. But as I got closer, my skin began to crawl, the hairs on my neck stood, and I began to feel I should turn back. But you see, I am a man of logic! A man of science! What ridiculous thing could I be scared of but my own imagination?
The air was moist and smelled of the berries that grew here. The wind blew the leaves in a rhythmic fashion. “Why, it’s following the tune itself!” For a moment, I thought. Yet, I shook the feeling again. The bushes shook with both wind and the scampering of little creatures of all types. A fox crawled from a rabbit hole and scurried into the thicket. Even the birds stopped singing to listen to the tune.
I found myself feeling dizzy, certainly due to exhaustion or dehydration. I was never good about drinking enough water. That’s how I rationalized the spell that had already been placed upon me.
No, I drew closer, and my heart tried to run the other way, a tug of war for the soul. Always listen to your soul, for I did not. I could see that there was a clearing ahead. As I approached, my eye caught some toadstools, and as I looked around, I noticed the fungal friends surrounded me in but a circle! I laughed to myself; coincidences have always entertained me.
I continued to the clearing. Once I arrived, my heart jumped to my throat, my eyes watered and dried, my blood turned to tar.
It was against nature, the laws that man had set into place. It was an abomination. I immediately questioned myself, the sciences, the stars, even God. There was an atrocity before my eyes, and I knew not what to do. The dances they made were inhuman, but that is due to them being far from human. Something familiar yet at this moment alien.
I knew better than to scream. I fought not to faint, and the urge to vomit! When you see the unknowable, the unthinkable, things that seem simple in thought until you encounter them in life. I stopped myself from doing these ridiculous things as these… things. I don’t want to call them rabbits or hares. “They are but demons in disguise,” I told myself. It was more comforting to me than the tribe of… long-eared creatures I saw. Yes, just demons. They danced around a fire, playing an instrument made from the flesh of creatures, which appeared to me alien, though it may have been but an amalgamation. Their pipes blew, and the fire danced.
These would-be cute rabbits created an instinctual fear within me. Flight, fight, or freeze, my adrenaline told me. Certainly, I was not going to fight, and the urge to flee would not come. Commanding each individual muscle fiber to move, I began to retreat, keeping my eyes on the horrific sight.
That’s when I saw her. A woman, a human woman, being brought toward the fire on a spit! They intended to cook her as rotisserie! They had rubbed her in oil and coated her in seasoning. She wailed. She screamed, then her eyes caught me. I knew that was it. “HELP ME, OH LORD, HELP ME, JESUS CHRIST, DON’T LET ME DIE!” My poor woman. I am a weak man! All of the creatures, these rabbitmen, turned to me, their eyes void of soul. My heart stopped. That woman was not my problem. I turned to run, and run I did, directly into two large rabbitmen. They began to shush me, one beat me with a club over the head. Blood trickled over my eyes as I fought to get away. One of the goblins tackled me to the ground.
Herbivores? No. Carnivorous demons they are! I scrambled, I bit and twisted. You see, I’m very slippery. I wrestled myself free, fighting to ignore my concussed head. It may have been at this point that I soiled myself. They all came at me, leaving the woman behind. She gnawed her ropes until they broke and looked at me. There was sorrow in her eyes, maybe a hint of conflicting thoughts, but truly, she felt she had championed! The fiend herself!
I fought to get away. I knew not what to do! I would not have made for good food! I was not porcine or mutton! I kicked and bit, and that’s when the instrument landed next to me. Why, it was a woodwind, a reed made of beasts’ teeth. I grabbed the instrument and began to play. It came naturally to me. They all stopped. Their soulless eyes staring into mine. I continued to play my song, a song of fear, of passion, and to my surprise, they began to dance! My gut was correct; always trust your gut, my friends.
I played a merry tune, and the creatures were lost in the sound. They danced, perhaps saw me as one of them, they grabbed each other and twirled and hopped. They chittered happily, a disgusting language. I slowly backed away, playing louder as I did so they would not notice. That’s when I threw the instrument and ran! Oh, how I ran! I just knew they would catch me! I left the clearing, stepped through the toadstools, and ran! I did not stop; no, I experienced an endurance I knew not possible! My feet were faster than my body as I leaned back a bit! Finally, I was out of the tree line. I turned to see I had not been followed.
When I try to sleep, I remember. I told myself it was a bad dream, a hallucination, but the knot on my head and the vomiting told me I was concussed. Had I fallen? Did I forget? Is that what caused the dream?
No, it was real, and that terrified me more than the experience itself. What is out there? What else will mankind never know? I sat at my easel, for I knew I may forget, maybe due to some magic, which I’d never believed before. I painted a piece that many found ridiculous! I never told them it was true! But I did tell them of a great place to think behind the tree line.

I've only sold three bouquets this week. I posted on my nextdoor and ordered a couple of yard signs. People always comment on my gardens so I thought the signs were a good idea. Farmers market is not an option for me as there are a couple of huge outfits there that sell mixed local and imported at an extremely cheap price. They probably do 500 a weekend. I'm more like able to turn out 10 to 15 on a good week, I don't have much space. I work at a country club, so I'm considering supplying the clubhouse desk and tennis shop a bouquet a week on exchange for having a little card or something with them. They are extremely fancy however and may not want it known that they have flowers out of someone's yard. It's that kind of place... Eh, I'll keep trucking along! My flowers do rule.

IF you’re able to sell at all. Plus, you want to be able to leave on your own terms, not because of economic hardships or health reasons or plain old burnout.
We’ll start with the basics. The 9 steps to selling your business. We’ll run through all 9 steps pretty quickly, then dive into each of them a bit more. On a couple of them we may go deep; even do some public math.

The vacation to make up for all the vacations you’ve passed up on as you poured your blood, sweat and tears into your business.
The golf club membership so you can play every. single. day.
And of course, easy money for your day-to-day living expenses.
You start to do the math...
“That probably adds up to about $2,000,000, so that’s what I’ll sell my business for. Not a penny less,” you’re thinking. “I missed half of my kids’ birthday parties and most of their ball games. (At least it got me out of those horrid musicals.) But I’m not missing out this time! I’ll sell my business for $2,000,000, maybe a hair more. Get me a broker and line up the buyers!” as you greedily rub your hands together.
Wake up! You’re dreaming!
This is a common, but inaccurate valuation method I’ve seen too many times. Known as Pie in the Sky. Also referred to as the Your Full of Shit Business Valuation Method.
Or look at it from your buyer’s perspective. Are they going to be wondering, how the hell did you come up with that price?
Valuation doesn’t work this way. Your business does have value, hopefully a ton of value, but it requires some math and a little logic.
The first step to selling your business is to determine a true value based on the numbers.

When I bought my tax practice, it was all seller financing, so was the deal I made with my partner when I bought him out. We sold the pizza pub on 100% seller financing as well.
Tell the story of how your grandpa started this business when he first came to the States. And how your dad took it to the next level and all the growth it’s enjoyed under your leadership.
Or how you pivoted during the pandemic and found even better ways to serve your clients. Talk about how most of your original team is still with you and the ways you’ve supported your community through different projects.

Most people don't give this nearly as much thought as they should. Especially if your business is relationship based, you'll want to determine how you interact with your clients after the sale.- How long are you willing to help your buyer?
- What tasks are you willing to do?
- Do you need additional compensation for this?
- What items do you insist on doing?
Step SIX: MAKE A LIST OF POTENTIAL BUYERS
Take an active role in your sale. Think of all the people and businesses you interact with during the course of a day. They could all be potential buyers.- Employees
- Suppliers
- Customers
- Competitors
- Compatible businesses
Step SEVEN: ASSEMBLE DEAL TEAM
Even an avid DIYer should not attempt to sell their business alone. An experienced deal team will work to protect your interests while still preserving the deal.- Attorney

Step EIGHT: SELF-LIST ONLINE
Just like we have Zillow for real estate, there are several internet sites that allow you to list your own business for sale. They include: Openfair, Bizbuysell, and Bizquest among others.- Anyone can list their business on these sites
- No broker required
- Can use a third party if anonymity is required (attorney, accountant, BFF)
- Post your business book report
Step NINE:
INCREASE THE VALUE OF YOUR BUSINESSTake strategic steps to increase the value of your business.
I know you are always looking for ways to improve, but now is the time to get serious. Kick it into high gear and make this sale count. It may take some time and effort, but selling your business is not a speedy process.
Ideally, you always keep the possibility of a future sale in mind and build toward that end.

- Increase prices
- Hire missing staff
- Improve profitability
- Automate
This probably doesn’t appear to need much explanation, but exiting entrepreneurs struggle here more than you may think. If I had to guess, I would say much of your identity is tied up in your business, and that’s natural. But you may find a hole in your life and even your soul once your business is gone. It was Saturday—no, a Sunday—that begat my fear. The fear of the unexpected, the quiet, even grotesque truth in the trees. I am both happy and disturbed—perhaps even disgusted—that I am alive today.
You see, I’m a musician, one who prefers more sophisticated music. But on this day, I was just going for a stroll. Whenever I hear music, I am entranced. It has been that way since I was a babe.
Beware, lest you make the same mistake! Behind the tree line, as the leaves begin to blot out the sun and the woodland creatures begin to peer at you queerly, you must be careful. Quiet, even. Perhaps you should heed the advice and never be there at all.
There was this tune, a silly little tune, but my ears were in love and my heart was curious. “Was this a woman? Perhaps a soulmate?” I thought to myself. How embarrassed I am to recall.
I followed this tune, the type that makes you want to dance. But as I got closer, my skin began to crawl, the hairs on my neck stood, and I began to feel I should turn back. But you see, I am a man of logic! A man of science! What ridiculous thing could I be scared of but my own imagination?
The air was moist and smelled of the berries that grew here. The wind blew the leaves in a rhythmic fashion. “Why, it’s following the tune itself!” For a moment, I thought. Yet, I shook the feeling again. The bushes shook with both wind and the scampering of little creatures of all types. A fox crawled from a rabbit hole and scurried into the thicket. Even the birds stopped singing to listen to the tune.
I found myself feeling dizzy, certainly due to exhaustion or dehydration. I was never good about drinking enough water. That’s how I rationalized the spell that had already been placed upon me.
No, I drew closer, and my heart tried to run the other way, a tug of war for the soul. Always listen to your soul, for I did not. I could see that there was a clearing ahead. As I approached, my eye caught some toadstools, and as I looked around, I noticed the fungal friends surrounded me in but a circle! I laughed to myself; coincidences have always entertained me.
I continued to the clearing. Once I arrived, my heart jumped to my throat, my eyes watered and dried, my blood turned to tar.
It was against nature, the laws that man had set into place. It was an abomination. I immediately questioned myself, the sciences, the stars, even God. There was an atrocity before my eyes, and I knew not what to do. The dances they made were inhuman, but that is due to them being far from human. Something familiar yet at this moment alien.
I knew better than to scream. I fought not to faint, and the urge to vomit! When you see the unknowable, the unthinkable, things that seem simple in thought until you encounter them in life. I stopped myself from doing these ridiculous things as these… things. I don’t want to call them rabbits or hares. “They are but demons in disguise,” I told myself. It was more comforting to me than the tribe of… long-eared creatures I saw. Yes, just demons. They danced around a fire, playing an instrument made from the flesh of creatures, which appeared to me alien, though it may have been but an amalgamation. Their pipes blew, and the fire danced.
These would-be cute rabbits created an instinctual fear within me. Flight, fight, or freeze, my adrenaline told me. Certainly, I was not going to fight, and the urge to flee would not come. Commanding each individual muscle fiber to move, I began to retreat, keeping my eyes on the horrific sight.
That’s when I saw her. A woman, a human woman, being brought toward the fire on a spit! They intended to cook her as rotisserie! They had rubbed her in oil and coated her in seasoning. She wailed. She screamed, then her eyes caught me. I knew that was it. “HELP ME, OH LORD, HELP ME, JESUS CHRIST, DON’T LET ME DIE!” My poor woman. I am a weak man! All of the creatures, these rabbitmen, turned to me, their eyes void of soul. My heart stopped. That woman was not my problem. I turned to run, and run I did, directly into two large rabbitmen. They began to shush me, one beat me with a club over the head. Blood trickled over my eyes as I fought to get away. One of the goblins tackled me to the ground.
Herbivores? No. Carnivorous demons they are! I scrambled, I bit and twisted. You see, I’m very slippery. I wrestled myself free, fighting to ignore my concussed head. It may have been at this point that I soiled myself. They all came at me, leaving the woman behind. She gnawed her ropes until they broke and looked at me. There was sorrow in her eyes, maybe a hint of conflicting thoughts, but truly, she felt she had championed! The fiend herself!
I fought to get away. I knew not what to do! I would not have made for good food! I was not porcine or mutton! I kicked and bit, and that’s when the instrument landed next to me. Why, it was a woodwind, a reed made of beasts’ teeth. I grabbed the instrument and began to play. It came naturally to me. They all stopped. Their soulless eyes staring into mine. I continued to play my song, a song of fear, of passion, and to my surprise, they began to dance! My gut was correct; always trust your gut, my friends.
I played a merry tune, and the creatures were lost in the sound. They danced, perhaps saw me as one of them, they grabbed each other and twirled and hopped. They chittered happily, a disgusting language. I slowly backed away, playing louder as I did so they would not notice. That’s when I threw the instrument and ran! Oh, how I ran! I just knew they would catch me! I left the clearing, stepped through the toadstools, and ran! I did not stop; no, I experienced an endurance I knew not possible! My feet were faster than my body as I leaned back a bit! Finally, I was out of the tree line. I turned to see I had not been followed.
When I try to sleep, I remember. I told myself it was a bad dream, a hallucination, but the knot on my head and the vomiting told me I was concussed. Had I fallen? Did I forget? Is that what caused the dream?
No, it was real, and that terrified me more than the experience itself. What is out there? What else will mankind never know? I sat at my easel, for I knew I may forget, maybe due to some magic, which I’d never believed before. I painted a piece that many found ridiculous! I never told them it was true! But I did tell them of a great place to think behind the tree line.

2024.05.02 19:54 mr_cesar [SPOILER] Game mechanism about the Elder confirmed.
Even though this game is four years old since its initial release on PlayStation 4, there's a good number of people still playing it, and the Elder question is something that pops up around here every once in a while (or a post sharing the bad news). I myself just started playing it a little over a couple of months ago when it was released on the Apple platform.
So during my first playthrough I neglected the Elder as I didn't mull over options to make delivering orders to him easy. Needless to say, many hours later when I decided to go pay him a visit, I was welcomed by his BT. Really nothing to do, so better luck next time.
Now that I'm on my second playthrough, one of the challenges I set for myself was to keep him alive for the entirety of the run — I'm playing offline and taking it really slow, 150+ hours and just reached the Geologist. However, I got a little excited exploring without BB after the WWII battle, so it took me a little longer than usual to go visit him... and there he was again, freaking BT. Ok, no big deal; loaded a previous save and he was back, I just lost a couple of gameplay hours.
So this time I decided to do a little search to see what people have found out about the mechanism that causes the Elder to kick the bucket, and I ran into this post which states the Elder will die if you deliver 100 orders before delivering to him.

After unlocking the Zip-lines, I found any of the two orders from the Distribution Center South of Lake Know City to be the best option as you can do a Fragile Jump to said location. These are my personal preferences, of course; any order you take will really do.

So during my first playthrough I neglected the Elder as I didn't mull over options to make delivering orders to him easy. Needless to say, many hours later when I decided to go pay him a visit, I was welcomed by his BT. Really nothing to do, so better luck next time.
Now that I'm on my second playthrough, one of the challenges I set for myself was to keep him alive for the entirety of the run — I'm playing offline and taking it really slow, 150+ hours and just reached the Geologist. However, I got a little excited exploring without BB after the WWII battle, so it took me a little longer than usual to go visit him... and there he was again, freaking BT. Ok, no big deal; loaded a previous save and he was back, I just lost a couple of gameplay hours.
So this time I decided to do a little search to see what people have found out about the mechanism that causes the Elder to kick the bucket, and I ran into this post which states the Elder will die if you deliver 100 orders before delivering to him.

And YES, the game keeps count of the number of deliveries you make after your latest delivery to the Elder, and if this number reaches 100, he dies. Simple as that.
So after I made my 99th delivery, I tested a few scenarios and these are the things I can confirm:
- Both Orders for Sam and Standard Orders increase the counter. I kept count of standard deliveries as well as deliveries to advance the story and others, such as an order for Peter Englert.
- The counter is increased when you Deliver Requested Cargo, not when you take the order.
- When counter is not increased when you Deliver Lost Cargo.
- Standard Orders (Bot-deliverable) do not increase the counter. Still, my testing here was limited, so I'd rather assume they do just to stay on the safe side.
- Any Standard Order delivered to the Elder personally resets the counter.
- A Standard Orders (Bot-deliverable) delivered to the Elder either resets the counter or increases the 100 limit. Confirming either requires more testing, which I won't do as keeping a regular count is easy; so, here again, I would recommend not relying on Bot deliveries.

Yesterday was my birthday and I’m really sad that my partner fails to do anything for my birthday. We’ve been together for 16 years, and they have never bought me a birthday present unless I explicitly stated that I wanted something for my birthday. My partner never tries to do any activities or tries to get my group of friends together to celebrate. If we do anything for my birthday, I have to tell them exactly what I want and even then they may not even do anything.
My partners birthday is about two months before mine, and I always try to make his birthday special whether it’s going snowboarding or getting a group of friends together at a bar for a few drinks. I used to ask for a birthday card with a note from them, but I haven’t gotten one in almost 10 years. I really would have been happy with just a fricking card. I don’t really enjoy cake generally, but there is a local bakery that makes delicious cakes and I’ve asked many times that they get me one as a surprise several years in a row, but I’ve only gotten a cake from there once, and I had to keep reminding them to get the cake several times in the weeks leading up to my birthday.
Whenever I get sad because I feel let down by my partners lack of effort in my birthday, all they have to say is that they don’t really care about their birthday and they don’t really know what to do for mine. On one hand, I get where they are coming from, but one another I just feel like shit because my partner can’t even seem to put in any effort into my birthday. It makes me feel really sad that I have communicated what I would like from them on my birthday, and they still don’t do anything.
From my perspective, we have been together for so long and my partner knows me so well. So why can’t they seem to understand I want to feel a little special on my birthday. My baby was due on April 20 and I was able to have a little 'letting go' ceremony with my husband that has helped me mentally move forward. I'm sad that I can't be part of that club even though I've been pregnant three times. A loss is a loss is a loss, whether chosen or not. Just because I don't celebrate doesn't mean I'm infertile or that I didn't want kids. We all have our stories. It feels lonely and I am sad that people in my life don't know my true story. They just know what they see. I am about to embark on the next chapter to get my rainbow baby and I'm scared and overwhelmed. It may not work. It may take awhile. It's going to test my patience and determination and my mental and physical willpower. I will do whatever I have to do to get to my rainbow. I'm still very sad though.

That is why it is written that God "bears with us" and in this way practically gives us the chance to grow slowly and become at least a little "similar" to what our goal is, which is written in Matthew chapter 48:

About a week later, I get a letter from CVS/Caremark stating that if I don’t switch to a 90 day prescription, I will not be covered for 30 day prescription.

- The choice between Help Warren before jumping into Chloe's truck or not. If you help Warren, Max kicks Nathan in the balls and Warren doesn't get a black eye. If you don't help, Warren gets a black eye as was in canon
- If you took Victoria's photo after Chloe proclaims "booyah skank, karma's a bitch" Chloe will ask to keep it because it gives her joy to seeing Victoria brought down to a peg and that Rachel would've loved it.(will add onto this for the other episodes)
- Max will take photo evidence of Nathan vandalizing Max's room and leaving the threatening messages. When Max accuses Nathan at the end of the episode, she presents it to Wells, Wells recognizes the message as Nathan's handwriting and the photo as Nathan's style and this leads to Nathan spending the night in jail.
- Continuing on from Chloe and Victoria's paint photo. We are given the chance to tell Chloe about Kate's situation and let’s say in addition to showing off our powers to Chloe, Max tells Chloe about Kate’s ordeal and Chloe’s just as pissed as Max. Maybe in the Junkyard or on the way back to Blackwell, Chloe will offer Max to mass produce the pictures, post them everywhere at Blackwell and email the picture so she can post it online. She says “let’s call this Kate’s revenge” if you accept this will happen throughout episodes 3-4. -Victoria feels what it’s like to be humiliated and bullied and feels some humility -Everyone in the Vortex Club except Nathan turns on Victoria -Everyone in Blackwell calls her “paintgirl” and some things worse. -Victoria absolutely hates us and when she sends her texts, Max can either apologize or stand her ground and call her out like the bitch she is “karma’s a bitch ain’t it? this is what you made Kate feel. You deserved every bit of it.” -At the party, you can try to make nice and Victoria will learn a lesson that there are consequences for her actions. You can either forgive or condemn Victoria. Whichever you choose, you then choose to warn her or not about Nathan.
- When we choose the “Side with Chloe” option in episode 3, we print out David’s evidence and take pictures of the surveillance footage as proof for Joyce. We talk about it but we don’t show it to Joyce and Joyce automatically sides with Max. I’d also have David snap and attempt to hit Chloe and Joyce stops him and finally puts her foot down with David and shows him the door.
- Max will get to stand up to Chloe. Basically she puts her foot down on Chloe. After Chloe snaps after finding out about Rachel and mocking Kate's suicide attempt/suicide, Max can then lose her shit and stand up to Chloe. Basically says the way she treats her is not okay and if she wants to help her find Rachel and seek justice for Kate, then things are gonna have to change or they are finished. Then Max leaves Chloe behind with Chloe realizing that she needs to change. I just REALLY wanted Max to stand up to Chloe at the end of this episode instead of just letting Max act like a doormat and take her shit.
- Not really a choice, but after the returning from her time jump, Max returns to her dorm and goes to Chloe. Chloe properly apologizes for how she’s been acting since they got back together and agree to put everything in the past so they can work together to find Rachel and give Kate justice. Would've been better than just seeing the apology over text.
- Before we begin our investigation in episode 4. Max calls Joyce and David so everyone could let it all out. It’s basically the therapy that Joyce wanted David and Chloe to go to but didn’t. Chloe calls out David for his abuse for the last 3 years of her life and the fact that he made her feel like a prisoner in her own home and how much the cameras made it worse. Then Chloe calls him out on Rachel. “Rachel was my angel. She was the only good thing that ever happened to me since my dad died and you and the spoiled rich kid took her away from me. Worse. You stalked her like you stalked Kate. And now Rachel is missing. Congrats, David I hope it was fucking worth it.” Then Chloe unloads on Joyce. For all the times she covered for David’s abuse, choosing to either ignore or condone the abuse and for the fact that she’d rather pretend everything was fine. Maybe end it with “I didn’t need a fucking step-father, I needed my mother when I needed her most and your first instinct was to chose the worst fucking man to bring into my life. Fuck both of you.” Maybe after David and Joyce say their piece.(hopefully both of them being remorseful) Max can either choose to tell Chloe to forgive them or “fuck them” basically Max calls out David for his bullying and abusive behavior, Max can call out David. “You saw Frank, who was an adult, perving on Rachel, a high school student, you even had the evidence and you did nothing? Kate needed help and instead of being that help, you treated her like shit” David admits he fucked up with Rachel and wishes he could’ve sent his evidence to the police and Joyce for being a shitty mother. “I used to think you ruled Joyce, but you are a terrible mother. Chloe needed a mother and you failed her.” I don’t know how forgiving them would play out, maybe it would be therapeutic and would result in closure for the Price-Madsen family and they have a chance to start over after Max helps them in that direction. After that. I think Chloe would tell Max. “Max, thank you. I needed to finally let all that shit out.” “You deserved so much better Chloe.” “I got better Max, I got you.” And if you chose forgiveness. “I will still hate them both for how life went for the last 3 years, but I think we can start fresh. Thank you Max.”
- Chloe would enter Kate’s hospital room with Max. We’d see Kate talking with Chloe and we find out that Kate was there for Chloe when Rachel went missing and made Chloe feel a little better, that’s why Chloe said “she’s cool”
- Max can warn Kate about the storm and tell her to leave Arcadia Bay immediately.
- We are given the opportunity to enter a photo for the Everyday Hero Contest. We enter at the last minute as Jefferson would give Max the opportunity. So Max with Kate’s permission, Kate would let Max take a photo of her in the hospital. Which wins the Everyday Hero Contest. Max gives an inspiring speech about how everyone can be a hero and that Kate has always inspired her, how much she loves Kate and that she hopes that Kate knows that she is loved by everyone in Blackwell and everyone would cheer Max on. This would also give Jefferson the means and opportunity to drug Max. It honestly works better than Jefferson magically appearing at the Junkyard with no explanation(and it never being brought up).

Don’t worry, our session is just… getting started." I think Max could’ve helped Nathan in the dark room, to owe her the favor, Nathan would help Max.

Discussion time!! I wanna know what your must have item is for you base and why. It can be anything, be a stupid little inside joke decoration with your friends, or a stupidly overpowered item that you can’t live without. Mine is Birthday Cake!! My character lives on a strict Herbivore diet, so for the past 3 or so years I’ve been exclusively living off of spoiled fruit and veg, contracting dysentery pretty much every time I eat so changing from that to the cake has been an absolute game changer.

6 years ago I was home with my babies making a cake for their joint birthday party the following day. My husband was supposed to be going to dinner with his mom. He came out dressed nice and looked really good. I joked saying “you going on a hot date with your mom”. Little did I know…. It got late and I went to bed. I woke up with my son at 3am and he still was not home. Tried calling his mom, tried calling him because I knew she would not be up that late. Where the hell was he?! I called and called and finally he answered. I heard moaning, him and a female. I put myself on mute, turned on the speaker and listened for a while to be sure I wasn’t imagining anything. Finally I saw red. Red flooded my vision and I started screaming his name over the phone. I realized I was still on mute, I unmuted myself and screamed his name one more time… they heard me. I heard him say “fuck” and the woman say “this was a bad idea” then the phone cut off. I was pissed. He of course denied it, I went to therapy and did EMDR as I could not stop replaying that phone call in my head. We worked on things over the years and he was truly remorseful and really worked on our marriage. I gave him one more chance. Years passed and gradually the truth started coming out. Finally last night the full truth came out. He was with a girl that night, they did make out and touch each other but did not have sex as my phone call ruined it. I do not have any emotional ties to this situation anymore thank God and truthfully it took almost losing us to make him realize what he had done. I know the girl now… let’s see if she has the decency to be remorseful herself.. as she knew he was married with kids. I feel so many emotions but it was so long ago that there really isn’t much to be angry about now. Just disappointed it took this long to get out in the open fully.
