I planned a trip home to see my family who I haven’t seen in three years, I spent thousands on flights, dog sitting, car rental etc. this trip is a huge deal to me, I’m also going to be a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding.
I have gained a lot of weight since I was last home, and I feel so self conscious about how I look - and obviously there’s a lot of shame that comes with it as I know people’s first thought when they see me will be “wow she’s gained a lot weight”.
To prepare for this, I spent months curating outfits where I would feel confident and most importantly comfortable. I have sensory issues with clothes since I’ve gained weight, everything has to sit at a certain point on my hips, cover my belly, not too tight but not too frumpy. You get the gist. I spent months and a lot of money creating outfits I’d be ok in.
Well… my worst nightmare happened and British airways lost my bags. And currently, they have no idea where they are.
The first day we landed my mum took me shopping and it was hell, I couldn’t find ANYTHING I thought would be ok for my body. I could tell my mum was getting irritated so I chose a dress I thought would be at least ok. It wasn’t - it ended up being tight around the stomach and flowy everywhere else, and my stomach is the part I hate the most.
It gets worse, I wear this dress to go out for a meal with my mum but little did I know - it was a suprise welcome home party with everyone I know there. And I looked horrible. I couldn’t take any photos with anyone, because I felt so revolting and fat.
Since that suprise party three days ago I’ve cancelled all plans and stayed in my family home in pyjamas.
This is the lowest I’ve ever felt about my weight and I cry constantly.

Hi, My wife and I are exploring nude beach for the first time in our life. It took a lot to convince her to join me since we came from a conservative Asian culture. We live in Quincy and get to these 2 beaches. We have a car, but it looks like there needs to be a ferry to get to the island. What is the best way (economically/financially) to do so? Hello there,
I moved into my current rental 5 years ago. The contract was originally 12 months and after that expired I moved onto month to month without signing a new contract.
The property was listed as unfurnished but when I moved in some furniture (including a sofa) remained from a previous tenant and I said I was happy for the previous tenants items to remain. This was a verbal conversation.
As I’m due to move out I found in the expired contract a reference to an inventory document, which I never received or signed. I requested this and received a video file my landlord filmed of the property, after I’d already moved in… including my items, my furniture and ME! I’m even in the video!
Is the video appropriate? In previous rentals I’ve always received a written document.
Legally, what happens with these items from the previous tenants when I move out? Have I inherited responsibility automatically or will I be responsible for replacing items that have been marked / damaged from use? HELP!

I know there are loads of queries about this and I’ve searched them all, but can’t find the answer. Does the below contract mean we can give 2 months notice at any time after 21st May to leave at any point 2 months later, or does it mean we can only give notice on 21st may or be locked in to another 12 months? This is in England.
Our contract says:
The Term: The Tenancy shall be for a period of 24 Months to start on and include the 22nd July 2023 and to end on and include 21st July 2025 but subject to break clause in Special Tenancy Conditions, and thereafter from Rental Period to Rental Period. The Term and the periodic tenancy that arises after it shall be referred to as “the Tenancy”.
Break Clause: Should either party wish to terminate the Tenancy, it is agreed that a minimum of 2 months advance written notice must be served on the other party and the tenancy must not expire within the first 12 months of the Tenancy commencement date. In this Lease the earliest date either party can give notice will be the 21st of May 2024 to expire 2 months’ after service of that notice

Hey guys!
Disclaimer 1: I originally wrote a post which I just scrapped, because it would have been not quite fitting, because my story was very long and it involves depression and i don't want to post a sob story as it is not allowed - I am here to look for advice, so i'll cut it down to whats really necessary. If something is missing or you would like to know something feel free to ask me under this post.
Disclaimer 2: Please excuse me if my english is not perfect, I'm a foreigner. If there are any questions coming up due to a language barrier feel free to ask them under this post.
Disclaimer 3: I know making a decision like this is not always easy. I don't want any of you to take that decision for me, I'm generally looking for advice to my situation.
About me:
I'm a 27 year old male, currently studying Media Engineering at my local university, i am about 6 semesters in, tho not even close to that with the classes I took and the classes i should have taken. My biggest hobbies are video games, wrenching and informing myself about cars and predator fishing.
Highschool:
I got my highschool degree at a local highschool, which focuses on design and media engineering. After graduating I wanted to start an apprenticeship in media, as messing around with cameras, editing and design software aswell as programming have been a big part of me during my teenage years. Fast forward: Even with sending out a ton of applications within one and a half year I failed to get the apprenticeship I wanted.
In the meantime I worked gastation jobs for a bit until I got a fulltime job in a car factory of a big manufacturer - partially in production, partially assissting mechanics in QA and repair. This was a student-job (eventhough fulltime), so they sadly could only give me a timed contract, which I was able to extend twice until they had to cut down student jobs. This job is gonna have an important role later on. During this job i had the time of my life.
Apprenticeship:
After failing to get the apprenticeship I wanted and the next starting time for apprenticeships coming closer I decided i have to take an apprenticeship which was more or less an emergency solution. Once again fast forward: I quit that apprenticeship because I hated the job and part of the company, which was foreseeable as it was just an emergency solution.
University:
While working some part time jobs again I saw a university course my local university had to offer, which was media engineering and basically what i wanted to do as an apprenticeship before. This was right about when covid hit the world, just for reference.
In the first 2 semester I really enjoyed everything. I got more involved with programming, 3D but also 2D art and started getting closer toward game development - because you know, i love video games, but i also started to notice that I generally lost almost all interest I had in videogames, even playing them so also university started to become more and more a chore for me. I started only taking one class over the course of 2 semesters and started to lack motivation. I started hating everything about working on it, especially the more and more it would come to a professional level it just wasn't what I imagined and had fun with anymore.
After taking less classes and even one semester off i started to notice i had fun with videogames as a freetime activity again.
Now:
Over the course of the past months I still continued wrenching whenever there was something to do on my car or my family members cars that I could fix on my own. I also love to teach myself about it. Thats where the job at the car factory comes in. I never had the feeling that while I was working with cars that I couldn't do it in my freetime, i still enjoyed it in my freetime. Even family members told me that they could really see me in that field while i was working on cars and that they saw that i really enjoyed it.
Two weeks ago i spoke about random stuff with my neighbor, who is about same age as me, and working for a car shop as a mechanic in my area. He told me that they were having trouble finding apprentices for this year and offered me a job aswell. (Struggleing to find apprentices or skilled workers over here this is really a sad normal case nowadays in trade jobs)
I kind of started thinking more about it and could also really see me working in that trade and also talked to one of my sisters about it, who wasn't opposed to it.
What would you guys advice me to do? I'm just really unsure about quitting something for the second time. Theres always coming a lot of judgement with it, especially from those people around who got to do what they love after just getting it first try. In general I think I'm really not too old yet with only 27 years of age, but also not the youngest anymore, as I graduated highschool already 7 years ago. I'm not really close to a university degree that I would say i have to finish it, i would say i'm about halfway done only.
I generally am a big fan of doing what you love to do and not doing something you don't love, since it accompanies you for a big chunk of your lifetime.
I may be naive, but well this is how I feel about this situation.

After three hard-fought quarters against the Nuggets, the Grizzlies eventually lost.
Much like most of the season’s games, they displayed convincing moments. Whenever the opponent attempted to push the game into a decisive depth, TJ would call a timely timeout to catch a breath and then immediately launch a counterattack. If you were an unfamiliar fan tuning in during the final moments of many games, you’d be puzzled: who are these guys? How are they tying the score against Joker, JT, Bron, and AD? But most of the time, effort couldn’t beat talent.
No worries, I was just as surprised as you. But after watching the Grizzlies' final game of the season in the early morning, I took a deep breath as the fleeting memories of the past six months flashed before my eyes like a slideshow, and I understood them.
This is the Grizzlies' second-lowest win rate season in the past 15 years. They had 33 players wear the jersey, missed 578 games due to injury, and used 51 different starting lineups (all NBA records). Even one of the league’s loudest home courts, FedEx Forum, often had many empty seats for most of the season.
"For just $2, you can see Timmy Allen, Jack White, and Zavier Simpson play live!"
This isn’t a joke. On April 9, facing the Spurs at home, all three played at least 25 minutes. They limited Rookie of the Year Wemby to 18 points on 19 shots but were still dominated on the boards by Sandro Mamukelashvili and lost the game.
Despite several key players coming and going, last season the Grizzlies boasted the league's best home record (35-6), but this season they only won nine games at home. After back-to-back home losses to the Blazers (who finished last in the West with 21 wins but beat the Grizzlies three times) on March 2, GG Jackson admitted postgame:
"You see your fans leaving with like 8 minutes left in the game, that really sticks us as players. They want to come see us play. And that's kind of like them slapping us in our faces like, 'We don't want to see you play.' We've got to change that."
I understand these people. This has been a season full of hardship for players, coaches, management, the team, fans, and the city. From before the season, we were devastated by unprecedented injuries. Anyone still paying attention to this team is a true Grizzlies fan. Special credit to the players and coaching staff—by January, the season had already lost its meaning. The basketball gods didn’t favor them despite Ja’s season-ending injury but instead brought more injuries. Yet, even so, they fought on and never gave up. I don’t recall any game being "surrendered"—no matter how few players were left, they gave it their all on the floor.

My favorite artist Taylor Swift released her 11th album, "The Tortured Poets Department," today, and I’m willing to call the 2024 Grizzlies "The Tortured Players Department"—injured, pained, struggling, liberated, relieved, and then filled with hope.
I don’t know how fans will remember and evaluate this most painful season in NBA history ten years from now—but while the memories are still fresh, I’ll do it now.

Two Black Swans

If we set the start of a season as the day after playoff elimination, then as early as last May, shadows had already enveloped the team. Like me, Morant wasn’t good at live streaming, and for the second time, he brandished a gun in a car. When I got the news, I was packing for a trip to Guangzhou the next day and nearly tore a basketball sock in half.
Opinions on the Smart trade were generally positive, and Raymon and I were full of praise for GG and Slaw Dawg’s Summer League performances on the Chinese Grizzlies podcast. Missing Morant for 25 games meant we couldn’t secure home-court advantage like the past two years, but securing a play-in spot seemed reasonable. In an open Western Conference, all it took was a lucky playoff matchup, and a full-strength team could still achieve something.
Then Stevo was out for the season.
Unlike Morant's short-term impact on the record, this was a heavy blow to all remaining hope. I dejectedly said:
"No matter what, they can’t play like last year or even the year before, and they can’t find another Adams through trade or signing. The Grizzlies’ new season hasn’t even started, but it might already be over."
At this point, it was just three days before the season opener. The appearance of two black swans cast a shadow over the season before it even began.

Finding Joy in Suffering

The Grizzlies' first 25 games were like me trying to stand on a balance ball in the gym for the first time—standing seemed not too difficult, but whenever I tried to squat, my legs started shaking uncontrollably, and most of the time, I fell off.
After five straight losses, the Grizzlies quickly signed the overlooked Biyombo and then played some decent games, but the injury wave followed one after another. At the most extreme, the Grizzlies had to use their paper-thin fourth point guard—Jacob Gilyard, who should have shined in the G League—a player about my height and weight because Ja, Smart, and Rose were all injured.

To be fair, the Grizzlies showed resilience at that time. Facing the "BIG4 Clippers," the Grizzlies won their second game of the season on the road. Gilyard (6+5+3+3) held his own against Harden (11+4+3); against a full-strength Celtics, Aldama put up 28+12+6 and almost pulled off an upset; Bane dropped 49 points to lead a comeback win over the Pistons, scoring in the fourth quarter as much as Cunningham, Bojan, Duren, and Ivey combined.
The Grizzlies could keep up with most paper-strong teams and even come back from 15-20 points down but usually lost in the final moments. Bane took on an overwhelming offensive load, being the only consistent scorer, three-point shooter, and transition player, but he mostly held up; JJJ was often forced to play the five, which he disliked, making both offense and defense awkward and inefficient. As for the untested young players, they rarely held the ball securely in the fourth quarter.
With a 6-19 record, second-to-last in the West, trailing the play-in zone by more than five games; Bane’s performance was the team’s lone standout, determining both the floor and ceiling; aside from JJJ, Aldama, and Roddy, almost no one was healthy. The Grizzlies’ net rating still ranked higher than their record, their defensive efficiency remained in the top ten, but they couldn’t score.

A Brief Spring

December 20—just an ordinary game day, but Grizzlies fans had been waiting almost four months. The Pelicans, with their formidable build, weren’t an ideal opponent after a long layoff, but Morant loved such games. He probed in the first two quarters and then started showcasing his signature gliding layups and near-basket floaters in the third. He almost blew past every defender, gesturing "too small" to Alvarado, laying it up over defensive player Herbert Jones. On the final play, he drove from the backcourt, bypassed the screen, and floated a shot over Jones, Murphy, and Daniels—off the backboard, into the basket, buzzer beater.
This was Morant’s first career buzzer-beater. Interestingly, after the shot, even the Grizzlies players on the court paused for a second before realizing they had won, with Bane even freezing at the three-point line.
I understand Bane. In the first 25 games, the Grizzlies didn’t have such clutch play; this was a moment where a superstar wielded his superpower.

Morant posted the highest points for a player returning after missing more than 25 games in history, but more thrilling for fans was that the Grizzlies truly became competitive. They quickly won four in a row, beating the hot Haliburton, Trae, and Wemby, and winning twice against the Pelicans on the road. Bane and JJJ were in great form, and Smart’s fourth-quarter lockdown on Ingram was impressive.
With the return of injured players, we began to calculate and discuss the Grizzlies' playoff prospects. Morant caught the flu and missed one game, played poorly in the next two—nothing to say as I was also down with the flu—recovered, and then convincingly defeated Bron and AD’s Lakers on the road. Smart scored 29 points (including a ton of threes), Morant’s scattered scoring and assists, JJJ turned into Curry, and Bane turned the arena into a library with a series of off-the-dribble threes in the fourth quarter. After the game, Nemo and JJJ sat on the scorer’s table for an ESPN interview: "You’re making a playoff push, what’s your plan?"

Jaren smiled lightly, and Nemo said, "Keep playing like this, 48 minutes of relentless effort every night, execute our signature defense, move the ball, and everyone being on point. Tonight, we had many guys scoring 20+, like Z. Keep this up, and we’ll be dangerous."
We didn’t see Nemo play again; a few days later, he was diagnosed with a torn labrum and was out for the season; two games later, Smart dislocated his finger and was out for the season; another two games, Bane went down, and the season was over.

The Dawn

Just two weeks after hope reignited, it was extinguished. What was left to see this season? I believe every Grizzlies fan asked themselves this question. At this point, you have to appreciate the basketball gods; when they close one door, they really do open another.
——Back on December 1, with no one available, TJ put Vince Williams into the rotation. As last year’s 47th pick, his rookie year saw no meaningful time, mainly playing in the G League. In the limited effective game sample, we considered him a wing “shooter” who couldn’t handle the ball or defend well—he hadn’t even shot well in Summer League.
In his first effective NBA game, Vince scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, adding nine rebounds. He stayed on in the fourth quarter, impressively defending Irving. The Grizzlies secured their fifth win of the season.
Ten days later, facing the Mavericks again, this time he had to guard Luka, averaging 34 points. No one expected him to complete the task, nor should he, but he did great—the Grizzlies almost erased a 17-point deficit, forcing Luka to 4-of-12 shooting in the second half. They even exchanged trash talk during the game, but after the game, Luka said:
"I think he’s a great defender."
When Luka Doncic calls you a "great" defender, you must be a "very, very, very great" defender.

Vince started the next game. Although he had some ups and downs briefly after Morant’s return, he quickly adjusted. He scored 19+9 against the Suns’ big three, limiting Durant; next time facing Luka, he won again (Luka 9-of-21); he scored 24+7 against the Warriors, winning, and in the win over the Heat, he outperformed Butler (25 points, JB 15 points).
Just as we were marveling at his offensive and defensive performances, his pre-All-Star break streak showed us even more potential.
Starting from February 8 against the Bulls, he averaged 14+7+8+2 steals over five consecutive games, including an 18+12+7 performance against Lillard/Giannis’ Bucks. He limited Lillard to 7-of-21 shooting and helped disrupt Lillard’s three-point attempt in the final moments.
What, Vince can also moonlight as a point guard?
The Grizzlies converted his contract in January to a three-year, $7.9 million deal with an option. Considering his versatility and level of play, this contract is so low it’s almost insulting. But if you think that’s exaggerated, wait, there’s more.

——When GG Jackson was drafted, few Grizzlies fans who knew about him were optimistic. Their reasons were solid: GG wasn’t even 19 when drafted, too young; he skipped a grade to play a dismal season at South Carolina, shooting 38%, looking like a chucker; he had publicly criticized teammates, posing a locker room cancer risk.
These might be true, but I only learned about him after he was drafted—watching him tearfully talk to ZK on a call, watching his college highlight reels showcasing his versatile offensive skills and confidence, his enviable physique, these on-court aspects captivated me. I followed his performance throughout Summer League, and his smooth catch-and-shoot and diligent defensive footwork made me even more optimistic about his future.
At the time, I was probably the only one publicly praising him. I voiced my support in every platform I had—podcasts, Weibo, even the comment section of the pay raise public account: Check out GG! He has a chance to enter the rotation!
For the first half of the season, he barely played, putting up numbers in the G League. On January 13, 2024, with Nemo, Bane, and Smart all out, TJ had no choice but to put GG into the rotation, giving him 27 minutes.
In his first effective NBA game, GG scored 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting; the next game against the Warriors, 23 points. He became the second-youngest in history to score 20+ in consecutive games, only behind Bron—TNT’s crew warmly greeted him on national television:
Shaq: "I have nothing to say; I just want to congratulate you: now people know who you are."

GG looked both excited and nervous, reminding me of my freshman year. This is the genuine reaction of a kid this age when they’ve done something remarkable and are publicly praised for it.

If GG had entered the rotation earlier, could he have made the All-Rookie First Team? Quite possibly, as he’s a natural scorer who excels in big moments and national broadcasts (how rare is this for the youngest player in the league?). His other contributions in games were limited, but considering the Grizzlies’ environment, their league-worst offense, the pressure he faced, and the difficulty of his scoring might have been greatly underestimated.

Two experts stood with me: ESPN’s Bobby Marks placed GG in his All-Rookie Second Team a week ago, and The Ringer’s Bill Simmons said he would vote GG for Rookie of the Year in a podcast two days ago. Regardless, GG has earned respect.
And for Grizzlies fans, even better news is that the team converted his contract to a four-year, $8.5 million deal with a fourth-year team option in February. As a Reddit Grizzlies fan put it, "This is Pippen contract level theft."
Vince and GG, two second-round picks, played convincingly in ways no one expected. The Grizzlies have locked them in on affordable long-term contracts for at least three years, and they will undoubtedly be key rotation or even starting players for the Grizzlies next season—what did the Grizzlies trade to acquire them? Though Grizzlies fans' moods might be 1,000 times better than three months ago, this remains a completely wasted season. For a young team that matched up against the champions two years ago, this isn’t good. The Grizzlies still have plenty of draft picks, but their salary cap is tight. Their core 3 is still young and talented, but two other young core teams—at least the Timberwolves and Thunder—are ready. The Grizzlies are nowhere near their position two years ago.
But this "wasted" season allowed them to eliminate many wrong options and secure several key players. Even if the offseason only brings an average starting center, their roster strength is very, very solid (I don’t think any current team could consistently beat a healthy 2024 Grizzlies). They maintained high defensive levels, forced turnovers, and blocks with many non-NBA players, and they possess better three-point shooting than the past two years. They can replicate the 2022 season's performance, and that’s a conservative estimate.

But can they stay healthy? In 2022, Dillon played only 32 games and was out of sorts in the playoffs, with Morant also injured midway; in 2023, key players were in and out, losing inside reserves to the Lakers in a seven-game upset; this year, the entire team suffered the worst injury wave in NBA history. Like the Clippers in recent years, injuries are the easiest topic to discuss without being wrong because no one can control them, and they always happen.
So, I can only pray to the basketball gods: it can’t get worse than this. I desperately want to see a fully healthy Morant-Bane-Jaren Grizzlies team play a playoff series, even if they are easily beaten by a better team. I don’t want to look back years later and be left with a pile of "what ifs."

Hi everyone,
I apologise for hijacking the Gibraltar subreddit with a question about the La Linea area. Thank you for your understanding and support.
My partner and I are looking to rent in the Cadiz area while working in Gibraltar. My wife will work in Gibraltar, and she doesn't drive, so commuting options are important. I work from home, which gives us some flexibility.
We have an old, small dog (14-year-old Scottish Terrier mix) who is very quiet and well-behaved. We have recommendations for ourselves and him from our current and previous landlords.
After spending some time on this subreddit, I'm not convinced La Linea is the best place to live, despite the easy commute to Gibraltar. We're considering areas further away, up to San Roque and Algeciras. From what I've read, San Roque seems quieter and more suitable for our age (mid-40s), but we haven’t visited these areas yet.
We need to plan our budget and understand the conditions for renting in the Cadiz area. Do we have to pay just the rent plus one month's deposit, or is it typically the first rent, one month's deposit, plus another rent for the real estate agent? Or even 2 months' deposit, making the initial expense four months' rent?
Additionally, I'm a bit nervous about the difficulties we might encounter because of our dog, despite having recommendations and his quiet nature.
Another concern is about the procedures for getting the deposit back if we decide to move after a few months once we understand the area better and find a more suitable location. Are rental contracts typically for a year or six months, and if we break the contract early, are we stuck there or do we lose the deposit?
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Hi Guys! I am in a bit of a bind. I signed a two year contract that has no pretermination clause because I was confident that I can fulfill that obligation. However my circumstances have changed. I will relocated and can no longer fulfill the 2nd year. I find it difficult to the landlord because he is always busy. I have spoken to his broker but she says, the replacement i should look for should be capable to pay one whole year of rental which is what I did on the first year of our contract. Yes, please dont bash me, I already know what a stupid thing to do to sign a no pretermination clause. I just need understanding and maybe an advise. The owner not only wants me to forego the security deposit but he expects me to pay the rest of the 12 months of rental for our second year. But I am not capable to pay anymore. Can someone tell me what will happen to me should I no longer pay? Also if we are evicted am i able to take out my personal stuff aside from clothes?? Please advise.

Hey everyone. Long story short I bought a Jeep 1 year ago and it's waiting for parts for a coolant pump issue there is no ETA on parts. We had a Santa Fe as our 2nd vehicle, some lady tboned it and it was totalled on Friday. Not wanting to throw money at rental with no ETA of parts, we went shopping for a vehicle yesterday. Bought a 2020 Encore with 54k as a 2nd vehicle. The car is amazingly clean, no mechanical issues that we could find, drives great, no accidents, 1 former owner with great maintenance records.
Is there anything that is common issue we need to be aware of? Pretty much this will be my ride to and from work until my Jeep is fixed then it's a spare grocery getter car.

Hey y’all, Need your help in setting up my Swiss itinerary.
Me, my wife and our two elementary grade kids land in Zurich on a Friday afternoon. We have our return flight from Zurich very early Monday morning. (3 nights in Switzerland, I know it’s not a lot but trying to make the best of it)
Places we’d like to visit include Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen for sight seeing. Do the boat cruise on lake brienz. Visit a small town called Saanen. Go to Jungfrau perhaps (not a must do for us though).
Our flight back on Monday is very early, so I surely want to get back to Zurich on Sunday morning evening and check in to a hotel there for tht night.
Help I ask is: - where do you all think I should get my hotel for the first two nights. (Budget around 300 per night). - would in my case, getting a rental car make more sense than going in trains? (I’ll have a couple of large check in bags and couple carry ons). So was wondering if a car helps cos I can leave the bags in wherever we are.

It was not disclosed that the vehicle was inoperable until after a price was provided. Please note that this could be considered deceptive and that the price was not adjusted to reflect an inop fee as it should have been. Once I hand down a quote the price doesn't change. Period.

The first carrier was booked 05/09 @ 11:54 am for pickup on the 10th and delivery on the 11th. This is where things start to go south. See the screen below. The client had provided incorrect pickup and contact data.

This next screen is important. The pickup location closes at 4 for the weekend, I've now lost one carrier and have no options for weekend pickup. The best I can hope for is to schedule it over the weekend for Monday pickup, which is quite challenging.

Mon 05/10 3 hours later the load is booked for pickup on Wednesday. The comment I made at the bottom is important. I had assumed the carrier was onsite when they had only called ahead thusfar. I admitted to this and apologized for it on the phone. Clearly my miscommunication.

A few hours go by and the truck is running late. That's what trucks do, they run late. But at 8pm, I'm still in communication with the truck and the client. From this point, I call it a night and head to bed. Having worked with this carrier before I was confident that they'd pick up. Which they did.

Thursday morning, more unwarranted threats. But the unit has now been picked up and is in motion. It was picked up around midnight and timestamped pictures were provided as proof. I reply to her texts 30 minutes before day starts in an effort to ease her mind.

Here I am again, trying my best to help the situation. The move was just under 1100 miles and the vehicle was picked up 10 hours prior. What kind of update exactly are you looking for? Clearly the driver hasn't started their day yet.

As has been displayed, I've done everything to help with this client. The initial problem begins with the failure to mention the car being inop and leads into bad information causing us to lose a few transport days. None of which was the fault of myself or any of the carriers involved.
At the end of the day, the vehicle was picked up on Wednesday as promised, traveled 1100 miles in 48 hours and was delivered unscathed. Aside from an unreasonable and unorganized client causing issues along the way, I don't see the issue. As always I made every attempt to perform to the best of my abilities with this move.
And when I attempt to defend myself, the client decides it is ok to belittle and berate me while using abusive language.
