Fear and Hunger 2: Termina is an RPG maker game that deals with a dark and violent reality set in a world considerably based on ours, but with fantasy elements (for example, in the game, Germany's alter-ego is called Bremen , Vatican City is a country based in southern Italy with gangsters and "dark priests" who study and learn magic, etc.). So far, relatively good. The problem is that there is a religious figure called "Alll-Mer" in the polytheistic context of the game's reality, one of the several gods in the game's lore. Strongly inspired by Christ, he is described as a man of humble origins born of a virgin, who appointed apostles, died crucified and was resurrected, giving men the possibility of becoming "gods". Hey, just looking for advice. Is there any tips or tricks to landing interviews? I've applied to 100+ jobs and have gotten a few interviews that lead nowhere. My resume is solid, I've gotten it checked by multiple people and have been refining it daily/adjusting it to support the job I'm applying to. I've made cover letters, followed up with email to the company, act very friendly, etc. I had been able to land interviews/my last jobs pretty easily before, now I get nowhere. I'm aware the job market is kind of bad right now, but someone has to be hiring right?
Or if anyone has any suggestions for jobs that are hiring right now that deal with customer service, project management, administrative work, or anything else around there -- please let me know. I can't stand for long periods/do much physical exertion nor drive (I have means of transport) due to disability though and have been looking for something WFH (which I have concluded is impossible to get, so I'm looking for in person too). I (26F) live with my bf (30M) in an apartment in a very expensive city. My friend (26F) and her BF (26M) are doing a Work and Holiday trip in the same city. They recently lost both of their jobs and have no place to stay, so I offered my second bedroom for a week, until they have to leave to do their farm work (something they already had decided, to extend their W&H visa. Walking around with dirty shoes (eventho we are a shoes off household, and we provide slippers) coming back home at 3 am and making a mess. and some more other things.
Not to mention that they are leaving everything they own all over our apartment.
Context: we have a chill life during the week. My BF wakes up at 5 am for work so we try to go to bed at 10 or early if possible. On top of that, we are trying for a baby, and we want to keep our home quiet and enjoyable.
They were supposed to leave on Sunday. So we made plans on Monday (like a little date). On Saturday I overheard her talking on the phone to her mum saying that they were going to leave on Monday. When I first taught art, the "specials" grades didn't affect GPA or sport eligibility. From what I've read on this forum, this seems to be the rule in most schools.

In another district, the grades counted. Students had to work for that A in my class (meet requirements on a rubric) I had parents ask me what Billy could do to change his grade so he could play in the tournament. Because I never graded below 50%, a student could earn As over the next two or three weeks to raise his average to a C. Oh, Billy is off the team if he misses two weeks of practice? Yep, that's a problem. Perhaps Billy should change his behavior next quarter.
From other comments, demanding art, music, and PE grades mean something is some kind of arrogance from a specials teacher, who should remember his place.

You might think I have a dangerous occupation.
It is not. Sensors show where the domain walls are. With almost [1 light year equivalent] margin of error. my job is to map out where exactly those domain walls are. Flying sub-lightspeed on my thrusters. Most would find it a boring and lonely job. I love it. Breaking a domain wall was sometimes exploring new things. The thrill of discovering something new. I could spend all day dreaming about it.
Like when the Ranbar, a race of wingless creatures, discovered a rectangular domain. The domain could only be artificial. Inside they found a giant mass accelerator. A doomsday weapon. Those filthy [roaches] repurposed it and patented it for cargo transport. Now they monopolize the interstellar trade AND make flying spaceships between habited systems dangerous.
That all happened a few [hundred years ago]. Hell, even the Newest-Sight-To-Behold price had been awarded [about 80 years] ago. Long before a few more precursor domains had been located. Some had wonderful technology. Others were empty. A few had warning buoys and active defenses. No one got past those.

So, I am trying to understand the migrant situation better so that I may become more educated and informed on this topic and be able to better understand something I currently find very confusing. I asked a series of questions in NoStupidQuestions and got some great responses, which have now triggered some follow up questions that I believe would be best answered by economists. I'm asking these questions here hoping to cut through the noise of political bias and get a truly educated opinion without some agenda or political rant behind it.

1. If US taxpayers are paying for migrants' cost of living while they await a judgement on their asylum status, how much does this cost actually impact the U.S. budget, future tax implications (raising taxes?), and American livelihoods?
   1. For example, if migrants get free healthcare, does that mean the cost of health insurance and medical procedures also increases, to make up for the associated expenses of offering free medical care?
   2. Does offering free housing increase rent by limiting supply or otherwise have other impact on the housing markets?
      1. And later on, when migrants get granted asylum, would this put a further strain on housing markets?
   3. Are the jobs associated with handling the migrant situation, and the increased spending, net-beneficial to the U.S. economy after all is said and done?
   4. Would these costs ever be recouped in the long-term, from the long-term benefits of adding more workers to the economy?
   5. What does the data say about migrants, job prospects, and welfare in the long-term, after they've been granted asylum?
2. Does the US have the economic resources or incentive to use AI to speed up the claims process, which seems to be what causes the most backlog between either issuing work visas or deporting migrants?
3. It's said that the majority of migrants are poor and undereducated, which makes them perfect for corporations to exploit in low-wage positions.
   1. Are they given low-wage positions while waiting for their asylum to be approved, or after they've been granted work visas?
   2. What is the net economic impact of this?

My Brother just got fired at his part time job and the whole situation is so bizarre I can't believe it.
Description of events heard from my brother, can't tell if there is more going on in the background that I don't know about. This is the information I was told -
Brother (18) has a part time job where he was called during the middle of his shift to talk to HR. HR asked about a comment on a social media post made by a coworker (they also go to the same school), and asked why he made it. The comment was 'count your days'. He said it was an inside joke and showed that the coworker even liked the comment last night. HR said its a harmful comment and that because of the zero tolerance policy they have to let him go. He works at an 'At will' state.
More background: When prodded about why the coworker might have reported him (I think that's the most likely) Brother swears that even up until this morning coworker was friendly and joking with him all day. He swears that there was no fights/arguments and he is as confused as we are.
Of course, Ik that he is not getting this job back and that's not the point of the post. I am genuinely perplexed and want to understand a few things -

1. Can HR fire anybody for comments? So often we comment stuff like 'watch out' or 'be careful' on friends post. What constitutes a proper investigation to understand the context or are they not liable to to even investigate? I guess I am appalled that they can hear allegations from one person (whoever it might have came from) and then fire someone without any written termination letter within 5 minutes.
   
2. Will this show up on his employment records?

recently i got myself an iq test and since i scored ~150 i was really blown away and i shared that with my family (parents, siblind and aunt)
my aunt was happy for me but also said that they already knew as i got diagnosed as a child which got me confused as to why i never heard of it so i started asking my mom questions and one of things i found out was that i have been diagnosed with autism and god damnit, my life makes so much more sense now. (i suspected it but i am so high functioning and im masking so much that its bit hard to recognize it)
like my odd behaviors i had as a child, the social stuff, etc. but also the unexplainable hate i felt from my mother all my life (even till now) and the worse treatment then any of my siblings that i received (like she was never as harsh, mean and cold to them. she never forced them to overwork themselves as much as me. like for example she was forcing me to work since 14yo which is illegal so she had to find me odd jobs, while my siblings never had to work even through some of them are over 18 now).
she also for example often overwhealmed me, i think even on purpose as she never did such stuff to my siblings and never acomodated me for such stuff.
just wanted to vent a bit. its not all that i have on my mind now but i guess its enough. if yall had any useful input in this matter i would be really thankful

Has the ability to control a type of energy only he has.
Ways to use this energy is standard strength and speed by but the power into your muscle fibers and organs to enhance their performance. Matthew can also materialize this power in different ways. He finds out how he can do this by watching others, for example shock waves or energy tenticals.
The main weakness is energy drain. I know what y'all probably thinking, "this is like every quirks weakness cause I swing your quirk can tire you out", but his quirks energy drain.
When he use his quirk, the energy runs down and if uses a all out attack he loses the energy and cant use his quirk.
But on the good side , this energy grows back over time , and since it's his quirk energy if he goes to where he let out a huge attack, he can absorbed it back. It takes like an hour to get his power back to 100% naturally if he just goes on with his day.
Mutation: * Wolf Ears and Tail: Matthew has permanent wolf-like ears and a tail as a result of his mutation.* Laser Eyes: Matthew can emit powerful laser beams from his eyes. This mutation was a rare coincident.
Also he can share his energy with others to enhance their quirks cause energy works like that I think.
Elemental Forms and Powers:

1. Lightning Form (Name: Volt)

• Powers: Electrokinesis, Enhanced Speed

Weakness: If used too much then it will damage his nervous system temporarily.

1. Fire Form (Name: Blaze):

• Powers: Pyrokinesis, Heat Resistance

Weakness: if you use too much then we'll gain first degree burns.

1. Water Form (Name: Aquos):

• Powers: Hydrokinesis, Water Healing

Weakness: No clear weakness.

Weakness: if in a heated area, then he will get weak and slower.

How this works is his power works like a computer l well more like just a normal computer, then a virus AKA and elements infects this power and then it slowly corrupts his powers AKA but there until his body is able to use a different elements,the form is only as strong as his original form because the element can only corrupt what is there,not make more power. A little bit of this energy is still there so that it can take back control. Each form has a mind of its own like some dark shadow type thing. The reason why his forms have minds of their own is cause if I gave him full control his forms he would swap to frequently and that would be two strong.
The reason why he can do this is when he was 3 is quirk was developing and he was exposed to radiation messing with his quirk genes and when his quirk developed it added this.
Hero Costume:

• Appearance: Matthew's hero costume features a sleek and modern design. It includes a green suit with black accents, symbolizing his main form's green hair and eyes.
• Symbol: The costume incorporates a stylized emblem combining the symbols of all his elemental forms, representing his fusion abilities.
• Support Items: Matthew carries specialized bracers that enhance his control over his energy whips. Additionally, he has utility pouches to store various tools and gadgets.

He also has tubes that are like water bottle size on this belt that he charges with his energy every night before he goes to bed in case he runs out of energy himself.
Maximum Output Move: Master Elemental

• Description: Matthew channels and combines the energies of all his elemental forms into one ultimate attack.
• Effects: Elemental tattoos appear on his body, symbolizing each element's power. Lightning appears on his head, fire on his chest, water on his left arm, ice on his right arm, light on his left leg, darkness on his right leg, plant on his right shoulder, metal on his left shoulder, and earth on his back. The attack unleashes a devastating and overwhelming burst of elemental energy.

Carrys amounted cannons inspired by Titan speaker man. They harness his power into either energy balls or just flat out lasers.
To make my self clear his max form when he uses all his elements he can only use 1/10 of his forms power including him as the main guy of this whole body.
PERSONALITY
He's smart nice in a way sometimes a prankster if you try to roast him you will go complete PackGod on you, if he's in a bad mood don't try to comfort him you'll just make things worse and not for him for you, he's really cocky, but not bakugo cocky hes just a bit over confident. He is very creative. He loves tech to the point if you break a 30 buck phone around him, let's just say you gonna want to do a crime in front of batman before Matthew finds you.

I was involved in a minor accident in January. I was given a ticket for failure to yield resulting in an accident. I'm located in Missouri. I received a letter and court documents from my attorney yesterday stating that the recommendation is acceptance of liability by insurance, SIS, 1 year bench probation with monitoring, court costs, and proof of restitution will amend the ticket to no point speeding. I have never been in trouble and have only had a couple tickets over 30 years ago for speeding (under 10 miles over the speed limit) My mind is spinning right now. How screwed am I? Im worried I'm going to b lose my job and/or my certification as a mammography tech. I had insurance so the damages to her car and medical bills will be taken care of. I got an attorney to protect myself. He never said SIS or probation was a possibility (and yes, I asked for worse case scenario) Probation seems excessive for a traffic accident in which there was only minor damage/injury especially since I don't have a record and have never been in trouble before. Anyone have a similar experience?

Oh man, where the hell did the last decade even go?
It seems I discovered drugs and a decade just disappeared and I was 21 like three days ago. I'm sober now but it feels like l time traveled for a few years and now my life is stable and kinda boring and I dunno what to do with myself.
Now I'm 30 and kinda feel like a dinosaur most of the time since I have been a waiter or host my entire adult life. Decent money but most people abandon it after a few years and my coworkers are always about a decade younger than me. I dunno who the hell thought I deserved to be in charge but I was the idiot who stayed long enough that I run the place. It is kind of nice being the one telling others what to do but it does get old after a while. I wonder what other job I could get myself into while I'm still relatively fit and young. I found myself explaining what dial up internet was to a coworker and realized that maybe I should get into a new line of work before people started calling me grandpa.
It'll do for now though because life used to be really fucking hard and now it's easy for a change and I've got a lot of free time. This is kind of just a stream of unfiltered thoughts and I dunno why the hell you're reading it because I'm full of shit but I'm glad you stopped by and your company is welcome.
I actually feel like someone worth dating for a change so I am here ranting away trying to find another soul that never shuts up and has the endless enthusiasm for life that I do.
Because I love to experience new things and not everything was bad over the past decade. I fell in love a couple times and my life was good in those moments and I wonder if I could do that again. If people in this modern society want to slow down for a while and get to know someone for a while.
That is what love is to me. Or at least part of what makes it. To be completely known and understood, and appreciated for exactly that and nothing more.
I want to travel and see new things and I can get a job anywhere with my skill set so I always imagine going to someone else because I've figured out that home is where my favorite person is, it isn't really about the place.
I'll be at home when I can experience someone else and share a life with them. Understand them. Be at peace with them.
A man can dream at least and I have always been deeply passionate and touchy feely in the way I love and I've never really been shy either. Intimacy has never been a complaint someone has had about me and if anything was the only thing holding together one of my past relationships.
But I want someone I can appreciate as a friend too, and who I get along with amazingly well. A woman with a sharp mind is always endlessly sexy to me.
I have no idea where she is right now, but even if it's a small chance maybe she is here somewhere reading these posts aimlessly then it's worth a shot.

It's stupid little teenager like fantasies that keep me going sometimes. I can't be the only one.
I am nothing special. Tall but not the most handsome. Not ugly either but I don't see something amazing when I look in the mirror. Just a freckled white guy with brown eyes and an average. I am relatively fit but definitely no athlete with a six pack.
But I could find something special with someone else and I haven't given up on it because if I experienced it before when my life was even worse then it should be a better experience and possible now.
Unless the world has just given up on romance.
It will be a sad rest of my life if we are bound to live alone. I always thought I would make a cool ass dad and I want to have that experience before I die and I've always imagined sticking with whoever I had those kids with forever. I'm not asking you to be a housewife hell I would even be a stay at home dad of I had to if it meant I got to have the chance to raise a family of my own one day.
I guess the reasons millennials all treat their pets like babies is because we are too poor to have real ones.
