A bit of context. My (22f) boyfriend (22m) and I got together at the end of 2022, and admittedly it wasn't a great start. This was two years ago and I have learned a lot since then so please don't judge me. He had just joined the hospitality job that I was working at at the time, and we became fast friends. It didn't take long for us to get quite close when I realised that he wasn't bringing his girlfriend up much in conversation. I would try to ask questions about her and he would just give short answers and quickly move on. Eventually, I confronted him about it and he told me that he had fallen out of love with her months ago, but because he had moved across the country for her he didn't have anywhere else to stay if they broke up. I offered my couch, mainly because I had just recently been in a situation where I couldn't leave an abusive relationship for months because of housing issues so I empathised a lot. After he decided that he was going to break up with her, our friendship took a bit of a turn and things became a bit flirty. Please don't hate me for this, I regret it a lot and I feel so horrible for his girlfriend at the time. Anyway, it was all very subtle flirting and at one point I set boundaries about what we were saying because he was still in a relationship and I was uncomfortable with where it was going. He would occasionally push those boundaries, and at one point he said that he hated how much of a 'good person' I was because he wanted to say so much more.
Anyway, we kept those boundaries up until one day he messaged me and asked if I was able to help him move his stuff that night because he was going to break up with his girlfriend. From what I know, he spent all day packing and she came home to boxes and him sitting on the bed waiting for her. They've talked about it since and he regrets how callous this breakup was. Anyway, I swung by, he loaded his stuff into my car, and we left.
He stayed at mine for a bit and spent about two weeks crashing at other people's places before I just offered my place up indefinitely. By that point, he was not sleeping on the couch. We weren't officially together until about two months later but we definitely moved very quickly all things considered.
Anyway, it's been about two years since then. We've lived together the entire time and have both learned a lot about relationships - though we definitely still have room to grow. Overall, we are both very happy and we're in a pretty good spot.
Now some other context, my partner has always had mostly female friends. In most pictures that I've seen of him as a kid he is in a group of girls, and he himself is not extremely masculine by his own admission. However, also by his own admission, he has a flirty personality, and he makes flirty jokes to both men and women. He also struggles to make friends a little bit, so he tends to cling to the ones that he has. Keep these things in mind moving forward.
My feelings of insecurity or jealousy started around mid-last year when he showed me that he had swiped up on a female friend's risky Instagram story of her in lingerie with some sort of flirty joke. It made me feel super icky but I didn't know what to do so I just smiled and said nothing. Then, in October at a Halloween party, we were pairing off for beer pong and he immediately turned to and partnered with that same girl when I was sitting right next to him and turned straight to him. That broke my heart a bit. He went out one-on-one with a female coworker to a cocktail bar after work for drinks, where they both got drunk but she got absolutely wasted so he walked her home. He was also mostly MIA on messages through this event. He's also told me some flirty jokes that he's made to his female coworkers that just give me the ick a bit. All of these situations we've had conversations about and mostly resolved, but I think it's informing the way that I feel now.
Here is my problem. We have a really great relationship and I can see myself spending the rest of my life with him, but I can't shake this feeling of insecurity and jealousy which I can't help but feel like is because of the way that we got together. I can also admit that I am a fairly insecure person and I have pretty low self-confidence which I'm sure is absolutely having an impact on this. It's to a point now where every time he goes out for coffee with a female friend or even just to work I get a twisting feeling in my tummy, and I've had a strong urge to go through his messages. To be completely clear, though, I have not touched his phone or messages, and I have not given him any indication that I am feeling insecure about him just going to work or anything like that. This isn't the kind of person that I am and I feel horrific that I am becoming so jealous.
He has always had female friends, so it is absolutely off the cards for that to just be a boundary, and we've talked about his flirty personality before but it's a hard thing to define and set boundaries around. I genuinely don't think that he is cheating as I don't really think he would have the time, plus our relationship is going well. I'm hoping for genuine advice about either how to approach this or how to check myself. I'd rather not hear "just break up with him".

Wondered if others have had the same problem, and what potiental fixes might work?
Since the 9th, if I launch Rust and run client.benchmark it will freeze the PC when I start loading height map, or when I load into a server it freezes at the last stage 'cleaning up', which results in me hard booting the PC. I ran run with EAC disabled using the rustclient.exe method and it worked fine with no problems.
I stress tested the PC, updated BIOS, reinstalled windows, verfied game, reinstalled EAC, updated drivers, reset network settings, cleaned PC of dust, checked components, changed RAM slots, checked event viewer, no significant critical errors other than kernal error 41 which is just the rebooting of the pc. Turned off XMP in bios, changed boot mode from 'other OS' to 'Windows UEFI mode'. Changed virtual memory paging, but I have 32GB of ram so this shouldn't be a problem. Allowed EAC through windows firewall. Turned the firewall off. Ran chkdsk, sfc/scannow on CMD prompt. Checked Nvidia power management, lowered and highered. Checked DirectX12 is up to date. Attempted changing the launch options in Rust. Reset BIOS to factory settings. Tried a different wall plug for PSU. Turned internet on and off, and different ethernet. Reinstalled windows on a new SSD.
There's a number of other things I have tried but I haven't kept a note of it all.
To be clear, the PC performs fine with other games that use EAC, such as Halo, Hell Let Loose.
I've researched quite deep into this problem, and found others have had a similar issue with EAC in the past with other games, but all the threads end up dead with no solution.
I raised to facepunch, but little help other than the situation is being investigated.
Wondered if there's anything else I could try? I am completely clueless on what could be causing this.
I read that EAC runs on a kernal level, so if something interferes with it then it can cause the PC to lock up.

This comes after the MSI Series today which i will not spoil for anyone so go ahead and watch the series if you want to know what happened.
As to this post i just wanted to discuss a few opinions i had about the western regions vs the eastern region as it seems the west is just years behind the east which is crazy especially after the east dominating the game for 13 years since they joined the competitive scene in season 2.
I feel like there are some key issues and differences between the western teams and the eastern teams.
The first issue i see is that regions like NA and EU seem to only have one competitive team which absolutely hurts them because they go to international tournaments and get smashed by eastern teams that play in a competitive region where they are consistently under pressure and always playing vs top players.
NA and EU have really weak teams when you look at 2nd seeds down which comes down to organisations that play in the leagues. It feels like the pro players in the lower seed teams don't improve at all and they are happy just being along for the ride. They only know how to play 2/3 champs max and they don't expand. The orgs need to change their process and start becoming more competitive. Could this be due to the fact that there is nothing for them to lose if they finish last ? like they just come back next split and take the 10th seed again without any improvement.
While i understand that riot put in place rules to make sure that orgs in the LCS/LEC can financially support their player etc i feel like the older system where bottom two/three teams should be demoted to the academy leagues and let academy teams promote to the main tournament. This will give the teams a kick to actually push for wins and practice harder rather than just spamming games for no reason.
Another issue is that the player champion mechanics and champion pools are years behind the east. If you look at the eastern players they can pull out almost any champion and play it to the best of it's ability where are the west player can't do the same. When you watch pros play on streams they just spam games and don't really consider improvement at all.
I feel like the pros should be given champions by the coach that they need to play and learn how to become great players on multiple champs rather than just 2/3. Each team should have a few analysts that help players review individual game play in solo queue as well as team games and help them improve champion mechanics. This would help the players actually improve as it seems they always lose out on the smallest of things that turn the tide of the games.
Another issue is that western teams only team fight and win those fights when it's set up perfectly for them which is almost never the case as the perfect opportunities are rare in this type of game. The eastern teams are always willing to take a fight and they trust their individual skills and the skills of their team mates to win a fight from behind. Western teams stand no chance when from behind and they slowly beed out. I feel like working on team play and practicing team play, position etc needs a lot more work from the western teams.
Player pool for each role again makes it hard to the top teams to perform internationally. For example take the likes of APA or Caps who are strong midlane players. They have no real competition that would let them consistently play vs players at their level or the level of fakechovy etc while they perform on the internationall stage individually the rest of the team doesn't because their roles are not as competitive in EU the bot, jungle and toplane roles have next to no competition as they are dominated by 1 player.
Maybe EU/NA need to import better coaches from the LCK and the LPL and let them structure how the team trains and plays to be more like the east ?
for 13 years the western style of play has not work and it's still not working. You cant tell me that what the western teams are doing is correct otherwise they'd win international tournaments or at least they'd always get to the top 4 slots. NA especially has soo much money pumped into it but they can't compete ?

My husband (33) and I have 3 children. Our oldest is 10 and she is so smart and funny and creative…as far as kids go, in an unbiased way I think she’s wonderful, truly. The only “issue” we have is she tends to be loud, and it sets my husband off frequently. It’s like it almost enrages him any time she isn’t “using an inside voice”. I do understand kids need to be taught to use certain voices at the appropriate times, but so often when he is upset that she is “so loud”, it doesn’t even seem outside the realm of normal children loudness to me. I asked her teachers if they have had any problems with it at school and they said no. I don’t want to invalidate his feelings, because I know there are things that bother some people and not others, but I feel like so much of our life is taken up with him getting angry with her because of her volume. I even bought him ear plugs to wear in the car.
I struggle a lot here because I was the loud kid growing up and I was never trying to be loud….i just was. I feel like I have to choose sides between defending my daughter and backing up my husband and I’m just so tired 😭

I’ve had my 15PM since October, and my USB-C port drops connections at the slightest movement of my phone or cable and/or constantly disconnects/reconnects itself. This happens with the original cable that came with my phone, and high quality Anker cables in my car. It has happened since I got the phone, and has gotten worse now. I’ve tried hard resets, erase content/settings, a full restore (when I could get it to stay connected to my laptop), keep current software, etc. It’s made CarPlay nearly unusable unless I can somehow get my phone in a cup holder so it doesn’t move, without it disconnecting first. Or if I’m lying down and it’s sitting next to me - I move my arm, connection drops. No water exposure, no dust or lint in the port. It’s so frustrating.
So my point of this post: I chatted with Apple Support and I have AppleCare+ w/ Loss & Theft. They want me to send it in for repair and mailed me a box to ship it to them. That means I don’t have a phone for a few days. Has anyone gotten a replacement phone for this issue instead? I remember express replacements used to cost when I did it for my iPhone 6 Plus with a cracked screen - but this should be a warranty issue. I’m about an hour and a half away from the nearest Apple Store, so that’s not really an option either.

Just looking for some opinions on this. My daughter went to Blackpool for the day yesterday and while there some scummy b has broken into her car. There is no damage to the car, so that's good and they stole £10 in change that was in the front of the car (in the "tray" under the dashboard). Nothing in the boot. The main problem is that her friend's car keys were stolen from the glove box. Her friend had only one set of keys (never understood why someone will sell a car without both sets of keys, but I digress), so has had to report this to the police and will have to claim her insurance. This is where I'm worried as my daughter may then have to tell her insurance and push her premium up at the end of the year. This is her first car and her first policy that cost us £2700 already and I'm not looking forward to next year if she has a claim or even if she has an "incident" recorded around this. Will get friend's insurance company claim my daughter's insurance or will that be a claim on her own insurance? It's not good for either of them as it's her friend's first policy as well.
The really annoying thing is that it was in a hotel car park and the keys they stole could be for a car anywhere in the country, or anywhere in the world even. Fucking stupid arseholes. What's the point on stealing those? Her friend's car is parked in a hotel car park three hundred miles away from there. I'm absolutely raging at this tbh. Sorry for the rant!

Just want to share what an easy and pain-free process it was renewing my car licence disc.
I received an SMS to remind me that my licence disk was expiring and followed the link to the CoCT website book a slot to renew. I chose my desired date, time (9:30) and municipal office. Today I arrived there 9:25 and checked in. I was promptly assisted and was out of there before 9:30.

• So what does this mean for positioning, as we saw equities push higher?
• Well, as was the case before CPI, we continue to see very bearish positioning on VIX. Traders expect VIX to continue lower, which will increase the liquidity that market makers add. This should support the market higher. nOt much anxiety and fear in the markets.
• Volatility should therefore remain suppressed, for this opex.
• 5300 is the wall to get above, but We see traders buying calls on 5400 now so traders are optimistic in medium term.
• Probably when we look at today, skew is flat, but positioning bullish. We can see choppy day as VIX delta ITM puts are still elevated.
• Sentiment v bullish over next month or more.
• When we look at FX, we see That EURUSD has pared gains, because DXY moved higher. This was mostly because EURUSD had got overbought, and DXY was starting to get short term oversold. When we look at positioning, we see traders still buying calls on 1.09. 1.08 will act as support now.
• GOLD and Silver still see strong positioning, 2400 is wall on Gold. Skew on both gold and silver point higher but seeing low volumes.
• On Oil, traders are looking bullish. The skew points higher, whilst price consolidates. Traders are expecting a bullish breakout soon as seasonal demand tends to pick up in summer. Oil is just currently stuck below 79 on WTI.
• On German market, we see traders still buying calls on 19k but low volumes. Needs v high volume to get to this 19k level. 19k is a massive wall. Today and yesterday, it comes down, but soon it will try to test again. Euro strength will help GER40 go higher.

• So retail sales came weak, industrial production was strong
• Unemployment rate in China fell to 5% from 5.2%, back to lowest level since November.

• SPX: Following CPI, we saw markets push from 5246, to close above 5300. Yesterday, we aw market reach 5325, partly as result of softer jobless numbers, which points to more rate cuts, before sell off lower below 5300. Now at 5295. 5300 will be resistance again that it will try to break above.
• Nasdaq: Before CPI was at 18,310 just below resistance, pushed higher to reach 18,650, before coming lower again to 18,555. 18600 is a resistance, before 19k as the key resistance.
• Dow: was trading at 39600 before CPI, pushed higher to 40k. Got rejected below 40k. 40k is key resistance to get above.
• GER40: Pushed higher with US markets to 18,910, close to the key 19k resistance which is v strong, before paring gains back to 18,662.
• UK100 just been flat amongst the highs at 8400-8450
• China50 higher with lower unemployment rate and higher industrial production, trading up by 1.5% to 12,850. Main resistance now is going to be 13k. China also announced measures to support housing market.
• HKG50: Trading at 19,500. Key resistance is 20k.
• OIL: still trading flat, skew pointing higher.
• GOLD trading higher after CPI, bounced close to 2400.
• Price of Copper surges to new highs.

FX:

• EURUSD hit 1.09 yesterday, before coming down back to 1.084 now. 1.09 was the wall.
• GBPUSD hit 1.27, before coming down to 1.265 now.
• USDJPY fell from 156 to 153.5, before recovering higher to 156 again now.
• AUDUSD moved higher above 0.67 before paring the gains.
• The paring of gains came as DXY fell to almost 104, before pushing higher from there to 104.8.

First post here. I'm M 21. Going through a "breakup" and I'm sober 1 month 7 days. Each day gets worse and worse. My ex gf who has Bpd and bipolar is still in my life. Wants none of the commitment after a year of dating she can't handle it and I was doomed from the start yet we still kiss and do everything else. • Nasdaq: Before CPI was at 18,310 just below resistance, pushed higher to reach 18,650, before coming lower again to 18,555. 18600 is a resistance, before 19k as the key resistance.
• Dow: was trading at 39600 before CPI, pushed higher to 40k. Got rejected below 40k. 40k is key resistance to get above.
• GER40: Pushed higher with US markets to 18,910, close to the key 19k resistance which is v strong, before paring gains back to 18,662.
• UK100 just been flat amongst the highs at 8400-8450
• China50 higher with lower unemployment rate and higher industrial production, trading up by 1.5% to 12,850. Main resistance now is going to be 13k. China also announced measures to support housing market.

I'll be travelling to Japan in a couple of weeks, and I'll be taking the Shinkansen (one way) from Tokyo to Osaka, and I'd like to buy my ticket online in advance (I'm not getting a JR pass, just a single ticket). I've tried using my VISA to book tickets through the smartEX website, and their app, both of which failed at the authentication step, I called my bank and (as other posts suggested would happen) they can't do anything for me. I don't have any other cards myself, but a family member (who isn't coming to Japan with me) has a Mastercard I could use. My question is whether this would be an issue, because the Mastercard isn't in my name (and you have to put the name on the card in when registering with smartEX), and I won't have it with me in Japan.
I know I could just wait and buy the ticket in person, but I'd really rather do it in advance because it ends up being about $60 cheaper if I can buy it online through smartEX. Also, I have a disability, and I'd prefer to minimise any stress and fuss at the gate. I have a Suica card already set up on my iPhone (which I used my VISA to top up, no problems there) and I'd really like to use the option of connecting my Shinkansen ticket to my Suica card so I can just tap my phone to get through the gate.
I've tried looking online for answers, but I can't seem to find any information about whether reserved seating Shinkansen tickets (I'll be using the green car) have your name printed on them (or are in any other way tied to your name/identity) etc., and/or whether there would be an issue with connecting my Shinkansen ticket to my Suica card because the names and credit cards associated with the accounts for each of them won't be the same.
If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it :)

• Core CPI came in line with survey, at 0.3%, heading slightly lower in MOM terms vs last month (0.3% vs 0.4% before).
• We can see its a similar scenario as before, with service inflation there, but goods in deflation.

• Following the print, Inflation swaps now price in lower CPI for next month, so traders are more optimistic on inflation to continue lower than they were before, especially as we see oil prices come down this month.
• Market continues to move on the number of rate cuts being priced in for this year. Right now markets continue to price 1 or 2 rate cuts.
• So what does this mean for positioning, as we saw equities push higher?
• Well, as was the case before CPI, we continue to see very bearish positioning on VIX. Traders expect VIX to continue lower, which will increase the liquidity that market makers add. This should support the market higher. nOt much anxiety and fear in the markets.
• Volatility should therefore remain suppressed, for this opex.
• 5300 is the wall to get above, but We see traders buying calls on 5400 now so traders are optimistic in medium term.
• Probably when we look at today, skew is flat, but positioning bullish. We can see choppy day as VIX delta ITM puts are still elevated.
• Sentiment v bullish over next month or more.
• When we look at FX, we see That EURUSD has pared gains, because DXY moved higher. This was mostly because EURUSD had got overbought, and DXY was starting to get short term oversold. When we look at positioning, we see traders still buying calls on 1.09. 1.08 will act as support now.
• GOLD and Silver still see strong positioning, 2400 is wall on Gold. Skew on both gold and silver point higher but seeing low volumes.
• On Oil, traders are looking bullish. The skew points higher, whilst price consolidates. Traders are expecting a bullish breakout soon as seasonal demand tends to pick up in summer. Oil is just currently stuck below 79 on WTI.

I moved into a rowhome in the city about 2 years ago. It's not in a NICE area, but it's certainly not what I would consider "the hood". Recently the neighbor at the end of the block moved out. It's a high foot traffic area near a mini mart, so I'm used to the sounds of the city and minor annoyances like the occasional loud party or passing car bumping bass.
Recently it's gotten worse. People have started using the empty porches to throw parties, do drugs, drink, idle their cars with the music up, litter, break glass, and openly sell drugs. I don't gaf what they're doing to their own bodies, that's not my business. What is my business, is that I haven't had a proper night's sleep in 2 weeks and I think I'm losing my mind. The bass vibrates my whole house, it's inescapable, I'm a prisoner in my own home. I have anxiety every time I hear music outside. I can't get rid of this migraine. I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.
I've tried asking nicely and been threatened and cursed at. Most people turn it down and wait until I leave to turn it back up. I've called the cops. If they even show up, people scatter for 5-10mins and they're back as soon as it's clear again.
I'm looking for a non violent, non confrontational deterrent that I can set up nearby. One that can't be traced back to me. I already feel like someone is going to throw a brick through my front window. It's getting pretty bad.
Flood lights on my porch? Essence of skunk? Hidden air horn? Should I take up the bagpipes? Dress up in a bunny suit and mean mug passerbys?
Help me out here reddit, I have another year on my lease and we can't afford to move.

ANALYSIS:

• CPI update:
• Core CPI came in line with survey, at 0.3%, heading slightly lower in MOM terms vs last month (0.3% vs 0.4% before).
• We can see its a similar scenario as before, with service inflation there, but goods in deflation.

• Significantly, shelter inflation MOM is finally below 0.4%, which was the main headline of the print.

• Following the print, Inflation swaps now price in lower CPI for next month, so traders are more optimistic on inflation to continue lower than they were before, especially as we see oil prices come down this month.
• Market continues to move on the number of rate cuts being priced in for this year. Right now markets continue to price 1 or 2 rate cuts.
• So what does this mean for positioning, as we saw equities push higher?
• Well, as was the case before CPI, we continue to see very bearish positioning on VIX. Traders expect VIX to continue lower, which will increase the liquidity that market makers add. This should support the market higher. nOt much anxiety and fear in the markets.
• Volatility should therefore remain suppressed, for this opex.
• 5300 is the wall to get above, but We see traders buying calls on 5400 now so traders are optimistic in medium term.
• Probably when we look at today, skew is flat, but positioning bullish. We can see choppy day as VIX delta ITM puts are still elevated.
• Sentiment v bullish over next month or more.
• When we look at FX, we see That EURUSD has pared gains, because DXY moved higher. This was mostly because EURUSD had got overbought, and DXY was starting to get short term oversold. When we look at positioning, we see traders still buying calls on 1.09. 1.08 will act as support now.
• GOLD and Silver still see strong positioning, 2400 is wall on Gold. Skew on both gold and silver point higher but seeing low volumes.
• On Oil, traders are looking bullish. The skew points higher, whilst price consolidates. Traders are expecting a bullish breakout soon as seasonal demand tends to pick up in summer. Oil is just currently stuck below 79 on WTI.
• On German market, we see traders still buying calls on 19k but low volumes. Needs v high volume to get to this 19k level. 19k is a massive wall. Today and yesterday, it comes down, but soon it will try to test again. Euro strength will help GER40 go higher.

DATA LEDE:

• China Industrial production YOY came 6.7% up, vs 5.5% expected
• China Retail sales came 2.3% YOY vs 3.8% expected
• So retail sales came weak, industrial production was strong
• Unemployment rate in China fell to 5% from 5.2%, back to lowest level since November.
• NOTE: China also announced measures from PBOC to support housing market.
  
• Final revision to inflation rate in Eurozone came in in line with preliminary readings. No change.
  
• US leading index comes out later, after market opens. Expected to show deteriorating leading economic indicators
  

MARKETS:

• SPX: Following CPI, we saw markets push from 5246, to close above 5300. Yesterday, we aw market reach 5325, partly as result of softer jobless numbers, which points to more rate cuts, before sell off lower below 5300. Now at 5295. 5300 will be resistance again that it will try to break above.
• Nasdaq: Before CPI was at 18,310 just below resistance, pushed higher to reach 18,650, before coming lower again to 18,555. 18600 is a resistance, before 19k as the key resistance.
• Dow: was trading at 39600 before CPI, pushed higher to 40k. Got rejected below 40k. 40k is key resistance to get above.
• GER40: Pushed higher with US markets to 18,910, close to the key 19k resistance which is v strong, before paring gains back to 18,662.
• UK100 just been flat amongst the highs at 8400-8450
• China50 higher with lower unemployment rate and higher industrial production, trading up by 1.5% to 12,850. Main resistance now is going to be 13k. China also announced measures to support housing market.
• HKG50: Trading at 19,500. Key resistance is 20k.
• OIL: still trading flat, skew pointing higher.
• GOLD trading higher after CPI, bounced close to 2400.
• Price of Copper surges to new highs.

FX:

• EURUSD hit 1.09 yesterday, before coming down back to 1.084 now. 1.09 was the wall.
• GBPUSD hit 1.27, before coming down to 1.265 now.
• USDJPY fell from 156 to 153.5, before recovering higher to 156 again now.
• AUDUSD moved higher above 0.67 before paring the gains.
• The paring of gains came as DXY fell to almost 104, before pushing higher from there to 104.8.

MAG7:

• NVDA lower in premarket as Microsoft unveils AMD powered AI chips to rival NVDA. Theyre offering their cloud customers AMD AI processors as an alternative to NVDA.
• TSLA - raised price of Model 3 performance for 2nd time in US by $1k, bringing it to $54,990. Increased price fo white interior for model 3 by $500, now priced at $2000.
• META - starting to test a Tweetdeck like experience for threads.
• NFLX - adds more buy side partners to its budding advertising business. Includes TTD, which had been MSFT’s role exclusively up until this point. GOOGL also added to programmatic partners for advertisers.
• MSFT - EU demands clarity from Microsoft on AI risks in bing.
• MSFT - As mentioned, Microsoft unveils AMD powered AI chips to rival NVDA.

• Sees adjusted EPS of 1.83-2.19 (vs estimate of 1.83). So ahead of expectations

Art of Rally [Game Size: 2.3 GB] ($4.99)

Art of Rally is a rally racing game with an amazing atmosphere, several fun game modes that range from casual to hardcore, and deep gameplay customization settings.
The main career mode has us play through several years of rally history on tracks all around the world, unlocking new cars and skins as we progress.
In addition to the campaign, however, there is a custom rally mode, a time-attack mode where we can try all of the game’s vehicles, a free-roam mode where we drive around a large open world to collect items, and daily and weekly online events with leaderboards.
What I like the best about Art of Rally is that it can be as casual or hardcore as you want. Free roaming is a fun laid-back experience while the time-attack modes are incredibly challenging. And even in the career mode, we can pick the difficulty of our AI opponents.
The touch controls are okay but lack different options. Thankfully, the game plays perfectly with a Bluetooth controller, and there are lots of customization options for everything from the HUD to the interface and gameplay, including changing the steering sensitivity, enabling anti-lock braking, and much more.
The game has a great atmosphere, and the low-poly art style and minimalistic UI fit nicely. Unfortunately, loading between menus and levels is slow, and I ran into a few minor bugs - so the game isn’t perfectly ported from PC.
Art of Rally is a $4.99 premium game with a single $1.99 optional DLC that adds additional map areas.
It’s a game more about precision than driving super-fast, so if that’s what you’re looking for, I think you’ll enjoy Art of Rally – especially if you have a controller to play it with.

Level Devil - NOT A Troll Game [Total Game Size: 87 MB] (Free)

Level Devil is an easy arcade platformer with no surprises or frustrations at all… or is it?
The game has us move left, right, and jump to navigate seemingly simple one-screen stages. But as we progress, the game starts trolling us in lots of unexpected ways.
Floors suddenly disappear beneath our feet, spikes spawn at what looks like safe spots, and the game sometimes even changes the rules of physics by lowering the gravity or reversing it altogether.
So you better be prepared for some rage-inducing deaths. But to me, the game’s main appeal is exactly these unexpected twists. The game quickly becomes all about anticipating the next troll attempt, and nothing beats the satisfaction I got from outsmarting a level in my first attempt.
There are 80 stages in total, with the game autosaving every 5 stages. And while some stages are challenging, they’re all short and concise. The controls are also simple and responsive. Unfortunately, there is no music at all, and the graphics are very minimal, with just a single yellow-reddish color scheme that gets old in no time.
Level Devil monetizes via occasional forced ads between levels and deaths, and a $0.99 iAP to remove these for good. Thankfully, I didn’t personally find the ads to be too intrusive, even with me dying a lot.
Despite being a troll game, it balances overall fun vs. overall difficulty very well. So I was able to complete it relatively easily without getting too frustrated. You could say I had a "devilish good time" beating the game.

Loop Hero [Game Size: 250 MB] (Free Trial)

Loop Hero is a mobile port of an incredibly unique tactical roguelike that mixes lots of gameplay elements, including deck-building, auto-battling, resource management, and city-building.
We begin the game in a place outside space and time on a dangerous path that forms a loop. Our character traverses the loop on his own, automatically fighting the enemies that spawn every day. These encounters provide us with loot that we equip to grow stronger and cards that are used to alter the loop.
Playing a card somewhere on the path changes what happens every time our hero walks through that part of the loop. For example, we may place a grove that spawns a rat every 2 days, which we then fight to grow stronger. This ability to customize the loop is one of the most unique aspects of the game, and I really enjoyed it.
After our first campfire is built, we begin to meet heroes who are just as lost as we are. Through short dialogues with them, we start to learn about the game’s light city-building mechanics. There are plenty of buildings to construct that offer all kinds of new and interesting gameplay mechanics - and even new classes to go on expeditions with.
What I immediately appreciated about Loop Hero was its top-notch soundtrack reminiscent of early 8-bit games like Castlevania, and the sprites that are stylized to match the gloomy setting but still vibrant in their design.
The biggest downside is that my large fingers sometimes made it hard to see where I was placing things. The game is definitely best enjoyed on larger phones.
Loop Hero is free to try, with a single $6.99 iAP unlocking the full game.
If you enjoy excellent roguelikes with unique gameplay mechanics, I think you’ll enjoy Loop Hero.

Tumble Rush [Game Size: 159 MB] (Free)

Tumble Rush is a fun, fast-paced marble maze arcade game where we guide a ball through small top-down levels while avoiding obstacles, traps, and holes.
Apart from rolling around with our sphere character, the only other thing we can do is tap an interaction button that activates/deactivates doors, turn on fans that let us get over obstacles, and much more.
Despite the additional puzzle elements introduced along the way, the game is very easy in the beginning – maybe even to a fault. I quickly grew bored with the early levels. But thankfully, if you stick with the game, it eventually becomes much harder.
The coins we collect in each level are used to unlock new cosmetics for our character. But what’s really cool is that they also completely change the design and theme of every level. So unlocking cosmetics quickly became my primary objective.
While the standard mode is relatively easy and lacks a bit of variety, the game also features a much more challenging time attack mode, where we attempt to finish levels fast enough to earn three stars. And if we get bored with that, there’s an endless mode where we earn more and more gold the further we get.
The standard gyroscopic controls work alright, but I personally preferred one of the touch control options.
Tumble Rush monetizes by showing ads between levels. They appear relatively frequently but can thankfully be removed via a single $1.99 iAP.
It’s an arcade game that gets better the further you get. So if you’re looking for a fun game that can be played as casually or competitively as you want, I think you might like Tumble Rush.

SOULVARS is a futuristic mix of a jRPG and a deck builder, where we fight demonic creatures using a deck of cards produced by the gear we equip.
Working for a secret government organization, our job is to maintain peace by engaging in bloody confrontations with hungry spirits that invade the human world via spontaneous portal-like breaches.
The combat system is quite elaborate. First of all, our deck is defined by the gear we equip, and each card lets us execute an action, such as using a shield, performing various elemental attacks, or dealing different types of physical damage.
Picking two different types of cards allows us to perform devastating combo actions. But we must also pay attention to our enemies’ resistances, constantly charge our “burst” meter to eventually turn into a powerful monster, and link together attacks of multiple characters. And this is just a small portion of the game’s many combat mechanics.
Mindlessly executing random moves works for a while, but we eventually face enemies so strong that this tactic isn’t enough. This is where the game's complex combat systems comes into play, and we need to learn all its intricacies and meticulously manage our equipment to win. This will be too challenging for some players, but a joy for others.
The exploration part of the game consists of navigating maze-like rooms, interacting with the environment, collecting loot, talking to people, and engaging in random battles - an old jRPG structure that is apparently still popular among certain audiences.
SOULVARS is a premium game that costs $4.99.
While the game’s repetitiveness and unengaging plot eventually make the gameplay a bit boring, there’s more than enough entertainment for fans of complex combat systems.
