I am creating decals using Inkscape. My problem is this: I made the decals for a Dastun 240Z BRE, but the top half of the body is going to be painted red (I use cheap spray cans, not much money) so the chance of finding a spray can red that matches the BRE red of the decal are slim. Given this, I'd rather going the other way round and match the decal color to the spray can color. I am thinking of spraying the paint on a surface, taking a picture of it and uploading it in Inkscape, but because of lighting conditions, the colors may not match. Has anyone encountered this issue?
