2024.05.18 09:47 Dense-Bumblebee-9589 Partner got arrested

In NY state , both of us are early 20s. __ Going to get food and my partner didn’t turn on the signal out of 7/11, on a one way road. So the police followed us and pulled us over. His car was also going over the white line slightly because his wheel alignment is off. They pulled us over and instantly two of them shined light into the car. I want to say I asked why we got pulled over but they said they couldn’t say ???? And asked me to step out and if I ever got arrested before. I said no, cop instantly touched me and I said don’t touch me. Asked to search me, I had nothing on me ? So I was like ok. Dude didn’t ask me at first, either way for a stop like turn signal and stuff, asking us to step out of the vehicle isn’t ok correct? They also turned off their body cams , I heard it . Said “ recording stopped”.
My partner on the other hand gave permission for them to search car. They were really pushy if he was caring weapons, and stuff. He’s brown so he was getting grilled, asking where we met, how we met, etc, and if I’m ok and stuff. 😪
My bf could have denied for the search correct? Weren’t they legally have to tell us why we were pulled over?he had mushrooms from a decriminalized state , and had them from then and guess he forgot??? He was arrested, and now idk what’s going on. No phone call yet. Idk how these things work.

2024.05.18 06:42 Medium_Proof7304 Brazil’s Varginha alien , Peru’s Nazca alien mummies, and Mexico..

Been catching up on all these cases and thought I’d put my two cents in on what’s know in my family’s hometown in Mexico. They live in the countryside mostly in the sierra surrounded by mountains, forests, and caves.
To give a quick background ever since I was a little kid I’ve heard stories from my grandparents and other elder family members about things they would see in the sierra at night . Grandparents and other family members grew up very rural no plumbing and no electricity
They would say that strange lights can be seen at night going from one mountain to the next. Now this these stories go from back when they were young in the 40s-60s to the present. No helicopters in that part of Mexico in those days . Sure enough that sounds like UFO to me .
Now back to the creeper part . Many people to this day avoid going to the caves because there are “others” that live there and coming across them would either bring you good or bad luck depending on the situation .
These “others” would be described as duendes or gnome like which is a very well known creature in Mexican lore . I think it’s all connected to varginha alien which was rumored to come from a cave and the nazca alien bodies that were found in Peru .
On another note I just got back from there a few days ago and the current gossip was that a neighbor around my dads age went into a cave a few weeks ago. They said he came out shocked and unable to talk for weeks. Who knows what he saw and what happened to him
He seemed better when I saw him but when someone asked he would turn serious and deny it but you can see the uncomfortable look he got like he’s traumatized or something

2024.05.18 06:11 Much_Tale_8412 Question for the pros

Question for the pros
I am creating decals using Inkscape. My problem is this: I made the decals for a Dastun 240Z BRE, but the top half of the body is going to be painted red (I use cheap spray cans, not much money) so the chance of finding a spray can red that matches the BRE red of the decal are slim. Given this, I'd rather going the other way round and match the decal color to the spray can color. I am thinking of spraying the paint on a surface, taking a picture of it and uploading it in Inkscape, but because of lighting conditions, the colors may not match. Has anyone encountered this issue? Any help is appreciated. Txs
