While I don’t mind who’s on the other side of the screen, I am only interested in writing FxM and FxF stories at this time. Something I really value in my partner is the feeling of excitement, especially when planning and plotting. I’ve been writing on and off for about ten years now. I can write in either POV and typically write anywhere from one to five paragraphs depending on what the story needs. I tend to match my partner’s length but definitely prefer responses on the longer end. I tend to write openly and freely, so I will sometimes mix up present and past tense. I’m not a huge stickler on grammar, just please have good spelling at least.
Circling back to the title, I’d absolutely love to write some relaxing slice of life with someone! Right now, I’m looking to play a pair of coed best friends who are super cute and wholesome with each other. Maybe they’re naturally flirtatious, but the pressure of a formal romance just doesn’t exist. I’d love to see these two characters go on adventures with each other, support one another through drama, and cuddle in each other’s arms without ulterior motives. Maybe there’s a push and pull between them when it comes to romantic elements, but I don’t necessarily want a romantic end game. Instead of romance being the driving plot, perhaps the story is more about our characters and their hobbies/interests/careers, etc. We can go really wild with how our two characters know each other exactly, let's live a little larger than life!

Hey everyone,
I need some advice about a complicated situation I'm in. About 3 months ago, I met this girl, and we started seeing each other. We talked a lot and spent a good amount of time together for about a month. Initially, I was really drawn to her because she seemed kind, nice, and smart, but I quickly realized she also has a tendency to be very intense and demanding.
When we spent nights together, she would want to stay up until 4 or 5 a.m. just talking and cuddling. At first, I was okay with it, but then it started to bother me because I need to sleep by 10 or 11 p.m. She, on the other hand, didn’t have the same need for sleep, and this became a source of tension.
She would often demand a lot of attention, even when I was busy with friends. Despite her sweet and caring nature, her behavior started to overwhelm me. She would get upset if I didn’t spend enough time with her and became very clingy.
She is 22 and im 23 and I took her virginity, which made her very attached to me. Also she has some very contradictory traits. She is very crazy and wants to have sex all the time when we meet, but she is also very shy and often wouldn’t make eye contact with me.
One time, I was at a coffee shop and sent her a picture of me there. She stalked me and came to that same coffee shop to see me, even though I said we were not going to meet that day and that I was meeting with someone else there. She still came, which made me very upset, and we ended up arguing. She does some crazy and wild things that make me very, very angry and upset.
However, when we make up, she becomes so different. She’s incredibly attractive, sexy, caring, and sweet. She makes me feel really good during those times, and I enjoy being with her. But despite these good moments, I still worry that she will revert to her bad behavior.
I lost interest in her when she started acting very immature. She would drink and do stupid things that turned me off. Eventually, I decided to block her because I couldn’t handle her behavior anymore, but after that, she even came to my apartment wanting to see me, which made me feel uncomfortable.
At first, I thought I was crazy for feeling this way, but over time, I started to feel conflicted. I realized that despite everything, I did care about her and we had fun together.
Now, I'm at a crossroads. I still have feelings for her, but I'm not sure if unblocking her is the right move. Part of me wants to give her another chance, but another part of me is worried things will go back to the way they were.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Should I unblock her and try to work things out, or is it better to keep my distance? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

I got my PC with 1100 something hours into Rimworld on my PS5. Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve played the greatest colony of all time. It was like Christmas seeing all the awesome things I’ve missed out on with console. I’ve never finished a game. I get too attached, so I play them until I eventually get tired of the game. This time, it was different. I began my story with a sanguophage start.
A PC noob, I didn’t pay attention and didn’t realize that just clicking on a colonist wasn’t choosing to crash with them. I was overwhelmed and accidentally landed with the best pair I could’ve asked for.
19 year old Imp turned vampire, Grump. Kind, beautiful, and iron-willed. Mega. Fucking. Chad. 19 year old human, Onesan, too smart, industrious, and steadfast. How did I get so lucky?? I swear, it was entirely accidental. In fact, when I saw their names, I was pissed because I meant to choose someone else. I have no idea how I failed upward, but I did. I don’t even know how I got them because I hadn’t even registered them in the choices before landing.
Within two days, Grump and Onesan became lovers. Together, they began digging a mountain base that would soon become a cannibal holy Mecca and kickstart a chain of events that had never been experienced in all of my Rim history: I let them leave.
In the ten years this colony trudged onward, Grump and Onesan, power couple sent straight from the gods, welcomed several newcomers to their home and to their faith.
My favorite newcomer, and the third addition to the colony, crash-landed Yttakin, Wyn’barrot was most instrumental in the colony’s survival. She trained a pack of cougars, panthers, and elephants and kept the colony alive with her hunting expertise, claiming the life of every wild elephant that dare step foot on our tile with her animal sidekicks in tow.
How remiss I would be to not mention Madam, the pregnant refugee who begged for shelter and never left. She gave birth to a son named Lucky, the first child in our colony, and if there ever was a chosen one, he was it. The boy’s growth moments were accompanied by the perfect trait choices. He was pretty, steadfast, and sanguine. A man who put Chris Kyle to shame with his trusty sniper rifle.
Grump and Onesan went on to have four children, one of which had an (illegitimate) child with golden boy Lucky, blessing them with grandbabies as well.
Wyn’barrot and her genie husband, Sale, who dreamt of melee combat, but was genetically cursed to live behind a fabrication bench for his entire life, had a few children of their own. We even managed to capture Wyn’barrot’s sister, Ro, during a raid and she became a full fledged member of the colony herself, hunting and handling at her sister’s side.
There are many others who contributed greatly to the colony’s success. Pinachite, the mole person doctor and miner, whom without our sprawling base would never have been as grand as it was. Sky, Madam’s husband, whose abrasive personality started many a social fight, but melee skill saved many a life. Flo, the ancient doctor, who killed Madam’s second son and only with Sky, but paid her blood debt by delivering her grandchild and subsequently saving the baby from a particularly nasty case of malaria. Ittark, the Yttakin with a penchant for plants, whose sowing skills kept the meals lavish and plentiful.
After many adventures, many hard raids, moments of wanting to rage quit, I managed to load them all up into the ship, and for the first time in my history of playing, I loved them so much, I let them go.

I love this show since I was a kid. It impacted me on the most fundamental molecular basis and engraved itself within me. That´s why even though I really didn´t like most of the episodes since RTD return (I didn´t like Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder was a dissapointment to me, Giggle started good but I am not a fan of Bi-generation, and Ncuti´s series was so far not so good in my opinion... space babies my ass...) And mainly with the new season, my main turn-off was the Doctor himself. Now, my reason for disliking him is not the color of his skin, or his sexual orientation, I am not primitive... To be honest, I didn´t know why I didn´t like him. I felt like Clara in Deep Breath, looking at the Doctor and not seeing him. Well today I watched Boom, expected to be let down by Ncuti´s Doctor once again. But, behold, the Lord and Saviour Steven Moffat did it. Ncuti actually felt like the Doctor to me. Maybe it was because I felt a bit of "Capaldi writing" at times, the Doctor rambled a lot more like he used to, being critical to things and not just being an "optimistic goofball" like I saw him in the previous episodes. And that´s when it hit me, I finally understood why I had such a problem with Ncuti. It was... because he was black. (jk) It was, because RTD has in my opinion done a terrible job transitioning the Doctor into this new "Disney+ era". Ncuti didn´t regenerate like any other Doctor, leaving David Tennant still in the game. He even got his TARDIS, so Ncuti didn´t even feel like the "Main Doctor". The Sonic looks drastically different. Ncuti´s Doctor has moved past all the pain and hurt the most of the modern era Doctors were to some extent defined by. Ncuti also acts in a different way compared to other Doctors (not a bad thing, but it didn´t help) and I am also not a fan of how often Ncuti changes his clothes. It always felt like a huge part of the Doctors character, it defined each one. 9th Doctor and his leather jacket, 10 and his long-ass coats and Converse, 11 and the BOW TIES (so cool), 12 had kinda boring look his first season, but I loved the hoodies under the coat, his shoes, and overall bigger style in the later seasons. He changed his outfit more often, but they always fit in a certain look.
So, what am I blabbering about? Ncuti´s era has gone through just a shit ton of changes alongside some bad decisions, it just made me not feel like his portrayal was particularly good. However, with Boom, with Moffat coming back and bringing the old writing with him, it made it possible for me to see. And I mean, we are just a few episodes into his first season, so of course he still has a lot of time to make the role his own, however I saw everyone from the day he was announced just loving him and the casting choice and praised him from the second he was on screen, I felt left out, because I didn´t get it. I am still giving Ncuti time to truly show what his character is going to be like, but I am finally able to call Ncuti Gatwa the 15th Doctor.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a wild story from my early days in the cybersecurity field. Back when I was just starting out, I stumbled upon a vulnerability in a well-known social media platform. It was one of those moments where you think, 'This can't be real,' but it was. The exploit allowed me to access private messages without any authentication. I reported it immediately, and the platform patched it up quickly, but the adrenaline rush was unforgettable. 😅
Fast forward a few years, and I’ve been diving deeper into OSINT (Open Source Intelligence). It’s fascinating how much information you can gather from publicly available sources. I remember a case where we had to track down a missing person using just their email and phone number. We pieced together their digital footprint, and it led to a breakthrough in the case. It felt like being in a real-life detective movie!
Speaking of OSINT, have any of you tried using AI-based tools for image analysis? I recently came across a platform that offers some pretty advanced features for this kind of work. It’s amazing how much easier it makes the whole process, especially when you’re dealing with vast amounts of data. The platform is called Effect Group, and it’s been a game-changer for me in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

I'm I the only one that thinks the blind is wildly OP. I don't mind the dash. But I feel the long blind is way OP, even without the dash. It has little to none counterplay, you simply can't see to play out a teamfight correctly.
How do you deal with it?

Reading all of these stories made me want to share this tale from 6-7 years ago about a particularly difficult baby boomer that was newly hired at my old job.
It was a call center position, but the company was business-to-business in a respectable industry so there was a slightly higher standard of professionalism/decorum expected. It paid well for what it was, and since it was B2B, the customers calling in were people who themselves were working professionals at their job so very rarely would you be subjected to the abuse that typical call center works face from the general public. It was a relaxing environment and there was a lot of opportunity to grow. There would be a few different computer systems to learn, but our training process was very patient. We didn't require that much experience and we believed that anyone could be taught. In fact, for a lot of people in our department it was their very first job in an office. We would train the new-hires for as long as it would take to get them up and running on their own, usually a full month or two. Looking back I can honestly say it was a good place to work and a good opportunity. I owe a lot to my time there.
So anyway they hired "Beth", a woman in her mid-60s who claimed to have office experience, and was apparently very charming in her interview. I was there for a few years, was well-liked, regarded as good worker and had a few micro-promotions so I was selected to train her until she was ready to work on her own.
From the first day of training there were problems. Mainly that she had a very short fuse; she would be very pleasant and flowery on the surface, but was extremely quick to a cartoonish level anger if she felt even the smallest amount of frustration. She had also apparently oversold her technical proficiency in the interview process, and we quickly learned that she was pretty much computer-illiterate. You can imagine that this is an explosive combination.
The first sign of trouble was within the first ten minutes of me sitting with her when she started angrily grunting because she couldn't open a computer program because she was Right-Clicking the icon. I had to explain that you have to Left-Click it, and then when she left-clicked only once, highlighting the icon but not opening the program, I clarified that you had to double-left-click it, she abruptly shouted at me (on the floor) "Then why don't you just SAY that?!?!?". Oh fuck.
Similar things started to happen more and more and it was clear that this was going to be an exercise in patience. While some of our computer systems admittedly took some getting used to, she would get flustered while using them and start ranting about how complicated it was. The irritating part about this was she was directing these rants at me as if I personally programmed the computer systems. She would use that overly personal language that boomers use when complaining about something to service workers (like "Why did you charge me X....", "You sent me a defective product!" etc)... but she was a new hire and i was her trainer. Weirdly, she would apologize for being frustrated, but would just end up snapping again.
A few weeks in, she started clashing with some of the other workers and started to interject politics into unrelated topics (Need I specify her leanings?). It got back to me that she was bad mouthing me to my co-workers/friends in the breakroom, saying that I don't know what I'm doing. She told one of my co-workers that I said something dopey (she mischaracterized what I said) and so "she slapped me on the back of my head", which did not happen. I didn't bring this up to her because the coworker she told this to asked me not to say anything. My supervisors were aware of all of this, and I was gearing up to tell my manager that I don't want to train her anymore; but on the other hand it was very clear that she was not going to last through the probationary period. I stopped trying to be friendly with her and went through the motions of training her because I wanted to look good to the bosses and knew it wouldnt be for much longer anyway.
It turns out that I was correct. One day during lunch, Beth was sitting in the breakroom on lunch and one of our co-workers was talking about a local incident where a man randomly assaulted a woman in public. It turns out the co-worker telling this story was in some way personally connected to the victim. The other employees offer condolences, comment on how horrible that is, ask how the victim is doing, etc. What Beth decides to blurt out is "Was he SPANISH!?!?"
...my co-worker telling the story was hispanic as were a few of the other workers in the room. I wasn't there for this incident but I wish I was, because apparently she was told-off in spectacular fashion.
As you can imagine she was let go very shortly after this for many reasons. Just every now and then I think about Beth and all the Beths of the world. The level of delusion and self-importance.

As Mark turned the corner, Tom saw the gun.
“They’re in here, I know it!” Mark yelled exhausted. He hadn’t slept much since the nightmare, but he knew what was going on. They had come back for him, they weren’t done.
“Who? Who’s here? It’s just you, me, and the roaches right now buddy.” Tom said softly, as to not rile him up anymore.
“Stay the hell away from me! I know you’re one of them.” Mark furrowed his brow as he waved the gun in Tom’s direction. Nothing but fear, and the gloss of tears in his eyes. His body was present, but Mark was not.
This wasn’t a time for hesitation. This, Tom knew for certain. “Calm down buddy, we’re going to help you.”
“There is no helping, they’re always watching. I see them in the windows, in the doorways, always in the shadows. Always in the shadows.” Mark was becoming fidgety, he was shaking. His voice was uneven, with the constant shifting of tones.
“Just put the gun down. We’ll take you somewhere with plenty of light.” About this, Tom was serious.
Before Mark could make any more accusations or threats. Tom lifted his gun from its holster and fired three shots. Two of which, hit Mark in the chest and stomach. The last had been off target, (never was the sharpest eye in the academy) but the two that hit got the job done.
With a thud, Mark slumped to his knees. “They, they’re here.” He sighed out his last breath. Dropping the weapon onto the tarnished wooden floor.
Tom re-holstered his firearm, and approached with caution. Sure he could wrestle the gun out of his hands, should he find the energy for round two.
No need, Mark was gone.
Tom, being a combat veteran, wasn’t shaken. Though he was a little sad for the poor guy, obviously something wasn’t right with him.
“Officer Daniels, are you alright?” A voice came from the radio on his chest.
“Yeah, I’m still here. We’re going to need medical on the second floor.”
“Is he dead? We heard shots.” The voice sounded worried.
“Looks like it, but I’m alive, and I need a beer.” He kicks Marks gun toward the exit, and sits down beside him waiting for paramedics.
Later that night he comes home, hugging his wife and two kids. After a long night he usually grabs a beer from the fridge, and tells his family about the eventful day of work. However, this time he feels the need for something stronger and wanders to the cabinet. He pours himself a glass of whatever has the highest proof. Tonight that happened to be Wild Turkey 101, he sipped his whiskey on his favorite La-Z-Boy chair. Then he was off to bed. That night, he has a nightmare.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a little story about how I stumbled upon a hidden talent of mine through ethical hacking. A few years back, I was just an average Joe working a 9-5 job, feeling pretty uninspired. One day, I decided to dive into the world of ethical hacking, purely out of curiosity. I traced the emails back to a sketchy source and even helped her secure her accounts. It felt amazing to use my skills for good and to actually make a difference. That experience really solidified my passion for ethical hacking.
Fast forward to today, and I’ve managed to turn this passion into a side gig. I’ve helped small businesses secure their networks and even conducted a few penetration tests for local companies. It's been a wild ride, and I’ve learned so much along the way. One of the tools that really helped me gather information efficiently was this open-source research platform I came across, which allows you to search for publicly available info on individuals. It’s super handy for gathering strategic data without breaking any laws.

Someone is trying to ruin my marriage
A couple days ago my husband got a text from a person claiming im cheating with them. My husband has been texting this person for 2 days now. He wont show me the messages or give me details. I think because he’s believing them.
The little tidbits my husband has let slip is the phone number (it’s a TextNow number-I tried calling it), that this person told him I said he’s a bad dad, and that this person has sent “evidence” or “proof.” I also know they called me by name.
I can’t even begin to imagine what this person has said. Me and my husband are both active duty military. The number has the area code of where we live, so this person is most likely local. We don’t have friends really outside our units so it’s someone one of us works with. I suspect someone I work with more than my husbands coworkers because I’ve had issues with some higher ups at work in the last year. I think it’s probably someone with kids because I don’t think someone without kids would think to make up the “bad dad” lie. The other alternative in my mind is that there’s some crazy woman who is secretly obsessed with my husband and trying to ruin our marriage. Whoever it is obviously has something wrong with them mentally.
Another reason I suspect someone I work with is because they would know all the times my husband is gone (he’s gone often) and in my mind that’s the only logical “evidence” they could have is mentioning times I would have been cheating. That and the fact that this is obviously an attack on me and not him. This is meant to hurt me. And I have people in my work center who don’t like me. Never thought any of them would do something this deranged though.
Im frustrated with my husband and freaking out because of the situation. Adultery is against the UCMJ and this accusation could ruin my career. If this person is ballsy enough to message my husband lies with a clear intent to break us up or cause issues between us. And is dedicated enough to use a fake number and continue on talking to him, they are absolutely capable of making a report to my commander. Even if it’s found not to be true it will still negatively effect my career. You can’t do damage control after an accusation like that.
Without knowing the context of the messages I’m speculating a lot. I know my husband stayed up all night messaging this person and he made a comment about how he was obviously drunk and then this morning he suddenly didn’t have a lot to say.
My husband is trying to find out who it is and says he’ll share the identity if he finds out, but that’s it. Im also trying to find out who it is but have been wildly unsuccessful because of the use of a texting app. I’ve thought about filing a police report for defamation and seeing if they’ll trace the number, but I don’t have any proof because my husband won’t share the messages.
To be clear I have never cheated on my husband, messaged another man, anything. We’ve been rocky for a good bit of our marriage which may explain why he’s not believing me, but I love the hell out of him and things were just starting to get better in the last couple months.
All that to ask, does anyone have any advice? Know of a way to trace this person? Anything?

A bit about me: I love old school turn based jrpg's (SaGa Frontier, Chrono Trigger, Wild Arms, I can go on) and am currently replaying Dragon Quest XI as well as a fresh game of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, tabletop rpg's (D&D, 7th Sea, Desolation etc.), and music (such as stoner metal/rock, hair metal, some hip-hop, although I like many things).
For the boring stuff: No kids, never married. I work from home and spend my days working on reports. More interesting stuff: I am a dog mom (her name is Honey Havok) and snake lover (all animals, really), liberal, love to cook, a bit of a wrestling mark (AEW, GCW, NJPW, etc.), and love to learn new things.
The real stuff: I am demi/asexual, and have depression and anxiety. This means I am not always the easiest woman to deal with and my moods can fluctuate. I try not to take my feelings out on others though, I'm just a bit of a crybaby. I am currently living in MA although not exactly married to the area. I'm thinking of moving back to NH eventually.
In general, I am pretty laid back, have an odd sense of humor (give me all your questionable memes, dad jokes and dark humor). I'm also a little spooky in that I love taxidermy and wet specimens. I don't have a huge collection (yet) but it's growing slowly.
As for the kind of men I enjoy...I tend to like them nerdy, strong, and even possibly intimidating. Tattoos are a plus as is a well-kept, very short beard. Mohawks are one of my weaknesses. I also greatly value good communication skills and a sense of humor. I would like for us to be able to express ourselves without fear of judgement and be able to laugh at the absurdity of life together. I love the written word and appreciate men that are intelligent, witty, and able to participate in a little banter. Make me fall for your words and mind.
I am ideally looking for a non-smoking 30+ nerdy and/or alt guy with a good personality, similar interests, is in or near the US (possibly open to someone who would relocate to the northeast), and who is open to something serious after we get to know each other and build up a close friendship. A bit about me: I love old school turn based jrpg's (SaGa Frontier, Chrono Trigger, Wild Arms, I can go on) and am currently replaying Dragon Quest XI as well as a fresh game of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, tabletop rpg's (D&D, 7th Sea, Desolation etc.), and music (such as stoner metal/rock, hair metal, some hip-hop, although I like many things).
For the boring stuff: No kids, never married. I work from home and spend my days working on reports. More interesting stuff: I am a dog mom (her name is Honey Havok) and snake lover (all animals, really), liberal, love to cook, a bit of a wrestling mark (AEW, GCW, NJPW, etc.), and love to learn new things.
