A fellow Redditor wanted to have a song done and hit me up to write music for some lyrics he had. Recorded this afternoon at home, I had so much fun writing the percussion parts. I hope you get a chance to listen!

Been trying to find this series of shortish YouTube animations for the past hour, including this very Reddit, but have come up with nothing after over an hour of searching.
There is this YouTube series about some male black bird with a red eye and this female cat with an eyepatch who are roommates. It takes place in this city, as the two live out their lives. The series took place in this planet that was underground, with some kind of sun with it as well.
I recall the cat's voice having a bit of a screech to it, a little annoying. A very energetic character. Had a mobile phone.
The bird I think had some sort of hat? Or some form of red clothing. Much more relaxed in personality and voice, like someone you'd hear in real life. Dialogue for the series was overall felt very grounded from what I recall. Had very chill vibes, and I think used pastel colors.
I remember only three shorts/episodes from it, which are the following;
1 - Some music video thing, basically being about how to the two met each other. At some point, the cat is shown living in her car, as someone hands her a letter, as she proclaims that she got the job. Goes to some website for finding roommates, where the song begins I think. It ends with her moving into an apartment with the black bird. The song itself I remember was about a back and forth of questions. I also vaguely remember two lyrics from it;
"Do you ever dream of falling?" "Do you wanna be my roomie?" or "Can I be your roomie?"
2 - A short about the two talking about summer (or winter?), with one of them being thankful of how little tourists they get during it. Before we see the cat having shared online about this, implying a boom in tourism is going to happen.
3 - I'm the least sure about this one, but I recall one about the two throwing some kind of party, but nobody shows up. So, they have a party to themselves instead. Might be mixing this with an actual video and the Fred Movie, or my brain completely made this one up after all these years.
I would've seen this sometime between 2017-2019, but definitely came out in the 2010s. Also recall it having two seasons. And I'm damn well sure this isn't "Simon's Cat" or "Roommates". If anyone else remembers this at all, ESPECIALLY the name of the series, let me know.

I only follow Twice from More & More era so I missed the fantastic 2016-2019 reign when Twice swept Korea with 9 consecutive No.1 singles and 3 consecutive Daesang awards. But I was present when after two failed attempts (blocked by Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen), Twice finally sat on top of Billboard 200 courtesy of With You-th album.The question is can Twice produces another No.1 single?
Promotion I know JYPE sucks at promotion. One month before the debut of new album - tracklist, album trailer, concept photo etc. Is there any other way to make it more exciting? Do Twice needs to go for more variety shows? Or promoting 1 week in America and the other in Korea wrong?
Production Do we need new producers and lyrics writers? Do Twice members get to be involved? Is the song committee picking the title track be changed?
Yes I enjoy Twice music, I wouldn't be here if that isn't the case. Any criticism is not directly at Twice but especially JYPE which lately is very bad at managing girl group. I know it will be hard to get No.1 as we lost out at digital points since we are adults no time to stream. But if we pique GP interest that would help a lot.
So, let us combine our thoughts to suggest ways to get Twice the No.1 single.

My anxiety song was Anxiety by blackbear, but I can't remember the other song. I've tried looking for it before but I wasn't able to find the name (I dont think it was named Depression) or any other kind of lyrics. All I have is that it might have been a kind of religious song, that there was mentions of castles (unsure), and that towards the end there was a lyrics something along the lines of "come back to Tijuana" or "go back to Tijuana" or something like that. I have no recollection of the melody, either, but it felt slow. There isn't much to go off of so I've been stuck for years trying to figure it out.

The highlight of the song for me was on the conductor beat when he said "Stat stuffers, triple-double, get your ass black duffled Body bag, body bag, body bag" sounded cold as fuck there. The entire song felt lighthearted but the lyrics obviously don't hit the same as they would've if he didn't apologise. In terms of pure lyrical ability, it was pretty good.
Sometimes I wish drake didn't blow up so it would be a pure rap battle between dot and cole. Both kendrick and drake decided they wanted something of a shock factor in order to win so they just started accusing each other of shit and it wasn't that interesting personally considering none of the allegations have been proven.

System of a Down, Toxicity and Steal This Album are all phenomenal, and in my opinion are unskippable, but I honestly think Mezmerize sucks haha. Most of the songs sound like bad b-sides, the lyrics are poorly written and repetitive, the riffs sound lazy, when they're silly it sounds like they're trying too hard, and don't even get me started on Darons singing/lyrics.... and I cannot wrap my head around why people laud this album so much?
I think Hypnotize suffers from the same problems but it's 100% got more really good songs. They both suck, but when they're good, they're really fucking good. I'm looking at you Dreaming, Sad Statue, and U-Fig!.
Anyway this is my opinion, I just wanted to open it up for discussion and get other peoples points of view and understand what it is exactly people love about these albums so much compared to their (in my opinion) objectively much better first 3 albums. I've even gone so far as to combine them into one album on a Spotify playlsit with only the good songs cause I am indeed that sad.

alright so, i found this from this watzatsong post the song itself was posted in a freddie dredd discord server and i believe is unfinished, the op of the watzatsong mistook the song for a real freddie dredd song (it honestly could be but i really don't think it is), since i was able to locate the full clip, I'd like to find the sample in it as well, lyrics in it from what i can tell are "walking by the sea in the morning rain, we were young and our hearts were free, we were happy then that the world would see" and a bunch of it i can't hear.. i cant find any song with those lyrics, so any help is appreciated, if this is found, the results will get back to the op of the original post by me or someone else who does it first.

Ok so it’s been 6 months now that we would have overlapping shifts. We have alot in common too like music and food interests. We are also the same race (matters cause we’re surrounded with other races and ethnicities). So we became really close fast. I have alot of guy friends (married and taken) so I’m guessing i know to differentiate flirting with friendly banters. But just having a hard time cause he’s like forward, backward or hot and cold action!
He would always invite me and another person from work to go somewhere but he knows the other person on would say no, so we end up just going together. When we’re alone at work during our breaks, he gives me massages. If we work together, he would always ask for a high five. He tried to jokingly carry me once! Omg. We already ate outside twice (same technique, invite a group of friends but it ends up just us). Beaches: The Musical made its world premiere in Calgary recently, and I was lucky enough to catch it last night. Since it's not often I get to see a show before most of this subreddit, I wanted to share my thoughts. 😉
First things first: it's based on the book, not the movie. Sure, there are some similar costumes, a few lines, and the first and last five minutes might feel familiar, but everything else is entirely new.
If you're hoping to hear your favorite songs from the movie, don't get your hopes up. The only song that made the cut was "Wind Beneath My Wings." The rest of the music was forgettable, unfortunately.
The child versions of Cee Cee and Bertie (not Hillary like in the movie) were a highlight, appearing throughout the show and showcasing impressive talent.
The show did have its funny moments, and I found myself laughing out loud several times.
Ultimately, it was the incredible singing talents of Jessica Vosk and Kelli Barrett that truly saved the show. Their voices, especially in duets, were simply stunning. I couldn't have cared less about the lyrics (which I honestly can't recall), but the vocal performances were truly memorable.
Someday, Jessica Vosk will play Bernadette Peters in a show, and all will be right in the world.

My 15yo daughter is technically non-verbal. She uses single words, but only on her own terms. We’re best friends, but we’ve never had a conversation. She definitely understands a lot of what I’m saying, but because I can’t converse with her, I have no way to confirm what she does and doesn’t comprehend. We just assume that she understands everything, and take whatever we can get.
She can read and write, but unfortunately I can’t utilize this as a better way to communicate, as it’s selective like her speech. When she was much younger, she would write words, like elephant and universal, or names of her favorite cartoons out of blocks or fridge magnets. She was doing so well at her school, with her teachers and friends. It seemed like she was on track to become at least partially verbal. Then Covid hit, and she regressed, a lot. She has an incredible memory, and memorizes random dates and specific stuff that we did on them, she knows pretty much every Disney and Pixar movie and the years they were released, she knows a surprising amount of song lyrics… but she doesn’t write words like she used to.
She has just turned 15, and has become ten times more difficult than before. Obviously, puberty is playing a huge role in this, and it definitely doesn’t help that she’s taller and stronger than me. Not only physically strong, but head-strong. She’s stubborn, knows what she wants, and gets incredibly frustrated when we can’t figure out what it is… or we can, but can’t get it for her right away. We can only get her to eat 3 types of food, and will only drink from one specific bottle. She will never listen to reason. She bites these two spots on her hand, angry-sings/screams, and shakes when she’s melting down, and it’s so often that she has these huge calluses on both sides of her hand from it. She takes off her clothes when she’s really mad (a HUGE problem when we’re in public!), and throws her shoes and headphones. Bedtime is almost always a nightmare… and when she chooses to perform most of her scream-singing. Sometimes I think she’s asleep, then out of nowhere she’ll start “ahh ahh ahh ahh! ahh ahh ahh ahh! ahh ahh ahh ahh!”… usually she’s a great singer, but it’s not pleasant to listen to when she’s mad, because she’s screaming like a feral banshee!!
She obsessively writes down dates. We have notebooks all around the place, and she can’t go anywhere without one. She writes in patterns, and will fill a whole page with just the first letter of everything she wants to write, then goes around adding single letters or numbers… she could be writing 50 things at the same time, some dates, some activities she likes, some favorite snacks… most of it nonsense, but very meaningful to her.
I’m babbling!!
My biggest frustration is that it’s like having a toddler who can overpower me. She knows when she’s being mean, and chooses to continue. There are some things that I 100% know that she understands, but she acts like she doesn’t. She’s so smart with some stuff, and remembers everything… except how to talk! Speech would be such a game changer. I love her unconditionally just the way she is, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t grieve for the relationship I thought we’d have by now.

It had a nice uplifting party vibe. Sounded like by a group or collab. If I recall right it was a guy singing, and maybe had some rap parts/verses, but most of all a great melody in an uplifting catchy chorus, perfect to energetically start the weekend.
The song was popular in Europe at that time, but I only ever heard it in the gym and now can't find it any more :(
It was not by SZA, not Kanye. More light and uplifting.
