You craft items and consumables to survive and manage your health, hunger and thirst. It's basically a survival game.
It's also an rpg game but fighting and killing the inhabitants of Hortum doesn't make you gain exe and level up. It only gives you loot for other item to craft. The saving in this game is very scarce thus if you die there is a likely chance your huge progression in the game restarts to zero on where you saved.
This game simulates on how a competent (a human being that can fight back unlike civilians who are people that can't fight back due to their lack of survival skill and strength) be in Hortum.
This whole thing is inspired by Fear And Hunger.
