But I want you to know that you meant the world to me and still do. Every day, I look at my phone and hope that you have written to me. But I'm still blocked, just as I asked you to do, because I could never promise you that I wouldn't text you anymore. I also believe that you have long forgotten me, which I can't blame you for.
I miss hearing how you are, how well or badly you slept, what you did, and all the little things you always told me. The cuddling, your laughter, our tea times together, and lying on the couch with you in the evenings watching rollercoaster videos. Just everything. I even miss hearing how tired you are, even though it used to get on my nerves back then.
There’s not much I regret in my life, but I will regret my behavior during our relationship for the rest of my life. Maybe I’m less to blame than I think because certain influences or events in life shape subconscious behavior beyond our control. Still, I blame myself for it, and I do so every day.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot. About the good times we had together, even if they were probably more exhausting for you than for me. I'm a guy with pretty bad bpd, severe anxiety, and severe depression. My gf couldn't take it anymore and said being with me was bad for her mental health so she left. I don't blame her cause I constantly accused her of things she never did and I read way too much into everything she said and did.
I was already going through some stuff when she left so it put me in a really bad place, and it hurt like a lot but at the same time not stressing over her not replying or not constantly thinking she's cheating on me feels very peaceful
I switched medications and started to see a therapist who recommended I not get into a relationship again until I get a control of my BPD and anxiety, but my ex messaged me to see how I was doing and after I told her I was seeing a therapist and everything she said she was willing to get back together.
Aside from my dog she was the only thing that brought me any kind of happiness, so I do want to get back with her but I don't want to lose the peace of mind that I've found after she left.

So I started playing OG Vanilla when it first came out. Words cannot describe what an impact this game had on me back then. It literally changed the course of my life. More socialising, making friends, all-nighters, things were great. Lasting memories to this day. Also I met my best friend through WoW, and we even caught up and went on a roadtrip together IRL. This game is my early adulthood.
Fast forward to 5 years ago. I've come and gone several times over the years. Usually a few years break between each time. When they announced WoW Classic, I was HYPED! The thought of being able to relive those good times - 100% I was in. I hoped my original friends I played with were keen too, but they weren't. They had moved on in life - partners, kids, work, no time for gaming anymore etc. That's quite sad in itself, but I persisted and rolled solo anyway. I made more friends and everything was great. I leveled to 60, was doing endgame raids etc. But then some guild and loot drama kinda made everything poos. It wasn't fun anymore, too much politics. So I lost interest and unsubbed.
Fast forward again to today. I haven't been into gaming much for a few years now. I missed the TBC expansion, WOTLK expansion and now it's up to Cataclysm. Anywho, I get an itch again to play it. Been about 4 years since I last logged in. So I resub the other day, and all sorts of confused. Now they have split Cataclysm with Classic Era, and now there is this Season stuff as well. The only friend I had on my list still that was online and had a toon on a Season server, so I thought 'ok I'll just roll a new toon again on that server'. I was getting all nostalgic at the thought of Elwynn Forest to Duskwood phase. I log in, now currently level 13 in Goldshire.
However, this is not at all like Vanilla, or the Classic Era. Mostly because there is LITERALLY NOONE. From what I've seen, it's dead. I've come across only one single other person this entire time, otherwise it's just me running around Elwynn Forest killing mobs. It feels so....empty. Like I'm the last one of my circle still hanging on for dear life to this game. I feel like everyone else has totally moved on, and I'm the only one still hanging around for some reason. Totally depressing. Does anyone else feel this way?
I've never been all that keen on endgame stuff. I more enjoy the journey and exploration and professions and achievements etc. But running around by myself in empty zones....man it hits hard.

I play Modern and pauper. As I was building Kuldotha R (or burn, whatever you prefer to call it) I realized that ~17-21 of the spells are exactly the same as Gleeful (Kuldotha) 8 whack in Modern.
For example here is a version of my Modern deck that is running 4 Epicure :

and of course the Mountains (given my list has some fetchlands, the deck functions fine without htem)
IMO the modern deck's best version is one that runs four [[Dragon's Rage Channeler]] and 4 lightning bolt, but you could go either way.
Just a fun observation in case anyone was interested in having a budget modern deck in paper that's ~50% the exact same cards as their Mono R pauper deck, you could just put all the cards in the same sleeves and easily transition between the decks. In Modern it's not a top tier deck, but it will win [fast] games and maybe get you some 3-2s etc.
Many of the other cards are cheap, and you can get creative with the side board on a budget too.

Guys, we are in a situation where there are people Above us and Below us, in terms of height, I assume you guys are all around the 5'11" mark. In other words we are not too short nor are we too tall, I am round about average in every single category. Average height, Average penis size etc. Etc. None of which I an obsessing over or lamenting.
Think about it like this, how we feel about those apparently below us, and how possessive we are over our situation in the middle that will be reflected into how we feel about those apparently above us. In otherwords if you consider people below us Inferior, you will consider those above you Superior, if you have Disgust/hatred for those below, it follows you will have even Envy/lust for those above. After all you have made it clear that what's below you, you dislike, so what's above you must then be what you like.
I'm here to tell you that all this shit is an unnecessary crock of shit, every person is unique, and if you want to stop feeling down about not being "superior," the way to check that is to correct your relationship with those who are apparently inferior. We have because of culture, society and social media taken on this unhealthy measurement system, where worth is directly equivalent to measurement. Also our society perpetuates an unhealthy way of looking even towards those below us, pity being a common and applauded sentiment, in otherworda not respecting the equality between you and another person (the person who we are supposed to pity).
The proportion of the body, and appearances shouldn't be what we are looking outwards too.
By the way I have a theory, as Men we naturally may have the view that women are inferior, even unconsciously so the way we feel about women and treat them, would reflect the same view to those above us. In other words, don't get possessive over women, don't think you can control those below you, let's just do our thing and not get caught up in opposites. Also this advice and theory I have provided is also workable for women, since everyone has the same duty if they wish to he free from meaningless/purposeless envy and needless comparisons with others.
As we are the mean we are in a favourable position we can be concealed in a crowd and go unnoticed, so we can go about life in a more unobstructed way. However culture and society especially by the internet these days is now "demonising" the average, however let's not let it affect us. Because in reality how many people have insulted us and say you're so damn "average" noone really unless you meet some people who think they're superior on an egotrip, (they themselves proving that they are susceptible to the same shit are infact not superior by any means at all!)
TLDR The remedy to any ill feeling about being "average" is to drop the hierarchical view of people, not just those above us but those below us, if we accept an inferior we support a superior. If we see nothing as inferior, the superior naturally loses its base and the opposition's and hierarchy crumble. We must first of all get over our possessiveness of ourselves and controlling attitude towards those below us, so that we think oh look at that guy he's a manlet "thank God I'm taller," this will just increase the opposite view when around the ones who are above us. It means if we want to destroy envy, we must never pity those people we perceive as below us in one instance, pity implies a lack of respect for the person since you consider them unequal to yourself (based on the unhealthy metric of distinguishing). This theory applies to even other fields, if you are fool of pity for the poor for example, you are almost always going to have some sort of envy/exaggerated feeling towards the rich, it's unbalanced to give into such feelings. We try to focus on ourselves and not other people, as I said before "Let's do our thing," and not restrict ourselves by measurement and distinguishing. This reminds me of a quote from Alesiter Crowley:
Thou hast no right but to do thy will... For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.
Crowley goes on to say The word of sin is restriction
Every man and woman is a star
What this means is Sin is in our own limiting of ourself by measurements, standards, comparisons, distinguishing, making one thing be superior and another inferior, and not looking at all things as uniquely distinct and incomparable one to the other.
Every number is infinite
If a woman gives shit to you over these things, don't let your mental get compromised consider it a shit test, my advice is to not get too attatched, don't make being a controlfreak around women your game. However have some dignity aswell if the woman somehow tries to support this idea of inferiors/superiors, you can just take it as a projection of her own self-hatred (since I'm sure she is as a woman whether she likes it or not is the so-called inferior), just make it clear to her you don't care, if she abuses your trust and cheats on you or something, don't think that the reason she cheated on you was your own fault. It was just her own assumptions driving her, sit back and tell her you're going seperate ways, with no hurt over not being able to control her and keep her under your thumb. Worst case scenario you fail the shit tests and end up getting passively taken advantage of and used as a doormat by the immature woman who after testing you knows you're vulnerable, and uses you to fulfill her own ambitions.
It's that simple bros. Good luck to all the average people here. Being average is no cure it's actually an advantage, do some research into the golden mean. We are pretty much the average of the masses, that we are this way shows our own stability (of course this is not scientific now since there's no empirical objective proof we chose the bodies we have some people claim to have knowledge about such things though). Stay true to that stability and don't buy into the culture of hierarchy, alpha vs. Beta etc. We are unique and not objects, reducible to our physical characteristics.

Hello, I'm currently on a waiting list to receive a diagnosis for potential neurodivergency. In the meantime I want to reduce mistakes I make.
Just recently we came from the cinema late at night and we didn't want to take a taxi home. I started to look at Maps to find a route home but it was complicated and I forgot to look for the official schedule. My partner pressures me to find an option that isn't the tram because he doesn't like crowds. We get halfway to the stop and Im getting more confused and trusting blindly in maps. He was rushing us out of the shopping centre asap whereas I would've preferred to stay still and weigh up our options. He says to check the official schedule and we find our the bus isnt for another hour but we are already halfway down the hill to the bus stop.
He explodes and shouts saying I'm r*tarded and that any other human can think of things fast and act. He said he feels like he is responsible for everything in the relationship and if he doesn't lead, I would be lost. And for that it would be better for him to be single than have a burden.
At that point I'm breaking down and he pressures me to give a "logical answer" for what happened and I try to explain that I panic/have a freeze response to stressful situations. He says that's an excuse and he wants something else. He then tells me to check again when the next bus is, I feel immense pressure because he says "this time I want you to thing and give me a right answer" I tell him Google says xyz because I felt if I said that there still wouldn't be a bus for an hour he would get mad. He got mad saying how can I fall into the trap once but twice.
We wait for the bus and get home. He says he can't keep going like this and questions why it is taking so long for me to be on the waiting list for diagnosis.
I just need help making less of these mistakes and being able to lead until I can have access to a MH professional who can help me look at what is causing these moments of helplessness and panic where other people can deal with it. What can you suggest?

I hope this is the right place to ask something like this. I posted on the basic cats subreddit a while back and got no response. So here I am.
Ive got this darling little void around 13 weeks old, from the shelter near me. She was listed as incredibly fearful and feral. I was at the shelter to help my boyfriend pick out his first kitten. We have an older cat that I brought into the relationship but this cat was gonna be the first animal that was fully his. I saw this poor scared little kitten and couldnt leave her, so we ended up bringing home 2 kittens. My feral girl, and a well socialized, happy little kitten thats the same age.
Flashforward one year later and not much has improved. Ive tried it all. I sit with her during meals, i bring her treats, ive given her plently of hiding places and safe spots, ive done the 'give her space and let her come to me' thing as well as the 'stay close by her at all times so she gets used to my presence' thing. I try to engage in play with her but shes just not comfortable enough to play when im in the room. She still growls at me when I try to pet her, and runs away when I enter a room. She has started sleeping at the bottom of my bed at night, but shes always long gone by the time I wake up. She loves her kitty siblings and will play and interact with them, but its a no go for human contact.
Im not sure what more I can do. I dont have a problem with her not wanting to be touched and being a more distant solitary cat. But the panic and anxiety she seems to experience every time she's seen by human eyes cant be good for her health. I want more for her than to live in a state of terror.

Hey everyone, i hope this is the right sub for this. I apologize if its not, otherwise i need your advise.
Iam a pretty new when it comes to dnd and joined a group that wanted to start a new campaign that sounded interesting. So i thought, new people, new campaign, lots of dnd, why not, could be fun!
Now my problem, there is a person in the group that i will name bob for now. Bob seems overall nice but is very different in many ways. I know we all are different because we all are just humans with different personalities but he is, just wow.
Session0: We all came together in Discord, talked about the campaign, discussed details and created our characters how we thought would be good. I know that everyone in this group expects something different from this adventure but when it comes to bob it feels like his character IS the adventure. Every chance he gets he loudly, and with the most enthusiasm tells you how cool and nice and awesome his char is. He almost talks in a way if his char is actually alive, its pretty wild. I mean i get it, its my first campaign, iam excited af!!!! And i love my char to the death but i dont have to scream at someone if he says something about my char.
After session 0 (first time meeting all of the group members) i thought ok, i love everything about how the dm thinks, how the campaign is themed. Bob was a bit too much but whatever, he is probably just excited and will calm down eventually.
2 hours before we even start the first real session, 1 person that also created a char and was hyped af, said he will leave the group because bob is too much and he cant handle people like that. I thought, well, i get it but iam way too invested by now and i actually just want to play and have fun, how could 1 person ruin all my fun if iam the one controlling my char?
Session 1-2: The dm is doing some great work, he does alot of rp and in general the campaign is very roleplay based, i love it! The others also do some nice rp and then theres bob he always has to do rp in a way that the spotlight shines on him. If the group wants to rp we always have to look at him and all the attention is drawn to him because he has to do somethung extra, EVERY time. Its exhausting. Also, decisions that would be made by dice he just chooses to do anyways. The dm always has to correct him and say roll this roll that. He then gets a little silent, rolls and when he doesnt succeed, oh boy.
But i thought to myself, maybe its his char, his personality and thats ok until he just started speaking over the dm while the dm is roleplaying for others or describing a spooky scene or is talking as an npc. Bob is not able to not talk for 30 seconds!
Since its my first real campaign and i like the other group members + the dm and i think very similar about rp and setting and about everything i dont want to leave. The story is also very nice. I had to say something.
After a session i said to the group that i thought it would be good if we just let others talk until they are finished and said that i noticed some interrupt the dm for no reason at all and it would kill the mood, the setting. Everyone agreed and the dm started answering to my request and while doing so bob interrupted again, drawing again all attention to him. I just know that he wont change and there is not a word i can say that will do something against that behavior. All party members are above 18 except 1 guy, hes 16 and he has better behavior than bob, its crazy.
What can i do now? I dont want to leave the group and want to play the campaign but its hard, really really hard. Any suggestions?
note: bob is a "experienced" dnd player and this is not his first campaign. Also for the guy that left because of him we had a new person join the group and you can tell he also wants to play but is visibly annoyed by bob.

Can I play Melee online?
Yes! Slippi is a branch of the Dolphin emulator that will allow you to play online, either with your friends or with matchmaking. Go to https://slippi.gg to get it.
Netplay is hard! Is there a place for me to find new players?
Yes. Melee Newbie Netplay is a discord server specifically for new players. It also has tournaments based on how long you've been playing, free coaching, and other stuff. If you're a bit more experienced but still want a discord server for players around your level, we recommend the Melee Online discord.
How can I set up Unclepunch's Training Mode?
First download it here. Then extract everything in the folder and follow the instructions in the README file. You'll need to bring a valid Melee ISO (NTSC 1.02)

Here is the dastardly list of chemicals that make me bold but stupid: Oxytocin is the"love hormone". This lie-producing hormone is released when hugged or during sex. Problem solved don't touch m…damn it that's not going to work. Phenylethylamine (PEA), this is the "chemical of love". It is the chemical of deception and manipulation from my experience. Vasopressin is a neurotransmitter that plays a role in romantic love and social attachment formation. It's involved in behaviors that can lead to long-term, monogamous relationships in males, such as territorial aggression, mate guarding, and pair bonding. Oh, wait that would be the hormone that isn’t affecting your brain in regards to me. Linked to behaviors that can lead to long-term, monogamous relationships. Haha, monogamy. I can not stop laughing. Everyone is cheating. Norepinephrine, cool now I will be more alert. I will also remember all these tender moments that don't mean shit to you. Dopamine, nice I get this feel-good euphoric reward chemical released too. Nice! Too bad it isn’t going to last. Once, it sets in that I am the only one who caught feelings it’s going to be a quick slap in the face. Then, who knows how long I will chastise myself for losing the plot. Also, dearest the brain deactivates the amygdala, which controls fear, anger, and sadness The brain dampens the ability of the mid-and frontal cortex to use logic, criticize, or think clearly. What I see more clearly, none of this applies to you. Mores the pity for you darling tiger. I am a real tigress, and once release you me you won’t catch me again. Yes, I am angry with you. I never speak to you like this, because I respect you. This time though, you disrespected me. I can not let that stand. Fix yourself, figure out if you want me, or you want to lose me.
