So I went to Great Adventure today and used my points over the years to get a free large drink. But as usual in the beginning of the season, the new workers have no clue how to redeem them. I don't get upset or annoyed at that and try to explain. Its like they have no clue that exists. I'm at Granny's Kitchen and even the supervisor doesn't know, so his boss comes and gives them. It stays unredeemed on my card but I get my drink, one on my account and redeem one for my wife.
Well, I try to use another redeemed voucher at Mama Flora's to not give the staff here another headache, and they just outright refuse a supervisor and say they won't take it and they dont serve large drinks anymore! So I go to Customer Service and they get annoyed at me too, telling me to call a supervisor anytime I want to use it, telling me I can only use it once a year even if I redeem 2+ of them (that is a scam and makes no sense lol), wont say why the staff has no clue by answering "I cannot say why", and after getting annoyed saying "Im trying to redeem a coupon I already used" I redeemed another one and the worker got angry and told me to go to the Funnel Cake place and ended it there. They did it asap no issues.
I don't get it. I wasn't being aggressive either, but being called almost a scammer or stealing by redeeming it twice and trying to keep me away from using my points is just wrong. I hope staff sees this or changes policy. And a warning to others.

If Flixbus vouchers are sold for 50% 60% 70% off, and that seems to you like a good deal, think again is this a good deal, or is this too good of a deal to be true. Scammers will usually scam bunch of people for "small" amounts like 10-20-30 dollars, and you'll part with your money in a blink of an eye.
Best you can do is ask for proof of applied voucher. And they usually cant deliver that, or dodge the question to do so, because they dont have valid code. Anyone can show you voucher with expiration date in end of 2024 or start of 2025 but that doesnt mean that amount is on it. Hence, it needs to be checked by applying it to some trip. That's the best way to know people are not telling you lies in order to get your money.

My spouse had me buy a voucher and I checked out as a guest user. Payment has been taken but the email I received from groupon only asks me to make an account and buy more. Nothing about the voucher I've already bought, and no other email following it. The tab with the info is now gone. I'm incredibly pissed and feel like I've been scammed. Do I need to go to my bank to get my money back? Am I required to make an account with the contact info I gave to access my voucher? I can't find a straight forward answer by googling

Longtime Big Three/Perry Project fan here. As time has went on, as a fan I’ve went through(as many of you probably have as well)the stages of grief in regards to the project ending and us being left with the lackluster ripoff that is PCL.
Noted psychiatrist Kübler-Ross defined the five stages of grief as followed:
DENIAL-“The Big Three will come back stronger than ever once Perry figures out that Tom’s a creep, and the old gang reunites for the 20th anniversary of Windy City Heat”.
ANGER-“How can Perry keep biting the hand that feeds him? Besides, PCL degrades him way worse than Don or Mole ever tried to”.
BARGAINING-“Maybe we need to report this all as elder abuse and protect the Scaremaster?”
DEPRESSION-“Don and Mole don’t even talk anymore, how are we ever gonna get new material??”
ACCEPTANCE-“The best material that could be conjured out of Perry has already happened, and he likely deserves the BS he lives with on the daily now”.
That last one took me forever to acknowledge: Perry isn’t a good person. As much as I love WCH/Big Three Podcast I don’t blame anyone formerly involved for no longer wanting to work with him. Which brings me to my next point, and the main reason I posted today: Is there a list of Scaremaster’s sins and transgressions to point new fans and friends to in order to show them that Perry is largely to blame? Half the time I introduce friends/family to this project I get a knee jerk reaction of “well, that seems kinda mean” or “doesn’t this guy have a disability?”. Which is why I say we create a list of known slimeball moves from the Scammaster.

*Beat his ex wife for not putting oregano in the mushrooms
*Is a both a deadbeat dad and absent grandparent
*Sued everyone involved with Windy City Heat and Jackass and ruined any chance of a sequel materializing.
*False PO against Don, claimed he had a gun pushed into his mouth and was threatened by Barris.
*False story about Don hitting him in the face with his genitals; story was never told before now(on PCL), and bears striking similarities to the aforementioned gun story.
*Slept with Mike Majestic’s, one of his best friends, Wife while he was dying of cancer.
*Ate his lunch at the high school parking lot while working for his cousin, in order to lustily stare at underage girls.
*Deliberately impregnated his ex-wife in order to secure a place to live, as he was being kicked out of his house.
*Smoked crack with balloon boy’s father Richard Heene, another noted scam artist.
*Slept with prostitutes regularly, conned them out of their money by crying that he couldn’t afford their services post-climax.
*Tried to steal Don’s jobs(Closing at The Comedy Store, working as audience warmup for Jimmy Kimmel Live) and tried to sleep with Mary Jane when he was under the impression he had passed away.
*Lifetime of homophobic remarks and behavior despite having had at least two gay experiences in his life
*Cries victim at the very mention of the 1992/Randy Callahan story despite having benefited from it financially via SAG vouchers and it being a regular part of his act when he was still attempting to perform standup comedy.
*On at least one occasion bit Don Barris so hard that it left permanent scarring; also bit Terrifying Tim on the arm during The Windy Weekend.
*Hid funds he earned selling Big Three Podcast themed skateboards from the cast, regularly has pulled scams on others for financial gain.
*Showed absolutely no empathy for loss of life in regards to Little Nathaniel, or Terrifying Tim and Don Barris(when he believed them both to had died).
*Hit on the underraged niece of Sam Kinison in front of her own father.
*Admittedly stole his persona from Sam Kinison and Tony Alva.
*Has been in multiple lawsuits with his own family. Neither Brian or Kenny(his two brothers) have anything to do with him any longer.

I had originally scheduled my exam with accommodations through PearsonVue about 2 weeks ago. The employee at the location they scheduled me at told me they were no longer taking in new people for exams and it should not have been allowed to be scheduled there to begin with. I call PearsonVue and explain the situation, they use their “one time courtesy” to reschedule me for the following Tuesday, even though it was their fault for scheduling me in a location that was not open for exams.
I call Monday morning, prior to 24 hours before the exam on Tuesday, to reschedule my exam as I would not be able to make it. The lady who answered me informed me that their system was currently down, so they could not reschedule anything at the time, but she would leave a note in my record to honor the reschedule request within the 24 hours for this. I call back later, and they deny rescheduling me due to already using their “one time courtesy” the prior week. I bring up that in both of these situations, PearsonVue is at fault, so the employee opens a case for me to evaluate my situation. I am informed that it would take 3-5 days for a response, and I should call back on the 13^th if I had not heard back by then.
Monday comes, and I reach out as they still have not contacted me. The employee informs me that there still is no resolution, and that they would reach out to me the following day. Tuesday I still have not heard back from them. I call that afternoon but the employee says their support team is gone for the day and I need to call back then next day.
I call 2 days ago and waited 50 minutes while the employee reached out to their support team. They finally tell me the case is closed, and denies me my request to reschedule, again, stating that they used their “one time courtesy” already. I ask to speak to someone higher-up, and they pass the call to their supervisor. I explain everything from the beginning to Joshua, how none of it was in my control and how PearsonVue was at fault. The supervisor states the only option I have would be to buy a new voucher, and that if I chargeback my voucher I may be banned from taking the exam. I request a copy of my case records by email for myself, and Joshua states that they are telephone-only and do not provide any emails. The supervisor then gives me CompTIA's phone number, and assures me that CompTIA has access to PearsonVue’s records as well.
I called CompTIA and stated my situation. I spoke with their employee who informed me that CompTIA in fact does not have access to their records, and that PearsonVue indeed can provide email copies of records and that they cannot deny the request for them. I called back PearsonVue to ask for a copy by email again, and the employee says they would pass it on to whoever is in charge of that. 2 days later and I still have not received it.
Im not sure what else to do, is this something that can be taken to small claims court? I cannot afford to buy another voucher, so that is not an option. Even if I could, im not going to give up the money I already spent.

I got a call today. She said she is speaking from the credit card department delhi. (Flag 1: no mention of what bank)
I asked her which credit card, so she says you’re using ICICI credit card.
Then she asks me is your card Visa, Mastercard, Rupay? I tell her Mastercard, then she asks me the colour of the circles in the MC logo (????)
She tells me there’s some complimentary kit they’re sending to my address with 5 benefits:

1. ICICI VIP money card - I show this card anywhere I’m shopping and they’ll instantly give me 15% discount uncapped. Offline online both
   
2. A link with multiple gift items like Shirt, laptop bag, jeans, shoes etc. I can choose anyone I want
   
3. Can’t remember the third benefit
   
4. 2 holiday vouchers to anywhere in India with family fully covered by them for 3D2N
   
5. A 5000 rs gift voucher
   

Then she tells me you need to pay government tax of 417 rs per month for 24 months for this
I told her I don’t want it. She says this is not a ration store that you can choose what you want and what you don’t want, this is a pre approved offer and a value added service, you don’t have a choice if you want it or not.
I asked her again where are you calling from. She says Delhi. I said what business? She says credit card department. Still no bank
After arguing for 2-3 minutes figured I’m wasting my time and disconnected the call. She tried calling one more time, but that was it.
Such an elaborate scam lol

Went to a hotel recently and I saw a woman sitting in the lobby, dressed nicely. I noticed her looking at me for a second before I turned the corner to get on the elevator. I got on the elevator and next thing I know she had fallen behind me at the entrance of the elevator. She asked me to help her up and the whole thing seemed dramatic. She didn’t want anyone else to help her (ie concierge, security) other than me and asked me to bring her to her bf outside at the hotel cafe. When I brought her over they seemed like they were doing a bit. Something felt off. Instead of focusing on her injury, they mostly focused on me. They were completely uninterested in the EMT that came, security, etc. They only wanted me to help. They wouldn’t let me leave after I thought her over to the tableThanking me profusely for helping her. They insisted I stay and sit with them for a while, offered to buy me a drink for everything I did... They asked me a few basic questions about myself (ie if I live in the area, what I do for work, where I’m from originally etc) though I live in a smaller sized city so these are relatively normal questions to ask. In the end they offered me a “restaurant voucher” (I said it wasn’t necessary but they insisted I deserved it for “everything I did” it would be doing them a favor as they were flying to Canada the next day and wouldn’t use it). I accepted and they asked for my number. I really didn’t want to give it but I didn’t feel I had a choice and panicked. They never reached out. I’m now concerned it was some kind of trafficking scheme or a scam. The whole thing seemed fake, can’t put my finger on it. Like why was she getting on the elevator behind me? She said she was going to the bathroom, but that’s not the right direction. She said she “slipped” but I didn’t really buy it. Also, their interactions seemed a bit formal. I would imagine if your girlfriend falls suddenly you would be more focused on them and want privacy, not wanting to spend time with the person that walked her over? Anyways, what can they do with my name and number? I told them I lived nearby and what I did for work too. I had no purse or valuables on me, just got back from gym. I’m a F in my 20s.

I gotta tell you about my experience with West Avenue Tourism, and it's not good. They promise you the world with their subscription packages, but it's all a big scam.
First off, they offer these fancy subscription packages worth thousands of AED, promising amazing deals and benefits. But once you're in, it's a different story. They play with their terms and conditions, adding extra fees left and right. You end up paying for so-called "convenience fees" that make up almost 80% of your booking cost!
Let's talk about their flight offers. They say you'll get flight tickets to Georgia/Armenia for 2 adults or a flight voucher. But here's the catch: if you ask for the flight ticket, they'll give you some cheap flight from Abu Dhabi on Wizz Air, which isn't even worth AED 1000 for 2 adults! And if you go for the flight voucher, they'll charge you AED 199 per way, per person, per flight. It's a rip-off, plain and simple.
And don't even get me started on their hotel vouchers. They promise you 3 nights and 4 days in a hotel, but when you try to book, they give you some shady hotel and then charge you 80% in convenience fees! It's a total scam.
I'm attaching their contract so you can see for yourself how they try to fool you. I fell for it, and now I'm stuck with their scam package.
Furthermore, it is imperative to emphasize that among those I dealt with, Mr. Pushkar Malhotra, Mr. Manoj Chaturvedi, Mrs. Shey, Mrs. Rohini, and Mrs. Nandini Rai (potentially a fabricated identity) stand out as egregious liars and fraudulent individuals.
Whether you're a member or not, West Avenue Tourism will find a way to take your money and leave you with nothing. I'm planning to make a vlog soon to expose their shady practices, so stay tuned for that.
Bottom line: Do not, I repeat, do not trust West Avenue Tourism. They'll take your money and run, leaving you with nothing but empty promises.

We have planned a trip to Europe via “Iconic travellers”. We have already paid 20% of the amount and got our visa. Now the travel agency is saying that i need to pay full amount and they will provide flight tickets/hotel vouchers 3 days before our travel date. Just want to understand if it can be a scam.
We did our due diligence and got reviews from people who already used their service and they all said company is fine.

At least before it works like "Oh you bought a lot of stuffs eh?, here's some 'bonus prizes' for purchasing our ridiculous price offers and help us make money". Now it's just a scam.
About 19$ in total to get the full rewards of 248 Vouchers which rn is only enough to buy a high end B Class car that's very good (still way inferior than the King Bentley). I guess it's kinda a "discount" because normally you would get a little amount of 160 Vouchers for an extra 1$ than this relay offer.
Still unnecessary addition back into the game, this thing gonna collect cobwebs cuz no one buying it...

Hello all I paid for 1Training Prince2 Foundation course on 1 Feb 2024. I accessed the training videos etc and at the end of the course put in a request for the exam voucher code on 15 Feb(1Training company then was to request this from PeopleCert) Since then I have had about a dozen emails to and fro to 1Training requesting an update on where my code is. They have constantly given me deadlines to expect it, these have passed and so it goes on.
After the last deadline passed without any exam code or communication from 1Training (their phone number is never answered), I registered the transaction as a suspected scam with my bank. The bank has given me a refund with the proviso that it might be rescinded if something else arises from the company and they can justify the delay. I received another email from the company today saying all this sh** about I am front of the queue, issues beyond their control, etc etc. and kicking the can down the road again
From others experience, is the company truly a scam or just going through something? At the same time, they haven’t provided my service within the timeframe they said they would do it is essentially useless to me (I was originally intending to use it for a job application and missed it due to not providing it within the deadline they originally said)
I’m just a bit mystified about what is actually behind this. The reviews were all good until about Feb 2024 when everyone is saying the exact same issue as me
