heya, i recently bought an old Rift (not rift s) with the two sensors from a family member, started to get it set up and everything went alright till it was time to put the headset on and start downloading games. so the issue: for the life of me and all the trouble shooting ive tried i cant find a fix. my view within the headset while standing still is fine, tracking while looking up/down, and moving forward and back is acceptable, however when i turn my head to look left or right the entire view tilts nearly 30degrees while turning. after 1-3 sec the entire view snaps back to horizontal like one would expect it to look. this is extremely disorienting and isnt something i can just ignore.
Trouble shooting ive already tried: re install meta quest link software reinstall graphics drivers from scratch disable all usb power saving modes verified all necessary usb ports (headset, and two sensors) where indeed 3.0 ports swapped usb ports around ran and re ran device set up and flor calibration and sensor calibration through metaquest link numerous times updated windows rebooted pc many times covered all reflective surfaces tried with lights both on and off re installed USB drivers tried in many games and vr homes to verify its not a specific game/ home issue covered the headset while tracking to try in break tracking in attempt to reset it( some rando forum solve, no luck) tried ovr tool kit floor fix launched through steam vr and metaquest link both removed head gasket in case it was some funny business with the aftermarket replacement
at this rate im at a loss, not sure whats wrong or how to fix.. plz halp

I just randomly noticed, like I'm sure you all probably have. While the games churned out are awesome and to me are almost always a 9 out of 10 each time, stopped at mh4u before my phone couldn't take it and i haven't really had time to install higher on my pc
I notice that hits that usually send you flying when you have enough health doesn't send you flying when you get knocked out, like you just kind of lose balance or pass out instead of getting yeeted away like normal You know what I'm saying like getting hit by a fireball will probably send you rolling across the ground but when you get that 0hp hit you just fall down and pass out
It's not necessary it gets added i jus noticed it and figured it would probably be funny seeing your teammate get thrown in the air and the caption of teammate being knocked out shows and you see em plop on the ground. Funny ey?

Hello there fellow nameless, so recently( right after i started playing WuWa lol) StarRail started acting funny on pc, it randomly crashes or eats up all my cpu and i mean it it uses like the 90% it so it doesnt even let me start the game, tried with fixing the datas,checking issues and everything yet im unable to fix this.

However I think it’s horrible to have to listen to I’m not angry at it, just disappointed. It really could’ve been a good parody song, as it however. I think it’s a filler interlude.

Perhaps it’s too far to call it cheesey. And don’t get me wrong I love the simple cheesey songs a lot (just wait till you see where I put silver hammer). But this one just doesn’t strike a nerve for me. I did think the same thing about strawberry fields forever for a while before listening to it more so maybe it’ll crawl up the ranks someday but overall I think it’s a nice love song that has some great production but after that it’s overshadowed by the rest of the album.

89: HER MAJESTY Yes, I prefer this over while my guitar gently weeps. Moving on, I think this is a fun, tongue in cheek song that I always thought implied he was talking about money. Think about it, her majesty is on all the bank notes, she certainly doesn’t have a lot to say in that case, price changes from day to day. Paul loves it but to get it he has to get a belly full of wine to make it… think about it.

And I like to think if there is a god he’s like this. Watching over giving the world his wisdom but we’re just to ignorant to hear it. Also the medieval sound is one of my favourite styles (love sunforest if you’ve ever listened to any of their songs) so the flute works just so well for me especially when it mixes with the piano. Oh I just love this song to bits it’s great

The chaos and randomness near the climax is such an incarnation of the love message and how it works as an organised mayhem. 23: GET BACK Shit, shit back, shit 1. No I love this. This is such a vibe man it strikes a nerve, it sounds incredible (considering it was recorded outside) and it helps that everyone is clearly giving it there absolute all. Love get back.
22: OB-LA-DI OB-LA-DA I don’t know if this one is as controversial as it used to be but I know there are still some who fucking loath this song. I saw an article where it put this song as the worst the Beatles ever done saying that it was genuinely a horrible experience to listen to. I don’t know this song is just a tonic for a bad day, I will always feel a little bit better after listening to it and that really pulls it up the list. Don’t get the hate
21: A DAY IN THE LIFE Oh boy. This is so good damn it. The Lennon McCartney dynamic is the best it ever will be. Lennon reads the news of suicide and sees a war film while Paul dashes about in his chipper day. The rising orchestra is incredible, Ringos drumming is so different to other approaches in the genre. I can’t tell the scales of the strangeness and the depression aspect mixed with the weird ass ending it’s just an experience instead of a song.
20: OH! DARLING You can’t deny the power in this song, Paul gives it his absolute soul and it works for me, this rejection song is more of an explosion of emotions that gets you invested. Idk I like it
19: REVOLUTION 9 Well I’m dead, there’s no redeeming myself now oh well, however if you would at least hear me out on why I put number nine here then I will do my best. I love things that are different, things that go against the norm and defy expectations. And if we can all agree that revolution 9 is not what you expect when you think Beatles then we have agreed on something. This song (if you can call it a song) is doing for me something interesting. Celebrating the avant-garde while also making fun of it. It sounds impeccable. The mixing is superb, it makes full use of the stereo format. It makes me feel things, picture things, it’s a very interpretive sound that mixes together different instruments and words and phrases forwards and backwards to make something of a trip. This sounds like what a revolution sounds like, points getting muffled over time, being big and grand before shrinking into disarray. You can take what you want from the meaning but when I listen I get completely overwhelmed with feelings. It’s a collage of expression that is most certainly not for everybody but I think is a full on revolution in my head. That’s just how I feel
18: EVERYBODY’S GOT SOMETHING TO HIDE EXCEPT FOR ME AND MY MONKEY There’s some dislike for this one too but I think it’s just a complete rocker, the lyrics also make me chuckle a fair bit
17: THE BALLED OF JOHN AND YOKO I don’t think this one is that hated. I love it. It’s genuinely very funny some highlights being the what you doing in bed interaction and the two gurus in drag. John was highlighting his problems with the media in a way that doesn’t sound bitchy or like he’s talking down to the listeners. Very good song
16: ACROSS THE UNIVERSE God the imagery, similes and lyricism is so beautiful. This is a beautiful song. So elegant
15: SHES LEAVING HOME I was somewhat shocked to find this in some worst of the Beatles lists. The people writing it seeming to miss the point that it isn’t that biased. Sure it shows the hardships of the parents, how broken they are but it realises that fun can simply not manifest in some places and has to be sought out. It’s a real understandable song that is softly sung by Paul in a mystifying way.
14: I WANT YOU (SHES SO HEAVY) Fucking insane song, it’s like a ride at an amusement park it ramps up over time and brings you right to the heights that you wonder how it’s going to end. This song subverts that by giving it no ending, it just gets cut off, which is brilliant. It’s like a ride through hell. A decent into madness of desire in a way making it shockingly relevant.
13: OCTOPUSES GARDEN Kudos to ringo bro just wants to be under the ocean. Calm as fuck. Beautiful expression of the desire to get away from the hassles of life and responsibilities which I’m sure we all relate to. Also bubbles, what’s not to love.
12: HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN It’s almost perfect, but goddamn it it’s too short. I love this thing but I feel it cuts off before it’s time is up you know
11: THE CONTINUING STORY OF BUNGALOW BILL I don’t get the hate for this one (well maybe I do but still) you got a fire ass spanish guitar. A balled of verses, a sing song chorus that feels like it’s taking the piss in a good way. Even an underlying message of hypocrisy and ignorance. Now I know that yoko is very loud on the song but honestly it just ads to the bizarre feeling that the whole song gives off, I love this.
10: YER BLUES One of the most explosive blues songs I’ve ever heard, incredible
9: STRAWBERRY FEILDS FOREVER You already know it’s fantastic, but that still shouldn’t take away how fantastic it is
8: MAXWELLS SILVER HAMMER … yeah, no joke. Listen it was on of the first Beatles songs I ever heard, if not the first. It has that jaunty Paul feel but then it hits you that it’s about a murderer and it just makes me take a step back and go damn, the Beatles could make anything whimsical. It’s so sing song while being so dark. Yea it is fruity but man I don’t know. The synthesiser near the end is also just really fun to me. It’s fun it’s nostalgic and I will always love it. Sorry not sorry.

6: BABY YOU’RE A RICH MAN I don’t know what it is about this one I love so much, I’m not a huge fan of sitar but it works here. I like the lyrics. There’s a lot of interpretation around them but I always took it as a similar vane of the balled of John and Yoko where it is like a dickhead reporter asking John the questions we here Paul sing in a sense of leading him on and that they’re responding in the sense that these people nagging them about having money when most who were had money themselves. Just a thought.

Hey alll! I’m mainly looking to find new gaming friends that share the same gaming interests if possible. And also just someone to get to know! I have all consoles and pc and i play alot of games. Ranging from retro to new! Emulators and roms are always fun to co-op with someone!
Current games i’m playing are Octopath Traveler 2, WWE 2k24 and Fortnite too (zero build). But i’ll play most anything! I am an achievement hunter and usually like to try to 100% games if i can. Some MMORPGs i’ve played are Elder Scrolls Online, Star Wars The Old Republic, World of Warcraft. I haven’t played them in quite some time but would be willing to jump back in.
Also I love Tabletop Simulator on Steam! Literally any board game is on there so I definitely would play that.
Some VR games are Beat Saber, Walkabout Mini Golf, Demeo!
I could go on but that’s probably a good stopping point for games.
I’m married and have 2 kids, a 7 month old son and a 9 year old daughter. So definitely a platonic friendship if you’re female. I’m into basic nerdy things. Gaming is definitely my number 1 go to, star wars, super heroes, DnD, anything Disney. Also trading card games like Disney Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited

I’m also into movies and tv, some sports, pro wrestling. Collecting boardgames, action figures and retro games are hobbies as well. Anything 80s/90s nostalgia i absolutely love too so if you want to talk childhood memories and growing up back then, i’m totally down! I miss the good old days where we went to arcades, played outside with friends, and those family sunday dinners at the grandparents ❤️.
My kids are everything to me and I do love talking about them. Love being silly with them and spending time with them (when they aren’t driving me crazy lol)

My mom has five kids, including me, by the end of the year they’ll be 10, 8, 6, and 4 while I’m 19. I live with my grandmother while they still live with her as I was abused for years. I would be forced to take care of them, I never had a social life, she threw chairs at me and screamed at me, told me all sorts of nasty things and chalked it up to just “being a black mom” and my family, as generational curses go, didn’t do anything either, they were there for me when I was younger but when I got to middle school I had to go live with her. She threw me out of the house all the time and I just had to walk around even in pitch black night all by myself because she was mad, she’d call the police and I was always brought back as if I chose to run away. The straw that broke the canals back was one night when I was 17, I was getting in from work around 10 and she’s already mad when I get in the door. I get to my room and my pc is gone, context, this was my only form of happiness, I built this pc, bought every part for it and this was the only way I could enjoy myself. This is the first time I talked back, I asked where it was and she said she put it away, I asked her why and she said because I don’t do anything around the house which isn’t true, she’s just lazy and messy and doesn’t clean up after herself at 39 years old which is ridiculous because I was just a kid. She gets mad and things start escalating and she tells me to get out, I oblige but then she asks for my phone which I say no because my grandmother told me whenever I get kicked out, especially at night, I need to keep my phone on me, it was about to die anyway as it was at 2 percent, but she starts pushing me against the wall and trying to take it, eventually I BARELY shove her back and she loses it, starts punching and hitting me and stomping on me, she gets me to a point on the wall and pushes me to which she split my head open and I start bleeding and screaming, I drop my phone and she gets it, but she dropped her phone so I pick it up and call 911 and start screaming my address into the phone, she gets it and hits me more and I get out of the house, no glasses so I can’t see, blood going down my back and just losing my mind screaming and crying, I get further and there’s a lady outside her house and I walk up and ask for help, they see me looking like Carrie and call the police and my grandmother who lives about four hours away. My mom gets arrested and has to go to anger management classes and the kids get put with my cousin and their father, who isn’t any better for a bit. I get placed with my grandma and have lived with her up until now. The funny part is after a month or two my mother comes to where I am and moves her and the kids here, not in the house but in the same city, we ‘reconcile’ for the most part and everything’s "good.”Here’s what the current problem is, my siblings have been growing up in that environment where nothing has changed and shes still angry and stressed out, I get that, hurt people hurt people, but the boys, the two middle children, get punched and beat on and thrown around like its nobody’s business, it hurts my heart to just sit by and pretty much do nothing but call them sometimes and tell my babies how much I love them. I feel so helpless and I’ve given her so many chances, I felt like she would change so many times but to no avail because people don’t usually change. So here’s what happened yesterday, me and my nana (grandma) were picking up some food, and by the graces of god we just happen to be going down a road near her place and see my little brothers 8 and 6 just walking down the road, I run out of the car to go get them and they start begging to go to nanas house and unfortunately we take them back to their house, where the neighbors are outside and worried about them as well, saying they snuck out of the back door and that this is the second time the oldest has done this, trying to escape to anybody because of what he’s going through. He’s also autistic, but high functioning, and as a little boy, has so much pent up rage and sadness because of what she’s been going through. My little sisters, 10 and 4 are trying to wake her up to no avail, so I go in the house and wake her up, I find out later she was drinking and passed out asleep. They get back to the house and I walk them to the door, and in front of everyone she grabs them by their shoulders and throw them into the house. I walk in and shut the door behind them saying that she can’t do that in front of people as they’ll call cps, and that she shouldn’t have done that at all. She pretty much ignores me and starts punching them and screaming at them that their father doesn’t want them and that she’s all they have. I leave because my nana has to go to work, I wish I would’ve stayed, or done anything, but I hate being in that environment just as much as they do. Now I’m here, I called her and she basically told me she’s not gonna get help for herself and that I should call cps, because “she’s a good mom and she’s not gonna get the kids taken away, and she’s trying her best.” Her words. My question is as an older sister what do I do? What can I do to remedy this, I don’t want her to go to jail but she deserves it, I don’t want my siblings to be split up because they’re all they have, I don’t want them to go with their father cause that might be worse. The cps in my town is rated poorly and sucks for never getting anything done and not doing anything for children. I’m not sure what I should do but I can’t sit by idle and let this keep happening. Should I tell her that they’re coming if I call? Please help.

I've been dating my boyfriend (M31) for over 3 years, and we've lived together for 2 of those years. I'm aware that there is a significant age gap, as I'm (F21). My boyfriend is Korean, and I'm half Japanese, half Spanish. At first, he thought I was too young, but I begged him to stay with me regardless of our age difference. He works full time 6 or 5 days a week & im a student & I work full time as well but the days varies so I’m home more often.
The issue is that I've tried changing almost everything about myself to make him like me, but nothing seems to work. I've changed my personality, clothing, hair, interests, and even tried to be more sexy or cute. However, my boyfriend is not very interested in sex, as I was his first partner and I didn't have much experience either. He said he was never really interested in sex and just likes playing PC games, especially League of Legends. I've tried learning to play, but he gets upset when I'm not a pro at it when he "teaches" me, and he doesn't even last a minute teaching me before getting frustrated.
Before I say anything to him, he sighs and says he doesn't care or that it's stupid. He often assumes I'll say or do something I've never done, and this leads to arguments. He makes me cry both inside and outside the house which is always so embarrassing, but he's never apologized or tried to make me feel better. He just has a cold expression and gets even more annoyed, looking away.
There are times when he is nice and loving, but it's very rare. I get confused when he acts that way, and I forget everything he's done to hurt my feelings. I would never forgive anyone else for the things he's done, but I'm very grateful for all he's done for me, and I always let him know.
I tell him I'm grateful, I tell him he's handsome, I praise him, I love him, I always hug him & caress him. But sometimes, I’ll give him his space for like 3 weeks but it isn’t enough. After a while he’ll come home from work and he’ll go straight to his pc and if I try to cuddle him or kiss him for a few minutes , he gets super mad and annoyed, telling me he just wants to play bc he’s tired.
He never says I'm pretty, but he gets annoyed when guys message me on social media saying they think I'm pretty. I always ask him if he thinks I'm attractive because he never looks at me or says I'm pretty. I don't feel like he finds me attractive at all. When I try on sexy or pretty clothes and ask him if I look good, he'll just say "yeah" or "ugh, I'm playing," without ever looking at me and continue playing his game. He doesn’t look into my eyes!
When I try to talk to him about funny videos or things that happened to me or interest me, he always says, "Ugh, I don't want to hear about that." He says that about everything. It breaks my heart that he's so uninterested in me. I know guys don’t like clothes, makeup, and those kinds of things but fashion interests me a lot and when my partner talks about his interest I feel happy seeing how his face lights up so why does he hate when my face lights up? Why does he ALWAYS turn that smile into tears? Why is he with me if he seems to hate me so much?
I've lost a lot of weight and try to look my best for him, he says that I care about my looks way too much but I feel like he treats me according to how I look. When I ask him why he doesn't pay attention to me, he just says always says "ugh" “ugh” that Korean sound angry Koreans make. It always triggers me. I don't know why he doesn't like me, so I try to fix myself in any way I can. I'm already smart and nice, so I feel like it’s my looks and now I feel extremely insecure with my looks and personality. I starve myself to try to be as pretty/slim as I can, like the girls he had saved on his phone when I had first met him but nothing seems to be enough. He doesn’t have any photos of me either btw. He doesn’t post me though, he doesn’t post anything on social media he only scrolls on Facebook like, a lot.
I get a lot of attention from others, but not at home. He hates that I like TikToks funny cat memes, and other "dumb" stuff, but they're just innocent jokes, and I have nothing else interesting in my life. I'm very lonely because this situation makes me so depressed and it makes me feel stupid and useless. I don't feel like I'll ever be liked/loved by anyone If my own partner doesn't love me.
He yells at me and starts arguments over the simplest things, like sharing something I thought was funny or interesting. It’s never negative or insulting. Everything makes him angry and annoyed. I sometimes feel scared that he'll get too angry and break things again, as he's already broken 4 TVs. I don't even do anything to him; he just gets so angry when I ask for a bit of attention. I just don't understand why. I feel so lonely.

Recently I started cooking and baking more, with average results. I collect LEGO Star Wars. I also enjoy the eventual night out with dinner and drinks but my social battery depletes fast. I kinda like travelling but not the process of going to airport - plane etc.
