Best tea for weight loss

I'm visiting SF early June! Trying to see where I can cut my costs since I'm over budget after finding out I will have to rent a car for Muir Woods since their shuttle will not be running. I heard that you can see everything in the Japanese Tea Garden in 15 minutes and that it is best during fall and spring. Is it still worth paying entrance fee without the fall foliage or cherry blossoms?

I’ve always been an active guy who does enjoy downtime often. I live on a ranch (a big one, lol) that my entire immediate family also lives on and we spread the work load, so I’m moderately muscular but not enough to say “that guy pumps weights”, haha. But I DO enjoy my downtime playing with my dogs, hopping on the xbox or just simply sitting outside and drinking on my porch, listening to Baseball. (Backstory concluded).
Earlier this year I was playing xbox on my couch when I noticed a slight twitch in my left index finger, making it slightly annoying to play games. I wrote it off as being tired and decided to take a shower and watch some TV instead. The twitches started popping up EVERYWHERE as I sat there. It felt like I was boiling, almost. I’m not an anxious guy, by any means, but this has changed recently.
When I woke up for work the next morning, my left forearm ached. My left hand had a shake to it that made it difficult to hold my cup of coffee. My right thigh felt tight and no matter what I did, it wouldn’t stretch out. I decided to call off from work and go see the good ole’ doc.
He performed a motor strength test and told me that I had perfect motor function and no loss of strength anywhere, nor atrophy. He told me I had anxiety and pumped me full of prescriptions and sent me on.
Fast forward a month and I started having these symptoms as well. • black dots in vision • perceived loss of strength • trouble sleeping • night sweats • entire body muscle spasms • headaches • trouble grabbing small objects with my left hand • eyelid/tongue began twitching • cramping.
I decided to go see a different doctor who immediately told me I was showing early onset symptoms of ***. I’m 28, and never really considered it to be a possibility. I was devastated and spent the entire time driving home on the phone with my girlfriend freaking out.
I called a neurologist and his assistant actually asked him to talk with me personally over the phone. He said that a regular doctor diagnosing *** was as reliable as Texas weather. He ordered an EMG that he performed himself across my entire body, including my tongue and feet. 90% clean because he discovered the back pain I’ve been ignoring was actually a slipped vertebrae in my back, pinching nerves. No signs of *** or anything else.
He diagnosed me with BFS with cramping. He told me to up my potassium intake, increase my sleep, reduce caffeine, alcohol and nicotine intake and try to watch less TV.
My symptoms are light now almost halfway through the year, but I wanted to share some of the symptoms I have with others so that they can decide to schedule a Neurologist that cares asap.
Don’t go down the rabbit hole. Whether you do or don’t have something terrible, don’t stop living as best you can on its behalf.

Hi 24f , 151 cm , weighing at 63 now . I had a massive weight gain 8 yrs back when i was doing my inter and when i was in clg ie 4 yrs back i lost quite a lot of wt(from 73 to 63) , and for the past few yrs i have been mostly constant but without realising i gained 5 kgs(68kg) slowly over time . Now in 2023 sept i wanted to get healthy again and started my journey , i have stubborn body , does not gain easily does not loose wt easily. I tried to go to gym previously but was not consistent. Now from past few months i am trying to be more active and i always try to eat healthy . I weighed at 62 in march and have been consistently around the same weight again 62/63 😑, i donno how to break past this set weight. I reached my plateau once again , the same happened 4yrs back but i was ok then as i have lost a lot and thought i will maintain it for a while . Maintaining weight has been easy and the weight loss these past few months is not too restrictive or anything, i dont believe in being restricted for a few months and then doing whatever i want , i wanted a consistent healthy way of losing wt .pls suggest me how to get past this plateau . I thought of taking cultfit ka transform program , did anyone of you or someone you know try it ?how was the progress ? Does the nutritionists actually help? TIA 🤗

Hi All,
Going on a vacation to Florida (Atlantic Side) soon and planning to do some surf fishing, nothing too serious, mostly relaxing.
As I am flying I will be renting a rod from a local tackle shop and buying any bait/tackle I might need when I get there (not traveling with any). My plan was to get some things to make a few Carolina rigs, fish finder rigs and pompano rigs. Any reccomendation on what I should buy (hook sizes, hook types, weight size/types, beads, leader lines, etc) to have a lean but effective setup?
I have surf fished before on the gulf side but I am asking as I am trying to be lean/mean on this trip and want to know what I need before I arrive.
Was also wondering was it worth it to try any top water (like a popper)? Or will bottom rigs be my best bet?
For bait was planning on getting some live & frozen shrimp also considering maybe some fish bites and sand fleas?
Also any other general advice you have I would gladly read!!!

Let me start off by saying if you haven’t read part 1, you should!
My name is Lani (27f) and this is my crazy catfish story. I hope you’re ready for a rickety roller coaster ride because you’ll get one with this story. I was assisted in this telling of my story because the journey is his too later down the road. Don’t be afraid to put your input or if you’ve gone through something similar. I will try to provide context as best as I can if you have any questions and I will provide a photo or a few because we both worry she is doing this to others.
Back in 2017 Ashley and I met off an anonymous app called whisper. I was only looking for friends at that time. Since, I was still wary since you have no idea who the person behind the screen is. Anyways, we exchanged Snapchat user names from there, talked here and there. (Her snapchat user is niteowl42020 btw) But, not much.. Because, I was always super busy. But, around February 2018 we started catching feelings. Then, started dating on march 3rd 2018. We acted like any other couple always finding something to talk about and laughing over stupid shit. But, one thing I found off about her is she would have to get off FaceTime around 12 in the afternoon (my time) every day. Ashley would say “I am going to work” Then, around 5 (my time) we would call all night and fall asleep on the phone. I didn’t think much of it. So, I didn’t pay no mind. But, this went on for the whole 6 years of our relationship and it was comfortable to me anyway. January 18th 2019 she “proposed” to me over the phone. I agreed, I know I sound crazy. But, I thought she was the one.. The first thing that popped into my mind is “what the actual fuck am I doing? Who accepts an online proposal?!” But, a week later I brought up how I wanted to meet up with her. But, she always made up an excuse of how she wanted to move to a better house. So, I could have a stable future with her. But, that wasn’t good enough for me. So, I decided that I would take it into my own hands and look at flights. Then, I hit a roadblock when I realized I never even knew her address. So, the arguments were the same old shit because I wanted to come see her and she wouldn’t let me come for a visit. I even brought up the idea of her visiting, she refused that as well because of “work” and that’s when I started seeing huge red flags in her behavior. She became possessive. Constantly asking where I was, who I was with and what I was doing. She would get mad at me when I wouldn’t text her. I was literally driving like who the fuck texts and drives? Not me! Then, she would get mad at me about lacking in communication. But, she wasn’t great at it herself. Teamwork makes the dreamwork, right? She would expect me to be in bed by a certain time every night. Even when I had my days off from work and I worked from 10-7 usually. The time that was convenient for her was she’d want to be asleep was at 9 (my time) Which would be 2 her time, I didn’t understand why. But, it was our routine because she wanted it to be. Until it wasn’t it for me anymore. She would constantly request me to take pictures of my work schedule. So, she knew when I was working or not. She also would ask me to alter my schedule to suit her needs sometimes which made me uncomfortable. Anytime I was hanging out with my cousins having a girl’s day. She would ask for me to provide proof which came across as lack of trust. But, I took the photos anyway because I didn’t want conflict. Now, looking back was controlling behavior that I struggled to see. I have this friend, but we are just going to call her A. She ended up coming over for thanksgiving dinner. I didn’t tell Ashley beforehand, the plan of A coming over wasn’t set in stone. Since, she had work that morning. My family typically has parties almost every weekend. So, needless to say we were having a party that night. She ended up saying “have fun” in the most obnoxiously guilt ridden way possible. I felt so belittled. But, I wasn’t gonna let that stop me from having a good time. So, I had two drinks and then A offered me a joint. I didn’t want to it turn down. Because, like I said I wanted to have a good time. Anyway, Ashley was on FaceTime with me. I proceeded to take a hit she told me “that was enough” But, I took another one instead and she looked at me like she wanted to punch me in the face. Literally, she look so internally enraged that she looked miserable. As if somebody ruined her party instead of her ruining my party with my family. All of this happened around 10 (my time) But, she was catching an attitude with me because she was tired and tried to force me to go to bed. Even though, I wanted to continue to party. But, we ended up in a heated dispute because she wanted to be in control over what I was and wasn’t doing. On March 16th of 2024 I met this guy named Joey (29f) on a dating app. I specifically was on there searching for friends. We hit it off instantly because he was a vibe. So, I felt like I needed his number. We exchanged numbers and the next day we texted. Some time went by and we grew into close friends really fast. We would speak everyday when I couldn’t talk to Ashley. One day, I felt like I should mention that we were friends. Because, I felt like I didn’t want to hide him from her. Which is normal right? Well, Ashley ended up having a disgusted yet confused expression on her face saying “What the fuck? How did you meet?” I told her exactly how we met and that I was just on the app for friends which was the truth. She also wasn’t giving me the proper friendship I needed in the relationship. I wanted her to be not only my partner but my best friend. Some time passed and my friend Joey said “I know she plays Fortnite because you mentioned it to me. So, why doesn’t she play with me or something?” and I had to tell him that she told me the reason why is because she “isn’t a people person” which he found really odd. Because, I would get along with her friends and she didn’t want to know or be around any of mine. Joey kept telling me he had this weird feeling that Ashley wasn’t being truthful about something. But, I didn’t see it that way because you’re supposed to trust your partner and she seemed to always be honest with me. So, I got slightly defensive. But, for some reason I had this feeling that I could trust him too. Which felt very confusing to me. With each time we spoke we gotten closer, how is that possible right? I said to myself I only wanted friends. But, I felt myself falling for a man I hardly knew. Yet, it felt so familiar like I have known him forever. I didn’t know how to tell Ashley.. So, I just kept trying to push my feelings off for him until I couldn’t anymore. Our relationship grew so unhealthy and toxic. I couldn’t stop thinking about Joey as well. It felt like she was pushing me towards him because even when I tried pushing away from him… I couldn’t. I needed to see him more and talk to him more. I ended up asking him “Do you want to hangout on IMVU with me?” (For context IMVU is a 3D chatting app where you are avatars and can meet people from all over the world which he happened to have as well) and he said “Sure, if that’s what you wanna do” we chatted on there for a bit and I was flirting with him but he was weird about it because he’s not into “IMVU stuff” he kept saying “You look better in real life” which was so cute and sweet. So, I hung up on Ashley while she was sleeping and FaceTimed with Joey. Needless to say if he wanted to have phone sex that night, I would’ve been so down. The attraction and chemistry between us was insane and intense. It’s electrifying in the most beautiful way. I wanted to break it off with her because I felt like he’s what I wanted and needed. But, I didn’t. I pushed it off. If you ask me “why?” at that time it would’ve been because I was so accustomed to her company and I loved her.. But, as a friend. Then, the 7th of April I confessed my feelings to him. Because, I yet again hung up on her to talk to him. I know it sounds bad on my part in a way. But, I was so unhappy. I tried for so long to be happy with her it just wouldn’t work no matter how hard I tried. After, I confessed my feelings he also confessed his for me and I knew then what I had to do. But… I just couldn’t just end it like that. He was trying to be supportive even though I know now that it hurt him to the point he cried. For a man to cry.. That’s a lot of love he has for you. On the 8th I gave her an ultimatum of if we either meet this year or it’s over. But, deep inside I really wanted to be with him instead of giving her that chance. I even told her “one foot is out the door” and she kept victimizing herself towards me to make me feel guilt ridden. Even though, I knew I was over her she was still trying to manipulate me into believing the same story. Which was “you can come here when I have a better house that isn’t falling apart” and it was the same excuse she made every time I mentioned wanting to meet up with her. On the 9th I said “fuck the ultimatum” I want to be with someone who actually cares about me. Cares about my feelings and who treats me like his best friend as well as the love of his life. So, I chose the person who’s been my rock since we met and where my heart truly belonged. Thus, ending the relationship with Ashley. On April 14th Joey (my boyfriend) asked me to be his girlfriend in the most sweetest and loving way that I could’ve ever imagined. I felt like I was floating on air the entire night. This man is literally my whole existence, he has been my biggest supporter throughout this entire shit show of my so called “last relationship” because the lies were going to unravel very soon. Sooner than I could’ve ever imagined…
This is the part everyone has been waiting for the catfish segment We’ve finally reached the 18th of April I was on FaceTime with my boyfriend, sharing my screen to show him what my “Ex’s” brother’s facebook profile. I mentioned how similar they looked and he was curious so I showed him. I went back to his profile, then tapped back the home icon on facebook and then he told me “No wait! Baby, go back to the profile real quick!” So, I did what he asked of me because he sounded worried. But, this is where it gets scary for me because he’s staring and then he looks intensely at his phone.. I’m just confused at this moment like “what’s going on?” Repeating over and over “What is it, baby?” At this point his face is dropped and he looks like he’s overthinking. (I now know he was because he wasn’t sure if it would hurt me more or not. But, he felt deep inside after an internal battle I should know the truth and I deserved the truth) I feel worried because I don’t know what’s happening.. He says “Babe, can I take over the screen share?” I’m still confused so I say “Ok, but why?” Then, I see before my very eyes that there is an image of a man and what looks to be my “ex fiancé” which has me super confused and upset. I was feeling overwhelmed. He then shows me that it says “Married to Ashley B*N” I’m like “Why is her last name B*N?” She told me her last name was “Foret” (i’ve tried to look her up, look into and found nothing… Many times) But, he tapped on the profile. When he tapped on it I seen that she’s been married since 2014, her baby that she told me she adopted that was “our” baby (The baby was supposed to be biologically her cousin’s baby but she didn’t want her as well as her being unfit) was actually her and her husband’s biological child. Mind you that little girl has called me “mommy” for a whole year! Imagine how confused I felt. Like, She’s only known me through a screen but I did feel connected to her because I have known her since she was born. I didn’t know I was in a fake relationship this whole time because I never knew she was even married. How can somebody hide the fact they have a husband or wife from somebody for that long? Well, she did somehow. My man went through all the pictures with me that we could see and I cried. I cried because of all the years and tears i’ve wasted on somebody I didn’t matter to. But, I needed to know why still. So, I reached out to her brother the same day I provided proof and with some time and convincing we got into a video chat via facebook messenger. From there I found out Ashley from what he knew hasn’t actually ever dated women but she did when she was younger use women for nude photos of themselves, she never actually worked a day in her life so when she told me she “worked” all the time it was a lie, she also told me she was born in 1995 but in reality she was born in 1990 which would mean she is 6 years older than me! I felt so disgusted at that point I literally felt sick to my stomach and felt like I was going to throw up. I also found out from her brother that none of her family knew about me at all. Only her grandmother which she took advantage of because she was old and her memory was basically fully deteriorated. So, if she even brought me up they would’ve just thought she was crazy. I had an impossible time sleeping but the whole time my twin flame was there for me trying to make it easier by calming me down and soothing this endless trauma I was faced with. He ended up finally reaching out to her and getting into contact through text messages seeing as she blocked him as well as me from facebook (she blocked me way before I even knew she even had facebook since she said she had no social media besides snapchat and twitter which she made for me currently known as X, now I see why because she was hiding her double life) she blocked him on facebook because he sent a long message stating how Ashley broke me and he had to mend my heart after she shattered it. Which isn’t a lie because she broke me a long time ago but this was the final straw. Needless to say she was telling him how she couldn’t talk to me because she seemed to just not be able to face me. She wouldn’t even at least respond to texts and it had to be because I knew the whole truth. My man blocked her because he got tired of her runaround bs too. I wanted proper closure but I never got it from her. Which i’m ok with today because my man has been healing me and her brother is the one that gave me closure. Because, she couldn’t step her titties up and apologize from the damage she’s done. But, i’m in a much better place and hopefully it gets better from here. I’ve recently found out she hid everything on her facebook because she doesn’t want to be found out anymore it seems. Her husband also wants to work it out after her years of cheating which is beyond me. But, yet again it still makes me question am I even the only one she’s done this to? Because, I really don’t think so. I think she may actively be doing it still. I’m not sure.
To end this on a more positive note Yes, we are both together and still thriving. We have plans in the future for us, we have both saved each other in many ways since we met and will continue making each other’s lives easier. So, this isn’t only a catfish story. But, it’s a love story too. Without loss there could never be gain. Without pain there could never be pleasure. Without the sun there could never be rain. Without you there could never be a me. I love you forever and always, my twin flame.

Argument 1: "Lebron wouldn't take the vet minimum"
YES HE WOULD. Understand this, yes $50 million is a lot but Lebron is in a unique and unprecedented situation. Financially we all know he is a billionaire and for him he will likely make $50mill+ in endorsement and sponsorships every year for the rest of his life. Additionally, if he ever wanted to get into TV he would likely get a Tom Brady like Fox deal worth $100mil+. The point is Lebron James does not need basketball earnings, because he is a brand, a brand that will outlive his playing career.
Now that money is out of the way ask yourself this, what would be the absolute perfect way Lebron could end his career? The most storybook ending for the 18 year old "Chosen one" who came into this league with the weight of the world on his shoulders in 2003? WINNING A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH HIS SON! This would not only be his proudest moment, most cherished championship, but for a man who has accomplished everything in the basketball world, this would be the cherry on top of a legendary career. And for the city of Phoenix Lebron would become a hero and he would have brought two franchises their first championship, and being a part of four championship franchises cementing him as a "winner". Once you have all the money in the world what matters? Family and experiences. Lebron has the opportunity to achieve the ultimate dream.
Argument 2: "Why would Lebron leave LA?"
The Suns have their issues but the Lakers are very dysfunctional right now. Aside from their struggles to find a coach, LA simply does not have the talent to compete for a championship in the loaded West next season.
If you were a Dad, would you want your son to come into a dysfunctional organization? Not only that but face the scrutiny, and bright spotlight of the LA media? Lebron understands more than anyone how difficult navigating that as a young player can be. LA media and the Lakers as a whole is simply a toxic organizational relationship. Whether its calling for coaches to be fired, players to be benched or traded, or even exposing the personal lives of the players LA media is ruthless. Added to the fact with social media nowadays we know Lebron has to be thinking about how he can protect Bronny from unnecessary distractions. Phoenix media on the other hand is much more team/player friendly. Lebron understands in Phoenix not only would less of the spotlight be on Bronny with three other superstars already there, but Bronny's perceived skillset is 3 AND D(EFENSE)! We just saw Grayson Allen get a massive extension, Bronny surrounded by elite shotmakers will give him the best chance to succeed and Lebron knows that. We saw time and time again 40 year old Lebron carrying that Lakers team, in Phoenix it would be a different story.
Also it's important to note that our GM is James Jones Lebron's long-time friend and person he trusts, and we have a coach, unlike the Lakers. Coach Budenholzer is not only a great offense mind who specializes in getting the most out of role players (Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton), he will easily be Lebron's best head coach since Ty Lue. And an owner in Mat Ishbia who is spontaneous and impulsive, but absolutely willing to do anything to win. Is Lebron really gonna trust JJ Reddick, or some first time Lakers head coach with Bronny's development? Reports have stated he himself has been distant from the Lakers coaching search maybe because he thinks there is a real possibility he leaves? Also I don't see Lebron permanently moving to Phoenix but with his family in LA Phoenix is only an hour flight commute and perfect destination that is close enough if he did decide to leave the Lakers.
Argument 3: "Bronny said he doesn't want to play with his dad"
A lot of what is said in the predraft process is calculated. Bronny is absolutely PR trained and knows everything that comes out of his mouth is going to be examined and hyper-analyzed. I think Bronny said this as a way of separating himself from the idea that drafting him also means Lebron is coming, to prevent a random team like the Pistons (no shade) from drafting him, expecting Lebron to come, he never does, and then throwing Bronny to the side with no intention to develop him. Bronny is not dumb. He knows he will never be his Dad but he also knows his best chance to succeed in the NBA will be with his DAD there during his first year. What is more important to Lebron a max contract or potentially winning a championship and developing his son so he can eventually get that coveted second NBA contract? With Lebron on the roster Bronny would absolutely get minutes, utilized correctly with the greatest basketball mind ever leading the charge, and given the greatest chance to succeed and make a place for himself in this league.
Argument 4: "Lebron is old and he doesn't make us better"
There is literally no move we could make with our current situation that would be more impactful than getting Lebron James on a minimum contract. Yes he is older, yes father time is inching closer. BUT, Lebron fixes the current Suns biggest problem: The lack of a true leader. Although I don't necessarily agree with the take the Suns need a point guard, having Lebron as your decision maker will unlock this offense beyond what we can imagine. Forget the fact he is statistically still a top player, Lebron's playmaking and IQ are the two things that have seen the least deterioration as he ages, and are the two things the Suns lack massively. We don't need more scoring although having the best scorer in the game as a facilitator essentially makes this team unbeatable offensively. And above all having the greatest player in basketball to play for our franchise would be cool regardless if a championship comes out of this.
Argument 5: "Why would we waste a draft pick on Bronny"
The Suns future is bleak at best, but we have a window, a short one, going ALL IN is the only right answer. People want to trade Beal or trade KD but the reality is the damage is done, we all knew we mortgaged our future to win now and we have to do everything in our power to ensure it wasn't a complete waste. With the right development, best case for Bronny is a 10ppg scorer who can be a pesky defender like a Jose Alvarado, but drafting him should be the move if there's a serious chance Lebron would come along as well. This organization has had multiple topten picks over the last decade missing on majority of them, I am not too worried about a draft pick if it has even the potential of being transformative for this franchise.

5mg for the first 2 weeks of May, but moved to 10MG as the 5MG was just not cutting it any longer.
Spoke with my provider and they said that moving to 10MG would be fine, skipping the 7.5mg step, and also said that combining the remaining 2-Syringes of 5MG that I had would be fine as well, to get going on the 10MG right away.
The bump up is immediately noticable, and I can already tell that there will be another jump in weight loss. The appetite supression had dimished over the last month or so @ 5MG, but it's back, and I'm welcoming it. Along with a minor bit of stomach "Soreness" is what I've coined it as.
Major discovery is-- that when the medication is at its most affective for me-- I'm noticing that I am incredibly more organized and tidy around my home. Woke up and did the dishes and scrubbed my stove and sink. Went out and picked up some desk organizers and a drying rack for my kitchen.....and it was all very matter of factly done-- and WILDLY out of character for me.
Began @ 320 pounds, currently at 288-- but have been stuck there for about 3 weeks.

I thought the only way to lose weight was to be at a calorie deficit. So why haven’t I lost a single pound when I haven’t eaten anything at all for nearly two weeks. That’s not exaggerating. I’ve consumed only plain water.
How the hell am I ever gonna lose weight healthily if I’m starving myself completely and it’s still not doing it. It’s not like I’m completely sedentary. I walk at least two miles a day.
I genuinely give up. I’m distraught. I had my blood checked and my thyroid is fine but even if it wasn’t, starving myself would result in weight loss anyway, right?
I feel like I have no choice but to keep at this BS. If I stop eating indefinitely I’ll have to lose weight.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on? I’m so upset. I feel like a failure.
Edit: didn’t out starving myself intentionally. Had a stomach bug and just never started eating again. Thought it would be a good chance to see how many calories I need to sustain me but apparently zero is way too much. What? Should I start working out for hours, too? Would that do it? I’m at a loss.

Sorry for the long post and sorry for any typos; English isn’t my first language.
Me and my best friend met back in 2009 in college where we became close very fast. In the first few years of our friendship she had a hard time with family members who struggled with addictions, DV and family members who past away. She also had a major car accident what led her to be hospitalized for weeks. All throughout those tough times I was there to comfort her and help out with whatever she or her family needed, like any good friend would do.
In the years that followed we did many things normal friends would do like have movie nights, go clubbing, celebrated big life moments, cried with each other when our hearts got broken, etc.. I quickly noticed that when she had boyfriends I didn’t see or speak to her as much. Normally we would talk every other day and see each other a few times a month. But when she was in a relationship I suddenly saw her a few times a year. She would make me leave if her BF pulled up to her house and only made time for me when I insisted I needed her or missed her…
In 2020, when she was in her latest relationship, she began to have some health issues which turned out to be pretty severe. She was diagnosed with autoimmune disease and had many complications from medications. Her BF broke up with her because he couldn’t handle seeing her become so sick and simultaneously seeing his future with her vanishing before him. When I heard I was furious… ‘How could he do this?’… Things went pretty bad after that and she even ended up in a coma for a month. I was devastated seeing her lie there hooked up on all sorts of machines and not being able to see her because of COVID.
After she woke up from the coma it became clear how sick she really was. She was slowly losing all what was dear to her: her health, her vision, her mobility, her fertility, her looks… She used to do some modeling back in college but after all the medications and what not she had put on weight, her hair and teeth started to fall out and she was put in a wheelchair indefinitely. She was not taking it well, as to be expected. As a friend, and as a person, I always try to look on the bright side and tried to cheer up her whenever I could visit or during phone calls. She started to lash out and made some very nasty comments to me. I can understand that everything was shit but there was no need to put all her anger, sadness and grief on me. But I put up with it because she needed me.
When she got out of the hospital she went to a rehabilitation facility to learn how to deal with her new disabilities (wheelchair and loss of vision). The COVID rules there were okay so someone could visit every day, but it had to be the same 3 persons for a period of time. She put her parents and me down for visitation. We were asked to visit at least twice a week so she had a visitor every day and would get lonely. At first accepted and for the first few months I went twice, some times 3, times a week.
During these months I was promoted at work, had to move out of my apartment and was seeing a therapist for EMDR…. It was a very hectic time which led me to ask my friend to please put another friend or family member on the visitation list for a short period of time so I could get some rest and sort out my living arrangements. Although I loved to be there for her, it was very hard seeing her sick and putting up with her negative attitude. She did not handle it well when I asked her to switch up the visitation. She was mad and hurt, wouldn’t let anyone else see her because of her ‘bad looks’ and said it was okay for me to visit once a week for 2 or 3 weeks because she couldn’t miss me…
A short time after that conversation I had a complete breakdown, it was long coming but I ignored all the signs. I informed my friend that I wouldn’t be visiting for some time because of what was happening and immediately I got bombarded with texts saying I let her down, that I was never there for her when see needed me most and that I should be grateful she didn’t die so I could apologize. I was so hurt that I went no contact for some time, in which I got diagnosed with a burnout caused by OCPD. When I tried to explain what was going on to her that I didn’t tell her sooner and how disappointed she was with me. I broke her heart by leaving her and for that I was a bad friend.
Before any of this happened I never had any arguments with any of my friends, only with her. I felt very sad for a long time for all of the things she said and she made me feel like I was a bad friend. But how could I be there for her when I wasn’t even there for myself? I took some time to heal, stoped working for some time and finished my therapy. During that time me and my friend had no contact. When I felt better I reached out and tried to talk things out but she continued to make me feel like less of a person for ‘abandoning her in her time of need’. We continued arguing over the phone. I felt very frustrated with her for not understanding how I felt and making it all about her, her illness and me ‘leaving’ her that I made the decision to cut her out of my life…
She continued to make me feel so bad about myself, for taking time to heal and be there for me… I didn’t need someone in my life who was so negative and kept dragging me down just when I was starting to feel better. It may seem as a drastic decision but thinking back on all of our years of friendship; it was always all about her… I was great for being her friend, for being there when she needed me and for always doing what see asked of me. She didn’t do that for me, at least not in the way I did for her.
I continue to feel bad and second guessing everything, even after months. So Reddit: Am I The Asshole?

I'm fairly new to Wegovy, using Sequence to manage my prescription and weight loss. I did 4 weeks of 0.25 (lost about 6 pounds) and just started my first week of 0.50. If the doctor moves me to the next dosage for my next round of injections, I will take my second injection of 1.00 while I am on a cruise.
Is that a bad idea? I worry that the side effects from increasing the dosage will be worse moving from 0.50 to 1.00. My side effects have mostly been abdominal cramps and semi-urgent bathroom visits, so nothing doctor-worthy, just things that make me uncomfortable and happy to stay at home for a day.
With Sequence I can either go with what the doctor wants or I can make a request to stay at the same dosage. What would you do?

[Street] The TARDIS lands and the doctor walks out with Ruby. Ruby : We’re back on earth. I can visit my mother again. Doctor : (Sniffs the air) This is London. Ruby : (Crossing her arms) You can tell where we are by sniffing the air. Doctor, you are truly mad. Doctor : (Walking to a lady coming out of her house) It’s my power. Ruby : Doctor, what are you doing? Doctor : (In front of the Lady) Sorry mamme, What is the date today? Clarissa : (Takes out her earpods) What did you say sir? Doctor : What date is it today? Clarissa : 29th April 2025. She puts her earphone back in and starts jogging . The doctor goes back to Ruby. Doctor : We are in the right place at the right time. Ruby : (Hugs the doctor) Thank you so much, I’m going to see my mum! (Slowly, stop hugging the doctor ) But… Can you give me a lift? Doctor : I won’t guarantee a return to where and when we are now but you could take the bus. Ruby : It’s fine doctor, I could just take the bus or tube back home, I am in London after all. Doctor : Great, I’ll see you later then. Ruby : Goodbye doctor. Ruby walks towards the station while the doctor goes to the TARDIS, suddenly, the earth shakes violently, the doctor falls to the ground. Doctor : What the hell is happening? The shot then slowly goes down deeper into the earth, showing a massive hole, a base underneath.

Dalek 1 : Our plan is ready for action. Going towards the big hole in the middle. Dalek 2 : The D-Bomb is ready to explode. Terag : (Standing below a big object) What is my job now master. Emperor : (Deep and Slow) Evacuate the humans! Terag : But what would we do with them master? Emperor : Three choices. Kill! Abandon! Convert! Terag : Convert. Emperor : Now set up the plan with the supreme dalek! Terag : On it master. He walks away to the supreme dalek. Emperor: (Looks at the camera) Our plan shall begin!

Doctor : What the hell is happening? The doctor gets up and opens the TARDIS door and goes inside.

Doctor : (Speaking to the console) TARDIS. There is something wrong, why is the earth shaking violently? (TARDIS makes a noise, the doctor sits down) Earthquake? Are you completely sure? (Makes another noise) Your detecting activity, like what? (Makes another noise) You’ve detected drilling. Drilling for what? (Makes another noise) You don’t know, well then, I’ll have to find out what is causing this ruckus. (Stands up and pulls a lever, the TARDIS starts to dematerialise) Time to find out what’s happening! (The TARDIS lands with a tremendous force, flinging the doctor back) Woah. (Stands up) Time to explore. (The doctor leaves the TARDIS, this time, everything was foggy, the trees were dead and all the houses were destroyed, no sight of humans, it was entirely empty. Suddenly, a cloaked figure appeared from the foggy area. ????? : You’ve seen what you shouldn’t have. Doctor : Who are you? ????? : (Shakes his head) I’m the survivor. Doctor : The survivor of what? ????? : You shall not be told what is not meant to be told. Doctor : Tell me. ????? : You will figure out when the time comes, doctor. Doctor : How do you know my name!? ????? : You’ll figure it out. Doctor : I think I should leave. ????? : The doctor runs away For once he will never stay A lord from Gallifrey For he will find a way. The doctor stumbles into the TARDIS, dematerialising immediately, leaving the cloaked figure behind. ????? : I’m the last of lords, for the doctor will die in Twenty four hours.
[Ruby’s House]
The door opens, ruby goes inside. Ruby : mum! I’m home! Carla runs out of the kitchen. Carla : (Crying) Ruby! Ruby : (Crying) It’s nice to see you again. Carla kisses Ruby on the head. Carla : I thought you were gone forever. Ruby : Luckily I'm here. Carla : I’m glad you’re here now. Is the doctor with you? Ruby : No, why? Carla : Look at the ceiling. They both look at the ceiling, cracked through the entire house. Ruby : What happened to the ceiling? Carla : Everything is shaking, have you experienced it yet? Ruby : Yes. The earth randomly shook, luckily i didn’t fall. Carla : Don’t tell me you’re going to leave? Ruby : I’ll stay. Where’s Nanny? Carla : Sleeping. Do you want to see her? Ruby : I’d love to. They both walk to Cherry’s room.
[Cherry’s Room]
Carla knocks on the open door, symbolizing her presence. Cherry wakes up. Cherry : I said don’t wake me up! (Looks at Ruby) Oh! My sweet child is here! Ruby runs up to Cherry and hugs her tightly. not too tight my dear, I'm a frail lady. Ruby : I’ll never leave your side again. Carla : Does that mean you're staying here? Ruby : (Turns to Carla) I’ll think about it. Cherry : She stayin’?! Carla : She said she’s thinking about it. Cherry : Good, good. Now! Where’s my bloody cuppa tea!? Carla : You were asleep mum! Cherry : But I told you to make me tea when I woke up. Ruby : (Stands up) I’ll do it for you. Carla : Nope, I’ll be doing it, you just came back, you ain’t doing any work today. Ruby : (The Tardis flies past) The Tardis was flying at a tremendous rate, we didn’t know where we were going, it was fate all around us. Cherry : Get to the good parts. Ruby : We found a shipwreck, (Picture of a shipwreck) it was new, no dust, sand drowning the ship in its entirety. We didn’t go inside, the doctor seemed frightened, tried to go back to the Tardis but it left. Cherry : Sounds interesting. Ruby : We were stranded. Cherry : I was stranded on the streets once. I tried to run away from home. Ha! Ruby : Nice one, next. We met with a person called Trabesius. (Trabesius appears)He was a nice guy, he checked the shipwreck for us, but he never came out. The only thing that came out were the daleks. (The daleks rush out of the spaceship.) Dalek 1 : Exterminate! Cherry : What are daleks, aliens? Don’t tell me. Ruby : And then… I don’t remember what happened, it was like my memory was erased. There was one thing I do remember, waking up in someone’s arms.

Ruby wakes up. Doctor : Don’t worry, you're safe with me.

Cherry : These stories are mad. Why is he called the doctor when he isn’t a doctor? Ruby : A pseudonym. Carla comes into the room with tea. Carla : I have tea. Cherry : Here comes the party pooper. Carla : I’m fun. Cherry : Say that to a shopping trip with a hundred vouchers, that’s fun for you. Carla : Do you want tea or not? Cherry : If you don’t give me my tea I'll personally give you my own whooping. (Cherry starts laughing) Just kidding, now give me my tea. Carla hands her the tea. Cherry : Thank you child. Carla : Remember, I am fun. Cherry : Sorry, I have dementia. (Laughs) Ruby : Stop trying to be a jokester. Cherry : It’s fun. Ruby : Should I leave, you need to drink your tea. Cherry takes a sip. Cherry : Child! How many sugars did you put in my tea!? Carla : (From the kitchen) Two! Cherry : I always have three! God! Now you have dementia! Ruby : Nanny! Cherry : Sorry child. Open the fridge. Ruby : What should I have today, haven’t eaten anything today, i’m starving? Carla : Ruby! We have shopping coming later, there’s nothing in the fridge to eat! Ruby : Ok! Close the fridge. Suddenly, the earth shakes again. Cherry : Oi! If that happens again, I'm giving the earth a spanking! Ruby : Something’s wrong.
[TARDIS]
Doctor : Something’s wrong. The doctor is sitting in a chair in the Tardis, reading a book. Doctor : A manual on how to operate a dalek, I wonder where I got this from, probably Davros. The doctor throws the book away Doctor : I need something better, how about ‘A Time Lords Tale’? (Flips to the first page.) Tale one, Seven Sisters. The best story ever. Chloe, Alice, Mary, Charlotte, Rosemary, Lizzie and Jeanne, the seven sisters of jealousy. I remember the story, one of my favorites. One sister tries to end the other because they have a better life than the other. (The doctor closes the book and throws it away) Do I have a TV in here? I do have Tardis recalls from previous adventures, I should have a look at that. (The screen suddenly appears and showcases an adventure) What adventure is this?

Ghaar : Everybody run! The jungle is on fire! (Everyone starts screaming.) Dalek 1 : Inferno! Set fire to the jungle! Ghaar : They’re here! The daleks are here! The scene stops.
[Tardis]
Doctor : The Karetin tribe in the jungle of fire, that’s what I called that adventure. Ah, my memories flood every time I see or hear about my legacy. (Turns to the console) Where are we going next? (Tardis makes a noise) You don’t know, that’s your best response.
[Base]
Emperor : Daleks! Sterilize the bomb! Dalek 3 : Already on it emperor. Emperor : Complete the plan! Terag : Why do we need a bomb in the first place? Emperor : This is our second objective! If we fail our first, this is our final resort! Terag : What is the first objective master? Emperor : I shall not tell you, you haven’t earned my trust completely. Terag : I will get the spaceships ready. Emperor : Do not transport the humans! They will be our pets! Terag : What!? You can’t possibly do that! Emperor : Don’t question our Stratagem! Our subordinates shall be our pets! Terag : But I am a human. Emperor : No you are not! You come from the planet Zeos! Terag : We still call our people humans. Emperor : We target the people on Earth! We saved you! Now you shall help us! Terag : I guess, but I still don’t agree with the plan. Dalek 2 : If you don’t agree, we will send you to the dalek camp. Terag : But you are going to enslave and kill billions. Dalek 2 : No point in fighting against us, our power is greater and stronger, we can execute you before you even speak. [Dalek Camp]
Dalek 2 pushes Terag into the camp. Terag : What am I going to do here? Dalek 2 : Look to your right! (Terag looks to the right) You must drag this test dalek to the testing room, you will be tied to the dalek. Terag : Fine. The Dalek holds a rope with his plunger. Dalek 2 : Tie this to the dalek. Terag ties the rope around The Dalek and tightens it upon himself. Terag : Where is the testing room? Dalek 2 : Forward, take a left, take two rights and a left and straight forward. I will follow you to see your progress, any stopping or breaks will result in punishment. Terag : But they are heavy. Dalek 2 : We don’t care. We will motivate you with zaps. Terag : (Gets zapped) Ah! Ok! I’m on it! Terag starts trying to drag the Dalek but he manages to move it a couple of inches before stopping. After that, he got zapped. Dalek 2 : Get back to work! Terag : Fine! This is worse than hell I tell you! This is worse than hell!
[Cherry’s Room]
Cherry : After 30 minutes, I’ve completed my bloody tea. Carla : Finally, I’m not making you another one. Cherry : But I want one. Carla : You aren’t getting any. Ruby goes into the room. Ruby : Mum, how many babies have you fostered since I left, the fridge seems full because of the pictures you have. Carla : I’ve fostered 17. Some for days, some for months but never a year. My favorite was Jamie Hark, an intelligent child he was. Cherry : When she says that, he could recite the ABC’s without making a mistake. Carla : Mum, shush. He could do math problems I couldn’t do. Cherry : I’ve never heard someone say they couldn’t do 1+1. Cherry starts laughing with Ruby, Carla doesn’t get what’s happening. Carla : How do you guys have such a good sense of humor? I’m not funny one bit and you crack jokes any time you get. Cherry : It’s because I have an old woman humor. Carla : (Laughing) Makes sense. Ruby : This is the best family reunion ever. Carla : Shopping will be here any moment, look after gran while I wait. Ruby : But I’m going to meet up with some friends Carla : But you just got here, I want to see more of you. Ruby : Please? Ruby walks out of the home, she walks to the left. Ruby : Morning Mrs Flood. Mrs Flood : Morning Ruby, nice to see you again.

Bartholomew : What do you want today Ruby? Ruby : I want a glass of red wine. Bartholomew : (Wiping the tables) Ok, what do your friends want? Trudy : I’ll have Beer. Girl 1 : I’ll have beer too. Girl 2 : I’ll have gin. Bartholomew : That will be £54. Trudy : That’s on me. (Brings out her card and pays for the drinks) Rubes, it’s your first time I've seen you since forever, I don’t want you to pay for your drinks. Ruby and her friends sit down at a table and start chatting away. Trudy : So… How’s life been? Ruby : Amazing, I saw some stuff with my new friend. Trudy : Like? Ruby : I can’t say. It's complicated. Girl 1 : You’ve been gone for so long. Girl 2 : Yeah Ruby, you haven’t spent any time with us since christmas eve. Ruby : It's complicated Suddenly, the earth shakes again. Trudy : Not again. It’s been happening for days, it’s really not funny anymore. The TV in the bar suddenly goes static and a voice can be heard.
[Base] Emperor : You all will be exterminated! All humans on earth beware of the force that is awaiting! For you will all feel the wrath of the daleks! The TV turns off.
[Bar]
Ruby : It can’t be. Trudy : What? What is it? Ruby : I’ve faced them before. Trudy : Faced what? Ruby : The daleks.
[Base] Emperor : Daleks! The plan is in place! All humans will be annihilated!
[bar]
Trudy : What are the daleks? Ruby : a race of death, ultimate destruction. Trudy : What a bunch of nonsense. Barista : I have your drinks, one gin, one wine and two beers. The barista puts the drinks on the table. Ruby : Thank you. Trudy : Thank you. Girl 1 and 2 : Thank you. Barista walks away.
[Dystopian Earth]
????? : I can sense it. The end has begun.
[Tardis]
The doctor suddenly wakes up. Doctor : Did I just say something? Was it my mind? (Stands up from the chair) What should I do next? I've already slept because of constant boredom. Look at space. (The doctor walks to the door and opens it, revealing himself on earth.) Since when was I here? I never landed. (The doctor walks out of the Tardis)
[Streets]
Doctor : Earth, is it still 29th April 2025? The Tardis makes a noise. Doctor : It is. Lovely. The doctor walks away.
[Outside the bar]
Trudy : This is where we leave. Goodbye Rubes, hope to see you again later. Ruby : See you all next week. Ruby starts walking away from Trudy and her other friends.
[Dalek Camp]
Dalek 2 : Have you completed your task!? Terag : Why are all of these people here? Dalek 2 : Because we need our slaves. Terag : I agree with the plan. Dalek 2 : I do not believe you. Get back to work! Terag still drags the Dalek through the cave. Dalek 2 : (Goes to another slave) Go to the emperor and beg for his forgiveness, he shall hear your scream for forgiveness! Slave goes towards the base.
[Base]
Leo : (Crying) I beg for forgiveness. Please, I don’t want to suffer anymore in the hands of the daleks. Emperor : You shall scream until your lungs and voice cannot take your screams anymore! Leo : (Crying) Please don’t do this to me? I was the survivor on Drandreggora! You killed my people in a conquest of Xanxium! You destroyed our entire race and kept us as puppets! Emperor : Beg! Leo : I beg! Please! Just let me go! I’ll bring you the seer. Kurt can help you! Emperor : Scanning. (Beam rays from its stalk) The prisoner tells the truth, you must bring your prophet over to us immediately! Leo : You aren’t using him. Emperor : You will face extermination if you do not comply! Leo : I don’t know where Kurt is now, you’d have to release me for me to find him. Emperor : We are not letting you escape, we will call Kurt down to the base. Leo : What? No. Emperor : Don’t argue with me! Daleks! Call Kurt! Leo : There’s many Kurt’s in London. Emperor : Last name chan. Leo : How did you know!? Dalek 1 : You don’t know anyone in London, in our records, Kurt Chan was one of the people who were on Drandreggora who escaped and fled. Dalek 4 : Hypnotic call progressing… Now. A wave of energy goes around the direction where Kurt is.
[Streets]
Kurt is walking along the streets, in a purple cloak and suddenly he stops. Dalek 4 : Come to us Kurt Chan. Kurt : Yes master. Kurt walks like a robot, eyes wide open and goes towards the dalek base.
[Base]
Dalek 4 : Emperor! Kurt Chan is coming. Emperor : We shall wait for his arrival! Start contacting Skaro! We need more daleks! Dalek 4 : On it. The dalek puts its plunger on the controls.
[Skaro]
Dalek 5 : We have gotten a message from planet earth. Supreme : What does the message say? Dalek 5 : Invasion fleet. Supreme : We need to send daleks to earth for the invasion. Dalek 6 : Bring the special weapons dalek for the invasion. He is well equipped. Supreme : Bring the special weapons dalek to spaceship One. Dalek 5 : How many spaceships will be launched? Supreme : 7 spaceships will be launched for each of the continents . Dalek 6 : We will get the spaceships ready for launch. Supreme : I will stay here and give you orders. Dalek 6 : We take all of our orders from the superior. Emperor dalek.
[Base]
Emperor : Keep track of Kurt! Make sure that he comes to the right place. Dalek 4 : He is near the base. Approximately 6 minutes. Emperor : Have you gotten any note from Skaro? Dalek 4 : Not yet. A message pops up. Dalek 4 : A message has just been sent from the supreme dalek. It says "We are getting ready for the invasion.” Emperor : The invasion takes place tomorrow! Today is The Eve of Armageddon, no one will expect us to come. Dalek 4 : Didn’t you just send a message to the earth via all televisions? Emperor : They won’t believe the message, it is a joke to the humans. Leo : They think everything is a joke. Emperor : Speaking is prohibited! Leo : Ok. Emperor : What did I just say!? Leo : Speaking is prohibited. Emperor : Exactly, now shut up! Leo stays quiet as he looks down to the ground. Emperor : Go back to the dalek camp! Dalek 1 and 3 plunge Leo's back as they drag him towards the Dalek camp.
[Ruby’s House]
Ruby comes back from the bar and slowly closes the door, not wanting to awake Carla and Cherry but she didn’t notice something behind her as she closed the door. Doctor : Hello Ruby. Ruby turns around to see the doctor. Ruby : What are you doing here? Doctor : Something’s wrong. Ruby : I know. Doctor : I saw dystopian earth, something bad is happening here. Ruby : You weren’t here to see the TV’s. A message from the daleks appeared: they're coming for earth. Doctor : Are you sure? Ruby : Yes. Doctor : Are you lying to me? Ruby : No. Doctor : I believe you, but I don't know what to do. Ruby : Where are you going to sleep? Doctor : Idk. Ruby : I’ll sleep on the sofa tonight, you can sleep in my bed. Doctor : No, I'll sleep on your sofa, you can sleep in your bed. Ruby : That’s ok to me.
[Base]
Kurt walks in. Kurt : You called. Emperor : You are a seer! Tell us the future. What will happen when we invade and enslave earth!? Kurt : I will have to look through my inner eye first if you want to find out what will happen in the future my lord . (Suddenly, he makes a weird noise) The earth will die in the hands of the daleks. One survivor will live in the aftermath. His name is unknown. Our earth will be dystopian for years to come. Emperor : You will tell me more when the events unfold. Kurt : Where will I go tonight? Emperor : You will be kept in the dalek prison! Kurt : Why? Emperor : You are my puppet! Do as I say! Hey all, looking for some ideas or inspiration for an unfinished room above our garage that I'm looking to make use of. It is a good size, roughly 21 feet long by 11 feet wide. The funky part is the fink truss system which limits the usability of the space.
I am hoping to finish it with sheetrock walls and maybe a skylight to add some extra light, but I'd love any ideas on how the space could be best utilized without removing the fink truss beams which are weight bearing. Looking to use the room as a WFH setup and mixed storage space. Appreciate any help!

The 2 derms I’ve been both said I have sebderm and prescribed ketoconazale which doesn’t do anything for me. These appts were 15 minutes total and one derm didn’t even analyze my scalp just said I have Seb derm and that’s it. My main issue is buildup I’ve had for like 5 years atleast, no matter what I can scratch my scalp and there’s always waxy gunk that accumulates under my fingernails. After all the research and products I’ve purchased, I’ve physically scratched the scalps of multiple friends of mine to make sure to make sure this wasn’t a common issue that I was overthinking. Right after washing my hair and later in the day no matter what I have buildup. Tried ketoconazale, mct oil, squalane, and tea tree, scalp scrubbers, a ton of medicated otc shampoos, salycilic acid pre wash, everything, antihistamines, ACV rinse, everything. There are times where there is slightly less buildup but it’s still there. For the most part my scalp looks pretty clear I’ve never had redness and flakiness like the google pics I see. The only redness I have is on one area of my scalp which is slightly tender at the top but the redness is hard to see and deeper in by the follicle. I do get itchy scalp when I workout or eat spicy foods but this only started like 5 months ago and sometimes it’s severe. I try my best not to scratch my scalp in the middle of a workout but can’t help it.

I have been on 2.4 for about 10 months, weight loss has slowed and I'm upping exercise/protein/fiber to address that but have noticed food noise and needing to eat more to feel full are coming back.
