Hi everyone.
I have a problem (title). My system is 12700h 3060m 32gb laptop. Screen is lg 55oledb3. The way I start a video is: ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 mpv --vo=gpu-next --target-colorspace-hint --gpu-api=vulkan --gpu-context=waylandvk "LG New York HDR UHD 4K Demo.ts"
Output: [ffmpeg/demuxer] mpegts: start time for stream 1 is not set in estimate_timings_from_pts [ffmpeg/demuxer] mpegts: stream 1 : no TS found at start of file, duration not set [ffmpeg/demuxer] mpegts: Could not find codec parameters for stream 1 (Audio: aac ([15][0][0][0] / 0x000F), 0 channels): unspecified sample format [ffmpeg/demuxer] Consider increasing the value for the 'analyzeduration' (0) and 'probesize' (5000000) options (+) Video --vid=1 (hevc 3840x2160 25.000fps) (+) Audio --aid=1 (aac) [HDR Layer] wayland compositor lacking color management protocol.. The problem is not a cable, have tested 3 of them, one of which in a shop, result is the same. If I open a video in normal mode - it plays great. GPU utilization between 90-100%, doesnt overheat (70-75 Celsius).
Any help is appreciated.

2024.06.09 13:14 Dizzy-Screen-6618 IS IT COMPLETELY DEAD??? (Ochokochi Deep-Dive)

IS IT COMPLETELY DEAD??? (Ochokochi Deep-Dive)
After almost a year since the fateful day that the Ochokochi was released into the Live Server, generating an all time high in anger and rage quitters, one question remains; Is the Ochokochi still any good? The affirmative answer is common knowledge to many, but today we will delve deep into the reason of this answer.
Even the greatest hater can't deny the Ochokochi's breathtaking design and unique mechanics
Strengths:
In order to utilize a Robot to its greatest potential, one must properly understand its strengths.
  • Durability: Even after its 25% HP nerf, the Ochokochi remains firmly entrenched in the tank status. Despite its maximum base durability is now only 300,000 HP, is easily spawns into a match with a cool 550,000+ HP with the right Pilot Skills, Modules and Drones.
  • Ability: The Ochokochi's ability is incredibly versatile and useful. For the full 8 seconds of ability the robot moves at an incredible pace while emitting powerful shockwave that push enemies away. For the first half of the ability all incoming damage is reduced (20%, 30%, 40% for MK1, MK2 and MK3 respectively). As an added bonus, the remaining damage that isn't blocked in this first phase is converted into DoT (Damage over Time, a.k.a. corrosion) damage and every projectile that hits the robot causes your robot to take one stack of DoT, this is very important, more on it later.
  • Firepower: 2 Medium and 2 Light hardpoints are no laughing matter. Equip this robot with the right weapons and you'll be the last one standing. We will talk about weapon choices in the next section
Weaknesses:
Understanding your Robot's limitations is arguably more important than understanding its power.
  • Speed: When using the Ochokochi always have a clear goal to where you want to go and what you want to achieve. It's very easy to burn a lot of time wandering aimlessly from one side of a map to the other.
  • Ability Cooldown: With a cooldown of 12 seconds and an effective duration of 4 seconds, you need to learn to utilize it where you really need it, namely when taking heavy fire from the enemy, do not use it just to get to places fast (exception; securing important beacons especially during a close end-game).
  • Rust: Like every other highly durable Robot that relies on healing to keep it alive, the Ochokochi is highly susceptible to the Rust effect. In fact, due to the fact that DoT is 100% healable damage, the Ochokochi may be even more reliant on heal than almost any other Robot around.
Builds:
Judge not a Robot on its own, but on what it carries upon itself.
Weapons:
  • Leiming/Shifang: The most popular build in the highest level of the game, this build deals insane damage to groups of enemies and has the added fun bonus of charging your Mothership and Titan extremely fast if needed.
  • UE Corona/Halo, UE Punisher: The former excels in dealing extreme amounts of damage to robots at close range, most effective at 120-150m against regular robots (It's bearer will have no issues transporting them to this destination). This build will lock your enemies down and finish them off in a blink of an eye. The latter is the bane to slow moving tanks, it will slice through their Defense Points like butter. Pair according to taste.
  • Porthos/Aramis: Accurate to a fault with extreme Mothership and Titan charge, it's no surprise that this is an easy recommend for the Ochokochi with all that heal to quench its thirst for constant heal.
  • F2P Options: Seeing that this robot is in widespread use of Free To Play players these are my top recommendations: Mace/Cudgel and, what do you know, Hazard/Blight. The former builds weapons are still menaces at close range and fit Ochokochi's aggressive playstyle perfectly. The latter is a softer and safer option which allows you to keep some distance while supporting your team but can still brawl decently well if the need arises. An honorary mention is the Havoc/Scatter build which, while able to completely destroy heal orientated enemies, still lacks in reload and clip size making it a more niche option that requires decent timing and battle awareness.
Pro Tip: If you are using an Ochokochi for your starter Robot, simply slap a Tamer on together with whatever build you've chosen, this gives you an immediate advantage against any heal reliant enemy tank you may face.
Modules:
Easily one of the most overlooked parts of robot builds, these should be one of your top priorities.
(Keys: NA = Nuclear Amplifier, RA = Repair Amplifier, IA = Immune Amplifier)
  • 1x NA/2x RA: Easily the best option, I wouldn't seriously recommend any other build to be honest but some others may have some kind of benefit on some builds in certain scenarios... (this is the F2P recommended set-up).
  • 1x NA/1x IA/1x RA: Very hard to utilize, this only has value if your Ochokochi is fully decked out and running the Pascal drone. Even in this case, you may have to play the Ochokochi slightly more on the conservative side, which it does not appreciate.
  • Active Module: The recommended module is Phase Shift as this may be your only protection against Rust and the Ability's cooldown. If you have the Avalon mothership feel free to use heals if you have the charge ready. If you spawn Ochokochi as a starter Robot then stick with Phase Shift.
Drones:
These pesky little buggers carry more weight than many give them credit for.
Shai: The best drone for long term survival. Play your Robot carefully and gain all 5 stacks to transform into an unkillable monster. This robot gives the Ochokochi the survivability it so dearly misses from its prime days. The built-in Last Stand doesn't hurt either last time I checked.
One of the most popular all-around Drones in the game
Pascal: This drone is your best option to allow your Ochokochi to do what it loves most; Charging the enemy head-on. The built in heal and temporary Defense Points allow it to stay alive and charge Amplifiers with ease. The downside is its long term bonuses, in which it lacks severely.
Don't let this Drone's appearance fool you, it's deadly. Really deadly
Hiruko: Yes, the Hiruko. Even after its recent nerf (read this post if you aren't up to date), the Hiruko still works wonders on the Ochokochi. The bonus 240,000 HP after 8 Active Module activations is no joke. This is besides the fact that now only the Ochokochi can be reliably take DoT stacks for bonus damage even after the Hiruko's 3rd ability reaches max stacks (8) due to the Robot's built-in DoT generation from the first phase of its ability.
This abomination will strike fear into the hearts of your enemies
Armadillo: A decent option, sadly not on the level of the previous listed Drones but works fine.
A great drone, sadly outclassed by the more recent releases
F2P Options: Unfortunately, Microchips aren't exactly a Free to Play resource, therefore if you do not have any of the previous leveled your options are severely curbed. Reviver is the only drone I'd use at level 1 as a F2P but the Whiteout is the only other one that is better than nothing.
Pilots and Pilot Skills:
A Robot without a Pilot and Skills is worthless, don't let your Robots decide anything for you.
Pilots:
Vepkho Lovidze: Vepkho's specialty is converting DoT stacks into Defense Points. Be on the lookout for Robots and weapons that deal damage with many small projectiles to soak up for maximum effect (read "Ability" above). The DoT stacks (and therefore the Defense Points as well) that the primary phase of the Ochokochi ability generates last for 5 seconds.
This fearless Tiger-masked warrior fights with honor
Seven: She specializes in converting damage into heal for her Robot. She heals 15% of the Ochokochi's HP after the ability ends as well as 10% of the damage it dealt during its ability.
This poor girl underwent a horrible botched experiment that left her dangerously unstable
Verdict: Although Seven's Durability heal seems enticing, Vepkho Lovidze's Defense Points comes ahead in most cases, although if you have a lower level Ochokochi and no maxed RAs you may want to choose Seven to keep that HP up.
Overall Vepkho Lovidze is the better choice for the high flyers and Seven is the better option for lower level players.
Pilot Skills:
Unfortunately Memorium isn't made to be very Free to Play friendly either, but if you can get your hands on some, these are the skills you should be on the lookout for in descending order of importance:
  • Armor Expert / Ochokochi (Ochokochi has increased durability).
  • Tough Guy / Ochokochi (Ochokochi has increased durability but its weapon damage is lowered by [Placeholder]%).
  • Deft Survivor / Ochokochi (Recharges robot's ability after Ochokochi's durability drops below a certain level. Triggers once per battle. Not affected by leveling up).
  • Cautious Pilot / Ochokochi (Ochokochi has increased durability but its speed is lowered by [Placeholder]%).
  • Dodger / Ochokochi (All active modules recharge faster on Ochokochi).
  • Stubborn Warrior / Ochokochi (As long as Ochokochi has a durability of below 30% it gains additional Defense Points).
Much lower priority for the last one (Choose whatever benefits you most):
  • Module Expert, Road Hog, Mechanic or [Weapon Skill]
Pro Tip: If you are going to level the pilot all the way to the max select the Deft Survivor skill last as you don't need to level the Pilot's rank further it to increase its effectiveness.
Sorry for the long read, hope this was informative. Have a great day!

2024.06.09 13:11 Jaws900 Phase out and Equip

So the title say pretty much what it is. I know that is a Permanent Phases out with Equipment Phases whim them but I've ran into a problem with the card "King of the Oath Breakers". The relevant text states "Whenenever King of the Oathbreakers or another Spirit you control becomes the target of a spell, it phases out."
So if he was on the board and I try to equip a SkullClamp to a 1/1 Spirirt what would happen. Would the Spirit Phase out and the action can not be completed? Would it Equip and then Phase out or would it do something else? And I guess would the same be true for Aura's?

2024.06.09 13:05 greataidan Distinguishing genomics, bioinformatics, compbio

I just finished undergrad with 2 years of wet lab experience and 1 year of dry lab experience. I have experience in Python, R, UNIX, in addition to a lot of bioinformatics packages and NGS. I do not have experience in preparing RNA or ATAC samples for the sequencer, only processing the data with pipeline and then other scripts. I have some machine learning experience.
I’m applying to jobs as RAs in labs doing genomics or titles such as Bioinformatics Assistant if I fit the listing. I intend on doing masters/PhD in the future, but I wanted to get a better idea of what I’m applying to. Genomics jobs often imply a lot more wet-lab than I would like to do, bioinformatics labs sometimes are too exclusively dry-lab such that I don’t have enough experience to apply, and comp bio jobs are out of the question because I don’t have enough coding experience.
What I’m probably missing is the coursework and mentoring that grad school would provide. If anyone’s curious, my main goal in working in bioinformatics is to get involved with some kind of biogenome project and work on assembling genomes. Is that a particular kind of bioinformatics? Could anyone shed light on steps I could take to get involved with that career path? I’ve applied to jobs at labs doing that, hoping I can get in so that I have access to connections within that field. The biggest thing I feel I’m missing as a biologist going in that direction is a probability course.
Sorry if this isn’t straightforward, I can answer any questions and I’ll take any advice

It's a lot of fun to experiment with different types of Japanese noodles. You can always eat as many noodle meals as possible whenever you visit Japan since they are tasty and enticing.
This page will provide important information about some of Japan's most famous noodle dishes. In Japan, macaroni is a staple cuisine.
There are thousands of varieties of noodles that differ from those found in the West, both in terms of pasta composition and dish ingredients. We'll look at various types of Japanese noodles in this article.
Despite mentioning several noodles, Japan is known for manufacturing its pasta in restaurants. Thus the flavor and type vary by location and restaurant, providing unique and inexplicable varieties.
Furthermore, if you love good meals, read on as we talk about some of the different types of Japanese noodles.

1. Ramen

Ramen is a clear noodle soup with various ingredients and flavors. Restaurants typically produce their pasta for the meal, similar to ramen noodles (only in appearance).
There are hundreds of distinct types of ramen, and some chefs spend their entire careers perfecting their original recipe; some ramen, also called lamen, can take up to 12 hours to prepare.
You can find thousands of ramen restaurants throughout Japan. We have diverse preparations such as tsukemen and tantanmen in addition to the traditional shoyu lamen, shio lamen, and misso lamen.
Furthermore, Some chefs take it further and make ramen with black stock, on fire, or packed with meat; the sky's the limit!

2. Soba- Buckwheat Noodles

Under the is a typical Japanese buckwheat noodle that you can eat cold or heated. They are widely available throughout Japan, and they are a popular dish that replaces the traditional rice and meat lunch.
There are various sorts of Soba, ranging from the most consistent industrialized to the most delicate artisanal Soba prepared from pure buckwheat. Also, the pasta frequently blends with the dish's sauce, resulting in a delicious flavor.
Furthermore, Soba's crunchy texture, the noodle, and sauce mingle and meet on the tongue, and its aroma is all features.
Kakesoba, tenpurasoba, zarusoba (cold noodles), sansaisoba, and many more are among the most traditional. This is one of the different types of Japanese noodles.

3. Okinawa Soba

Okinawa Soba, which originated in Okinawa Prefecture, is another type of Soba. On Okinawa, it's simply known as "Soba." The origins of this Soba variant remain a mystery.
However, you most likely made it before 1902. It was initially known as "Chinese Soba" (Shina Soba).
Okinawa Soba uses flat noodles that are nearly as thick as Udon. People make them with flour instead of buckwheat, for example. The accompanying soup is similar to Ramen noodle soup.
Pork, Konbu (seaweed), and Katsuobushi flakes make up the broth for this Soba. Scallion, stewed San-Mai Niku (pork belly), Kamaboko (fish cake), or Soki are popular toppings (boneless pork ribs).

4. Udon- Macaroni Grosso

Udon is a wheat flour-based thick pasta. This noodle is thicker and whiter than risotto, and it comes with dashi, mirin, and shoyu broth. The same meals are usually served with Udon noodles in a Soba restaurant.
Just as there is soba, there are zaru udon, kake udon, kamaage udon, chikara udon, kare udon, kitsune udon, and many others. Udon has a milder flavor influenced by the sauce and the ingredients used to prepare it.
However, Udon noodles are dazzling white, spherical, and thick, whereas soba noodles are brown, silky, and thin. Also, the flavor and density of udon noodles vary depending on where you eat them in Japan.

5. Somen- Cold Noodles

When you look at the name of this noodle, you can probably predict how it's served. It was always a hit with the crowd, whether it was served chilled or frigid. It's a fantastic summer dish.
Some folks, however, serve it heated in the winter to stay warm. "Nyumen" is the heated form of Soba. This is one of the different types of Japanese noodles.
Wheat flour is used to make something. It's light and airy. The strands are first boiled and then cooled in ice. They then dip them in a traditional sauce known as "Tsuyu." Myoga, onion, Katsuobushi, and ginger are all present in this sauce.
Furthermore, Nagashi-Somen is a well-known variation of Somen. It's a summertime delicacy found in select Japanese restaurants. Also, the strands are placed on bamboo fumes, which are very cold water.

6. Harusame- Transparent Noodles

Harussame, often known as glass noodles, is a type of transparent starch and water noodle. They're customarily sold dry and utilized in soups, fried foods, and spring rolls.
Bean sprout starch, potato starch, sweet potato starch, tapioca starch, and canna starch are common ingredients in harusame. In the case of the Japanese variant, potato starch is generally used.
Salads with translucent pasta are popular, as are hot pan dishes with translucent pasta. They're also frequently utilized to prepare Japanese versions of Chinese and Korean cuisines. Shirataki is another similar option.

7. Hiyamugi- Cold Wheat Noodles

Hiyamugi is another cold Japanese noodle. It is similarly made of wheat and has a diameter of 1.3 to 1.7 millimeters, making it thicker than Somen but not as thick as Udon. Hiyamugi is usually a basic white tint. However, it can also come in shades of green or pink.
Hiyamugi, like Somen, is a light and pleasant summer noodle. It's usually served with ice or in a glass bowl of water. "Tsukejiru," the accompanying sauce, is made of Mirin, dashi, and soy sauce.

8. Shirataki- Pasta Without Calories

Due to its low-calorie content, Shirataki, also known as Konnyaku, has acquired favor outside of Japan as a weight-loss food.
Konjac yam makes thin, translucent pasta high in nutritional fiber, low in carbohydrates, and soft in calories. Also, this is one of the different types of Japanese noodles.
Furthermore, Sukiyaki, nikujaga, and other cooked foods frequently include noodles. Pasta can also be drained, dried, and roasted to minimize bitterness and give it a consistency commonly used in soups and sauces.

9. Wafu Pasta

Wafu Pasta is a Japanese pasta that is similar to Italian pasta. Although it's called "pasta," it's essentially a noodle. Between noodles and pasta, there are some distinctions.
Wafu pasta is made from durum wheat or other types of flour and cereals or grains. The flour is mixed with water or an egg and shaped into stands. It all started in a Tokyo restaurant called Kabenoana in 1953.
Wafu pasta is stirred with sweetened rice wine, Dashi broth, soy sauce, butter, and mushrooms such as Shimeiji and Shiitake after it has been cooked. So, if you want to create it at home, feel free to use anything you have on hand.

10. Yasikoba- Fried Noodles

Yakisoba is a beautiful noodle dish that is stir-fried—pork and vegetables such as onions, carrots, cabbage, salt, pepper, and Yakisoba sauce. Beni Shoga, Aonori, mayonnaise, and Katsuobushi can all be used as toppings.
Yakisoba is made by sauteing a form of Chinese noodles known as "Chuukamen," pork, vegetables, and a special sauce. The noodles are made of wheat flour rather than buckwheat, despite the name.
Furthermore, You can find yakisoba throughout Japan at food stalls, fairs, and festivals (matsuri). It's also known as "Yakisoba Pan" and may be found in convenience stores. Also, the vendors frequently serve stir-fried noodles in bread or hot dog buns.

11. Tokoroten- Seaweed Noodles

Tokoroten is an agarophytic algae-based pasta that the Japanese have consumed for over a thousand years. Also, Tokoroten was frequently consumed in the Edo region after being introduced to Japan by China during the Nara period.
Furthermore, Traditionally, the pasta was created by boiling tengusa and served immediately. You can identify the appearance of kanten, jelly, or agar-agar through freezing. Tokoroten noodles were made as a result of their strong resistance.
Moreover, Tokoroten can be served either warm or cold. It's finest served as spaghetti with a blend of vinegar and soy sauce and nori, pepper, and sesame seeds.
Tokoroten is done as a dessert with kuromitsu in the Kansai region. Without a doubt, this is one of the different types of Japanese noodles.

12. Instant Noodles

Instant noodle is a common ingredient in Japanese cuisine. Also, Instant noodles appear to be available in every country.
Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin, was the first to invent this noodle in Japan. They come in a variety of tastes and varieties.
There are two types of instant noodles based on price. Some of them are inexpensive, costing between 100 and 200 Yen. Instant noodles will be more expensive if they have additional toppings. Their costs vary between 200 and 350 Yen.
Furthermore, the flavor of instant noodles is excellent. Everyone loves them since they simply take a few minutes to prepare.
They do, however, contain a significant amount of sodium, fat, and other unhealthy ingredients. Also, this is one of the different types of Japanese noodles that are not highly recommended for consumption.

13. Chanpon- Pasta Cooked in Soup

Chanpon is a noodle dish from Nagasaki. In Japan, Korea, and China, there are several variants. Chinese cuisine was the source of inspiration for this meal. Pork, shellfish, and vegetables are fried in fat and served in a bone broth.
Furthermore, the chanpon is served with noodle soup. Because the pasta is cooked with the soup, only one pan is required, unlike other ramen recipes. The components and the flavor vary depending on the season, place, and situation.

14. Shirataki- Konjac Yam Noodles

It's fantastic to be able to eat noodles without worrying about gaining weight! If you enjoy that type of experience, I recommend Shirataki. "Ito-Konnyaku" is another name for it.
Because the konjac yam is very low in calories and carbs, it also contains a high amount of fiber.
Furthermore, Shirataki is available in both dry and moist forms. In a liquid, wet Shirataki simmer. If you acquire this variant, deodorize the noodle by washing them before cooking. You can keep it for up to a year.
Sukiyaki (hot pot), Nikujyaga (meat and potato stew), and other dishes are made using this noodle in Japan. After draining and drying the noodle, they also roast them. Noodles lose their bitterness when they are roasted. They then serve it with sauce or soup.

15. Sanuki Udon

Sanuki Udon is a Kagawa Prefecture Udon variation. It was given that name because Kagawa's previous name was "Sanuki."
Sanuki Udon is distinguished by its noodle strands. They're square and have a chewy texture. Dried infant sardines make up the broth.
In addition, this is one of the different types of Japanese noodles that we use two methods to serve. Also, they can directly pour the broth into the boiling strands and eat it like regular noodle soup. Alternatively, they can dip the strands in a broth-based dipping sauce.

16. Toshikoshi Soba- New year's Eve Noodles

Every Japanese person eats Toshikoshi Soba on New Year's Eve. It is a symbol of endurance and strength. This is a classic Soba noodle. It is made with the essential ingredients of Soba noodles.
Eating soba on New Year's Eve dates back to the Edo Period. People eat it to wish for a happy, tranquil existence.
Because the noodles are easy to break apart, they give people the impression that they have overcome adversity during the year.
Also, Dashi broth is used in the soup. Only chopped scallions are used as a garnish. You can also add raw eggs, Tempura, and Kamaboko fish cakes to make them tastier.

2024.06.09 13:01 therouxrachelle SSRI's and PCOS...

Wanted to reach out because my GP is acting like I am some medical anomaly.
I have PCOS, was diagnosed in my late teens and I'm now approaching my late thirties.
I have had very regular periods for the last 7 years. I get the odd one or two a year that is a longer cycle but for the most part they come between 28 and 31 days every single month.
I started taking SSRI's (specifically Citalopram) about 4 months ago. Ever since I started taking it, my periods have gone haywire. I'm ovulating really late, if at all. My skin has become more acne prone (another thing I've had under control for a good few years). My hirsutism has gotten worse on my face and the hair on my head is shedding even more than it normally does. I've also gained around 1 stone and my appetite is through the roof.
I'm slowly starting to phase back off them and I'm scared that my PCOS symptoms won't die down again. It's been so triggering as I didn't have loads of hair to lose to begin with and my facial hair was already a constant battle.
I've been to my GP and he seems to think it is a total coincidence that this coincides with starting Citalopram but just said 'come off it then'.
Anyone had any experience with this?

2024.06.09 12:57 Leosaurous_Rex Is it worth it to get back in Government Service?

Im currently working for a MNC as a consultant/process owner for another MNC Tech Corporation. (I was a Government employee before). My benefits that I enjoy are below:
-Free Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Merienda, & Dinner) -Hybrid Set up (We are only required to RTO 2-3 a week) -Annual Increase, Performance Bonus, and other basic government mandated benefits -Wifi, Company Facilities like Karaoke, Billiards, PS5 -Flexible schedule -Midshift -The only busy period for me is 2x a week per month. (Monitoring and minsan may days na wala na akong ginagawa/30 mins lang ok na) -Workplace is 1 ride away only -HMO
I am currently applying in a Government office that’s a bit higher gross salary to what m getting now. Full time onsite sila and walang HMO. Also, dayshift so mabubugbog ulet ako sa commute.

Compact kitchen design, cant figure distribution from infinite freezer, thoughts?
Hello everyone who sees this post. I am in the midst of moving my main base on a luxury colony. Trying to currently figure out a design for a compact and simple kitchen with infinite freezer, however cant figure the distribution of resources from the freezer storage itself. I want to have both a juicer and an expresso machine, which in total require 4 different resources (mushroom, pincha peppernut, meal lice and bristle berry).
The design I have come up with the current screenshot, fridge 1 is for the main food that dupes will eat, set to 1 or 2 kg of food, fridge 2, 3 and 4 will supply the required things for the expresso machine and juicer however cant figure out how or where to place another one to get the supply of the final ingredient.
Where you can see the chute is the freezer itself, below that is a second freezer with a sweeper to supply all 3 ingredients to fridges, I am sacking 1 of the ingredients (with fridge 2 as it will not be deep frozen) but it should not matter anyway. The below freezer is divided by the min amount of liquid at the ladder making a liquid lock and the liquid below is cooled the same as the main freezer to keep the stuff there deep frozen
Any ideas or alternatives how I can automate the supply to the juicer and expresso machine instead of the current build or how I can add or redesign the current one to fit another ingredient? I tried searching for this but couldnt find much info, I wanted to supply the expresso machine and juicer automated but there is no way to send a signal only when the machines require supply so I decided to leave the dupes do it since they are close to the current kitchen but still require 1 more ingredient. Was thinking with smart storage, but entire system becomes extremely complicated since it requires 4 separate resources
In the actual base I have more space below the second freezer and behind it, but not to the right, or above, I can squeeze more space behind the kitchen itself
this can be cooled with aquatuner or thermo regulator, the sweeper needs to reach the bottom of the fridge to supply it

2024.06.09 12:53 MediocreDirection29 AITAH for snapping at my GF about chores

Me (23 M) and my gf (25 F) have been dating for around 1.5 years at this point. Near the beginning of our relationship I moved in with her but also lost my job at the time. I was unemployed for around 3 months and then the only job I got was minimum wage at a restaurant. During that time period I was home a lot bc I wasn’t working, so I picked up the slack and cleaned the house almost every day (laundry, dishes, cat messes, etc). She would cook meals we had at home because she is very particular about how/what she eats… and doesn’t like how I cook food (totally valid neurodivergence moment).
Fast forward to now, I have a full-time graveyard job with more hours than her and making more $. I work 3-4 straight 12+ hour nights and am fortunate to usually have 4 days off, two of which we share days off. We both are fairly laid back people so chores usually pile up to where they NEED to get done and I’ve been trying to be proactive when I can, she does not even when she says “the dishes need to get done, I’ll do them” and then doesn’t do them.
Recently she’s been very rude when it comes to chores and has stated “things only get done around here when I’m here” which is a complete and utter lie. She hasn’t done a full load of laundry (from starting it to folding and putting away) in around a year and I am constantly doing a giant pile of dishes when I wake up on my days off after working because I want to make it easier for her.
I recently snapped back and said “what you’re saying in completely untrue and it’s hurtful to me and the work I put in for you to say you do all of the work.” She laughed in my face and said “whatever you want to tell yourself buddy” and never actually has a conversation about it. AITAH

2024.06.09 12:53 Southern-Survey-2767 How do I let go of him?

Long story: I met this guy in Jan 2023, had the most epic first date even though he initially flaked on the date and then changed his mind. The date was 12 hours long, beautiful and loving. Conversations with him were always effortless. He is perfect on paper for me, our values match, lifestyles and interests are very similar and I have had some of my best dates with this man. However we were in such a toxic on and off loop because he was terrified of commitment. In the beginning we would fight within a week, not talk for 1-2 weeks and repeat the cycle until he found out that I slept with my ex during the off phase and called it cheating. After that I set strong boundaries of not getting romantically involved with this man. I maintained that you want loyalty and in my dictionary that comes with commitment.
He would reappear or we would talk every month until one of us got angry and stormed off. This would happen every month until Jan 2024 when I started to travel and cut contact. He reappeared in May and all the things that were an issue, is not an issue anymore. There is consistent communication, there is us vs the problem mindset and fun consistent communication. However I recently found out he still doesn’t want commitment and it broke my heart, once again and more painfully than ever before. And I cannot help but think how perfect this could have been.
I realize that there are a ton of red flags with him, sex life was meh (and that is important to me) and sometimes, his emotional intelligence and availability was really low. But he is also a man with the means, he is lots of fun and our religious and cultural values align. It is so hard to find the later in a foreign country. And I cannot seem to let that go. I need perspective, I need to feel more confident in myself and realize that I can make it on my own, I don’t need a man. Help please.
TLDR: met a guy who is perfect for me on paper but cannot commit, has some red flags. I cannot seem to let go of the potential we have and need some perspective, ideas, stories to let go.

2024.06.09 12:52 AnubhavJr10 Help/Advice needed for CMA intermediate admission and in general

So I just passed b.com(p) but my result is still awaited (I am pretty confident than I will be passing it). There are few questions in my mind regarding the admission and I am kinda scared with this next phase of my after college life.
1) Registeration: My first doubt is what am I supposed to select when applying for the intermediate course, is it 2nd year passed or graduate? since I have not got my result marksheet of my final year (I am not sure when I am supposed to get one and I was in DU) so I can only submit my 2nd year marksheet or of 5th sem marksheet. and if it's second year how can I update the same for when I receive my graduation degree or marksheet?
2)Classes/tution: I think I am struggling with theory and cannot keep my mind in learning just books after books but I am fairly confident in practical subjects and I want to believe that if I get good teachers, I will be able to pass it. So I need suggestions and advice on group 1 teachers/classes in which I am fine on online classes as long as they are good but offline I have to see my traveling distance(Delhi). my subjects from what I can search are direct and indirect tax, cost accounting, financial accounting, Business laws and ethics.
3) study time: Since I am planning to appear in dec2024 I have 5 months excluding this month and I was wondering how much time of daily study is bare minimum, I have always heard the "I study 9 hours a day" and I am a bit scared of that. Consistently I can pull 4 hours a day easily and can only up on that. I was wondering what is an estimate study time which is minimum for a day to give to have an rough estimate and a goal in my mind.
4) oral vs postal: I was planning to take the chapters classes so as to have direct teachers contact to help me with any general issue with the course as well as subject and I can have tuitions side by side. Plus I can get a network since non of my irl knowns are persuing CMA so it's pretty alien to me (apart from what I can fine on YouTube). So are oral classes any worth it?
I think that's about it. Idk how I sounded in the post but even though I am scared, I am ready to work hard. My biggest concern are the classes and subject guidance from teachers
(Another short doubt was about the chapyers in oral classes in Delhi, I cannot seem to find them)
Thanks a lot for your time and any help is appreciated. :)

2024.06.09 12:39 KokoHekumatiaru Beginners guide to Soulmask, with no BS.

Hello there. If you are like me, you might also be a bit allergic to all the guides out there, that start with "please hit like and subscribe", followed by 10 minutes of chatter around what you need help with, for something that could`ve taken 30 seconds to explain.
With that out of the way, welcome to my No-BullS#$t guide to Soulmask, outlining everything I`ve learned in 80 hours playing on a server rented from G-Portal.
I am going to assume that everyone is somewhat accustomed to the bare basics of the game and how it plays so I will stick to only highlighting things that I learned myself.

1 There are 5 Tribes: Claw, Flint, Fang, Outcasts and Plunderers.

-Everyone can be deterred except Plunderers and Elites (The ones with a unique name and a silver border around their health bar).
-The Claw tribe has the best overall fighters for every weapon school
-The Fang tribe specializes in Remedies, healing and Poisons (Alchemy) so they make for great Alchemists overall, but do very well in relation to ranged combat so make for decent companions, if you prefer having a ranged helper along, they are good for this.
-The Flint tribe are supposedly the clever ones who are all about evolving and furthering their tribe's development so naturally, they make for great crafters.
-The outcasts don`t belong to any tribes and their stats as such are completely random. You can find great ones of course but expect a lower chance of finding what you need, compared to if you were chasing the more specialized tribes.

2 Proficiencies of barbarians go from 1-125+ in each respective school and what they have is based on a lot of factors as well as the low chance of them being a uniquely titled barbarian that can give them various perks outside of the proficiencies themselves.

-The level of the deterred barbarian ONLY affects what the overall proficiencies' start at when you deter them. with the higher the level the better the proficiency.
-Source: Personal experience after deterring roughly 800 Barbarians and while I know the pool isn`t very big, but it is high enough for me to be positive that the level of a deterred barb does not affect their max proficiency level, only what it starts at.
-Labourers are great at the collection of materials: Logging, Mining, Harvesting
-Craftsmen: Any crafting, completely random which ones they are given. Also supposed to unlock various tribes medium/advanced clothing and costumes if they are found in a fortress(Only 3 fortresses at the minute.) Potentially bugged right now though as I`ve deterred 50+ Craftsmen of varying levels from Novice to Master Craftsmen in a Flint fortress with 0 unlocks as of yet).
-Porters: Good at working the Kiln and or Furnace but they are also Great at transporting large quantities of items over longer distances as their weight limits are different and they have positive traits that affect how having more weight makes them move faster etc. (Unlocks the first tribe clothing too. Level 20-25 area barracks)
That`s it for now, if there`s anything else you want to know, just ask in the comments and I will add it to the guide too. But these are some of the things I see being asked the most, so instead of commenting in each post and repeating myself, I will update this one with new info.

3 Mysterious Tisane, dropped by bosses will reset the attributes of your main aka the Vagrant Novice character, but the Mysterious body shaping pill will reset the attributes of any of your deterred tribesmen.

4 The Basic Portal that you can craft yourself will not let you teleport to unlocked teleporters, only to other basic teleporters. (Please for the love of god change this.)

5 Cooking is one of the most important proficiencies in the world of Soulmask.

-I would highly recommend you get someone who`s good at it and put points towards output when selecting bonuses as they improve.
-You can have 4 different food buffs active at any one time, including one medical remedy. Staple, Recreational/Beverage, Vegetable/Fruit and finally Meat based meal.

6 Armor & Weapon crafting

-For traits, select Durability for 30-60 respectively and then Quality once you hit Iron as this is the point where levelling starts to slow down and moreover, you will unlock the Sabre tooth Armor at Awareness 40 once you kill the Berserk Sabre-toothed Predator which is a recommendation to everyone and when crafting the gear it will inherit the stats of the Iron armor that goes into it. Hence you want to make sure it`s as good as possible as this will be the best Armor you will have access to for quite a while.

7 Modifications make a huge difference

-All these mods you keep looting in chests from barracks and dungeons are not useless, even if the numbers may seem small they make a massive difference so use them.
-Having multiple Armor sets with different mods on them will be a benefit, even though it is grindy. Having one with Heat, Cold, Poison and Radiation protection will be the difference between surviving or dyeing.
-Repairing a Weapon or Armor WILL remove the MOD that is on them, so keep this in mind. Repair first, then put on the mod of choice.

8 The hunting Gallery is VERY useful.

-It will show a lot of useful info about the local wildlife and enemies you encounter so I recommend having a look if you are struggling with a specific enemy, perhaps you`re just using the wrong weapon to fight it?.

2024.06.09 12:31 ScotBuster Genestealer Cults will be an even stronger alpha strike with the new codex, please check my math.

Seen a lot of doomsaying so I've been running some math. Hope some-one can check my math and prove me wrong because we are going to be nerfed to fuck if this is all right.
ASSUMING BENEDICTUS CAN LEAD NEOPHYTES AND PRIMED AND READIED IS A BATTLE TACTIC.
Core of army - 4 20 man Neophyte squads 2 flamers, 2 grenade launchers (use krak) 2 Sesimic Cannons, 2 mining lasers, or 3 20 mans and 1 10 man acolytes with demo charges..
3 Neophytes get a Benedictus, and 2 get a nexos. 1 Neophyte/acolyte gets a primus with chink in the armour and a nexos.
Use nexos to chain Primed and Readied, which by my understanding is a battle tactic. If it is, it won't be for long...
Deep strike all 4 units turn 2. They get - Sustained hits 1, Lethal hits, Crits on 5+. One unit gets full re-rolls to hit with the Primus, acolytes also get re-roll 1s to wound, or full re-rolls on the objective.. Combine with some Achillis with survey augurs for -1ap and ignore cover. Neophytes don't need to drop within 3 inches. Watch as C'tan, Land raiders, Stompas etc all die horribly with no counterplay other than trying to screen out our deep strikes (good luck).
On unitcrunch i'm getting over 50% chance to kill Land raiders with the neophytes both version, and the acolytes, sometimes getting as high as 90% on the land raiders, and even a 67.2% chance against a C'tan (Not deciever).
This combo will work pretty well into anything at all from what I can gather, with only really a 10 man terminator block being likely to survive vs 1.
ASSUMING BENEDICTUS CAN'T LEAD NEOPHYTES AND PRIMED AND READIED ISN'T A BATTLE TACTIC.
Well, put your primus on the neophytes, he can still drop turn 2, with the nexos to do this for 0 cp, and delete pretty much whatever he wants. Now you'll need 3 Acolyte 10 mans with demo charges and benedictus instead, but you'll still delete most tanks fairly well. The Neophyte/primus combo can be used, but without lethals they won't be slaying tanks left and right. 2 cp +1 to wound is still feasiable with nexos however...
you won't be able to alpha strike turn 2, but you can stagger it over 2 3 and 4, to great affect.
What do people think? Personally I think crits on 5+ with lethals and sustain hits is pretty crazy. I'm sure you could make this work for melee as well, just sub a biophagus in, since achillis now carries over to the fight phase.
EDIT: Corrections, i'm being told by vulcanstrike that nexos no longer allows us to double up stratgems. That makes this a lot more balanced, as we can only get our crit's on 5+ once per turn. It's still very exciting, but much more reasonable for now. Just means you only want 3 units of Neophytes/acolytes and stagger them over 3 turns.
To note - this can work with Melee as well - Rapid ingress, Biophagus is your friend.
Running the math on the unit of neophytes without 5+ crits and a Benedictus still allows 11 expected wounds on a Land Raider, and a 23.8% chance of slaying with an achillis. You can run 3 blocks of neophytes with this combo. On following turns, without sustained hits you're still looking at 9 expected wounds and a 14.3% chance of killing a land raider. Still pretty strong I think!

2024.06.09 12:30 Ferronier Zamorakian Pre-P7

I’ve climbed to 90 enrage Zammy and I’m preparing for my first dives into P7. However, I’m hitting a bit of a wall (using Necro, because I can’t afford the gear quite yet for the other styles to perform at a comparative level). I was hoping I could get feedback on some of the following:
  1. I find myself clearing 80-90% enrage kills with almost no supplies left at times, which probably isn’t ideal for when I begin P7. What do you do to clear P1-6 with minimal supply loss? Does everyone just gray health him and phase channelers? If so, how do you phase to channelers?
  2. I think I understand most Zam counterplay, like melee/devo and stand close for “This world will burn”, or trying to stun Zam when he yeets you to infernus. But I’d still love to hear everyone’s counterplay to his various specs.
  3. I’ve been running T90 tank over T90 power because I feel like the added HP is an absolute necessity at this point, I’ll hit the execute threshold otherwise toward P5-6. I understand I’m losing some DPS in favor of survivability, but I’ve been doing runes 2-1-4-6-5-3 to normalize that sequence for myself for P7. What could I be doing better?
The long and short of it is I’m not just asking “how can I be better?” - I’m asking what you personally do to make P1-6 as painless as possible.
Thanks guys!
