Compare and contrast two nursing pioneers and/or nursing theorists. Describe how their contributions could define your philosophy of nursing. Add a definition of nursing, ANA, Florence Nightingale, and Virginia Henderson are great examples of a professional nursing definitions. How do their definitions of nursing compare/contrast with your definition of nursing? How have the historic aspects of nursing affected nursing as we know it today? If at all?
- Nursing the responsible duty which encompasses the utmost protection, promotion and optimization of collaborative individual health care which should prevent illness, reinfection, injury, alleviation of suffering through perfect diagnosis and treating patient in an environment that are supportive to the healing process.
- It endorses the ethical values of which can withstand for serve, love, passion of profession to make an ill person more confident to live strong with strong determination. Once the profession is chosen he/she able to inculcate strong belief towards the treatment, desire on valuable life with utmost care of healing process.
- The four metaparadigms of nursing are person, health, nursing, environment.
- Many philosophers defined the nursing but the theme of these are one which explains about the responsibilities and ethical values towards the profession. They define as follows

- Peplau interpersonal --- First theoretical development of nursing, role of nurse and client relationship during health care
- Henderson ---- All about health issues care of patient
- Martha E rogers ---- humans are dynamic energy fields in continuous environment conditions
- Dorothea E orems ---- self care, self care deficit, nursing system
- Innogene king ---- importance of interaction, perception, communication, transaction ,self role,stress,growth and development.
- Betty neuman --- phsiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, spiritual
- Sister Callista roy ,jean watson, Rosemark rizzo parse etc.
