2015.12.04 21:09 MoogleBoy Strange Fluid Discharge From Right Nostril

Roughly three months ago, I came down with what felt like a sinus infection. Fever, chills, and a strange yellow-green mucus running out of my nose. Saw a GP who prescribed me an Amox-compound which helped with the fever and chill, but the nose was still running. Incidentally, I found out that I have a mild allergy to Amoxicillin and developed a non-painful rash.
After completing the Amoxicillin course (allergy symptoms did not appear until towards the end of the course) I still had a runny nose with this strange discharge. It's watery and tacky, almost like an adhesive, less like normal mucus. Roughly one week after I completed my Amox course, I returned to the GP still complaining of a runny nose, and re-emerging fever like symptoms. I was prescribed a second course of antibiotic, this time Clarithromycin. I completed the course to no effect whatsoever on the nasal discharge.
Another two weeks after completing the Clarithromycin course, I went to an ENT who numbed me, scoped me and said "Yeah, looks gross. Take an antibiotic and come back in three weeks." and prescribed me a higher dosage Clindamycin.
It's now been a month and a half since completing the Clindamycin and I still have this persistent nasal drainage. I even had a tooth extracted thinking it might have been feeding some sort of infection into my sinus cavities. For three days after the extraction, the nasal drainage had stopped, but has started back up again. It did lead me to thinking that there is some connection to the drainage and types of anesthetic, however, since when I was scoped I was administered Lidocaine, and when I had the extraction I was given Novocaine, and both times the nose stopped running, and the mucus returned to a normal color and consistency.
Aside from the drainage, I am not experiencing any sort of chills, fevers, nausea, dizziness, or am I light headed. The fluid is a light yellow-green color, foul smelling (sulfuric/eggy), thin almost water-like consistency, and incredibly tacky. Whatever it is has stayed localized to just the right nostril, and has not migrated to my left nostril, and does not appear to be contagious, as my boyfriend has not caught it. Any thoughts?
