2024.05.03 02:42 36_39_42 Research and newspaper articles associated with the 1933 magenta crash posted on the internet archive by Alfredo Lissoni

Hello all; I see alot of argument and misinformation being traded back and forth in the comments lately, and I've been doing my best to get ahold of an expert so I'm not so lost with these documents but that has stalled.
I elected to instead Google translate a few of the associated research and news articles posted on the internet archive by Alfredo Lissoni to demonstrate some basic facts that are claimed to be associated with the case.
The whole case DOES NOT rely solely on the documents sent in the 90s. Ive seen this so many times its gonna make my head explode. If you parrot this falsehood; you are not being intellectually rigerous and reading everything you need to read.
Find Roberto Pinnoti and friends full claims about the 1933 case here.
https://forum-termometropolitico-it.translate.goog/259673-x-files-fascisti.html?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp
No where else that I can find ties everything together like this link. If your serious about connecting claims to documents you must read the whole thing.
I'm rather certain that every newspaper I'm looking for in relation to the link above is on the archive but I'm having alot of trouble connecting a claim with a document in most cases because well, I don't speak/read Italian yet( am learning slowly)
Here's a few documents from the archive that were plainly important. I very carefully went over the Italian and English text as many times as my brain will allow so you'll have to forgive a few spelling discrepancies. In most cases I was typing the words from the newspaper word for word because of the image quality. This is not an easy task. It's no wonder that no one has done all this for free yet; because it's alot. I only did .01 percent of the work here and It's full of leads to study the actual historical side of this case.
This is not my final conclusions on the case; in fact I've gone to the beginning like this because I've already moved on a long way and connected alot of puzzle pieces in the timeframe after RS33.
This element of the case is trivial compared to the intreague and power dynamics between the germans, italian fascists, the vatican and the Americans.
A name you should look out for in the link above is Galeazzo Ciano.
My work is more focused broadly on this person because his diaries would later be coveted by Allen Dulles.
Allen Dulles personally visited Italy multiple times for these diaries and I am going to prove this action was not only because of their political importance but also because of their connection to the activities of the RS33 research. This work here ultimately has nothing to do with that element of my research; this should simply posit that the case from a historical standpoint has a real event associated with it.
Now I will say that the rest of the work must be done to independently verify the claims in the link above; but what I've seen is enough for me personally to go forward on.
I'm not claiming to have proven anything here on this post. Let's get that extremely clear because im not going to argue about it.
It's simply information.
Translated document 1

1.)Since its inception, Guglielmo Marconi was designated head of the RS/33 Cabinet, although the well-known scientist had repeatedly expressed the opinion that the astronomer Gino Cecchini should be designated in his place. Mussolini - on the advice of Giovanni Gentile - appointed Marconi, a senator with proven fascist faith, who made him a prestigious and also politically reliable element.
Marconi, however, never participated in any of the sessions of the RS/33 Cabinet which were held during his lifetime, but constantly delegated one of his collaborators who was indicated as Doctor Ruggero Costanti Cavazzani, and who was evidently a cover name for a person who was never identified.
Other members of the RS/33 Cabinet (RS stood for Special Research) were, over time and for different periods, the professors: Dallauri, Pirotta, Crocco, Debbasi, Severi, Bottazzi and Giordani; as well as Count Cozza as organizational contact and logistical link with the highest hierarchies of the regime: Mussolini, Italo Balbo, Galeazzo Ciano.
The Cabinet met a few times to discuss phenomena now called ufological and which at the time were connected to military aeronautics activities. The most widespread opinion among experts was that the unknown aircraft were prototypes of English and/or French aircraft. Only on a couple of occasions was the question openly raised whether such objects were interspace flight instruments, and the question remained essentially open. The most substantial product of the Cabinet RS/33 was a dossier of about thirty pages which examined in detail all the Italian cases from 1933 to 1940. With the outbreak of the war (10 June 1940) the Cabinet RS/33 was even more militarised, and - what is very significant - the Nazi government asked the Italian body for news, data and dossiers several times.
Cabinet RS/33 also collected some photographs of unidentified flying objects and also a short film made in the Alps on the occasion of a notable sighting. This information is obtained indirectly from other sources, since the Cabinet archive was transferred to Germany and is currently untraceable.

XIV GAETANO ArtURO Crocco - Commemoration of B. Finzi. The inaugural speech of the second course was entitled: "From anti-aircraft to the orbital base". In it he presented the idea of the multi-stage to increase the range, he outlined the problem of re-entry for manned satellites and that of refueling in space.
Among the other publications I remember the one on «Physiological tolerance in jet missiles», the Nota lincea entitled «The temperature barrier in geodetic missiles», the one on «Questions on geodetic missiles» of the Mathematical and Physical Seminar of Milan. I also remember the beautiful summaries «The foundations of astronautics», «From the airship to the missile», «Previews of interplanetary nautical», «The first step towards astronautics» and many others, among which the Notes are worthy of particular note lincee « Formulations of Astronautical Mechanics » of 1955, that of the Pontifical Academy « Possibilities and limits of cosmonautics » of 1957. His inaugural speech at the VII International Astronautical Congress in Rome in 1956 was memorable, in which, starting from the artificial satellite , ventures into sidereal exploration, making use of the theory of relativity. His proposal for a "one-year exploratory tour of Earth-Mars-Venus-Earth" is also memorable, still known today as the "Crocco mission". The most favorable time for the mission will be June 1971,
In the Note of the Papal Academy of 1957 Crocco prophesies as follows: «The endogenous power supply of the propulsive jet is reserved for the final stage of travel, and the exogenous power supply is used to start from the earth, brake and return there. The intermediate stages will be traveled at uniform speed without consumption and the total distances that can be crossed will allow the choice of reconnaissance within a sphere containing 20,000 stars. The furthest will require 28 years of crew life to get there and back. Utopia! »... But, Crocco continues, «it has been said that our entire civilization blossomed from utopia».
After the flight of the first Sputnik, which realized what he had prophesied, he concluded, beyond the age of eighty, his miraculous activity as a scientist and prophet with a masterly speech at the VII International Communications Conference, held in Genoa in 1959, « The determinants of the astronautical era", with the one held in the solemn meeting of 1960 at the Lincei "Anticipations extra-terrestrials" and with his contribution to the work "The world of technology" of 1962 "The astro-cosmonautic moment". This is a small treatise on space activity from its origins to Gagarin's flight, in which he also delves into the theory of relativity and photonic propulsion.
Finally, I recall the titles of some studies and meditations on problems that go beyond aeronautics: "Scientific property", "The degradation of wealth", "The devil and atomic research" (history of the atomic bomb), "Discourse on the gradient" (concerning the exasperated acceleration of scientific progress), « Scientific premises for space law

Supponiamola di cinque, cioè “cinque volte quella che si risente in volo rettilineo o sulla superficie della terra, presa come unità. Trattasi di un elevato. ‘valore; di acrobazia pesante. In tale sopportazione. il peso del corpo del pilota diverrà mediamente di 360 chili, di cui 300 graveranno sul seggiolino e gli altri sui ‘comandi.’ Le sue braccia, distese sul volante o sulla leva di guida aggraveranno di una ventina di chili ciascuna e le gambe allungate verso la pedaliera dovranno complessivamente sostenere il sovraccarico di un centinaio di chili. Il cervello premerà per quasi sette chili sulla base del cranio; gli occhi affonderanno nell'orbita, generando il fenomeno del veder nero e le palpebre si appesantiranno come per sonno improvviso; i visceri s'insaccheranno nell'addome; la respirazione si farà difficile;

The brain will press almost seven kilos on the base of the skull; the eyes will sink into the socket, generating the phenomenon of seeing black and the eyelids will become heavy as if due to sudden sleep; the viscera will become encased in the abdomen; breathing will become difficult;

From 1951 onwards, Crocco's scientific activity, now old, was aimed at outer space flight and astronautics. Already in 1923, to tell the truth, he had been ahead of his time with the Nota lincea «On the possibility of extra-atmospheric navigation», in which he proposed making use of the reaction caused by the outflow of the products of the disintegration of radioactive material. It was, essentially, ion propulsion, which has not yet been practically achieved today. In 1927 he had begun experimental research on solid propellants for rockets, in collaboration with his son Luigi, and had then resumed such research between 1932 and 1935. I would also like to point out the Note line of 1946 « On the application of atomic energy to interplanetary navigation ». In the inaugural speech of the first rocketry and astronautics course, held in Rome in 1951, he spoke about geodetic missiles, dealing with propellants and the calculation of trajectories

2024.05.03 02:39 Equivalent-Cherry-70 FJO from VHA

Here’s my timeline for GS-13 job.
Applied 8/9/23 Interviewed 8/28/23 TJO 8/31/23 TJO accepted 9/4/23 Referred 9/22/23 Credentialing completed 11/3/23 Tentative start date 12/4/23 EOD 06/03/2024
Sad thing is… I was told in March that if I didn’t get a FJO by April, I probably wouldn’t get one until the fall. So I got tired of waiting and applied to two DHA jobs. I interviewed and was offered a TJO for both. I declined one and moved forward with the other. Pay with DHA is a little less but the job itself sounds like more of what I actually want to do. Plus, it’s also closer to home. I’m feeling pretty upset about VHA’s lack of communication and the 6 months of being unemployed waiting for an FJO. So at this point, I’m not really sure what I’ll do.

2024.05.03 02:37 cheesenotyours Friend wants to Naturalize during Military Service

A bit of a long background+relevant links to us law below
Hi, this is about a German LPR friend (24years old) in New York, US.
He has been interested in joining the military, and has been considering enlisting, and naturalizing under INA329 through eligibility as an active duty service member during a designated period of hostilities, Sep 11 to present. However he is concerned that his past travel history may jeopardize his application for naturalization, and even his LPR status.
He has been an LPR since 2009 as a dependent, when his father became an LPR (from being an expat through the lottery). However from mid-2012 to mid-2018, he moved to Germany because of his father's work. He came back to the US several times, but lived and went to school in Germany for a long time. This obviously risked his LPR status, but he was never stopped by Customs/Border Control or anything like that.
Eventually he was able to apply and get accepted to college in the US, and has been here since 2018, going to college, working part time, paying taxes. His parents have remained in Germany however. During the sudden covid lockdowns, he stayed in Germany for a little less than an year too.
If he wanted to apply for naturalization regularly, we think he may be denied because he was not "lawfully admitted as an LPR" even though the Customs person at the border may have let him through. Looking at the law, and some past precedents (although we're not lawyers), it seems the scrutiny applied to the travel and residence history is strict in the naturalization process. So, he risks not only being denied, but also having his LPR revoked.
But if he wanted to naturalize through military service, looking at the uscis policy manual, and INA 329, it seems his travel/residence history won't be an issue.
In part E, the manual explains,
"In general, an applicant who files on the basis of military service during hostilities[20] is not required to be an LPR if he or she was physically present at the time of induction, enlistment, reenlistment, or extension of service in the U.S. armed forces: In the United States, the Canal Zone, American Samoa, or Swains Island; or On board a public vessel owned or operated by the United States for noncommercial service."
In INA329(b) or USCsection1440, under title 8 chapter 12, subchapter III, part II, it says
"A person filing an application under subsection (a) of this section shall comply in all other respects with the requirements of this subchapter, except that- (1) he may be naturalized regardless of age, and notwithstanding the provisions of section 1429 of this title as they relate to deportability and the provisions of section 1442 of this title; " Section 1429 says "Except as otherwise provided in this subchapter, no person shall be naturalized unless he has been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence in accordance with all applicable provisions of this chapter"
So if we're understanding this correctly, naturalization through military service eligibility is not withstanding whether he has been lawfully admitted or not, so his travel/residence record is not an issue?

2024.05.03 02:36 ApprehensiveOne8080 AITAH for backhanding my brother?

So my 12M brother loves to steal my food.
So my 12 year old brother going on 13 in 2 months constantly steals my food and recently i warned him that if he does that again I'll backhand him upside his head.
It worked for about 2 weeks until now for context every 3 weeks we get an entire bag full of ramen of many varieties based on our taste.
Mine is a mix of seafood and extra spice so it's on the hot side like your entire body goes numb and feels like your on fire.
Anyhow my brother gets basic one's because he can't handle spice that well.
So i save my stuff just in case something happens like when I can't go out or don't feel like going out.
Moving on today i got home at 4:40 ish and i wanted to eat my food because I skipped lunch and breakfast all I had today was coffee and some water. I walk in and i see my brother microwaving my food so true to my word i backhanded him in the head.
And he got mad and said i should've done that and how he gonna tell our mother how ever my mother said i did nothing wrong and it was about time.
I wasn't the only one he stole from, he stole food from my older brother and he beat the brakes off him.
So Aitah for backhanding my brother because he stole my food ?
Side note- each bag holds about 10 packs of said food in the bag so we all have 10 item's each , he's stolen 5 packs from me ( I'm slow to anger especially over food). Previously and 2 from my older brother, and My mother doesn't want my older brother to lay hands on him because he's smaller than him.

PRCA Tie-Down Roping Standings Update, May 2: Shad Mayfield On Top After Record-Setting Pace to Start Season

Every cowboy in the Top 5 has multiple NFR qualifications

May 02, 2024 02:09 PM
by Brett Nierengarten
Each of the last two years, a tie-down roper has broken the PRCA regular season earnings record. In 2023, Riley Webb made $281,405 and had $111,847 at this time.
Meanwhile in 2024, Shad Mayfield, who had the record before Webb broke it, is on an even better pace with more than $120,000.
The 2020 World Champion not only has his old record in his sights, but he is also looking to become the first tie-down roper ever to finish three straight regular seasons with more than $200,000.
Behind Mayfield, the reigning World Champion Webb is also in the Top 5 among a trio of cowboys who have been to at least three NFRs since 2020 - Ty Harris, John Douch and Marty Yates.

1. Shad Mayfield, $121,887

Mayfield won the first two Texas Swing Rodeos of 2024, Fort Worth and San Antonio, after finishing the 2023 season No. 3 in the PRCA World Standings. The 2020 World Champion has already made 12 runs in the 7s this season.

2. Ty Harris, $86,983

Harris’ won the biggest rodeo of the season by outdueling his brother Joel in Houston to win $50,000 on March 17. Since then, he has finished second in the Average at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo (Nevada) and third in the San Angelo Cinch-Chute Out.

3. Riley Webb, $78,670

Webb kicked off the 2024 season in November of 2023 by winning the Average at the Cook Rodeo Days (Texas). In the last few weeks, the reigning World Champion has surged once again by winning the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo (California) and Red Bluff Round-Up (California) as well as finishing fourth in San Angelo.

4. John Douch, $60,970

Douch won the Texas Circuit Finals on Oct. 13 to start the season the 2024 season and since then his home state has been good to him. The $18,750 Douch won in San Antonio makes up almost a third of his money but it was hard earned with four times of 8.1 seconds or faster. He also won the San Angelo Cinch Chute-Out on April 20 with runs of 7.4 and 7.3 seconds.

5. Marty Yates, $59,358

Yates landed No. 7 in the PRCA World Standings at the end of the March following a third place finish in Houston that won him a total of $17,500 and has only improved from there. He won the Average at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo finished third at the Clovis Rodeo (California).

6. Tuf Cooper, $46,587

Cooper kicked off 2024 by making $10,821 at the National Western (Colorado) in January. He also made $4,500 in San Antonio and $5,000 in Houston while his lone win, La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros (Arizona), won him $13,456 between those two rodeos.

7. Joel Harris, $46,244

Harris won $27,250 in Houston after finishing second to his brother Ty in a rope off. His biggest payday outside of Houston was the Columbia River Circuit Finals where he made $7,532 for three straight Top 3 finishes and a win in the Average.

8. Haven Meged, $41,489

Meged won at least $5,000 in Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston before he swung out West to win $3,000+ at the High Desert Stampede (Oregon) and Clark County Fair and Rodeo in April.

9. Brushton Minton, $40,892

Minton made $9,331 in April much thanks to a fifth place finish in the Average in Red Bluff and second place finish at Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo. He also had two big wins before the calendar turned to 2024 at the Cinch Roping Fiesta (Texas) and California Circuit Finals each paid more than $7,000.

10. Chance Thiessen, $37,198

Thiessen’s first two rodeos of the year, the Cinch Roping Fiesta and Wilderness Circuit Finals, made him a total of $14,391 with a second and first place finish respectively. Following that he made more than $5,000 at the National Western as well as RodeoHouston.

11. Tom Crouse, $35,082

Since April 19, Crouse has won seven checks totaling $7,600. This month, he also has third place finish in San Angelo. During the Texas Swing, he also made the Finals in Fort Worth and San Antonio, where he won $7,500 at each.

12. Bryce Derrer, $33,650

The only rookie in the Top 15, Derrer has done so by winning $5,500 in San Antonio and $4,000 in Houston. This past weekend, he earned $2,700 at the Clovis Rodeo.

13. Westyn Hughes, $30,421

Hughes picked up a Texas Swing at Rodeo Austin which came with a check of $12,229. Hughes’ other win this year was at the SW District Fat Stock Show and Rodeo (Louisiana). He also $3,750 at RodeoHouston and $4,409 at the Cinch Roping Fiesta.

14. Dylan Hancock, $29,193

The 20-year-old’s biggest win of his career came at his hometown rodeo in San Angelo where he won with an aggregate time of 24.9 seconds on three. Hancock kept the momentum going the next weekend when he finished third in the Average at the Red Bluff Round-Up. Those two rodeos paid him $12,472 and $7,028. Dylan Hancock, 7.8, San Angelo Finals

15. Macon Murphy, $29,083

Louisiana native Macon Murphy has been making much of his money in Florida in 2024 as he has earned six checks worth about $10,000 total in the Sunshine State. He also won $10,250 at RodeoHouston.

16. Quade Hiatt, $27,820

Hiatt has won more than $2,000 at six different rodeos this season the most of which came at La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros, $8,781.

17. Hunter Herrin, $27,365

In the tightly packed World Standings, Herrin was able to move up 13 spots last week by winning more than $9,000 between Clovis and Lakeside (California). His best Texas Swing finish was third at Rodeo Austin.

18. Kincade Henry, $26,912

Henry has made three runs of 7.4 seconds this year and they have won him $6,995. During the Texas Swing, he won $8,500 in San Antonio.

19. Tyler Milligan, $25,360

Milligan is coming off his second best finish of the season, $4,764 for fourth place in the Average in Red Bluff. His best finish during the 2024 season is second in Fort Worth which paid $17,500.

20. Blane Cox, $23,329

Cox’s best stretch of the season came from March 9-23 when he placed at three different rodeos and won $7,000+ at three different rodeos. He also won $8,000 for a Finals appearance in San Antonio.

2024.05.03 02:36 Oasis276 Am I crazy or is my TDEE a lot lower than I initially thought

When I say much lower I mean on average they say your BMR is the bare minimum calories you body burns just to live and ypur TDEE is the additional calories you do randomly through out the day. In general they say to work around your TDEE and not your BMR
However, I have an office job and I genuinely don’t do anything other than sit on my computer for hours on end. My BMR is 1750 calories I’m 175 lbs @ 13-14% body fat trying to get to 9-10 in 16 weeks (long effort)
Calculators predict my TDEE is 2250. To me that’s absurd number because that would mean throughout my day I have burned 450 additional calories doing random things. However, I highly doubt my desk job and my daily activities even come close to that.
To put 450 calories in perspective, that’s roughly 4 miles jogging. Yeah I can’t imagine me sitting on my desk all day and grabbing a snack = 4 miles jogging.
So I think my TDEE stands at about 1900 calories per day. Those extra calories come from gym and just the standard random stuff I do for the 8 hours of being awake. An additional 150 calories for that (strength training doesn’t burn anything worth noting)
So yeah for a deficit I would have to eat 1400 calories to lose 1lb a day instead of 1800 calories.
HOWEVER, on days where I workout and jog I absolutely account for those days and adjust my intake accordingly. But on days where I just workout ONLY and work on my desk job. My prediction my TDEE is as low as 1900.
Thoughts?

[calculus 2] How to do this series using ratio test
Apparently the ratio test gives 4/5 but no matter how I tried the limit always ends up equals to one?

2024.05.03 02:31 ijberg Registeel ultra league question

Registeel ultra league question
My amazingly high stat product regi I got from a trade performs the same but losses the regi mirror when compared to a much lower stat product regi (according to pvpoke)
Should I just use the one that wins the mirror, or does a rank 37 regi actually perform better even if losing the mirror. Any help from people using regi in ultra legue much appreciated.

My daughter found this puzzle in an activity book and is asking for more like it. Is there a name for this type of puzzle so I can look for more of them?
