Hello everyone, I just got some bloodwork done and it painted a clearer picture of why I’m having the symptoms I have. I’ve been feeling sluggish, zero libido, and very emotional. Turns out my E is high and my free T is low while my total T is within range. I have an appointment with my Endocrinologist in a few days but wanted some input from the community. Has anyone had bloodwork like this before? If so, what was your solution? And did you find out why? Any information and tips will be appreciated. Thanks.

Since it's a new on-hit item and there's some dispute over its viability, I decided to crunch the numbers to figure out its value on my favorite jungler. The most notable aspect of Yun Tal over other on-hit damage sources is that this item is not affected by on-hit effectiveness, which drastically alters its effective damage on Bel'Veth.
Findings:
Yun Tal is one of the strongest on-hit sources for E at high health, even at 25% crit chance. BotRK can beat it (obviously), but against squishier targets the bonus AD to break even is reasonable even at 25%. It beats Wit's End at all levels around 75% with reasonable bonus AD. It beats Kraken Slayer at mid health at 75% with reasonable bonus AD, and it beats it at low health at 100% with reasonable bonus AD.
Kraken Slayer beats Yun Tal at basic attacks and Q when the enemy is at low health. Yun Tal breaks even with Kraken Slayer at mid health at 190 bonus AD/100% crit chance, and it breaks even with Kraken at low health at 246 bonus AD/100% crit chance.
BotRK beats Yun Tal at basic attacks and Q when the enemy is at high health. Even at 100% crit, Yun Tal needs 300 bonus AD to simply match BotRK versus a 2000 max health opponent.
In a vacuum, Yun Tal makes E deal good damage no matter what their health threshold is. The problem is how many items that ends up taking compared to just building Kraken Slayer + BotRK and having good high health and good low health damage output.
The starting variables
Bel'Veth has some of the worst base AD scaling in the game at 60-85.5. This means Yun Tal is effectively 21-30 (level 1-18) + 35% bonus AD for her.
Blade of the Ruined King deals in current enemy champ health, which means the actual quantity is dependent on enemy health bar. The wiki claims it has a minimum on-hit of 15, but in-game testing shows it always deals 0 against a min-health enemy.
Kraken Slayer deals 140-310 +0% AD every 3rd hit, increased up to 50% based on missing health. I'll divide the value by 3 to give an equivalent per-hit effect.
Wit's End simply deals 15-80 based on level, regardless of health or other items.

2024.05.17 12:30 Morm91 I've finally understood all the advice about cutting features from your game. I slashed half of my project to create a completely new game, and it was the best decision of my gamedev life (I think).

Let me start with some context. After 15 years of hobby gamedev on my own, I publicly announced my first game in August 2022. Naturally, I decided to dive right into my dream game, a 4X/S-RPG hybrid with two distinct gameplay layers: a strategic layer where you expand your kingdom, develop cities, interact with other factions, etc., and a tactical layer where you control your characters individually in battles. That was my first mistake—the scope was far too large for a first real game. From then on, my goal was to make a demo to gather player feedback. I made slow progress over several months, and the further I got, the more I realized the enormity of the task. At some point, my game was selected to participate in the Steam Strategy Fest in August 2023, so I set that date as my deadline for releasing the demo, which was my second mistake. I worked like crazy to get the demo ready in time, with only a few friends as playtesters. I managed to publish the demo just in time, even though I wasn’t completely satisfied with it. I knew it wasn’t perfect, but I thought it would do the job. And that’s when I started to get really disheartened. The initial feedback was disastrous—the median playtime was 6 minutes, there were major screen size compatibility issues, some game-breaking bugs, not enough tutorialization at all, and to my horror, I discovered many players had major problems with the UI. I kept working tirelessly to fix and improve everything, and after a few days, the game was in a much more playable and stable state. The median playtime increased to around 25 minutes, and I started getting some very positive feedback from players who praised the game design ideas despite everything. To my great surprise, the demo was even covered and well-received by some streamers (including a video that got about 10k views) (here's the last trailer I made for this game). After this intense period, I took a short break from gamedev to refocus. When I returned to the project, I have to admit I was quite discouraged by the amount of work still needed. That’s when I decided to do what had been on my mind for a long time: focus solely on the tactical layer of the game (which was the better functioning of the two). Upon reflection, I realized I could easily add a roguelike structure around the combat system to make a tactical roguelike like Into The Breach, one of my favorite games. I was able to quickly build a prototype and was immediately excited by my initial tests, so I decided to continue in this direction. The idea of making a first game with a much smaller scope, which I could later incorporate into my larger project without difficulty, seemed really good. However, one thing that bothered me was having built a small community around my big project (30 on Discord, ~400 followers on Steam) and having to announce to them that I was putting it on hold for an indefinite period to focus on a “new” smaller-scale project. But when I announced the news on Discord, it was very well received, and the players seemed to understand my decision overall. I “recruited” a few people from the server to help with testing and continued to work on the new demo. This time, I was very happy with the result, and the demo testers seemed to really enjoy it. I launched the Steam page for my new game last month with the demo, and the feedback has been very positive so far (the game has gathered as many wishlists in a month and a half as the old one did in a year). The demo stats are good, there has been a decent amount of coverage on Youtube (and more importantly the majority of streamers seems to love the game) , and I’m more motivated than ever to keep working on this (trailer for the new game). In the end, I think it’s a very good decision for the long-term realization of my dream game. It allows me to focus my development on one system at a time, get hands-on experience with publishing a game on Steam, and build a solid community. And I hate to say it, but it also makes commercial sense, allowing me to release two games instead of one for practically the same amount of work (but I plan to be fair to my community by offering a bundle of both games when the second one is released).

Sorry if this is a daft question.
I passed my test in January so all insurance quotes are extortionate. I currently have a cheap runaround car but a family member is kindly gifting me their car, so I plan to sell my current one. My income is low and it's going to be an extra £400 per year to insure this car, it does make financial sense to me because mine is falling apart so I'll spend that much or more on repairs.
I have been quoted 400-700 for this car which does not cover a full year's insurance costs for me, it's nowhere near, so I won't be able to pay it in a lump sum.
My question is, if I opt to pay in monthly instalments can I leave a bigger deposit, i.e. the money I get for my current car, and then pay lower monthly instalments to pay off the rest? Yes I could keep the money in a savings account and take some out every month, but I'm hoping if this is possible the added interest would be lower. I can't seem to find anything about it online.

Okay so I’ve been on my weight loss journey for quite some time now. And I’ve made a bit of progress.
I’m trying the calorie counting thing and it’s going okay I guess.
So far the most sugary stuff I consume are soda:Pepsi and Coke cause they contain like less than 220 calories.
Now I have a sweet tooth and I love chocolates and candy bars and etc but every time I pick one up and check the calories for even a small bar it’s always over 550 and I’m just going to put it down cause I feel it limits my options. As a result I hadn’t had candy for weeks.
Except today I was given 5 (only five) Oreo cookies and when I punched them into loseit, it gave me around 260 kilocalories. But when I finally checked the pack and did the math 5 cookies totaled to 930 kilocalories. I was devastated. Just like that a large part of my budget was chopped off and meaning I had less options.
I will be going to the gym later so hopefully I will shed off around 300-400.
I was wondering if this was considered a normal experience for many or if I’m overdoing it on my end.
Please any advice will be appreciated

Short reminder: I asked this question some times back and well some people said GPU was fried or psu, reset bios etc. well yeah i got a red Debug light so I thought damn must be the gpu.I even got to a point where i baked the whole GPU. I lost hope so another GPU means another GPU.
300€ down the drain. (New GPU)
Guess what? still the same red debug light. Igot a feeling that I have been living in a illusion. Everything told me it was the gpu.
at the end I bought samiliar componets and tested every single component, and it seemed like 2 things were broken
the PSU and the Motherboard. I was kinda proud that i figured it out , but mad I had to spend some money.
so the my question is why the hell did two things broke at the same time I only Played for no more than 10min and the two componed werent so old

I'm dealing with a persistent issue where my mouse stutters and skips every few seconds. This problem has been around for years, but no solution has been provided yet.
Nvidia remains silent on this issue, which is disappointing. Here's their response:
I've googled "mouse + nvidia," and it's clear tons of people have this problem. I’ve tried everything :unplugging /replugging the HDMI , toggling the Nvidia overlay, DDU by Guru3d - nothing works.
Initially, I thought this was a problem related to the OS or Logitech mouse software. I detailed the issue, thinking it was specific to my system and Logitech hardware: Reddit post.
I installed Portal 2 recently, and even at 300 FPS, the game is unplayable due to constant stuttering.
I also installed a fresh OS on a different partition, but the mouse issue persists. I haven't tested it in games yet because I've already spent several days trying to resolve this, and I'm at my wit's end. This is something nvidia should fix, not me.
The system itself is ok, because when I switch to the AMD APU , the mouse problem disappears in the OS. I haven't tested it in games because, obviously, you can't game on this GPU.
Here are my specs:
PS: I was planning to buy a 4070 Super but started with an older 2070. Good thing I did because it's unusable. I have six days left to return this card and might switch to a Radeon.
Has anyone found a reliable solution to this issue?
My original post on nviedia was removed by a moderator. It seems the issue I'm highlighting isn't welcome here. I feel this is censorship of content that might tarnish the company's image, yet it's the truth that this issue exists.

· The EPIC rarity is only stated in the card description if it is a different value than shown in-game.
· All Star Card descriptions were rewritten to be unilateral and have similar explanations. The names of heroes and second-person pronouns were avoided.
· Clearer antonyms are used: increased/decreased; extended/reduced.
o Increase/decrease suggests a progression in size, amount, or numbers (like adding/subtracting health, damage, stamina drain, and sprint speed).
o Extend/reduce suggests a change made to a value or number (like percentages for time, distance, and blaster heat).
· Damage Reduction is received; health points are regained.
· To avoid confusion, the term increased cooldown speed and increased recharge time (which uses percentage increased) is avoided. To keep all related effects as close in description as possible: extended/reduced cooldown time (still percentage) is the simplest way to describe the effect without changing the in-game number values.
· Extra damage is damage added to ability; bonus damage is situational.
· Some values were rounded to whole numbers to reflect in-game values. Such are health points, damage points, and blaster overheat. As a result, though noticeably small, the actual values in-game may be a little off when it comes to stacked values (like stacking damage reduction) and are yet to be tested.
· Some stats between the BF2 wiki and SammyBoiii’s Hero Guides differ in stats; however, they agree for the most part and usually differ by units less than a second.
· Feel free to pick any hero and test out the stats yourself. The more accurate stats we have, the better we can use them.
· Question Marks are unknown values. If you happen to know them or calculate the value, feel free to share them. Video proof seems to always work best.
· I personally feel that being open to the intricacies of every star card and ability is the best way to go and should not be considered an exploit. Everyone should know what’s happening when the enemy team starts using these game-changers (and there are many people who do), and best enabling them to learn how to counter it. In the end, understanding these little details leads to a more competitive and playable battlefront.
· Although not too often, some of the supposed up-to-date references below contradict each other; I had to make a final choice without having the time to test them.
· Getting all these stats was a hard-earned headache in the end. Feel free to correct any discrepancies you may find!

Dont do it. Period. It’s completely unnecessary overkill. I’d go as far to say it actually puts you at a disadvantage let me explain. If you are melting a project that has perler and artkal beads together or even a lot of different colors the beads melt at different rates. When u have a gigantic heat press it’s pretty much impossible to key in and do smaller spots that need extra heat time without overmelting the rest of the beads. I know a lot of people will talk about even heating surface on the presses and that’s great and all…IF all your beads are melting at the same pace, and this rarely happens. The iron itself is a minor component when it comes to getting a good melt. It’s all in the taping and poking holes, the prep. If you are using the wrong tape, or overlapping it too much, or not poking holes in every bead or not at all that’s what’s sinking your ship before you even plug your iron in. Personally I have 2 irons, a cheap $11 walmart Black+Decker, Easy Steam Compact Iron, IR02V-T and a mid/high tier Rowenta that was $80. The Rowenta works great but so does the B+D, the only thing that is nicer about the Rowenta is the “seamstress tip” basically a longer thinner tip for getting at small areas (completely opposite to a Cricut heat press). Even with that I find myself grabbing the Black and Decker more than the Rowenta. I should say that if your the type of maker that just lightly fuses the beads and the inner holes are all still completely open then a heat press will do you fine, it should speed up melting times. If you’re a flatmelt type melter then this post is definitely for you. I’m not bashing anyone that loves their Cricut, not at all, I’m making this post so creators know that a $300-$400 heatpress that maybe isn’t financially viable isn’t needed. Im sure I’ll get some blowback on this post and that’s fine. Look at my posts and see what kind of melts I’m getting on my $11 iron and you can decide from there if you want to take the advice or not.
