We both inherited my grandma's house and got 50/50 ownership of it. The house is fully paid off. She told me she wanted to take 10% more ownership of the house to get a line of credit on it for renovations and repairs since it's an old house and needed fixing up to be see as modern and normal. I agreed and let her take 10% more which I see now was stupid. Anyway , moving on from that , she fixed it up and started renting it on Airbnb. It's making shit profits. She also said we'd start making money like a year ago and then told me I'd get 3,000 dollars in both June and July. Now she's saying "she can give me UP TO 1,000 dollars for June", which I had to find out through my father since she didn't have the guts to say it to me. Notice the "give me" part , because she refused to let me on the Airbnb account. This means I'm legally entitled to none of that cash. Which also means whatever money she pays back on the line of credit she can claim solely as her own and claim I'm not contributing to that.
She's always been controlling and wanting to feel in charge between us and it's obvious she's doing it here. When I politely asked whats up with the bad profits she called me up cussing at me saying "why the FUCK do you need to know the profits if I'm giving you money." Yeah , she thinks its her house. I bet money based on how she is and her friends that they sit around going "you deserve to own that house , he's done nothing" since she constantly says I've put no money or work into the house. Which is funny because she always makes sure to remind me how my portion of the profits come out for bills on the house including the line of credit that's "hers." I'm done dealing with her in my life.
Also, kind of hard to help fix up a house when you have four four different spine disorders and severe nerve damage / pain and numbness. I'm not even supposed to lift things more than 15 pounds at a straight angle. She's showing her true colors as a total narcissistic cunt and as usual fucking up my mental health with her toxicity. I've wanted to cut out my family for years. I don't feel great selling my grandparents house but I'm not going to let it drive me insane. Oh and for anyone asking why I don't sell my percentage to my sister, I've offered many times , to which she gives a 70,000 dollar offer for a house ownership worth 150k+ after court costs and taxes. She recently offered me 100 grand and then said she'd have to talk to her lawyer when I asked how she'll pay me and then proceeded to ghost me via text.

It is what it is. It was kinda absurd how I came to my parents home on Tuesday, cause my beloved dog lives there and my aunt was there, noone was expecting her. She always scans me, she is extremely toxic and draining person to be around.
I forced myself to come down and "chat a little" out of obligation, I should not have done that. To this day, she thinks Im unemployed, as the rest of my extended "family" thinks too and she would ask in a very controling tone: "How are you doing?" , well, what is one supposed to answer to this automatic question? So I replied "fine" and she went on: "Well, who could be more fine than you right?" (You have a fairytale life)...Then my mom was talking about some gardening work she was doing, and the aunt said "You should make her help you!". I felt like a shit, erased and humiliated.
The thing is, she automatically assumes, that I dont do anything, that I never work. Plot twist. I am the one, who does the lawn moving every week, I do usually do the works, she insisted my mom should ask me to do, I am the chores lover in the house, I am the one who will paint the fence just because I want to, I buy groceries and bring them by walk to our house. She saw me riding electric scooter, so she assumes Im lazy to walk, I am very dynamic person in general. And the list of assumptions goes on and on.
My entire family does this, they never asked, not even once, where do I work, strangers ask that, they never do. So they know nothing, they have no updates on my life for years. My dad is considered to be high status person, everyone thinks we are rich, so they think, that my occupation is being daughter. They can´t be further from the truth, my dad is a scrooge, he is the "me,me,me" person, my money, my house etc. His job, his status, his life is something that has nothing to do with us, he lives it in the big city and comes "home" to our little town on weekends, it´s almost like he lives a double life. We dont know anything about his job, my mom does not know where he lives whole week.
He does not know me at all, he never supported my life decisions, he has different values and views on everything, I have always been my own person, he never understood me, always mocked me for being different (you are antisocial, abnormal etc) and yeah, we are basically like strangers. My mom does not work, and she needs money from him, but he gives her too little, so you know...the situation we live in vs what people think is two completely different universes.
My extended family never perceived me as a real person I guess, as someone, who actually lives and exists, they see me as an npc character with some name, but not as real person. Im 31, but grandpa will wish me happy birthday, give me money and tell me to buy some ice cream, this aunt, that I mentioned would always bully me, she would observe if I eat, constantly projects onto me, that Im on a diet (Im not), cause she has trouble with her weight, so she compares herself to me, she is like 70, Im 31.
Another aunt and my cousins, they have always created conspiracies about my family, they too think we all never work and just have holiday all the time. Their kids - my cousins all live at home and they are between ages 20-40. My brother is still at home too. So you know, it feels absurd, that this inept caricature, that they see in me, moved out, pays her rent with her money, that she has earned in her job, that she found by herself by sending CV.
I know, that if they knew this, this narrative would follow: They would be convinced, that my dad pays for it, that I dont have real job, or if I do, then he must have help me get it. My own landlord thinks this! This was the real bad luck, she pushes this narrative onto me, because as soon as they found out whose daughter I am, she and her family, who know him, made their mind immediately. They even asked me, when I was signing the contract, if we had an argument and parted on wrong terms with my family, they could not understand, how come I am about to be paying rent, cause they too assumed, that in "such families" parents buy apartments to their kids and then they kinda started another narrative, that this is all about me trying it in "real world" and trying to be on my own, but since I dont really have to, it´s just a funny attempt. And that is how Im being looked at.
This is beyond insane! It´s all lies, assumptions and total dehumanization of me as a person. The fact, that I managed to get apartment and pay rent is a huge deal for me, that I myself provided for me with nobody´s help but mine, and I am forced to do a performance in front of them all and pretend, that nothing has changed, so they can see that inept thing in me forever, so they will not taint my success with gossip, lies and conspiracies. I should cut them off, and I did those that I could, some I avoid at all cost, as that toxic aunt, but sometimes I cant avoid them, and they still are connected to me through my immediate family, that I cannot cut off as I have no balls for it.

That Altrin girl could have gone for a pretty credit if we got her, but what the hells was that rifle she was using? I thought a fully automatic BYR was impossible due to the recoil and explosive payloads. But that white… whatever she was… She is completely terrifying. I thought she would just sell for a lot more since she kept her fur in good condition, so I thought she was just an assistant to that Altrin girl. I sigh as we finish escorting the remaining crew to their quarters or work quarters, taking in consideration to take longer routes around the ship to avoid bodies that we haven’t had time to clean up yet. There were a few crewmembers we had to either escort back to their work areas or to communal areas due to bodies that we couldn’t avoid.
It’s going to be a long few days…
My attention is grabbed by my wrist data pad as I get a call from Triwt.

“Right, right…” I sigh again before continuing to speak, “Anyways, I’m setting up an autopilot course to take us to Verglas.”
“Verglas?”
“Yeah, sending you the information now.”
There’s a moment of silence from Triwt before she speaks, “You’re kidding me, right?”

“Jordan? My my, Captain I didn’t know you were interested in him where you're already shortening his name.”
“It’s not like that! He said it was weird to hear everyone saying his ‘full name’ and prefers being called by his ‘first name’.” I huff in slight annoyance and embarrassment.
“Ah okay, does that mean we should all refer to him as Jordan then?”
“I believe so if that’s what he wishes.”
I mean I felt special when he wanted me to call him Jordan, but oh well.
“Okay, I’ll see you there, Cerelia.”

I slowly walk down the hall. It’s been quarantined due to the fact that there’s still blood and bullets on the walls and floor of the corridor. It seems that the trail of blood from Jordan has gone from red to more of a brownish black color.
I look up at a sign in the hallway that reads, “MEDICAL ROOM 07” which I smirk a little.
I always find it funny that despite it being a medical room, everyone calls it a Med Bay. I wonder where that name for it came from.
“Hey Triwt, I’m here-” I cut myself off as before me in the room is Triwt, Lys, and every crew member from the compromised safe room. Well all except for R’dorn.
I’m glad that prick isn’t here, but I wasn’t expecting everyone else to be here.
“Oh uh, hey everyone. Are we all here to see, Jordan Cores?”
Lys nods and speaks up, “Yes, and Triwt did inform us about his name preference. It’s a little bit weird, but we can do it if it’s what he wishes.”
I admit, I was almost a little bit annoyed that others were calling him Jordan now, but I have to let that emotion go for now as I’m here to see how he’s recovering, not to try and be an overprotective mother. I nod and walk over to the stasis regeneration tube as I look inside.
Part of me is glad that his arms and hands have already been fixed, but…
Not everything is going to be truly healed 100%.
I think to myself as I can see the formations of scars on his skin tissue. I noticed it the first time, but I don’t think he noticed it himself when he woke up after his first big injury. His wrists and knuckles are the most scarred, due to probably when he was punching that orange Alcoranth, but his wrists are from when he broke out of his restraints when we first found him.
Not the best memory to think back on… It hasn’t even been a full day yet. Oh, and where is Jordan going to sleep?
I then slowly bring myself to look at his face, which is almost finished healing. There’s a scar on his chin and a scar leading to under his right ear where the shot left his head. It’s not a major scar except for the entrance and exit wounds, but it’s still somewhat noticeable. If anything the white tissue of the scars make it stand out against his [tan] skin.
If only we had some higher grade Stasis Regeneration Tubes, maybe we could heal those scars as well… All we can do now is wait…

I take in a deep breath, gasping for air as I sit straight up in a cold sweat, holding onto my face and chest. My heart beats quickly and I sit there panting. I quickly check myself to make sure I’m not missing any body parts or anything.
“That is not an okay feeling!” I say aloud before shuddering.
It’s hard to describe how it feels to be in pain, everything slightly red in my vision, I was hearing my own heart thumping in my chest all the while I couldn’t hear out of my right ear, and then in the blink of an eye everything is fine, there’s no more pain just the sensation that something is missing while sitting on a bed of some sort surrounded by aliens.
Oh right the aliens.

I turn my head and look around me, and while I’m a little panicked, I’m able to calm down as most of them are sitting further back or standing near the walls. The only ones closer to me are Lys, Cerelia, and I think the white snake lady is Triwt if I remember correctly.
“Um… good morning?” I ask nervously as I look around the room. “Is it even morning?”
“No, it’s technically the middle of the night, Jordan.” Cerelia says as she puts her paw on my head and rubs my hair like my parents used to when I was younger. “But, we all wanted to be sure you would be fine when waking up and it would be cruel to leave you alone when waking up. That, and these crewmembers wanted to express their thanks for protecting them. Though, hopefully next time it won’t be such a violent display.”
“S-Sorry, I wasn’t really thinking when that happened.”
“To be fair you were shot in the head. I think they were more scared that you seemingly came back to life.”
“Y-Yeah… Uh, if it’s okay, can I maybe say hi to them then?” I ask, peering around her shoulder to look at the other crew members. She nods and steps to the side as a line forms of aliens who want to speak to me.

I never expected to spend the next 20 minutes receiving thanks from complete strangers, aliens nonetheless, but it was still nice. I also apologized if I potentially scared them for what they saw me do.
Also aliens apparently hug. A lot.
That would probably explain why Cerelia was petting my head as well…
The last person I expected to approach me was Triwt.
She slithered up to me and offered me one of her four hands, which I accepted, gently shaking it before she pulled me into a hug like the last 13 people did. After a few seconds she lets me go.

And that is Chapter 10! I know it's probably a bit more on the boring side, but it's to try and set up our trip to Verglas (which is a thin coating of ice on a rock. Ice Rock. Ice Planet)! I really liked the suggestions of an ice planet so thats where we're heading. Major Cities and spaceports are built on natural heat signatures which cause a lot of natural hot springs (ooo fun!). Also for our theorizers, no, Pri'Darya will not be recurring, I just wanted to give him a name and their side of things in the aftermath.
Also it's time for Jordan to finally get a job! It hasn't been a full day and Triwt wants him on her team! This also means I can have an excuse for him to be around Lys and Cerelia more often. That being said, does Jordan get his own room, or does he have to bunkbed with somebody?

I’ve just got into the DC comics literally starting from scratch with a DC Infinite subscription.
I loved King Shark series it was funny, short, and not at all convoluted.
I also started reading Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing run which is AMAZING.
I have read some of the Rebirth one shot issues to introduce the characters

And a lot of them particularly Superman seemed really convoluted with people coming through time and different dimensions it was a bit much for me. I am a simple individual and I just want to read stories that are more focussed on the character.
I did enjoy Suicide Squad rebirth and Wonder Woman maybe promising.
I’m also reading Sandman which is its own thing and I really enjoy.
I’m just wondering if the main line comics simply aren’t for me or if I need to give them more of a chance? It feels like the stories are being over complicated for the sake of it. When for me I’d be happy with just super hero faces different threat every issue 😝

I want to share a bit of my journey with you, and why I believe we're on the right track. I'm someone who hasn't had an easy life. I've had to work extremely hard to get where I am today. And now, we find ourselves in a challenging situation, waiting for the GME share price to hopefully increase.
In the past few days, like many of you, I've been torn between selling, holding, or buying more shares. But today, I've made my decision, and I want to share it with you.

Hello everyone! I've tried to keep this post as organized as possible, I am sorry if it is too much or too little and am happy to correct it as needed.
I am concerned about the upward trajectory of my dogs weight and am looking for advice on what more we can adjust to keep him healthy!
Species: Dog
Age: 6
Sex/Neuter status: Chemical castration in March 2024 ( decision for aggression issues after adopting him and trying to train his behavior for ~2 years )
Breed: Not fully known, his previous family thought havanese/chinese crested mix, we think maybe maltese mix of some kind.
Body weight: 7kg
History: Before chemical castration it was difficult to keep him on a regular food schedule, he was picky but he maintained a healthy approved weight ranging from 6 to 6.5kg - vet was happy with this weight. At the time of his castration, he was 6.3kg - this was maintained across about 2 or 3 weeks at the time and is a good representation of his usual weight. After chemical castration, his focus on food skyrocketed so that he began to gobble down each meal - we broke his meals into smaller parts and began measuring more exactly, starting with 35g per meal. He now eats four small scheduled meals a day, using a puzzle feeder to slow him down.
Clinical signs: Idk if this is a clinical sign but I'll put this here. His weight has been slowly climbing. He is now 7kg, and his waist line is filling out and his ribs are less easy to feel.

• After various online studying, I learned about Resting Energy Requirement and calculated his to be 370.65 kilocalories per day for his 6.5kg weight.
• We noticed his weight on an upward trend in April when we checked him and saw he'd gone up to 6.7, and made the decision to reduce his meals from 35g/meal, and reduce snacks such as treats or rawhide.
• We have now cut down his food intake to 30g per meal, four times a day, after he went up to 7kg. For treats he get bits of his daily food intake instead of other treats, and maybe a tiny bit of carrot or broccoli sometimes.
• After about a week, he has stayed at 7kg but I don't know how fast or slow weight loss or gain is.
• He weighs 7kg now, and he goes on 3 20 minute walks per day.
• His food is 3651 kcal / kg.
• What should I do to reach his target weight? Do you cut calories a lot? Do you increase them again when he reaches it?
• I am very worried about him becoming very overweight and we want to do our best to prevent any more weight gain that could become very unhealthy.

The film is a total mess, with bizarrely long takes of John Huston (!) and others pacing or staring or driving in one scene and rapidfire edits in another. Lance Henrikson’s (!) Ray is more robotic than Bishop, and Shelley Winters (!) and Sam Peckinpah (!!) don’t make much of a difference. Allegedly, the cast only participated to gain a free trip to Italy, which I hope they enjoyed. Huston’s distinctive voice is the film’s only redeeming quality, but you’re better off hearing it elsewhere. Gore: 1/10. Nudity: None. Tubi.
The Ruins (2008): “Aren’t you glad you came?” Iceman and Jena Malone (who had a memorable makeout session in Neon Demon) venture with their friends to some off the path Mayan ruins, where the locals welcoming in a “We wish you’d never, ever leave” way. As it turns out, I’d already seen this one long ago; hearing the “cell phone” ring immediately tipped me off. But it was very much worth a second watch, and if you haven’t seen it absolutely do so. It’s well worth the $3 and change. Then consider the aftermath. Gore: 6/10. Nudity: None. Prime rental
Deathgasm (2015): “Hail Satin” Horror comedies face the same challenge as regular comedies: keeping the laughs going after the first 15 minutes, when the dramatic plot kicks in. Tucker and Dale did this very well; Zombeavers not so much. Deathgasm, fortunately, is a lot closer to T&D, finding ways great and small to inject humor in and around the more serious scenes. And damn, what lines — I had to pause more than a few times to laugh my arse off. As a metalhead in my youth, I appreciated a lot of jokes more than I might have otherwise, but anyone with a stomach for gore and naughtiness will enjoy this one. Gore: 8/10, but it’s a funny 8/10. Nudity: Brief. Tubi
My Heart Can’t Beat Unless You Tell it To (2021): “We shouldn’t be doing the things that we’re doing.” Two siblings care for the third, who is sickly and has special nutritional requirements one might term the “Lugosi Diet.” Not heroin — the red stuff. This is only peripherally a vampire movie. It’s much more a psychological drama about caregiver fatigue, the struggle of the able to aid the disabled and how even a family full of love can collapse under the weight of their burdens. There’s no backstory given, no mythos to justify the situation, just a family struggling to do what they have to do to keep their youngest member alive. It’s good, with the leads providing a bleak window into their day-to-day existences, though a little humor would have been nice. It’s an existential, thought-provoking vignette that may linger with you. Gore: 3/10, bloodletting. Nudity: Just a man and his underwear. Screambox, which I apparently still have.
The Lake (2022): “Compose yourself. Don’t get out of the car.” I wanted a big monster flick, and this Thai production says it has one. I just hope I don’t have to wait forever for it to sho—ah, 3 minutes in and there it is. No build up at all. Huh. A fan of Bong Joon-Ho’s The Host (2006) apparently got hold of a decent budget and put together a “Thaiju” film of their own, and it’s…okay. While the editing is all over the place, it does keep the story moving, and the creatures are interesting to look at and well rendered. There are speed bump human dramas, but they don’t account for much; characters are uni-dimensional, and the film unfortunately lacks much in the way of a binding narrative. If you’re in the mood for a big beast exercise in special effects, you could do worse. Just don’t expect much else. Gore: 4/10. Nudity: None. Prime.
Moloch (2022): “You science boys, you’re uninformed.” This Dutch folk horror tells — at a modest pace — the story of Bietrik and her family, who have suffered substantial losses over the generations. Events lead her to believe that her family may be cursed, haunted by some local entity. All in all, it’s a decent movie, wrapped around its own eerie mythology and leading to a striking conclusion. There’s a scene in a field that should have been left on the cutting room floor, and the second half lacks the sense of urgency and discovery that can really carry a movie, but I’d still recommend it for the atmosphere and some fine, creepy moments. Not bad for a writedirector’s first full length feature.

Trivia: While Moloch has often been thought of as a deity to whom children were sacrificed, more recent research suggests it was instead a type of sacrifice, one that involved children and was performed for various gods in the Levant, including the god of the Hebrews. Shudder
Lovely, Dark, and Deep (2023): “You’ve taken from us.” Georgina Campbell (Barbarian) is a forest ranger taking her first 90-day assignment in the deepest part of the woods in her fictional park. We see her settle in, go on multi-day walkabouts, and wrestle with a loss in her past. It’s a slow, scenic build to the weirdness, but it snowballs quickly. There’s a “walking simulator” aspect that follows which may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but Campbell kept me invested with her performance. While the film follows some tropes (things there one moment and gone the next, for example), it turns others on its head. While “in the forest” stories can go very different ways (as The Ritual, Gaia,and In the Earth demonstrate), I finished LD&D thinking of it as a folk horror. I’m curious if you agree. Gore: 5/10 for some red moments. Nudity: None. Trivia: The title comes from a Robert Frost poem you may have encountered in school. Tubi

When E realises that someone has evidence they always claim that they are going to expose them. They do this to deflect away from any evidence posted of their behaviour.
Lately we have had the threat of exposing Exposed, which is funny in itself as only a few weeks ago when they exposed The Inspector (which turned out the photo and name was of the wrong person), they claimed to have Exposed's details.
Strangely enough, they seem to have shut up about The Inspector and it does make you wonder why......
Anyway, as they are now gobbing off because Action Fraud are investigating them following my communication with them, I can't help thinking it's going to get funny.
Firstly, let me just say that E was invited on more than one occasion to come and "say it to my face" and bottled it. Instead they did a pity me live claiming people were looking for them to attack them.
Secondly, E stated on a live that they would show all the bank statements. Funnily enough we are all still waiting.
But anyway, as E likes to claim they are going to expose people I can't wait for the following, because we all know this line is going to come:

Some background: He's (21M) my (21F) coworker. We've been working together since June of last year but didn't really start talking to each other until September. We were hitting it off during the fall but didn't get the chance to work together as much during the spring due to scheduling changes. I definitely liked him first. I'm honestly not sure what I did to get him to like me back; I'm not particularly good at flirting at all. I guess I just annoyed him enough that I eventually started to grow on him. He's always asking me how I'm doing and how school's going. He goes out of his way to start a conversation with me. We have our little inside jokes; he's always teasing me about how aggressive I am. I've caught him looking at me several times.
Anyway, now that the school year is over, he's going to be doing an internship in another state for the next three months. I, on the other hand, am working on finding a new job so that I can move out. Suffice it to say, I'll probably be gone by the time he comes back to work in the fall. So, I decided to message him via our work communication app and ask for his contact information. I would have asked him in person, but our workplace only releases the schedule week-by-week, and it's not always consistent each week, so I didn't know that our last shift together (on May 5) would be our last 😔. This is a part-time job comprised mostly of high school and college students, so it's not like dating a coworker would risk my career or anything, and like I said, I'm planning on quitting anyway. What I said was this: "Hey, do you have Instagram or Snapchat or a phone number or something? Since I probably won't be working here by the time you come back in the fall. Idk just in case we never see each other again 😅".
I'm so scared. I was literally trembling as I sent the message. That was about six and a half hours ago; it's nearly 4 am now, so he's definitely not responding until morning. Was I too forward? Guys like it when girls make the first move, don't they? Did I make the right decision? I mean the worst he can say is no, right? Or, I guess, leave me on read, in this case. I'm worried I might be bothering him during finals week, although I think nearly everyone's finals are over at this point. I know he's a super busy guy; if he doesn't get back to me right away, I understand. I just couldn't hold back any longer; I was worried he'd stop looking at our work app over the summer and I'd lose my chance forever.
I'm also worried that he thinks I lost interest in him. I feel like I was bolder when talking to him during the fall, but these past few months I've been kind of shy around him since we hardly see each other anymore. Sometimes my mind just goes blank around him. I'm able to socialize with my other coworkers really easily because I'm not attracted to any of them, but when it's just us one-on-one my brain is just like "Oh my god, cute guy!" and turns to mush and I forget how to speak. Most of the time he's the one initiating the conversations and I feel bad. But I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking things.
Lastly, I'm worried he might think less of me now that I've dropped out of college. I told him during our last shift together that I had dropped out about a month ago, and the way he reacted seemed a bit judgmental. I don't think he meant to be judgmental, though; I think he just had no idea what to say. Or maybe I'm just hypersensitive to criticism, I don't know. I didn't want to go into the personal reasons (mental health and family stuff) behind why I decided to drop out (although I think he can kind of tell something's up), so I'm worried he just thinks I'm lazy and a quitter. It doesn't help that I tend to goof off and socialize a lot during work; not to the point where I'm not doing my job, but enough that it's clear I'm definitely not the hardest worker there. He, on the other hand, is super conscientious about his work; he has a great work ethic, which I admire. I think we just view work in different ways. I'm never going to slack off so much that I'm hurting my coworkers, but I'm also not going to put in maximum effort for a corporation that doesn't even pay me a living wage. I'm just worried that he sees the way I act at work and thinks of me as this ditzy dumbass when I'm so much more than that.
I've never actually been in a relationship, but I have had quite a few crushes, and I can say without a doubt he's the biggest crush I've ever had. I know everyone views their crush through rose-colored glasses, and while I know he's not perfect, this man is seriously a walking green flag. He's so smart, handsome, and funny. He's the sweetest guy; I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. He's always trying to cheer me up whenever I'm down. He's effortlessly kind to everyone and goes out of his way to help people. Did I mention we work at a movie theater? Well, during the worst shift of my life, two weeks after Barbenheimer (fun for audiences, but absolute madness for movie theater employees), I was stuck working the concessions stand completely alone on a Saturday night (usually we would have three to four employees on such a busy night). It was chaos; literally a nonstop line for at least an hour and a half, with absolutely no help from my managers (until I had a mini mental breakdown later that night, but I digress). Anyway, my crush was literally the only one who helped me prior to my mini mental breakdown. He was working as an usher that night (one of the people who cleans the theaters after each movie) and stayed ten minutes past the end of his shift to help me make popcorn and restock the concessions stand. He didn't have to do that. Our managers worked us like dogs that summer; most people would have been out of there the moment their shift ended. But not him. This was before we had even started talking, definitely before he started reciprocating feelings. There was no ulterior motive here. He just saw a coworker struggling and decided to go out of his way to help, with no benefit to himself. Because that's just the type of person he is. And that might seem like a small thing to you guys, but I feel like genuine kindness is so rare these days. I feel it's such a dog-eat-dog world out there; seems like we're all becoming more and more individualistic, and that everyone is only looking out for themselves. I don't know, I just hear horror stories about shitty guys all the time, and he just seems different.
I'm just terrified of the response (or lack thereof) I'm going to wake up to in the morning. Because even if he does give me his number, what then? There's been this unspoken chemistry and connection between us for months now. One of us has to confess our feelings, right? Will it be me? Will it be him? Will either of us have the guts to do it? It's our last chance. It's now or never. And I feel like maybe I'm not in the best place in my life for a relationship... but are any of us ever truly ready for one? I couldn't help falling for him when I did. I just feel like if I don't take that risk and confess my feelings to him now, I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life. And even if he rejects me, or we try dating and it doesn't work out, at least I can say I tried. The pain of rejection is nothing compared to the pain of regret, right?

Out of nowhere, my PC is stuck in a boot loop. When I enter the BIOS, it shows "Clear CMOS, Information" (second picture).
<- This happens every time after a restart.
The PC doesn't restart when I enter the BIOS, but only when I try to boot normally.
What's crazy are the voltage and temperatures <- 4090 at -1.0°C, lol.
I have already changed the BIOS battery, updated the BIOS, and reverted to older BIOS updates.
I know I'm just a random guy on the internet, but since I edit and make videos, it's urgently necessary.

In my 4 years here, I've had several private conversations with Taiwanese co-workers. These are all conversations that they have initiated after gaining their trust. They all know that I used to live in China. None of them have ever even visited China. And yet they all had the same conclusion- Taiwan should submit to China now, as the situation is hopeless, and it will only get worse the longer Taiwan insists on a status quo approach.
This happened again a few nights ago at a dinner. Someone whose ancestors have been in Taiwan for over 200 years telling me things like, "I know they don't have Democracy, but at least they are RICH while Taiwan is POOR, so maybe they can help us be richer" and "I don't think America will defend us anyway, so it's probably better if we just submit to China now. That way no Taiwanese have to die!"
I obviously have no definitive proof that their opinions were formed as the result of consuming CCP propaganda, but I suspect that's the case, and also the case they are not even aware of when they are consuming CCP propaganda.
I am certain that these opinions are not shared by the majority of adults in Taiwan, but I've never had a private conversation with a Taiwanese coworker where they said something like, "Hey. What was China really like? What did you think about how people live there?" Instead, oddly, they simply formed their own opinions about how China is "not so bad" without ever going there or even asking the opinion of someone that lived there.
Anyway, just wanted to start a discussion. Have you seen that your Taiwanese peers are vulnerable to CCP propaganda, or perhaps not even recognizing that the lines they repeat about Taiwan being poor and helpless are fed to them by the CCP?

My HA instance is on at http://192.168.0.5:8123/, i can access that from the local net, but not the VPN My Node-Red instance is accessible at http://192.168.0.5:1880 from the local net and the VPN My Hass-configurator instance is available at http://192.168.0.5:3218, I can also access this from both the local net and vpn
I noticed that it seemed like the webpage was loading forever so I curled it, and that was successful as well. Let me know if any of you would like to see curl output
I only have one error in my error log, but I've been getting that error since I installed HA and long before I attempted connecting via VPN:

Since I can navigate to the node-red and hass-configurator pages, I have to assume the issue lies directly with Home Assistant. I haven't edited my configuration.yaml in any way to support using the VPN, is there something I'm missing?
Edit: Additional info I realized that the issue is with the reply from the HA webserver because of this:
I connected my phone to wi-fi and disabled the vpn, then logged into HA. On my dashboard there is a button card that controls a light in my room.
I disabled wifi and connected the vpn
I pressed the button to toggle the light, and the light toggles! The state of the button as shown by the page doesn’t change though. If i refresh the page, it times out.
How can I troubleshoot the reason why the HA webserver isn’t responding to IP’s on the VPN lan?
