I recently got a perm and tbh it looks like curly dreads, not even joking. I cant finger coil it because it wont stay, tbh my stylist (who is my aunt, and is professional but not good at her job) told me nothing and I’m confused on who perms look like actually natural curly hair on other people. Its really just unfair. I comb it and tbh it loses its curly way to quickly like that. I have a curly haired dad and and a straight haired mom so my hair was somewhat wavy but curly tbh i dont think curly hair products can help the curl at all because i only ever see social media people do it and i dont really consider them real people (LMAOO) so any help?

Hello all,
I am a 40 year old male, and I have decided to finally fix me crocked teeth and get braces. Today (5/17), I saw my Orthodontist. He went over the x-rays, pictures of my face and teeth , and treatment plan. Why braces at 40, you may ask? Well, firstly, I can now afford braces. I grew up poor. Secondly, I want to have a great looking smile! My teeth are in bad shape, cosmetically speaking.
I decided to go with the clear brace on top, and the traditional braces on the bottom. Invisalign was an option but it was too expensive and too much of a pain with taken them off, and putting them back on along with the 22 hour wear requirement.
The treatment will take 18 months at a final cost of $4.5K after insurance.
I am here to ask some questions.

1. For those older folk, how was your experience with braces?
2. The doctor also suggested that I get a permanent retainer on the bottom teeth, since that's where a lot of my issues are. Was the perm retainer bothersome to you?
3. Did the perm ever retainer break?
4. Is this a fair price for braces?

Hey, I just got a perm, and it is way to curly for what I asked. I asked for a more wavy perm. I was wondering if there was ways to loosen up the curls ? Like add water or some like that. Thanks.

Well... onix is a website from Mexico where in addition to selling clothes/accessories/toys and more, at the time it had Adobe Flash Player games back in 2008-2011. However, a large part of them are partially lost, among them there was one who used to play a lot when I was a child.
It was the typical flash game of dressing up girls and taking pictures of them in their outfits. In this game the 4 main girls of the world of Onix Girls Rule could be dressed (Punk Girl: the punk red hair girl. Chic Girl: the pink girl. Disco Girl: the blonde wavy hair girl. And Nerd Girl: the blue girl with glasses). I remember it very well because in addition to the fact that it was characteristic because of the character design that I had at that time, it is also because in the game you could hear this song: "Kylie Minogue - Wow", but only in loop.
I honestly didn't remember the name and I haven't seen any recording or image of the game in question. Until I decided to search the Wayback Machine recently. And I could find in there records with the name of the game (which apparently is "Dressy Girl") and others from the same Onix website. But unfortunately, I had no success trying to access the URLs it put on the Wayback Machine site. It's sad because I haven't found anything related to the name or any recorded gameplay out there either. In addition to the fact that currently the Onix page was renamed onixpinkshop.com and it changed completely... Both in characters and in the page in general.
I have only found old animations that were also on the nix.com.mx page on YouTube, but I have not been able to find almost anything related to this flash game or the rest of games that there used to be. If anyone knows something, remember the old Onix website or has more details about this and other games, don't hesitate to comment!!

• Vol. 1 is G3 because of slight bend/waviness. It may be possible to bend back, but I have not tried. Vol. 2-4 are in perfect condition.

It's time for me to get a haircut again but every one I've been to has given me a terrible haircut. I have a modern mullet with kind of wavy hair. The sides aren't completely shaved and I don't have a fade. I want to keep the front and back longer, just below or at eyebrow level. Every barber I've been to seems to either give me a bowl cut and cut straight across my head or doesn't listen and just gives me a short ugly style. Part of it is on me because before I didn't explain clearly even though I had a picture and video but I still think that there aren't many modern barber shops where I live. Does anyone have any barber shop or salon suggestions that are in the Barrie, Orillia, Vaughn area? (Ontario Canada).

The image is showing which style I want the tattoo in, but I want more symmetry and less “wavy”. I have plenty of more pictures for inspiration and I have also been drawing myself, which I will share to the person taking on the job. A bonus is if you have knowledge about Norse mythology since all the tattoos will tell stories about the gods and their beliefs. The tattoo will cover pretty much my entire body with a few exceptions. I think I have 2a-b type hair. I’ve included pictures of when it is wet (inside) and after I’ve attempted to break a gel cast (outside). I’ve always hated it because I could never dry it straight. I’m trying to nourish the pattern now but am struggling. I’ve tried mousses and creams but they always are either too crunchy or too heavy or just leave my hair looking icky and wet.
I only wash it a couple times a week, double cleansing at least once, using a pre-shampoo mask at least once, comb in the shower with wide toothed comb, put up in microfiber towel, then spray leave in conditioner, comb again, and scrunch. I then attempt whatever product or style I’m trying (if any). Most often I air dry but I do have a diffuser as well.
For products used in the pictures: prose color extend effortless waves shampoo, prose anti-brassiness conditioner, prose total smoothness color care leave-in conditioner, and herbal essences volumizing mousse.
I’ve tried to break the gel cast, but my hair just ends up a stringy mess. Do I not actually have wavy hair and am just doomed to have frustratingly bumpy hair? What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

im an asian man 18yo man and usually hv super straight hair, slightly wavy and i went to a salon for a perm and showed a picture of a super curly hair and told her i wnted it a lil less curly frm the pic. she then did the perm procedure and the rollers used was quite small so i expected my hair to be curly after. but after she took out those rollers she washed my hair and blow dry and sprayed something and it looked not so curly. she told me itd look more curly after washinf but i heard i cant wash my hair for 3 days after perming. do u think after 3 days and i wash it it will look curlier? its like it would look almost straight unless i push my hair back and pull it back front. pls help i done spend 200😭.

I have been trying to figure out how to properly care for my hair my entire life and it’s going downhill fast. I need help!!
For context I have very fine, thin-medium thickness hair that tangles easily, gets greasy on my scalp quickly & feels incredibly dry on the ends. I have wavy/straight texture that falls flat & lacks volume.
Lately I’ve noticed it’s become so much more dry & brittle with noticeable breakage despite feeling like I’m doing everything right!!!
Here are some of the hair care things I do regularly: - wash 3 times a week (every other day - every 2 days) - Double shampoo & only condition ends - Use a microfiber hair towel - Brush extremely gently only when hair is dry/damp, starting from the ends & working my way to the scalp - Moroccan argan oil on ends for day 2 hair - Brush nightly to distribute natural oils to ends - Sleep with a loose French/Dutch braid for protection - Use a scalp scrubber (gently) nightly before I braid, and in the shower to lather shampoo - Rarely use heat, if anything the dyson blow dryer on medium heat (maybe once every 2-3 weeks) - Always use heat protectant when using heat - Switched from aerosol dry shampoo to powdered dry shampoo - Rosemary oil once a week (ish) for growth & to combat thinning (I have so many more baby hairs & am seeing new growth around my hairline. I don’t think this is posing a threat to my hair health)
It feels like I’m doing so much & my hair has all of a sudden taken a turn for the worst (despite not changing much in my routine) and I have no idea what to do.
In the past week I’ve noticed my hair has been: - dryer than ever, i recently got a haircut yet I feel like all of the hair on my head is split ends. - Falling out!!! So much shedding occurs on my hair wash days… - Unmanageable! All of my go to products seem to not be working anymore…
I have religiously used the brand HASK hair products (shampoo, conditioner, argan oil) for years and use the Mielle rosemary oil.
My hair is naturally dirty blonde/light brown, I’ve been dying it darker with a box for years however I have not dyed it since November (it’s May) and don’t plan to anytime soon.
I live in the Chesapeake Bay Area for environmental context & don’t think I have noticeably hard water…. I eat a relatively clean diet with no restrictions…
Could this be hormonal? (I just recently got off birth control after 10 years but I’m only 22) Is it the products I’m using? (Yet every time I try something new it backfires…) Am I just doomed for life ?!?!?
