I've been trying to find this game for a long time! A game with a blonde girl as protagonist. I could not read english properly at the time, so I don't recall names and dialogues, but I remember a few very specific things:

• You could change clothes, but I think you started with a white blouse and blue skirt, with blonde hair in a bun.
• The scenery started in a farm house, there was a path leading to a castle with tall grass, and other path leaded to some magic ruins
• There was a naked faerie, I think she asked for a magical item before unblocking the path
• Some underwater scenes fighting a boss with guns (you needed to find a special cloth to dive),
• I think you could fix a spaceship and go to an alien city
• Climbing a tower with a long spiral ladder to talk to a princess
• You could change the background music - it was a very upbeat music and sometimes a woman would whisper

Here are some harsh truths.

1. The world is not fair. Some people are born pretty and some "ugly." Some are born into wealth and others into poverty. Even if you try your hardest, you may not get your dream job or dream girl or whatever dream you have. This is the truth.
2. Self improvement is not fun (for most people). Because it is much easier to blame the "system" (the unfair world) than it is to take ownership of your situation and improve yourself.
3. Nobody is coming to save you. You are not the princess sitting in an ivory tower waiting for the handsome knight to save you. You are the knight, YOU'RE the one who needs to save the princess.

Now let's talk solutions.

1. The world is not fair. So what are you going to do about it? There are 2 paths you can take.
   1. Path 1. Give up. Keep blaming the world. Keep blaming your short height, your looks, your ballooning weight, your small penis size, your circumstances. Keep drowning yourself in the sodas, the videogame / porn addiction, whatever addictive behaviors you have developed to (temporarily) escape from reality.
   2. Path 2. Fight. Face the reality and fight to change your destiny. Dealt a shitty hand by the world? The only way to change that is by fighting for yourself. Hit the gym. Hard. Prepare diligently for a career that pays the bills. Develop charisma rather than resigning yourself to thinking charisma is something you are born with or you're not. Hate your voice? Record it, analyze what you hate about it, and change how you deliver your words. Will doing all this change your destiny? I'll be real with you, there's a chance that no, this will not change your destiny. But there is also a chance that it will. Fighting for yourself gives you a CHANCE to change your future, while giving up GUARANTEES that nothing will change.
2. Self improvement is not fun. Let's talk about this.
   1. Do you need motivation to play your videogames, binge-watch your TV shows, or engage in other fun stuff? No. You don't need somebody to kick your ass to do all those things. You do it on your own initiative. Why? Because those things are fun. And because those things are fun, you do them more and more and you get better at it. So you actually have the ability to improve at things, you are just wasting your time on the fun addictive behaviors.
   2. So why do you turn into a philosopher and debate about whether or not you should work out to improve your physique and health, or whether or not you should go for that career? Because it's not fun. When things are not fun, we turn into Socrates or Plato, thinking and debating and making excuses rather than just getting up and doing it.
   3. My workout routine is 40 minutes on weekdays, 75 minutes on weekends. But in truth there's always 30 minutes where I just stare at my exercise equipment thinking "I don't want to do this, man." And I don't. Because a lot of times, working out is just not fun. But eventually I kill the excuses before my excuses kill me. And then I workout, and all is better in the world.
   4. Let's go back to videogames. The more you play, the better you get at videogames. This lesson applies to everything in life. THE MORE YOU DO SOMETHING, THE BETTER YOU GET AT IT. In other words, life is like a videogame in the sense that you level up various skills the more you invest into them. So invest in the "unfun" things like exercise, your charisma, and various skills that will land you a higher promotion / higher salary. Apply your "Just do it" philosophy that you have for your addictive habits to these unfun things because these things are what actually help you grow. Think less. Do more.
3. Nobody is coming to save you.
   1. In movies we see the main character go through hell and back to save the world. THEY have to be the ones to slay that dragon that will destroy the world. Nobody is coming to save them. The destiny of the world is in their hands, whether they asked for it or not.
   2. In the movie that is your life, YOU are the main character. The dragon is coming. Nobody is coming to save you. So what are you going to do about it?

My buddy and I had a glitch while playing FTK. We had just gotten the balloon and we're heading to the tower with the intent on picking up a sanctum on the way. We got the sanctum and we're on our way, but only on my screen. Turns out even though I had gotten back in the balloon, launched and moved- it didn't do that on his(host) screen. It showed me just running around on foot for him and he started following me really confused. At that point it showed us in the balloon and it was just moving around as normal for me, but in an odd pattern. To fix this, we exited and restarted. Turns out it was correct on his screen and when we went back into the game, we were on the ground and the balloon was in the air...

She takes the baby sea lion to the oasis and puts it in the scared water and tries to pray to ocean and moon spirit to heal her.. she hears the whispers "heal" and follows the instruction and uses healing ability to heal the sea lion and it helps.. her friends witness this and they tell their elders about this. Everyone realizes that yue is blessed with special healing abilities, and only she can heal something serious in the scared oasis hence she is hailed as the priestess of the northern water tribe.
We cut to the present and we see her walking with sokka in the hallways of the town hall talking about stuff like how she feels connection to every waterbender and how the full moon makes her feel more alive than ever.. she talks about mystical stuff such as spirits and spirit world and how some spirits are dangerous while some are essential for life. Sokka compliments her and tells her her blue eyes feels so bright and entrapping. As both come closer to each other surt falls on them.. sokka recognises the danger and says ' they will be here soon'.
We cut to katara secretly training in a cave with some young waterbenders.. they taught her some drills which strengthened her basics and she developed new techniques while she teaches them the moves she created on her own. Aang is there but he's busy amusing some of the children student and he's not a great waterbender himself. Katara shows concern to aang telling him he needs to learn and show some progress. Aang shows a worried look and agrees with her as they position themselves to began the training the snow falling outside the cave turns dark. Confused everyone steps out and sees the surt. while most of them are unaware, just like sokka katara recognises the incoming danger and takes aang back to agne quela. The chief gather everyone in the hall and tells them about the imminent war and asks for volunteers to enlist. Sokka stands up fast and moves forward to receive the mark of soldier while aang, katara and yue look with concern. Sokka tells them he needs to prove himself to be a real warrior and that will happen only when he tests himself in the battlefield. Aang and katara assures sokka he doesn't need to prove anything but he insists.
Scene cuts to fire nation navy ship scouting for any incoming danger in the fog and spots appa incoming, alerting the ship but it's no use as the trio of aang, sokka and katara easily defeat everyone and disable the ship and it's weapon, as they ride Appa out of it and reach the clear sky, they get the view or the entire fleet that's heading to the city.. they quickly retreat to the city and inform them, aang hopelessly falling on his knees and starts to profuesly apologise that he's sorry he's not prepared for this. The chief assures him his spirit along with ocean and moon spirit will ensure the victory of the tribe, no matter the cost.
Scene cuts to the ships of fire nation where Zhao discusses the attack plan with iroh. He tells him that the geographical challenges in invading the north pole are immense but they can be bypassed by using different ways of travel. Iroh looks with confusing so Zhao shows him the air balloon being prepared to which Iroh questions his motive. Zhao tells him in order to win this war he needs to disarm the water tribe, completely and it's entirely possible because there's only one entity in the world that carries the power of bending for all waterbender and it's the moon spirit. Iroh questions feasibility of this plan and how Zhao plans to find the spirit and kill and how killing it is possible. To which Zhao replies that he came across some scrolls that he found in the library that he found during his serving in desert and the guardian spirit went to spirit world so he scoured entire library looking for ways to weaken other nations but only found fire nation and water tribe weakness. He dismisses the fire nation weakness saying that it's important that information dies with him for the safety of fire nation but every full moon, the spirits dance in the reflections of sacred places. He reveals a dagger, which he retrieved from roku's temple that Roku has collected over his life. The dagger belonged to avatar kuruk and has special abilities to bypass any spiritual barrier and kill any spirit because it is made from the bone of a lion turtle. Kuruk crafted this weapon in order to fight the dark spirits and he needed a weapon that could kill any spirit without resistance. This worries Iroh and questions zhao's motives and the implications that would arise with the death of moon spirit. Zhao dismisses it but Iroh doesn't push his luck so he can join him and act when he needs to. The scene cuts to iron explaining zhao's plan to a masked soldier who unmasks himself to reveal an injured zuko who survived zhao's assassination attempt. Zuko feels alarmed by zhao's progress and informs Iroh that he'll leave the ships immediately and go to north pole as the ships get near. Iroh asks him his plan to which zuko gives vague answers, worrying Iroh.
Scene cuts to the wall of northern water tribe where there's dead silence and gust of winds blowing... The silence is unnerving but suddenly a fire ball appears through the fog and strikes the wall. The soldiers scatter with the attack but gather and try to contain the rain if fireball that is being sent by the catapults of the uncountable fire nation ships. Katara helps anyone she can and approaches pakku. She tells him that there's need for every pair of hands in order for them to defend their home, he can carry on with his traditions later but now it is not the time to be stubborn. Yagoda agrees with and tells her while a fireball heads their way, katara, yagoda and bunch of female waterbenders stop it from impacting and freezing it in towering ice. Pakku realises their potential and positions them at exposed point in order for them to stop further damage from the fireballs. Aang also tries to stop the damage but it's too much yet he helps other soldiers retreive. The chief tells yue that there are soldiers that need immediate attention in the sacred pond and tasks sokka to guard her while she heals the gravely injured. They head to the pond and heal many of the soldiers who walk out of the oasis, as they leave and sokka and yue are about to head out they notice an air balloon descending towards the oasis. They hide in the bushes nearby and observe who is there and what they are trying to achieve. As aang is helping outside at the front, kuruk appears to him and informs him about the dagger presence, it's properties and how it can end the life of most powerful spirits and pleads him to go the sacred oasis where the most powerful spirits reside during events like full moon. Zhao looks around in the oasis reciting the words he read in the scroll about spirits. He sees two koi fishes circling each other, slightly glowing. He recognises the eternal dance and decides to kill the spirit. Iroh warns him that the spirits are something that should not be trifled with and threatens him force if he proceeds with his actions. While Aang heads for the oasis through kuruk's temple, zuko confronts him and asks him to surrender and come with him. Katara asks Aang to go ahead and stop Zhao while she takes on zuko. They both fight with their best but with katara sharpening her skills and catching zuko by surprises, she easily overpowers him after several bouts. Aang also arrives and tells Zhao how spirits are important for everyone, even fire nation. The spiritual balance needs to be maintained in order for life on earth to survive, without it everything will fall apart. Zhao steps back from the pond but at everyone's surprise jumps in with the dagger and stabs the moon spirit, turning everything grey and moonlight vanishing from sky. Yue faints and aang feels striking pain in his head as he senses the loss of balance. Iroh strikes Zhao several times but Zhao manages to escape. Iroh runs behind him while looking at yue and telling her you have unique life in you. Aang gets flashbacks of air temple, kyoshi's harsh words and kuruk's word about how he should walk alone on this path and there needs to be certain sacrifice in order to achieve the results. During all this, aang hears some somber chants. Those chants were something knew but very familiar to him. He senses the chants coming from the pond. The chant is "Na Mo A Mi Tuo Fo Shin Di" which translates to "I bow to infinite light". It's a chant that is used by spirits when they are in danger or need of help towards the avatar spirit. As aang moves closer to the pond the chant intensifies. Yue expresses her despair and how everything is destroyed and it's over, simultaneously aang enters avatar state and with thousands voices says "no, it's not over". Aang walks into the pond and stands near the ocean spirit which circles aang, starting a ritual of combining their power. Aang dips into the ocean and emerges as koizilla. This prompts the water tribe citizens to bow to their diety immediately and koi zilla recognises the fire nation forces and starts to wipe them out of the city.
As Zhao runs through the streets of ange quela, he is confronted by zuko who duels him in order to avenge assassination attempt. Zuko eventually overpowers Zhao and questions why he did it to which Zhao reveals he knows about his blue spirit identity thanks to his sister. He goes further and tells him that his father and sister think of you as a failure and your father used you to push your sister to new heights and now she's more powerful than ever. Zuko walks away in shame and sadness after hearing this. Seeing the opportunity Zhao tries to take a cheap shot at him but is immediately torched by Iroh and drops into the water channel that has glow of ocean spirit. Aang in koizilla wrecks havoc on fire nation fleet amid their constant attacks through the catalputs but he overpowers them and sends a wave huge enough to ruin the fleet. Katara tries to speak to aang and talk him out of this destruction but aang's sense of worldly concern is gone and he intends to help the spirit until they are at peace and balance.
We cut to oasis and sokka talks about the possibility of bringing back the moon spirit to which yue has flashbacks to how she was so extraordinary, and she finally accepts the fact that she needs to repay the debt. She gives sokka a kiss and while sokka is not looking she freezes his feet in order to immobilize him. She walks into the oasis pond and picks up the dead koi fish, while sokka pleads her not to and using her healing power with her spirit's concentration and disappears into the strong light, which after few seconds goes away and the moon spirit has returned in form of the koi fish. Sokka watches yue disappear like that and cries in loss. The moon appears back into the sky and grabs aang and the koizilla's attention. Katara tells aang how important he is to her and how aang is still needed by everyone. She tells him that he might have lost a family but also gained one in form of her and sokka. This convinces aang to stop his rampage as the balance has been restored and he is retreated back to the shore by the ocean spirit into katara's arms. The sun rises and everyone begins to face the aftermath of war by removing the debris, helping the injured and securing the corpses of the fallen. Aang looks at the mayhem and destruction and blames himself from not stopping it. Katara tries to comfort him by telling him the bad actions of other people is not your fault, but he tells her it's his job to stop them and flies away on his glider. later, a funeral ceremony is held. The chief thanks the Martrys and the injured for their courage and sacrifice and how their valiant effort stopped the fire nation. He pays respect to yue for restoring balance and speaks how proud he is of her sacrifice. Pakku also announces that some traditions are outdated, and they need to change like water. He announced that women will no longer be prohibited from learning waterbending combat and everyone is free to learn what they want to. Chief ends the speech with saying there have been losses but we always move forward from these because it's our nature to adapt and overcome difficulties and losses. Aang realizes that loss of life is part of the cycle of life and he cannot prevent everything but he can always try. He remembers gyatso's words about letting go. Sokka and the chief share the conversation of how yue was so courageous and how they feel after her leaving them in this world . Pakku tells katara how she reminded him of their core values and she's a commendable warrior and a bender. After the ceremony ends aang tells katara and sokka how he feels he needs to move forward and be the avatar the world needs. Katara expresses happiness while sokka shows sarcasm and tells him he's hungry and offers them to join in for the food and katara taunts his need to eat everytime.
We cut to omashu being heavily damaged and fire nation soldiers walking in. We see a shot of bumi being captured and trapped into metal casings to prevent him from bending. A warrior with face masks walks up to him and removes it.. revealing it was azula who has invaded omashu.
Episode ends with the fire nation sages revealing to Ozai model have developed to predict sozin's comet and informs him that it's arriving soon.

YOU DON'T KNOW JACK MOVIES

Hi, it's Stads again covering OU usage trends in April 2024. This is some form of a follow-up to my post last month here (https://www.reddit.com/stunfisk/comments/1bw1732/ou_usage_trends_march_2024/), where I discussed the 5 pokemon with the greatest usage differential between the general population elo bracket and the 1825+ elo bracket in the March 2024 stats. For this month, the stats are sourced from https://www.smogon.com/stats/2024-04/ . This time, I'll cover both the top 5 increases in usage and the top 5 decreases in usage between the two brackets. Let's start off with the increases!

1. Zamazenta (9.79% vs 23.87%, +14.09%)

Zama just keeps taking off in usage, climbing to 2nd overall in usage in the 1825+ bracket and dethroning the elephant last month. Like last month, I suspect Zama is simply an extremely solid pokemon that both checks and fits well into offensive structures. Month-over-month, I see that a novel spread of Impish 16/0/216/0/40/236 has taken over the 1825+ elo bracket this month, albeit only a small plurality at 12.142%. This spread makes it quite a bit more physically bulky while speed creeping Roaring Moon, a key opposing mon for Zama to check. However, this is at the cost of no longer outspeeding key threats like Weavile, Darkrai, and +1 Dragonite. There's been some shifting in which moves Zama is running as well, with Crunch becoming slightly less mandatory, Roar and Heavy Slam becoming more popular, and Substitute falling off quite a bit. I suspect the very standard Sub IronPress Zama simply has been adequately adapted to, and these shifts reflect Zama adjusting to deal with opposing setup sweepers and fairies a bit better.

2. Kingambit (24.50% vs 36.72%, +12.22%)

Another repeat performer, Kingambit continues to be a popular pokemon in all elo brackets but especially the 1825+ region. While most of SV OU continues to adapt and proliferate new strategies, Kingambit seems to be a more locked-in constant, with no new sets, spreads, or moves especially rising in popularity. Leftovers, Black Glasses, and Air Balloon continue to be the main trifecta of used items, and while most sets seem to be Adamant and investing in bulk, running Jolly and max speed retains a solid niche. It remains to be seen if anything can really knock Kingambit from its perch in the coming months, or if we've reached a stable equilibrium.

3. Glimmora (12.23% vs 20.26%, +8.03%)

Finally, a new face! The favoured lead for many Hyper Offensive teams in SV OU since the beginning, Glimmora had a great month in April, coming in at 6th in usage in the 1825+ bracket. Month-over-month, Glimmora has remained markedly stable in how it's used, but the 1825+ bracket loves Red Card quite a bit more, at 41.295% compared to to 15.172% in the general population. I suspect this is because Red Card can be tricky to use, requiring some prediction to be best used in displacing an opposing setup sweeper while switching into an attack that won't OHKO Glimmora. I wonder if much of this usage was pre-Volcarona ban, with how reliably Glimmora could take a fire-type attack from the moth and get rid of all its terrifying boosts. I'm a little surprised that Glimmora has thrived with the emergence of Fast Taunt Landorus-Therian with Earth Power, but perhaps Hyper Offensive teams have simply adapted and are now finding other leads that can adequately threaten Lando.

4. Roaring Moon (13.17% vs 21.04%, +7.87%)

Salamence's prehistoric cousin has been terrifying since it was unbanned with the advent of DLC2, but it continues to really come into its own. A ludicrously strong Knock Off can not only be leveraged to sweep teams but also break open cores for teammates to later abuse, and its typing and natural bulk gives Roaring Moon the ability to often find openings against mons like Gholdengo and Gliscor. Everyone agrees that Roaring Moon runs Booster Energy, Dragon Dance, Knock Off, and Acrobatics (with tera flying), but while the general population seems to enjoy Earthquake and then Taunt for that last moveslot, the 1825+ bracket has a mild preference for Taunt, with Brick Break narrowly edging Earthquake as the runner-up. I'm not positive whether this is more of a niche tool against screens or just the best option available against the ubiquitous Kingambit, but it's an interesting development that's only really taken off this month. As an aside, I'm quite surprised that Tera Flying + Acrobatics has persisted as not only the premier tera option for Roaring Moon, but realistically, the only option. Flying is an extremely good offensive type with few fat electrics around, but I'm a bit surprised that no specialized counter-teras have developed for Moon to beat some of its established checks such as Weavile and Dondozo.

5. Clefable (5.63% vs 13.32%, +7.69%)

This one did surprise me. While the happy pink blob (no, the other one) continues to fly largely under the radar amongst the general population, it's experiencing a breakout in the 1825+ bracket. I suspect this is because post-Volcarona ban, the metagame has gotten slightly fatter despite the presence of Waterpon and Kyurem, and Clefable fits excellently into many fat structures. Magic Guard is an amazing ability always, but especially in a hazard meta, and also makes Clefable one of SV OU's two premier knock absorbers alongside Gliscor. The support movepool is just as good as ever with Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, Knock Off, Wish healer, and Calm Mind wincons all quite viable. Magic Guard and the prevalence of booster energy also makes Clefable an excellent user of Sticky Barb, which can attach itself to mons post-booster like Great Tusk and Roaring Moon, easily dooming their sweeps. The general population acknowledges this set with 13.93% Sticky Barb usage, but the 1825+ bracket expects it, with Sticky Barb as the #1 used item at 43.833%. The general population also seems to enjoy specially defensive Clefable sets quite a bit more - perhaps to better deal with Kyurem, albeit in a very risky way - while the 1825+ bracket leans into the Sticky Barb with physically defensive sets being ubiqutious. While Clefable has exploded in popularity, it does seem to be only on balance and fatter team comps, with its most common teammates being Gliscor (completing the knock absorption perimeter), Corviknight, Dragapult, Great Tusk, and Dondozo. If Clefable gets more usage on offensive teams, it'll truly be a sign that the SV OU meta has at long last started to slow down.
I'll also go over the 5 pokemon with the greatest usage drop between the general population and 1825+ bracket. If you see your favourites here, don't necessarily worry - they may still have realistic niches to fill on OU teams! But it is still good to analyze why certain pokemon will be favoured or disfavoured in certain environments.

1. Serperior (6.58% vs 1.44%, -5.14)

This is hardly a surprise anymore. While Serperior will have a certain floor of usage due to it's status as a starter pokemon and the allure of the Contrary + Leaf Storm combo, it's simply too pidgeonholed to exist much in the 1825+ bracket. Tera Blast is used around 60% in both environments, though I'm very curious if they tend to use the same tera type or if there's some difference. The slight boon of having a great matchup into Webs has also faded a bit as that playstyle has fallen off slightly, and with Rillaboom, Waterpon, and Grasspon providing plenty of grass-type attacking prowess, it seems unlikely Serperior will find a niche even with the exit of Volcarona. The real discussion is how Serperior will fare in UU come the June tier shifts, with many great answers such as Hydrapple and Tornadus-Therian seemingly poised to handle it.

2. Corviknight (10.69% vs 6.00%, -4.69%)

I'm not 100% sure why Corviknight remains popular amongst the general population while sliding in the 1825+ tier. It might be due to Lando-T taking its spot as a pivot, it might be because it simply doesn't wall things as hard as it wants to. Mirror Armor has a sizeable fanbase among the general population at 32.949%, but the 1825+ bracket practically ignores it at just 3.263% usage. In both environments, Corv is very predominantly physically defensive to better deal with threats such as Kingambit, SD Gliscor, and Roaring Moon. One absurd data point - Roost only has 90.999% usage in the general population. Is this a typo? Are there really 9% of people who don't use Roost on Corvinkight? I imagine even cheesy sets like Bulk Up + Power Trip would be running Roost. I have absolutely no idea what's going on here, and I suspect that looking too far into it will only induce madness.

3. Torkoal (6.91% vs 2.50%, -4.41%)

Torkoal is generally used to provide sunlight for Sun teams, but is rarely also run on trick room teams with Choice Specs to nuke everything with Eruption. Sun, among other 'gimmicky' Hyper Offense styles such as Webs, Trick Room, and other weathers, tend to be a bit less reliable up in the 1825+ bracket where teams are more sturdily built and nuking everything with force generally won't go quite as far. So it checks out that everyone's favourite sun turtle would get a bit more usage amongst the general population.

4. Cinderace (9.82% vs 6.13%, -3.70%)

Cinderace getting less usage in the 1825+ bracket represents the continuation of a philosophical shift to the hazard subgame. Hazards have been very difficult to remove conventionally this entire generation due to Gholdengo blocking most forms of removal. This means that previously, Cinderace having unblockable psuedo-removal in Court Change was an excellent workaround. Now however, offensive teams generally prefer to have their own hazards up and simply try to limit how many hazards get set up on their side of the field with tools like Fast Taunt Lando as well as the popularity of Glimmora and its Mortal Spin. I expect the general population will gradually catch up to this trend over time, though with Cinderace being a starter - and one banned in previous generations at that - it likely has a bit higher floor of usage than it would in a vacuum. I also note that the 1825+ bracket seems to try Blaze Cinderace a bit more, 26.526% vs 16.816%, with Blaze taking Pyro Ball from a very good attack to one that can really dent even bulkier mons.

5. Garchomp (4.18% vs 0.81%, -3.38%)

Another Pokemon whose general popularity is probably carrying it to decent usage among the general population, while the 1825+ bracket has moved on. It's slightly strange to me that SD + Scale Shot Garchomp sets have been completely absent from the meta, but perhaps that niche is simply not compelling enough with Roaring Moon, Gouging Fire, Kyurem, and even Haxorus as physically-attacking Dragon-type alternatives. What usage Chomp does get in 1825+ seems to be confined entirely to defensive hazard sets, with Rocky Helmet, Dragon Tail, and at least 1 hazard. But even in this use case, it's hard to find a real niche when Ting-Lu, Deoxys-Speed, Glimmora, and other great offensive hazard setters exist. I won't go so far as to say it's completely Garchover, but it may take a large meta shift on the back of a ban or two for Garchomp to find true OU usage again.

I thought i was understanding the plot until they went to space and went right back to the sea?? And why would they deploy a decoy balloon just to not move away from it? It feels like this show runs on dream logic sometimes.
TLDR: I get the overarching conflict, but don't understand the individual reasons for what they're doing in each plot beat (e.g. why did they go to space for one fight). I like the Soulsborne approach the show has of expecting you to pick up on things, but I'm only managing that for the wider scope
From my understanding, the Army is breaking the Capital Territory's theocratic rules against tech development, and gradually gaining power over the civilian tower Guard. The moon Raraiya's from makes photon batteries that the Territory monopolies per the taboo, so Ameria's privateer wing (Pirate Corps) fights back when the Army attacks. The Army keeps attacking partially to rescue Bellri, who is staying with the Pirates because he wants the Princess and out of guilt.
But why are the Pirates doing what they do between each fight??? They just keep going from battle to battle (same problem i had with Zeta's first half) and I just wish someone would clearly state why they're doing it. There are way too many (albeit, gorgeously animated) fights compared to scenes of politicking or discussion, so I have no clue why things are happening outside of the backstory mentioned above.
Am I just not picking up on things? Or does this show stay frustrating. Aaaaagh I just wanted a character-driven political thriller with mech battles, not an avant-garde no-exposition dream logic experiment (which is admittedly unique).

1. Knight, I get that everyone says oh he’s meant for a tank, well I think it’s too much for too little, he’s 3 elixir and at lvl 11 he can tank two lvl 14 prince dashes +2 hits, plus at level 15 his damage is over the top for such a low cost. Nerf: Less damage, more elixir, or less health, maybe even lower attack speed
2. Valkyrie again too much health, play a Valkyrie and a knight and wizard and you have a full push, it is one more elixir than the knight and is slightly less counterable but still extremely annoying. Nerf: Lower attack speed, maybe a bit less health, I think the card is fine for what it is but a level 14 Valkyrie shouldn’t win against a level 14 prince
3. Firecracker, the only time fire cracker dashes backwards is to avoid spells, and not to mention a level 13 firecracker can take a level 14 log, and a hit from a level 14 ebarb, also damage is pretty high but I get it and I’m fine with that. Nerf: definitely less health, maybe no dash backwards, maybe even less damage?
4. Mega knight, I know the moment I mention it a ton of mega knight players are gonna rush to defend it, but it honestly is a brain dead card that is used for nearly everything. I can literally call when someone is going to play a mega knight because of how common it is. It has over the top health and at level 14 the jump does 900 damage and still does around 450 damage a hit but it is 7 elixir so it’s a bit less annoying than the other 3 elixir super cards. Nerf: I don’t know, less health I think the damage is fine but annoying
5. Goblin barrel, basically free damage, and most of the people who run it either have a cycle so it out cycles your spells or they save it until the end and you don’t have a counter, especially at a higher level, when it does around 800 damage for the 3 goblins. Nerf: Lower attack speed for the goblins from the barrel only, also I know it’s small but maybe a sign of where they will land because I always guess wrong when they will be in front of or behind the tower, all around the tower is a bit op too
6. Electro giant is basically unbeatable, it will always do damage to something and most people don’t run counters for it, which is large range units such as sparky or something, inferno dragon in some cases, Nerf: I’m not sure how to nerf it, I guess a health drop, maybe the zaps from damage reflect don’t actually stun the unit, but do more damage instead
7. Hog rider isn’t a good or bad card, but the health is too much for how much tower damage it has, I mean the tower can’t even kill it alone, I know some other 4 elixir cards also can take tower alone but it’s almost a guaranteed hit without a swarm or tower troop Nerf: Less health, damage is fine, hog cycle means your trophies or rank means nothing. 8: Balloon, I’m fine with it as a card but Nerf: drop the attack rate or damage, and make it so it doesn’t do instant tower damage the moment it connects, not gonna mention lumberloon because it has gotten progressively worse over the years. 9: Freeze, I’m not complaining too much about it Nerf: Maybe one second or so less freeze time would be good 10: Rage, not sure why it does damage now Nerf: Less rage on units or less damage I guess Uhh, that’s about it lmk if there’s any others

Along with the budget and other annual articles set to come before voters at Charlemont’s May 28 Town Meeting, residents will also be asked to consider some minor revisions to the town’s cell tower bylaws.
The Planning Board held a brief hearing — only two members of the public attended and neither had comments on the revisions — last week, as the town seeks to address small-cell installations and flesh out cellular facility application requirements.
“We’re just adding the small cell amplifiers, should someone desire to put those in town,” explained Planning Board Chair Bob Nelson, adding that other than that, the board is just “making minor changes,” including changing the terminology to refer to the projects as “personal wireless service facilities.”
The revised bylaw gives the Planning Board authority to “deny some or all” proposed individual small cell sites “given that each location will have unique impacts on the town” in the event of a single application for multiple small cell installations.
As for application requirements, the revised bylaw states applicants must provide a description of “technical, economic and other reasons for the proposed location, height and design,” as well as the name of the wireless carrier that will use the tower. Applicants would also be required to conduct a balloon or crane visibility test 30 days before the public hearing, while also having an insurance policy through the life of the permit.
The revised bylaws will come before voters at Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, May 28, at 6 p.m. at Hawlemont Regional School. The five pages of proposed revisions can be reviewed at:
