VAPE REGULATIONS 2024
Feeling uncertain about the 2024 vape laws and regulations? You’re not alone. We’re also navigating through some unclear aspects of the proposed regulations, but here’s what I know so far.
This post aims to provide you with the latest information on the 2024 vape regulations, along with articles for more details.We strive to keep you updated. If you’ve subscribed to my email list, I’ll notify you of any major changes to the store.
UNCHANGED REGULATIONS These regulations will remain the same: - You must be at least 18 to purchase any vape product. - A prescription is required to buy nicotine vaping products. - Selling pre-filled disposable vapes with nicotine is illegal in Australia except through pharmacies.
VAPE REGULATION CHANGES The proposed 2024 vaping regulations, introduced in late 2023, include the following changes (as I understand them).
FROM JANUARY 1: - Ban on importing disposable vapes (pre-filled and single-use). Individuals cannot import disposable vapes, but businesses can if they hold a license and permit from the Office of Drug Control (ODC). - We can continue selling nicotine-free disposable vapes we have in stock after January 1, but cannot import more. These vapes are always nicotine-free; safety reports are available upon request. - All doctors or nurse practitioners can now prescribe nicotine vaping products without needing approval from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). It's at their discretion to provide these prescriptions.
FROM MARCH 1:

• Ban on importing all vape products, including e-liquid (with or without nicotine) and hardware, by individuals, even with a prescription. Businesses will need a license and permit from ODC to import and must notify TGA of each product's compliance with their standards (see the current list of notified vapes).
  
• Vape stores can continue selling the nicotine-free vaping products they have in stock after March 1, but cannot import more without the necessary license/permit and TGA notification. It's uncertain how long this will be allowed.
  
• Imported vape products from March 1 must meet new device and e-liquid standards and only be sold in pharmacies with a prescription.
  
• All vape products will be classified as therapeutic products for smoking cessation or nicotine dependence management (formerly classified as smoke products under the same laws as cigarettes).
  
• The personal importation scheme will end, prohibiting individuals from ordering nicotine or nicotine vape products from overseas, even with a prescription.- New device and e-liquid standards set by TGA.
  
• Limits on flavours to mint, menthol, and tobacco for vape products imported after March 1.
  
• Existing vape businesses wishing to stay in the industry will need an import license and permit to supply pharmacies.
  

AFTER MARCH 1: The Therapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Vaping Reforms) Bill 2024, introduced to parliament on March 21 by the Minister for Health and Aged Care, needs to pass through Parliament to enforce the following:

• Retail vape sales ban starting July 1, prohibiting tobacconists, vape stores, and convenience stores from selling non-therapeutic vapes.
  
• Ban on importing, manufacturing, supplying, and commercially possessing disposable, single-use vapes and non-therapeutic vapes. If the bill passes, illegal vape manufacturers and suppliers could face fines up to $2.2 million and seven years of jail time.
  
• Additional penalties for importing, manufacturing, supplying, advertising, or possessing vaping products contrary to regulations/law, including fines and prison time.
  
• If this bill passes through Parliament, vape stores will have to close to the public from July 1.
  

BILL PROGRESS
The Vaping Reforms Bill was debated in Parliament on March 27, with many Ministers expressing support or opposition. The bill was referred to a Senate Committee of Inquiry to determine if Australia should proceed with the proposed bill and prescription-only model or move towards regulating vapes like cigarettes.
The committee received around 300 public submissions and held two public hearings, calling witnesses from those who submitted feedback.The Senate Inquiry Report was published on May 8:

• The majority recommended passing the bill.
  
• National Party Senators published a 'Dissenting Report,' opposing the bill and recommending regulation similar to tobacco products.
  
• The bill must now be voted on by Senators in the June parliamentary sessions.
  
• Dr. Colin Mendelsohn's recent blog post detailed each politcal party's positions on the bill and the next steps that will determine its future. The National party opposes it, the greens wish to amend it, some independents will vote against it and the labor party supports the bill. (Summarising his opinion: it's currently about 50/50 in support or opposition of the Reforms Bill. Also stating he is cautiously optimistic. This may be determined by political back door deals and then if not, the greens will likely decide the result).

In the battle for conference supremacy and amidst the arms race of the 2 remaining power conferences it’s become clear there are several properties everyone knows about that are being targeted. Crown jewel Notre Dame. Basketball power houses that are sleeping football giants in Duke and North Carolina. Blue Blood national powers Florida State and Clemson. Oil money drenched Houston. There are even small schools in big TV markets like UNLV, San Diego State, San Jose State, FIU and Syracuse.
But arguably the 2 most important are Tulane and Georgia Tech. They are the keys into the SEC’s lucrative recruiting territory and the SEC can’t afford to have their fertile recruiting grounds breached by the Big Ten.
Georgia and Louisiana are along with California, Texas and Florida the top 5 states for high school football talent. The Big Ten got into California something the SEC has not. Access to Texas and Florida doesn’t matter much as they are the most plundered states.
But Louisiana and Georgia are locked down. Teams like Alabama, Texas, USC, Ohio State and Michigan haven’t been able to go into Georgia and Louisiana and pull those blue chip guys from Kirby and BK.
But if the Big Ten gets Tulane and GT Louisiana and Georgia kids will be more likely to jump to OSU, Michigan, Oregon and USC. And the SEC’s southeastern wall would be compromised.

I'm just burnt out. I've been a pharmacy technician for about 11 years now. 6.5 in retail and 3.5 years in hospital. I worked at one of the busiest stores in my state (4k scripts a week on average) and a Mid sized hospital that seems to be understaffed somewhat since I got there. I went through the Opioid Crisis at retail until Covid, then hit Hospital around the time Covid was really hitting the beds. I just feel... depressed and tired going to work. I'm not completely sure why because... Here's the kicker for me.
It's not a hard job really.
I stock the Omnicells with Controls, IV's and Non-Controlled meds on large fills all day. My position mostly just fills cabinets. I don't take phone calls really. I may fix the printers or any jams from time to time, or if I'm pulling and a code blue happens rush to get a tray and the RSI box, but... that's it. I mostly listen to Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Music while I stock. Mentally it's easy, but it's starting to take a toll on my knees and feet. Best part? It's 7 on 7 off. This is one of those jobs guys would love to do. Yeah, you lift a cart with 200lbs on it and shuffle to the side, but it's not all that bad if you're a guy.
It's just that... I'm just tired of it. After 11 years I kind of just wanna walk away on my own terms. I never wanted to be a Pharm Tech, my family was just worried I would not be able to pay back my student loans. I got a BFA in what I loved, but was never able to put it to use and make money, so this was the backup. They told me to just pay off the loans and I did... Then, I needed a new vehicle, so I bought one used that was a heck of a deal with low mileage and paid that off fast, and now... I'm just stacking cash and saving for retirement while also getting some training done.
I'm grateful that this paid for my schooling, allowed me to buy some gear for the new venture, and was stretching me as a person... but I think it also caused me to form a bad habit of stress eating, and is more than responsible for some of the anxiety and depression I've experienced. There are times where I just don't find fun in things anymore, and some weeks off I get really mopey. As a matter of fact, the day before I'm dreading work and look back on the week thinking, "Man... I wasted a day and could have done more if I didn't dread work." The issue I have is that the first day I'm back I'm doing a ton and catching up, and I feel the entire time I don't really wanna be there. My Co-Workers are not bad at all. Some of my colleagues may be a little lazy, and some cause drama, but I usually put that behind me and just do my work. I talked to a few and they don't want me to go, but... I'm just burnt out at this point? I don't know.
Part of me feels guilty leaving, another part feels bad for no longer wanting to do a job someone would kill for in retail, and part of me thinks I'm just being lazy. I'll say from day one though, I never wanted to be a Pharmacy Technician, and working at the busiest one took a lot of perspective turning and reflection to just get through. I kept telling myself: "Just get through it, you can do this, don't let the mean customers get to you, you do this you can do anything!" And now... I'm just blah. Granted, I just finished a shift.
Think I might look into their therapy stuff and possible career counseling. I don't want to leave these guys high and dry. I want to get someone trained up before I leave, but they say it's gunna take a few months. I think I can go until the end of the year, but.. It's been a slog.

In my latest deep dive, I've unpacked the ins and outs of using proxies to dodge those annoying scraping blocks. If you've ever found yourself getting flagged or blocked while trying to collect data, you know how frustrating it can be. Enter proxies, the unsung heroes of the web scraping world.
Basically, a proxy is your digital stunt double. It steps in between you and the server you're trying to scrape, masking your real IP address under the guise of anonymity. This little bit of trickery is super useful because it keeps your scraping activities under the radar.
When it comes to choosing the right type of proxy, the landscape's pretty varied. You've got your transparent, anonymous, and high-anonymity proxies, which all offer different levels of, well, anonymity. And then there's the whole debate between data center proxies, ISP proxies, residential proxies, and the elusive mobile proxies. Speaking from experience, mobile proxies are gold for web scraping. They're tough for sites to block since they run on networks where IPs are shared among heaps of devices.
Now, I know there’s temptation to go for free proxies (because who doesn't love free stuff, right?), but from what I've seen, paying for commercial proxy services is the way to go. They're just way more reliable, and when you're knee-deep in data collection, the last thing you need is a flaky proxy.

Here is one for you all and its a long one. 44M here, been with my significant other for ~20 years, married for 11 years. At this point I don't feel like we are going to make it much longer. I don't think she wants to be with me anymore but needs me for financial support so she is trying to string me along.
Background:
I want to say right off that I know I am not perfect, have never pretended to be nor have I overlooked my shortcomings and have done everything I can to address and deal with my issues.At first things were good. We did things together, went out, hung out with friends together, bowled leagues together, had a lot of fun. We also had a good, sex life. We were having cuddling times, regular sex, great foreplay, she was pretty open to positions and trying things.
When we first got together she was working miscellaneous retail jobs. She had a 4 year college degree at this point as well but never even tried to find a job utilizing it. I was fine with her working whatever made her happy. I work in IT/Tech. I have always been the higher earner, making almost double her salary up until a couple years ago. I never once said anything about this, never gave her crap for making less or the job she worked. I only encouraged her to find a job she enjoyed. I went years, never saying anything that might hurt her, even when I was working 50-60+ hours of work in a tough field at a job I hated while she worked maybe 20-30 hours a week in a super easy job of her choosing. After about 10 years of us being together she finally decided to go back to school for computer science. To support her doing this we lived in a couple places and worked jobs I absolutely hated to make sure she could finish school without any pressure. Again, I never said anything to her about this, I did it so she could be happy. She ended up finishing and getting an extremely good paying tech job after a few years, around the time that I noticed the biggest changes about her. Prior to her latest job and changes, we were OK for a few years. We starting doing well together as we were both earning well and have no kids.
Start of problems:
After we were married for a few years she started changing. She stopped wanting to do things together, we went out less and less. Stopped watching shows and movies together, stopped gaming together. She started treating sex like a burden, made me feel bad for even trying to initiate it. She became more of a prude, stopped wanting to do almost anything sexual, stopped wanting cuddling/petting, lost almost all interest in foreplay that wasn't directly for her, she lost all interest in any type of intimacy, cuddling, foreplay, or really anything that isn't about her getting off.
I feel that I have been extremely patient over the years about all of this. She has some back issues (self inflicted, she was having soreness and pain but continued a workout regimen that was obviously not right and causing issues. I have tried to be understanding and accommodating since she had these issues. Sex was never really a big issue, even with the back problems we had a decent sex life until the last 5 or so years. She started wanting to do less and it really felt like she was just trying to get it over with (outside of when I was pleasuring her and getting her off. Once that was done it was like hurry up and finish.
More recently, last couple of years she has had 0 interest in sex or even anything physical. I mean I can barely kiss her, cant touch her at all without some excuse that it tickles or some other BS. No cuddling as she says I always pressure for sex, BS, I love foreplay and am happy with mutual getting off. I have mentioned the lack of intimacy, mentioning that is had been months since we did anything and it is always some excuse or a suggestion it may happen this weekend (going on 20+ " this weekend" without anything) . She has almost every excuse in the book as to why she doesn't want to without really having a good reason. She will blame her back bugging her but will then do a lot of work that is physically punishing, especially to someone with back issues and despite the fact that I said I would do it or try to help. I have also gotten several different things to help, wedge pillow to help with her back, tried it once and had some random complaint that I forget. She had mentioned trying a swing so she could have support in different positions. I found several options and she then made excuses about all of them, the primary one being support for the swing. I eventually called her on this being BS when the new house we got had a chain mount in one of the bedrooms ( looked like it was possibly for a heavy punching bag) that would be perfect for a swing and I tested it holding my full weight. I again mentioned getting a swing to make things better to only get additional excuses.
Further Issues:
We had always talked about wanting to move back to California and get a house there when we had the chance. We had also talked about houses we would like and things like that. When we started seriously talking about getting a house, she said she would check with work ahead of time about being able to move to another state as we had discussed, she did not. I don't think she even talked to her boss about it. She just refused to move outside of this state as she said her job required her to be her even though her boss lives in a completely different country.
When the time actually came to find and buy a house it did not work out the way I guess I had expected. Eventually, we purchased a house here after several fights as she decided she wanted a cheaper house to fix up. Not even considering the amount of work and money it would take to do so. One of her "options" was a run down ranch house that had a surprise renter (9 months left on a lease) in a very obviously water damaged basement. She picked out this house so she continued to try to justify buying it for about 100k over what it should be sold for. After about a week of looking at shitty houses and fighting she finally agreed to look at one of the houses I had chosen, the house we eventually purchased. It was a bit more but had almost all of our wants without the need to fix it up.
For the purchase, she provided the down payment from her inheritance and jointly financed the house. Once the purchase was finished and we moved in she changed, a lot. Things became more about what she wanted, she would mention things to me but completely ignore any input and just talk like what she wanted is what I chose too. Her dad then decided to visit and this was the largest wake up call I think I have had. I saw him doing all of the things that she does that annoy and frustrate me. I then realized that if I stay with her, dealing with this is my future. He took over the house and she treated me like an asshole for just wanting a bit of space that I could have to myself. She refused to deal with him or reign in his behavior. I think it was around this time that I realized that it felt like I didn't even have a home even though we just bought one, that I was just a wallet to help pay bills.
We ended up having a fight about this and I ended up leaving and staying at a hotel for a few days. This is where it got really eye opening as I considered this fight as something we would think about and get over. However, the first thing she did was talk to her friend and then reach out to divorce lawyers. She mentioned that she was talking to them about post nuptials to make sure she got the house and money. This was a signal to me, that she did not consider nor seem to appreciate all of the years that I spent working jobs I hated to supplement our income and cover for her while she went back to school. All it seemed she saw was that she got money now so the house and all of it was hers. She made a comment about how she felt the money, stocks, and house were hers. She added that she wanted a post nuptial to define this so I shouldn't be surprised if I get one to sign. Unsurprisingly, she never actually got this done, never mentioned it more so I am assuming she just got lazy and never followed up. One thing that stood out to me was that she mentioned that she could not afford the house by herself. She rambled off several things about us just being roommates and me continuing to pay for the house and bills. She came up with something about me paying and her giving me money back later or something, I ignored most of it as it was dumb, I.E. me leaving my checks going into our shared account and continuing to pay like I have been but doing so knowing she plans on keeping the house and that I might get some money later if she ever sold it. She also made a comment that I did a good job with the stocks so I should keep doing that for her and she would give me like a 1k in a few years. Since I started working with the portfolio and diversified the stocks I have made over 40k in gains for it so yeah I ignored this as I felt like it was insulting. This whole fight and conversation hit me hard, especially after 15+ years of me working hard, shitty jobs, to provide for us just to get slapped in the face by greed.
We ended up talking a bit after that fight after I ended up stopping by the house. She had mentioned previously about going to marriage counseling. I told her I didn't think it would help with our situation considering what the issues were but if she was willing to go and actually participate, I would be too. We ended up seeing a marriage counselor as she had suggested it previously and I wanted to try everything to make this work. I had previously mentioned that I didn't think it would work as she refuses to open up or discuss her issues with anyone and if she wont do that, it is a moot point. She said she would so we found a counselor and we went for a couple of months. During this time I was very open about my thoughts and feelings and gave the counselor details on my issues. She however, did not provide anything ahead of time, participate much, would not open up, and eventually said that we might as well not go as she didn't feel like we were gaining anything.
Turning Point:
I think the f*ck it point, straw that broke the camels back for me is that about a month ago, around 10 months or so since we had any kind of intimacy we had a fight. During the fight she admitted that she actually masturbates fairly regularly which really, really pissed me off as she knows the lack of sex and any kinds of intimacy was a big issue for me and was causing a lot of frustration. I was quiet about it as what I would have said would have started a big fight. I am now struggling because I cant really get over the fact that she shows me no interest, wont let me touch her, we haven't had sex in months and she admits to masturbating instead of having sex with me when she knows I am extremely sexually frustrated. To me, this shows her lack of caring about me and shows that she only really cares about herself and what she wants. This is furthered by conversations with her family I have overheard because she talks super loud on the phone and I guess she didn't realize I could hear her in the other room. This last conversation was essentially her talking about the money again and additional money she may get when her dad passes. She made the comment to them that in hindsight she would have made me sign a prenup as all of the money she has gotten and will get belongs to their family and she wants to keep it in their family. This was another moment when I was like what the hell, I am not your family?
I am torn, I have been with her for a long time, I do care for her, but she shows no interest in being with me. No interest in a relationship, doesn't want to do things together (she even said that if I want her do more things with me I have to do things she wants to do first), nothing for how I feel, what I want, no cuddling, no touching, nothing. It came down to the fact that she essentially wants a roommate that pays for her to have the house, help with chores, and helps take care of the dogs without expecting anything in return. She does not seem to get how she is, care how I feel, what I want, or really care about anything that does not benefit her.
I am at my breaking point, I have tried for years to give her everything and now as thanks, I get nothing from her. I am getting to old to keep wasting time in a loveless, sexless relationship but am also having a hard time walking away from a relationship I have been in for so long. After writing this out I am also realizing, well more wondering, what the f*ck I am doing as it seems pretty obvious I am bailing water out of a sinking boat.

I recognize this is a wild ask, but it never hurts to see!
Someone I went to highschool with wound up in an accident in Alaska, her friend passed and she was critically injured, but somehow survived the 1000ft fall and the overnight to get to the hospital.
She's stable and improving at this point, but with all her injuries she is currently not able to sit upright for a full flight from Alaska to Grand Rapids, and would need to be reclined to 60% for the majority of the trip. She shouldn't require any medical support for the flight because of the clamshell brace she has to wear, commercial flights won't cut it.
They have been quoted mid 5 figures to 6 figures for the flight and insurance doesn't want to cover anything because "Alaska has medical facilities" but being nearly literally all the way across the country while my friend makes a recovery that will be at least a year long is a big ask, and being around friends and family will make the process much smoother.

I keep thinking about my experience in academia (Ph.D. and postdoc), an unsuccessful attempt to escape and how I dug my grave with my own hands.
I keep reading about recent developments in US biotech industry and its has been absolutely disheartening. The job market right now is awful and it has not bottomed out.
I cannot help, but thinking how did I arrive at this point and what could I have done to save myself???
I am speaking here about my experience in life sciences. I hope that the situation is better in other areas, but life sciences are absolutely over-saturated, over-flowing and under-paid area of STEM, probably along with chemistry.
Long time ago, after 1 year into the Ph.D. program, I got a weird feeling. I quietly approached people in the lab, with whom I was on friendly terms and they confirmed my worst expectations. Essentially, the unspoken (and un-communicated!!!) assumption was that after a year or so a Ph.D. student should show to the PI outstanding results, worthy of publication in "Nature", "Science" etc. Obviously, with no help, no guidance, no support. The PI did not want to tarnish his academic CV with publications in low- or medium-impact journals! So, if you could not show a potential for a publication in "Nature" (or similar journal), the PI would simply lose interest in you and "dis-own" you. This meant no support of any kind, no interest in your defense and no recommendation letter. Nothing! I saw this done to several people in our group. The PI tried (in some cases very successfully) to sabotage careers of his subordinates.
Remainder of my Ph.D. was absolute mental torture. I knew that without support of the PI I had not a single chance for academic career. Basically, academic career was dead for me. Every day I experienced a mental torture of senseless work. I knew that it was absolutely pointless to continue my Ph.D. The project was going nowhere. The PI lost all interest. By then I knew very well, how competitive and cutthroat was academia. I could have just sat in my office, collected stipend for another year or more and walked away. There was no point of doing anything. It was like digging a hole in the ground and then filling it back with same soil. Again and again and again! Every day! Coming to the lab, doing senseless work, knowing that it was all meaningless and continue doing it over and over -- just to have something to put in the thesis. This experience crippled me to the point that now I absolutely cannot stand any meaningless work.
I defended my Ph.D. and somehow got a postdoc in a shitty lab. 3 years of my postdoctoral experience could be described by one word: abuse! Constant lies, gaslighting, micromanagement, disrespect, threats, being underpaid, being overworked. I clearly remember that I cried because I did not have a courage to commit suicide.
I tried to seek on-line, on various forums advice on how to get out of this situation. To put it short, I was "trolled" and bullied by academics to the point of mental meltdown.
Recently I tried to find a career coach / mentor. Needless to say, my search was unsuccessful. There is no help out there! Sure, there are people that gladly will take your money in return to sugarcoated fluff. But that's it!
I have been thinking a lot about career coaching / career guidance. You know what? Absence of good advice / a lot of bad advice was, probably, a final "death blow" to my aspirations.
First of all, I did not understand how hiring works and no one explained it to me. It is not that there is a great mystery about hiring, it is that no one ever explained it to me. Secondly, I falsely believed that I could capitalize on Ph.D. itself and a set of so called "transferable skills". Lie! No one hires based on transferrable skills! Transferable skills == soft skills. If you have only transferable skills = soft skills, you can get a job of an admin assistant. Because you need good communication skills and critical thinking when scheduling meetings and taking minutes. But! If you have transferable skills and a Ph.D., you will NOT get a job of admin assistant, because you are "over-qualified".
I always knew that my Ph.D. in molecular biology was completely worthless! Yes, I had to learn every single method and protocol myself, without any help! Yes, I worked 60 hr and 80 hr weeks. But you cannot put this on resume and hope that HR will value it. Even today, years after I completed my Ph.D., I can explain every single methods and every single experiment that I did. Because I did everything on my own, without any help!!! I should be proud of myself, but I actually hate myself -- because I cannot sell it. Because market values "rock-stars", because market values what's trendy and what's in demand!
I was led astray by all this trash advice about "customizing your resume" and "highlighting transferrable skills". I have missed an opportunity of a lifetime!!! 5 or 6 years ago people, who attended coding bootcamps, could actually get a job as a programmer!!! Yes, not too long ago employers were actually scooping people, who completed coding bootcamps!!! That would have been my chance of getting the hell out of academia. I had a gut feeling that my Ph.D. was a complete waste of time, I suspected that I need to write-off Ph.D. as a loss and re-educate myself completely to have a chance! And I have missed an opportunity of a lifetime to learn how to code, to get into bootcamp, to get an entry-level coding job and move on from there. Now there are ongoing layoffs in tech and job market is flooded with junior coders. The gates are closed.
Instead, I wasted my time tinkering / customizing my resume and thinking how to sell "transferrable skills". Wrong, wrong, wrong! I do not think that anything like it will ever come again. When you can teach yourself, when you can get through the bootcamp and get into a field with good pay and career growth!!!
To all people out there: I cannot stress enough, watch out for bad advice!!! Look for a good advice -- its worth it's weight in gold!

Maybe that's why I never could focus. So I took up allied medicine and went for pharmacy from the top college. The truth, it was PATHETIC. The pay, the culture, the placements (there were none). Fyi 14 of my batchmates from school got into the best IITs on their first attempt. These are kids I was ahead of, all my life. It was a hard pill to swallow. But I chose to look forward.
Fast forward 5 years and I got into an MS program at Georgia Tech in the US for bioinformatics (a stream that needs maths and CS). Somehow I wasn't satisfied so I dropped that and sat for the MBA exams.
Now I'm headed to a top 10 college with close to a 30LPA avg salary with a 100% placement for the class and scored close to 99%ile in multiple MBA entrance exams.
If I sulked and continued to feel sad, I'd still be where I was. I published 4 international papers(one with 50+ citations), interned in the best labs, was the president of a national organisation, all while knowing full well I hate pharmacy and that I'm starting to have a disdain for the medical field at large.
Let this be a story for you. I remember being scared, I remember feeling helpless. But that doesn't mean your story ends there. Doesn't mean you need to give up. Work hard. Use the opportunity at hand as a stepping stone for greater things. YOU KIDDOS GOT THIS!🙌🏻

They changed the Wildrage aspect to give double the Bestial Rampage bonus to companions, which means if you keep both bonuses active, your companions get 60% attack speed and 100% damage multi.
Companions also have some pretty insane tempers. The wolf CDR resource temper can bring the CD of the active all the way down to around 5 seconds, which makes it super easy to move them around and have them do burst damage even when you aren't getting spirit boon resets. Getting around 50% wolf CDR makes their ai issues a lot less of a problem.
The storm companion pants actually aren't too bad either. They give a bunch of companion movespeed, which reduces their downtime pretty significantly. You also get a ton of skill ranks from them. The pants also change the active so that the wolves do a lightning teleport that does an aoe attack that is a lot more reliable than the basic wolf active. The pants roll %DR, which is basically non-existent outside of unique items now, so they're pretty good for durability.
The aspect that makes wolves into werewolves also gives them the werewolf tag in addition to giving them a massive damage multiplier. They don't get the shapeshifting modifier, however, so that's something to keep in mind. They also get the chain tag from the rabies part, which doesn't seem to do anything yet, but may have some interesting tech in the future.
I killed capstone Elias at level 55 in 6 seconds and had basically no trouble transitioning into WT4. Probably the smoothest Druid leveling experience I've ever had. I'm curious to see how far this build can go and the best ways to optimize it as I transition it into the late game.

Cast your minds back to the early 90s…Windows 3.1 had been released, but my employer (Royal Air Force) was slow on the uptake. Amiga, Megadrive and SNES ruled the gaming markets, DOS was the PC weapon of choice, TVs were heavy and the Faults Control (Tech Support) section at an RAF Air Defence site was heavy on people, but light on chairs.
The Mk10 RADAR display (you’re seeing the clues to the username), was a heavy, cumbersome CRT thing, but worked with the same principles of a TV - the signals sent to it are ‘beamed’ onto the screen. This includes the ‘blips’ you see in movies as well as the text attached to the blip and the circles telling you how far something is. Those circles are called ‘Range Rings’ and the important fact for later is that the display creates them. Also, RADAR screens don’t go beep at every target (sick of telling my brother).
Now that that’s flushed out, remember the world of the simple joke, …being sent for: Tartan paint, a Glass Hammer, a Long Stand, Sky Hooks…Range Rings.
Our hero of the story (not me this time), told me of the time when a particular airman was new to a particular Station in Norfolk. It’s a bit like Thunderbirds, the sides open and we get lowered so that only the RADAR Head is above ground” “Blimey” thinks our hero as the other leaves, chuckling to himself.
Minutes go by and then the Chief enters, introduces himself to the new bloke and decides it’s time to properly introduce him to work… “You see all of these displays? They’re faulty, keep giving the wrong distances. I need you to go to stores and get about 5 boxes of Range Rings” says the Chief.
Our hero contemplates and then reality dawns on him “Aaah you won’t get me that easily Chief, Stores is on the other side of camp and there’s no way I can get there when we’re 60 feet underground!”
