2024.05.17 10:54 Frequent-Sky-8301 I have so much anxiety over this

How fucked am I? A few years back I was stupid enough to try to make some money taking nudes. I was broke and desperate. Before this happened I had sent nudes but only on snap and never my face. I never wanted to include my face or do anything extreme but one guy pressured me and I was really stupid to send videos, and photos with ny face on them, nudes of course. He even pressured to talk on whatsapp instead of kik and I didnt even realise he could see my phone number? What now? Does he know my last name or where I live. Would he care. Im so scared he posts the pics online, I have done image researches but never found anything. Still Im scared my nudes pop up. I talked to him for a month and then stopped and blocked him because of the anxiety. Im furious I went so far. What can I do? And the best part is I didnt even get any money from him. Might know his name but I guess that wont help me.

2024.05.17 08:53 ProfessorOk489 How, where to learn & educate myself?

Hello, when I was a kid up to about 12, I used to speak to the dead. In my head. Like, full on conversations. Then I went through some trauma. Convinced myself it wasnt real & blocked it all out. I never heard anything again until one day I was driving past a crematorium and a voice popped in saying my step dad was going to die. My stepdad who at the time had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Straight away i shut myself down “why would you say that? Thats a terrible thing to say. Think happy thoughts” A few weeks later I was drawn to a medium for a reading, I wasnt looking for anything specific but I just had this gut feeling that I needed to get in contact. So i did. During the reading she spoke about the relationship I was in at the time, about my daughter that has sadly passed & other things, including how I have the gift and had it since I was 3 but I went through things & blocked it out 💀 She said I still have it, I just need to let them back in so to speak. I mentioned the thing with my stepdad and she said it was spirit. She said over this year, il start slowly allowing them back in and I wont need to “train” for it, they’ll just be there. Like a switch.
I said at the time I was very keen to learn more & she gave me a couple of videos to help me open up more. I did this & spirit came through. My daughter came through. I could feel the weight of her sitting on my lap. Holding my hands and stroking my face. I broke up with my partner not long after & my guides helped me process. Then I got distracted with uni work & I guess I just shut them out again. I also dream ALOT. And I can pick up on peoples energy.
My question though, is there any way I can really hone in on this? Practice, etc. I’m not really into tarot. Its just the voices - which makes me sound nuts! I dont see them either. Its just voices. Can anyone help?
Sorry its long & winded.

2024.05.17 08:46 Next_Preparation8728 How long

My man (49) and I (48) recently got back together after a long break where we both had other relationships that each of us (as far as I know) ended before we started talking again. His was with a “friend” who has been a big problem between us in the past. He said she was already totally out of his life, zero contact forever, with or without me in the picture. Glad he had already gotten to that point because having to deal with that situation in the past was not good for me. Yesterday I got curious and asked him if she’s really totally gone, no social media contacts, no shared activities, she isn’t going to be popping up at some random social event, and so on. Well… she’s still his fb friend. I asked him to explain that to me and instead he said he would just block her. So far, he hasn’t. I’m aware that maybe he hasn’t gotten to it yet but how long do I wait to say something? I am already irritated because he wasn’t totally honest with me the first time. When he told me that he’d block her, he picked up his phone and seemed to be doing something on it. Was that supposed to be blocking her? He can’t be that dumb, there’s zero chance of me not checking. We have known each other for 30+ years so he knows I will check. I honestly did want to talk about the situation, to understand why he hadn’t severed that link. But his sudden announcement that he would just block her coupled with not having done it quickly feels sketchy. And how exactly do I bring this up because I am going to have to admit that I checked. Which, as I said, he should expect but there’s a fairly good chance that he’ll be mad about it all the same. Obviously there are trust issues and none of this will be resolved quickly (therapy is part of the plan) but the current situation is not helping. I want to address the topic like a mature adult and hear his thoughts on the matter, not just get another knee-jerk reaction. Even more, I want him to do what he said he would do without me having to bring it up again, because that would help increase my trust in him. So what amount of time is reasonable to wait for him to do what he said he would do?

2024.05.17 08:29 eynouement do i move on? (how?...) or do i stay. send help ;-; (im 20M, she's 20F)

hey guys, i'm here looking for advice as to what i should do with myself. the story is a little long so please bear with me. (i'm 20M)
i was 18 when i first met my ex-girlfriend back in 2022, let's name her sofa (20F). we were arranged to be in the same class for the first time after going through 4 semesters in poly, right after i went through a break up. i got to know of her beforehand because my best friend back then was pretty close to her, so naturally the both of us hit it off immediately when we found out that we were in the same class. too natural in fact. to me, it felt like she was an extension of me. by the time week 1 ended, we were able to finish each others' sentences, and we knew most of each others' secrets.
slowly but surely, i fell in love. but back then she let me in onto one of her secrets: she had a boyfriend. i didn't want to be a homewrecker, so i kept my feelings to myself. however, said boyfriend was apparently sexually abusive towards her. and throughout it all, i was there for her emotionally and physically (this includes forcing her to give him a bj and to swallow his jizz, and going down on her when she clearly voiced her discomfort.) we'd skip classes sometimes to just be with each other, because she told me that she needed to get away from everything, and as her best friend i couldn't say no. but now that i think about it, it was probably because i too, wanted to spend time with her.
then one night we were out watching black panther 2, and she held my hand in the cinema. that's when i knew that i probably wrecked a home without meaning to. she confessed that she already had feelings for me long before the movie, probably at the same time i started falling for her. she explained how she got together with her then boyfriend: he was there when she needed someone, especially since they were both in the school band (she was the vocalist), he would pull her confidence up when she felt unconfident of herself. gratitude, she called it, with "it" referring to her feelings for him.
she then told me that she believed in the connection between me and her, and i agreed because i too, had never felt anything like this. after that day, i accompanied her to AFA, where she cosplayed as makima and i helped take photos of her. and the next day, our lips met for the first time. she promised that she would break things off with her ex when she flew to new zealand, i trusted her. long story short, she didnt end things with him. but i didnt know that she actually tried her best, but the man wouldn't take it as an answer. (she was the type to never say no) i cut her off there and then, because i didn't want to get hurt any longer.
months passed, and during that period, i went back to my ex. who popped my cherry, and showed me that sex was actually pretty bad. context: i didn't feel good at all, and took 1h30mins to finish. she enjoyed it though, and i later found out that she was lying about being a virgin, and that she actually loves cock. march came and i went to bangkok, thailand on internship with sofa and my best friend. my ex cheated on me 2 weeks into the internship with some streamer on a chinese streaming platform. i have records of her sending gifts to him all the time. strangly, i didnt feel much when i found out, i was actually okay with it. this is where sofa comes in. she held my hand again one night when me, my best friend and her were watching "the whales" in my room. i never thought that she would still have feelings for me, because the whole time people were saying that she gave up on me long ago. and i too, realised that i was not over her. call me a playboy, whatever. but it was my feelings, and i wasn't mature enough to control them. me and sofa fell in love and fixed our misunderstandings.
we spent 5 months together living in the same room. it was like a honeymoon period minus the actual marriage. we had a hard time adjusting to life without each other after we returned to singapore. and we broke up last year december 30th.
thing is, things didn't stop there. she found another guy 3 days after the break up, but still continued to see me in secret and hooked up with me too. all while dating the guy and having sex with him too. (i didn't know they were together, she claimed that they were just friends). soon enough, her own friends found out about our trysts and sold her out to her new guy. i guess he was as delusional as me, because he wanted to hold on. but things weren't the same, and eventually he ended things with her. this prompted her to come back to me, but with a pre-requisite: she wouldn't date me because she needed time to heal. at that point i felt like it was understandable, because she had been through a lot, and on the other hand completely neglected the 4 months of pain that i went through. i finally snapped at her one day, and told that if she wasn't going to try fighting for me, then i wasn't going to. she sent a whole paragraph to defend herself and then blocked me. i thought that i would be able to move on quickly after that, but its still the exact same as the time when i first broke up with her (i didn't sleep for 4 days in a row and collapsed in class, and often locked myself in my cupboard to just cry). i just enlisted in the army a few days ago and i really want to know how do i cope with this, because truth is i still love her.

2024.05.17 08:13 meisterwolf I actually found success and fun with Knight again

I gave him up months ago because I felt he sucked in the new meta. I tried running 3-4 slowdowns with him and it just felt lame and I lost probably half my matches. The matches I would win were where Knight excelled...ie. bully squads. So I needed to change up some stuff, and decided to just try and draw out the match and have fun.
The Build
Hex:Ruin, Hex:Undying, Hex:Noed and Tinkerer. My add ons were Iridescent Company Banner and Map of the Realm (of course). I tried different info perks but they just didn't synergize well. Surveillance was suggested as well but I didn't have it but I finally settled on Tinkerer. Perhaps you could swap them if you tried this build.
The Strategy
My goal is just to get as many hooks as possible before they destroy both Hexes. And then to try and kill 1 survivor before the end game. Also try to use Tinkerer to find which gens to pressure if they haven't destroyed the Hexes yet. Noed and Company Banner has led to some great moments at the gates.
The best part is you don't have to think about hooking all the survivors or getting value from pop the weasel and marching across the map to kick a gen or scourge hook RNG. All that matters is just hooking people and pressuring them to waste time trying to find the Hexes. Then end game surprise them with the Noed and get some fools trying to run out with the Company Banner.
Long story short...I started winning again....and it was actually fun. No more kicking gens.
Weaknesses
A good SWF can counter this if you have long chases and they try to put a few gen jockeys hammering out gens. This is where Tinkerer helps, you can have a guard latch onto a survivor then break chase and head for the gen while undetectable. I get 1-3 hits per game this way. plus it puts them off that gen if Ruin is still up.
Body blocking at end game in the gates, again a good swf will know when to do this so the gates aren't blocked.

2024.05.17 07:14 tab_rick What is the Best Kitchen Island Countertop?

What is the Best Kitchen Island Countertop?
The kitchen island countertop is more than a functional surface; in modern homes, it stands as the heart of the kitchen. With a plethora of materials available, from granite and quartz to laminate and solid surface, selecting the ideal one can be challenging. Let’s explore the best options.

What Makes a Kitchen Island Countertop Great?

When considering a countertop, aesthetics alone won’t suffice. An outstanding kitchen island countertop combines durability, low maintenance, visual allure, and versatility. Let’s delve into these criteria further.

Good Durability

Durability is a critical attribute for countertops. Envision accidental wine spills or the impact of dropping heavy utensils. Materials like granite, quartz, solid surface and stainless steel are designed to resist such challenges, making them preferred choices for many homeowners. On the other hand, hardwood and butcher block, while also durable, provide a warmer aesthetic compared to the sleek appearance of stainless steel. For households with high activity or children, a strong yet aesthetically pleasing countertop is crucial.

Easy Maintenance

Maintaining a pristine countertop shouldn’t require excessive time and effort. Prioritizing easy maintenance is essential. For example, solid surface countertops are non-porous, offering stain resistance. A swift cleaning suffices for its upkeep. Laminate is another user-friendly choice, though it may not match the durability of quartz. While stainless steel is effortless to clean, it might display fingerprints and scratches. It’s crucial to consider the advantages and disadvantages of each material.

Visual Appeal

The kitchen often stands as the centerpiece of a home, demanding both aesthetic and functional considerations. Granite countertops, renowned for their distinctive patterns and shades, add a touch of visual allure. For those with a penchant for a modern and minimalist design, solid surface countertops are a fitting choice. Marble countertops, with their unique veining, exude an artistic elegance. Yet, while aesthetics play a role, it’s imperative to ensure that functionality isn’t compromised in the pursuit of beauty.

Multitasking

A versatile kitchen island countertop provides notable benefits, especially in smaller kitchens with limited space. For example, a butcher block countertop functions both as a working area and an integrated chopping board. Moreover, countertops with integrated charging stations or storage features elevate their functionality and efficiency.

Solid Surface Countertop

Solid surface countertops offer design versatility, adeptly mimicking the aesthetics of natural stone, wood, or various other materials. Comprised primarily of natural minerals fused with high-quality resins, these countertops are gaining popularity among homeowners and design professionals alike.
Examining the composition in detail, the predominant component in solid surface countertops is aluminum powder. This powder is a precise blend of 15+25+75, leading to a high-density, non-porous surface with minimal water absorption. The texture is smooth to the touch. Additionally, the incorporation of isophthalic resin guarantees the countertop exhibits an exceptional texture, augmented hardness, and increased resistance to discoloration and environmental pollutants. In simpler terms, its quality and performance are outstanding.

Characteristics of Solid Surface Countertop

Solid surface kitchen countertops have garnered attention in recent times. But what sets them apart? Let’s delve into their key features.
  • Easy to Maintain and Clean: Solid surface countertops stand out for their simplicity in upkeep. Any inadvertent spills, whether coffee or red wine, can be swiftly wiped away using a damp cloth. Their non-porous quality ensures they resist staining, sidestepping the persistent marks often seen with alternative countertop materials.
  • Smooth and Uniform Look: Solid surface countertops cater to those seeking a harmonious and uninterrupted appearance. Unlike natural stones like granite or marble, which may display variations, these countertops offer a uniform look. Such consistency aligns well with homeowners desiring a contemporary and polished kitchen aesthetic.
  • Unique Appearance: The design patterns of solid surface countertops stand out because of their uniqueness, our solid surface sheet can also be made into a unique pattern plate. Carefully crafted by experienced masters, the lines are smooth and delicate, beautiful and generous. In addition to their visual appeal, the patterns capture the rich color and luster of marble, looking like marble countertops but feeling softer and more refined.
  • Absolutely Free from Formaldehyde and Odor: Our solid surface countertops are crafted from materials devoid of harmful radiation and formaldehyde emissions, promising a safe haven for prolonged usage. The inherent odorless nature further enhances your living space, promising a fresh and healthy environment at all times.
  • Antibacterial, Mold-Resistant, and Designed to Repel Moisture: Experience the hygienic brilliance of non-porous countertops that stand tall against bacteria, mold, and mildew, refusing to offer a habitat for their growth. Their suitability extends especially to kitchens and bathrooms, spaces known for moisture retention, offering a surface that is not just easy to clean but promises sustained hygiene.
  • Exceptional Durability: One of the defining characteristics of solid surface countertops is their robustness. Crafted to withstand daily wear and tear, they maintain their luster even with frequent use. Whether faced with hot kitchenware or routine tasks, these countertops prove resilient.
  • Diverse and Customizable Designs: Solid surface countertops impress with their wide array of styles. Whether you’re inclined towards a minimalist approach or detailed patterns, there’s a design tailored for you. Additionally, the customization scope is broad, encompassing integrated sinks to unique edge designs, expanding the design horizons.
The growing preference for solid surface countertops is rooted in their maintenance ease, visual charm, lasting durability, and adaptability in design. They truly present a blend of attributes that’s compelling to consider.

Granite Countertop

Granite countertops epitomize a blend of sophistication and resilience. Recognized for its aesthetic allure and practical advantages, granite has long been a preferred choice for discerning homeowners. Let’s explore the attributes that position granite as a premium countertop material.
What gives granite its distinct properties? Granite is an igneous rock, formed from cooled molten lava. This implies that your countertop might have originated from volcanic activity. Its primary constituents are quartz, feldspar, and mica, which contribute to its speckled appearance. The minerals present in granite provide a spectrum of colors, ranging from earthy browns and muted pinks to profound blacks and radiant whites.

Characteristics of Granite Countertops

  • Unique Patterns and Colors: Granite stands out for its unparalleled individuality. Each slab is distinct, ensuring that your kitchen island countertop is truly unique. The vast array of colors and designs provides ample opportunities for tailored preferences.
  • Long-Lasting: Granite is renowned for its durability. With appropriate maintenance, including periodic sealing, a granite countertop can serve for decades, proving to be a long-term investment.
  • Heat and Stain Resilience: Kitchens are prone to spills and high temperatures. Granite’s heat-resistant nature allows for direct placement of hot cookware without causing harm. When sealed correctly, it also resists stains, facilitating easy cleaning.
In summary, granite offers more than aesthetic appeal; it’s a blend of beauty and practicality. Regardless of your culinary expertise, a granite countertop remains a dependable and elegant option for your kitchen island.

Marble Countertop

Marble epitomizes luxury and refinement. Commonly linked with magnificence, marble countertops elevate the sophistication of any kitchen. But what attributes make marble stand out as a choice for kitchen island countertops? Marble is a metamorphic rock, evolved from limestone. Under specific heat and pressure conditions, it transforms into the distinguished stone recognized as marble. Its signature veining arises from impurities like clay, silt, and sand present during its formation.

Characteristics of Marble Countertops

  • Distinctive Veining: Marble’s hallmark is its distinctive veining, a natural masterpiece where each slab narrates a singular tale. This ensures that your kitchen island countertop transcends functionality to become a focal point of conversation.
  • Heat Resistant: Marble naturally remains cool even in elevated temperatures, providing an ideal surface for tasks such as rolling out dough. While it is resistant to heat, utilizing trivets is recommended to prevent potential damage to the surface.
  • Porous and Delicate: While marble’s porous nature renders it somewhat delicate, necessitating regular sealing to maintain its immaculate appearance, this characteristic also lends it a refined and elegant aesthetic. Ensuring prompt cleanup of spills will aid in preserving its pristine condition.

Quartz Countertop

In the dynamic realm of kitchen design, quartz countertops stand out as a preferred choice for both homeowners and designers. What makes quartz so captivating? Let’s delve into the unique characteristics of this exceptional material.
Quartz, at its essence, is a prevalent natural mineral. However, when discussing quartz countertops, we’re addressing an engineered stone. This signifies that while it’s produced, it’s not wholly synthetic. The creation involves pulverizing natural quartz crystals into a refined powder, which is then amalgamated with other minerals and resins. A standard quartz countertop is composed of approximately 90% quartz and 10% resins, polymers, and colorants. This distinct blend yields a material that combines the aesthetics of natural stone with features unattainable by pure natural stones.
Thanks to the manufacturing technique, there’s an expansive array of colors and designs available. This adaptability is a pivotal reason for quartz’s rising popularity in kitchen countertops.

Characteristics of Quartz Countertop

  • Wide Designs: Engineered quartz stands out for its adaptability and range of aesthetic options. Whether you desire a countertop that embodies the sophistication of marble without the upkeep, or you prefer a modern, striking design adorned with metallic specks, quartz meets your needs. Its wide variety of designs and hues guarantees a match for every preference and kitchen motif.
  • Easy to Clean and Maintain: Kitchens are prone to spills and stains, but with quartz countertops, clean-up is a breeze. Its non-porous surface resists staining, safeguarding against the likes of coffee spills or beetroot splashes. A quick wipe with a damp cloth restores its pristine condition, eliminating the need for frequent sealing or specialized cleaning solutions.
  • High Durability: Quartz countertops are synonymous with endurance, resisting scratches, chips, and cracks effectively. Their hard-wearing nature makes them ideal for bustling kitchen environments, capable of withstanding daily culinary endeavors whether you are a beginner or a proficient chef.
  • Consistent Appearance: In contrast to natural stones, which may exhibit variations in shade and pattern even within a single slab, quartz presents a uniform facade. This attribute is vital when utilizing multiple slabs for a project, facilitating a harmonious and uninterrupted visual flow.

Stainless Steel Countertop

Stainless steel countertops, once predominantly seen in commercial kitchens, are now gaining popularity in residential settings. Their appeal? A combination of a sleek, contemporary look and a host of functional advantages tailored for active kitchens.
Stainless steel owes its “stainless” characteristic to its chromium composition. This element creates a protective layer on the surface, granting resistance against rust and everyday stains—a crucial feature in a space where spills are commonplace. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, stainless steel stands out for its remarkable durability. It can endure high temperatures and resist scratches, positioning it as a robust and almost unbeatable choice for kitchen surfaces.

Characteristics of Stainless Steel Countertops

  • Stain Resistance: A notable advantage of stainless steel is its ability to resist stains. Common kitchen spills like coffee, wine, or juice can be effortlessly cleaned up, making it invaluable in a bustling kitchen environment.
  • Easy to Clean: Maintaining stainless steel’s shine is simple—just a swift swipe with a moist cloth does the trick. There’s no demand for special cleaners or polishes, making it a top pick for those who value hassle-free care.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Stainless steel robustly defends against corrosion, ensuring common household chemicals and substances don’t harm it. Its durability makes it a go-to for experimental chefs.
  • Sleek Aesthetic: For enthusiasts of a modern or industrial look, stainless steel is the way to go. Its lustrous finish and sleek design add a touch of sophistication to any kitchen environment.
  • Hygienic: Stainless steel’s non-porous nature guarantees a sanitary surface, providing minimal hiding spots for germs and pathogens.
In summary, if you’re in the market for a countertop material that marries aesthetic charm with functional advantages, stainless steel is a commendable option. Its durability, simple care, and modern aesthetic render it a fitting choice for today’s kitchens.

Porcelain Countertop

Porcelain, traditionally linked with elegant tea sets and intricate vases, has now gracefully transitioned into the realm of kitchen island countertops. Its allure isn’t solely based on its aesthetic charm. Porcelain countertops combine both visual elegance and practical advantages, setting them apart from many other materials.
Porcelain is a specialized ceramic, fired at exceptionally high temperatures to attain its robustness and longevity. Crafted from natural elements such as clay, feldspar, and quartz, these components are meticulously pulverized and then fused. The outcome is a compact, resilient material that stands up well against scratches, stains, and high temperatures.

Characteristics of Porcelain Countertops

  • Lightweight and Easy to Install: Porcelain has a knack for being light, making it a breeze to install compared to the heavyweights like granite or quartz.
  • Easy to Maintain: Thanks to its non-porous nature, porcelain doesn’t soak up liquids or become a breeding ground for bacteria. A swift swipe with a wet cloth is all it usually needs.
  • Appealing Appearance: Porcelain has this modern, chic vibe. Plus, it’s available in so many colors and designs, letting homeowners get just the right look for their kitchen island tops.
  • Robust Durability: Don’t let its elegant appearance fool you; porcelain can take a beating. It’s great at fending off scratches, chips, and the harsh sun, ensuring it stays beautiful for years.
  • Heat and UV Resistance: For those who love to cook, porcelain is a dream. You can place hot pots right on it without a worry. And if it’s under the sun? No problem. It won’t fade, thanks to its UV resistance.
When it comes to kitchen island tops, porcelain is making waves. Its blend of good looks and rugged strength makes it a top pick for homeowners wanting the best of both worlds.

2024.05.17 07:09 Thecaptwin5527 Is this a new thing?

I play on Xbox just saying so it makes sense later. So I was playing ranked earlier and I came against this 5 stack and every time one of them would die they would start spam inviting you to a party and when I blocked those account they hopped on other accounts and started spam inviting me again and by the end of the game I had well over 500+ invites from 10+ accounts. It took almost 10 minutes after the game for the notifications to stop popping up. So I’m wonder have people done this for a while or is this new?

Hey everyone, EzeDoesIt back at it again with a surprise spoiler breakdown of everything Creative Director of the Rules and Lore Team, Luis Loza ( u/Paizo_Luis ), talked about during his interview today from BadLuckGamer! This was a last minute notification for me, so I made sure to spend the time today detailing every spoiler Luis talked about. He held back a few times, due to how close PaizoCon was (coming up next weekend!). But he did spill some beans, so I'll be relaying what was said.
Please check out the VOD for the full interview, and all the interesting discussions I did not cover HERE!
Beware ye, for there do be spoilers:
Gorum was chosen as the god to die, since his death would result in a lot of interesting changes and developments in the setting. It was not due to Gorum being boring, but rather the possibilities of the stories his death would create made it so he was the one that needed to die.
At one point, the god that was slated to die was actually Torag, not Gorum! Luis cited the ending hidden message in Lost Omens: Highhelm as a hint for Torag's possible death, and also set up the Dwarven Pantheon without Torag as either another hint of his death, or as a possible explanation if he did go on living ("You need to learn to live without me"). There ARE changes to the dwarven pantheon in the coming months, though!
Nethys was never on the chopping block. Luis doesn't want to "pop that balloon", and feels that the mechanics around magic would've needed to be changed in response to him dying. So he's been safe since the beginning. Again, the update to the Archives of Nethys lining up to Nethys being marked safe was a coincidence, but a fun one at that!
Luis was asked if there was anything in Pathfinder that he worked on that he was particularly proud of? And Luis answered, saying he's the most proud of developing the Automaton ancestry, and was really proud of being able to secretly doubling the ancestry's feat count by having the Enhancements in the level 1-9 feats.
Luis' crown jewel book he's worked on is Lost Omens: Divine Mysteries! AND Divine Mysteries was actually conceived BEFORE the OGL fiasco! They always wanted to do a sequel to Lost Omens: Gods & Magic, and came up with Yvali to delve into what makes a god and what makes them tick. Having a good framing device/narrative makes writing books more exciting for writers, and that excitement can definitely be felt by those who read the books!
Different pantheons are gonna be talked about in depth. The Orc pantheon and the Crucible will be covered. The Goblin pantheon, due to the interesting bits with the Barghest Goblin gods will be covered (Eze Note: this was mentioned before the OGL stuff came up in conversation, so not sure if Barghest Goblin gods will still be around or if the Goblin gods will still be Barghests, given new Barghests in Monster Core). The Azlanti pantheon is being explored as well, talking about how previously prominent gods fell into obscurity.
Luis made sure to grab every god stat block he could find and update them for the Remaster. All of the domains across all the books and AP backmatter have been collected and updated as well. Luis wanted to make sure every god was covered, so players wouldn't be left out in the cold due to switching to the Remaster version of the rules.
Luis talked about his job as a Creative Director of the Rules and Lore team, and cited an example where he had to make the call on whether Centaurs should have pointed ears or rounded ears. After consulting previous artwork and seeing it was split in the middle, Luis decided that Centaurs will have rounded ears. That way, it's one less detail artists will have to worry about.
The freelancers working on Divine Mysteries didn't know about Gorum's death! Gorum was put in the outline, and Luis assigned Gorum to himself to help keep the scent off the trail. Only the freelancer working on Arazni's section knew about Gorum's death ahead of the announcement, due to Arazni's promotion to the Core 20.
Luis was asked why archetypes aren't playtested like classes are, and Luis answered that the designers know how to make archetypes due to their knowledge of how classes work, and generally archetypes don't have brand new tech in them that warrants playtesting like that of class playtests (Commanders' Tactics and Exemplars' Ikons being stated as a new tech that needed testing). Also, classes are the thing players are most likely to interact with. Most of the time, you're not getting an archetype at Level 1 (obvious exceptions not-withstanding). But classes are, and so classes need to be put through the paces the most.
Another reason too is, if every archetype needed to be playtested, they would either not be able to put out as many books as they are currently, or they'd have to release far fewer archetypes due to how long the playtest process works. If they needed to playest the archetypes in the APG, they'd only have 5 or 6 archetypes at most, instead of the 40 archetypes we did get.
"Which lore books are you doing for the foreseeable future?" Can't talk about that since they aren't announced, but regional books are a safe bet! Aside from that, just know that the people assigned to future books are assigned to them because they are excited to be leading/writing them, and that should hopefully come through in reading the books in the future.
The word "Bloodrager" is gonna be spoken at PaizoCon. Such a tease!
The Battle Harbinger in Lost Omens: Divine Mysteries is gonna have their spellcasting diminished a bit and have their Divine Font change significantly in order for them to gain new, interesting combat abilities to allow them into the frontlines (or engaging more directly) more so than Warpriests already do. Doing so as a class archetype, they aren't restricted by the small wiggle room of the Cleric's doctrines. Luis dropped the fact they will have "Battle Auras", and left it at that!
Luis answered several of my submitted questions! The first one is in regards to info about Apsu and Dahak. Apsu and Dahak are getting entries in Divine Mysteries, and they are still around. Their story is getting changed and retcon'd, due to the OGL situation. But it's also being expanded! Dahak is gonna have other siblings, so the idea of more Dragon gods are being teased out in Divine Mysteries.
An interesting detail that's not getting talked in full quite yet is about Apsu and Dahak's granted spells for Clerics. Typically, unless they're a god like Nethys or Abraxas who are all about being tied into magic, most gods only grant 3 spells to Clerics. But Dahak and Apsu are "setting a particular and unique standard that's tied to them specifically" in that both will have 4 granted spells each. It'll make sense when you see it, but they'll have that extra 4th spell that they share that is setting up this common theme.
Luis mentions, as a comparison, themes that come up with the gods that people might not be aware of that have come up in development for them. The example he gives is Mzali and the three sun gods. He decided, in development, that they each grant the Zeal domain due to how all three of them have such enthusiasm and drive to them. So they not only share their connection to the sun, but they also all have the Zeal domain. So Apsu/Dahak will be further connected by the spells they grant, as an additional way to associate them with each other.
Next, Luis talked about when content outside of the Core 4 books will see about being Remastered. When it makes sense to bring something forward, they will (like how they're Remastering all of the domains in Divine Mysteries). But he feels like they've done a good job overall with keeping the game compatible with the previous content, sanctification and wizard schools being the most egregious changes. They're gonna address the most glaring things that need adjustment, but he asks to not expect them to go back and adjust every single thing to the Remaster. As the large amount of time it'd take to Remaster 4-5 years of content, it would mean next-to-no time left to create new material.
As an example for the above with bringing forward old content into the Remaster, there'll be updated Witch patrons in Lost Omens: Divine Mysteries, and Baba Yaga's entry the one that was specifically called out! (Eze Note: that'd just leave Mosquito Witch and Pact Patrons left to update to the Remaster, so I wonder if one or both of them will be coming forward as well?)
Luis does encourage this: If there's something that needs to be updated and you want it to be done, he recommends letting them know so they can assess that and find the time and space to get those issues looked at and addressed. Also, it might take time for those opportunities to publish these things to happen! Some might even be happening right now, but until it's announced or published, people just need to be patient and wait for the books to come out.
Someone asked about the Ysoki Tailblade being in the game? Luis doesn't know! He does know there's ancestry weapons in PC2, and of course Ratfolk are in PC2 as well, but he honestly does not know if it's in there. The same person asked about new ancestry weapons in general later. Luis couldn't say for sure there was new ones, and didn't want to get people's hopes up by making a mistake remembering which ones are new or not.
"Who does Arazni have a weird bond with?" In Arazni's entry in Lost Omens: Divine Mysteries, it's confirmed she will have a Herald! Luis wouldn't say who they are. She will have a shared history of trauma with them, and it's said Arazni will be learning to trust others a little bit to explain why she now has a herald (in addition to her needing a herald now that she's a Core 20 god!).
Another of my questions is answered! I asked if Luis was excited that Wrestler is in Player Core 2, and he of course said yes! He's not sure if it's been expanded at all (he joked Mike Sayre might declare it's perfect the way it is, lmao), but he's glad it's in the Core book now for more people to look at.
Luis' favorite player options in Tian Xia Character Guide is some of the new Magus stuff coming, but he doesn't elaborate further as he feels that TXCG is more so James Case and Eleanor Ferron's baby, and they should be the ones to talk about all that's in that book. He's also excited with some of the new ancestry stuff, especially the Yaoguai!
"Has there been anything as a Creative Director that you wanted to change or add, but you weren't able to?" Luis, and maybe other people might have this feeling as well, feels that maybe the timeline for Golarion didn't need to go back 10,000 years. A ton of stuff has changed just within the past 2024 years, so to conceive 10,000 years of history without as much change stretching the suspension of disbelief quite a bit. Obviously there's fantasy tropes of long histories, but sometimes it complicates some matters.
Final question I asked got answered, which was if Luis has helped out the Starfinder team with stuff in regards to the lore, especially considering SF2E is gonna be 100% compatible with PF2E. I also mentioned knowing they both have separate continuities, but wondered if there was still some collaboration there. Luis said yeah, he does. He, James Jacobs and Thurston Hillman (hi Thursty!), the three Creative Directors, get into weekly meetings with each other to discuss what each side in the Pathfinder rules, Pathfinder adventures, and Starfinder teams are all doing. The two games try not to do the same kinds of stories at the same time, like not wanting them to tell a Runelords story that's exactly like Return of the Runelords. Likewise, Starfinder probably won't be killing any of their gods right after War of Immortals comes out.
Although they try to keep the timelines separate, everyone still keeps in touch in order to make sure they aren't breaking each others' toys and keep at least some kind of connection between the two games. And there's an interest in crossover potential, too! So maybe there's a desire for things to line up, regardless. And we'll likely see some of these developments in the coming years!
And the final question is about whether frog-centric content is coming to PF2E! Luis mentions the Tripkee (new name of the Grippli) being in Player Core 2, and since they'll have a bit more space in PC2 compared to before, they'll be expanded a little bit.
Finally, Luis leaves us with this. He's teased enough about Divine Mysteries in today's stream, but he's sure to tease a little bit more during the Keynote at PaizoCon this coming weekend, and if you end up liking that tease, then you should show up during the Godsrain panel that same day so he can talk some more about what is in Divine Mysteries and show off some of the cool art in that book.
And that's all the spoilers said during the interview! Next post will be all of the spoilers I'll collect in the Discord Events server during PaizoCon! If you got questions you wanna ask, feel free to let me know (preferably via DMs here). I'll try to ask as many as I can during the entire weekend. Until next time!

Am I bi because of sexual arousal I get from watching girl porn as a female who’s ever been with guys? I’ve never had a crush on a girl or wanted to date one. I could never do anything to a girl but I’d allow them to do it me I have had thoughts of it and of sleeping with another girl I had to block her because it was triggering to me
Ive had this pop up before too, but I can see girls in public and feel nothing it’s more if it’s doing sexual stuff like twerking or something on the internet? I’ve seen it in person and didn’t get horny than lol….

2024.05.17 05:56 Basic-Wind-8484 Yeah I quit this game

I know I know this isn't an airport I don't have to announce my departure but wow man. It is so shitty to find this game and decide to give it a good try despite all the memes and shit and just have such a terrible time playing it. Really love it and maybe I'll just strictly play arcade but since I'm venting it sucks man. I think it all honestly comes down to the matchmaking. I tried watched videos and practicing my combos in the arena, went back to more videos, took even more time to practice over and over but there's just no point honestly.
There's nothing for me to learn or improve on when the matchmaking puts me with people that can consistently light parry, know all my combos, switch ups, timings, maximize every punish, and spam combos that I can't block or even know how to break out of. Every 1 of 20 games I finally get with people my level and it's a blast, we miss guardbreaks due to distance, we fuck up the punish and only hit with 1 light, we hit the walls every other hit and roll around to run away. But every 19 out of 20 games it's a warden that shoulder bash chains me (he magically knows when to switch the timing so my dodge doesn't work) into a corner and light spams me to death, a peacekeeper that feints every other attack and my new player reflexes can't keep up to save my life, a warmonger that stands infront of me and instantly parries every single light or heavy I throw (guardbreaks didn't work either she auto countered those too), a highlander that snuck up and kicked me into a corner and then proceeded to chain kick and heavy me then emote, a shinobi and orochi that after seeing me suck in a few battles worked together to spam kick me into a corner and keep me there for 2 minutes until they finally killed me.
Idk man, I really wanted to learn this game and have fun and I'm no stranger to struggling. I've beaten several dark souls games all the way to new game +9 and I've always been a fan of playing on the absolute highest difficulties possible but I'm at a loss on this game. It's hard to make sense of either it's got 4k+ players daily according to the statistics so unless you're telling me 98% of the player base is greater than rep 70 and all experts so it's impossible to get a lobby consistently with new players in it. If I was hitting and winning fights I could handle it, even just one so often but I've had multiple games back to back where I get 0 kills. Even in ganks the enemy players just shrug me off like I'm not even there, which sucks cause that's the only time I've been able to fight higher levels and hit them, even then as soon as they pop revenge they go 100% on me to get me out of the way and obliterate me.
Great game, but I think the matchmaking is taking a baseball bat to its fucking knees and crippling it. Then again maybe this is just one of those areas like R6 siege ranked where you only play if you want to sweat bullets and snort Adderall. Either way, it was fun for a week but I guess that's it for me folks. GL and hf on all your games for me.

2024.05.17 05:25 Unkn0wn______ here’s my 1984 ford f250 DIESEL!

here’s my 1984 ford f250 DIESEL!
I’m 17 and this truck has been in my family since it was brand new. Fast forwarding to 1987 when the block of the beefy 6.9 liter diesel cracked. My grandpa went ahead and siliconed it, screwed a copper plate into the side of the block and went on with it. It managed to leak many many more times and then my dad later on put crack sealant in it and now here it is after 20 years no leaking. Except a few days ago it started pouring coolant from the same side that crack was on. Turns out the heater hose above the crack was the issue so I trimmed the line back popped it back on and it’s good to go again. It now has approximately 500000+ miles. She is a rough one but it has its place in history.

2024.05.17 05:00 IdleSyn Is he stalking?

I am two years out of an emotionally abusive relationship. He also has a history of drug abuse, violence, list goes on… I live in the same town as him and have successfully avoided any confrontations and was able to block all contact. He seemed to move on quickly, like before we were even over he was seeing another woman, and has dated many girls since. However, I’ve since noticed his graffiti tag/distinct signature popping up on electric boxes on the street right outside my neighborhood on the main street in two different spots and in front of my best friend’s neighborhood. He has “tags” which is essentially a signature, all over town, but noticed these recently and a new one that looks fresh… am I being paranoid? Should I report it to non-emergency line or leave it alone? I’ve made good progress to move in with my life but the tags popping up close to my home, that we used to share, is making me uneasy. Am I just being paranoid? It feels like a statement, “I’m close by”.

2024.05.17 04:48 BroadEgg2034 Someone pretending to be me

All of a sudden, gay men have been going to where I live. They just push the gate because they have been apparently instructed by me to discreetly do so. I have been getting phone calls from different numbers at the most unholy hours non stop because someone is outside and wanting to speak to me. My Facebook is full of unwanted lewd messages I'm not even joking.
It's the Grinder app with my name, my photos and details. This account says : I'll deactivate this account soon because I don't want to be known that I'm here. Call me at this number or go to this address go straight in without fuss.
This has been causing a lot of stress. I have a small business and I can't change numbers. I have blocked these numbers but they just keep popping up. One time my phone rang while I was having sexy time with the girlfriend and honestly when I heard a man's voice on the line saying he's outside, my boner just died down.
Here's what I already did: filed a blotter. I downloaded grinder and checked if I have an account but there appears to be nothing (?)
Help?

2024.05.17 04:28 bluedrgn52 Almost two months out

SW: 345 (pre surgery, counting from here) HW: 380 (6 months ago) CW: 311 (today!)
I'm just chatting here to people who get it. (So nice!) 🙂
Two months out and I'll finally be able to eat protein AND vegetables at the end of this month. I am following my doctors and surgeons advice and plans so please don't tell me that you ate vegetables prior to this blah blah... Every plan is different.
I'm so excited to eat veg again because it opens up so many more options of food. All that said however there's still so much protein to get in I dunno if I'll even get to the veg. Lol. I had a SADI-E so my protein goals are ridiculously high (120-145 grams a day).
I am excited that I've already dropped 34 lbs, cuz that's NEVER happened so fast in my life. The lowest I've ever been in the last 20 years has been 308. And that was doing keto for about a year.
I'm eating about 800 - 1400 calories a day, just because that's where things fall once I pet my protein goals. I don't calorie count but it's part of the app I use so it's there, but I'm hitting my protein and water goals daily!
Finding out what it feels like to be full has been interesting. It's a very different sensation than it was pre-op. I was noticing and paying attention for the last year or so to fullness cues but they're very different now. The feeling is there a lot more in general. Mine are general just 'pain' aka fullness. My biggest problem has been that about 30 minutes after I eat, my stomach is growling again. However I talk to my dietitian about this and my surgeon, and they both told me to eat a snack and wait another 30 minutes. So far that has worked and after the second eating period, I'm good for a few hours. And yes I am waiting the 30 minutes after eating to drink anything. As well as a 30 minutes before and not drinking during my meal time. Which by the way is extremely annoying.
I'm finally able to exercise (mostly walking, some biking) and have been building my step count up from well, barely 500 pre surgery to right around 4000 now. This is huge because my joints like to pop out and previous to surgery walking was a big problem. I wasn't able to walk around the block and now I can. If I went with my husband and daughter to the grocery store for store runs weekly, I had to have the cart because I never knew when my knee was going to pop out. I know everyone's exercise goals are different too but this is a big milestone for me, and I've been really happy to see my watch cheer me on daily when I hit (and increase) my step goals. I'm also able to use our exercise bike which I couldnt even sit on pre surgery because I couldn't get my leg over it.
NSV's have been dropping a pants size already and about to drop another (26-24 and my 24's are getting big and I'm digging out my 22's), shirts have gone from a 4/5x to a 3/4x, mostly a 3. I'm gonna have to go to the thrift store soon to get smaller sizes. I haven't been below a size 22 since my daughter was born and she will be 20 this year.
I'm able to grocery shop AND walk the block in the same day and not due from exhaustion or pain overload (sidenote, I have chronic pain/lupus/EDS/POTS, and they recently prescribed me gabapentin and it's a LIFE CHANGER.)
I am noticing the start of loose skin which has always freaked me out when I've lost before but this time I'm ok with it. I will have it no matter what as I was 5'8" and weights above, and it's stretched out a lot. I'm ok with it because I want to be healthy and also because we've already started saving for skin removal surgeries. Which will suck but I'd rather have the surgery scars than have loose skin.
I'm excited to continue this journey. I cant see a difference in how I look yet, but some people around me have already noticed some.
Also, no hair loss yet. crossing fingers 🤞

2024.05.17 04:24 PunkPrincess_02 Who needs their balls drained?

You stepped out of my restroom looking around. I caught your attention and pointed towards my sofa. You cautiously walked around my sofa to find your place. You were tall and lean like your pictures. Wearing a white long sleeve shirt. A contrast from the dark room. The imprint of your long dick was visible from your gray shorts. It look so long I almost expected your dick head to pop out.
You slowly pull your shorts down when I request for you to take them off completely. You pull them off before seating down and moving your shoes aside so I can position myself between your legs.
As I take a knee I look at your long beautiful brown cock. My mouth instantly waters thinking how delicious your cock will taste going down my throat. I gently reach under your cock then l lean forward to get my first taste.
My lips were pressed against your tip. Then I rolled your skin back with my lips on my way down. Without hesitation you release a loud roaring sigh. My warm wet mouth, which was a perfect slide for your dick, must have felt good. “holy fuck” you exclaimed. As your dick glided in and out of my mouth and inflated, I noticed it got bigger and longer than I had anticipated. I wondered if I had met my match.
My mouth had felt good but I had yet to deep throat you. Sliding my slippery mouth from almost the base of your dick and moving upward I noticed your dick got girthier the higher I got. Making your head a mouthful. I was determined, I wanted to show off my sucking skills. I was willing to do whatever it took to engulf your thick dick.
I grabbed on to your thighs, took a deep breath before taking the plunge. My mouth slithered down your long shaft until your head reached the back of my mouth. Which blocked your head from going in any further. I relaxed my throat muscles and push down until your head popped in to my throat. This drove you insane! You unleashed loud pleasurable moans. “Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!” I held your cock in my throat when you unintentionally arched your back popping your dick in further. There was a pause (of disbelief) before you lost control. Your hands did not know whether to push my head down or grab on to the sofa. There wasn’t much more deep throating I could do, my top lip was pressed against your trimmed pubes. They were shaped like a landing strip.
From the moment my lips first tasted you, your moans and sighs never stopped. When the pleasure intensifies however, you get louder and express your feeling of pleasure with “fucks.” Knowing you’re enjoying my pleasure is such a turn on. I wanted to continue surprising you so I asked you to get up and turn around.
With no hesitation you turn around and place your knees on the sofa before relaxing your arms on the back of my sofa. You’re so thin when you lean over, your ass cheeks naturally spread. This will make it easy for me to kiss your puckered hole.
With my mouth pressed against your hole I slide my warm tongue in you. “Ahh….” you sigh. I go in deeper. I rubbed your lower back and thighs as I tongue twirl your hole. While I made out with your hole I reached under to play with your cock. I lick up and down your crack before taking a step back and admiring my sloppy rim job. My slobber travels down your balls and creating soaked puddles on my sofa.
After taking a pause to see the mess I had created, I decided to pull your hard cock back towards your ass where I can continue to suck. I asked if I was hurting you and you let me know I’m was not.
I place that fat mushroom head on my tongue then slide my mouth towards your balls and hole. My top lip meets your balls and my nose is brushing up against your hole. In a steady pattern I continue to suck you off while my nose teased your hole. Your cock felt so silky smooth traveling back in my mouth.
I wanted your cock back in my throat. I couldn’t quite get it there from the position we were in. Wanting to surprise you, I moved over to the part of my sectional that has no back or arms.
I laid on my back and hung my head from the edge. My mouth wide open ready to be skull fucked.
You shyly walk over placing your cock in my open mouth. You slowly descend into my throat. I had other plans. I grab on to the back of your legs and pull you in towards me. You cock rushes in my mouth, your head pops into my throat. My tight throat must have felt incredible. You lean your head back and release a loud moan. I can tell by your actions you’re in disbelief. I wonder if anyone has ever deep throated you.
You prop your left leg on my sofa. You lean in and hold on to each side of the sofa Im laying on and drive that fat long cock in me. There are times I feel like I’m about to pass out from the lack of oxygen but you’re enjoying my mouth too much for me to stop you. Tears run down my face. Saliva escapes my mouth and gets everywhere. My mouth makes hollow gagging noises as you thrust towards my face.
Your cock pops out of my mouth. I pull your ass towards me. I need air and take this opportunity to catch my breath. I slide you back and forth licking your balls, taint, and hole. Your cock rubbing up against my chest.
You return your cock back in my mouth and use it for your pleasure. You enjoying my mouth is so stimulating. The next thing to do, is make you cum.
We return back to the original spot. Like I did before, I placed your cock in my mouth and slid down until your head felt my tonsils. I repeated this motion. Back up and down. For every set of pumps stopping at your head and twirling my mouth and tongue on it. “Fuck!” escapes your mouth. You can’t help it. Your moans and grunts kept getting louder.
I sped up my pumps with my mouth. Your cock becoming the hardest it had ever been tonight. I noticed your body becomes tense. You reach and aggressively grab on to each side of my sofa. I know what’s coming. I grip your cock with my lips and give longer pumps when I feel your cock twitch. I slide that monster cock in me breaking pass the back of my mouth, your head entering my throat where you released your load. My throat muscles massage your cock, squeezing and making sure it’s all down my throat.
I slowly slide your dick out. Your body relaxes but you still have a stiff cock. I give it a couple of more tugs with my mouth. You quietly put on your clothes. I observe your cock bounce back and fourth. I can’t believe that long thick cock fit down my throat.
