I have never gone public with these two stories until recently, having only ever told my immediate family. However, with more UFO sightings supposedly happening and being accepted as legitimate, I thought I would finally share my own disturbing UFO experiences which occurred only a year apart from one another.
~FIRST EXPERIENCE~
This first experience happened maybe 14 years ago when I was 11 years old (around 2011) and living in a town called Goole in East Yorkshire, UK. I woke up one night in the early hours of next morning, and I looked out from my bedroom window where I noticed something moving across the sky close to the roofs of the neighbouring houses. What I saw looked like the most cliched flying saucer shape you could ever see (like something out of a cheesy 1960's B movie). It wasn't very big for a UFO, perhaps the size of a large car or van. It also had several small bright lights spinning around as it moved in the sky. I can also remember some sought of faint humming sound coming from whatever this thing was.
I am positive this wasn't a plane or helicopter, as it was flying way too low and was way too quiet. I am also certain this wasn't a drone as it was too big and too quiet to be so. I was in such disbelief at what I just saw, I can still remember pinching and slapping myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but I was definitely awake. For whatever reason however, I quickly forgot about what I saw that night and only ever told my mother about it (knowing she wouldn't believe me anyway). I don't know how I could have just forgotten about this occurrence for so long. Maybe I was in such disbelief I just chose to forget about it, even though I am very certain of what I saw - or perhaps I was just in denial.
This next encounter, however, is far more horrifying and even more unbelievable...
~2ND EXPERIENCE~
Although my memory is hazy on the date, I believe this 2nd encounter may have happened within the same or year after my first sighting. One afternoon, me and my friends were messing around in a field behind our town's rugby club (this was in broad daylight, late afternoon if I recall) when we saw something flying very low in the sky and seemed as though it was moving directly towards us. Assuming this was a plane, I remember thinking that it very much resembled a flying saucer, and I think one of my friends thought this aloud. The closer it came to us, the more it looked like a flying saucer.
Next thing I know, this thing is directly over us and I remember thinking "THAT IS A UFO!" Then I hear one of my friends behind me shout "SHIT!" and when I look back to my friends, every single one of them starts running to safety towards some far off trees and bushes. When I look back to what I think is a "UFO", all of a sudden what I'm seeing isn't a flying saucer, but an RAF fighter jet flying dangerously low before it quickly turns and flies away.
Every one of my friends and I were positive at first that what we were seeing was a flying saucer, and I think we just accepted that it was in fact a jet. But I was then and am still positive to this day that what I first saw that afternoon was a UFO - and after watching a YouTube video on the channel Caspersight, where supposed real footage is shown of a UFO transforming into a plane, I am far more convinced!
So maybe what we saw that afternoon was indeed a UFO, but happened to just disguise itself as a jet when it realised we were running out of fear?? But what haunts me to this day and makes me anxious being outside is if this was a UFO, why did it come towards my friends and I?? Did it mean us harm?? Or was it simply just observing us?? I just don't know...

My dad (40s??) and I (26NB) have never been close. He didn’t know about me until I was 4 and didn’t meet me until I was 12. When he met me, he already had a fiance (R) and a stepson (B) I had a really horrible childhood, my mother has BPD and CPTSD and I was a teen pregnancy. She was horribly abusive, and still is. I’ve gone no contact with her since she tried to tell me I should let her and my husband conceive a baby (this was in response to me mentioning wanting a surrogate. She genuinely thought it was a good idea since “it would be free that way”) She had no support and my only saving grace was her boyfriend. He left her eventually due to the abuse, and for a while he kept in touch with me but eventually that stopped too. I have two younger brothers who I raised basically alone, as my mom was often out at bars or working, but was kicked out at 16. Before I was officially kicked out, there was an incident in which she struck me with a spatula and there was court and police and it was really bad. I wasn’t allowed to see her for 7 months. During that time I stayed with my dad. I barely knew him, and he had (since apparently wanting to include me in his life) moved into an other apartment to accommodate his growing family, but didn’t have a room for me. So for those 7 months I shared a room with my 11 year old step brother. I told him I didn’t want to live with him anymore, so he brought me to live with my boyfriend at the time (32m. I was 17) We didn’t talk for almost a decade after that. I tried to reach out to my step mom, but we never managed to make a plan. I did have dinner with him once about 6 years ago so he could meet my fiance (now husband) Well last December I was in a bad place. I had moved in with family to help them out not realizing why the rest of my family had left them out to dry. They were horribly abusive, and have since lost custody of their kids. I left for obvious reasons, but during one of the darkest points while living there I tried to call my dad because I needed a parent. He met up with me under the plan to have dinner, but just drove around and then got new school supplies for my little siblings. He offered to help me move as long as I pay him back. I found a new place, sent it to him, and asked if we could meet to talk about borrowing moving costs. He never got back to me so I just saved it all myself. It’s fine, I did it, no worries. I asked him if he could help me with moving since we only had one car and it would be safer to get everything out in one go due to the reason for relocating, and he did! Then he ghosted me. I tried to reach out a few more times, and nothing. Until this past weekend, which was my birthday. I reached out and invited him to Applebees for lunch. The whole family went, and during the conversation I got upset due to my dad not knowing what trans people are (like thought trans men were born male and vice versa) when I’ve been out and medically transitioning for years. A few days later I texted him asking what I’ve done wrong and why he won’t let me have a relationship with my siblings (he refuses to even give them my number for emergencies) I also asked him for an explanation about why he didn’t try to be around when I was a kid, because he has never ever talked to me about it. He didn’t respond for a while but when he did he said “I dont even know how to respond. Like wtf. Grow up? Fuck off? That doesn't seem right. But thats how i feel. And no, i dont actually want you anywhere near the Cs cuz your a friggin mess. Ugh. So far i havent responded cuz i got nothing good to say.” He meant to send it to my step mom. When he was my age he had a child in another state he was neglecting but im the one who needs to grow up. He also still has not apologized for saying that, and he doubled down with “what’s done is done” and “that’s how I feel” He also called me “unpredictable” because of my “attitude” at apple bees. The attitude was after 10 minutes of trying to get the basic fact of what trans people are by definition across I accidentally snapped a little at my 14 year old brother when he said trans women should not be allowed in women’s shelters. I did not yell at him, but I did snap a bit (my words were something like “wow that’s not ok at all I need to step outside”) and then excuse myself to cool down. When I came back, I apologized to my brother and made sure he knew I was not mad at him and the situation was a bit much for me. I was wrong and he is a kid. It hurt that my own siblings hadn’t been taught basic info about trans people though and that his response to hearing about a trans person is to think badly like that. I’m honestly so fucking done with my dad, he wasn’t there when I was a kid and I don’t need him here now. My little siblings really want a relationship with me though, and I feel stuck. He’s not making it easy to connect with them, the oldest was born when I was 14, and he says me and him need to “build a bridge” before I can spend time with them unsupervised. I have never hurt children, in fact I am the one who called CPS for my maternal brothers and my cousins and got them away from their abusive parents. I don’t know if I can emotionally handle being kept at arms length by my own dad after what i suffered through while living with my mom. So should I cut him off for good and considered myself an orphan? I literally raised myself so it feels that way. EDIT I should add that I only knew he found out about me at 4 yesterday. Before this past week he had just shown up and pretended it was fine with no explanation or apology for missing so much of my life.

I play advanced mode and I'm literally unable to progress this game anymore. I tried normal and it feels like a sick joke, it's like journey mode of terraria. While in advanced it was fun until I hit the Valo wall, the horse rider, the magian boss in goliath wall as well and then the bird in the air map. I literally get destroyed in a couple of shots and I don't have neither the motivation or strentgh to keep going. And I kept going on and on and on and on. I literally died probably hundreds of times. It just feel like a total hopeless endeavour. What the hell I'm supposed to do? Valo seems to randomly attack and then hides behind the map I don't see him and attcks me with that super fast attack dash attack, cannot avoid it, even if I click the button in time, too late anyway, (not the samarai one but the dash one).
The rider is okaish until goes berskerk and I literally cannot react fast enough in time and two or three hits and I'm gone... so much for methodically fighting him and taking zero damage.
The damn mage and bird simply hit too hard, the wind and whatever trickeries they use and again I die in a couple of hits.
I'm so damn exhausted, it's not even funny. Like I literally cannot progress any further, I simply cannot.
What do? Is there any solution to this? Or just call it quits and that's it for me and afterimage.

Sony Pictures and private equity firm Apollo Global Management have sent a letter to the Paramount Global board expressing interest in acquiring the company for about $26 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
The expression of formal interest comes as David Ellison’s Skydance Media, backed by private equity firms RedBird Capital and KKR, awaits word from Paramount’s special committee on whether the panel will recommend its bid to acquire the company to controlling shareholder Shari Redstone.
Skydance Media hasn’t heard anything from the special committee yet, though it expects to find out the special committee’s recommendations on next moves as early as Thursday, according to people familiar with the matter. Paramount’s panel could recommend approving Skydance’s offer or rejecting it, or it could come back to the Skydance consortium with alternatives or changes.
Spokespeople for Paramount, Redstone’s National Amusements, the special committee and Skydance declined to comment. Sony and Apollo did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Paramount’s options
If the special committee wants to continue negotiating with Skydance, or Redstone wants more time to consider her options while still talking to Ellison’s company, the sides could extend an exclusivity window that ends Friday. It’s also possible Skydance could walk away from the deal, which it has been negotiating on for months.
If Skydance walks away, Redstone could turn her attention to negotiating a deal with Sony and Apollo, which would give all common shareholders a premium payout on their shares.
Paramount Global shares jumped more than 12% on the news that Sony and Apollo submitted a letter formalizing its interest, earlier reported by The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
Redstone initially rejected an offer by Apollo in favor of exclusive talks with Skydance. Redstone still prefers a deal that would keep Paramount together, as Skydance’s offer would, a person familiar with the matter said. A private equity firm would likely tear the company apart through a series of divestitures to extract value.
The Sony-Apollo offer would make the former the majority shareholder and the latter a minority holder, according to a person familiar with the letter. That could also assuage Redstone’s fears that a new buyer could break apart the company, because Sony is another large Hollywood player and the owner of Sony Pictures.
A $26 billion offer for Paramount Global values the company higher than the company’s current $22 billion enterprise value.
Still, the special committee would likely want to review details on financing and get assurances that there are no regulatory challenges in merging with Sony, a non-U.S. entity. To do this, the special committee would have to inform the Skydance consortium that it wants to end its exclusive talks, which would likely drive Skydance away as a bidder, according to people familiar with the matter.
That move would be applauded by a number of Class B shareholders, including Gamco, Matrix Asset Advisors and Aspen Sky Trust, who have all publicly expressed dismay about the Skydance transaction. Skydance’s “best and final” offer included merging its entertainment assets with Paramount, raising $3 billion to buy out common shareholders at about a 30% premium on an unaffected $11 per share price, and paying Redstone nearly $2 billion for her controlling stake.
Redstone could also argue she’s more comfortable with pushing forward at Paramount Global without a sale. Earlier this week, the board removed Bob Bakish as the company’s CEO. Installing a new CEO and giving investors a new plan forward would be essential to assuage a restless common shareholder base, who would likely argue the Apollo-Sony bid, if real, is in the best interest of shareholders.

Me (37trans) and my partner Gorgeous George (49trans) have been dating for almost a year. Gorgeous George has two long-distance girlfriends who he’s out of town visiting right now. In the past I’ve struggled with feeling a drastic dropoff in communication when he’s visiting his partners, as well as getting sent videos of him doing kink scenes with other partners and his other partners texting me to cancel plans instead of him doing it.
Before this trip, he proactively reached out about negotiating communication stuffs so I wouldn’t feel negatively while he was gone. He’ll be gone for a week. I opened the conversation by saying my ideal was:
A) When texting, give me a heads up if he’s free to chat so I can manage my expectations around response time
B) Two phone calls
This is kind of when it went off the rails. He said that that was stretching him too thin, he couldn’t promise the heads up about timing, and that it was unfair to expect his other partners to be okay with the phone calls. His rationale was that I didn’t want him talking to his other partners when we’re having an evening together, my response was that if we lived together or were staying in a hotel for a week I would expect that he’d want half an hour to say hi to his other people while I was showering/going for a walk/whatever.
It ended up with him saying ‘It’s going to cause problems but if that’s what you want I’ll have to make it happen.’ I tried to see if he had a counterproposal, but he said no.
I’m pretty new to poly and now I’m doubting myself!! Were my asks way out of left field? Is it unusual to expect a partner to offer a counterproposal if your initial ask isn’t ideal for them? I feel confused, help!

• Background of Myself
  • Hello guys, I remember reading towards the end of the book to come back to the subreddit and give insight, so that is what this post is. I am 21 years old, and currently in college for electrical engineering. My athletic background consists of football, basketball, BJJ, and golf. No military experience. My PR B/S/D maxes respectively in lbs were 235/345/385 and I am 6'3" and weigh roughly 200 lbs. Prior to running TB, my current maxes had been about 220/315/375 I do not think I had ever run over 3-4 miles, and I started with base-building from TB2. BB got me to a point where I could run an hour (painfully) without walking, and I'd guess at the time a 9-10 min/mile pace. Immediately following BB I had picked up green protocol, which leads me to the next section.
• Foundation
  • Capacity - Because of the fact I had just ran base building, and the fact that a friend asked me to participate in a marathon (time constraint), I ended up running the abbreviated version of Capacity. I just used the standard operator template because I do not consider myself intermediate or advanced, and always ran towards the high end of the LSS ranges. I also only did 3 dead lift sets per week. At the end of this, my endurance had greatly improved, and strength was more or less maintained (possibly due to not eating enough). I should also note, I did ramp up the mileage to high at one point, and due to join issues, missed a couple LSS sessions but that is about it.
  • Velocity - This block had gone smooth for the first 3 blocks, I don't recall missing any sessions in these, and I used standard Fighter, and deadlifted once a week based on how I was feeling. Once I got to the fourth block, for SE I used the barbell cluster found in TB2. However, in this block my achilles got very irritated, and it hurt to even walk which was due to too many miles in a short period of time. I had moved one of my long run to a sunday because I didn't have time on the saturday, and then I did my monday LSS, then Tuesday hills, and it left me beat up. After this I decided to take a week rest. I cycled a couple of times, but the week I took off was extremely busy in school so that is all I ended up doing. That following saturday (2 weeks before my marathon) I decided I'd go and run as long as I could tolerate, and ended up hitting the 19 mile run prescribed in the program. I missed the 12 mile run the next day because I did not want to further irritate my ankle, which led me into my taper. The taper was standard, and by marathon day, I felt pretty good. I ended up running the marathon in 3:58. Velocity caused my endurance and speed to become the best it has ever been, however my strength suffered. I would guess my current maxes to be around 185/245/355.
  • Outcome - Since I am not going into selection, and do not need to peak, I ended up just skipping outcome into continuation. I was going to just go through and do it initially, but I will be moving in a couple weeks, and into a rough area, so I did not want to worry about rucking once I get there, along with having a bit of time to settle. I may return to outcome once summer is over, so we will see.
  • Advice - Overall my greatest pieces of advice for this is to be consistent, listen to your body, and leave your ego at the door. Consistency should be fairly obvious, but I will say its really amazing how much the work accumulates overtime. You don't have to make every session, and every session doesn't have to be perfect, you just need to make a majority of the sessions with good effort. Next is listening to your body, even if it means deviating from the program a bit. I really wanted to follow the program to a T, and although I could feel my achilles bothering me, I decided to power through it anyway. Because of this, I missed a week and a half of training, when it could have been a single session, so I think it is good to keep that in mind. Lastly, one I struggle with is checking your ego at the door. I am going into continuation right now with an emphasis on strength to get my numbers back up, and boy do I feel like a pussy in there. Its really easy to slap on more weight than you need, or run faster because others are watching, but what you really need to do is stick to the plan. Run at that LSS pace. Lift at the appropriate weight. You will progress much faster that way, and reduce chance of injury.
• Continuation
  • On to continuation, this week I started doing Hybrid/Op. I chose this because strength is my biggest pursuit right now from what I lost. I had thought about doing Op/Black, but I enjoy LSS quite a bit, so to keep that heavier in rotation I am doing Hybrid/Op. Once I get back to where I want to be strength wise, just regular Hybrid will most likely become my baseline. The fitness level that Combat Arms have is very appealing to me so my main goal in training is to become fit to that level. If you guys reading this have any advice for continuation or my further training, I would take it, and if any of you have any questions for me let me know. Thank you for your time.

I'm thinking Miku Miku oo ee oo

Hatsune Miku, or The First Sound From the Future, also know by her codenamed, CV01, was the first Japanese VOCALOID to be both developed and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc.. She was initially released in August 2007 for the VOCALOID2 engine and was the first member of the Character Vocal Series. She was the seventh VOCALOID overall, as well as the second VOCALOID2 vocal released to be released for the engine. Miku has taken on many different forms and appearances during her time being a Vocaloid, but she is most consistantly portrayed as an android.

Preface

Miku is in the public domain to some extent, meaning anyone can make a song using her. Due to this, it would be very disingenuous to give her feats based on some random YouTube video. Therefore, this respect thread will only include "canon" Miku material. The canonicity of Miku will be limited to her official appearances in VOCALOID, Project Diva, Sony animations, the Hatsune Miku YouTube channel, and official advertisements.

Strength

• Able to break free from giant chains
• She has boxing experience
• Sings so loud, a giant cat monster explodes The cat monster was the size of Japan

• Miku explains that the only way for her to truly die is if her concept is forgotten

• She does this again, manifesting her size to be larger than a planet

• Simply stepping on the ground causes Miku to warp a city
• Miku's voice starts warping reality
• Miku changes the appearance of the world at will

Meta

• Mkiu breaks the 4th wall by holding the screen
• Miku breaches the 4th wall

Possible scaling

• When Miku gives life to the Earth, this was due to the Earth's "worthlessness", however, the lyrics claim that it was all of creation that was worthless
• The song then implies Miku would save all of creation from worthlessness
• This is further supported by her durability feat of reviving herself and powering up the world. The lyrics of the song where she powers up the world have two contexts, however in each context, she is referred to as a goddess of fate, which was why she powered up the world

I’m desperate for some help here. I’m sorry for the long post, but I really appreciate anyone willing to take the time to listen and/or point me in the right direction. 🙏
I am the fiance of a very wonderful and loving father who is in an extremely high conflict custody battle. This case is so high conflict, I don’t believe there are even any textbooks or case studies that would even be comparable to the level of obsession and commitment that my fiancé’s ex-wife is inflicting on both him and myself. She has harassed and threatened every attorney who has ever represented him to prevent him from having fair representation. If she doesn’t get her way, she immediately reports them to the Bar. She has filed numerous false police reports against him and his former attorneys, and because her allegations have no merit, they cannot further assist her. She immediately goes above their superiors to try to report them and have them fired. She has also harmed me in my personal life as well. She has contacted a family member in an effort to triangulate him from me.
It’s been six years, and his ex-wife is getting worse and this case is even more high conflict than it was when they began. His ex refuses to stop stalking and harassing us and has even managed to obtain IP addresses in which she is using to geotrack my boyfriend and she has discovered where we are now, before we made the official announcement since we are still back and forth between Tennessee and North Carolina so the move is still in the process. It’s terrifying and she just won’t stop.
I tried to get a no contact order, but sadly, I don’t have the mental strength to stand before her in court, so I never followed through with it due to my own personal anxiety due to her trauma. I am not a confrontational person and struggle dealing with the negativity.
I have witnessed and lived through her psychological and emotional abuse toward their minor children, and the lack of empathy and level of sadism and psychosis she has within her in order to continue to use them as pawns in her horrific games and commitment to keep the conflict alive and well, has taken such an emotional toll on me, as the children’s fathers’s fiance and a positive bonus figure in their lives, I, too, am falling victim to her abuse and going through one of the darkest depressions of my life due to her continuous harassments, threats and harm she’s done to myself through triangulation and through my well-being in the real world. Of course, the same is happening to my fiance as well.
She is a Cluster B personality and is so emotionally draining, his attorneys have quit on him because her conflict and harassment towards them as well is too much to bear, so they give up since the money isn’t worth dealing with HER - not my friend - but SHE is preventing him from getting any legal representation. The last attorney’s paralegal said she was scared to sign any documents for the case for my fiancé’s ex may even go after her as she has with the attorney. She is also very wealthy and can our lawyer him, so it’s been a very difficult battle and we just want to keep the peace.
We need support. Desperately. We need to find someone to talk to, and as his fiancee, I am determined to try to help him as best I can so we can navigate through this.
He is the kindest soul and the most precious father those kids could ever ask for. He doesn’t serve any of this; neither do his children or myself, for that matter.
With all this being said, can anyone provide me any direction on any organizations and father advocacy groups in the area? I understand their case is in NC, but Chattanooga is our home now and we desperately need to find a support system here and to connect with other fathers who have gone through and/or are going through similar situations, for we are feeling so alone and defeated right now in the harm that be is inflicted on us by his very toxic, jealous (she is infuriated he is moving on and has found happiness in our relationship, which I understand isn’t uncommon) and a support system of other victims of abuse in the family court system and just having to deal with high conflict cases, in general, would do us so much good in our healing and to navigate through this as best we can.

2) Was Vile Thieving Bird's presence at the estuary a Nightmare version, or the real thing?
3) Did anyone else find VTB's actions incredibly suspicious? Why wouldn't it have eaten the fruit, or gone after Sunny's weaver lineage attributes?
4) Can people's previous memories of Sunny (and thus his fate) be reclaimed, or is it lost forever? Would Sunny even want to?
