Heya, here looking to meet some good friends I can be myself with and hopefully get close.
Also, not looking to call. If we play a game sure. But calling just to talk triggers my anxiety bad unless only you are actually speaking.
First, I tend to be a bit flirty. Of course not when it's not welcome. Not intended to be creepy, if that was what I was looking for I'd use a different sub.
Second, mentally ill. Diagnosed with depression and anxiety. A friend believes I have PTSD, ADHD, and a few others as well. Along with likely autism. I also have sleep apnea and recently started sleeping with a CPAP machine to help with it. I take medicine and all that. Inconsistently therapy.
Hobby wise I'm not too unique. I play a lot of games, largely board games and such though I also enjoy visual novels and other games I won't say here. Oh and Borderlands, and roguelikes in general. I like horror movies, often bad ones but good ones are fun too. Anime is something I've been on and off into for years, same with manga. I'd love to watch things together sometime. I've been on and off writing for a long time, short stories. Usually like a page long because longer is difficult for me. I'd like to learn some new hobbies as well.
I try to be a decent friend, I've failed at that in the past. Super empathetic. Animals are the best things in the world. Protective and worrier about the people I care about. Recently realized I'm likely aromantic.

As the title suggests I can't seem to "learn" new heroes I find cool. I am rep 13, most of it is in Vargiani Guard with 11. I'm trying to pick up new heroes to play and level up to get some fashion on them. I can't play/learn them in multiplayer. It feels like I'm just smashing my head against a wall while trying to do combos. I will say that playing Varigian gave me bad mechanics because I'm trying to superior block with other heroes that do not have it. She is IMO super OP she is way too forgiving. I try to look up guides and combos on YouTube, but my brains end up just shutting off, and in every multiplayer game I end up losing. After all, I'm a hindrance to my team cause I am always dying. after all that I get frustrated and say "Wow I wasted all this steel to just lose?" and go back to Varigian Guard. It makes it so that I "can't" learn because when I play something new I just see "Death Timer #" and "Press A to Respawn" how can I learn like that?
Is this normal the way I'm feeling? I will take any suggestions Thanks in advance.

I have an SNES connected to my tv in my room. I have a copy of super mario world that I thought had an issues because it would twitch/jump around a bit visually when I played it, but none of my other cartridges do that. Today I bought another copy of it, that has been tested, and it does it too. I'll add a link, but what could be causing this? Why is it only super mario world? Is this a common issue?

I was playing dragon ball xeno2 on pc and I use a ps5 controller and it just stopped working the only inputs I can put in are the buttons and when I go into training it says i need to use the dpat to make super moves and I tried using different cables and controllers but nothing is working

Hey guys, I’ve got a New 3ds with a cfw installed after following 3ds.hacks.guide.
I’m wanting to play the GBA Tony hawks games and rebind the L and R buttons to A and Y on the 3ds and the gba’s A button to X (this matches the PS1/PS2 button layout of Tony hawk games.
I’ve tried using Open AGB Firm and it’s good but it’s annoying to reboot the console every time I wanna play it since I have a 128gb card which takes almost 30 seconds to load in. Also it doesn’t seem like I can rebind X since it loads the config menu. I also tried mgba but noticed a lot of slowdown in THPS 3. I do like that I can access this from the home menu though.
Has anyone else got a better solution for playing these games with modified controls?

Yesterday I saw here on reddit that 4 devs most probably queue together (which is actually super dumb, cause instead of each dev giving spray for 11 players per match with matched happening at the same time giving total 44 players per match, they queue in 4 and give it only to 8 players), in most games when someone is queueing in premade party the matchmaking tries to match them against same size premade. So I'm looking for 3 players to queue with me in order to finally play with devs today.

As the title says im currently playing a lvl 50 game its super fun, my group is currently fighting a very improved vecna and he casts prismatic wall and our cleric/ paladin just walks through all the layers and shrugs off 50d6 damage and a planar shift and knocks vecna out.

It's no secret that Pokémon has a lost favor with older games for being stagnant, and even degenerating in some areas. XY, SwSh, and especially SV were not received all that well. For me personally, ORAS and Sun and Moon are the only games of the 3D era that caught my attention (never got around to trying Legends: Arceus, so I won't comment on that).
Even though it's likely, I hope Game Freak/TPC/Nintendo don't just continue to let the series stay in this limbo where there's little actual love put into the games since millions of little kids will buy them no matter what stats they're in. I want them to actually improve upon each game, and grow the fanbase by attracting new and old fans alike.
My ideas are:

• Seasonal/Side Events: After the postgame, there'll be occasional non-DLC side stories. They don't need to be anything massive, but they could be a good way at having people who drop the games once the story is finished come back every once in a while.
• A different story structure: Maybe the player plays as a member of the International Police investing a variety of strange phenomena all tying back into one issue? Maybe they're an ex-member of an evil team trying to redeem themselves, like in Colosseum? Now my idea doesn't necessarily insist on getting rid of a battling challenge or antagonist teams, but at least doing something new with those ideas could be cool. Alola experimented with this through the trials, but nothing like them was ever done again. The post Gen-6 games made the Teams different from mafias and would-be world destroyers, but aside from Team Skull they're all a bit goofy and not really threatening at all.
• A plot with maturity and depth: Not 'mature' as in super edgy scenarios, cussing, etc. For example - and slightly branching off my last point - an eco-terrorist group fighting against corporate oligarchs. There can be commentary on topics like climate change and environmentalism, while leaving room open for antagonism through the group go too far in their endeavors. NOTE, the plot points don't have to be super political like that. It's just one example. I liked how Alola touched upon parental neglect/abuse, so the topics could even be more personal like that too.
• Build upon the open world/segmented worlds: SV's open world was atrocious. Legends Arceus's segmented world appears to be better liked, but still has some issues. I won't say drop them entirely, because the idea of a big world full of visible Pokémon to explore was no doubt every kid Pokémon fan's dream. Just don't repeat the mistakes SV's open world have. Give the world an appealing art style, don't create settlements with a bunch of buildings we can't enter, implement level scaling for certain battles, etc.
• Characters: One of the weakest aspects of Pokémon across most of the games are the characters. I keep going back to Alola, but I loved SM because Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine all have depth. I heard the DLC characters from SV have a lot of depth too, so I hope they keep improving on this front. As for the franchise as a whole, most gym leaders play zero or minimal part in the story, the Champion often fucks around and does nothing all game, character dynamics tend to rely on tell-don't-show, and whatever relevant characters there are become hollow shells once the story's up - like May in ORAS.
• Difficulty Options: a common defense at how easy the later gen games have been is 'well it's a kid's game, of course it'd be easy'. That makes no sense to me. 1) being a kid doesn't mean you never like challenge. 2) GF could have the players choose a difficulty. You don't want much of a challenge? Play on easy mode. Want a mix of ease and challenge? Normal mode. Want competitive level challenge? Play on hard mode.
• Side Quests: Side quests to build up the world and add depth to characters would do a massive service to the games. There are some side quests here and there throughout the main games, but they're usually something like 'Damn I wish I could see an Eevee. Oh you have one? Wow, cool! Have this item as thanks!'. You don't enter a local competition with your rival, explore ruins with a team of archaeologists, or anything interesting like that.
• Postgame: When the Postgame is reached, chunks of the world and new sidequests should unlock.

I posted this in the R6 main sub but no answer, no nothing.
My game keeps crashing/closing without any warning. I tried everything, from up to date Graphics card, nothing else open, Anti-Virus isn't bothering, no other game does this.
I only need to be 10-30 seconds in an Online match and it just goes bye. Tutorial, VsAi, MapTut, doesn't do anything but online does.
Instantly closing, even faster than me clicking on exit to desktop.
I never used cheats, hacks or anything. Ever since last Windows Update and R6 Security Update it does that. I just wanna play aome casual with friends but it doesn't let me.
Please help, Google only recommends updating Graphics card, which is already up to date..

here is my final conclusion about shen and the game after having tested out several builds and playstyles
i was right about the fact, that shen only works with guardian and support items like vow and solari. full tank shen proved to be pure placebo, as well as the jungle role in general. its all placebo when you win, if your teammates dont stall out enough or play clean enough, you are not able to do something anymore, even if youre fed. why is that:
because shen is not a pure engage champ as tanks like malphite or zac, youre not allowed to play him in solo lanes or jungle. you have to always take the support role and build as a support-tank. you dont have the same flanking capabilities as a real jungler and no true wave- and camp clear. its all forced into his kit if you buy tiamat or bamis, but they dont synergize with him in general. then you at least can hard peel for your dds and if you dont waste the slot of going jungle or top, youre the one that can ult the jungler if hes in a fight in the jungle or about to gank a lane. then you can either kill the tower or do objectives quicker and push for better snowball.
if i win as a top shen or jungle shen, i win from the fact, that the matchmaking gave me a team with a better comp and macro that can compensate for me playing shen top or jungle. if i had played support shen instead, i can pick heal or exhaust naturally without forcing it on top by giving up teleport. anyways, going shen top without teleport is even worse, because now the splitpushing became even more disgusting. death timers are too low in general and people are not getting punished enough for dying too much, especially split push top laners.
so again, shen full tank is a forced gimmick, shen jungle is a forced gimmick. its never the optimal choice, only support shen is optimal with guardian and picking heal or exhaust at the same time. the reason why i thought shen full tank works is because of placebo, where i got a generous teamcomp and the enemy team had bad players and a relatively bad comp, but you have no inbuilt resistances so you will never be as tanky as a malphite, orn, zac, singed, skarner.
the other thing is and why i quit the game, is because literally all players when it comes to building and lane choice, dont think for themselves, but listen to false advertisements of content creators that pull random builds out their ass. THEN if you win with their stupid builds or whatever, you think its good or "meta", but its all placebo at the end, where you got the more favorable team that compensates for you running this random setup + a worse enemy team that is as stupid.
so i heard that shen is supposed to be played with hob and redemption, but it cant be more valuable than actually going support shen, picking heal or exhaust with guardian, running the whole resolve tree that perfecetly synergizes with shen. why the hell would you go for hail of blades, when you give up guardian and the whole resolve tree? it makes no sense and its a gimmick. and then they make it seem as meta or something, but its complete nonsense. just as ashe support for example. ashe support meta is the biggest joke in history in league of legends, because you give up the slot of a real supporter and you force an adc into the support role. i dont know if you understand me, but this makes the game super random in general.
just because your botlane is too stupid to build any form of sustain doesnt make full ad shen (for example) meta if hes able to oneshot the adc.
so thats my final statement
shen support is the most viable from a logical point of view, anything else is actually super forced because he 1. lacks inbuilt resistances to go full tank and 2. doesnt have inbuilt waveclear to be played in a solo lane. what he actually has is a combination of disengage, peel, tankiness and a good amount of supportive damage. bamis is forced, tiamat is forced, any damage item is forced, redemption is forced, because solari and vow is more optimal and redemption is an item for other support champs with actual healing in their kit.
solo q is super random ,anyone rather listens to false advertisements of streamers and coaches and run their random builds. the matchmaking is a joke, diamond players literally seem like silver players at this point and im tired of working my ass off, be the only guy with positive kda and still lose, because the matchmaking forces an auto loss on me out of nowhere for no reason.

Apparently, one of my players is a massive fan of the Fallout saga. I didn't play a lot so I am not super knowledgeable on its lore. However, I may drop one joke or two during our session since it is going to be a light comedic one. The scenario would be an abandoned manor with some magic inside. I am watching the series, but I was wondering if you can suggest some not so typical references that may help me to make some laughs. Any suggestions?

Background: Husband (34) and I (30) are in the process of recovering after about 8 years of his serial lying and cheating. We have two small kids, built a wonderful life for ourselves, and I really pride myself on our family unit.
After his last bout of lying about women a little over a year ago, he started DBT therapy and took it very seriously. He ACTUALLY seems to have changed. He recognizes his past trauma that was unhealthy. He is an Army veteran and so there’s definitely a lot to unpack there, which he’s finally doing. He’s been working so, so hard for about 10 months. I see the effort and I HAVE seen some really positive changes as well. I want to give him credit for that because it did take so much work for him to get the help he needed. He’s doing great, for the first time ever.
However, I had to leave for a military obligation (I also am serving) and have been gone for about 6 months. We all visit at least once a month…but that’s where all the problems came to my attention.
I’m not that happy to see him whenever I do. It’s not that I’m unhappy or that I dread it…he’s just kind of a guy that’s in my house with the kids. I don’t miss him. I’m happy to see my children and miss them painfully every single day, so I don’t think I’m emotionally entirely broken. But when my husband and I reunite, I can’t even remember to kiss him and when I do it’s just so I can check it off my checklist of stuff I know “normal” couples do. I don’t feel like I can really be intimate (I’ve tried. It feels like I have to talk myself into it every time.) I don’t feel any desire or attraction. I can’t imagine making out with him. It’s almost like I still am living in a “me vs him” mentality and being intimate would be like sleeping with the enemy. How fucked is that?
We have almost nothing to talk about and everything, to me, seems so forced and awkward. He tries to keep them going because he’s trying to connect with me, but I just never feel like having a fake conversation. He never makes me laugh. I’m super silly, but I don’t feel like we can play together or joke or really do anything. We just talk about the kids and then ask each other dry questions about our day before I can’t take it anymore and make up an excuse to stop talking. It’s all taking a toll and I feel like he doesn’t even know who I am. I struggle to even care enough to want to know who he is now. I thought I knew him, but apparently I had no idea.
He says he feels unwanted because he’s always missing me and happy to see me but I’m cold and physically unavailable. I don’t even hug him. I told him that if he feels unwanted that he should try being me…I’ve always been 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place to whatever girl he was trying to be with at the moment. I can’t get these types of thoughts out of my head. I don’t think he loves me even though he shows me every day with how hard he’s working in therapy.
He sends me gifts, flowers and seems to think of me often, but when it comes down to it I struggle to meet him halfway. I almost look at his kind gestures like he doesn’t mean it…it’s only just so he can say he’s tried. I say thank you but I don’t feel anything…
I don’t know why I can’t bring myself to loosen up or to love him again. For the first time, he’s actually trying. He’s doing everything I needed from him the entire time. I’m frustrated with myself.
I’m away until at least January and he’s home with the kids, so divorce isn’t an option. I’d love to use this time away as a way to try and build us back up. I can’t help but feel like I’m the problem now. He’s doing all this work and I’m just so shut down I can’t even really feel the results for myself.
I WANT to want him. I want to laugh and like him. I want to get lost in conversation…I wish he was my friend again but I just cannot get myself to allow him to even see me be goofy. It feels too vulnerable. My trust is so far gone that I don’t even CARE if I’m being lied to or not (I don’t think I am, for the record). I just live day to day and try not to think about it all.
Has anybody been through anything similar? I want to reconcile. I want to recover. But I’m in my own way. How can I get through this? I don’t even know who I am…who he is…how can I help myself? Are there any specific methods you used to love again? Any thought processes that particularly helped you? Books? Podcasts? Talking points? I am open to anything.
