2024.04.24 05:35 Abagail-loves-boxing Why is EA Afraid to put their little lazy noggin to work?
LONG POST, my rant basically submitted by Abagail-loves-boxing to needforspeed [link] [comments] So it's no surprise that the word has been going around that nfs 2015's servers are gonna shut down. It's happened with the crew out of nowhere. Apparently also there's something with ghost that they don't work on nfs games anymore or sumn like that. We should all as a community work together and fight that EA should at least make a patch that's offline. It's not like they haven't done it before, I have played nfs undercover and pro street on the wii and trust me, they're not online, lol. So why can't they just do that? EA is just a lazy team in general. Also, I know there is a thing with cars and their partnerships or something like that, which I give a big "F U" to them. And many people play this game till this day. EA didn't even bother making an offline mode when they put thw game out...stupidity I tell you. So much money but don't put their noggin to work. That's just how you know EA is just in it for the money, correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I see it. When the time comes, let's fight it. Let's fight for this games freedom as a community and keep fighting, EA can only ignore the NFS fan base for so long, right? I know, this game isn't the best game, but for some people I know it holds memories. A game like this shouldn't be trashed if it's loved and carries nostalgia. I know things aren't meant to last forever but if we could do something about it beforehand then I ask as a community, let's try. Thank you for reading, If any comments, I would love to see your take on this. |

2024.04.08 00:58 TheNFSProYT Need for Speed Unbound Volume. 8 update: Cops VS Racers - Make playable Cops driveable in free-roam and not just in a dedicated PVP playlist mode
Hey Criterion! I have just one thing I need for y'all to know. And this is about the Volume. 8 update regarding Cops VS Racers in Need for Speed Unbound. submitted by TheNFSProYT to needforspeed [link] [comments] Me and a lot of my friends have been wanting playable Cops VS Racers return to a mainstream Need for Speed game since NFS Rivals. And while it is amazing that you're finally bringing this back. But, we're wondering whether you'll make playable Cop cars usable in free-roam, or just as a dedicated PVP playlist mode for Lakeshore Online, or even both. So what I want y'all to do for when Volume. 8 comes is that you can also provide us with as many cars as possible with the ability of having a free-roam Cops mode where if someone is in a heated pursuit and another player is in a Cop car (e.g. Ford Crown Victoria, Dodge Charger SRT8, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2017, Chevrolet Camaro Z28 2014 undercover, Ford F-150 Raptor 2017 etc.) or someone in a Cop car can simply just turn on their sirens to initiate the chase. Just like what Need for Speed Rivals does. So all I'm asking is for y'all to not only make this update a dedicated PVP playlist mode-only feature, but to also make this possible for free-roam too in Lakeshore Online because that would make the purpose of free-roaming knowing that you as the hunter or you as the hunted no matter what will be very interesting and would keep players in your game for a long time because it would just be so fun trying to bust your friends and other players in free-roam along with the AI so the purpose of risk VS reward will be a great aspect once again. Oh and also make the payouts for Cop chases more balanced for cash and XP, because at the moment, taking down Cops don't really give that much money to benefit from escaping the chase overall. Just watch this video clip as an example of what free-roam playable and driveable Cop cars can look like if you proceed on making this update a free-roam addition as well as a dedicated PVP mode. Your communication with us has been undeniably brilliant recently! And I hope you take this suggestion of free-roam playable Cops into consideration. Yours sincerely, WSP. This premium product is designed to make your range-shooting experience smoother and safer. In this roundup article, we will take a closer look at the ins and outs of the Browning Range Bag, its features, benefits, and more. So, gear up and dive in to discover the perfect range companion that will elevate your shooting game. The Top 13 Best Browning Range Bag
ReviewsđBrowning 45-Minute Fireproof Gun Safe for 30 Long Guns and 9 Handgunshttps://preview.redd.it/jjiciwypw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12e9d91151410e859a36bab3b06b2e469b678bc9 The Browning BX30 Gun Safe was a staple in my daily life for a few weeks now. Its 35-inch width was a game-changer as it allowed me to easily store 30 long guns, something other 30-gun safes couldn't offer. I am fascinated by the electronic lock that lets you create a personalized entry code, making it more secure and user-friendly. One feature that stood out is the raised floor, which provided extra space for some of my smaller items. However, one thing I found less impressive was the fire protection, which lasted only 45 minutes at 1,200°F. On the downside, while the 14-ga steel exterior provided a nice grey hammer-textured finish, it didn't do much for the security aspect when compared to higher gauge safes. Furthermore, although the exterior was big enough for my needs, the interior could have been roomier to hold more of my handguns. So, overall, the Browning BX30 Gun Safe was a reliable and secure option, especially at its affordable price point. However, I wanted a bit more room and potentially sturdier construction for added security. đPadded Range Ready Trainer Bag for Easy Access and Storagehttps://preview.redd.it/57iagy6qw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=874986d17c3acc0471f8c35e2794b37a1bee93e2 I recently stumbled upon the 5.11 Tactical Range Ready Trainer Bag and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my range trips. The bag's large loop front panel for patches/ID and left side pull-down pouch with internal org, name tape, and dual rear zippered pouches make it incredibly versatile. One feature that stood out to me was the quick access front internal elastic mag/accessory panel, along with internal removable dividers and elastic bands. This allows me to carry all my loaded gear easily and quickly whenever I need it. The fully padded construction with a PE board base and underside lid elastic bands also adds a layer of protection for my valuable equipment. While I was initially impressed by the YKK lockable zippers, I found that the Velcro flap cover could have been more functional. I had to constantly secure the flap with the strap when I needed to move the bag around, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, I highly recommend the 5.11 Tactical Range Ready Trainer Bag to anyone in need of a reliable, spacious, and functional range bag. Just make sure to pay attention to the Velcro flap cover as it could be improved. đRugged Browning Shooting Range Bag with Padded Detachable Shoulder Straphttps://preview.redd.it/bracrqsqw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=04f45944deaf0b974f5bddf1b8f41b7c7e6fa436 As a reviewer, I've had the opportunity to use the Browning Black &Gold Range Bag in my daily life. The first thing that caught my attention was the 600-Denier ripstop polyester construction, which adds a sense of durability to the bag. The zipper closure also stood out, providing a secure way to keep my essentials from falling out. One feature that I found particularly convenient was the detachable shoulder strap. It made carrying the bag a breeze, especially when I had to juggle multiple items at the shooting range. However, I also noticed that the bag could be a bit heavy when fully loaded, making me wish for some additional weight relief on the shoulder strap. The bag's large, gate-mouth main compartment offered ample space for storing ammunition and various shooting accessories. The five exterior zippered pockets were a great addition as well, allowing me to store smaller items without sacrificing organization. Overall, the Browning Black &Gold Range Bag has been a reliable companion during my shooting sessions. While it offers some great features, I do hope for some enhancements in the shoulder strap's weight capacity and perhaps additional padding for a more comfortable experience. đWater-resistant Trap Shooting Shell Pouchhttps://preview.redd.it/oaz6fc4rw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f9cc3ff8bddaf87b2e8a13a9ce43ef3011976e8 As someone who has tried the 121095897 Black and Gold Shell Pouch, I have to say that I was quite impressed with its overall quality and functionality. Constructed with water-resistant black ripstop fabric and contrasting gold stitching, the pouch looked both stylish and durable. One exciting feature was the large fired hull pouch and shell box holder, which could be attached to the semi-rigid MOLLE platform or used independently. This allowed for great versatility and customization based on my personal needs. I loved the fact that there was no need to purchase additional accessories, as the pouch came with all the essentials included. However, the product was not without its drawbacks. The size might be a bit too large for some users, which could lead to unnecessary bulk when carrying in the field. Additionally, while the quality of materials was impressive, the stitching could have been tighter to ensure a more secure fit and prevent any unwanted detachment. Overall, my experience with the 121095897 Black and Gold Shell Pouch was mostly positive, as the pouch provided both practicality and style during my trapping activities. The few minor drawbacks did not detract from the overall value and superior build quality of this shell pouch. đ9 oz. Cotton Canvas Trap Shooting Shell Pouch with Adjustable Leather Trimhttps://preview.redd.it/j3kqouprw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75cb6fb251c4106b000d282ae8d83a41a87d2757 This Browning lona canvas shell pouch with belt is a game-changer for anyone participating in trap shooting. Its 9 oz. 100% cotton canvas body is both durable and lightweight, perfect for long days on the range. The pouch's internal structure is designed to evenly distribute the weight of your shells, making it easier to carry and move around. The Crazy Horse leather trim is also a nice touch, adding both style and protection to the product. One of the most convenient features of this pouch is the zippered side, making it easy to 'dump' empty shells without having to unzip the whole pouch. The adjustable nylon web belt is another feature that stands out, allowing you to customize the fit and provide a comfortable carrying experience. However, there is a slight disappointment in the belt's quick release buckle, which could be more sturdy and secure. Additionally, some users have reported issues with the quality of the vest, especially when compared to previous versions of Browning products. Overall, the Browning lona canvas shell pouch with belt is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a durable and practical shell carrying solution. With its comfortable fit and convenient features, it's definitely worth considering, even with the slight drawbacks. đBrowning Belted Dove Game Bag: Durable, Ventilated, and Adjustable Hunting Companionhttps://preview.redd.it/xupagt1sw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca7f739fa663cce938dea0d6afcfe3c4c600661b Browning's Belted Dove Game Bag quickly became an important part of my hunting gear lineup. Firstly, the blood-proof feature is a game-changer - those unexpected messes are a thing of the past. The mesh ventilation on its sides really comes in handy during hot hunts, and trust me, I've been on plenty of those! The adjustable web belt feels really secure, and the snap closures make it a breeze to open and close your gear. It's quite a spacious bag - it can carry all I need, be it extra shells or accessories - without adding bulk. And that accessory pocket is a life-saver! It securely holds all essentials. But the best part? It's 100% Poly Oxford fabric so it's incredibly durable and lightweight at the same time. Yet some might find it a bit bulky due to its features. But in the end, it's all about what you need and how you use it. A word about the material - it's durable and lightweight, making it a great choice for those who want quality and a comfortable fit. The color, Mossy Oak, is not just rugged-looking but also practical. In conclusion, I'd recommend the Browning Belted Dove Game Bag to anyone who wants a functional, durable, and comfortable game bag that can accommodate all essentials during a hunt. It's priced reasonably and it certainly delivers on its promises. But remember, just like with anything, it might not be to everyone's taste, so it's worth trying before you buy. đMossy Oak Bottomland Browning Wicked Wing Blind Bag - Durable, Waterproof Range Baghttps://preview.redd.it/lcexitjsw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbba6ef9d98c699ec94e27452ae97ba818307cf8 I recently got my hands on the Browning Wicked Wing Blind Bag and let me tell you, it's a game-changer when it comes to all-day outdoor gear storage. With its heavily padded design, it offers both protection and easy access to all your essentials. I particularly love the zip clear pocket and the molded water-resistant base. The padded sides ensure that the bag maintains its shape and can float on water. One minor setback is that the weight of the bag can make it a bit cumbersome at times. Overall, though, the Browning Wicked Wing Blind Bag has earned its place on my outdoor adventures list, providing excellent storage and security while withstanding harsh weather conditions. đSpacious Reflective Commuter Bag with 28L Capacityhttps://preview.redd.it/sxcwai0tw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5be9e542794efa17a9133467a6db51fec4fb1a99 The Borough Bag Reflective Large is a game-changer for my daily life, keeping me safe and seen on my bike commutes. With its 28-litre capacity, I can carry everything I need for unexpected adventures, whether it's a grocery run or an outdoor excursion. The Dusk Blue base and reflective silver motifs are eye-catching under city lights, and the 100% recycled fabric adds a touch of sustainability. However, the two rear pockets with press-to-close closures can be a bit tricky to use, especially when wearing gloves. I wish they had used velcro instead for a more practical and secure closure. Despite this minor issue, I'm thrilled to have this versatile, eco-friendly bag as part of my urban explorations. đHigh-Capacity Browning Range Bag for Waterfowl Essentialshttps://preview.redd.it/oqn0b2ftw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9309d87b2b06662ac7e11af99bb6c7e23de71e6 I recently gave the Browning Wicked Wing Shoulder Bag a try on one of my hunting trips, and I must say, it was quite the game-changer. As I stepped out into the early morning mist, this sturdy bag was my perfect companion. Its adjustable padded shoulder strap and carry handle made it super comfortable to lug around while carrying all the necessities for my hunt. The water-resistant PVC-backed polyester fabric not only ensured my gear stayed dry and safe, but it also made it easy to clean up after a long day in the field. And let's not forget about the zip closure, which kept everything securely inside, so I never had to worry about losing those important items. The flap features on this bag are also worth mentioning. With the shell loops and secure buckle closure, they provided that extra bit of protection, making sure I had everything I needed close at hand. It's little details like these that truly make this bag stand out. Now, there was one minor drawback. The bag isn't incredibly large at 8 L, so if you're planning on taking along a lot of gear, you might want to consider an alternative. But overall, the Browning Wicked Wing Shoulder Bag proved to be an excellent hunting companion. đBrowning Range Bag with 12-Pocket Designhttps://preview.redd.it/x7tl1e1uw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa58937458914f493b67774544b5570a9ee62cfd The Explorer 22" waist gun pouch tactical backpack is an adaptable companion for almost any adventure. With a generous main compartment and separate pocket for a hydration bladder (hydration bladder not included), this backpack ensures you're prepared for anything. The adjustable padded straps and back padding offer maximum comfort to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. One of the most unique features I appreciated was the modular attachment point panel on the front, sides, and straps. This allowed for a customizable storage solution, adding versatility to the backpack's design. The ten pockets, long front rectangle pocket, and two padded gun pouches on the waist straps provided an ample amount of storage for essentials like guns, cell phones, GPS, and even life-saving medicines. While there were no significant cons during my experience, I did find that the product could benefit from an improved description of its intended age range and better representation of its capacity. Overall, the Explorer 22" waist gun pouch tactical backpack proved to be a reliable and convenient companion for my adventures, and I'm excited to see how it could be further improved in the future. đPremium Vintage Waxed Canvas Range Bag for Durable Outdoor Adventureshttps://preview.redd.it/4idulhauw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d003f7e2859bdb73307250c59a6cec7507aa150 I have had the pleasure of using the Field Tan/Blaze Orange Sportsman's Gear Bag, and let me tell you - it's been a game-changer in my outdoor adventures. Firstly, the 18oz wax cotton exterior is just stunning. It gives the bag a vintage feel that is both unique and eye-catching. And don't even get me started on the solid brass zipper and hardware. They just exude quality, you can feel it in your hands. The multiple exterior pockets are perfect for storing all those must-have items. The 7"D x 10"H x 14"W size and the 16" handles make it comfortable to carry around, no matter how much gear you're toting. The 1100 Denier Cordura nylon bottom ensures that this bag is built to last, perfect for those rugged adventures outdoors. And just a quick heads up, it's proudly made in North Carolina, so you can rest assured that you're supporting local craftsmanship. Overall, I'd highly recommend this bag for anyone who appreciates functionality with a touch of visual appeal. It's not just a bag, it's a statement piece. đ5.11 Tactical LV Covert Carry 45L Pack - Iron Grey Covert Range Baghttps://preview.redd.it/a0r6b3puw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b55046a558bdaa5db0e0e322a0f937f5153c5dc I've been using the 5.11 Tactical LV Covert Carry Pack 45L, and it has become a reliable companion on my outdoor adventures. Its low-profile design helps me blend in without drawing too much attention, thanks to the CenterLine design and tuckable labels. Quick-release shoulder straps and a removable sternum strap keep it comfortable for long hikes, while the side carry handle and lower webbing straps allow for efficient cargo management. The dual front pockets are perfect for staying organized, with admin organization and MOLLE webbing that ensures all my gear stays in place. Inside the main compartment, there's a suspended padded laptop sleeve and a mesh zippered pocket, providing enough storage for my essentials. The secondary weapon compartment, with its reinforced muzzle pocket, web loops, and rifle retention straps, is great for keeping my firearms safely stowed. What I appreciate most about this pack is its adaptability. With the 3" drop-down extension, it can easily accommodate compact or full-size firearms. The tri-glides for optional waist belt attachment make wearing it all the more comfortable, and the aluminum frame HDPE board ensures durability. However, there is a downside â the 5.11 Tactical LV Covert Carry 45L Pack can be quite heavy when fully loaded. The added waist belt should be included with the pack for better load distribution. Nonetheless, this pack strikes a perfect balance between comfort and covert operations, making it an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts. đDurable Browning Range Bag for Reliable Firearm Storagehttps://preview.redd.it/n1s9z9hvw0tc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1fdf79300ea5f32b5c23f8d7d5c4eb7490ad9c29 I recently had the opportunity to try out the Browning Empties Bag Summit Military Green 12996044, and I must say, I was quite impressed with its durability and convenience. This range bag was the perfect solution for storing my firearms and accessories securely, while maintaining easy access and organization. One of the standout features for me was the large top opening, which allowed me to quickly and easily load and unload my gear. The bottom zipper was also a thoughtful addition, as it made emptying the bag a seamless process. The honeycomb polyester fabric not only looked appealing but also provided the necessary protection against external factors such as rain, snow, and humidity. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks as well. The sturdy materials made the bag a bit heavier than I would have preferred, which could potentially make it less comfortable to carry for extended periods. Additionally, while the bag was large enough to accommodate all of my firearms, I did find that the dimensions were a bit too small for storing other essential accessories, such as ammo boxes or cleaning kits. Overall, the Browning Empties Bag Summit Military Green 12996044 proved to be a reliable and functional addition to my firearm storage routine. With its thoughtful features and sturdy construction, it's well worth considering if you're in the market for a high-quality range bag. Great news! Co-op agreed not to source coconut milk from Thailand after learning about PETA Asiaâs undercover investigation into the use of monkeys in the countryâs coconut industry....
PETA Asiaâs third investigation implicates coconut pickers, brokers, farms, and monkey-training operations in nine provinces, including top-producing ones.
One trainer was caught on camera dangling a screaming monkey by the neck and striking him with a tether. A monkey used for breeding was kept chained alone in the sun, without access to water, and other young monkeys languished in cramped cages.
2024.04.06 11:14 ImJulienB No, I don't care about live service

Real talk, what's up with every racing games absolutely needing some form of live service or another these days? I remember people being very critical of the last four Need for Speed games over it and yet no one bats an eye about The Crew's drip fed updates (drip feeding QOL updates in Motorfest shows how much of a sick joke this game is... can't wait for the mostly negative Steam reviews) or Forza constantly and consistently recycling everything. This is a feeling that grew starting from the release of Need for Speed Unbound and how so many people complained about the game not having much content to it whether it was in singleplayer or multiplayer. Personally I found much of the game to be decently packed and good for 80h of dumb fun, which is more than I could tell about any of the overly hyped Black Box NFS games I never completed (the only one being Undercover which i went through in 20h). Why do people want endless content served to them mindlessly so they can keep playing a game over and over? Some games are meant to be played just once, why isn't that okay with a racing game all of a sudden? I don't really get why people absolutely feel the need to play an arcade racer for over 200h, 500h, some 1000h. Not every racing games need to be Forza Horizon, or The Crew 2. People's expectations are so unbelievably off for those types of games that they just bomb reviews in those perfectly fine games. People were even moaning about the multiplayer experience being lacking in content while this franchise always seemed like a singleplayer one to me. I shouldn't feel any shame in saying NFS Unbound had an excellent singleplayer experience that felt just as fun as the mid 2000s games. I've been playing a lot of games recently and they were pretty much all singleplayer experiences without much of a live service, whether or not they were story-driven. With most of those I never felt the need to have more of them. I was very satisfied with all the content those games had even if they were very short games (like I still don't get tired replaying Portal over and over and that game is 2h long, or Saints Row 3 and this one can be completed in 40h). I wonder who's at fault for shifting the tides with people's expectations. Fortnite? Forza? Xbox as a whole?? |
