Title: Halo: RingFall
Story: On Installation 06, 16807 Abashed Eulogy contemplates the history of the galaxy. All its conflicts, wars, and struggles. She ponders which of the many factions of the galaxy is truly the most powerful. Which one has the greatest potential for destruction and glory. So, she decides to experiment. Converting a large section of her ring, she transforms it into a battleground. The thick vegetation is cleared, making room for environments that mirror multiple locations. A frozen tundra with forerunner architecture, a barren desert with a human outpost, a sickly swamp with a banished fortress, and a volcanic waste with crumbling ruins. Scattered between them are dense forests, open plains, and some rivers. With the scenery set, she begins her testing.
Gameplay: At the start of each match, an Arkship will fly across the landscape, dispersing fighters wherever they wish to deploy. The players will control their descent within drop pods before landing and exiting in a first-person cinematic display (think Chief's landing on Delta Halo in Halo 2 in first-person). Weapons from every Halo game, expanded media and even some new ones will be scattered about, along with a small amount of vehicles. Weapons would include the “cut” ones from Infinite, Halo 3’s brute weapons, Reach’s expanded arsenal as well as stuff like the Stanchion, Flamethrower, gravity rifle, and others. Vehicles would be Mongoose, Warthog, Razorback, Ghost, Revenant (Halo 4 design), Chopper and Maurader. Perhaps also a Mantis and Reaver. To push players to a randomly generated middle, Abashed Eulogy will designate an era as inadequate and begin a purge. First, the area will begin to crack and pale, signaling the "closing of the ring". Once a set amount of time has passed, the cracked area will be ejected into space, eliminating anyone left in the area and shrinking the fighting space. Abashed Eulogy will also act as the announcer, commenting in what is happening and changes about to occur.
Player content: To make the gameplay more interesting, players can choose between six factions between three categories to play as. Each player can create three "characters" per faction and can switch between characters and factions between battles. Unlockable customization is earned in a Reach-like style with credits earned based on your gameplay and leveling up. Each faction has unique animations, drop pods, and melee weapons. Putting away your weapons will allow players to run faster and be weaponless at will. Content will be shared between characters but not factions. The categories and factions are these. The Alliance: UNSC Spartans and Swords of Sanghelios Elites The Betrayed: Banished Brutes and Endless Xalanyn The Hated: Flood Combat Forms and Created Prometheans UNSC: The spartans will be in Infinite style (though Reach proportions if you know what I mean) and contain armor options from all games. There are also 3 voice types ( technically six, considering it’s 3 per gender). First is a stoic and calm Spartan 2, second is a professional but more bantery and laid-back Spartan 3, and third is the much more vocal and chatty Spartan 4. They will use the familiar UNSC drop pods and wield the Spartan knives from Reach Assassinations. SoS: The Elites will contain male AND female elites, allowing us to finally see female elites in game. Their armor will range from all games though the base shape is their Infinite Design. HOWEVER, there is an optional third body type in the form of 343 (Halo 4/5) style Elites for those who wish to play as them. Voice types will be a strict and professional Covenant Elite, second will be a boisterous and loud remnant follower and third is a more approachable and open-minded Swords Elite. The drop pod used will be the Halo Reach style, with the cover sliding up and the elite jumping out. Their melee weapon will likewise bet the Reach-style energy daggers.
The Banished: This will allow us to finally play as the brutes. They will have two body types; trimmed and neat Infinite Style or shaggy/hairy Halo 2 style. No female brutes. Armor will be from all games (2, 3, Reach and Infinite). Voice types will include a snarling savage that rarely talks, a devote covenant follower from Halo 3, or the bombastic and snarling Infinite style. Their drop pods will be the ones form Infinite, with fire and explosions, belching smoke and flame while the brute leaps out and roars. Unlike other factions, the Brutes use their fists as their melee weapons, with their running animations while “armed” being the beserking lope from Halo 2.
The Endless: This will be fun, allowing the expansion of Xalanyn design. I’m assuming they resemble the Harbinger, so they’ll be slender and regal, floating above the ground as if swimming in water. Due to the Harbinger being female, I’m going to say males and females are playable, with their armor taking inspiration from the already-seen designs as well as some influence from the Reapers of Mass Effects (the reapers themselves, not the Husks) Their voice lines could be a calm, regal figure that looks down on other species, an unhinged fighter who wants revenge for their betrayal and a solum warrior who feels they are dying and have little left. Their drop pod could be almost anything, but I feel they’d exit it with arms folded over their chest, floating out as if underwater. Their melee weapon would be their hand coated in energy to act as slashing blades.
The Flood: Getting to play as a Combat-Form has a lot of potential. Three body types; human, elite and brute, with armor being different ranks of each before they were infected. Voice lines will be super fun. The first is the Primordial; ancient and calm, talking about the inevitability of its victory and monologuing on ancient times. The second would be the Gravemind we know and love, speaking in riddles and metaphors before going unhinged and angry. And the third would be a proto-gravemind, snarling and groaning like a classic zombie and only speaking the occasional broken phrase or word. Their drop pod would be a flood sac, with the player crawling out of it. Their melee weapon will be tentacles that extend from their arm, and these also wrap around any weapon they pick up to aid in reloading.
The Created: The Prometheans would be soldiers, though modified to look a bit less “floaty”. A combination of what they are and the design that Wernissage created on YouTube. Their armor designs could range from Halo 4’s with different colors and lights, to 5’s more vivid metal and perhaps a few more floaty bits. Voice lines would include a dull, mechanical voice, very robotic and stiff. The second would be similar to Halo 5, serving Cortana and believing in the superiority of machines, and last would be a LifeWorker drone, striving to protect life and feeling they are only doing what they must by killing. Their drop pod would be a solid metal cylinder that disassembles partially to form the soldier itself, floating apart and then reforming into the player. Their melee weapon would be similar to the Knights light blade.
Additional Game Modes: A survival-style game with between 96 to 99 Flood players, unarmed, against 1 to 4 survivors who drop down and have to scavenge and attempt to kill the flood before they are killed. There could also be an Infection Style game where there are 99 survivors and 1 Alpha Flood who is a Juggernaut. Whenever a survivor is killed, they are turned into a flood form with their original character’s armor (or one of their flood character if they an endless or Promethean) and they keep respawning until either all survivors are dead or the timer runs out. Release and Future Content: On release, everyone who buys the game (which would be about $20, gets a 100-tier season pass that they can work through to earn customizations for their armor and decals. Think how For Honor does their passes. However, once the season is done (after a month or two) the pass remains so you can continue to unlock. The following season would introduce a new category and two new factions. Ancient Humans and Forerunners. Further seasons would include an ODST faction, a covenant Prelate Factions, a Fringe Faction that uses the Dazreme, an ONI season that has UNSC customization for Elites, Brutes, Prometheans, and radio-controlled Flood. A Covenant Season that unlocks Honor Guard Armor for elites, brutes and flood and Covenant Spartans, Prometheans, and Endless. The ideas go on and on.
Would this ever happen? Probably not. But I think it would make an amazing game that would breath life back into Halo without rewriting anything and would be an amazing thing!

It's been a hell of a week.
I've been holding this story to myself for my entire stonks adventure. I've written it up a few times and deleted before I posted it, but I had a few drinks last night and typed it up again, and the return of the hype has me introspective.
I lost my little brother to cancer in the late '90s. Leukemia, or to be more specific cascading organ failure due to the side effects of chemo.
I was a sophomore in college when he died. He was 18.
Growing up, I was a car guy, but he was a console gamer and an artist, a pokemon collector and anime fan. From the time I was in middle school and he was in 5th grade my parents would let us walk together to the mall about 2-1/2 miles away on the weekends or during school breaks. We were supposed to stick together, but we'd usually split up and hang out with our friends.
Our usual spot to meet up for the walk home was GameStop. It was his favorite place to go. I'm pretty sure there were a lot of times he just hung out there for a few hours browsing games and playing demos. The cashiers knew him by name.
After spending the afternoon at the mall we'd meet up at GameStop, grab a slice or two for dinner at Sbarro's in the food court, and walk home before it got TOO dark out. A lot of times we'd swing over to Blockbuster across from the mall if it was summer and we still had light. When my parents were having a hard time financially I'd use some of the money I got from mowing lawns and working at the gas station and tell him it was our allowance from mom. I'm not sure if he ever caught on.
"I'll meet you at GameStop at 6". I can't even imagine how many times I said that. He liked to talk with hands, so a lot of times I'd end up holding his games as well as my bag with a model car from Kay-Bee or some Testors model paint from the Hobby store, sometimes a Lambo poster or supermodel poster or techno-junk trinket from Hot Topic. He'd usually want to see what I got, and then he would ramble all the way home about some new game he was excited about, or tips he got on how to beat the most recent Nintendo game we had.
He was a little bit of a budding entrepreneur- he'd reserve every game they released and sell the ones he didn't want to his friends at school. He really loved drawing, especially anime, and we found out later he was also supplementing his income drawing titty pics for his friends for a few bucks. Good Lord, the fallout from that!
I was in college out of state when he got sick. The summer after my Freshman year. I ditched my summer internship before it started and came home to be a bone marrow donor. By the time fall semester rolled around it seemed like he was getting better. When I came home for Christmas break I got to take him to GameStop in the mall to spend his giftcards and the cash he got. He was in a mask (way before Covid) because his immune system wasn't working right but he wanted to go in person so bad that my parents gave the OK. It was the last place I went with him that wasn't the hospital. The last time I had a meaningful conversation with him was on the drive back from the mall. We talked about where he wanted to go to college, about how he felt about graduating high school next year, and about the girl he liked. We drove around aimlessly for a while talking before we finally headed home.
I went back to college a few days later. Worked a summer internship away from home that year and then started my Sophomore year. Just before Thanksgiving, he suddenly got very sick and went into a coma, which he never came out of. We never did get a satisfactory explanation for it, just "these things sometimes happen after chemo."
I stumbled across the DFV saga on the WaSaBi sub in the early days of the sneeze and it set off something in me. It was a perfect storm of emotions reading through the DD and stories- Not only were these Hedgie bastards going after my little bro's favorite hangout, there was also the same flavor of corruption that we all gagged on in the '08 housing crisis. All the soulless corporate raiding and underhanded crap, all the sleaze and outright cheating.
I bought in with all the cash I could afford to lose. I haven't sold. I used to have other hobbies but now I buy GME and shop at my local GameStop stores. I have found a few things I enjoy, and I have kids to shop for, so I plan to support as best I can for a long time to come.
Here's what I don't think the Hedgies got at first, maybe they still can't comprehend. For some of us Apes, maybe even a majority, it isn't really just about the money. I think for maybe a whole a lot of us, it's not about the money at all anymore, even if it started out that way.
And the Hedgies can't win because we are not playing the same game.

My fellow gamers, for too long has our community suffered the indignation of an intolerable culture that has denigrated, besmirched, exploited, and has outright demonized our culture of unique individuals with a genuine love of a hobby that they see as profitable and progressive. They have taken beloved IP’s (Intellectual Properties) and twisted them into their own personal ideological crusade of undermining and humiliating the core aspects of characters they deemed as “Toxic” or “White Supremacy”. Through the guise and protection of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity) & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) they have used our influence in the entertainment industry to push their narratives and agendas that have stigmatized our culture with numerous anti-consumer practices that they call “being progressive”. But the truth of the matter is they were never really looking to be a part of our community, they simply wanted to use our community as a tool of activism and propaganda in the entertainment industry as it was extremely profitable, and they wanted inclusion in that division. Ever since GamerGate & Female Frequency, we have had to endure the incursion of forced ideologies, xenophobic behaviors and inferior overpriced products that have never been in our best interest and have been flat out disgraceful towards foreign media.

It has aided in the dismantling and segregation of players on the ideology of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and has created another sub-culture of gamers who have no real drive to be better outside of how much money they put into the game. This has degraded our culture as well as we have become “fat” off transactional gaming but at the same time we have been “starved” of purposeful gaming where our achievements were our sustenance. I am not saying that microtransactions are bad, but when they are exploitative and predatorial like they have been and don’t give gamers room to grow, we become lethargic and unwilling to improve ourselves as gamers. Oversaturated microtransactional games are one of the many reasons why we have become complacent and unwilling to fight against the exploitative tactics used by big brand game companies such EA, Ubisoft, ActivisionBlizzard, NaughtyDog and so many other western business model companies. Western style games were not like this in the past, they had much more depth and actual effort put into them with the gamer in mind. This has not been the case for over a decade and our connection to western developers has been whittled down to just being transactional. That is one of the reasons why you see so many remasters and remakes in today’s gamer community. They have lost their willingness to improve as developers of games and simply accept corporate/share holder rules.
Game journalists also do not have any real integrity or purpose outside of being funded for their involvement in promoting IPG (Identity Political Games) in a positive light to the public whether it’s positively received or not. They are not interested in what we have to say, they all support the same agenda and that is why they are a dying breed. Within the next couple of years, they will be out of the job and more than likely they will not be able to stay in the industry giving how they have responded to past articles that have clearly been scripted on the premise of diversity and racism. Not only that, but most of them are also extremely hostile to the community as they stereotype and defame the individuals that are a part of the community they are supposed to serve. We have been mentally liberated from their lies and coercive tactics as we tend to laugh at their obvious attempt at virtue signaling while hiding their misdoings so that they can play the victim.
My gamer brothers & sisters, I would not suggest the following action that we must take now without good cause. I have weighed our options and the best option for us now is this…...CULTURAL SECESSION. Naturally this is a form of segregation where they would more than likely claim they are being segregated by the dominant culture of the gaming community but that is incorrect. For years now we have been the ones who are often marginalized and ostracized for the smaller portion of our community. And when we aren’t, we’re exploited for more funds so that these companies can stay in business only to subject us to low quality products that coincide with the “WOKE Agenda” that are often huge expenses to these big brands i.e. AAA/AAAA games that will eventually flop for its obvious forced diversity and bug infested product which will undoubtedly piss off the consumer to the point of wanting a refund. Losing copious amounts of capital and stock in the process, not to mention their reputation is permanently marred.
We must separate on every cultural level in terms of entertainment and ideology. We must reject everything from the west that promotes toxic western beliefs, practices, and exclusion from other cultures (i.e. Southeastern Countries such as Japan and Korea). Japan & Korea have been the targets of unjust discrimination from Western Developers, Western Journalists, Western Localizers (The Wokelizers) and Western Society Prejudice regarding their sense of aesthetics as Westerners hate the aesthetic sense of these countries. The reason why they resort to such base tactics isn’t just because it weaponizes the ideal female form but it’s also because they have deep-seated insecurities about their own looks so when they see attractive female characters, they use terms such as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized” to establish the moral high ground. But the truth is, they want to feel superior to that which is ideal, so they insult and dehumanize this figure that portrays natural female beauty because they see it as an insult to their own social superiority in what they believe is a hierarchy of them being at the top of all other women. Because of this and so many contributing factors, their movies flop harder than the Fat Chocobo landing on a group of enemies and their games seismically fail just as much if not more. We must sever our connection to Western Developers, Publishers, and ALL Western-Centric Entertainment for they seek to mentally enslave us to their Xenophobic ideology.

These traits are so nefarious and unconscionable that I have a hard time believing that anyone could harbor them. However, given the social, political, and economic climate that we are in, those in power who use their influence on controlling society most definitely possess these insidious traits. Everything that they do is all about control and since video games are the biggest market in the world, they want control over it and the communities built around it to accrue more wealth and to use that wealth to subjugate other cultures. Mainstream media is a tool as well as mainstream organizations and sites to help accomplish this goal.
The government recently announced its intentions towards what they believe is “GamerGate 2.0” and now even the ADL has made an official appearance, referring to gamers as “extremist’s”. We know EXACTLY what they are doing, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore because they don’t think we are aware of their motives. This is just a pretext for them to exert even more control and we know why, it’s because they want the influence we as a community have to must serve them. So here is what we do my fellow gamers-
“In light of recent events and years of mainstream stigma, we the members of the Global Gaming Community [GGC] must officially renounce ALL TIES to the corporate western video game market. We have been financially exploited through predatorial monetization schemes, pelted with numerous articles of disdain and intentional misrepresentation from game journalists, news outlets regarding us as dangerous individuals and, even subjected to inferior products not only riddled with bugs but also products meant to push political agendas. For the preservation of our community and its unique culture, apart from a few select game development studios we officially sever all connections to western owned video game companies & their mainstream affiliates. Naturally this is completely optional. If you are okay with the state of the gaming community as it is, feel free to ignore this. - Perpetual Victimhood: By weaponizing the fact that they are marginalized and of a small portion of western society, they can push their agenda to absurd standards that ultimately ostracize the main demographic. And when companies don’t capitulate, they are labeled as anti-progressive/misogynist’s or cohorts of White Supremacy. They use this to cancel their targets and silence them through societal defamation to keep the public on their side. They also use this mindset to justify their own lack of self-agency as they tend to throw companies who do adhere to their demands but miserably fail to turn a profit under the bus so that they can maintain face in front of the public while denying their actual involvement. They will never accept “Sense of Agency” when it’s negative but will gladly accept it when a positive outcome shines on them as if they are entitled to it.
- Societal Terrorism: This is another form of ideology weaponization that they use in order to make companies “toe-the-line” with their agenda. By weaponizing cancel culture, they exert dominance over these companies but in exchange they also reimburse those companies with DEI & ESG funds that raise their credit score as well as having social status with the marginalized demographic. However; cancel culture has not succeeded in years and developers and publishers probably only want the money and the DEI ESG rating. But they have to maintain the image of having social economic power so that they can continue to strong-arm other developers into compliance and promoting financial benefits of DEI & ESG. In other words, if you are not for sale, they discredit and stigmatize you in the industry.

- “Its not us, its you who’s wrong” Mentality: This mentality is especially annoying as they tend to use it to hide their incompetence. They often look down upon gamers who are not in the industry to hide their obvious lack of knowledge on game development thinking that their job title grants them special status that they believe gives them the right to be condescending. But the truth they never wanted revealed has already strangled their careers of all credibility. They were never GAMERS, they were INVADERS. Community Colonists that seek to indoctrinate next generational gamers into their hive-mind and brand previous generations of gamers as villains.

- Double-standard Enforcement: By labeling something as “unrealistic” or “hypersexualized”, they can claim this is morally wrong if it promotes traditional dynamics between men and women. Heterosexual relationships are condemned while at the same time Same-sex relationships are praised. Additionally, heterosexual relationships with main white male characters turn antagonistic and spotlight stealing. This is deliberate as to promote the “Girl Boss” ideology to indoctrinate women into the Feminazi state of mind. While at the same time, should a male character also adopt the “I don’t need male/female” ideology its seen as Toxic Masculinity which isn’t even a real thing. The idea of a strong male character is taboo while enforcing strong female characters is the ideal.

- Dehumanization/Demonization: This is something that most military branches use in order to remove conscious inhibitions such as mass slaughter is wrong or categorization. By enforcing ideologies to denounce humanity in certain targets, it deactivates your conscience by saying this is not human therefore its ethically okay to treat this target without compassion and deny the fact it has sentience. We gamers fall under this category for journalists, developers, companies and society at large. This is a tactic we are familiar with to an extent as it implies that we are not normal when we do not do what everybody else is doing. “Geeks are the worse” or “Nerds need to fall into a pit of lava” are verbal dehumanization forms that most people in society say and we as Gamers tend to be relegated to those categories. This is their way of imposing the social hierarchy on us by establishing superiority. We know this as Gamers as we see it very often in the games that we play and some times experience it in real life.
- Deflection/Projection: This is basic psychology 101. By redirecting the conversation away from their mistakes and back on to the opposing view to avert blame and justify their innocence they can avoid criticism. However; deflection is a CONSCIOUS decision, meaning they have no real argument to justify their incompetence. If you can consciously process the situation, you have self-agency which means you don’t have a legitimate excuse. Projection is something else entirely. Most times, Projection doesn’t work on conscious decisions rather it is automatically deployed when feeling threatened, anxious or both. Instead of accepting accountability for feelings or actions that are deemed socially unacceptable they accuse others of committing that unacceptable behavior thereby exonerating themselves and proving that those feelings and/or actions are not their own.

Also, the execution is just there because I thought it was cool— let’s be real, if you’ve blocked nine specials in a row and Testament hasn’t even blocked once, you’re dying anyway. behind the black block it still has the original screen I had it on..
I have been busy with pc lately since it has being bugging out from time to time. See the pictures:
It has been going on for a while and I got some things checked out: GPU stress tested, by manufacturer and they say there were no problems. I Personally really though it would have been my GPU.
I memtested my RAMS, except I think I may have tested them both in the same slot(no problems). I dont think it is the ram since it is able to run like most games on high resolutions etc. But still maybe retest for both slots and both sticks?
What could be the issue with my pc? Please help guys.. The PC i built myself and after a year it started acting faulty.

So.. I can't seem to find anything online about this but
When I'm connected via air link to my pc, I am on the menu to launch games, view/control my desktop, etc. Which works fine.
However my question is; how in the HELL do I access quick settings from this menu or even a running game? Like the oculus main menu thing. Not the air link menu. Am I missing something? Such a ride. Gaming, in my case, was pretty much an escapism. Difficulty meeting bio dad's standards (always assumes his way through everything, shallow thinker, can't understand situation unless been in it), and parasitic infection caused health issues.

He just flailed around about, "you should see a real doctor, holistic doctors who can't answer all my questions are just wasting time" without being open-minded. He also was pretty annoying when I was job hunting. He'd ask "any news of job front", I state lots of ghost jobs and seems no real jobs, he'd exclaim nono I'm sure there's lots of jobs out there. Heck, when still needing rest he'd ask when I'm gonna sit for so-and-so certification exams so can move on with life.
It took working w/ a chaplain my holistic doctor recommended, it seems my gaming (chiefly Tera, Genshin Impact, and a few other games like Quake 2) was an escapism. See, bio dad annoyed me w/ lots of "need to set goals, when are you gonna take this exam, you've been living here 5 years and still can't provide for yourself, my work colleagues' children are adults younger than you and already self-sufficient", and so forth.
No, bio dad isn't idiot to me, just unprepared for fatherhood duties (I'm 34M) and too naive or stupid to realize hey, I need to ask other dads how to be a good dad. He hides in his weak culture of "just assume you're best dad ever, boom, you're automatically best dad ever". No reason to tell him cause he'd just get offended.
Anyway, don't believe will ever game again. Previously, way to keep busy as well as something to pass time while healing from chronic condition. Jesus, my fiancee, and few others I trust kept saying hey, drop gaming, and being hard-headed, I didn't listen; took easily getting nauseous from gaming before finally did so. Surprise! Find myself feeling ok, healing is better.
Later, when physical energy back last month, found yes I can game without trouble, so more or less returned. 2nd appointment w chaplain, I brought this gaming up because wanted to understand better; spiritual indifference was up, just wasn't sure what's going on. A few of these opponents also made some terrible misplays along the way but its so hard to throw a game when you have 1 perfect green card for every turn :D. Most of these decks at 1-2 and 2-2 somehow look much better than 90% of my drafts and i have no idea how they all end up in these scores. Days like this really make me bored of playing and ruin an overall pretty fun looking meta and there are so many of them at times. The most annoying part is just knowing that if i dont draft something busted (often even then) there is absolutely no way in hell to get even to 3 wins let alone more, and that makes these plain Arena drafts that you could get to 5-6 wins with decent play back in the days just a pain to struggle through.

When I'm connected via air link to my pc, I am on the menu to launch games, view/control my desktop, etc. Which works fine.
However my question is; how in the HELL do I access quick settings from this menu or even a running game? Like the oculus main menu thing. Not the air link menu. Am I missing something? When I press the oculus button it just resets my view. No body ever mentions this online, anywhere. Is there something I have to enable?

I'm planning to make a settings guide for this game, but my Claw is acting weird with GOT, as the GPU power would fluctuate between 15-24W, and GPU jumping between 1000-1700 MHz. This leads to a low fps, sometimes even drop to 30fps no matter which quality/resolution/performance mode I try. When the GPU clock is at the intended level (2000+ MHz) the game runs pretty well (like 45+fps at FHD + Low or 35+fps at FHD + Medium, both with XeSS Balanced), but it would only lasts a dozen seconds before the fluctuation happens again... This is only the case with GOT, in all other games (Cyberpunk 2077, Death Stranding, No Rest For The Wicked, to name a few) I get the normal GPU power reading (so around 30-35W).
So far I found 2 solutions: first choice is plug it in (which defeats the point of a handheld), second choice is interesting - using FSR + Frame Generation. This would push the GPU power to 30-35W as usual, and I got a pretty smooth experience. I'm talking about 60-70fps at FHD + Medium settings + FSR Quality (with Frame Generation). Not a big fan of Frame Generation as it introduces more latency (not a big issue though, GOT is not exactly a fast paced game) + frame time can be all over the place, but for now this is the best option.
Now, I'll be honest, GOT is blocked in my country (damn you Sony...) so I can't buy it and have to rely on a pirated day-one version, so this could be the reason. But still, if anyone with the legit copy of the game and playing it on Claw, can you help me testing the performance? If the legit version works fine then guess I'll skip this guide then. FYI, I'm on BIOS v108 + latest Intel driver (v5522, I believe it has the day-one support for GOT).

This post was inspired by a recent comment where I did a little math on some perks!
I’m sure when you load up into a game against a quad slowdown nurse, you might wonder how much exactly are those slow down perks helping her out. I’m here to provide that answer.
Let’s take some of the best slowdown perks and do the math. (we’ll be looking at the “nerfed” versions)
Constants - 90 seconds are required to complete a gen (ignoring toolboxes, perks, etc) when looking at a percentage of damage, it is out of 90 charges/seconds. if a perk regressed a gen by 5% that math would be 5% of 90 seconds, or 4.5 seconds.
• Pain Resonance- This perk will damage a the most progressed gen by 20% 4 times per match via scourge hooks. This works out to 18 seconds perk token. with all 4 tokens being consumed, that is 72 seconds or 1 minute and 12 seconds.
• Grim Embrace- Grim embrace blocks all gens on the map from being worked on once the killer moves 16 meters away from hook on different survivors. The first 3 activations of this perk will result in a 30 second block. The final activation will block all gens for 40 seconds. This is 70 seconds or 1 minute and 10 seconds.
• Deadlock- After a gen with the most progress is completed, the entity will block the gen with the next most progress for 25 seconds. This perk will trigger 4 times, with the 5th gen being done so there is no activation. There would be no other gen to block. 4 activations x 25 seconds is 100 seconds or 1 minute and 40 seconds.
• Pop goes the weasel- After hooking a survivor, you can kick a gen one time per activation to remove 20% progress. The statistics came out yesterday at the time of writing, and the average gen kicks per match was 3.5 rounded to 4. This is assuming you’re not even using this perk much. Let’s assume that you play for value out of your perk, and since you’re running this perk, you will kick gens a few more times per match, call it 7 times, 20% of 90 is 18 seconds. Per activation of the perk it will net you 18 charges of regression. 7 activations x 18 seconds per activation is 126 seconds or 2 minutes and 6 seconds.
In my opinion, this is the best regression build in the game because corrupt is hard to exactly measure for useful-ness.
FINAL RESULTS- 72 seconds (painres), + 70 seconds (grim embrace), + 100 seconds (deadlock), + 126 seconds (pop) = 368 seconds (368/60) or 6.13 minutes.
By getting full value out of these perks, a killer can easily add over 5-6+ minutes to the length of a game. This leads to the big question, how much longer do you need the games to be in order to win? 8 minutes? 10 minutes? who knows. At some point we just must admit there is a skill issue on your part for not winning with slow downs.
I hope this stops the narrative of “i have to tunnel now to win because they nerfed my slowdown perks” As proven here, they are still amazing, argue with a wall.
