Predictions / Ideas / Theories for S3 #7: Daniel & Johnny (plus a LOT more!)

2019.07.19 04:08 NAC4Ideas Predictions / Ideas / Theories for S3 #7: Daniel & Johnny (plus a LOT more!)

Hey Cobras, was away for a few but back with another P.I.T. and thought I'd get right into the meat & bones of the show.

Here's how I feel THEIR story should continue, during S3.............

E1 will really center around Johnny trying to get back into the job market (see my P.I.T. #1: Mike Barns), while also making stops to see Miguel, when not walking the streets looking for Robby. He'll even make a stride or 2 at wanting to talk to Carmen - who avoids Johnny anytime they cross paths outside their apts. Meanwhile, E1 will also center around Daniel's adjustment to working at Larusso Auto full time again, not able to fully concentrate with the events of what happened still lingering his thoughts - and we'll also see some family time at home where things are still a bit shakey with everyone at the Larusso home.

E2 (if you've read my P.I.T. #1: Mike Barns) is where Johnny would discover Mike is the new assistant at Cobra Kai. After the brief scuffle with Barns I talked about in that P.I.T., Johnny would relapse back into a drunken state. Carmen, who still avoids Johnny, also happens to have the heart to help him back inside his apt. after seeing him stumble onto the ground next to his apt. She stumbles, Johnny lands on his couch and her on top. They kiss for a moment, before she gets up and leaves his apt, not wanting anything to go further. Next morning, still on the couch, he gets a call on his now-reverted back to FLIP phone; it's the authorities who inform him they've found Robby and took him into custody - and that he is currently in juvie. Meanwhile, E1 Daniel starts getting his original Larusso Auto groove back (maybe hiring a new guy who replaces Anoush as an enhancement character for the Larusso Auto scenes). Daniel also begins thanking Amanda for the support, who reassures Daniel doesn't need karate to find that balance. During their embrace, Daniel looks out the window into his lot and front & center, is the Cobra Kai custom Challenger. He asks where it came from, and Amanda says it was brought in abandoned - which has Daniel confused, knowing Johnny really liked that car so he knows something isn't right.
-
The final scene of the episode takes place at the dealership;
Amanda tells Daniel he doesn't have to bother looking at the Cobra Kai car anymore, as someone's coming in for a trade-In and paying the difference. After she walks away, we see Daniel take another gander at the Challenger - at the very sametime, we see a blurry scene over his shoulder of a guy who's back is turned, facing the lady at the counter.
"Hi, I'm here to pick up the Cobra Kai custom Challenger". Daniel hears this, turns around and the blurry scene over his shoulder becomes clear. Not sure who it is, Daniel walks up the guy, "Excuse me, I'm Daniel Larusso, let me say Thank You for taking this off my...." (cobra drums heard) .... the guy turns to face Daniel, it's Mike Barns. "Hello, Larusso. You don't have to introduce yourself, I remember who you are!" Daniel looks like he had shell-shock, looks at the Challenger (close up shot of it), and responds with, "And I remember exactly who you are!". Amanda walks back into the scene, "Daniel, Mr. Barns here is the one we're doing the Trade-In wi.." "I know, we've met." - to which Mike just grins, tossing his keys to Daniel. The service lady hands Mike the Challenger keys; Amanda tells Daniel it's the pick-up next to the Challenger - Daniel says we're not doing the deal, when Mike speaks up, "Hey! The deal is done. I'll see you around, Larusso!" Mike exits with that intense expression at Daniel before we see him take a seat inside the Cobra Kai car, start it up and take off with it. Amanda scolds Daniel for the rude behavior, before she walks off the scene one last time. Daniel doing that Eye Squint similar to Johnny, as he watches Mike drive off with that particular car, he knows something's up.

E3;
Johnny goes to visit Robby in juvie. They talk about Miguel's progress, Shannon (Robby's mom's progress), how bad Robby feels, and that he didn't know what to do or where to run. And that for the first time in his life, he was truly scared. Not just for his own safety, but that he's not good enough to live up to everything Miyagi-Do taught him. Johnny tells Robby that he wants him to come live with him once he's released. The court hearing occurs later in the episode. Also in this episode, Johnny pulls up his laptop - as well as pulling up Facebook and this is where he discovers the Friend Request from Alli (reference my P.I.T. #6: Alli & Tory Schwarber explained).
Meanwhile in E3, if you had read my P.I.T. #3: Anthony Larusso, you'd know this is the episode Daniel walks in on Sam secretly training Anthony to counter his bullies at WVJH. Daniel's surprised and even though he doesn't encourage it, a part of him is happy that both his kids are using karate in their lives - despite that he specifically tells them "just don't let your mother find out".
-
In the Cobra Kai car, Mike, Hawk (shotgun), Tory & Mitch (sharing the back) drive through the Larusso Auto parking lot - stopping out front, Mike revs the engine loud enough to get Daniel's infuriated attention. Hawk sticks his body out, sitting on the door ledge, asks Daniel, "Where's Robby Keen? Is he ready for payback?!?" - Daniel responds, "Robby doesn't work here anymore so would you all just GO?!" - Hawk, Mitch, & Tory shout "COBRA KAI NEVER DIES!" - Mike smiles and sequels out of the dealership.
-
We'd see another interaction with Carmen & Johnny outside the apt., Johnny wanting to reconcile things out with Carmen, who's not sure what she wants.
-
At Robby's hearing, the judge releases Robby to the custody of his father Johnny Lawrence with a 1-year probation and 120hrs of community service. Robby looks glad to be out of juvie, but looks stunned when he sees Daniel & Sam in attendance. The 4 of them have a dialogue scene, where we see Johnny ask how things are, Daniel just responds with "Fine". Daniel asks Johnny how Cobra Kai is... Johnny responds saying "I wouldn't know. It belongs to John Kreese now" - Daniel looking like a light-bulb went off in his head ... Johnny then says he'll wait for Robby outside and excuses himself. Sam is somewhat distant from Robby after Robby's attempts at apologizing to both her and Mr. Larusso for what happened. Daniel responds saying he was there just to make sure Robby got a fair shake, before walking out the courtroom. Sam suggests that their relationship end, but Robby wants to fight for it, Sam reminds him that fighting is what caused all this (pointing around the courtroom) to begin with. "We're through"... Sam exits, Robby has that frustrated look on his face.
-
Daniel & Sam drive past the dealership, and a lot of the vehicles are hit with eggs and coated with feathers.
-
Johnny heads back to the hospital, but it isn't to see Miguel.... it's to see Alli, whom he's just discovered is back. She asks him what he's doing there, and he covers by saying he's there to see Miguel Diaz. Alli asks if Johnny is somehow connected with what happened to her patient.

E4;
Daniel puts out an ad for a night time security guard (in the background of the scene, can see various workers scrubbing each vehicle);
Johnny is looking through the ads for work and we see a similar montage to his Dating App dates, only with different job interviews (comical stuff lol). At the end of the montage, the classified section is all circled & X'ed out... Johnny's expression - looking over at Robby making something to eat in the kitchen - then back at the paper ... circles the night time security ad.
-
At times when Johnny leaves his apt, we'd see Carmen looking out the window - her mother reminding her that Johnny's not to blame in any of it and that Miguel's true spirit is that of a fighter. "You're his mother, it's your job to support his spirit". (in Spanish with subtitles, of course lol)
-
Johnny goes to apply for the job, sitting at Amanda's desk. Amanda brings up the personal stuff and says it might not be a good idea ... just then, Daniel walks by her office, sees Johnny there, and asks what's going on. Amanda says Johnny wants the night time security job. Understanding that Johnny is back to square one w/out Cobra Kai, Daniel makes the spontaneous decision, "You're in, Johnny". Johnny asks for 1 more favor from both Daniel & Amanda: to appear as a positive influence in a meeting with the WVH principal on getting Robby reinstated. After a bit of hesitation, Amanda agrees - only because they want to see Robby back in school as well.
-
We'd see that small meeting in the principal's office as Johnny states his case, Robby sitting silent. The principal asks for Daniel & Amanda's input, before asking Robby what he has to say for himself. Ultimately, Robby is returning to West Valley High!
-
Johnny shows up wearing his casual attire but with the security badge attached to his shirt (lol), as Daniel's there late and says he wanted to make sure this is something Johnny really wanted to do. Johnny says that w/out Cobra Kai, he doesn't really have a choice. ..... Just then, the Cobra Kai vehicle returns..... it's Barns driving, who exits the car, along with Sensei Kreese. Both Kreese & Barns poke fun of Johnny's badge, and just as Johnny is about to step up to Kreese & Barns, from the Challenger appears Hawk & Tory. Johnny pauses as his former student wants to step up to him, with Tory & Barns holding him back. Words are exchanged and just as Tory is about to re-enter the car, Johnny lets out, "If only your aunt could see you now, and who you ride with" - Tory responds with, "You know NOTHING about me!" - Hawk peers his head out the window as Mike drives away very slowly, "And tell Robby he's a marked target!" .. spinning out of the dealership.
Daniel & Johnny just stand side by side.
-
(Referencing my P.I.T. #3: Anthony Larusso); this is the scene where Amanda finds out about Sam training Anthony and finding out Daniel knew about it. She breaks and asks Daniel to leave.

E5;
Daniel is shacking up at the old Miyagi-Do dojo / Mr. Miyagi home. After school sometime, Sam and Anthony come over and they demonstrate how far along Anthony has come before "mom put a halt on things". Daniel is so impressed, he starts getting motivated to re-teach Miyagi-Do.
-
Daniel stops by Johnny's apt. and asks him to go for a ride. In the car, Daniel tells Johnny he's thinking of reopening the Miyagi-Do dojo, and says he needs someone to run the day-to-day operations while he's at the dealership. They joke about the pay. Just then, Daniel says he wants to stop and check on Miguel. Johnny is a bit nervous, as they make their way to Miguel's room - right then and there, Alli steps out of the room, her and Daniel's eyes lock. They embrace like nothing's changed, Johnny is shown as if he's trying to hide his jealousy, walking past the 2 as there's clearly tension there.
-
Miguel still uncertain of who to confide in, tells Johnny he's bring released the next day but will continue his rehabilitation at home. Johnny offers to help, but Miguel refuses, saying he isn't sure he even wants Johnny's help (especially with Robby living next door with him). After this scene, that awkwardness when a girl is conversing with her 2 ex's at the sametime.
-
Sam invites the previous Miyagi-Do students to rejoin - even inviting Aisha (reference my P.I.T. #4: Aisha Robinson).
-
Johnny asks Daniel if there are any affordable vehicles on his lot. Daniel thinks back to the old beat up truck and offers it to Johnny for Free. Johnny asks what the catch is. Daniel informs him it's Mike Barns' old truck. "You've gotta be kidding me" from Johnny. / Next scene, we see Johnny in the driver seat, "This thing better not give out on me, Larusso" - driving off with the truck making those troubled sounds.
-
First class back, Sensei Lawrence shows up ...... following him, Robby. The rest of the students watch them enter as 1) they're surprised to see Sensei Lawrence now inside the Miyagi-Do dojo and 2) they're still a bit weary of Robby due to his actions from earlier in the school year (even Daniel shows a bit of concern, asking Johnny about Robby attending; Johnny reminds Daniel that's his son and if he's not welcome, neither is he. Daniel agrees to let Robby back in).
-
Once the class begins, Johnny tries teaching what HE knows, but is corrected by Daniel & Robby (their disconnect starts reversing itself as Daniel starts realizing that Robby still remembers the teachings). Anthony is still somewhat of a shit to Johnny lol, until Daniel instructs "Antonio" to show respect.
-
When Johnny & Robby return from that class session, we see Carmen rolling Miguel back to their apt. - Miguel stares daggers at Robby, who looks back with that remorseful expression of sorrow - as does Johnny.

E6;
(Reference my P.I.T. #5: Raymond aka StingRay) ... who's realigns with Sensei Lawrence.
Hawk, Tory, Mitch, and Bert attempt to vandalize Miyagi-Do once again at night, but Daniel catches them ... they all bolt for the Cobra Kai car, but Tory trips. Hawk not wanting to get caught, speeds out while Daniel wants to help Tory back up, but she refuses the help. Daniel offers her a deal: he says he can't ever forget what she did to Sam... however, he won't call the cops in exchange for Tory to call home for a ride to pick her up........ Next we'd see Alli pull up and Daniel is flabbergasted. Alli explains that Tory's her niece.
-
Johnny on duty at the dealership, walks into Daniel's back Banzai tree room. Taken a back a bit with them, Miyagi's old music plays and we're witnessing Johnny getting a sense of how special these plants are. Day dreams back to Young Johnny working with his mom in her garden. He remembers the lesson she taught him on taking care of yourself to continue growing "like these vegetables", even into adulthood. He doesn't cry, but sheds a tear.
-
Johnny knocks on the door and Grandma Diaz answers. Johnny offers a Banzai tree to give to Miguel. After Johnny leaves, she knocks on Miguel's door and tells him his mentor brought him a gift. In his wheelchair, he opens the door and she hands it to him. He closes the door, looking at it, strolling towards his window. He tosses it out the window.
(Later on, Carmen would discover the plant remnants outside while getting the mail - should Miggy's window be near the pathway that leads to the mail boxes). She gives Miguel a similar talk like Shannon gave Robby - not to let his feelings be influenced by her feelings towards that man (Johnny Lawrence). Only difference is she talks about forgiveness and that she can eventually forgive him, as he's trying to get his life back on track - when she's ready to forgive him. She explains so should Miguel when his time to forgive arrives.
-
Amanda calls Johnny into her office and says she just got a tape that shows Johnny taking a Banzai tree from the back room and now one less tree is counted for. Fuming out of spite, she fires him. Johnny says this is bullshit. Daniel conveniently overhears this while talking to a customer - enters and finds out what's going on. Tells Amanda she can't fire him, but she already did and reminds Daniel that theft is enough cause for termination. Daniel asks what Johnny was doing with the tree, and he says it was for Miguel. Johnny walks out, tossing his badge to the corner of her office on his way out. Daniel & Amanda issues continue.
-
Johnny suggests to Daniel over the phone, charging the students for the karate lessons now that he's out of work thanks to his wife. Daniel says he's already getting paid, but Johnny explains he was getting part time money, he needs full time money, hence charging the students, to which Daniel caves and agrees.
-
At a grocery store, Johnny is getting a few things when he runs into Alli, Tory, and Tory's brother. Tory & Johnny have tension there, so she excuses herself to pay for her share of groceries. Alli asks Tory's brother to go catch up to her. Johnny & Alli walk side by side in the market. Daniel is there with Sam & Anthony; he's looking for something when he does a double-take at Johnny & Alli walking together. Daniel squints his eyes, Sam trying to get her dad's attention.
Johnny & Alli are in the checkout line, he asks her out just for coffee. She's apprehensive but accepts. Daniel in the next line over (separated by a wall of impulse purchase products), hears this and looks disappointed. Tory's little brother says he forgot to get something and gets into the same checkout line as the Larusso's. Anthony is watching a karate video on his phone and Tory's brother notices. They introduce themselves to each other and before they can boost about their siblings, Daniel calls for Anthony to get going. (S4 seed plant)

E7
Carmen knocks on Johnny's door and asks if he wants to talk. He says he'd love to, but he's getting ready for a date. Carmen without saying a word, just walks back to her apt. Johnny follows her, knowing something's wrong. He knocks on her door and Miguel answers, who's now walking with a cane. Miguel threatens Johnny to leave his mom alone, or he'll "show no mercy" towards him. Johnny looks Miguel up & down and says he couldn't whoop him when he was at his best and he himself was at his worst. Miguel throws a jab punch and connects on Johnny's face. Johnny looks stunned for a bit.... and challenges Miguel to do that again. Miguel positions himself, throws another, Johnny dodges it, "Is that the quickest you'll ever be?" - Miguel hobbles closer towards Johnny outside the apt as Johnny backs up, Miguel attempts a kick but isn't able to get any power into it. Johnny tells Miguel that kicking like that is for pussies and you don't want to be a pussy do you, Mr. Diaz?! .... NO SENSEI!! (Slow Motion!) The cane drops and Miguel sweeps Johnny's leg, dropping him on the ground while he himself falls to the ground. Johnny turns towards Miguel and smiles, Miguel breathing a bit heavy, shows that wicked smile back. Carmen runs to the doorway to see the 2 on the ground, Johnny with his hand out and Miguel accepting it. Carmen walks over to them and helps both back up before inviting Johnny inside - who says he's gotta get going, but Miguel's the one holding the door open. Johnny accepts, eventually having dinner with the Diaz family once again.
-
Alli at Starbucks, looking at her phone and no messages. Just then, Daniel coincidentally walks in and sees Alli. He ends up sitting with her and they reminisce about old times, Golf & Stuff, the tournament, and Mr. Miyagi. And they also discuss the night of that prom and what went wrong with their relationship. They forgive eachother for how all that went down, with a friendly hand embrace across the table when Amanda ironically walks into that same Starbucks and catches that exact moment. Daniel notices her leaving, letting go of Alli's hand. Explains that's his estranged wife. Alli pulls back the reigns as she was starting to open up more to Daniel and leaves.
-
Johnny continues adapting to the Miyagi-Do ways of learning, teaching and fighting.
After class, Johnny tells Robby that he's back on speaking terms with Miguel and Carmen. And that he wants to invite them over for dinner that night. Robby tries making an excuse that he wants to stay and keep working out at the dojo, but Johnny makes it clear he wants Robby there.
-
Johnny grills burgers, Carmen and Miguel get settled at the table. Robby enters the kitchen table area of Johnny's apt, and immediately there's a tension between he and Miguel. Johnny explains he really wanted to clear the air with everyone, as there needs to be a .... a sort of..... 'balance' between everyone. (Miyagi-Do is displaying itself through Sensei Lawrence). Carmen encourages this by starting out saying she and Robby talked previously (prior episode), and though it's difficult, she's learning to forgive Robby. Miguel not sure how to proceed, looks as Johnny who nods at him. Miguel proceeds to tell Robby he's not sure he'll ever forgive him for what happened. But acknowledges how happy his mom and Sensei Lawrence make eachother, so he'll live peacefully next door to Robby - who says he can accept that.
Just then, a knock at the door....... Johnny answers it, and it's Alli who's tracked him down. She reminds him that they had a date; she peeks into the doorway and sees what's going on and sees Miguel siting upright on his own, she "barges" in and checks in on him (happy to see each other). Carmen asks the good Doctor if she would like to join them for dinner, Johnny coyly shakes his head 'no', Alli gladly accepts and sits down "well an all american girl can't say no to burgers". Carmen learns of their past during this meal, and shows a bit of jealousy. Alli gets the hint that there's something between Johnny & Carmen, and the meal continues.
-
Daniel drops off Anthony in front of the house when he sees Amanda walking from the backyard hand in hand with of all people, the new guy who replaced Anoush! The 2 kiss just as Anthony is grossed out by that, walking off and leaving Amanda and her new bf kissing before they break their kiss and notice Daniel watching from his car - the new bf looks intrigued and Amanda irritated her ex ruined the moment; Daniel just drives off.
-
FINAL SCENE IN E7
Next we see Daniel at that same bar from S1. Alli just happens to show up and notices Daniel sitting alone, drinking. She asks how he's doing, "been better". She says she just came from Johnny's apt. Daniel's attention is had! She says there's nothing going on, as he's building something with Miguel Diaz' mother. (Daniel flashback to Johnny & Carmen salsa dancing) "They do make a great couple" Daniel admits. Alli asks where his wife is. Daniel says, "With the new guy". Alli is quiet for a moment.......... she leans in and kisses him. The 2 begin kissing right then and there.

E8;
INTRO SCENE
starts out with the door from Miyagi-Do opening and out steps Alli wearing Daniel's dress shirt. Walking from the front of the house, Johnny is carrying some padded equipment when the 2 startle eachother (Johnny drops the stuff). Daniel joins Alli outside and greets Johnny. Johnny brisks up to Daniel and shoves him, getting into a fighting stance - as does Daniel in return. Alli tells both of them to just stop it (and continues with the "it's been over 30yrs & you're still bickering like boys" lecture) - before telling both that they need to figure out their friendship before having anything to do with either of them; Alli grabs her things and leaves the dojo home. Johnny & Daniel are confused, "friendship?!" "Ha, as if we're friends" - they have their own awkward pause, before Daniel asks about the equipment Johnny brought in. He says the All Valley is coming up, time to really bare-down in training - also saying he understands the "gentile" approach, but when dealing with Kreese all he knows is a war and in any war, you bring it first, and you bring it hard. Daniel questionable, allows it considering Barns is also involved in Cobra Kai's training.
-
Daniel takes another trip to Mr. Miyagi's grave, talks to it and brings it up to speed on everything. After trimming the banzai tree at his gravesite, Daniel begins meditation there to close out the scene.
-
At the dojo, Johnny reverts back to his old school training style, nearly picking on the newer students and motivating them during sparring sessions inside the dojo on the mats. Sam & Robby (who are friends at this point) remind Johnny which dojo he's in. Johnny takes a deep breath and realizes he's starting to do to Daniel's dojo what Kreese did to his dojo, this past summer. Johnny apologizes and tells both Robby & Sam to take over class before leaving.
-
Johnny arrives at the Cobra Kai dojo and drops a challenge; if Miyagi-Do loses, he'll walk away from ALL karate in the Valley. But if he wins, Mike, you're fired from Cobra Kai! Johnny then asks Kreese if he's got the balls to agree to that. Kreese responds with, "Mr Lawrence. ............... you come to MY dojo and drop a challenge like that. I believe we can agree to it. Under one condition of our own: if you fail to show up, it's open season on ANY one associated with Miyagi-Do ... including you!". Johnny smiles before responding back with, "Bring it!".
-
Daniel returns to the dojo and sees Sam & Robby in charge, asks where Johnny went...
"I'm right here" opening up the gate door and holding it open...... "and so is he!" . . . . .

Miguel walking without a cane, enters the Miyagi-Do dojo. Sam is smiley while Robby looks a bit disturbed.
(to make this more dramatic, I'd have Miguel be home-schooled by his grandmother so he's not out much for others to see how far he progresses throughout S3).

E9;
Johnny gets a phone call; Sid passed away.
Later that night, Johnny's tossing & turning, remembering Sid's bullying (showing that dinner clip from S1), along with Young Johnny winning the '81 All Valley and Kreese hugging him afterwards saying, "You did it, kid!" (echoing with Sid's "Worthless" "You're like the meat in your fridge")
Johnny wakes up from a cold sweat
-
Johnny tells Robby his step-grandfather died. Robby a bit bullish, says as long as the funeral doesn't interfere with training. Johnny holds back a laugh, cracking open a Banquet.
-
Daniel takes the entire Miyagi-Do class to "the tree" deep into the woods. Miguel has a flashback and says he doesn't want to go up that high. Sam tells him he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do. Johnny intervenes "Wrong! Only a pussy would......" (stops in his tracks)..... Looks Miguel in the eyes and says, "To live & fall, one can at least attain a sense of honor in effort. But to live in fear, is to not live at all. Mr. Diaz, do you want to live?" "Yes Sensei". Miguel climbs the tree, everyone watches on with anxiety at a peak. Miguel attempts a spinning kick and falls to his stomach on the tree. Slowly getting back up, he attempts it again and executes it. Climbing back down, Sam runs up and hugs him and kisses him. Daniel asks Robby to try next. Robby says he's not ready. Johnny encourages Robby to try. Robby irritated, gets up on the tree and executes spin kick after spin kick after spin kick after spin kick before climbing back down and away from the group. Johnny says he'll go talk to him, but Miguel stops Johnny. Says he'll go talk to him.
(and while Miguel catches up to Robby, Raymond is on the tree and well - we all know how that turns out! lol)
-
When Miguel finds Robby, Robby is on 1 hand in the exact same spot Mr. Larusso was in when Robby found him in S1. Miguel clears his throat, Robby's concentration ends and wipes out on the hard rock. Robby is clearly frustrated, as Miguel and he talk to clear the air about Sam and about what happened. Miguel says they may never be friends, but forgives him for what happened. Robby wipes away those tears of pain and makes a fist and points it at Miguel - who matches fists with Robby's (fist bump). Which leads to...
-
T r a i n i n g M o n t a g e
I'd like to see the producers use "Hunger" by King Kobra
(What song suggestion would you pick for a montage?)
-
FINAL SCENE OF E9;
Both Johnny & Daniel are at the sports arena the night before the All Valley tournament, walking around the mats with just the spot light on, lighting up the center of the Semi & Finals main mat. Reminiscing about their past wins in the emptiness of the arena.
-
"What a sweet story". Both look over and it's Kreese & Barns, walking over towards the center of the main event mat. There we see Kreese & Barns standing side by side, facing Lawrence & Larusso side by side. Kreese makes a comment about Mr. Miyagi, to which Daniel warns Kreese "say 1 more thing about my Sensei, and you're asking for it". Johnny reiterates that it was Miyagi who saved his life when Kreese was choking him out 35yrs earlier. "It's just a shame he didn't croak right then and there" - Before Daniel can get into a fighting stance, John high kicks Kreese and proceeds to throw jab punches in Kreese' direction. Mike sees Daniel in a fighting stance and says, "Maybe after the tournament tomorrow, that little red headed wife of yours can come home with me" - instant fight between Daniel & Mike. With Johnny rocked on his knees, Kreese turns towards Larusso - who plants Mike down with the same arm-drag mere he beat him with in '85. Daniel turns around and is met with a kick by Kreese. And while Daniel & Kreese do battle, Mike & Johnny finally make their way back up and begin fighting...........
.... Just then, over the PA, "Excuse me gentlemen, this is the security guard, I'm going to call the cops if you 4 do not leave at this moment!".
The fight finally ends, all 4 of them are beaten up. Barns, "We'll see you assholes tomorrow!".

E10;
Carmen invites Johnny & Robby over for Breakfast; when they get there, Miguel & Gma ask Johnny what happened. "I... Iiii... I fell off a barstool. These things happen, right?". Robby drops his head in embarrassment, eating his breakfast.
-
Each student is shown packing their gear bag, at their own residence, in their rooms.
(something like Metallica's "Don't Tread On Me" playing over this sequence)
-
Sam & Anthony show up at the dojo and once Daniel opens the door, Sam looks horrified, "OMG Dad, what happened?" .... "Sensei Johnny and I, we... well... we fell off our barstools last night" Daniel responds with a big ol smile, asking Sam & Anthony what today is, and that today is the day. Tells them to help carry some stuff to the arena.

-------------------------

I'll post a later P.I.T. of just the tournament itself, with the matches and break downs - in their entirety.

-------------------------

I've gone into detail in my P.I.T. #1 Terry Silver (and Kyler) post, about the final Cobra Kai dojo scene of the season...

But this is THEE final scene of the season, after the tournament's over.....................

"So when's the funeral?" Daniel asks, "In a couple days" Johnny responds... In his original Miyagi-Do gi and in his original Cobra Kai gi, both Daniel & Johnny walk through the dojo home and into the sparring room with the mats, talking about the '84 finale. Johnny puts on his black headband, Daniel puts on his vintage Lotus headband. "I guess we just face eachother", "And bow". "Ready?" "Fight". (yes, that's their dialogue going back & forth)
They both take their time for a bit, Johnny, "Cmon Larusso, you fight great but I'm a great fighter" - to which Daniel responds with, "Hey hey, I told you everything you know about Miyagi-Do" ... Johnny, "And now, I'm gonna teach you how to be badass", "Bring it, Mr. Lawrence!" .......... Once the 2 start exchanging strikes, they both become blurry (camera pans upward and closer to the opened door entry way of the sparring room, can only hear them fighting now, camera gets closer to the empty door way, we hear heels walking on the boards of the porch getting closer .. . . . . . . . . . It's Julie Pierce, who watches on, smile growing on her face.
