Me: I have multiple devices and they all give me the same message windows 7, windows 10, osx right now I am on a mac but I have multiple os on it too and I have a windows 10 machine right next to me Gian: Okay which server did you connect to? Me: right now USA Denver Gian: Have you switched protocols? Me: I have no idea it's not a setting that's visible to me I click a location and click "connect" Gian: Okay let us switch protocol. Disconnect first then click on the 3 dots on the app > Click on Options/Preferences > Protocol tab > Select TCP or L2TP. Then connect again. Me: ok connected and testing same message "based on your ip address and using an anonomizer etc etc" Gian: Can you log out then back in on Hulu and try connecting to Los Angeles 3. Me: ok I logged out of hulu, closed the window, switched to la3 reopened the browser, logged in and same message so is this just a run around to pretend it works or what are we doing here? Gian: Not sure why it is not working for you because most of the customers I talk t today have Hulu and they are working. Me: not according to our friend google do a search on vpn compatibility with hulu and netflix anyway that's besides the point should i try netflix? so we can formally add that fail to the list. same thing with netflix "you seem to be using an unblocker or proxy" so no netflix, no hulu and no comment or help? are we done? did you fall asleep or? Me: I just tested that Arizona Gian: Oh okay... they will really not work if you are inside US. The VPN will only work if you are outside US connecting to a US server. Me: what good is it then I want to be secure AND watch hulu and I LIVE In the US Gian: We recently restrict our customers connecting from US to access US Netflix using our US servers. This is to prevent Netflix from blocking our IPs for accessing US Netflix. That explains why you cannot access Netflix using our US servers. The only way to access US Netflix using the VPN is if you connect from another country. Me: so what good is it then? I live in the USA I got it for security and I have it on all the time and since I can legally watch netflix and hulu you block me? just making sure I have this correct for my web blog and twitter so you will support people outside the USA for illegal activity, but wont provide simple security for people in the USA who want to watch Hulu legally? so how do I connect from another country if I live in the USA This is YOUR web advertisement Stream Videos and Music
