 | Noob Blender question here: submitted by Meta1ACE to blender [link] [comments] I am trying to create a 3D Ambigram, example in the first image below. However I am stuck on the best approach. At first I tried to mold these by hand, but the result was tedious and the geometry was not working out. So I decided I would try to type both the letters out, extrude them to my desired length, align them along their respective axis, and then I could just use a Boolean modifier to remove the excess. Now my problem is I end up with the object in Image 3 & 4. The "S" looks great but the W side only has faces that point in the Z axis and none in the X axis, so all you see is the outline. One fix would be for me to go to every individual intersection and create a face, however that is a lot of work for one letter, let alone an entire word.
