Donnie swaggart married

I’m quite excited for the time-jump, tbh…

2024.05.26 14:23 BlackBalor I’m quite excited for the time-jump, tbh…

Yes, it’s possibly the beginning of the end, but it’s a shake-up that the show desperately needs. And it’ll be cool for us to fill in the gaps as to what happened in that time period, who left and why. They’ll surely be some mystery and intrigue around some stuff.
ONE YEAR LATER (if they do it like that) is gonna be so trippy. Hopefully, they’ll be some massive set changes also.
Who else is looking forward to it? Like, we could jump ahead and Misbah could be marrying Donny. We just don’t know. That’s just one example… kind of like what Neighbours did.

2024.05.24 19:27 Volta-do-Martin How Good Could the Series have Been if Daphne Married Donny

Aside from the obvious benefit of Saul Rubinek sticking around; could making Donny/Daphne and Niles/Mel long term couples actually have worked?
The night before the wedding, they acknowledge that they have chemistry but maybe then they have a real conversation about it and realize that the love was parasocial and superficial. Maybe Daphne starts listing some of the real connections she’s made with Donny to contrast them with Niles idealization. Niles realizes what he does love Mel and is only afraid of repeating Maris. Niles makes the decision that is right in every context that isn’t a sitcom.
Long Term, would the series have been better or worse?
I argue maybe better. I think Daphne kind of flattened as a character post wedding. There was always that lingering sense of validating an inappropriate relationship the series did a decent job of addressing but was still there. Keeping them apart would have helped maintain their unique dynamics and you could have evolved the crush into the awkward energy of two almost lovers, and an ongoing plot line about them reestablishing friendship in honesty.
I liked Donny, and adding Mel to team Snob could have freshened then FrasieNiles dynamic at that point in the show.

2024.05.13 16:14 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 124 offenders executed by the state of Oklahoma since the 1970s (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk) [part 2, cases 63-124]

This is the second half of my list for Oklahoma's execution roster. As mentioned in the first part, I broke it in half to comply with reddit's character limitations. For the link to part 1, please click here.
The currently executed 124 offenders, cases 63-124:
63. Robert Knighton (~1960s-2003, lethal injection): In 1973, after being released from a 1968 armed robbery conviction, Knighton went on his first major crime spree. He stabbed and strangled several men and women during many robberies and home invasions. The only victim that was killed, 32 year old Coffier Day, was shot dead while Knighton was arguing with him in his home. Coffier's father, 53 year old Claude, was also injured in the shooting. Knighton's first crime spree ended when he kidnapped a married couple and their 6 year old daughter. They escaped when the wife and mother of the family attacked Knighton with a knife to protect her husband and daughter. The family then notified the police of their abduction. Knighton managed to secure a 30 year manslaughter conviction and a 10 year armed robbery conviction with a plea deal, and was released to a halfway house in 1989. There, he began dating a female addict and befriended a teenage boy. The trio embarked on a nationwide robbery spree together. In Missouri, they shot and killed 59 year old Frank Merrifield and his 40 year old stepson Roy Donahue while robbing their home, and stole guns and money from them. In Oklahoma, the trio fatally shot a couple, 64 year old Virginia and 62 year old Richard Denney, while carjacking them. Their rampage ended when a woman in Texas grow suspicious of them circling a neighborhood. Knighton had a long history of theft convictions dating back to his childhood, and joined the Aryan Brotherhood in prison. Behind bars, he frequently attacked black and Native American inmates out of racial hatred for them.
64. Kenneth Charm (1993-2003, lethal injection): Charm and his teenage cousin lured a family friend, 14 year old Brandy Hill, into their car. They raped Hill and tried strangling her with a towel. When that failed, the cousins bludgeoned her to death with a sledgehammer.
65. Lewis Gilbert II (1994-2003, lethal injection): Gilbert and his teenage accomplice committed at least 4 robbery murders in Missouri, Ohio, and Oklahoma, but he was executed for the killing of 37 year old Roxanne Ruddell. They ambushed and kidnapped Ruddell while she was fishing alone. She was robbed of $3 and her truck, tied to a tree, and shot to death. The pair also fatally shot Ruth Loader, a 79 year old Ohioan woman, while abducting her from her residence, and gunned down a Missouri couple, 86 year old William and 76 year old Flossie Brewer, in their home. Gilbert was also sentenced to death for the Brewer murders by the state of Missouri, but was incarcerated in Oklahoma State Penitentiary’s death row.
66. Robert Duckett (~1980s-2003, lethal injection): After breaking out of prison, Duckett was picked up hitchhiking by John Howard, a 53 year old store owner. Howard agreed to let Duckett stay with him until he could find a job. The pair soon had a failing out, and Duckett was evicted by his host. He retaliated by tying Howard up with wire and then beating him to death with a fireplace poker. Duckett made off with his car after he switched the license plates, and took several bank bags from his store. He had a long violent criminal history, which included several incidents of assault and robbery. One of the incidents involved the beating of an 83 year old man. Allegedly, Duckett was previously gang-raped by other inmates, and suffered from PTSD from the incident. His attorneys claimed that Howard’s sexual advances trigged those memories, and he was killed as a result of Duckett lashing out at them. However, the prosecution shot the argument down, citing that the murder happened after Duckett was evicted from the apartment.
67. Bryan Toles (1993-2003, lethal injection): Toles and his two accomplices forced themselves into the home of the Franceschi family, and shot and killed the family patriarch, 39 year old Juan, in a struggle. Juan's son, 15 year old Lonnie, was also murdered "execution style" out of fear that he could identify Toles and his accomplices. The only survivor of the attack was Norma, Juan's wife and Lonnie's mother, who escaped by hiding in her older daughter's bedroom.
68. Jackie Willingham (1994-2003, lethal injection): Willingham was a door to door salesman selling perfume in an office building. One women, 62 year old Jayne Van Wey, he tried to solicit rejected him despite his repeated offers. Angered by her "rude behavior", Willingham attacked Van Wey when they had a chance encounter near the building's restroom. He dragged Van Wey out of a stall after following her inside, slammed her head against the bathroom wall several times, and kicked her head. Reportedly, Van Wey choked to death on her own blood.
69. Harold McElmurry III (1999-2003, lethal injection): While under the influence of meth, McElmurry and his wife Vicki broke into a home that a WW2 veteran, 80 year old Robert Pendley, shared with his wife, 75 year old Rosa. Robert and Rosa were both quickly subdued and physically restrained by the couple. McElmurry clubbed Robert to death with a pipe in front of Rosa, who was forced to watch by Vicki. Vicki then held Rosa down as McElmurry stabbed her several times with scissors. After killing the Pendleys, the McElmurrys fled with $70 in cash, a pair of guns, and the victims' car. A few days after the murders, they were captured by border agents while trying to cross into Mexico.
70. Tyrone Darks (~1990s-2004, lethal injection): Darks rammed his ex wife, 26 year old Sherry Goodlow, off the road as she was driving with their 2 year old son. After Goodlow crashed, Darks pulled their son out of the wreckage, shot her to death, and then drove away with him. Just before she succumbed to her injuries, Goodlow managed to call and notify the police about her son’s abduction. The police confronted and arrested Darks at his home, and they found the boy unharmed in their search. Darks and Goodlow’s former marriage was marred with violence, and he was arrested on numerous occasions for assaulting her. On death row, Darks was involved in a scheme to defraud a foundation for 9/11 survivors.
71. Norman Cleary (~1980s-2004, lethal injection): While burglarizing an upper class home with an accomplice, Cleary shot and killed a housekeeper, 44 year old Wanda Neafus, and took her purse and a cane that her employers purchased from the Smithsonian Institution. Cleary had a long criminal history and was previously convicted of beating an 87 year old woman in her home.
72. David Brown (~1983-2004, lethal injection): For several years, Brown violently harassed his ex wife and her family. In one incident, Brown abducted his ex wife and 11 of her customers from a beauty saloon she owned, and held them hostage until he surrendered to police. He was able to leave custody on bond and went into hiding. A few years after the hostage crisis incident, Brown broke into his ex wife's family home and gunned down her father, 47 year old Eldon McGuire.
73. Hung Thanh Le (1992-2004, lethal injection): Le crept into the apartment of another Vietnamese refugee, 34 year old Hai Nguyen, and found him watching TV on the couch. He struck Nguyen from behind with a weightlifting bar, and continued stabbing him with a meat cleaver when he screamed his wife for help. Nguyen's wife phoned the police, and Le fled with the couple's safety deposit box that contained $36,000 and their wedding ring.
74. Robert Bryan (1993-2004, lethal injection): Bryan shot and killed his estranged aunt, 69 year old Mildred, dumped her body on his parents' property, and forged a $1,800 check to himself under her name.
75. Windel Workman (~1980s(?)-2004, lethal injection): Workman beat his girlfriend's daughter, 2 year old Amanda Holman, to death while babysitting her in their home. His ex wives reported that he had a history of child abuse and often violently spanked their children during their marriages.
76. Jimmie Slaughter (1991-2005, lethal injection): Fearing that she was going to tell his wife of their affair, Slaughter stabbed and shot his ex girlfriend, 29 year old Melody Wuertz, and their daughter, 1 year old Jessica. According to court documents, Slaughter mutilated both of their bodies, and he carved an "R" on Melody's stomach. He tried pinning the murders on a black man, but the investigators and the courts dismissed his allegations.
77. George Miller Jr. (1994-2005, lethal injection): During the robbery of a hotel, Miller attacked the auditor, 25 year old Kent Dodd, with a hedge shear and paint cans, and took $122 from the register. Dodd was severely beaten, had muriatic acid shoved down his throat, and was left to die. Just before he died of his injuries, Dodd gave a description of his attacker to the police that matched Miller. A massive amount of circumstantial evidence, such as wearing shoes that resembled the bloodstained footprints next to Dodd's body, a microscopic drop of blood found on his shoes that was tentatively linked to Dodd, his wife's testimony of his unaccounted absence from their home during the murder, and what appeared to be Dodd writing Miller's alias that he knew him by in his own blood, convicted him. Miller’s friends also reported that he was broke and begging them for money a day before the murder, and his wife mentioned him giving her the same amount of money that was stolen from the robbery a day after it happened.
78. Michael Pennington (1991-2005, lethal injection): Pennington shot and killed a clerk, 20 year old Bradley Grooms, while trying to rob a 7-eleven grocery store. He left empty handed when the register failed to open.

He also gunned down Anita's two children, 22 year old Tina Pennington and 13 year old Martise.
80. Richard Thornburg Jr. (1996-2006, lethal injection): A month after he was shot by an unknown assailant, Thornburg and his accomplices sought revenge by abducting 5 men that he thought was responsible from a trailer. Three of the hostages, 51 year old James Poteet, 39 year old Tery Sheppard, and 24 year old Kieth Smith, were gunned down on the spot, and Thornberg forced the fourth to shoot the fifth with the threat of killing him if he didn’t comply. They then burned down the trailer with the wounded fifth victim still trapped inside, but he managed to escape with his life. Despite being forced to put all the blame on himself in exchange for being spared, the fourth hostage still went forward to the police.
81. John Boltz (1984-2006, lethal injection): To spite his estranged wife following an argument, Boltz attacked her son, 23 year old Doug Kirby, with a knife. Kirby was stabbed a total of 11 times, and he received several fatal wounds to his chest, stomach, and neck.
82. Eric Patton (1994-2006, lethal injection): Patton forced his way into the home of 56 year old Charlene Kauer after she refused his pleading for money. After dragging her around the house as he searched for valuables, Patton stabbed Kauer several times with many different blades objects at hand such as scissors, barbecue forks, and kitchen knifes. Although he confessed to the murder, Patton blamed it on alleged demonic possession and his cocaine addiction.
83. James Malicoat (1997-2006, lethal injection): Malicoat slammed Tessa Leadford, his 13 month old daughter, against a dresser. After she died from the beating, he tucked her into bed, and waited until his daughter's mother returned from work to take her to the hospital. The doctors found that Leadford had been dead for several hours at the time of her arrival, and discovered several injuries such as broken ribs, bite marks, abdominal bleeding, and facial bruising on her body. By his own account, he had abused Leadford on a daily basis. For her role in enabling her boyfriend's treatment of their daughter, Leadford's mother was convicted of first degree murder and given a life sentence.

He was previously convicted of killing a soldier, Raymond Prentice (age unknown), and abducting the man's wife and son at the age of 19. Bland served a 20 out of 60 year sentence, and murdered Rains a year after he was released.
86. Frank Welch (~1987-2008, lethal injection): In 1987, Welch attacked 28 year old Jo Cooper, who was 4 months pregnant with her second child, in her home. She was tied up with leather straps, raped and violated with plastic toys, and strangled to death. Cooper’s body was found laying near her infant son by her husband. Another woman, 32 year old Debra Stevens, was also bound, raped, and strangled to death in her home in a near identical fashion a few months later. Although both murders went unsolved for several years, Welch abducted and raped a woman in 1994, and he received a 45 year sentence for it. His DNA samples was collected and filed after his abduction conviction, and linked to both Cooper and Stevens’ murders in a 1997 test.
87. Terry Short (1995-2008, lethal injection): In an attempt to kill his ex girlfriend, Short blew up her apartment complex with a firebomb. She and her family managed to escape, but the blast killed Ken Yamamoto, a 22 year old Japanese exchange student. Yamamoto had no connections to the targeted ex girlfriend's family beyond him having the misfortune of residing in the same apartment.

He bound his niece to his bed with handcuffs to be raped, and stabbed her to death.
89. Darwin Brown (1995-2009, lethal injection): While robbing a grocery store with three accomplices (including Billy Alverson and Michael Wilson), Brown tied up the clerk, 30 year old Richard Yost, with handcuffs, and then bludgeoned him death with a metal baseball bat. The killing was caught by security cameras, and the footage was used by the prosecution to secure the convictions of Brown and his accomplices.
90. Donald Gilson (1995-2009, lethal injection): Gilson routinely physically abused his live in girlfriend's 5 children (who were all between the ages of 8 and 12 years old). The youngest, 8 year old Shane Coffman, was beaten to death with a board for defecating on the living room carpet. He and his girlfriend then hid the body by stuffing it in a freezer. The body was kept inside it for 6 months until it was discovered by a sheriff's deputy investigating the family's abuse allegations. Gilson's girlfriend was spared the death penalty with a plea deal, and given a life sentence without the possibility of parole for her part in her son's abuse and murder.
91. Michael DeLozier (1995-2009, lethal injection): While camping with his friends, DeLozier ambushed another pair of campers, 60 year old Orville Bullard and 54 year old Paul Morgan, and shot them to death. To cover up their tracks, DeLozier and his friends set their victims' campsite on fire, and severely burned the bodies.

94. John Duty (~1970s-2010, lethal injection): Duty was given a life sentence for abducting, raping, and non fatally shooting a female store clerk during a robbery. While incarcerated, he tricked a fellow inmate, 22 year old Curtis Wise Jr. into allowing himself to be tied up as a part of a hostage ruse, and then strangled him to death with shoelaces. At the time of his murder, Wise was serving a conviction for burglary and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Duty's execution caused some controversy for the use of pentobarbital, a drug more commonly utilized by veterinarians to euthanize pets.

101. Garry Allen (1986-2012, lethal injection): Allen shot and killed his fiancee, 24 year old Lawanna Titsworth, during an argument at a day care she worked at. He fought with the responding officers trying to arrest him in an attempt to provoke a "suicide by cop" outcome. 102. George Ochoa (~1993-2012, lethal injection): A Southside Locos gang member, Ochoa and another hoodlum shot and killed a couple, 38 year old Francisco Morales and 35 year old Maria Yanez, while burglarizing their home. After the stolen car broke down, Thacker called a tow truck to pick him up. When the driver, 52 year old Ray Patterson, found that he was using a stolen credit card, Thacker stabbed him to death as well. 105. Brian Davis (2001-2013, lethal injection): Davis went searching for his girlfriend and their daughter when he found them missing from their home, and called his girlfriend's mother, 56 year old Josephine Sanford, about their whereabouts. Sanford dropped by the couple's residence after failing to find her daughter and granddaughter. At her arrival, she was raped, beaten, and stabbed to death by Davis. He then left the body in the house, drove off with Sanford’s van, and injured himself in a car accident. As Davis was high while driving, he was arrested for being under the influence. The detaining officers weren’t aware of the murder until Davis’ girlfriend returned to the home later that night, and called 911 after finding her mother’s corpse.

Although he was captured and convicted for Fremin's murder, Travis' killing went unsolved until a 1997 DNA test. Banks was originally sentenced to death for Fremin's murder, but it was lifted in favor of a life sentence. He was condemned for a second time after his conviction for Travis' murder.
107. Ronald Lott (~1980s-2013, lethal injection): A sexual predator of elderly women, Lott broke into the homes of 93 year old Zelma Cutler and 83 year old Anna Fowler after cutting off their power. They forced Poque off the road, pulled him out of his car, and stabbed him a total of 10 times. Pogue's son in law was also dragged out and attacked, but he managed to escape with his life. Neiman was also bound and initially survived getting shot multiple times. Out of frustration, Lockett buried her alive, and she succumbed to a combination of suffocation and her injuries. Lockett and his accomplices also gang-raped Hair and beat Bornt, but spared them on the forced condition of their silence. His execution was controversial, as Lockett convulsed for 45 minutes after being injected, and then died from a heart attack. He also had a long criminal history, and was first arrested for burglary as a teenager.
112. Charles Warner (1997-2015, lethal injection): Warner raped his girlfriend's daughter, 11 month old Adriana Waller, and shook her to death. His execution sparked outcry, as the wrong fatal drug was administered by mistake, and Warner complained of "burning pain" as he was being injected. With the botched executions of Lockett and Warner back to back, the state of Oklahoma delayed further executions until 2021.
113. John Grant (~1970s-2021, lethal injection): While serving a 130 year sentence for armed robbery, Grant stabbed a prison cafeteria worker, 58 year old Gay Carter, to death. He amassed a following from the anti death penalty movement for claiming that his father was responsible, but such notions were debunked following a 2023 DNA test that concluded Sanchez’s guilt.
123. Phillip Hancock (~1982-2023, lethal injection): In 1982, Hancock shot a drug dealer, 27 year old Charles Warren, dead in a dispute over stolen jewelry and was given a manslaughter conviction for it. He was released after serving a 2 year term. About 17 years later, he shot and killed 58 year old James Lynch III and 37 year old Robert Jett Jr. in a drug house. Despite an eyewitness account describing Lynch and Jett begging for their lives, the case attracted scrutiny when Hancock's attorneys claimed that the shootings were done in self defense.
124. Michael Smith (~2002-2024, lethal injection): A member of the Oak Grove Posse gang, Smith was responsible for two separate fatal shootings on the same day. In one of his murders, he killed Sharath Pulluru, a 24 year old Indian immigrant that worked as a clerk, while robbing a gas station. The other murder occurred when he tried to confront a gang member that he thought was a police informant in his apartment, and gunned down the target’s mother, 40 year old Janet Miller-Moore, when she refused to give away her son’s location. Smith was also given a life sentence for delivering a gun to a shooter that carried out another gang killing.

2024.05.09 20:07 bachelorfan34 Brynley Age

Alright guys... I was SHOCKED when I looked up Brynley's age and saw that it was 24! I can't believe she is a mom of 2 at 24! I assumed she was younger than Jensen.
How old was she when she got married to Donny? And then how old was Jensen when she got married? Is Quincy older than Brooks?

2024.05.08 11:00 New_Explanation6950 Has anyone ever been Martha?

In my early 20s I had my Martha moment. I was in a serious relationship with a guy that had been telling me for a year he wanted to spend his life with me and was desperate to marry me. We couldn’t have been happier, I thought. We never fought and he just felt like my forever person. He was so devoted to me, and I to him.
The only stain on our relationship was I had an abortion, which I got alone because he didn’t want to be there.
One day he woke up and told me he had no idea why but something had internally shifted overnight and he had to end our relationship. He said until that day he had never doubted us, and he couldn’t explain where this feeling came from but just knew himself and that it would never change. The day before he had begged me to never leave him.
I was devastated. For several months we continued to hook up, while I hoped he’d change his mind, but he was resolute.
Then one day he ghosted me. I lost my mind and did things I’m not proud of - blew up his phone, sent him desperate emails. When he didn’t respond, I went to his place of work which was next to mine and waited outside for him to leave for the day, following him until he spoke to me. We resumed our situationship and he promised he’d never ghost me again. My anxiety overwhelmed me as I had abandonment issues from childhood and I began to feel suicidal.
A few weeks later he gave me a beautiful gift for my birthday and took me on a mountain hike. The next day he ghosted me again, but this time it was worse. He changed his number, emailed me never to contact him again, and called my mother to tell her what he was doing.
I sent him two very angry emails. He was supposed to pay for his half of my abortion and he never did. I asked him what his plan was for that. No response.
This is where I crossed a line and I can’t seem to forgive myself for what I did. He worked at an IT help desk but it was kind of tucked away in an office without other people around. Regardless anyone could enter and engage with him. Sort of like Donny tending the bar. I stepped into his office and confronted him about the abortion money. I wanted to humiliate him. He immediately stood up and tried to push me out. Meanwhile his boss who had overheard the conversation stepped in and asked him if they should call the police. I left.
Finally, a few weeks later, we arranged a time for him to drop off the check to me. We met on the street and he came on a bike for a quick getaway. I handed him a handwritten letter telling him how much I loved him and saying goodbye.
We never spoke again. Since we lived in the same small town, we’d sometimes pass each other silently on the street. Once I was sitting in a park and I overheard him tell a friend I was “psychotic” and he’d get a restraining order if I ever tried to contact him again.
It’s been many years since that happened and I still feel so much shame about my behavior. What struck me watching this show was the compassion Donny felt for Martha. That’s something my ex didn’t exactly give me - calling me “psychotic” when I was struggling with deep trauma from my childhood being triggered. Seeing that compassion in the show made me feel like I should try to finally forgive myself but it’s hard.
Does anyone else have a Martha story in their own past to share?

2024.05.06 15:33 Leather_Focus_6535 The 113 inmates executed by Virginia in the post Furman era and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk) [part 1, cases 1-58]

This is the list that I wrote for the 113 inmates executed by the state of Virginia, from the 1976 Gregg national reinstatement of the death penalty to the state abolishing it in 2021. For the sake of clarification, the dates given here are an approximate timeframe of the offender's earliest known criminal activities to their executions. Many of the crimes surveyed here are also extremely horrific, and the gory details are discussed in my descriptions. Please read at your own risk.
Unfortunately, as with Missouri, the list exceeds the maximum 40,000 character count Reddit allows for submissions, and thus I had to split it into two separate posts. Here is the link to part 2 of this list.
The 113 executed offenders:
1. Frank Coppola (~1960s-1982, electric chair): Coppola, his wife, and two other accomplices hatched a plan to rob Payton Wetchell, a 55 year old car dealer, at his home. One of the accomplices posed as a delivery girl, and lured Payton's wife, 51 year old Muriel, out by ringing the doorbell. The group then forced themselves inside at gunpoint and tried extorting from her valuables though beatings. Mariel’s head was slammed against the door numerous times, and she ended up dying from suffocating on her vomit and a brain hemorrhage. When Peyton arrived at the scene, he was beaten as well. Although he survived, the treatment for the fractures required Peyton to have a steel plate grafted on his forehead, and he took his own life about a decade after the incident. The Coppolas and their accomplices made off with $3,000 and 3 rings. Coppola was a career burglar, and lost his job as a policeman for failing to report inmate abuse. His execution caused some controversy, as a witnesses described Coppola's legs catching fire during the electrocution.
2. Linwood Briley (~1971-1984, electric chair): In 1971, at the age of 16, Briley killed his neighbor, 57 year old Orline Christian, in a sniper attack from his bedroom window while she was laying clothesline. He escaped prosecution by convincing authorities that it was an accident. 8 years later, Briley went on a rape and robbery spree with two of his brothers (including James) and another accomplice. They murdered anywhere between ~12-21 males and females in their attacks. Their means of killings were very diverse and circumstantial, and completely indiscriminate on who they killed. The eldest known victim was 76 year old Mary Gowen, whom they raped and shot to death, while their youngest was 5 year old Harvey Barton, who was shot dead after the gang gang-raped and murdered his pregnant mother, 23 year old Judy. Some like, 17 year old Christopher Philips had his head crushed with a concrete block, a few others like 62 year old Mary Wilfong were beaten to death with baseball bats, and 59 year old Charles Garner was fatally stabbed with scissors and a fork. Almost all the victims were murdered in their homes, but some were attacked at their jobs. While on death row, Briley and James escaped with 4 other inmates, but were recaptured after a 3 week long manhunt.
3. James Briley (~1970s-1985, electric chair): He was one of Linwood Briley's brothers, and he assisted in him in the robbery, rapes, and murders of at least 12 to 21 people. As previously mentioned, Briley and Linwood broke out of prison on death row with several other inmates, and were all recaptured within weeks after their escape.
4. Morris Mason (~1960s-1985, electric chair): Mason broke into the homes of two elderly women, 86 year old Ursula Stevenson and 71 year old Margaret Hand. In both attacks, the victims were raped, beaten with an ax handle, bound and nailed to chairs, and burned alive when he set their houses on fire. He also attacked a pair of sisters, who were 12 and 13 years old, in their home. The 13 year old grabbed a gun from their father’s closet for protection, but Mason wrestled the gun away, and shot her instead. She survived with crippling injuries. Mason then kidnapped the 12 year old, took her to a nearby forest, and sodomized her. He covered the girl with leaves, lit them on fire, but she survived with only minor burns to her hair and shirt. Mason was also responsible for several burglaries during his crime spree, and was convicted several previous times for arson attacks. Authorities believe that Mason was committing acts of arson since his childhood. His execution sparked some controversy, due to him allegedly having a cognitive disability.
5. Michael Smith (~1970s-1986, electric chair): Smith kidnapped 35 year old Audrey Weiler while she was walking from a beach. He dragged her into a forest and raped her. During the sexual assault, Smith stabbed Weiler and drowned her in a nearby river. At the time of the attack, Smith was a sex offender with a rape conviction, and had reoffended against Weiler only months after his release from prison.
6. Richard Whitley (1980-1987, electric chair): Whitley went to the home of his occasional employer, 63 year old Phoebe Parsons, to vent about his broken marriage. As they were conversing, he stabbed Parsons to death. During the attack, he sodomized Parsons with an umbrella, and engaged in sex acts with her body. He then sacked the home of any valuables, stole her car, and fled to Florida.
7. Earl Clanton Jr. (~1971-1988, electric chair): At the age of 17, Clanton killed an unidentified woman in circumstances largely undisclosed beyond it being a robbery. Although Clanton was given a 26-28 year sentence, he was paroled 8 years later. A year after his release, he strangled a neighbor, 38 year old Wilhemina Smith, during a robbery of her home. He also had a malicious wounding conviction when he badly injured a teenage boy with brass knuckles, and his mother had made complaints of him stealing money from her. However, Clanton claimed that she faked her complaints in retaliation for him refusing a sexual relationship with her. Clanton also took part in the mass prison escape orchestrated by the Briley brothers, but was recaptured with them.
8. Alton Waye (1977-1989, electric chair): Waye invaded the home of 61 year old Lavergne Marshall, and stabbed her 42 times. He then raped Marshall and poured bleach on her body.
9. Richard Boggs (1984-1990, electric chair): After Boggs killed an unidentified man in a hit and run accident, he rushed to the home of his neighbor, 87 year old Treeby Shaw. When she offered him tea, Boggs hit her in the head with a steel object, and stabbed her to death with a butcher knife. He stole some silver from the home, which was discovered by investigating police officers in his car. On an unrelated side note, Boggs' older brother was shot dead by police during a car chase some years after his execution.
10. Wilbert Evans (~1964-1990, electric chair): While incarcerated for a robbery in North Carolina, Evans was transferred to Virginia to testify at a murder trial. While being transported in a prison van, he decided to take the opportunity to escape, and seized a gun from one of his escorts, 47 year old William Truesdale. Truesdale was shot dead during the struggle and Evans used the gun to destroy his handcuffs. Although he managed to jump out of the van, Evans was cornered by police officers only a few blocks away, and was recaptured followed a bungled suicide attempt. Evans had an extensive criminal history, and was convicted of robbing a gas station at the age of 18. During his time on death row, he protected staff members held hostage from being raped and abused by the Briley brothers during their attempted escape. His execution caused some controversy, as blood was observed coming out of his blood, nose, and eyes during the fatal shocks.
11. Buddy Justus (1978-1990, electric chair): Justus abducted and raped 3 women, 32 year old Rosemary Jackson, 21 year old Stephanie Hawkins, and 21 year old Ida Moses, and shot them to death. He was charged with a 4th murder, as Moses was pregnant and her unborn child also died in the attack. In two of his known murders, Justus was assisted by an 18 year old man that he befriend after he picked him up hitchhiking. He also received several life and death sentences in the states of Georgia and Florida.
12. Albert Clozza (1983-1991, electric chair): Clozza snatched 13 year old Patricia Bolton while she was walking home from a bookmobile. He dragged the girl into a forest and sodomized her with a twig. She was also severely beaten in the attack, and the corner's report mentioned that Bolton was "asphyxiated by her own blood."
13. Derrick Peterson (1982-1991, electric chair): During a holdup of a grocery store, Peterson shot and killed the manger, 45 year old Howard Kauffman. He then ran off with thousands of dollars worth in checks and cash.
14. Roger Coleman (~1977-1992, electric chair): Coleman tricked his sister-in-law, 19 year old Wanda McCoy, into letting him inside her house. He then raped and stabbed her, and she was nearly decapitated in the attack. A long standing sex offender, Coleman was convicted of raping a woman in her home a few years prior to McCoy's murder, and had exposed himself to two other women just before the killing. Unfortunately for him, one of the women happened to be an artist, and she drew a sketch that enabled the police to identify him for the murder. Despite his past offenses, Coleman had a strong following for his innocence among the anti death penalty crowd. A notion that was debunked following a 2006 DNA test that concluded his guilt.
15. Edward Fitzgerald Sr. (1980-1992, electric chair): Out of fear of her being a police informant, Fitzgerald abducted his drug dealer, 22 year old Patricia Cubbage. He raped and stabbed her 184 times, and reportedly carved a "tick-tack-toe design" into Cubbage's back.
16. Willie Jones (1983-1992, electric chair): Jones tricked the parents of an acquaintance, 78 year old Myra and 80 year old Graham, into letting him inside their house by pretending to be an undercover cop searching for missing children. He shot and killed Graham, tied up and gagged Myra, locked her in a closet, and stole their entire life savings (which amounted to $30,000). To destroy any evidence of his crime, Jones set the house on fire. Myra, who was still tied up and trapped in her closet, was burned alive. Jones was also one of the inmates that escaped from death row with the Briley brothers, but was recaptured weeks after the breakout
17. Timothy Bunch (1982-1992, electric chair): Bunch, a then active service Marine, was dating Su Cha Thomas, a 40 year old South Korean immigrant. Believing that Thomas was too much like his “slut” ex wife, Bunch decided that he wanted to rob and kill her. He tricked Thomas into letting him inside her home with the promise of a date. She was shot in the head and Bunch hung the body to a closet doorknob with a scarf. Bunch then ransacked the home, and stole a watch, diamond ring, and a pearl necklace. According to investigators, he confided in them that he had an orgasm while robbing and murdering Thomas. After the killing, Bunch was deployed to Japan, but extradited back to Virginia to face trial for Thomas’ murder.
18. Charles Stamper (1978-1993, electric chair): While robbing a restaurant that he worked at, Stamper shot and killed three of his co workers, 43 year old Agnes Hicks, 35 year old Franklin Cooley, and 20 year old Steven. He stole a total of $4,000 in the robbery. On death row, Stamper was attacked by fellow death row inmate Lem Tuggle for allegedly being a snitch. The assault left him permanently paralyzed, which made his execution somewhat controversial.
19. Syvasky Poyner (~1970s-1993, electric chair): Poyner shot and killed 5 females, 72 year old Louise Paulett, 45 year old Joyce Baldwin, 44 year old Carolyn Hedrick, 43 year old Chestine Brooks, and 17 year old Vicki Ripple during a two week long robbery spree. He directed his attacks towards beauty parlors, supermarkets, ice cream shops, and motels. A life long career criminal, Poyner had several auto theft, forgery, and burglary convictions, and his earliest date back to when he was 14 years old.
20. Andrew Chabrol (1991-1993, electric chair): Chabrol, a Navy serviceman, made unwanted advances on a fellow married sailor, 27 year old Melissa Harrington, and refused to back down despite repeated rejections. Harrington filed sexual harassment charges, and Chabrol was dismissed from service following an investigation. Angered by the loss of his career and her rebuffing his advances, Chabrol kidnapped Harrington from her home with the help of a friend, and tied her to his bed. He then raped and strangled her to death. The case attracted outcry years later when it was discovered that Chabrol and Harrington’s remains were buried in close proximity to each other in the Arlington cemetery.
21. Joe Wise (1983-1993, electric chair): Wise abducted 45 year old William Ricketson during a robbery. He beat and shot his captive in the eye and chest, dumped him in a water hole used for an abandoned power plant's lavatory, and drove off with his truck. Although Ricketson survived the shooting, he drowned in the hole.
22. David Pruett (~1975-1993, electric chair): In 1975, Pruett fatally stabbed his co worker, 22 year old Debra McInnis, while robbing a restaurant they worked at together. As the investigators weren't able to solve the McInnis murder, Pruett remained a free man. 11 years later, he tied up his friend's wife, 35 year old Wilma Harvey, in the couple's home while her husband was out of town. He raped Harvey, stabbed her 29 times and slit her throat, ransacked the house for any valuables, and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Pruett was also tried and sentenced for an unrelated rape incident alongside Harvey and McInnis' murders.
23. Johnny Watkins Jr. (1983-1994, electric chair): Watkins gunned down two store clerks, 41 year old Carl Buchanan and 22 year old Betty Barker, during a week long robbery spree. In the robberies that killed Buchanan and Barker, Watkins stole a combined total of $125. His brother Ronald was also executed for an unrelated robbery murder [for more details, please see section 49 on Ronald Watkins].
24. Timothy Spencer (~1980s-1994, electric chair): Spencer broke into the residences of at least 5 women and girls, 44 year old Susan Tucker, 35 year old Debbie Davis, 32 year old Susan Hellams, 32 year old Carolyn Hamm, and Diane Cho, a 15 year old South Korean immigrant, and raped them. All the verified victims were strangled to death with ligatures and ratchets. Another man was falsey convicted of Hamm's murder, but was cleared of guilt in a 1989 DNA test. The falsely accused man was one of the first inmates to be exonerated using DNA testing, while paradoxically Spencer was the first serial killer to be convicted with DNA evidence. Spencer also had a history of burglaries before his killing sprees.
25. Dana Edmonds (1983-1995, lethal injection): During a robbery of a grocery store, Edmonds tied up a grocer, 62 year old John Elliott. He bashed Elliot's head with a brick, stabbed his neck, and took $40 from the register.
26. Willie Turner (~1970s-1995, lethal injection): In 1978, Turner shot and killed W. J. Smith, a 54 year old jeweler, during a jewelry store robbery. A few years prior to Smith's murder, Turner had killed an unidentified inmate in largely undisclosed circumstances while serving time for a malicious wounding conviction, but was let out on parole. While on death row, Turner took part in the Briley brothers led breakout, and made several escape attempts on his own. In one incident, Turner pretended to have smuggled a gun in his cell, and used the hoax to make threats against the prison staff.
27. Dennis Stockton (~1950s-1995, lethal injection): 18 year old Kenneth Arnder allegedly crossed a dealer during a drug deal. The dealer retaliated by paying Stockton $2,000 to kill him. Stockton lured Arnder in his car with the promise of driving him to safety, and shot the youth in the eyes. He cut the hands off his body to prevent identification and dumped it in a remote North Carolinan forest. Stockton had a long criminal history since he was a teenager, which included several convictions of arson, safecracking, drug dealing, and weapons possession charges. Police also found dismembered body parts kept in a jar in his home, but Stockton claimed that it was simply a gift given to him by a biker gang, and he only kept the remains to show off at parties.
28. Mickey Davidson (1990-1995, lethal injection): Davidson’s wife, 36 year old wife Doris, made a decision to leave him for her ex husband. In a jealous rage, he beat her and her two daughters, 14 year old Mamie and 13 year old Tammy Clutterback, to death with a crowbar.
29. Herman Barnes (1984-1995, lethal injection): Barnes held up a grocery store at gunpoint, and shot and killed the owner, 72 year old Clyde Jenkins. Mohammad Afifi, a 42 year old Palestinian immigrant that worked as the store’s clerk, was also gunned down when he came to his boss’s aid.
30. Walter Correll Jr. (1985-1996, lethal injection): Correll and two accomplices ambushed, carjacked, and kidnapped 24 year old Charles Bousman Jr. after they motioned him to stop on a remote highway. After they stole his rings and watch, they beat and stabbed Bousman to death, dumped his body in a nearby forest, and drove off with his car. His execution was a source of contention, as Correll's supporters and attorneys assert that he was an intellectually disabled man set up by his accomplices for lesser sentences.
31. Richard Townes Jr. (~1970s-1996, lethal injection): Townes shot a clerk, 32 year old Virginia Goebel, in the head while robbing a grocery store, and stole $183 from the register. He had a long history of violent robberies, and had shot and wounded a taxi driver after holding him hostage for 6 hours several years before Goebel's murder.
32. Joseph Savino III (~1980s-1996, lethal injection): After he was released on parole from an armed robbery conviction, Savino beat his boyfriend, 64 year old Thomas McWaters, to death with a hammer in their home. According to Savino, McWaters was pressuring him for sex, and threatened to have his parole revoked if it was withheld.
33. Ronald Bennett (1985-1996, lethal injection): Bennett broke into the home of Anne Vaden, a 28 year real estate agent. After he tied Vaden up, Bennett beat, strangled, and stabbed her to death. One of Vaden's rings was stolen in the robbery, and he gave it to his wife. The murder was left cold for a year, but was solved when Bennett's wife drunkenly confessed her husband's deeds to a friend while showing off the ring.
34. Gregory Beaver (~1980s-1996, lethal injection): After Beaver escaped from a Maryland rehab center, he went on a rampage that involved stealing a car and storming a restaurant his stepfather owned to rob and assault him. While speeding away from the scene with a hitchhiker he picked up, Beaver was pulled over by Leo Whitt, a 49 year old state trooper. In the scuffle that broke out, Beaver shot and killed Whitt. The hitchhiker then tricked Beaver into stopping at a nearby restaurant, and he used the payphone to call the police on him. Beaver previously had 10 unspecified felony convictions, which was why he was placed by his family in the Maryland rehab center.
35. Larry Stout (1987-1996, lethal injection): Stout assaulted a dry cleaning store with a knife, slashed the throat of the owner, 40 year old Jacqueline Kooshian, and stole $1,200.
36. Lem Tuggle Jr. (~1971-1996, lethal injection): In 1971, Tuggle raped and fatally strangled 16 year old Shirley Brickey, and was given a 20 year sentence for it. He was released from prison after serving 10 years. Two years after his release, Tuggle lured 52 year old Jessie Havens from a dance hall, and then raped and shot her to death. On death row, he participated in the mass escape orchestrated by the Briley brothers, and paralyzed the above mentioned Charles Stamper for allegedly being an informant.
37. Ronald Hoke (1985-1996, lethal injection): Hoke forced his way inside the home of 56 year old Virginia Stell, a woman he met at a bar. He raped and stabbed her to death with a knife taken from the kitchen, and stole some medication from Stell's purse.
38. Michael George (1979-1997, lethal injection): In 1979, George lured 9 year old Larry Perry from his grandparents' home, and shot the boy dead after raping him. As the body was never found and the prosecution couldn't disprove his claims of it being an accidental killing, George was able to secure an involuntary manslaughter plea deal from the courts, and was released within two years for good behavior. After his release, he molested several teenage boys, and expressed fantasies about them being sexually tortured by "evil creatures" in the forest in his written works of fiction. In 1990, George made his fantasies a reality when he ambushed and abducted 15 year old Alexander Sztanko while the boy was ridding a motorbike. He shackled Sztanko to a tree, sodomized him with a stun gun, sliced pieces of his skin with a machete, shot him in the head, and stole his motorbike. Other teenage boys in the area also reported being assaulted in the same manner as Sztanko by a “Rambo like” camouflaged assailant. Although it is strongly believed that George was responsible for the attacks, he wasn't convicted of them.
39. Coleman Gray (1985-1997, lethal injection): Gray kidnapped 49 year old Richard McClelland while robbing a store he managed. He forced McClelland to collect over $12,000 in cash, drove his captive to a remote dirt road, and shot him six times in the head.
40. Roy Smith (1988-1997, lethal injection): Smith got into a violent argument with his wife in their home, and the neighbors called the police on him. He fired on the responding officers, and killed John Conner, a 38 year old sergeant. The remaining officers managed to subdue him after a brief standoff and physical struggle.
41. Joseph O'Dell III (~1958-1997, lethal injection): O'Dell was condemned for the abduction, rape, and strangulation murder of 44 year old Helen Schartner. She was last seen leaving from a night club, and her body was found near a beach. His execution was controversial, as O'Dell had a massive support base who believed in his innocence. The circuit court's decision to burn the DNA evidence relating to the Schartner case in 2000 sparked further outcry from them. Despite this, O'Dell was a long time felon with over 17 convictions dating back to the 1950s, and a woman claimed to have escaped a kidnapping attempt from him.
42. Carlton Pope (~1982-1997, lethal injection): Pope shot and killed 24 year old Cynthia Gray and wounded her sister while robbing them at a pool. He had a malicious wounding conviction when he shot a friend in the toe, and was paroled months before Gray's murder for that sentence.
43. Mario Murphy (1992-1997, lethal injection): 37 year old James Radcliff's wife hired Murphy to kill him in order to collect a life insurance policy. She, her boyfriend, Murphy, and 3 other conspirators pounced on Radcliff while he was sleeping in his bed, and they stabbed and beat him to death with a metal pipe. Due to all the other conspirators accepting plea deals, Murphy was the only one sentenced to death for the murder, which he perceived was because of Mexican nationality. His death sentence and execution also caused a minor diplomatic dispute with Mexico.
44. Dawud Mu'Min (1973-1997, lethal injection): At the age of 19 in 1973, Mu'Min shot and killed Charles Shupe, a 43 year old taxi driver, while robbing his taxi. He was given a 48 year sentence for the murder. 15 years later, Mu'Min was assigned to a inmate labor program. While working on a road, he pretended to be on a lunch break, and took the opportunity to sneak away from his escorts and supervisors. Mu'Min broke into a shopping center, raped Gladys Nopwasky, a 42 year old retailer, and stabbed her 16 times with a screwdriver. After he stole $4 from her purse, Mu'Min returned back to the work program.
45. Michael Satcher (1990-1997, lethal injection): Satcher ambushed 23 year old Anne Borghesani while she was biking near a highway. He raped, beat, and stabbed her 16 times with an axl. Another young woman was also assaulted by Satcher in a similar fashion, but she survived the attack. Both of their purses were stolen and disposed of in the same bush.
46. Thomas Beavers Jr. (1990-1997, lethal injection): Beavers broke into the home of 61 year old Marguerite Lowery, and raped and suffocated her to death with a pillow. He sacked the house, stole her jewelry, and drove off with Lowery's car. The killing went unsolved until a year later when Beavers was arrested for sexually assaulting a neighbor in circumstances nearly identical to Lowery's murder. A police search while investigating the neighbor incident found Lowery's stolen jewelry in his house.
47. Tony Mackall (1986-1998, lethal injection): While holding up a gas station at gunpoint, Mackall shot the cashier, 31 year old Mary Dahn, and took $515 from the register.
48. Douglas Buchanan Jr. (1987-1998, lethal injection): Enraged that his father, 43 year old Douglas, married a much younger woman, 31 year old Geraldine, shortly after his mother's passing, Buchanan shot him to death in their home. He also gunned down and stabbed Geraldine and her two sons, 13 year old Joel and 10 year old Donnie.
49. Ronald Watkins (1988-1998, lethal injection): While robbing a store that he formerly work at, Watkins stabbed the store owner, 29 year old William McCauley, 7 time in his back and slit his throat. McCauley's body was discovered by his father, who stopped by to check on his son after he failed to return home on time. As a sidenote, Watkins was the younger brother of the above mentioned Johnny Watkins Jr..
50. Ángel Breard (1992-1998, lethal injection): Breard stabbed his neighbor, 29 year old Ruth Dickie, to death during a botched rape in her home. He also made another unsuccessful attempt at sexually assaulting a second neighbor half a year later, which enabled investigators to tie him to Dickie's murder. His death sentence and execution sparked outrage in his native Paraguay.
51. Dennis Eaton (1989-1998, lethal injection): Eaton and his girlfriend, 24 year old Judy McDonald, carjacked 68 year old Ripley Marston Sr. and 26 year old Walter Custer Jr., and shot them both dead. While speeding away from the murder scene, the couple were pulled over by a state trooper, 48 year old Jerry Hines, and gunned him down as well. In the following police chase, Eaton ended up crashing his car into a telephone pole, and injured McDonald in the process. As they were corned, Eaton finished off McDonald by shooting her in the head, and made an attempt to commit suicide before he was subdued.
52. Danny King (~1980s(?)-1998, lethal injection): King and his then wife duped Carolyn Rogers, a 55 year old real estate agent, into letting them inside a vacant house by posing as clients. They jumped Rogers as she was giving them a tour of the house. She was choked with King's bare hands and stabbed to death in the assault. The couple then stole rings and checks from her purse. Both King and his ex wife blamed each other for the murder, but King was the one that was convicted of it by the courts. King also had a long history of robbery and car thefts, and was released from prison 10 days before the murder.
53. Lance Chandler Jr. (~1987-1998, lethal injection): Chandler shot and killed a clerk, 33 year old William Dix, during a convenience store robbery. He had a criminal record dating back to the age of 14, and had previous arrests for armed robbery, assaulting officers, and public intoxication.
54. Johnile DuBois (~1990s-1998, lethal injection): During a convenience store robbery, DuBois and 3 teenage accomplices tried forcing the clerk, 39 year old Philip Council, to open the register for them. When they thought he was acting too slow, the DuBois and the other robbers beat Council and shot him to death. DuBois had a history of thefts, illicit firearms possessions, assault, and probation violations.
55. Kenneth Stewart Jr. (1991-1998, lethal injection): Stewart separated from his wife, 35 year old Cynthia, after their marriage disintegrated. He was forbidden by the courts from being in contact with their son, 5 month old Jonathan, without Cynthia's consent. To overcome the custody barriers, Stewart tried to reconcile with Cynthia. When she refused, he shot her and Jonathan dead in her home.
56. Dwayne Wright (1989-1998, lethal injection): Wright went on a weeklong crime spree in Maryland and Virginia. In his Maryland attacks, he shot and killed 31 year old Odell Thomas and 24 year old Reginald Turman, and stole Turman's car and a total of $400. He then drove to Virginia, and held Saba Tekle, a 34 year old Ethiopian refugee, at gunpoint in her apartment. Wright forced Tekle to undress, shot her dead when she resisted his attempts at sexual assault, and swapped Truman’s car for hers.
57. Ronald Fitzgerald (1993-1998, lethal injection): Fitzgerald shot and killed 39 year old Coy White in his home in order to get his hands on the man’s 13 year old daughter. He abducted and raped the girl after forcing her to steal money from her father’s pockets, and left her locked in the trunk of his car. After abandoning White’s daughter, Fitzgerald flagged down a taxi driver, Hugh Morrison (age unknown), and shot him dead. Fitzgerald used Morrison’s stolen taxi to kidnap an 18 year old woman and her two children, and drove them to a motel. He raped the 18 year old in the motel room while her two children were watching tv. The family were spared and released, and Fitzgerald forced a couple to drive him to a courthouse with the intentions of committing suicide there. However, the attempt failed with his gun jamming, and he was captured by the police.
58. Kenneth Wilson (1993-1998, lethal injection): Wilson forcibly entered the home of his cousin's girlfriend, 31 year old Jacqueline Stephen, with a knife. He bound Stephen to a bed, and tied her 12 year old daughter and her daughter's 14 year old friend to the bed's posts. Wilson then made an attempt to rape Stephen, and cut her and the girls' throats. Stephen died at the scene, while both of the girls survived their injuries.

2024.05.01 19:46 Leather_Focus_6535 The 77 inmates executed by the state of Georgia since the 1970s and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk)

Here is the list that I wrote for Georgia's post Furman execution roster for my death penalty project. Like with the previous posts, the dates aren't a precise duration of time spent on death row, but rather an approximation of their earliest known criminal activities to their executions. Many of the crimes discussed in this post are also extremely horrific, and thus please read at your own risk.
As I finished finials yesterday, the remaining states, Missouri, Virginia, Florida, and Oklahoma might be released on a quicker pace. I'm planning on doing Missouri next, but it might be split into at least two separate parts due to the currently 98 executions that have taken place.
The currently executed 77 inmates:
1. John Smith (1974-1983, electric chair): Smith and his wife decided to kill her ex husband, 38 year old Ronald Atkins, and his 29 year old wife Juanita, when they learned that the daughter she had in their former marriage were beneficiaries of the Atkins' life insurance policy. The couple and another accomplice lured the Atkins' to their home with a promise of selling them a television set, and shot them both dead.
2. Ivon Stanley (1976-1984, electric chair): Stanley and an accomplice abducted Clifford Floyd, a 46 year old insurance agent, after they lured him into the accomplice's apartment. Floyd was dragged into a forest, beaten with a hammer, and tied to a tree. He was then shot and buried alive in a shallow grave. Floyd succumbed to a combination of blood loss and suffocation and a total of $234 was stolen from him in the attack.
3. Alpha Stephens (~1961-1984, electric chair): In 1973, Stephens shot dead 57 year old Louise Mercer while robbing a grocery store her brother owned. A year later, Stephens abducted Roy Asbell, a 49 year old minister, from his home with a gun he stole from Asbell's son. Asbell tried bribing his captor with hundreds of dollars in cash for his life, but Stephens simply snatched the money away, dragged Asbell to a barn, and shot him in the head. He had a significant rap sheet that included several armed robberies, prison breakouts, auto thefts, kidnappings, and burglaries, and was first arrested at the age of 16.
4. Roosevelt Green Jr. (1976-1985, electric chair): During a robbery of a convenience store, Green kidnapped the clerk, 18 year old Teresa Allen, stole $466 from the cash register, and drove away with his loot and hostage in her car. He then raped Allen, shot her to death, and dumped her body on a dirt road.
5. Van Solomon (1979-1985, electric chair): Solomon and his accomplice Brandon Jones gunned down 29 year old Roger Tackett while robbing a Tenneco store he managed. Ironically, Solomon himself was shot by an assailant robbing his grocery store some years before the murder.
6. John Young (1974-1985, electric chair): Young attacked 6 elderly men and women with bottles, lamps, fireplace pokers, and vases in their homes, across a single neighborhood. 3 of the victims, 85 year old Coleman Brice, his 83 year old wife Gladys, and 83 year old Katie Davis, were beaten to death in the assaults. Several variables such as jewelry and watches were taken as well.
7. Jerome Bowden (1976-1986, electric chair): Bowden and an accomplice stabbed 55 year old Kathryn Stryker to death and gravely wounded her bedridden mother, 76 year old Wessie Jenkins while burglarizing their home. Several items, such a wig, a pellet gun, some jewelry, and a television set was stolen in the intrusion. The television set was sold by Bowden to one of his acquaintances. Jenkins initially survived the attack, but died from complications relating to their injuries after Bowden was indicted for her daughter's murder.
8. Joseph Mulligan (1974-1987, electric chair): As part of a scheme to collect an insurance policy, Mulligan shot his sister's estranged husband, 30 year old Patrick Doe and Doe's girlfriend, 25 year old Marion Miller, while they were driving to a party. Doe was a captain in the United States Army at the time of his death.
  1. Richard Tucker Jr. (~1963-1987, electric chair): In 1963, Tucker stabbed his aunt, 61 year old Annie Armstrong, 14 times with scissors while burglarizing her home. He was released from incarceration in 1978. 6 months after being let out of prison, Tucker abducted 50 year old Edna Sandefur from a hospital parking lot while she was visiting her ill mother, and drove her to a remote warehouse. He robbed and raped Sandefur, and then beat her to death with an iron pipe. Tucker also had previous convictions of burglary and attempted rape.
10. William Tucker (1977-1987, electric chair): Tucker abducted 19 year old Kathleen Parry, a pregnant clerk, while he was robbing a convenience store she was working at. He forced Parry at knifepoint to withdraw money from the cash register, and dragged her into his car. When they drove to a chapel, Tucker stabbed her to death.
11. William Mitchell (1974-1987, electric chair): Mitchell accosted 50 year old Willard Williams while he was walking down a street and mugged him of $4. He then forced Williams to lay down and shot him execution style. In the following day, he held 34 year old Peggy Carr and her 14 year old son Christopher at gunpoint while they were opening their family owned store. Despite Peggy giving him $160, he made rape threats against her and forced the pair into a freezer. Both mother and son were shot several times and left for dead by Mitchell. Christopher died at the scene, while his mother survived her injuries.
12. Timothy McCorquodale (1974-1987, electric chair): McCorquodale and his entourage accused Donna Dixon, a 17 year old runaway, of stealing money from him and giving it to a black pimp that he thought she was having a relationship with. He bombarded Dixon with racist insults and sexual advances as he and his accomplices kidnapped her from a club. After she was taken to McCorquodale’s apartment, Dixon was bound, and repeatedly beaten and raped. They tortured her by cutting her breasts with razor blades, burned her body with cigarette butts and candle wax, and she was violated with a bottle. The abuse ended when McCorquodale broke her arms and legs, and strangled her to death with a clothesline. On death row, McCorquodale escaped with three other inmates, including Troy Gregg of the 1976 Furman vs Gregg infamy. After the group took refuge at a biker bar, McCorquodale beat Gregg to death in a fight with the help of a Outlaws Motorcycle gang member. Days after Gregg's murder, McCorquodale and the other surviving fugitives were recaptured hiding out at an Outlaws Biker's home.
13. James Messer Jr. (1979-1988, electric chair) To get back at his estranged wife for leaving him with their children, Messer kidnapped her niece, 8 year old Rhonda Tanner, while he was picking her up from school. He raped and severely beat Tanner in a forest and stabbed her to death.
14. Henry Willis III (1976-1989, electric chair): Willis and his accomplices abducted a policeman, 29 year old James Giddens, that was dispatched to stop their robbery of a food market. They took the captive officer near a lake, where he tried to escape by jumping into it. Willis and one of his partners shot Giddens dead while he was trying to swim to safety.
15. Warren McCleskey (1978-1991, electric chair): McCleskey robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint, and fired on the responding officers. One of the officers, 30 year old Frank Schlatt was killed in the shooting.
16. Thomas Stevens (1977-1993, electric chair): Stevens and Christopher Burger abducted a fellow soldier, 20 year old Roger Honeycutt, who was also working as a cab driver, when he picked them up from the enlisted men's club on Fort Stewart. Honeycutt was tied up with a cord, robbed of $20, and sodomized repeatedly by both of his captors. The pair then locked Honeycutt in the trunk of the cab, and drove it into a pond as they jumped out. Being unable to escape, Honeycutt drowned as his car sank into the pond's depths.
17. Christopher Burger (1977-1993, electric chair): As mentioned under Thomas Stevens' section, Burger assisted in the robbery, abduction, rape, and murder of Roger Honeycutt.
18. William Hance (1977-1994, electric chair): Hance, a former Marine that transferred himself to the Army, abducted at least 3 women, 32 year old Irene Thirkield, 24 year old Karen Hickman, and 21 year old Gail Jackson. Thrikield and Jackson were black prostitutes and Hickman was a white Marine servicewoman that was stationed in the same base as Hance. They were all raped and beaten to death with jack handles and tire irons. In a misguided attempt to throw off the police and attract media attention, Hance staged a convoluted hoax involving a race war between a gang of white vigilantes and a gang of black counter vigilantes. He tried to pretend that his victims were murdered from retaliatory killings between the two groups. Hance was also suspected in the murder of another woman in Indiana, but was never charged of it.
19. Nicholas Ingram (1983-1995, electric chair): Ingram broke into the home of 55 year old J.C. Sawyer and his wife Mary. He forced them to hand over $60 and their car keys at gunpoint, tied the couple together to a tree, and shot both of them. J.C. was killed, while Mary survived their ordeal. Ingram then stole their car and fled to California. While a fugitive hiding out in California, he committed another carjacking, and ran off to Nebraska, where he was detained for a DUI and deported back to Georgia to face trial. Due to being a British national, Ingram's execution sparked outrage in the United Kingdom.
20. Darrell Devier (1979-1995, electric chair): Devier lured 12 year old Mary Stoner into his car while she was walking home from school. He raped her in a forest, made an attempt to strangle her during their struggle, and crushed Stoner's head with a rock. Months before the murder, Devier was accused of raping a 13 year old girl, but the charges against him were dismissed from the lack of sufficient evidence.
21. Larry Lonchar (1986-1996, electric chair): During a dispute over gambling debts, Lonchar confronted his bookkeeper, 54 year old Wayne Smith, at his condo while pretending to be a FBI agent. In the altercation, he bound Wayne and his 24 year old son Steven with handcuffs, and shot and stabbed them to death. Wayne's girlfriend, 45 year old Margaret Sweat, called 911, and was also shot and stabbed to death while she was on the phone with the dispatcher. Another one of Wayne's sons was attacked in the incident, but he managed to survive his injuries.
22. Ellis Felker (1977-1996, electric chair): Evelyn Ludlam, a 19 year old cocktail waitress for the Holiday Inn, was lured into Flelker's clutches when he promised her work at his leather store. For religious reasons, Ludlam was disaffected with her job, and wanted a new line of work. Felker raped and strangled Ludlam to death and sexually mutilated her body. After he murdered Ludlem, Felker dumped her remains in a creek. He was registered sex offender with a sodomy conviction at the time of Ludlam's death.
23. David Cargill (1985-1998, electric chair): Cargill and his brother stormed a gas station, and forced a couple, 41 year old Danny and 29 year old Cheryl Williams, to lie on the floor. Cheryl was a clerk for the station, and Danny stopped by to help her close down after he put their sons to bed. The brothers shot the couple execution style, and stole a total of $482.79 from the register. They were also involved with several carjackings.
24. Terry Mincey (1982-2001, lethal injection): Mincey and his accomplices robbed a convenience store at gunpoint, and forced the clerk, 38 year old Paulette Riggs to empty the cash register into their bag. They shot her dead, and took 2 teenage siblings hostage that were present in the store. Coincidentally, a firefighter pulled up to the scene to refill his truck, and Mincey shot and wounded him. The siblings took the opportunity to escape and fled into a nearby field.
25. Jose High (1976-2001, lethal injection): High and his accomplices abducted 11 year old Bonnie Bulloch and his stepfather, 27 year old Henry Philips, from a gas station they were operating, after emptying the cash register. The robbers forced the pair into their car, reportedly taunted the captives about their intentions to kill them, and drove to a remote forest. They then shot Bulloch dead and wounded Philips.
26. Fred Gilreath Jr. (1979-2001, lethal injection): Gilreath's wife, 28 year old Linda, moved out of their home to escape their disintegrating marriage. When Linda returned with her father, 57 year old Gerrit Van Leeuwen, to pack up her belongings, Gilreath shot them both dead.
27. Byron Parker (1984-2001, lethal injection): Parker enticed 11 year old Christie Griffith into his car after she missed her taxi that was supposed to take her to her older brother's high school graduation. He bound Griffith to a tree, and raped and strangled her death, while his two year old son was waiting for him in their car.
28. Ronald Spivey (~1961-2002, lethal injection): While playing pool at a bar, Spivey got into a fight with 32 year old Charles McCook over money he perceived to have won, and shot him to death. A day later, he robbed a bank and took hostages. He fatally shot Bill Watson, a 40 year old off duty police officer that tried to stop him, and injured the manager, 21 year old Welton Allen. Allen tried fleeing to a nearby restaurant, and Spivey following him into it in pursuit. He fired on the establishment in an attempt to kill him, but missed and wounded an employee caught in the crossfire. Spivey then kidnapped a waitress and forced her to drive him to Alabama. She was rescued unharmed by local authorities when they pulled over and captured Spivey. A search of the stolen car found that Spivey stole a total of $360 in his robberies. His previous convictions include several counts of forgery, armed robbery, and auto theft.
29. Tracy Housel (1984-2002, lethal injection) Housel was a sexual predator and thief that victimized men and women alike between the ages of 18-45. He worked as a interstate truck driver, and picked up victims that he befriended from stops all across the country. They were driven to isolated locations, where Housel would bind, rob, and sodomize them. His killing methods were diverse and circumstantial, but Housel mostly used strangulations, beatings, and stabbings in the attacks. Housel was convicted in the deaths of Troy Smith (age unknown) and 44 year old Jean Drew, and is suspected in and/or confessed to 15 other murders. He was also responsible for several non fatal assaults and robberies. Like Nicholas Ingram, Housel's death sentence and execution sparked outrage in the United Kingdom due to him being a British national.
30. Wallace Fugate III (1991-2002, lethal injection): Fugate forced himself inside the home of his ex wife, 39 year old Pattie. He pistol whipped Pattie dozens of times and shot her dead in front of their 15 year old son. Unrelated to the case, but that son was beaten to death in the same house by his friends a year after Fugate's conviction.
31. William Putman (1980-2002, lethal injection): Purtman shot and killed 49 year old William Hodges on the side of a highway. Hours later, he snuck up on a married couple, 28 year old Kate Back and 22 year old David Hardin, sleeping at a rest stop in their car with their children (which included a 9 year old daughter, a 7 year old son, and an 11 month old daughter) and 14 year old niece. He shot David dead and tried to abduct Kate. When she resisted and screamed for her husband, Purtman shot her as well and fled the scene.
32. Larry Moon (1984-2003, lethal injection): According to prosecutors, Moon ambushed 34 year old Ricky Callahan while the later was walking to a pharmacy to buy headache medicine for his wife. Callahan was shot in the head during the attack and had $60 taken from his wallet. Moon was also suspected in the shooting deaths of Jimmy Hutcheson (age unknown) and Thomas DeJose (age unknown), several robberies, and the abduction and sexual assault of a female impersonator. The prosecution failed to convict him for the murder of DeJose on the grounds of self defense and the murder of Butcheson on the lack of sufficient evidence. His conviction for Callahan's murder is contested, as Moon and his supporters claim that a late hitman confessed to the killing.
33. Carl Isaacs (~1960s-2003, lethal injection): Isaacs, with the help of two of his brothers and a cellmate, escaped from the Maryland State prison, and fatally shot 19 year old Richard Miller when he tried to stop them from stealing a car. The group drove by a Georgia gas pump in the hopes of refilling their getaway car. However, the pump was empty, and decided to burglarize a nearby trailer belonging to the Alday family (which consisted of brothers, 62 year old Ned and 57 year old Aubrey, Ned's sons, 35 year old Jerry and 32 year old Chester, and Jerry's 26 year old wife Mary) while they were gone. When the family returned home, Isaacs and his accomplices held the entire family at gun point, gang-raped Mary several times, and shot them all dead. Isaacs had a very troubled history, and committed several burglaries and robberies as a teenager.
34. James Brown (~1968-2003, lethal injection): Brown went on a date with Brenda Watson, a 21 year old stripper. After they were drinking and partying together at a bar, Brown tied up Watson with nylon stockings, and raped and asphyxiated her by shoving panties down her throat. He had a long history involving violence towards women. One of his previous convictions involved an incident of him breaking into a woman’s home, and (non fatally) stabbing and sexually assaulting her. Brown also had a warrant at the time of Watson’s murder for aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and sexual assault charges when he lured another woman by posing as an artist in need of a model.
35. Robert Hicks (~1970s-2004, lethal injection): Hicks laid his eyes on 28 year old Joni Rivers while she was talking to her boyfriend using a grocery store payphone. He chased down Rivers when she tried to flee from him and nearly decapitated her in a frenzied stabbing attack. Rivers' shoes, shorts, and ring were taken and found in Hicks' car. Hicks was released from prison months earlier after serving a half of a 15 year sentence for sexually abusing a 16 year old girl.
36. Eddie Crawford (1983-2004, lethal injection): Crawford tried spending the night with one of his estranged wife's sisters after a drinking binge, but she ejected him from her home. Out of anger, he abducted Leslie English, her 2 year old daughter, from the girl's bedroom, and then raped and strangled her to death.
37. Timothy Carr (1992-2005, lethal injection): Carr and his girlfriend attended a party with 17 year old Keith Young. The couple decided that they wanted to rob the boy, and they lured him into a forest with the help of two other teenagers. Carr slit Young's throat, and then proceeded to beat him to death with a baseball bat. He and his accomplices stole a $125 paycheck and Young's car in the robbery.
38. Stephen Mobley (1991-2005, lethal injection): Mobley shot and killed 25 year old John Collins while robbing a Domino's Pizza restaurant he was managing. He had also held up 6 other restaurants and dry-cleaning shops at gunpoint in his month long crime spree.
39. Robert Conklin (~1981-2005, lethal injection): Conklin stabbed his boyfriend, 28 year old George Crooks, in the ear with a screwdriver in their apartment, and dismembered his body. In an attempt to get rid of the remains, he stuffed them in a garbage disposal in their kitchen and a nearby dumpster. At the time of Crooks' murder, Conklin was on parole from a 6 year sentence for armed robbery.
40. John Hightower (1987-2007, lethal injection): While under the influence of cocaine, Hightower shot his wife, 41 year old Dorothy, and his stepdaughters, 22 year old Sandra and 19 year old Evelyn Reaves, to death in their sleep.
41. William Lynd (1988-2008, lethal injection): Lynd got into an argument with his girlfriend, 26 year old Ginger Moore, over a planned vacation and shot her to death. While on the run in Ohio, he tried to hijack a car, and shot the driver, 42 year old Leslie Sharkey, in the process. Sharkey managed to crawl to safety, and notified the authorities of the attack. She died of her injuries a few days after the shooting.
42. Curtis Osborne (1990-2008, lethal injection): Osborne, a career drug dealer, shot his girlfriend's brother, 29 year old Arthur Jones, and Jones' girlfriend, 28 year old Linda Seaborne, dead in argument over money gained from a motorcycle sale. His death sentence was controversial, as Osborne claimed that his attorney denied him a plea bargain for a racist agenda.
43. Jack Alderman (1975-2008, lethal injection): In an attempt to collect a life insurance policy, Alderman beat his wife, 20 year old Barbara, to death with a wench.
44. Robert Newland (1986-2009, lethal injection): Newland went to the apartment of his girlfriend, 27 year old Carol Beatty, after a drinking binge, and tried to kiss her. When she rejected and slapped him, Newland stabbed and disemboweled her alive. Just before she succumbed to her injuries, Beatty used her own blood to identify Newland as her attacker to the first responders.
45. William Mize (1994-2009, lethal injection): Mize was a leader of a white supremacist gang called the National Vastilian Aryan Party, in which 34 year old Eddie Tucker had filed to join. When Tucker disobeyed his orders to burn down a "crack house" as part of an initiation ritual, Mize lured him into a forest and shot him dead.
46. Mark McClain (1994-2009, lethal injection): McClain robbed a Domino pizza parlor after ordering a pizza. He shot the manger, 28 year old Kevin Brown, dead and stole $130 from the register.
47. Melbert Ford Jr. (1986-2010, lethal injection): Ford had a very specific fantasy about robbing, abducting and then murdering his ex girlfriend, 30 year old Martha Matich, after forcing her beg for mercy. He decided to make his fantasies into a reality, and stormed the grocery store she worked at with the help of an accomplice he hired. Ford shot Matich and her niece, 11 year old Lisa Chapman, dead, and stole $579 from the register.
48. Brandon Rhode (1998-2010, lethal injection): Rhode and his accomplice Daniel Lucas broke into a house, and encountered the residents, 37 year old Steven Moss, and his two children, 15 year old Kristin and 11 year old Bryan. Bryan was home alone when the intruders arrived, and tried to fight them off with a baseball bat. Lucas and Rhodes quickly subdued the boy and shot him to death. Kristen and Steven were also shot dead when they returned home. Their bodies were discovered by Gerri, Steven's wife and the children's mother. The pair were career burglars, and previously targeted the Moss home weeks before the massacre.
49. Emmanuel Hammond (~1983-2011, lethal injection): Hammond, his girlfriend, and her cousin spotted 27 year old Julia Love broken down on the side of the road. They dragged her into their car after she declined their offer for a ride. Love was tied up, forced to withdraw $140 from an ATM, and raped. The attackers partially strangled Love and shot her to death in a remote forest. In exchange for having all charges dropped, Hammond's girlfriend agreed to testify against him and her cousin. He tried to hire a fellow inmate to permanently silence her testimony, but was foiled by prison officials. Hammond had numerous previous convictions, but my sources didn't disclose details.
50. Roy Blankenship (1978-2011, lethal injection): Blankenship climbed into a home of 78 year old Sara Bowen after breaking her window. He raped and beat Bowen, and penetrated her with a bottle. She succumbed to a heart attack from the stress of the assault.
51. Andrew DeYoung (1993-2011, lethal injection): Wanting to use their life insurance policies to start his dream business, DeYoung stabbed his parents, 42 year old Gary and 41 year old Kathryn, and his sister, 14 year old Sarah, to death, and unsuccessfully ordered his accomplice to kill his 16 year old brother Nathan. Nathan escaped through a window and went to a neighbor for help.
52. Troy Davis (1988-2011, lethal injection): Davis was sentenced to death for a crime spree involving several robberies, the non fatal shooting of a teenager, and the beating of a homeless man, Troy Young (age unknown). Larry MacPhail, a 27 year old police officer and security guard, was shot and killed when he intervened in an attempt to protect Young. Davis' execution was controversial, as he managed to amass a popular following that believed in his innocence during his time on death row. He previously plead guilty for a carrying concealed weapons charge, and Davis paid a $250 fine as part of a plea agreement to avoid prison time.
53. Andrew Cook (1995-2003, lethal injection): On a random whim, Cook walked up to a couple, 22 year old Grant Hendrickson and 19 year old Michele Cartagena, parked near a lake, and shot them both to death in their car.
54. Marcus Wellons (1989-2014, lethal injection): Wellons took an obsessive sexual interest in his neighbor, 15 year old India Roberts, and began to stalk and harass the girl in an attempt to groom her into a "relationship." At one point, he even pressured his girlfriend's 14 year old son to date her. His illicit pursuit of Roberts alarmed his girlfriend and she tried evicting him from their apartment. With his relationship in shambles, Wellons' behavior escalated beyond the breaking point. After he ransacked his now ex girlfriend's apartment and poured bleach on her clothes, Wellons ambushed and abducted Roberts while she was walking to school. He raped and strangled her to death with a telephone cord.
55. Robert Holsey (~1990s-2014, lethal injection): Holsey shot and killed Will Robinson, a 26 year old Sheriff's Deputy, during a robbery of a convenience store. At the time of the shooting, he was on parole for an armed robbery conviction.
56. Andrew Brannan (~1980s-2015, lethal injection): In 1998, Branner was pulled over for speeding by Kyle Dinkheller, a 22 year old deputy. While Dinkheller was trying to file a citation, Branner became belligerent, pulled an M1 carbine out of his truck, and opened fire. Dinkheller was killed in the shootout, but he managed to wound Branner in his return fire. Branner was a Vietnam combat veteran, and he tried to use PTSD as a defense for the fatal shooting of Dinkheller and previous domestic abuse charges from his ex wife.
57. Warren Hill Jr. (~1985-2015, lethal injection): Hill was given a life sentence when he shot and killed his girlfriend, 18 year old Myra Wright. His sentence escalated to death a few years later when he fatally beat his cellmate, 34 year old Joseph Handspike, with a nailed board. At the time of his own murder, Handspike was also serving a life sentence for shooting and killing a restaurant manager during a robbery.
58. Kelly Gissendaner (1997-2015, lethal injection): Out of a desire to leave their marriage and to collect a life insurance policy, Gissendan assisted her boyfriend in abducting her husband, 30 year old Douglas, from their home. Her boyfriend stabbed Douglas to death, and she set their car on fire to destroy his body. The couple were also charged with attempting to intimidate witnesses during the murder trial.
59.Marcus Johnson (1994-2015, lethal injection): After Johnson picked up 35 year old Angela Sizemore from a bar, he sexually assaulted her with a knife. Sizemore was stabbed 41 times in the attack, and her throat was cut. Her body was found in her car by a man walking his dog hours after the murder.
60. Brian Terrell (~1992-2015, lethal injection): Terrell forged up to $8,000 in checks using 70 year old John Watson's name. Watson, who was seeking a relationship with Terrell's mother, tried to make a deal that he wouldn't pursue any charges if the money was returned to him. According to prosecutors, Terrell broke into Watson's home, and beat and fatally shot him to avoid repaying the money. His execution caused controversy, as the defense attorneys claimed that the footprints at the scene were smaller then his feet, and that he was condemned only by what they perceived to be misused testimony from his cousin (that testified against him in exchange for a plea deal) and a neighbor (who allegedly claimed that they saw "someone else walk out of the home"). Those arguments were shut down by the courts, but embraced by anti death penalty activist groups and outlets. Regardless of his guilt or lack thereof, strong evidence points to him perpetrating similar armed robberies of other homes, and was on parole at the time of Watson's murder.
61. Brandon Jones (1979-2016, lethal injection): Jones was an accomplice to the above mentioned Van Solomon, and participated in the robbery that killed Roger Tackett.
62. Travis Hittson (1993-2016, lethal injection): Hittson, who was serving on the U.S.S. Forrestal, was convinced by a crewmate to kill Conway Utterbeck, a 20 year old fellow sailor, for the thrill of killing. When they were off duty, Hittson and his accomplice walked into the home of Herbeck's parents, and found Herbeck sleeping on the couch. Before they shot him to death, the pair bludgeoned Herbeck with a baseball bat. To prevent the body's identification, they chopped off his hands, feet, and head with a hacksaw, and dumped his dismembered remains in two separate burial sites across a 300 mile radius.
63. Joshua Bishop (1994-2016, lethal injection): Bishop and another man accosted 44 year old Leverett Morrison at a bar, and demand to have the keys to his jeep. When Morrison refused, the pair beat him to death. Bishop also orchestrated the beating death of 36 year old Ricky Wills for having intercourse with his prostitute mother. The prosecution declined to charge Bishop for Willis' murder, as they wanted to use it as evidence to help secure his death sentence for Morrison's slaying.
64. Kenneth Fults (1996-2016, lethal injection): Fults forced his way inside the home of 19 year old Cathy Bonds. He bound, gagged, and blindfolded Bonds with duct tape, and made an attempt to smother her with a pillow. When that failed, Fults shot Bonds in the head, stole her keys, and drove away with her car.
65. Daniel Lucas (1998-2016, lethal injection): Lucas was the accomplice to the above mentioned Brandon Rhode, and he assisted him in murdering Steven Moss and his children in their home.
66. John Conner (1982-2016, lethal injection): In a drunken rage, Connor beat his friend, 29 year old James White, to death with a whisky bottle and a stick while visiting him in his home. The two had gotten in fight when White refused to take Connor to a liquor store.
67. Gregory Lawler (1997-2016, lethal injection): Lawler and his girlfriend were walking home intoxicated after drinking heavily at a bar, and got into a fight. A witness called the police, and officers, 28 year old John Sowa and 38 year old Patricia Cocciolone, were sent to the scene. They carried Lawler's girlfriend to their car, and drove her to the couple's apartment. Lawler was allowed to walk home unescorted. When he arrived, Lawler grabbed an AR-15, and fired on the officers. Sowa was killed, while Cocciolone survived with crippling injuries and called for backup. The other officers besieged Lawler in his apartment, and he surrendered after a 44 minute standoff.
68. Steven Spears (2001-2016, lethal injection): Spears suspected that his girlfriend, 34 year old Sherri Holland, was cheating on him. He reacted to his suspicions by wrapping Holland's head with duct tape and suffocating her with a plastic bag in her home.
69. William Sallie (1989-2016, lethal injection): Sallie's ex wife, 19 year old Robin Moore, divorced him for his physical abuse and moved back to her family (consisting of her parents, 49 year old John and Linda (age unknown), and her siblings, 17 year old April and 10 year old Justin). He was able to acquire visitation rights to their 2 year old son from the courts, and used that pretext to attack the family. Sallie charged into the Moore family home, shot and killed John, wounded Linda and bound her to Justin with handcuffs, and kidnapped Robin and April. The sisters were both kept captive and sexually assaulted together in a trailer, but they were spared and released after a few hours.
70. J. Ledford Jr. (1992-2017, lethal injection): Ledford was welcomed inside a home by the wife of his neighbor, 73 year old Harry Johnston Jr.. He tied up the couple at knifepoint, stole an undisclosed amount of money and guns, kidnapped Johnston, and drove away with him in his truck. Johnston's body was later found near an abandoned building. He was half decapitated, had a knife embedded in his back, and covered with several minor stab wounds.
71. Carlton Gary (~1964-2018, lethal injection): Gary raped and murdered at least 8 mostly elderly women between 40-89 years old. Almost all of his victims were killed in their homes, but his youngest, 40 year old Marion Fisher of New York, was abducted while walking out of a bar. They were all strangled to death with nylon stockings, which is why Gary was given the “Stocking Slayer" epithet by the media. Despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, including positive DNA tests, testimonies from surviving victims, fingerprints found on crime scenes, and semen samples, Gary still has a vocal following trying to proclaim his innocence. He had an extensive criminal history, which started with several arson, assault, and robbery charges as a teenager.
72. Robert Butts Jr. (1996-2018, lethal injection): Butts and his accomplice Marion Wilson carjacked Donovan Parks, a 24 year old off duty correctional officer, after he agreed to give them a ride home from Walmart. They forced Parks to exit the car and the shot him in the head execution style. Both Butts and Wilson were part of a Latin Kings set, and are believed to have killed Parks to gain more prestige from their gang. Butt's previous convictions include charges of shoplifting and burglary.
73. Scotty Morrow (1999-2019, lethal injection): Angry that his ex girlfriend, 26 year old Barbara Young, broke up with him for his abusive behavior, Morrow shot her, and her friend, 21 year old Tonya Wood, dead in their home. A third woman, 18 year old Latoyna Horn, was injured in the shooting. Young's two children, a 5 year old son and an 8 month old daughter, witnessed the killings, but were unharmed.
74. Marion Wilson Jr. (1999-2019, lethal injection): Wilson assisted Robert Butts, a fellow Latin King gangster, in the carjacking and shooting murder of officer Donovan Parks. He had a lengthy and very violent criminal history, which included the non fatal shootings of a Mexican migrant worker and a drug dealer during robberies, unprovoked assaults on a classmate and a youth worker, and an arson attack on an apartment complex. His friends noted that Wilson had a penchant for animal cruelty, and they reported seeing him shooting dogs on random whims.
75. Ray Cromartie (1994-2019, lethal injection): While robbing a grocery store, Cromartie and his accomplice shot two clerks, 50 year old Richard Slysz and Daniel Wilson (age unknown). Slysz died at the scene and Wilson survived with crippling injuries.
76. Donnie Lance (~1990s-2020, lethal injection): Lance broke down the door of his ex wife's, 39 year old Sandra, and fatally shot her boyfriend, 33 year old Dwight Wood Jr.. He then used the butt of his gun to club Sandra to death. According to court documents, Lance subjected Sandra to extreme abuse during their marriage, and reportedly kidnapped and tortured her with beatings, strangulations, and electrocutions on numerous occasions.
77. Willie Pye (~1985-2024, lethal injection): Pye's ex girlfriend, 21 year old Alicia Yarbrough, had a child with another man that he believed was his. Despite his suspicions, Yarbrough and their boyfriend pushed Pye out of the child’s life. In retaliation, Pye and two accomplice’s broke into Yarbrough’s ex boyfriend’s home to rob it, but found her alone with her infant. They abducted and robbed Yarbrough of her jewelry at gunpoint, raped her for several hours in a motel room, and shot her a total of 3 times in the head. Due to reports of him allegedly being cognitively disabled, Pye’s execution sparked some controversy. He was previously convicted of burglary.

2024.04.25 21:59 Elegant-Garden-8988 Baby Reindeer made me process my own trauma

Just wanna share how this series made me process what I went through.
At aged 18 I had my first boyfriend it was new and immature. My first boyfriend was beyond rude when we fought, he would say mean things like how I was dumb and how it would take a lot of him not to spit in my face because of how dumb I was- I just wanted him to open up to me about why he was not seeing me as a person or treating me like one, weirdly enough I always relied on him to comfort me.
I lost my virginity to him and I always felt like I owed it to him that I needed to be a good girlfriend no matter how mean he was to me just because I lost my virginity to him, and as naive as I was I thought he was gonna marry me because of it, long story short he didn’t. He left me for another girl. I was weirdly obsessed with the new girl and stalked her for months just to see what she had that I didn’t and why he left me for her, this brought a lot of shame into who I was and it went like this for a couple years. The shame and pain I went through took a toll on my self-esteem, it felt like people’s eyes were all on me judging me, seeing through all my flaws on why I wasn’t worth it. I cope with what I thought was taking control of who I was and that was self-destruction through sex.
I knew episode 4 was gonna be a hard but necessary watch because of how much it made me feel seen, it made me sob like an infant because of the depiction of how shame can result into self destruction just to gain that sense of control. I started sleeping with people just to gain a sense of control just because a boy who I lost my virginity to treated me no less than a pathetic girl who he was just bored of using, I started sleeping around so I can feel that control, but all it bought me was more shame. I know my trauma is nothing compared to Donny but i just wanna share that this series made me seen and makes me wanna heal my sense of control in a healthy way.

2024.04.23 04:09 Local_Compote4263 Was Donny married?

I dont understand when he said ' i found myself married to my ex girlfriend's mother' in one of the episode.
Did he meant that he literally married her or it's a way for saying 'I'm living with her like i was married to her'. Also, why did she let him stay at her house for free despite him broken up with her daughter prior to one of her sons passed away?

2024.04.20 22:05 Torisaursky Found this template and thought it would be fun to share my thoughts :P

Found this template and thought it would be fun to share my thoughts :P
Worst Episode: “The Weird World of Wyrm”. I hate this episode with a passion and idk what it is that makes me hate it so much lol
Best Ship: 1987 Shredder and Krang, they were intentionally played like an old married couple and James Avery said they got divorced after the series ended, so it’s practically canon lol /hj
Least Favorite Iteration: Choujin Densetsu Hen, the two-episode anime. It’s bad. The more mainstream answer for me would be Next Mutation, but I still adore that absolutely mess show of a series lol
Best Duo: Bebop & Rocksteady, IDW is my favorite adaptation of them with the Bayverse versions as a close second
Favorite Episode: This was a hard choice because there are so many phenomenal episodes across the nearly 550 that exist, but I decided on “Hidden City’s Most Wanted” from Rise of the TMNT, it’s a super wholesome and funny episode
Worst Fanon Ship: Quick explanation, a lot of Rise fans ship Rise Leo or Rise Donnie with Yuichi Usagi from the Netflix series “Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles”. I personally enjoy both of those ships, but some people ship them at the same time such that Usagi would be with Leo and Donnie at the same time, which to me is borderline T-cest (which is a huge issue in some parts of the fandom already, including some people who worked on Rise)
Opposite of Me: 2012 Shredder. I’m a very forgiving person that doesn’t hold a grudge, which is the antithesis of his entire character lol
Least Favorite Character: Lord Dregg, he already annoyed me in 2012 but I hated him in 1987. He replaced the icons that are Shredder and Krang and generally wasn’t a compelling antagonist
Most Relatable: Donatello in general, but mostly Batman Vs TMNT Donnie and Rise Donnie
Best Fanon Ship: Jonatello in 2012, the dumbass x genius trope is really fun and “Race with the Demon” is one of my favorite episodes because of how fun their dynamic is
Favorite Mutant: Hob, easily. He’s my favorite character in the IDW continuity is and is genuinely one of the best characters in the franchise
Favorite Iteration: The 4 animated series are all really close, but I gotta go with 1987. It’s absolutely delightful, hilarious, and goofy in the best possible way. Saturday Morning Adventures has been a fantastic continuation of the series as well
Favorite Character: 1987 Shredder, I love this man so much
Favorite Ninja Turtle: In a general sense Donatello is my favorite, but my one specific favorite turtle is 2003 Mikey
Favorite Human: 1987 Shredder, but that’s because he’s my favorite character overall, so I’ll give it to Harold Lillja. Cranky old man that befriends Donatello, what more do you need?
Worst Design: There’s a lot of rough designs in Back to the Sewer, but Raph got it the worst. First of all, he looks the worst with the irises, and second the Green Mantle design is atrocious (as is the episode in general)
Best Design: This one was also difficult because of how many phenomenal designs there are throughout the franchise, but I ended up picking the Rise boys’ designs. They’re so distinct and fun and play with shapes in a way that we don’t see with other iterations as often
Least Favorite Human: White-washed Shredder. What else is there to say?
Least Favorite Ninja Turtle: Next Mutation Leo, he’s kind of insufferable. Leonardo also generally tends to be my least favorite of the turtles, even when his characterization is fantastic
Who I’d Want to Befriend: Angel Bridge, she reminds me of my sister who is my favorite person in the world
Favorite Headcanon: Every Donatello being autistic, I specifically picked 1987 Donnie because he sort of serves as a jumping off point for other iterations. Rise Donnie is canonically autistic, which makes me very happy
Worst Ship: Leorai. Karai is literally their sister. Even if they aren’t blood related, they both see Splinter as their father and he sees them as his children. Mikey literally calls Karai “our sister” in the show.
Least Favorite Mutant: 2012 Pigeon Pete. Compared to the gem that is IDW Pigeon Pete, this man is insufferable. Plus his design is weird
Worst Duo: I hate what they did with both April and Casey in the Michael Bay films, so they made the most sense here
Favorite Enemy: 2003 Bishop, this man is such a cool antagonist and I wish he was adapted well in more iterations

Annette “Annie” Childers-Talmage… missing 7 years without a trace.
Missing mom
Hi… I know this is a long shot but I am looking for my missing mom. She has been missing from us for almost 7 years this April. She has been reported to police as missing but nothing has been done.
A little backstory. My mom went missing with her fourth husband, who was evading taxes, which she knew nothing about when she married him. my mom would be considered as somebody a little naïve and definitely unaware of controlling issues as they arise in this relationship as well as in the past she has five kids that really miss her and even more grandkids who are lost without her and feel sad, not knowing what’s happened to her as there has been no contact with any family or friends as she has almost vanished last we knew they were in an RV and we were traveling from park to park and they were disguising themselves with names such as Don and Donnie West her original name and her husbands is Annette and Ronald Talmage. I know that she probably is scared and afraid to come forward, but if we could help her escape this abusive situation or at least hear that she’s fine and maybe doesn’t want to be found I would feel so much better. I am asking for help if anyone has seen someone that matches the pictures below that act suspicious or a little off to please contact me.
She left in April 2017 in an RV and went to Texas as the last known location specifically dripping Springs Texas. We were alerted as her husband tried to sell guns and somebody felt this was a fishy thing to ask of and so she reported it to police thankfully, but before police could even reach him they had already left the site in their camper. Last we knew they also were driving a jeep Cherokee silver, pretty decked out from what we know of her husband .
My mom is about 5’7” , 225 pounds and should be the age of 68 in May. She had a blonde hair, but it could be white now about shoulder length usually wears it in a braid.
Again, if you have any information, please contact me.

2024.04.10 00:31 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 43 inmates executed by the state of North Carolina and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk)

After some requests, I've decided to release my list for North Carolina's post 70s execution roster that I made for my personal death project. As of 2006, 43 inmates have been put to death by the state. As a warning, many of their crimes are extremely heinous (a few involve violence against minors), and that is discussed in my descriptions. Please read at your personal discretion.
Something that should be clarified about the time frames here is that they aren't the range that the offenders spend on death row. They are intended to be an approximate time frame of their first known offenses to their executions.
The states that I've covered so far in this series are California, Illinois, the 14 states with less then 10 executions (New Mexico, Connecticut, Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, Montana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Nebraska, Washington, Maryland, South Dakota, and Utah), Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Delaware, Tennessee, and Nevada. I'm planning on doing Mississippi tomorrow, but what other states (beyond Texas, which I haven't completed yet) would you like me to cover next?
There a number of states that never carried out an execution in the post Furman era, such as Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, West Virginia, Kansas, and Iowa. Some of them historically had capital punishment, such as New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island, in that time frame and still theoretically do like Kansas and New Hampshire (it abolished the death penalty in 2019, but its sole death row inmate had his sentence grandfathered in and remains eligible for execution). Although they cannot be covered in this series, perhaps I'll discuss their condemned cases in the future after I fully complete Texas' list in my project.
The currently 43 executed offenders:
1.James Hutchins (~1954-1984, lethal injection): In 1954, Hutchins shot dead Bruce Weibel, a 32 year old truck driver that picked him up while he was hitchhiking. He evaded prosecution on the grounds of self defense. Hutchins was also briefly questioned in the death of a woman now identified as 18 year old Dorothy Howard, but it is currently believed that serial killer Harvey Glatman was likely responsible for her murder. 25 years later, Hutchins got into a violent argument with his then 18 year old daughter over offering alcohol at her graduation party. Police were called when he assaulted her and other family members that tried to intervene. Hutchins opened fire on the responding officers. 3 of them, 58 year old Owen Messersmith, 42 year old Roy Huskey, and 37 year old Pete Peterson, were killed in the shooting. He also had an assault with a deadly weapon conviction for attempting to kill his ex wife's husband.
2.Velma Barfield (~1969-1984, lethal injection): Barfield poisoned at least 6 people, which included her mother, 64 year old Lillian Bullard, her second husband, 54 year old Jennings Barfield, her boyfriend, 56 year old Rowland Taylor, and 3 elderly individuals, 76 year old Record Lee, and married couple, 95 year old Montgomery and 85 year old Dollie Edwards, under her care. After her victims' murders, Barfield would forge checks in their names. Barfield is also suspected with being involved in a fire that killed her first husband, 37 year old William Burke.
3.John Rook (1980-1986, lethal injection): Rook kidnapped a nurse, 25 year old Ann Roche, from the parking lot of a hospital. He raped Roche, tormented her for several hours with beatings with a tire iron and cuttings with a fishing knife, and rammed her to death with his car.
4.Michael Van McDougall (~1973-1991, lethal injection): Van McDougall lured his neighbors, 27 year old Diane Parker and her roommate, 26 year old Vicki Dunno, into his home by claiming that his wife injured herself. He then attacked them both with a butcher knife. Parker was killed in the attack, and she received over 22 stab wounds. Dunno was stabbed 9 times, but managed to survive the ordeal. 2024.04.07 01:26 QUEENchar4eva My mom named a dog something extremely similar to my sons name

I am 22 weeks pregnant and am a heavy planner so my partner and I have had names picked out since i was 8 weeks. Back in January (before i knew the gender of my child) I had dinner with my parents and let them know what names we had picked out. For the sake of the privacy i will be changing names but the core of the story is the same. For a boy we picked out Donovan. I told my parents about this and our plan to call him Donny. my dad was really excited about it and kept talking about the name because someone in one of his favorite bands share the name (completely a coincidence). Because my dad was so excited about the name and continues to talk about it, I know that my mom knows that’s our name. Well we found out that we are having a son and will be naming him Donovan but have not told my parents yet as we are getting married the middle of this month and have planned for the gender to be announced at the wedding. Today, my mom texts the family group chat and announces that a dog that has recently stumbled on their property is officially thiers and she has named it Danny. This is incredibly similar to my sons name that she knows about which again is Donny. This also comes after she has done multiple other things to make my pregnancy and wedding about her. (posted about it on facebook after i explicitly asked her not to, said i was being selfish for letting my MIL plan a baby shower after my MILs only daughter passed away and she is very into girly things like that and my mom is helping planning the wedding, tried to pick out several white outfits to wear to my wedding, called my son “her baby”, etc i could go on) would i be the asshole if i told her that she will not be seeing my son until the dogs name is changed? my only hold up is yes she doesn’t know i’m having a son yet, but i know she knows the name we have picked out. my sister who still lives at home with them and the dog has informed me that the dog doesn’t even answer to the name my mom gave it. furthermore my cousin recently had a baby and gave him a very dog sounding name (think like Buster or Buddy) and my mom knows how much i don’t like the name because it’s a dog name. maybe not letting her see my baby is a little harsh but it is the only way i know she would listen to me.

2024.04.06 01:22 Hachiko75 Can someone clear this up for me?

It's something I always wondered after reading it and I don't remember the episode but the eika says Carly slept with Jax in 2017 when she was married to donny. I know they were remarried in 2015 and of course it ended when he slept either Nina but Carly cheated on him years prior with her own ex? Did sonny ever find out? Is that bit of ongoing even true on the wiki? I know anyone can edit it but it was made by dedicated fans...
I just want to know this bit of info because joss is only mad at him because he cheated with Nina and now her entire personality is "I hate sonny because he's not loyal."

AITAH for the way I responded to my daughter asking if I had a crush?

Okay so I am a single mom with a 14 year old daughter. We were at the mall last night and I ran into a friend I knew when I was younger (and may or may not have had a brief thing with) and he and I talked for a few minutes and walked away.
My daughter was smiling and asked if I had a crush on him and I said “what do you mean?” and she giggled and said “I saw you looking at his butt.” I guess I got embarrassed and became defensive and I told her not to speak to me like that and it isn’t appropriate for her to be saying things like that. I could see her expression kinda drop and she just looked down and went “sorry…”
AITAH for reacting this way? I kinda feel bad about it but I don’t know if it was wrong of me to respond that way.

YTA from now on your kid will think twice about being friendly and open with you

harshmojo
Yup, that's the worst part. Good luck on the kid opening up again.

DebThornberry
Don't expect to hear about her crushes and important questions after that. It's inappropriate

Life_Step8838
why couldnt you just giggle about it with her, she is just 14 and she asked such an innocent question. go say sorry that you were just taken aback, make a joke out of it and ask her about any potential crush of hers. dont waste an opportunity for a good mother daughter bonding chat

MaladjustedHamster
Love this comment. I was a teenager during the NKOTB craze and my two sisters and I would obsess over the boys, of course. One day my strict mother came in while we were looking at pictures and saying which ones were our favorites. We got a little scared because we knew she was going to be angry that we were talking about boys. She asked what we were doing and we told her the truth because we were that scared. She looked at the pics, pointed at Joey and said, “he’s the cutest, he has beautiful eyes”. My sisters and I were instantly shocked and relieved. We all giggled and she sat there and let us go on. I loved my mother so much in that moment and never forgot. OP missed a chance. PS I still love Jordan

Update - Almost 1 day later

I made a post earlier today about something that happened with my 14 year old daughter yesterday that has been on my mind.
I saw the comments which confirmed what I was thinkin that I was TAH so I got home and my daughter was home and I went up to her and asked if I could have a few minutes of her time, and I told her I was sorry I was so aggressive last night and I got embarrassed and didn’t respond well and hoped she could forgive me. She told me she forgave me and accepted my hug.
Then I told her “but for what it’s worth…I may or may not for a tenth of a second have accidentally glanced in the general direction his butt was in.” and then suddenly her face changed expression and she said “I KNEW IT!!” and excitedly started asking me if we had dated in the past and if I would try to form another connection with him soon.
Honestly, I was SO worried I had messed up to the point where I’d never get that back but I was given a second chance by whatever higher power there is and I’m so so happy. Love my daughter so much and I’m glad she knows she can talk to me about that :)

Don’t worry, I’m sure she will be comfortable sharing with you, it’s very rare that a parent admits their mistake and very reassuring and comforting to a child.
OOP: Thank you :) I try my best to make sure my daughter gets the mother she deserves. My mother never admitted when she made a mistake and never apologized so I try my best to admit when I’m wrong and apologize when I am.

BeardManMichael
You are doing a stellar job. Parents make mistakes; how they recover from those mistakes matters most of all.
OOP: We have our history and I do think about what if sometimes, but it’s not that simple. I will say, though, I’m no longer married and he’s not with anyone right now so that makes things a little more straight forward but just…I don’t know.
Alright so here’s the timeline

Creative-Sun6739
Take a chance! Invite him out for coffee or something. At the very least it's a chance to chat with an old friend. At the most, you'll get to see that butt on the regular.
OOP: Sent him a Facebook message this morning. Nervous!!!

I am not the OOP. Please do not harass the OOP.

2024.04.01 18:40 Junepero Repost of 105 made a edit on it but everything collapsed after

Good evening tributes and welcome back to stories of panem. I hope you all are excited we have a quinquenal quell coming up. I would like to thank as usual Christan Blanco, original writer of tales of the hunger games and Lauren from Panem reborn to which these tales are inspired by. Now if you're ready let's go.
Also use google translate if you have any confusion ;) My French is still workable. District 14 is a mix between Mexico, the Canadian Republic and france.
105 quinquenal quell (141)
District 1 Gravelio P and Mackena P
District 2 Marble TD and dyamnda
District 3 Komeda P and Citronia
District 4 Fresco P and Sienna P
District 5 Solar Moon
District 6 Nevada and Dakota
District 7 unknown boy unknown gir;
District 8 unknown boy and ella
District 9 Cornel and Pancake
District 10 Jason and Natelia P
District 11 Henry and lily
District 12 Arnold and MariebelleP
District 14 Charles and Oria P
With the treaty of treason every 5 years a quinquenal quell would take place. The day before the fourth of July President Mcaine televised a live announcement throughout panem reading the 6th quinquenal quell announcement to panem. “ As a reminder to the district citizens that twists and turns have always played in the capital's favor, the capital assigned tributes to teams of 2.” As curious sounds of surprise surrounded the snow square Camila and Asomedus eagerly chatted and answered with many questions they had.
With the events surrounding Naomi Armstrong and her apparent treasonous activities the reapings in District 14 were conducted with heightened security. Mayor Desadairan greeted a nauseated Aj Carnival and his entourage were given a tour of the Canadian Land. However at the end of the tour an angry mob of French civilians attacked the motor boat Aj was taken on for the tour leading to these hooligans to be pepper sprayed and stunned by peacekeepers. As the rowdy citizens were yanked up Mayor Desadairam gave the yearly mayoral speech in his french accent before welcoming Aj to the stage. Aj spoke about the glories of being a victor and the glory it brought his district pride and glory.
He then walked to the female reaping bowl placing his hand to the bottom of the bowl causing the potential tributes to titter as paper fell. Aj groaned before snapping his fingers as peacekeepers shot bullets into the air causing the citizens to go quiet.
“Oria Lefou.”
A loud scream soon followed as a tall girl with long blonde hair fainted as a patient young lady of 17 walked up to the stage timidly shaking Aj’s hand. Oria’s ebony hair wilting in the hot weather her green eyes even made Aj yelp. Camelia adored Oria’s lycra gown but frowned seeing her grassy pants causing Asomedus to remark “Picky are we?”. Causing the capitol citizens to chuckle good naturedly.
AJ then walked over to the male reaping bowl grinning looking at the surprisingly frightened older boys before picking out the name of 16 year old Franquie Lefoue.
Oria and even the capital citizens shouted in surprise as Oria’s older brother was soon forced up onto the stage. However before Franquie boarded the stage a young lad stepped forward shouting “Je fais du bénévolat en hommage” ( I volunteer as tribute).
Aj cocked his head in confusion turning his head to the front seeing Charles Sao a boy of 17 years of age with light brown hair with a splatter of brown freckles with hazel eyes. Peacekeepers grinned as they threw Franquie back as they took Charles up. After shaking Aj’s hand he wished the district luck as he brought Charles and Oria to the hovercrafts as Aj was brought to district 12.
“Oh mon Dieu, peut-être que le district gagnera, les alliés semblent décents.”
“Oh sorry.”
Charles and Oria turned, seeing their mentor Quinlan Trinket looking at the pair smiling. Quinian was stationed in Normandy during the war serving as a double agent for the capital. As Oria looked forward to their mentor she went into a physiatric trance. Muttering in her french accent “familiar” before vomiting out of a nearby window.
Quinian looked at Charles before replying
“Frele.”
Charles replied “tu l’es aussi”,
Quinian smirked replying “you got guts kid I like that.”
Charles smirked before joining Quinlan at the dining table as a sickly Oria soon joined. Quinian soon pulled up a holograph displaying the tributes that had been chosen. As the pair were flying across north atlantic ocean Quinlan lectured and gave the pair the do's and don'ts Oria soon butted in saying pourquoi c'est inutile, les mexicains ont été anéantis et Panem détruit sont des terres pour lesquelles.
Quinian replied with his own choppy english to “Not say stuff you don't know.” Back in the capital Camelia explained to the younger generations in the capital audience of the meaningness of the great war.
Oria frowned before muttering curses underneath her breath causing Quinian to remark “j'ai entendu cela” much to the capital citizens' amusement. Oria groaned in annoyance as Quinian smirked as before displaying the hologram.
“Oria look”.
Oria did as her mentor asked, looking at her chosen partner. A tall girl with blonde hair with a buff physique named Natelia(10). Oria grinned seeing her potential ally as Quinian displayed Charles’s ally. A puny lad of 12 years named Arnold. Charles grimced before retreating to his own room. Oria had a brief chat with Quinian in french before retreating to her own room resting for the night.
The next day the pair of 14 arrived at Jansen airport. Quinian prepped Ora and Charles, becoming frightened timidly walked out of the hovercraft as Quinian walked out. The rather short amount of capital citizens greeted the pair. Many star struck capital teens immediately swarmed Oria and Charles giving their favorite tributes gifts such as roses and chocolates. Oria whispered “Ils sont comme des aigles mangeant du pain”
This made Charles and even the capital citizens laugh making a good impression with the capital citizens. Charles was soon swarmed by some curious capital teenagers asking him about his employment. He soon shrugged saying he was a bull wrangler causing the capital citizens to shrug before talking to him further until Quinian had to usher him away after an enthralled capital woman thrusted her baby at him.
As Quinian brought the pair to their 14th floor of the accommodation tower there stylist. Ananbellea harcourt came in kissing the pair on each as it was customary in the france section of District 14. Anabellea was highly praised throughout the capital for her role as head commander during the war still learning french, european, spanish in under the 14 years of war. Ariabell displayed two of her designs a lush forest gown with patches of berries symbolizing the berry fields of the sector B and a silver suit with ridged paper creases. Quinian made the final declaration that Ariabell tossed her hands up in glee widely barking orders at her co stylists. As the outfits were later finished the pair from 14 marveled in surprise Quinian displayed the reapings telling them to pay attention as the reapings for district 6 turned to 5 then 4.
Just as Mayor Siesta brought the 6 males and 15 5 females up to the stage she eagerly revealed District 4s reaping games would be a swimming race. The District 4 citizens eagerly cheered the ladies up first. After a brief debrief on the rules 18 year old Sienna Shorevile a young woman with glossy blonde hair made her presented herself to be quite the contender quickly beating her other opponent Gladus summerville by a narrow margin. Once Sienna was crowned tribute for district Gladus jumped on her throwing Sienna into the sand causing a “Beachfront brawl” as Asomedus put it. However as peacekeepers attempted to step in Sienna rolled her eyes saying “back down boys i got this.” Before Sienna punched Gladus so hard in the jaw causing Gladius to fall unconscious. Mayor siesta looked on in surprise before bringing Sienna back up to the stage.
Camelia then remarked about the juicy tidbits that Gladus’s parents had been arrested for apparently harboring pearls and fish from the Mcain harbor. And as an act to get her parents out of jail she tried her luck in the games to win and allow her parents to get a pardon but this did not happen.
As for the boys an all out war began as it was later reported by Mayor Siesta these boys were a part of the district 4 swim team. However as this race appeared to be neck and neck the wild card of this group Fresco Fletcher an 18 yearold male zoomed past the others were surprised as the final lap bell sounded he grabbed on to the buzzer. As the citizens cheered again once more as he got out of the water Camelia remarked “ok Finnick '' causing her co host to snort in laughter.
After Fresco dried off he and Sienna were soon presented as the tributes for District 4 gardening with more applause. After Mayor siesta drooped the tributes off they were permitted to meet with their families. Sienna was visited by her uncle and little brother (Donny). They congratulated her on winning the volunter games however Donny started to cry. As this scene was being revealed in snow square many capital lights were dabbing at there eyes with Camelia remarking in a sympathetic tone “Clearly he’s gonna miss her.”
Sienna gave Donny a big hug before telling him about the hidden money just in case she was unable to return. Donny smiled as he nodded in determination before wishing Sienna luck.
As for Fresco he was visited by his elderly grandparents and 3 older siblings They all wished him luck also stating that “The Fletchers are long overdue for a victory.” Back in the capital Asmodeus remarked to the capital audiences about Fresco’s Great Great grandfather Jonah that had won the 42nd games 99 years prior, tragically Jonah committed no air after the 3 year anniversary of his wife Fresca’s death Fresco’s aunt.
Fresco gave a few more words before going to the train quietly smiling at Sienna as the pair were soon spooked by their mentor. A young adult of 35 years of age named Larry Sherlock with perfectly quaffed red hair replied “Boo!”
Larry soon greeted the pair, inviting them to the table dining upon the assortment of roasted vegetables and a wild boar covered in seasonings of pepper and salt. Before the pair began to eat their mentor asked them in a rather blunt tone why “The district had a losing streak”. Fresco rolled his eyes asking “Why are you complaining?”
Sienna soon looked over to Larry breathing in annoyed tone before Larry snapped his fingers as Avoxes soon dismissed Fresco. Fresco’s mouth dropped in surprise as he angrily ran to his carriage room and slammed the door. Larry turned around to Sienna replying “I don't tolerate immatureness.”
Sienna smirked saying “neither do I”
Larry chuckled before talking to her about her career allies before showing her assigned ally. The boy Gravelio from district 1. “At least it's not an outlier.”
Fresco soon screamed in anger that he was assigned Mariebelle from District 12 causing Sienna to laugh.
“Do they have to be a part of the pack?”
As Larry nodded Sienna frowned before finishing her food up. After briefly telling Larry about her place of employment at the Manx jewelry shop. Sienna was in charge of making the jewelry and was also known for finding quite the rare material getting quite the profit. Larry grinded before replying “any weapons?”
Sienna glared, replying “Hooks”.
As the train arrived in the capital Larry hastily brought Fresco out of his room as Sienna disembarked from the train. Immediately many star struck capital men quickly ran up to Sienna helping her out of the train. She smiled as she was soon swarmed by many reporters from golden 24 treating Sienna as if she was an Anderson fashion model. Even Fresco was swarmed by reporters. Camelia jokingly remarked “Ok captialwood couple slay!.”
Fresco and Sienna were soon told to finish up as Larry thanked the capital for their time as the pair were ushered to their accommodation floor tower. The pairs stylist Orivile Rainstorm entered the pair in the tired heep. Larry brought Fresco and Sienna to the table as Orivile displayed his potential designs before Larry declared the one he liked most: a seashell suit covered with the seashells from the district.
Sienna twirled in her outfit as if she was a model adoring the craft as Fresco frowned as he soon continued to talk to Larry about his other allies. Oroville ushered the 3 down to the parade hall.
President Mcaine made the executive the decision to allow only the tributes and stylists to be down in the hall as the mentors were being brought up to the bleachers. Ariabell gave some last minute advice on putting up a strong face. Oria looked timidly on as Charles calmed her down before thanking Ariabell as she cheerfully said “bonne chance” before joining Quinian in the audience.
Sienna was soon approached by Gravelio and Blanche from 1 greeting them. She smiled curiously at the pair before asking Blanche who her ally was. Blanche frowned before pointing at Komeda from 3. Sienna snigred before replying “My partner has a 12.”
Blanche laughed as the pair then had “Lady chat” with Dymanda from 2. Fresco soon befriends Marble from 2 as well. He recoiled while talking saying how much he hated having a 12 as their partner. Marble laughed before pointing to the boy from 5 recounting to Fresco that “We gotta practice with them it doesn't mean they gotta (Stick with us.)” Fresco’s eyes winded for a second as Marble’s sinister grin remained as Fresco nodded as he walked back to his carriage stroking the horses as the pair from 1 and 2s stylist Picey Creed and Argetnus Creed ushered there tributes back to there carriages as the parade begun.
The carrers made a better impression than last year's tubcoil. Once the pair from 4 rolled out Sienna eagerly waved and caught many flowers and even a pair of alcohol bottles were thrown. Obviously the offender was ‘removed’ by peacekeepers. Foreantutly for Fresco he had the same attention as his district partner toward the end the pair were nearly drowned in roses. For once Nico Anderson was at a loss for words; he gave high praise to Oroville causing Oroville to nearly faint in shock.
Toward the end of the line up Oria and Charles were distressed timidly waving but after remembering Ariabella’s words Oria waved as Charles looked on. Camelia remarked that they looked like the world's most “mismatched pair.”
After the end and president McCain's speech Nico Anderson was welcomed up to the stage with much fanfare. As per usual Nico congratulated the districts before crowning the pair from 5 Solar and Moon were crowned Anderson fashion best dressed for their zodiac inspired outfits.
Back in the District 4 apartment Oroville and Larry apologized for their tributes upset attitudes saying “They still looked splendid.”
Fresco sighed despairingly before walking to his room as Sienna soon joined her own. Quinian soon yelled at the pair for being too “ mouse-like.” Oria sighed despairingly however as Charles began to yell at Quinian a large fight broke out between the men. Ariabell quickly ushered Oria to the balcony as the boys “Sorted there issues” out as Camelia put it..
As peacekeepers spertaed the men Ariabell calmed Oria down; the pair hada brief dinner before Oria went to bed.
The next morning mentors hurried the tributes down to the training hall as they waited patiently for head master fling. As Arcadian soon trialed down from a near by spiral staircase . After a brief greeting and reading of the rules he then ordered the tributes to pair with there partners. As a breif scuffle formed and a breif peacekeeper aid to followed the 26 tributes were parried.
Sienna Gravelio Fresco Anabell Komeda Solar Blanche and the carrers all worked together in spear station. Many near by trainers recounted on how strained the carrer allies looked. Even Marble from 2 slapped Solar in the face after shooting Marble in the foot on accident after a stray arrow fell.
Marble was declared to be in condition after some bandging as Solar was repermeded by Head master Fling as he was put in an isolation pod for the remainder of day 1. Sienna and her other carrer allies surprisingly helped there allies Camelia later remarked “At least there trying.”
Oria and Charles surprisingly did not stay with each other. Oria did her best to talk to Natelia from 10. Belwderemently even after being beckoned by both Quinian and Bianca Natelia spent most of the few days training teaching Oria how to wield a pitch fork but as the third came to end she quit training by herself much to Quinian’s great disappointment. Charles tried his hand the sword throwing station trying to ignore the 12 year old ARnolds attempts in small talk leading Charles to also have an “Unproductive training.”
As usual the game maker elevations are usual kept secrets but what we do know is that Sienna hurled small knives and spears at targets earning her a 9. Fresco hurled tridents scoring a 9 as well. And with Oria from 14 she tried her best with throwing pitchforks ultimately dropping one landing on her foot causing her to hop on one foot swearing much to the game makers amusement scoring Oria a 5. Finally Charles threw many spears with “respectable” precision scoring him a 7.
Larry congratulated the pair on there high training scores as Orivile quickly made the pair there interview outfits as Larry drilled the pair on interview questions. Picking on Fresco in particular telling him to fix his posture and Sienna to speak up. Ariabell congratulated there pair on there middle training scores.
“How is a 5 a good score.”
Ariabell nodded as she soon begun asking the tributes questions that Camelia would typically ask as she soon displayed her “Interview creation” for the interview.
Camelia Ravenstil gracefully walked into the interview room with her new latest creation. A sapphire sleeve less dress with hints of magenta in her blonde hair. After casually chatting with teh audience she welcomed Blanche from 1.
After the first set of carrers and the rather “Intresting pair from 3” Sienna was welcomed to the stage. Sienna was adorned with a sandy color suit with hints of light orange and purple and red making her look like a walking sunset. AFter some banter with Camelia she asked Sienna on her thoughts on her assigned partner (Gravelio) and the larger carrer pack and even Fresco. As a mischievous grin crossed Sienna’s face as she whispered into Camelia’s ear “Fresco cheated on me with everyone in the district the games are my (revenge).” Camelia and the audience both gasped as Camelia responded “Go get that win honey best of luck.”
Sienna chuckled before gingerly waving to the cheering crowd of capital citizens. Fresco was soon welcomed to the stage in a sleeve less suit showing his muscular arms and many tattoos. Camelia her self even swooned as she requested for a water bottle to be brought to the stage even her husband Balthuzar groaning in annoyance. Fresco seemed to be quite the lady’s man and as he and Camelia were daring each other more flirtatious Camelia shooed him off the stage completely relizaning her husband was in the audience.
Further on in the line up Oria was welcomed to the stage. Her brown hair was put into a bun following her lilac green dress trialing down. Unforeantutly Oria was quiet timd even causing Camelia to answer the questions for Oria before shooing her off the stage. Charles was soon brought onto the stage next with a brown suit with patches of lycra all over. However the interview took an odd turn with Charles eerily mutteruing “quelle blague.” Citizens in the interviews soon jeered Charles off before welcoming new head game maker Amelia Devcote.
Amelia was welcomed to the stage with triumph applause she gingerly waved and then hugged CAmelia before sitting down for the interview. After the occasional banter game maker Devcote slipped a hint about the arena. A large statue of President Mcaine surrounded by flowers. Curious sounds of “Aww” and “oooooo” went across the stage as game maker Devcote bowed as capital citizens clapped as Camelia bowed and ended the interviews on a high.
Larry and Orivile congratulated there tributes on there succesful interviews. However as Fresco and Orivile went to bed Sienna asked Larry to chat. Larry was bemused but agreed and asked Sienna “Whats up?”
Sienna soon revealed more of Fresco’s past and once she mentioned her daughter Larry’s eyes winded before replying “He doesnt know you gave birth to her.”
Sienna grinned saying “I rose her by myself plus he doesnt deserve to see her.” Larry nodded before relazing the darkness in the conversation before whispering in Sienna’s ear to “put up the act since he appears to forgotten you.” Sienna grinned before saying “revenges a bitch.” Larry chuckled before sending her to bed. After Sienna went to bed Larry soon went to bed as well.
Charles soon bolted to his own room apparently loosing the will to talk to Quinian. Oria asked Ariabell if she did ok in the interiews.
“You tried thats what matters.’’
Oria smiled weakly before wandering to her room resting for the games.
The next day all mentors brought there tributes to the launch rooms. They were told to dress in the formal wear provided which greatly confused the mentors in particular. Larry visted both Sienna and Fresco after he had finshed with Sienna he muttered “sponsors are on there way.”
Quinian visted Charles the boys didnt say much besides Quinian saying “dont be an egget in the arena” causing Charles to snigger. As the boys shook hands Charles stepped into his tube. Oria was visted by Ariabell. Due to Oria’s nerves skyrockting to a record high heart rate of 205 Ariabell made her repeat the phrase “je peux faire ca”. After she repeated this a total of 15 times she gave a hug to Ariabell as she reciprecated as Oria walked into the tube as the tributes were risen into the garden arena.
This years games took place in the Mcaine Garden
Day 1
Once this year's tributes rose into the arena they appeard to be transfixed on the breath taking arena. Camelia eagrly began the tour of this luxroius arrena. The cornocpuia was under the grand statue of president mcaine with many feilds of flowers following. The arena was in fact in square shape with many green houses that featured rat poison garding scythes and if tributes “new where to look” flame throwes.”
Immedtaly captial citzens were supprised to see that the tributes that we paired together. Sienna was suprised to see Gravelio smiling and replying “hello”. Sienna grinned before holding onto Gravelio for dear life as Fresco’s partner Mariabell nearly fell of her there podium as Fresco caught her she smiled and thanked him. Oria grinned seeing Natelia from 10 on her other side of the podium gving a bemused grin. As Charlie looked his right he noticed Arnold slightly watching Charlie. Imedtaly Charlie screamed as Arnold begun pushing Charlie of his own podium Charlie nearly fell of his podium Game maker Devcote imedtaly exploded Arnolds tracker. Arnold screamed as Charlie looked back at Oria worryingly. After the final 10 second Game maker DEvcote wished the tributes luck as the games begun.
Sienna Dymanda and Mackena Imedtaly barrled into the corncopuia grabbing a set of knives each and fruit packages before watching out for there allies as they quickly dispatched of near by tributes. For the boys they stabbed Cornel from 9 Citrona from 3 “Mistakenly” through a knife into Solars brain. Marble looked and gave a guilty grin before going back in the crannage.
Oria and Natelia and Charles barrow there way into the corncopuia avoiding knives and scythes being hurled unforeantutly Charles was hit in the back with a scythe thrown by Mackena from 1. Oria yelped as Natelia picked her up and placed her on her shoulders as the pair ran away.
As the pair ran the corncoupia soon quietned down with the partners soon running away besides 2. Dakota and the boy from 7 ambushed the carrer pack with Ella from 8 and Pancake from 9 following. Luckily Sienna and Mackena threw there knives into the boy from 7s heart and Ella’s back and Pancakes back as well. 3 cannos soon sounded as Gravelio hurled his scythe into Dakota’s arm she screamed in pain as Fresco and a very petrfied Anabell finshed her off sounding the 9 blood bath cannons.
The carrers Mariabell plus Komeda quickly took inventory of the remainder of the supplies the six “actual carrers taking the weapons.” Komeda asked Mackena serveal times if he could use the scythe 15 times. Marble soon screamed at him to “Shut the hell up”. Komeda snarled back before taking a swing at Marble before Sienna stepped in and knocked Komeda out. As Komeda still had a pulse the carrers stooped at the near by lily’s patches watching for tributes as the boys conteplated on further action with Komeda. During the talk Malcom shouted “Hey Dynma wheres that boy from 10.” Dymanda chuckled saying “I didnt bother to check”. Sienna sniggered as the girls soon spotted Moon from 5 shouting for Lilly from 11. Mackena soon twirled her scythe and knives later joined by Sienna hurling there weapons slamming the girl from 5 into the ground sounding her cannon.
The sudden thud of the girl from District 5 hitting the ground echoed through the arena, sending a chill down the spines of the remaining tributes. Moon's desperate cries for Lilly were abruptly silenced, leaving an eerie silence in their wake.
Lily screamed as she saw her fell to the ground as she nearly was also slain by Dymanda. Once the girls returned to the flower patches Komeda apoologized to Mackena for being “Annoying.” Mackena grinned as she nodded contently before the carrers did a little more traversing soon taking shelter in a green house eagrly dinning into sponsor gifts of food and bread before sharing night watch.
After the chaotic blood bath the girls barrled into a near by greenhouse. Oria eagrly spooted one of the few flame throwers in the arena. Natelia snatched the flame thrower before hearing the boy from 8 meansingly calling out “Hey there Hennry I think I found mi some rats.” Nattelia swore before hurling a knife into the boy from 8s arm causing him to swore as she grabbed Oria by the arm running toward a far away to the near by lake. Henry swore but noticed his ally whimpering in pain he annoyingly watched the girls running away, Once evening rolled in sunset turning to a calm evening with a light rain Natelia offered to take the first watch as Oria nodded sleeping in a pile of rose petals as horn of plenty played featuring the 11 fallen tributes.
Citronia from 3, Solar and Moon both from 5 Dakota from 6 the boy from 7 Ella from 8 the pair from 9 Arnold from 12 and Charles from 14. Leaving 16 tributes remaining.
Day 2
As Tributes were not given a nights rest. Early in the morning Game maker Devocte gave her new and signature “Good morning sleepy heads.” She soon instructed if tributes wanted to have there skin to run to any near by green houses to avoid a thorny end. As the tributes awoke in there groggy states the carrers made a rush to the near by green house. As the rose bushes soon turned into a thorny mess Komeda screamed as the carrers quickly slammed the door he screamed for them to open the door however as the carrers did not do this Komeda cussed them out as he was soon impaled through the back by a way ward thorn vine.
Natelia and Oria soon also found themselves in a pickle as Oria fell into a mud ditch she screamed in fear as Natelia looked back and appeared to be in two minds about leaving or saving Oria. Natelia swore before picking the girl up and running to the near by Green house slamming the door in the last second.
Camelia dubbed this the Floral uprising as this event soon claimed Nevada from 6 and the girl from 7. After the 10 minutes was up Game maker Devcote congratulated the 13 suriving tributes before declaring it safe to come out.
Due to it being 4 am most tributes went back to bed Oria was happy to see a sponsor gift flying down. She eagrly jumped up and read the note The note read: " and bandages for her woundon her leg. She soon applyed the bandage on her leg before going back to sleep. As most of all the tributes went back to sleep and didnt awake till 2pm 1 cannon did sound. Henry from 11 and his district partner Lily were encountered teh arena’s brand new bear mutts. Lily manged to out run the bear mutts but unforeanutly for Henry he was clawed in the chest sounding his cannon instantly.
As for the carrers Mariabell grew quite frightened as Sienna and Marble were on night watch she “Attempted” to steal the remaining ration packs but Sienna caught her at the last second hurling her knife into the back of Mariabell’s neck sounding her cannon. As Fresco and teh rest of teh pack woke up Fresco angrily slammed Sienna into the green house wall threatning that “he’d get her next.” As Sienna put her hands on her hips saying “Is she gonna be your next thing.” Mackena looked on before snickering before joining in. Sienna soon added in “You forget about Shell?”
Fresco angrily slammed a knife into Sienna’s shoulder Sienna soon sniggered saying “I guess shell wont meet her real father.” The next scene was noted be one of the most replayed in captial as Fresco screamed “you bitc” but before he could finish his sentence Gravelio and Sienna both kicked Fresco so hard he flew down the flower fields crashing into a near by statue sounding his cannon. As evening turned into night Dymanda took care of Sienna’s bruised shoulder. As horn of plenty soon played at midnight showing the 6 fallen tributes.
Before Oria and Natelia went to bed a loud ruckus soon followed. Apparently unknown to the tributes the bears had “An alegric reaction” blindly wandering around the arena until the game makers had remove the bears. Natelia was surprised seeing her district partner Jason quickly running up to the pair. Camelia revealed to the audience that Jason was on the verge of starvation begging Oria and Natelia for food, Natelia shuddered before allowing him to stay with the pack. He weakly smiled before drinking nearly all the water the group had. As both the girls groaned the pair slept for the night.
Day 3
With the previous day of floral rampage pleasing the capital the game makers allowed for a rest day. Only the boy from 8 died from malnerushment and dehydration.
Day 4
As the next day dawned Game maker Devcote wished the tributes a good morning as she declared a feast would take place in the early afternoon in the rainbow field of flowers equadiesdently from the corncpopuia. Eagerly adding the twist that the feat bags would be hanging from the trees surrounding the arboral flowers. Comedicaly adding “This wil be best for the naturely inclined.”. The carrers eagerly awaited this contemplating plans as they ran to the flowers Mackena and Sienna had lady chat while Marble and Dymanda both shouted quietly at the pair to be quiet. Mackena did not take kindly to the interruption before slamming a knife into Marbles heart. Causing Dymanda to shreak in annoyance before charging at Mackena. Marbles cannon sounded as Sienna and Gravelio angrily yanked the pair of squabbling ladies away.
As the feast bags soon raised up Mackena apologized to Dymanda saying that “it would of happened soon.” Dymanda nodded as the pair ran ahead snagging the sponsoor gifts for District 2 and 4. However as Mackena through a spear into the incoming Lily’s head. Lily yelped before running a way with her feast bag in fear. Mackena yelped and asked “Why are the 2s so arrogant.” Gravelio screamed at Mackena to watch out unforeantutly she was to late as Mackena spluttered blood as Dymanda laughed saying “Primadona.”
Gravelio sighed beofre running with Sienna away to the near by feilds. As the “Feast tree” was about to return to the ground Camelia and Asomedus eagerly continue to conduct the live feast events. Oria screamed seeing Dymanda meansingly smiling from above taking aim with her new bow and arrow. Jason climbed up teh tree taking 5 arrows in thei arm as he tried to grab his bag he fell 20 feet sounding his cannon. From what was now dubbed as the Floral banquet Natelia looked at the frightened girl from 14 she smiled running up the tree and tossing the bag for Oria down. As Oria tried to also climb the tree Natelia said “she’d get the phsyco out the tree.”
Camelia and most of the audience in snow square shouted in suprise as Oria nodded as Oria ran away viewers in snow square were given an epic fight between the girl from 2 and girl from 10.
As Game maker Devcote announced the feast to be over Dymanda grinned as she hurled her final arrow into Natelia’s heart. Her cannon sounding quietly paying respects to the detrmined girl from 10. However Dymanda did not reliaze that the tree had started to go down. She mis judged her footing as she soon screamed falling out breaking her back instantly with the cannon following.
Gravelio and Sienna soon returned to the corncopuia apparently realizing that tomorrow would be the final day of the games. Horn of plenty played featuring the 5 fallen tributes. Mackena from 1 Marble and Dymanda both from 2 Jason and Natelie from 10. Leaving final 4 Gravelio from 1 Sienna from 4 Lily from 11 and Oria from 14 remaing.
Day 5
As the next morning came into play Gravelio and Sienna causally chatted at the cornoxpuia before Game maker Devcote made an announcement. She congratulated the final 4 for making it this far in the games declaring in 5 minutes tributes would need to be back in the corncopuia or risk tracker denoation.
Lily did not make it back in time her tracker denoting sounding her cannon. As Oria made it back in time but fell into the “rats Nest’” as Asmodeus put it.
“You want her or should I.” Gravelio asked Sienna.
Sienna shook her head as Oria hurled her scythe into Gravelios shoulder. He swore as he chassed after Oria. Citizens in Snow square were screaming at there favorites to win at a deathing level even causing Camelia to jokingly tell Asomdeus “My my they’re as jumpy as a race horse.”
Oria suprsingly put a strong fight but before she oculd delver the finshing blow Sienna slammed her fist into Oria’s jaw causing it to break before Gravelio stabbed Oria in the chest. Her cannon sounded before Gravelio grinned at Sienna. Viewing square grew a deadly quiet.
“Didnt expect it to be us remaining.”
Sienna grinned before appologizing as Gravelio looked on and did the same an epic fight soon took place. After furious punches and whacks and hair pulling Sienna got the upper hand holding her knife to Gravelios neck.
“You did good kid.”
Gravelio smiled as he thanked her. Sienna gave a sympathetic smile before asking Gravelio to “Say hi to Mackena for me.” Gravelio smiled as he nodded as Sienna soon slit Gravelio’s throat the final cannon sounding.
Sienna got up and in a kind jesture she moved Gravelio’s body to a near by rose field just as Game maker Devocte crowned Sienna Shorevile of District 4 to be the victor of the 105th hunger games.
Sienna gave a warm smile to the camera before allowing the peacekeepers to take her on the hovercraft.
After games
Sienna was loved through out the captial and even in the districts she was hailed as a hero. She was adorned in a rose gown with hints of light blue purple roses all over her blonde hair was tied into braids as for Camelia she adorned in a gold dress with embellishments of yard weeds all over. These outfits Camelia wore were always known as odd hints to many feature games. If you would like more information see story 19 Wardrobes of hints.
Imedtaly Camelia asked Sienna on the “Baby Bomb” refering to when Sienna mentioned this to Fresco after they’re argument. “The boy dated nearly every girl in the district plus I didnt see him remembering me anyway.” Camelia sniggered and laughed replying “Clearly he didnt.”
As the interview continued on Sienna appeared to enjoy her nickname “The flower queen.” After a little more bantering Sienna was cheered of the stage as Game maker Devcote was soon brought. Amelia was given cascades of cheers many citizens throwing flowers to the clearly star struck game maker. Game maker Devcote soon begun chatting with Camelia even allowing a hint to Camelia eagerly only saying the 1 hint and nothing more.
Camelia soon thanked Game maker Devcote for her time as the pair took hands and bowed.
Sienna returned home to district 4 the following day to much fanfare. She moved into the victors village with her brother and uncle and her daughter. She was given a offer to teach at District 1 or District 2s training academy. After careful consideration she taught at District 1 and her own districts training academy specliazing in weaponry.
After Sienna’s victory our historians have later recounted of how in the following decades of the surge of volunteres in district 1 2 and 4 giving more victors to the carrer districts. she would later move to the capital marrying her husband Harlem snow having 2 more kids. She and her husband would later go on to open a jewerly store in the capital specializing in flower themed jewerly/ It is not just here that Sienna Shorrivle storey ends she is fezatured quiet promently in our later stories we encourage you to theorize or even look further into Sienna Shorrvile’s long and succesful life.;
And thats it for story 105 I hope you all enjoyed. I think this one was one of my better tales. Likewise I hope you all enjoyed and 106 will proably be up in a week or 2. Since I dont have much left to say I hope you all have a wonderful day night or afternoon or what ever time it is for you. And as always say Panem today Panem tomorrow Panem forever.
