Internal Linking

When adding internal links, make sure to have relevant anchor text. Anchor text is the clickable text in a hyperlink (usually indicated by blue font color and underline). To optimize your anchor text, make sure the selected word or phrase is relevant to the page you’re linking to.
On-page SEO ensures that your site can be read by both potential customers and search engine robots. With good on-page SEO, search engines can easily index your web pages, understand what your site is about, and easily navigate the structure and content of your website, thus ranking your site accordingly. As a best practice, make sure your page content includes 1-3 relevant internal links.

Schema Markup

Adding structured data helps Google better understand the content of a page. Google also uses certain types of structured data to display “rich results” in SERPs such as a recipe with start ratings or step-by-step instructions with an image carousel. These rich results often appear at or near the top of SERPs and generally have higher click-through-rates than normal organic listings.
Google prefers structured data to use schema.org vocabulary, and recommends using JSON-LD format. They also provide a handy Rich Results Test tool to check your code. User experience is key to a website’s long-term success. In spring 2020, Google unveiled Core Web Vitals, a common set of signals that they deem “critical” to all users’ web experiences.
The purpose of these signals is to quantify the user experience with a website, from page visual stability and load time, to interactive experiences.
To check your LCP score, access your Google PageSpeed Insights and make sure your page hits LCP within 2.5 seconds. To accomplish this, remove unnecessary third-party scripts that may be running, upgrading your web host, activating “lazy loading” so page elements load only as users scroll down the page, and remove any large page elements that may be slowing it down.
One of the simplest ways to optimize cumulative layout shift is to add height and width dimensions to each new site element. Also, avoid adding new content above existing content on a page (unless responding to user interaction).

What is Off-Page SEO?

Off-page SEO focuses on increasing the authority of your domain through the act of getting links from other websites.
A good analogy for how authority works is this. If you have a bathtub with rubber duckies in it (the ducks are your pages), and you start filling the tub with water (links), your duckies are all going to rise to the top.
This is how a site like Wikipedia ranks for pretty much everything under the sun. It has so much water in its bathtub that if you throw another rubber duck in it, it’s going to float to the top without any other effort.
There’s a score called “Domain Authority” that calculates how authoritative your website is compared to other sites. You can type your domain name into here to see your score.

How to optimize for off-page SEO

There are several factors that influence your off-page SEO rankings. While each one is tackled with different strategies, they share an overarching goal of building the trust and reputation of your website from the outside.

So a 3 months back I met a guy on Bumble, he was a really nice guy, but due to certain reasons, we decided that we aren't going to date, I was absolutely frustrated with my life then and all apps in general, and he was of my same age, so more or less we vibed well, though we had completely varied interests. Anyway 2 weeks into conversation over Instagram (he'd asked me for my id) he said that he'd developed feelings for me and like it was all too much for me, because I'd made myself very much clear that I was not in a position to date rn, I'm doing my final year of medicine and he was prepping for his IIM admissions and stuff, we'd soon be in different cities/states and long distancing was near to impossible as I can't manage a relationship in my final year. I didn't want to him to invest his time on me without seeing any future, and also we were from different religions, and it wouldn't have worked out anyway, also some other personal issues which I can't mention here. But I felt very bad for leading him on (I never did tbh, I'd made myself clear, and he admitted that it was he who developed feelings for me). I'd a lot of free time then, I'd just got done with my exams then and we used to maintain a connection when I could, and I gradually started detaching myself from him and said we could move on as friends or else we'll stop talking altogether but he said that we could reduce the frequency if the conversations and it'll gradually die down. Fast forward, we talk/chat often like when I get time, btw he got into one of the best IIM's in the mean time, I entered my final year, we planned on meeting, since we'd got to know each other online and planned a meetup, but it didn't work out and he'd to cancel in the last moment. So we dropped plans of meeting, and agreed that we'd meet if any one of us was in the same city (we live in different cities), and usual conversations went on. He is a really good friend (or atleast that is what I assumed) and I tried my best in supporting through his interviews for IIM's as a friend and I'm absolutely overjoyed when he got into literally 5/6 IIM's. Btw I was having a tough time in my life die to the hectic academics and college. Yesterday I saw that he'd come to his Alma mater which was in my same city, and he didn't tell a word. I replied asking whether he was here and he said that he didn't want to bother me and that I was already having a hectic schedule. I had tears rolling down my eyes, and would've gone to meet him, since I considered him a dear friend and he didn't even ask me if I'd come to meet him. I literally ended up crying. I'd done my best to support him as a friend through his exams and interviews, not sending any mixed signals making my stand very clear( I like him dearly as a friend nothing more) and yet he just did this to me. Now I just feel so bad. Am I such a bad person that he absolutely avoided me and didn't even ask me whether I could come( I did have a packed schedule yesterday, but I'd have found time, after all it's all about priorities) Do I deserve to be treated like this?I just feel absolutely disgusting, with already a hard time at college. I still can't believe he just avoided me, he's indeed a nice person who used to listen to my rants and support me when I could, or was it all just a facade, I strongly believe it wasn't.

The journey was far from easy. Collecting and organizing a large dataset from universities, consultants, and IELTS course providers was one of the most time-consuming parts. However, the satisfaction of overcoming these hurdles and seeing my app live on the app stores made it all worthwhile.
If there's one piece of advice I can offer, it's this: don't let the lack of experience deter you from pursuing your ideas. The resources available online today make it entirely possible to learn and build something amazing from scratch. Take your time, be patient with yourself, and stay persistent. You might just surprise yourself with what you can achieve.

I used to adventure all of the time. I'd explore caves, ride motorcycles, go to waterfalls, meet new people, go on hikes all over the place, just ride around and explore what I could find. In 2023, I went through a lot of stress and trauma, and also just stopped taking care of myself. I didn't realize just how shape I had gotten, until I got smacked with a panic attack and also realized I was putting on weight when looking at myself in the mirror...
I want to get living again. I'm sitting here on a free Sunday afternoon. Old younger version of me would be on the dirt bike exploring a trail, or heading out to check out a cave.
I did used to be a bit reckless when I was younger, but I want to be safer now. I still want to adventure, but just take more mind to safety. I would over-do things when I was younger, now I'm a bit more wiser (I hope).
The problem is that as I've grown up and gotten out of shape it's lead to me becoming very scared. I am constantly afraid about whether or not I can handle XYZ adventure, even if it's a very light adventure. My sleep is fucked, I constantly wake up at 12pm or later and sleep 2-3am. I very struggle to make plans.
In many ways these problems (poor sleep & poor planning) is from my moderate success making money online. I can work anytime. anywhere. I don't need to be up at 8am... But I'd love to be up at 8am, not to "hustle" but to enjoy some nature activities.
I've been working out... Intensely. It's just depressing making progress but still being so far behind where I used to be. I want to cry just writing this out. A "hard" day these days is what an easy day was just a few years ago. And it's because of that that I'm scared to do any motorcycle ride or hike or any adventure, no matter how easy it is, because I know I'm not as strong as I was before physically.
I've also had mental trauma, and I'm seeing a therapist. Believe me, I'm attacking in many ways. Seeing an EMDR therapist to heal my mental trauma from last year, and working out intensely. I just need to fix my sleep and get in the habit of planning again and also get adventuring regularly again to show my brain that it's okay and that I don't need to be terrified (and also prove to myself that I'll "adventure responsibly" by using safety equipment and not overdo it, etc.).
I'm tired, and I think I'm addicted to YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, doomscrolling, staring at hot girls on IG, playing video games, etc, I just hate it. I feel like I can only think short-term and struggle planning, and I often feel like I'm in "withdrawal" when I'm not medicating with scrolling and whatnot. I think those things keep me up later at night, too.
I'd love to get out again. On a nice hike. Rock climbing. In a cave. Enjoying a waterfall. Cruising on a beautiful road early in the morning with little traffic.
What upsets me even more is that I definitely have the time and ability to do these things, it's just mainly my mental issues and bad sleep and bad planning holding me back. I have a huge list of adventures written out, I know what I want to do, I just have to get doing it more regularly.

I used to adventure all of the time. I'd explore caves, ride motorcycles, go to waterfalls, meet new people, go on hikes all over the place, just ride around and explore what I could find. In 2023, I went through a lot of stress and trauma, and also just stopped taking care of myself. I didn't realize just how shape I had gotten, until I got smacked with a panic attack and also realized I was putting on weight when looking at myself in the mirror...
I want to get living again. I'm sitting here on a free Sunday afternoon. Old younger version of me would be on the dirt bike exploring a trail, or heading out to check out a cave.
I did used to be a bit reckless when I was younger, but I want to be safer now. I still want to adventure, but just take more mind to safety. I would over-do things when I was younger, now I'm a bit more wiser (I hope).
The problem is that as I've grown up and gotten out of shape it's lead to me becoming very scared. I am constantly afraid about whether or not I can handle XYZ adventure, even if it's a very light adventure. My sleep is fucked, I constantly wake up at 12pm or later and sleep 2-3am. I very struggle to make plans.
In many ways these problems (poor sleep & poor planning) is from my moderate success making money online. I can work anytime. anywhere. I don't need to be up at 8am... But I'd love to be up at 8am, not to "hustle" but to enjoy some nature activities.
I've been working out... Intensely. It's just depressing making progress but still being so far behind where I used to be. I want to cry just writing this out. A "hard" day these days is what an easy day was just a few years ago. And it's because of that that I'm scared to do any motorcycle ride or hike or any adventure, no matter how easy it is, because I know I'm not as strong as I was before physically.
I've also had mental trauma, and I'm seeing a therapist. Believe me, I'm attacking in many ways. Seeing an EMDR therapist to heal my mental trauma from last year, and working out intensely. I just need to fix my sleep and get in the habit of planning again and also get adventuring regularly again to show my brain that it's okay and that I don't need to be terrified (and also prove to myself that I'll "adventure responsibly" by using safety equipment and not overdo it, etc.).
I'm tired, and I think I'm addicted to YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, doomscrolling, staring at hot girls on IG, playing video games, etc, I just hate it. I feel like I can only think short-term and struggle planning, and I often feel like I'm in "withdrawal" when I'm not medicating with scrolling and whatnot. I think those things keep me up later at night, too.
I'd love to get out again. On a nice hike. Rock climbing. In a cave. Enjoying a waterfall. Cruising on a beautiful road early in the morning with little traffic.
What upsets me even more is that I definitely have the time and ability to do these things, it's just mainly my mental issues and bad sleep and bad planning holding me back. I have a huge list of adventures written out, I know what I want to do, I just have to get doing it more regularly.
